Okay this scene. This scene! The buildup to it was so intense I could barely breathe, and then they did this. I might have screeched a little. It's the way Lee Dongsik is like an immovable and unstoppable force here, and all Han Joowon can do is follow the pull. He looks utterly transfixed, so focused on Lee Dongsik that nothing else registers. There's no resistance, no attempts at pulling back, no angry words, just a complete, wide-eyed submission - and waiting, with bated breath, for an answer. And I was waiting with him.*

And then the answer did seem to come, but only for us, viewers (this time I definitely screeched. A lot.)...

*had the strongest flashback to Fangs and Zhuo Yichen and Li Lun in that scene in ep 25...

I've been taking my watercolors to life drawing classes, so I can figure out how to FUCKING paint. I'm really proud of how it's going.

(Also I feel like you can tell how much I love Man Ass (tm) just from how I painted the third picture, and I love that.)

A while ago I had the idea to make a series of paintings exploring how much I love male/masculine body shapes. I've painted and drawn casually my whole life, but I was struggling to get the effect that I wanted.

Finally I realized that my ability to depict light and shadow was way behind my other skills. Especially in paint, especially in the human figure. How do you communicate the shape of a 3D object on paper? What shapes and tones do you use?

I tried a bunch of different media and this is definitely a sweet spot for me to learn right now. I'm looking forward to trying toned paper next. It feels really good to be putting effort into this and loving what I'm seeing. <3

Sero demanded they sleep in the Netch. Tally claims even the bedroll is softer than those hide-covered pieces of wood. Ithruen refuses to sleep in a bed that's not at home. One-bed room it is.
