Legend has kids?,?,!?!
Fanfic prompt: Knowing that Ravio is a bunny fanatic and Legend is capable of becoming a rabbit
I am surprised that Ravio hasn’t tried to adopt rabbits yet (just to be a little shit)
Like full on dragging in a fluffle of rabbits and then Legend just had to deal with it … whatever he wanted or not
But because of the good old “dad and the dog after a weekend together ” logic he then proceeded to consider them his kids
Then the chain (best if Sky and Twilight already know about legend's rabbit form)
Gets introduced like
Legend : “Those are my kids”
Tumblr media
While everyone took it for the joke it was there also were twilight and Sky freaking the FUCK out about the implications

You didn't hear it from me, but some royal guards had been saying that one of them saw princess Zelda being escorted to the castle by a mysterious green clothed man late in the night the other day, although we can not assure this, the royal guard said that he's sure it was the princess even though that girl was wearing a cape
He was fired.

In hyrule warriors my theory is that the twilight princess area happens after tp itself based on how things are set up, but this of course begs the question of where exactly tp Link is, and my answer is that Cia goofed up and accidentally blasted him to botw’s time as a wolf

Linked Universe Daemon AU Headcanons
WORLDBUILDING NOTE 1: The concept of daemons is borrowed from the His Dark Materials series. A daemon is a person’s soul manifested outside of their body in a tangible, physical form, which permanently settles into the form of the animal that most resembles them in character as the individual matures. Person and daemon are not separate beings, but two halves of one mental coin, which means that they each know everything the other does, thinks, and senses. Daemons are almost always the opposite gender of their person and have a distinct personality than the person to a certain degree, as person and daemon represent different aspects of the same whole. Touching someone’s daemon without their permission is taboo, considered a violation tantamount to rape in most cultures.
WORLDBUILDING NOTE 2: All Links have the same name for their daemon: Ellanharai (composed of the Old German elements ellan “courage” and heri “army”). However, because all the Links are their own person, their daemon’s form settles on something different with each incarnation. Just as the Links in the Chain go by different titles to differentiate them all, so, too, do their daemons. Links tend to settle early (12-13 years), as they generally know who they are and what they want from a young age.
WORLDBUILDING NOTE 3: The Dark World/Twili crystal magic combines someone and their daemon into one physical body. This new body has the form of the daemon but the gender of the person with size alterations or different markings/coloration and is controlled by the person, with the daemon part of their mind taking a backseat. For example, Legend is larger as a rabbit than his daemon usually is, and of course, her natural color is not bright pink. The lingering effects of this transformation only physically affect the person side of the person/daemon pair once they are returned to normal.
---
SKY + PSALM (RED-CROWNED CRANE)
Tumblr media
Red-crowned cranes are renowned for their lasting and affectionate pair bonds, having come to represent longevity and devotion in many cultures; they are cooperative and low-aggression birds, quite tolerant and relaxed around other animals, and only really become territorial and protective over their nesting sites and chicks.
Psalm is impatient, mischievous, and fierce. Sky is more easygoing, considerate, and gentle.
Sky and Psalm are very outwardly affectionate with each other, and both can often be found napping together in a patch of sunlight, Psalm resting her head in Sky’s lap or draping a wing over him. As the physically tallest daemon of the bunch, Psalm delights in teasing fawning over her smaller daemon sisters, especially the younger ones. She will often sit on someone and happily brood, and while some may outwardly protest, everyone secretly enjoys it.
---
FOUR + RHYME (ITALIAN HEBRAN HONEYBEE)
Tumblr media
Four's daemon is an industrious, adaptable, cooperative, sociable species of honeybee, known for being assertive but not aggressive insects; they have a high threshold for what they consider threats, and will communicate using pheromones, body language, and vocalizations to make themselves as clearly understood as possible, but they will not hesitate to defend themselves if something is deemed a threat.
Four is empathetic, observant, passionate, and composed. Rhyme is the emotional, pragmatic, impulsive, competitive part of his personality.
Rhyme is usually kept in a protective case Four wears around his neck to prevent any harm from coming to her either in battle or out of it, due to her diminutive size, but he will happily let her out to stretch her wings when around people he trusts. While she is too small to outright cuddle with her sisters, Rhyme loves perching on their heads or burrowing into feathers or fur when it’s chilly, and she’s surprisingly expressive with her body language, though one might have to squint to see it.
When Four splits into his Colors, Rhyme also splits. Which means instead of one being in two bodies, they’re now one being in eight bodies. As in LU canon, none of the Colors is their own individual in this AU, merely a fraction of a larger whole. In turn, each iteration of Rhyme is an alternate part of each of the Colors, with Four’s soul fragmenting into smaller and smaller individual pieces the deeper you go down.
---
TIME + MELODY (SPANISH FARON MASTIFF)
Tumblr media
While menacing in appearance due to their sheer size and bulk, Spanish mastiffs are actually known for being protective, affectionate, quiet dogs, with a long history of guarding livestock; they are patient, easygoing, and surprisingly playful, good with children and tolerant of other animals, though their strong wills and stubbornness make them a challenge to handle for first-time dog owners.
Time is authoritative, jaded, and stoic, while Melody embodies his nurturing, hopeful, mischievous side.
Melody can often be found at Time’s side with one of his hands resting on her head or back. As the largest daemon in the group paired with the tallest person, they make for quite the intimidating pair and are downright deadly in battle together. Outside of battle, though, Melody becomes a big teddy bear, utterly content to let her daughters sisters use her as a pillow or mode of transportation, quietly communicating all the warm care and tenderness Time is sometimes too awkward to openly express. She is the one who introduced the musical motif the other Ellanharais also adopted when coming up with nicknames for themselves.
---
TWILIGHT + ARIA (GRAY WOLF)
Tumblr media
Twilight’s daemon is a social, cooperative, dedicated apex predator, who routinely work together to raise their young, defend their territories, and chase down their prey over vast distances; they are not overly aggressive and prefer to avoid conflict whenever they can, using body language, sent marking, and howling to diffuse tense situations and prevent costly fights between packs or individuals.
Twilight is focused, cautious, and opinionated. Aria is his easygoing, empathetic, people-pleasing side.
Aria instantly adopts most of the younger daemons in the group and dotes on them as much as they’ll allow. However, she turns into a big, besotted puppy whenever Time and Melody come into the picture and becomes adorably bashful around Malon’s pigeon daemon Rosamu. She is often found at Twilights right side, guarding his flank and watching his back while he focuses his attention on what’s in front of him. She also loves scritches and belly rubs and has nearly smothered Twilight more than once by sprawling on top of him too heavily while they sleep. While their initial transformation into Wolfie was traumatic and scarring at first, they have both grown to enjoy the occasional opportunity to truly travel, fight, and exist as one.
---
WILD + TRILL (WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE)
Tumblr media
Wild’s daemon is a loyal, resourceful, resilient species of raptor that is often found alone or in monogamous pairs, but will freely cooperate together with groups of up to 15 other eagles to take down larger prey; they are straightforward and communicative with their vocalizations and displays and also surprisingly playful, wrestling or playing food games with each other.
Trill is Wild’s dutiful, reserved, focused side, while Wild is the impulsive, playful, lackadaisical side.
Trill is rather choosy with and to whom she shows open affection. She can be very standoffish, preferring to let Wild do the talking for both of them, but once she trusts someone, she will often become very chatty and physically affectionate. It is common to see her riding around or napping on Aria's back, but she has begun opening up more to the others as well.
Because Wild lost all his memories in the Shrine of Resurrection, Trill had become unsettled when they finally woke up, taking the most basic shape a daemon can take, normally only seen with very young children: a small, floating, glowing ball of golden Dust. As they regained their memories during Wild’s quest and discovered more about themselves, Trill began taking on some of their old favored forms before eventually resettling for good as her original settled form, the wedge-tailed eagle. Despite physically being the same, though, there’s still that distance between who they are now and who they used to be, most evident in how their personalities have seemed to switch; Wild used to be more serious, focused, and responsible, and Trill used to embody the impulsivity, rowdiness, and wanderlust he kept tightly tamped down for the sake of duty and appearances. Both of them are still coming to terms with how much they have changed.
---
LEGEND + LYRIC (EUROPEAN HYLIAN RABBIT)
Tumblr media
Legend's daemon settled as a hardy, wary, sociable, territorial species of rabbit, able to survive and thrive in almost any environment; they are a keystone prey species, a vital part of almost any ecosystem they find themselves in, who must stay ever vigilant and rely on their speed, wits, and determination to stay alive.
Legend is blunt, private, and practical, while Lyric is the sensitive, sociable, sentimental side of him.
Legend has… a complicated relationship with his daemon’s form. He initially hides her away from the rest of the Chain out of paranoia and insecurity, keeping her in his pack at all times. What would Hyrule they think of the renowned Hero of Legend having a defenseless, soft little rabbit as a daemon? They would lose all respect for him, or worse, be disappointed. It isn’t until after the Twili crystal incident, and Twilight and Sky find out about Lyric’s form, that he starts to come out of his shell.
After the ice has been broken, Lyric leaps at the chance to interact with the other deamons more. She goads Aria or even Melody into games of chase, can finally properly pounce on Warriors’ daemon the next time she teases her, curls up into a little fuzzy ball with Hyrule’s daemon to nap, leaps up on Trill or Psalm or Wind’s daemon’s backs and coax them into giving her a ride, and holds Rhyme in her little paws to gloat that she finally knows a daemon smaller than her (Rhyme is not amused). She is the one who came up with the name for their group of daemons, which is a chorus, just like a group of Links is a chain.
---
HYRULE + CADENCE (YELLOW-BELLIED GLIDER)
Tumblr media
Hyrule’s daemon is a small, nocturnal glider species that is selectively social, close-bonding, and expressive, utilizing a number of chirps, whirrs, whistles, and growls to keep away intruders and keep tabs on each other; yellow-bellied gliders are incredibly active, hard-working creatures, spending up to 90% of their time awake foraging, and they can travel up to 2 kilometers in just 4 hours through a combination of climbing and gliding.
Hyrule is independent, wary, and agreeable. Cadence represents his dependent, connected, feisty side.
Cadence is generally quite a skittish daemon, who can normally be found clinging wide-eyed to Hyrule’s back, shoulders, chest, or arms, or hidden inside his tunic or pack. She has not interacted closely with many other daemons in her time (fairies do not have daemons), so she is still getting used to the physical affection the others offer. She does not dislike it; it is simply a lot. But she is gradually learning to love being nuzzled, cuddled, and carried, and she greatly enjoys riding around on the other larger daemons.
---
WIND + SHANTY (MILITARY MACAW)
Tumblr media
Wind settled just a couple months before the events of Linked Universe as a resourceful, gregarious, deeply loyal species of macaw; like all macaws, they can be quite loud, communicative, and expressive, and they have generally been described as having friendly, confident, playful dispositions, albeit with the occasional temperamental mood swing.
Shanty is Wind's meticulous, perceptive, down-to-earth side, while Wind is reckless, curious, and carefree.
As is befitting for a parrot daemon, Shanty spends much of her time perched on Wind’s shoulders or arms, though she does love being held and cuddled, too. She is still getting used to her settled form, and sometimes forgets she cannot shift like she once did, leading to some hilarious mishaps when she faceplanted on the ground trying to turn into a hermit crab, or one memorable instance where she nearly drowned while trying to become a yellowtail snapper. She gets very starry-eyed over the other demons and thinks all of them are the coolest for different reasons. She desperately wants to impress them and prove she’s just as badass as they are, so she can sometimes chafe under their well-meaning coddling.
---
WARRIORS + BALLAD (RED FOX)
Tumblr media
Warriors’ daemon settled as the confident, dependable, independent red fox, the most widespread and successful carnivore in the world, found in just about every available habitat, from jungle to tundra; despite being mainly solitary, these animals have a complex social hierarchy and can be seen in a wide variety of group settings, with vixens sometimes coming together during the breeding season to help raise each other’s cubs, and their mates bringing them food and also helping parent the new cubs.
Warriors is shrewd, charming, and diplomatic, while Ballad is more brash, cheeky, and candid.
Ballad, while generally friendly and warm with the other daemons (especially the younger ones), is also strangely skittish around them. She is fine initiating touch or curling up for a nice nap around or with someone else, but if touched unexpectedly, she tends to either bristle, growl, and retreat behind Warriors, or go very still and quiet. She shies away from any human hands except Warriors' (and even then there are days he doesn't touch her directly). They bring to mind other hands. Slim, small, elegant, painted hands that hurt, that took, that tainted- ...It’s fine. She’s fine. They’re fine. Everything’s fine.

Sneak peek at my designs for the post-game Heroes of Hyrule and Time, aka "weird fairy kid and former weird fairy kid gone dad mode", as they appear in my Lost Woods AU, a Links Meet idea I've been working on over the past year.
The idea of the Lost Woods connecting eras of Hyrule and characters meeting one another in their depths came to me in a vision one night and wouldn't leave, so it's finally becoming a thing. Concept art, references for the other heroes, and the beginnings of some writing for it all, will be appearing… hopefully soon, if my brain cooperates. ✌

Wow. Just wow.
Link X Reader
Reader is gender neutral (if I missed a pronoun let me know!)
Reader is also Zelda’s sibling :)
(OOT Link/HW Link, TP Link, BOTW Link it doesn’t matter to me)
Link was present with the other guards as the princess was announced. Being the Hero and all, he was required to make an appearance to show loyalty to Hyrule. Zelda was called and she curtsied in front of her audience before joining the king. Link was ready to leave. He’d been at this celebration for ages. Hyrule had been rebuilt as soon as the peril had ended, and now they were celebrating the health of the royal family. Big deal. A ball for the people was nice, but Link never found himself wanting to mingle with people. His plan was to pay his respects and leave as soon as humanly possible.
And then, a second royal was announced. (Y/n). Link’s eyes snapped to attention. He wasn’t aware there was a second royal child. And yet, there they stood. In front of the crowd of people their face reflected poise and elegance. Link’s breath left his lips, and he couldn’t believe it. They were beautiful. Radiant. Why didn’t he know there was a second. Judging by their face, they couldn’t be more than a year or two younger than Zelda. Link found himself embarrassed at the lack of formal attire he chose to wear. Just his adventure gear… which hasn’t been washed.
Link was disgusted with himself. He bathed, sure, but these clothes? They smell like blood, sweat and like he rolled in Epona’s stall and then slept there. Standing with the guards, yeah they’re men. But a beautiful royal like (Y/n)? He tried to rack his brain for any idea on what to do. And then said (Y/n) was walking towards him. Link continued to panic, hoping the young royal would stay away from him. “Link, it’s so nice to meet you.” Their voice sounded like a choir of angels specifically picked by Hylia to speak with him. “My sister has told me all about you.” They said, smiling at him. It’s like the whole kingdom decided to stare at the two. Link felt his face heat up, he took a knee and couldn’t muster anything. They laughed, patting his head gently. Their laugh sounded like a bell. He loved it. “I’ll see you at the ball then?” The royal asked. Link nodded, continuing to stare at the ground. “Alright then. I’ll see you.” And with that, they pulled away. Link’s head slowly rose to watch as the royal walked away. “Wow.” He whispered. Immediately Link turned to the guards that stood around him. “Where can I get something to wear for the ball?”
(Y/n) awaited the hero, nervousness flooding their body. They watched the crowd whilst they sat at their throne. Zelda sat beside them, gently placing a hand on theirs. “He might not come, (Y/n). He’s not big on parties, or other people.” She said. (Y/n) chewed their lip, the calming feeling of their older sisters hand atop theirs was nice. “He… he said…” They continued to look anxiously. “I just thought he’d be different. I’ve been meaning to make a move ever since you’ve gotten closer to him. He’s so gentle and kind and amazing. I was hoping to ask him on a date.” Zelda gave (Y/n) a sad smile. Link had voiced his anxieties about being around others often enough that she doubted he would show. However, the blonde running into the ballroom would say different.
Link managed to get his hands on a royal guard outfit. The blues and reds cascading down his body made him look regal and elegant. (Y/n) straightened up in their throne and quickly stood. Link turned, facing the royal. His eyes slowly drank in how they looked. Elegant and absolutely breathtaking. “(Y/n), I’m so sorry I’m late.” The words tumbled out of his mouth. “I needed to find something to wear. I wasn’t planning on coming.” He admitted before letting out a laugh. “But, plans changed.” (Y/n)’s heart soared hearing that. “Yes. Yes they do.” They approached Link, taking his hands and staring into his pretty eyes. “Hello there.” (Y/n) smiled. “Can we start dancing now?” Link nodded and (Y/n) led him to the dance floor. Together the two began to dance. Link was following their lead as closely as possible. After a few moments, (Y/n) broke the ice.
“I was, uh, actually wondering something important?” Step, step, twirl. (Y/n) avoided his eyes. “And what’s that?” Link steps back, (Y/n) steps forward. “Would you be willing to accompany me? Through the gardens sometime?” Link seemed confused by the request. “Like, as your bodyguard? Because I’m sure there’s knights anywhere who could do that for you. I’m a bit of overkill if you’re worried—“ Link began to ramble and (Y/n) quickly put a stop to that. “No, as a date. I want you to go on a date with me.”

hi im ranting (positively! this game kills me but in a good way) about breath of the wild again
i know it's controversial but i love the way the story of the game is told. because you start the game in the middle, perhaps near the end, of the story. the game is entirely through link's perspective and he wakes up knowing and remembering nothing. in turn, the player starts off knowing nothing. the past is revealed as the story goes along, and the player learns about the past and about the land as link does. there are little tidbits about hyrule and about the calamity scattered across the land. an old woman in hateno village tells you of an age of desolation that she grew up in. the travellers you see on the road are younger people because they're described by older characters as more bold, whereas the older characters grew up being told to never leave the village, it's too dangerous outside (compare this even to tears of the kingdom, where travellers are more common because the land has been safer. even older characters have left their home to travel elsewhere (not including the lurelin villagers)). battlefields are still strewn with old rusty weapons and deactivated guardians that no one but monsters will go near. myths and legends about the princess and hero have been passed down, to the point where their legitmacy is questioned and everyone has a different opinion on them.
it's environmental storytelling. it's things like seeing drawings and a bow in zelda's study and seeing a child reading a storybook with a hero that wears a blue tunic similar to link's. it's the stories that the villagers share about old myths that turn out to be true. it's the ruins scattered across the land, long since overtaken by monster camps but still unmistakably being houses that people once lived in. it's the utter lack of civilization anywhere remotely near the castle and the feeling of dread in the ruins of the town that surrounds it. it's a kingdom entrenched in its past, with no ability to move away from it until the calamity is finally defeated.
#head into the wall. i love this game so much#legend of zelda#breath of the wild#and no i dont hate totk for getting rid of the sheikah tech and replacing it with zonai tech#the zonai tech is foreign and new to the people of hyrule and theyre EXCITED about it#how many zonai researchers are there in totk vs how many sheikah researchers in botw?#people are wary of the technology that destroyed their home a century ago#and they're terrified of the guardians that still roam the land#i still hold that link likely was behind the reason why the shrine of resurrection was completely dismantled#it's kinda like majora's mask in which half of the story is in the side quests and the characters#mm had a plot yeah but it kind of accompanied the rest of the setting#link had a goal but he also had so many people to talk to#botw is similar. link has a goal in mind but he's also one to help others#and if someone literally just lost their chickens or if their husband is sick and needs medicine. he's willing to help them out#the world is just as important as the plot itself and i think i like that more#than just a linear plot which is accompanied by the world#botw totk and mm reward you for exploring#(along with some of the others like twilight princess and a link between worlds)#but it's very different i think when half of the game is about exploring#or more than half even. you have your goal but you have to get there first#and there are so many ways you can get there and so much you can encounter along the way#biting screaming crying#the bow is in zelda's room but close enough

How would the Ganondorfs (Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors, and Tears of the Kingdom) and Demise (From Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword) react to realizing they are falling in love?
Wind Waker Ganondorf
Reaction: Wind Waker Ganondorf is a man of grand ambitions and deep bitterness. When he realizes he's falling in love, his initial reaction is one of confusion and denial. Love is a foreign concept to him, one he associates with weakness.
Behavior: He spends a great deal of time brooding, pacing back and forth on the deck of his ship, staring out at the sea. His thoughts are consumed by the object of his affection, and he finds it increasingly difficult to focus on his plans for Hyrule.
Response: Despite his initial resistance, Ganondorf eventually decides to confront his feelings head-on. He seeks out his love interest, his approach a mixture of vulnerability and authority. He demands to know what spell they have cast on him, his voice trembling with emotion. Though his words are harsh, his eyes betray the depth of his feelings.
Outcome: He confesses his turmoil with a mix of anger and desperation, unable to fully understand or control his emotions. "You've ensnared me," he says, voice low and intense. "I cannot think, cannot plan. What have you done to me?" His confession is raw and unpolished, but it is honest.
Ocarina of Time Ganondorf
Reaction: Ocarina of Time Ganondorf is a calculating and ruthless leader. When he realizes he's falling in love, he initially freezes up, unable to process the depth of his emotions. Love is a distraction, one that he cannot afford.
Behavior: He becomes even more aloof and distant, throwing himself into his work with renewed vigor. He tries to bury his feelings beneath layers of strategy and conquest, but they continue to surface, haunting his thoughts.
Response: Eventually, Ganondorf decides to take a more strategic approach. He carefully plans an encounter with his love interest, using the meeting to subtly gauge their feelings and intentions. His confession is indirect, cloaked in veiled references and cryptic remarks.
Outcome: He speaks in riddles, his eyes never leaving theirs. "You have become a part of my plans," he says, voice smooth and controlled. "I did not intend for this, but it seems fate has other designs." His confession is calculated, a test to see if they feel the same.
Twilight Princess Ganondorf
Reaction: Twilight Princess Ganondorf is a being of immense pride and power. When he realizes he's falling in love, he initially grows angry, seeing his emotions as a betrayal of his strength and purpose.
Behavior: He becomes more aggressive and volatile, his anger masking his fear. He lashes out at those around him, struggling to control the storm of emotions raging within.
Response: Despite his anger, Ganondorf eventually confronts his feelings with brutal honesty. He seeks out his love interest, his approach a mixture of intimidation and vulnerability. He demands that they take responsibility for the emotions they have stirred in him.
Outcome: He grabs their arm, his grip firm but not painful. "You have done this to me," he growls, eyes blazing with intensity. "I am not a man to feel such things, yet here I am. You will answer for this." His confession is forceful, a challenge rather than a plea.
Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf
Reaction: Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf is a warrior through and through, with little time for matters of the heart. When he realizes he's falling in love, he initially tries to hide away, avoiding the object of his affection.
Behavior: He becomes more withdrawn, spending long hours in solitude, training or meditating. His mind is a battlefield, torn between his duty and his growing feelings.
Response: Eventually, Ganondorf decides to face his feelings head-on. He confronts his love interest in a quiet moment, his demeanor uncharacteristically gentle. He confesses his turmoil, his voice soft and sincere.
Outcome: He takes their hand, his touch surprisingly tender. "I am a warrior," he says, voice low and earnest. "But you have shown me something beyond battle. I do not know what to do with these feelings, but they are yours." His confession is heartfelt, a rare glimpse of the man beneath the warrior.
Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf
Reaction: Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf is a complex mix of ambition and honor. When he realizes he's falling in love, he initially feels a sense of panic, unsure how to reconcile his emotions with his grand plans.
Behavior: He becomes more introspective, spending long hours in contemplation. He seeks solace in his memories and the wisdom of the past, trying to understand his feelings.
Response: Ganondorf eventually decides to confront his love interest with a mix of vulnerability and determination. He seeks them out, his approach both respectful and sincere. He confesses his feelings openly, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Outcome: He kneels before them, a gesture of both respect and supplication. "I did not seek this, but my heart has found you," he says, voice trembling slightly. "I am at a loss, but I cannot deny what I feel." His confession is humble, a plea for understanding.
Demise
Reaction: Demise is a being of pure power and malevolence. When he realizes he's falling in love, he initially reacts with a mixture of rage and confusion. Love is a weakness he cannot afford.
Behavior: He becomes more violent and unpredictable, his anger masking his fear. He lashes out at those around him, struggling to control the tempest of emotions within.
Response: Despite his rage, Demise eventually confronts his feelings with brutal honesty.
"I am not a being to feel such things, yet here I am. You will answer for this." His confession is forceful, a challenge rather than a plea.

Hyrule's dark world form (goat deer)
Ive heared of ferret or horse Hyrule but im not really fond of those ideas
He is a gentle soft boy, but firce when provoked, like a deer or goat, deer also tend to be seen as more magical and they dwell in the wilds (goats do too, but can also be domesticated)
I also just think that hyrule as a goat would be adorable, so i did a mix of a deer and goat (i based the goat off of the orodonian goat)
I would preferably design the animal off of the animal from their game itself, but there are no animals as far as im aware in loz 1 or 2, let alone a deer or goat. So instead i desided to use the design of them fron other loz games (also i just love the design of the orodonian goats soooo

I love how different I treat OOT link vs taol link in my head
OOT link is a tragic character in OOT yes, but his story from Majora’s mask onward is not a tragedy. He relearns what it’s like to love and to live despite the pain and terrors. He is the ultimate symbol of hope and learning to cope with one’s own grief, to forge a bright future despite the past. Yes, maybe if link stayed in the future world of OOT instead of returning to the past he would have found more tragedy or even death, but his story in Majora’s mask is one of the most hopeful stories any link has faced. The damn game ends with a wedding!! The game symbolizes and cherishes love and happiness more than anything, link is NOT a tragic character during or post Majora’s mask.
TAOL Link is the ultimate tragic character in my eyes. Yes we get very little of his story since the games are very old but I would argue that the world tloz/TAOL link lives in is even more apocalyptic than botw/totk. You start as a child in the middle of nowhere, a sword thrust upon you and a destiny you’re forced to follow to save a strange princess from a monstrous pig. Myself and others even theorize monsters originally burned down link’s village and people and that’s how he ended up where he is at the start of the first game, from fleeing that horror. By the time of TAOL, he’s around 16/17 now so 6-7 years older than in the original tloz. He has been in possession of two pieces of the triforce all that time and is forced to find the third to prevent the resurrection of the same monstrous pig. Now this takes context from other games but if you’re familiar with Ganondorf from OOT, you know that his possession of the triforce of power for 7 years has physically altered his appearance. I personally view it as the triforce of power is physically altering him to look similar to the goddesses, more animalistic than human (even if it’s only been a slight alteration between the past and future). TAOL Link has had both the triforce of power AND wisdom in his possession since he was 10… who knows how that has changed not only his body but his mind. With his possession of the triforce of courage by the end of the game, who knows how that will affect his soul too. Most often when link has had the triforce of courage for long periods of time, he loses any sort of fear or care for himself. Albw is a great example of how his sacrificial desire to protect others can cause more harm than good, the same reason why link died in botw (even though I have more thoughts on that). Taol link, a child by all rights, thrust into a terrible world to protect two different princesses, and slowly turning into the perfect puppet of the goddesses. The triforce gives you the power to grant any wish you want, but what if the cost is losing your own free will the longer you have them? Link is harboring the triforce to prevent a resurrection and further ruin, surely that doesn’t come without consequences. OOT link was able to break free from his fate and was forced to confront his greatest fear: himself. The cycle of never ending grief… was broken. However similar to OOT link, TAOL link also had to confront himself. But it wasn’t to confront his trauma and fears, it was a test specifically designed by the former king and the goddesses. A perfectly designed test to prove to the goddesses that he is the perfect puppet and harborer of the triforce: dark link. I think shadow link is a more apt term because dark link is not an evil version of link, dark link is the manifestation and mirror of all of link’s strengths, fears, kills, deaths, and courage. He is a perfect puppet of link just minus his weaknesses, the link the goddesses want him to be. So TAOL link doesn’t confront himself to conquer his grief and fears, he confronts himself to fully submit to the triforce and the goddesses and the kingdom. He is the link who has fully fallen victim to the triforce and may never be himself ever again.
So all that to say, I will defend OOT/mm to my death bed about how link’s story is not a tragic one. And I will argue to that same death bed about how tloz/taol link’s story is.

OKAY SO I have FELLINGS bout the victory cutscene in skyloft. WHERE THE F DID EPONA COMEFROM? And did Link the victory stance in Tp on Eldin brige after you defeat king bublin. Like EXUSE ME? wrong place buddy! (Is this a glitch or somthin? I did skyloft first if that is any variable to this equation) I feel a little chip on my shoulder. I feel wronged. Idk. I am doing "Twilight field" last. Tf Lana be the only one to do so? Yes I have gotten riled up at this silly fun game. It took me so far out of the emerson.. I am still gonna play the game but ima grump a little.
Just just I love Twilight Princess so much. You have the Eldin Bridge as the "Twilight field" too! And you Pull that move on me at SKYLOFT?
