#my art #not sure if i wanna tag these... hrm #i wonder if alt text shows up in search results.... shudders #well anyway. i wanna ramble about these!!#for willy mafton: i've been working on designing more of the human cast. mainly all the big name important ones #it's been a slow process + a little challenging but i like getting the chance to practice drawing faces! :]#in regards to His design specifically.. it's very much based off of his movie apperance #but with a reference to that Classic sprite thrown in #bc i thought making him a little cartoony and inhuman would fit him :] but idk im not an expert on his character or anything #about the rabbit lady: i forgot how i had that idea initially but it ended up looking so fucking cool tbh #im always a fan of making her design less of a feminine eye candy type of design and more of a Spooky Murderer type >:3c #it also gave me the idea to try making some similar designs for the glams...#but if i do that im not gonna be giving them that vintage rubber mask look... since they're meant to be super flashy and high tech looking #so i was thinking they could have faces with more of a silicone texture.. and that have a style based more off of their in game art work :]#so they'd be like giant dolls with weird moving faces rather than having a vintage animatronic look #also that van in the bottom middle is 100% a homage to a specific user i wont be mentioning but iykyk HFJZJFJF #ANYWAY the 🌞🌜 stuff: dont be weird about it please HFJZJG #im aware that these tags are very easy to ignore but like. genuinely pls dont be weird about them #dont romanticize it. its not meant to be ''y/ndere'' or anything like that #its actually a bit personal to me so like... interpret it as you like but be aware its not meant to be a happy or positive thing #anyway i think thats all i have to say... i've been trying to branch out a tiny bit regarding the things i draw #it's always nice to challenge yourself even if its tough... especially if its tough!!#i mainly draw just for my own sake but i hope ppl see something they like here #these tags got so fucking long oops... i'll stop now JFKZJFKSJGKSJG

I can't stand the tension! I miss Unicorn: Warriors Eternal so much! I just need to know if it's coming back or not! If it's getting another season (or three like Genndy hoped for), then that's freaking awesome! If it's getting Zaslav'd before it can ever address that cliffhanger, then that's the biggest disgrace to happen in this industry in about a month or two (maybe idk). But just let ne know already! It's been a year! I miss Mel/Em, Ed, and the others so much! SGGYJGDGHBFGRKKDDYHHH

#unicorn #unicorn warriors eternal #guess being away from new cartoons between su's ending and unicorn's run made me rusty on handling long hiatuses #but even so with steven we at least knew the show would still be here it was a matter of when not if #(ftr i was only watching that show in 2014-15; a tiny bit of '16; and from single pale rose onward so i missed some infamous hiatuses)#even during that 8-month hiatus where we weren't sure if there'd be any more show we at least knew of the movie #unicorn is nothing like that #yeah it's the passion project of genndy (still pretty secure at wbd) and it was actually a solid ratings success #but you never know with the horrors of the zaslav regime #if infinity train couldn't even get the dignity of staying on streaming then truly nothing is safe #i also have no clue if ivandoe is getting season 2...#but to be fair it's getting so many freaking hiatuses in the us for some reason that i at least have quite a bit of time left with it ig #man i miss the days when it didn't feel like every cartoon had at least a 50% chance of getting blown up by rancid executives #like don't even get me started on how disney channel/xd always has 1-2 banger cartoons on that can never make it past season 3 #(i mean i've been too lazy to actually watch amphibia or owl house or ducktales...#...but everyone loves them so maybe i should get off my butt and watch them at some point in my hopefully lengthy existence)#cartoons #post started as a fan of an obscure show on hiatus going crazy and ended up as a rant on the concerning state of animation. go figure.

I've officially reached net zero information on the kimba controversy. Like wow i love the lion king let's see what other people on the internet have to say about it! Oh no looks like they ripped off some Japanese kids show for this huh that sucks. Wait up tho upon further inspection it looks like they just took some heavy inspiration from it but marketing purposefully obfuscated that so while this is most likely not as bad as it seems at first it's still kind of sucks they did that. Wait actually these scenes that everyone cites as too similar to the lion king are actually from a movie that was released 3 three years after the lion king. Ok but apparently this movie has been stuck in development since the 80s bcs disney purposefully sabotaged it so it wouldn't compete with their movie. Wait actually this is apparently a totally unsubstantiated claim with no proof. I guess all that happened here is that there's two franchises that are about cartoon lions being the rulers of something. Now that's not very exciting is it

#this post brought to you by being jumpscared by the fnaf bus wrap in eddy burback's new video #we finally found the down with cis bus #anyway. i really hope jenny nicholson does not follow through with making content about the fnaf movie also #it's somewhat more in her wheelhouse but also. idk i've been very conflicted about the general reactions to the fnaf movie #is it a legit criticism to say that it's only for the fans and it's awkward and cringy? what other purpose should it serve?#i feel like it would have been more legit to say that if it had been sharted out by a bigger name director 5 years ago #but you can't really like. section off a movie from being part of culture at large the way you can with a video game #but also it was marketed WAY more than i expected lmao. but also with surprisingly little movie-centric merch #so it doesn't feel like as much of a kids meal tie in merch flood as it did when it was just passing the former high water mark of peak fna #i was killing time in the gamestop at the mall recently and heard the cashier say they literally can't keep fnaf merch in stock #idk. as always. i am absolutely fascinated by every aspect of fnaf. it is such a strange little phenomenon.
