I love the items in acnh and I sometimes fantasize about playing the game again, but then I remember that the first month after you make your island is the most taxing AND the most fun you'll have and then everything after that is mind-numbingly boring

It didn't fully hit Bradley until the first time he noticed that soft swell of your belly. It seemed to sneak up on him, the way it took several months before it was noticeable. But once it was there, it was all he could think about.
He was going to be a dad. And you were going to be a mom.
"Sugar," he whined that first day he noticed it. "You have a bump." You were lying in bed, trying to read as he pushed your tie dye shirt up a few more inches. "This wasn't here yesterday."
You set your book down and glanced to where his hands were resting gently on your belly. "I guess I do have a little bump," you replied softly, running your fingers through his hair as he kissed the spot just above your belly button. "My wool skirt is getting snug for work, but I thought I was just bloated."
Bradley was mesmerized. "Do you think it's a girl or a boy?" he asked, glancing up at you with a grin.
"Do you really care?"
"Not at all." He kissed your bump and started humming his favorite Grateful Dead song. Bradley knew this was likely the only time you'd want to get pregnant. Your career was important to you, and you were already concerned about the baby coming before the end of your spring semester. You said you were going to have to take the following fall semester off from teaching, because you didn't want to let down the math majors at San Diego State University where you taught calculus.
"You don't know how easy it is to love you," he sang to your belly before abruptly rolling over in bed.
"Where are you going?" you asked him with a laugh.
He grabbed his phone and opened his music app, mumbling, "The baby should get to hear the Grateful Dead perform it. Sounds better than when I sing."
He queued up the song and placed his phone near your belly as it started. "I don't know. I kind of like your version, Beer Boy," you promised, and he kissed your lips before pushing your shirt up high enough so he could see your tattoo of the song lyrics.
"That's good, because I'll never stop singing it," he whispered, running his nose along your tattoo. He placed one hand gently on your belly and sang along.
--------------------------------
"I'm so excited," Bradley whispered for the seventh time in five minutes. "I don't think I've ever been this excited before. I also kind of feel like I'm going to throw up."
"Relax," you whispered, taking his hand. If he was this bad today when you were getting a high definition ultrasound, maybe you didn't want him with you when you actually delivered the baby.
"I just want to see the bean," he mumbled, practically bouncing in the waiting room chair.
You tried not to smile, because he actually looked a little pale and nervous. "We don't even get to find out the sex today."
"Yeah," he replied, exasperated, "but we get to see the bean, Sugar. Up close and personal."
When they called your name a minute later, Bradley jumped out of his seat and dragged you down the hallway. He paced around the first room while you had some blood drawn. And then he paced around the next room while you waited for the technician to come in.
"Why did they call us back if they weren't ready?" he grunted, eyeing you up and down as you sat on the exam table in a hospital gown. "This is taking for fucking ever."
"Watch your language in front of the baby," you scolded, and his eyes went wide.
"Shit, you're right. Oh, fuck. Damn it!" You were cracking up now as he sat down with his forehead resting on his palms. "I'll get better, I promise!"
"You have about six more months to shape up your act."
He thought about everything he had planned for the next six months. Buy a crib and a stroller. Put a car seat in the Bronco. Paint the extra bedroom. Put those little plastic safety things in all the outlets in the house.
When the exam room door opened, he jumped to his feet as a woman in pink scrubs walked in. "Hi, I'm Elaine! Sorry for the long wait, but we were double checking your blood work," she said walking toward you.
"What's wrong with the blood work?" Bradley asked, his voice suddenly hoarse. The desire to throw up returned, and he was reaching backwards for the arm of the chair.
"Nothing at all," she replied smoothly, helping you lay back on the table and opening the hospital gown. "A lot of different levels were elevated, so we wanted to be sure. But if you're ready to see the babies, then we can get started."
"Babies?" you and Bradley nearly shouted in unison as Elaine opened the software and turned on the gigantic monitor.
"Yes," she replied with a smile. "You're having twins."
Bradley nearly collapsed back into the empty chair. "Holy shit. Holy shit, Sugar!"
"Twins?!" you asked Elaine. Bradley couldn't tell if you were excited about the idea or not, but he was thrilled. Two babies? In one go? This was better than getting a promotion at work. This was almost as good as his wedding day. Almost as exciting as when you and he reunited in Virginia after ten years apart.
When you reached out your hand toward him, Bradley rocketed out of his seat to get to you. "Are you happy?" he asked, lacing his fingers with yours and kissing your forehead.
"I... I think so. I think I'm kind of shocked."
"Me, too. But in a very, very good way."
As the two of you watched the monitor while Elaine moved the wand around on your belly, Bradley's eyes filled with tears. He had never seen anything so sweet in his life.
"Two little beans," you whispered, and Bradley watched you cry as you smiled. When he nodded, you added, "Yes, I'm happy."
But when Bradley got you settled at home, his apprehension started to creep in. You were clearly tired. You were the one growing the twin beans. He probably wasn't doing enough. As you slowly dozed off in bed wearing his old Grateful Dead shirt, he watched your lips part, soft breathing taking over.
His thoughts drifted to his own parents. He could only remember how much pain his mom had been in before she died, and he could barely picture what his dad looked like unless he had a photo in his hand.
Bradley could feel his heart rate pick up, the rapid pounding filling his ears started to make him feel crazy. He sat up in bed, trying to catch his breath. "Fuck," he muttered. He was going to mess this all up. He didn't know what he was doing. He couldn't remember his dad. And all he knew was that his mom somehow made him feel safe without really doing anything that he could model his behavior off of. Carole just made everything seem effortless, which was not helping him right now.
He bolted out of bed, and then your eyes were open and focused on him. "What's wrong?" you asked groggily. "I need you to snuggle with me."
He studied your pretty face and your earnest expression. "What if I suck at being a dad?" he blurted out.
You set your head back down on the pillow and reached out for him with one hand. "You're good at everything else. You'll be good at this, too."
"But what if I'm not?" he demanded. "I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I barely even had a dad." He thought of the navy desk lamp and how he'd followed in his father's career path and how he somehow knew Nick had loved him.
"You've never let me down yet, Beer Boy." Your soft words and the way you reached for his hands were enough to get him back into bed. And then his pulse returned to normal as you wrapped him up in your arms. This time he was dozing off before you were.
----------------------------
Bradley went sprinting out of work at the beginning of lunchtime. If Maverick kept them one minute longer, Bradley would have earned himself some push-ups for insubordination. It was your anatomy ultrasound scan day, and now he was going to be late meeting you there.
"Fuck," he groaned as he yanked down the zipper of his flight suit a few inches as he pulled out into traffic. He was trying so hard to stop swearing, but days like this just called for the f word. "Fuck, fuck, fuck," he growled, weaving around cars.
He wanted to know more about the twin beans. You and he had been talking about names, and he was beyond excited about everything. Last weekend he had painted the nursery a soft gray color and assembled two cribs. He even ordered a variety of matching tie dye onesies. Then you told him he did a great job and pushed him down on the floor on the new cloud shaped area rug in the nursery. His reward was getting to run his hands all over your round belly and tits while you rode him.
Bradley was in love with you and the babies, and being late today was making him upset. You were already on the exam table with the technician when the receptionist led him back to the room.
"Oh good, you're here," you sighed as he rushed toward you and grabbed your hand.
"I'm so sorry I'm late," he whispered, kissing your forehead and then your belly.
The technician smiled as Bradley knelt next to the table with his hand in yours. "Let's begin?" the technician asked. And when you nodded, he rubbed some gel on your belly and ran the wand slowly back and forth until those adorable beans were on the monitor just like last time.
"They got so big!" Bradley said, proud of how nicely they were growing.
"They are measuring right where they should be," the technician said, pausing the screen to take some pictures. "And I can tell you the sex for both of them if you want to know."
"Yes!" Bradley nearly shouted, looking up at your beautiful face as you laughed. "Please!"
"Okay, here we go."
It felt like an eternity as Bradley gripped your hand, waiting to be informed about what he was looking at on the screen. You were stroking his knuckles with your thumb, always so calm and analytical.
He glanced at your face and watched you as the technician said, "Baby number one right here is not shy at all. He's waving hi."
"He?" Bradley was on his feet, trying to get closer to the screen.
"Yes. A boy," the technician said.
"Another little Beer Boy in the making," you said before Bradley leaned down to kiss you.
He was sure he looked ridiculous as he said, "Nah, he'll be so much better than me. He's half you."
The way you smiled up at Bradley had him kneeling next to you again. "What about baby number two? Can we look at that bean now?" he asked, squeezing your hand.
"Okay," the technician said, drawing Bradley's attention toward the screen again. "And baby number two...well she's trying to hide behind her brother, but there she is."
Bradley shouted, "Yes!" so loudly that you and the technician both jumped a little bit. "Oh my god, Sugar!"
"One of each," you whispered, covering your lips with your shaky fingers.
"This is exactly what I was hoping for, but I didn't want to say it out loud," he whispered against your ear before kissing you all over your face. "Two little beans. One of each!"
You wrapped your arms around Bradley's neck and said. "You don't know how easy it is to love you."
------------------------------
"I'm not going to make it," you moaned, laying on the couch while Bradley made dinner while his phone rang. You were at the start of your third trimester. You were huge. You were always hungry. It was getting hard to stand up for your lectures that were longer than an hour. And Bradley was the only thing holding you together.
"Fuck!" he suddenly shouted from the kitchen.
"What's wrong?" you asked, lifting your head up from the cushion. When Bradley walked into the living room, his brow was pinched and he was eyeing you warily. "What?" you demanded, struggling to sit up.
He knelt in front of you and eased you into a seated position. "Sugar," he whispered, pleading with you. "I just got the call. A special mission."
Tears sprang to your eyes. "A deployment?"
"Yeah, baby. I'll be back before the due date."
You cried while his lips met your belly through your shirt. "But, Bradley," you sobbed, "I can't! You've been doing everything! I'm so exhausted, I can barely function! And what if they extend you? That did that last time!"
Great big sobs wracked your body, and you started gasping for air. Soon you were close to hyperventilating, but Bradley got you into the bathroom just in time for you to throw up in the toilet. And then you curled up on the floor and looked up at him. Your voice was a harsh whisper as he rubbed your back. "I can't do this without you."
He looked distraught as he said, "I don't want you to have to. But Uncle Sam owns my ass."
You closed your eyes, dreading asking him for the mission details. So instead you whispered, "No, the beans and I own your ass. Uncle Sam just borrows you."
"You absolutely own my ass, Sugar," he replied softly, kissing your tear streaked cheeks and helping you get to your feet. "Let's try to eat dinner, and we can talk this through."
Bradley carried two plates of food to the dining room table where you had the perfect view of the glossy white doors he had used to propose to you. He had hung them up on the wall, turning them into the most beautiful work of former frat boy art you had ever seen.
SUGAR
WILL
YOU
MARRY
ME?
You picked at your food as he filled you in on the missions plans. He was perfect. Your husband was perfect, and now you were scared you weren't going to be able to get through a month without him. And then you started to spiral, because if four weeks alone while you were pregnant felt too daunting, how would you manage twins while he was gone for months at a time?
"Beer Boy?" you whimpered. "I can't do this."
"Yes," he said adamantly, "you can. You're the strongest person I know."
You bit down hard on your lip as it quivered. "What if something happens to you? Or me? Or them?" Your voice broke, and once again, Bradley was collecting you into his arms and abandoning the dinner plates. You cried softly as he helped you out of your work clothes and into his old Grateful Dead shirt. And then you curled up in bed and watched him strip down to his underwear.
You watched the flex of his muscles as he took the hideous, tie dyed Grateful Dad shirt out of his drawer and pulled it on. "Nothing's going to happen," he whispered as he got in bed beside you. "You'll wear your shirt, and I'll wear mine. And we'll think about each other the whole time I'm gone. And I'll hang up all the sexy photos I have of you plus the ultrasounds of the beans. And before you know it, I'll be back. And then the beans will be here. And then we'll actually be even more perfect than I ever thought possible."
You cried yourself to sleep in his arms, soaking up all of his beautiful words.
---------------------------
Bradley's duffle bag was packed. He was leaving in the morning. You'd made him a little folder of copies of the ultrasound photos, and he'd added a few wedding photos as well. He laughed every time he looked at the photos from your Vegas wedding with Elvis. But right now, he felt like crying.
Somehow you were holding it together better than he was right now. "You coming to bed, Beer Boy?"
He zipped his bag closed and looked up to find you standing there in your navy blue bra and matching panties. Your tits looked bigger than ever, practically spilling over the lace cups. And your belly had gotten so big, your panties were tucked below your bump. He reached out for you, pulling you close so his nose met your belly.
"I want the two of you to be good for Mommy while I'm gone, okay?" he whispered, kissing and tickling you with his mustache. He was rewarded with your fingers in his hair and a kick from one of his twins. "I love my Sugar Babies."
You giggled and said, "I wonder if that was the jellybean or the spoonful of sugar that kicked you." Over the past few weeks, you had taken to giving the twins cute little candy related names, and Bradley couldn't get enough.
He'd never get enough of you either. The way your fingers felt in his hair as he knelt in front of you. The sound of your voice when he closed his eyes. The warmth of your skin where he kissed you.
"I'm gonna miss you," he whispered before he stood and followed you to bed.
"I'll be there to pick you up four weeks from tomorrow," you promised, reaching back to unhook your bra. "I promise."
Bradley groaned loudly as you sank back into the pillows. "Your tits look delicious," he moaned, crawling across the bed to get to you. "Fucking huge."
"Watch your language in front of the babies," you whispered against his lips as he palmed your breasts and stroked your tattoos. "Daddy."
Bradley pulled your underwear down your legs and tossed them aside, running his fingers through your slick. "Bradley!" you gasped, your eyes following his every move as he brought his fingers up to his lips.
"You look delicious, and you taste delicious," he told you, licking his fingers clean before you reached for his cock through his boxer shorts. You squeezed him, eliciting a strangled, needy noise, and he whined your name.
And you let Bradley do whatever he wanted with a devilish little smile on your face and his name on your lips. You sucked his cock until he was panting, and then you leaned back with your hands on your chest. When he ran his wet length through the valley between your breasts, you urged him along.
"I want you to," you whispered as he titty fucked you. Your tongue darted out to taste him as he tried to go slow. But you looked and felt so good, he was already so far gone by the time he pulled away from you.
"I wanna make you feel good," he gasped as you pushed him onto his back. "As fucking good as you make me feel all the time."
He was treated to the sight of you awkwardly positioning him at your entrance as you had to work around your belly. And when you slid down around him with your perfect pussy, Bradley let his hands come to rest on your hips. Your body was wider now and impossibly sexy, and you rode him as you ran your fingers gently along your breasts.
"I love you, Sugar," he whispered, running his knuckles along your clit until you were clenching. His other hand came to rest on your belly, and Bradley felt so connected to you, so in love with you, that he felt a tear leak from his eye as you came from him. And then he came inside you as he met you halfway for a kiss.
As you eventually started to doze off on his shoulder, still full of his cum, you whispered, "I love you too, Beer Boy."
----------------------------
Being away from the three of you was tedious at best. Bradley found it hard to pay attention to the things he was supposed to do. He knew the mission parameters inside and out, but he didn't take the time to think about how dangerous it was. There was no space left in his jumbled thoughts for anything except you.
Phoenix had promised to go to your appointments with you in his absence, and when he was allowed to call you, he listened intently to your updates
"Jellybean boy is measuring a little bigger than our sweet girl, but they both looked good! Nice and strong according to the doctor. And I gained three more pounds, which is probably not ideal, but all the meals you made and froze for me are so yummy."
And then he flew the special mission, set on making sure it went as flawlessly as possible. Determined to stay as safe as he could. Whatever it took to get back home to San Diego and his perfect little family.
You were less than a month out from your due date now. And when Bradley arrived on the dock exactly four weeks after you'd sent him off with some filthy kisses, he was so excited to see you. See if you'd gotten bigger or had trouble walking now. He was excited to kneel down and talk to his twins.
But when he turned his phone on, he was greeted with a voicemail message of your incoherent sobbing. He dropped his bag to the deck of the aircraft carrier as the sound of you crying met his ears. His heart sank to his stomach. You'd left him this message just a handful of hours ago, but when he tried to call you back as the ship was docking, you didn't answer.
"Come on," he whispered, his voice harsh and filled with unshed tears. "Sugar." But still, you did not answer.
He could feel himself gasping for air. He promised you nothing was going to happen. He never broke his promises to you. Not even when he was twenty one years old and didn't understand the strength of the love he felt for you.
He was staring at his phone screen for a few seconds as tears filled his eyes before he realized he was receiving a call.
"Nat?" he asked, answering his best friend.
"I'm on the dock," she said simply. "I'll find you as you deboard. We're going to head right to the hospital."
"What happened to her?" he asked, clutching his own stomach, barely able to speak. "To them?"
"Early labor," was all she said. Then she sighed before repeating herself. "We'll head right to the hospital."
------------------------------
You weren't sure what was going on. All you knew was the intense amount of pain you were in was enough to make you throw up over and over again. When your water broke during your calculus lecture, you shouldn't have been surprised. You'd been feeling off all week. You tried to chalk it up to missing your husband, but it was more than that.
After your water broke, you collapsed, only breaking the fall with your hands on the hard floor. You were pretty sure at least one of your wrists was broken, but nobody at the hospital was even slightly concerned about that. Not when they were trying to determine if your babies were okay.
Tears welled up in your eyes, and you had to beg Natasha to leave you and pick Bradley up from the port on base after she met you at the hospital. You had been informed that the babies were fine, but you needed to deliver them now as you were running out of amniotic fluid. They would deliver the beans by cesarean section. They were going to put you under general anesthesia for it.
You cried as they prepared you for surgery. You were alone. Bradley was probably with Phoenix by now, but they wouldn't wait any longer. "Let's get started," your obstetrician said as you settled on your back with your battered wrists as your sides.
"Okay," you agreed, crying as the drugs to put you under started to cloud your vision.
"Sugar!"
You laughed softly at the nurse to your left. "That sounded like my husband," you said with a giggle. Then you caught sight of Bradley running into the room in his khaki uniform, drenched in sweat. "It looks like him, too. Hi, Beer Boy," you said, still laughing as he rushed toward you.
"Sugar," he gasped, eyes wide. But they wouldn't let him touch you as you fell asleep.
Pain. You woke up in so much pain. Everything hurt. You were on your back and the room was dark and you could hear beeping.
"Bradley?" you gasped, trying to sit up, but you couldn't. You started crying and calling his name, and then he was at your side.
"I'm here, Sugar," he whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "It's okay. I love you. You're just waking up again."
"Again?" you asked, completely confused. "Where are the beans?"
"In the nursery," he promised. "They've been in the nursery since yesterday when they were born."
Your head was swimming with information and memories and fear as Bradley left you to turn on the dim hospital room lights. "They were born yesterday?"
"Yes," he told you, making his way back over in his rumpled, wrinkly uniform. "And you had surgery on your left wrist today."
But you were starting to remember more now as your eyes settled on the white board across the room. The birth times and birth weights of the twins written in an unfamiliar scrawl. Baby A and Baby B were born just five minutes apart. You must have been on a lot of pain medication, because surely those were not the names you and Bradley had discussed?
You cleared your throat a few times, and then he was grabbing your cup of water and holding it so you could take a sip through the straw.
"Bradley," you started, but he stopped you with a kiss to your chapped lips.
"I'm so proud of you, Sugar," he said, letting his forehead come to rest against yours. "Do you have any idea how fucking amazing you are?"
"But Beer Boy," you said, glancing at the names written on the board.
"The doctors said the kiddos are doing just fine, and when they wake up hungry in another hour or so, you'll be able to see them."
"But I-"
"And only your left wrist was broken. Your right one will heal on its own. And your abdominal incision will heal up great. And you'll be back to work after the fall term, no problem."
"Bradley!" you said loudly, realizing it was nearly three in the morning as you checked the clock before looking at the names again. "Did you go rogue and name the children without my approval?"
Your husband was silent now, and you could see his cheeks were a little red. "Just the middle names," he muttered softly.
You sighed and read out loud from the board. "Emma Bean Bradshaw and Levi Garcia Bradshaw," you said slowly. "Really?"
He looked so sheepish as your gaze met his again. "I thought they sounded nice," he whispered, and you felt your lips curve into a smile.
"I love them," you said, swallowing hard. "Their names are perfect."
And then you were treated to your husband's lips and mustache as he kissed you all over your face until you were laughing. "I thought you were mad," he said with a sigh of relief.
"Not mad," you promised, letting him adjust your bed and get you more water. He flitted around the room for a few minutes, and then the door opened as two nurses pushed bassinets into the room, and you cried as you looked at your daughter and your son in their matching tie dyed onesies
Bradley picked Emma Bean up in his arms, and he gently held her out so you could give her a kiss. "Here she is. And check it out, Sugar. I've been feeding them and changing them since yesterday!"
You marveled at how he held her and bent to coo at Levi Garcia at the same time. And then a moment later, he was sitting in the chair right next to you, feeding each baby a bottle as he sang his favorite Grateful Dead song.
"Beer Boy," you said with a soft laugh. "You really are the Grateful Dad."
He smiled at you and said, "I haven't been home yet to wash my hideous shirt, but one day soon we can all wear our tie dye together."
You examined the cast on your left wrist and ran you right hand gingerly along your belly which felt horribly tender. "You're going to have to take care of all three of us when we go home."
"I'm up for the challenge," he promised immediately. "Nat's gonna help. And Bob will, too. And we'll be just fine. Better than fine."
Bradley stood carefully and set down Emma Bean, your tiny daughter, along your right side. Bradley didn't move as she snuggled up against you, rather he bent and let you kiss Levi's cheek.
"We'll be perfect," you supplied, smiling at your son and daughter as you listened to your husband sing.
"You don't know how easy it is to love you."

I couldn't leave Beer Boy hanging in his ugly Grateful Dad tee without letting him know how was having twins beans. And I just know he's going to take the best care of all three of them. Thanks @mak-32 and @beyondthesefourwalls

(if you want to be added write to me)
ʀᴇʙʟᴏɢꜱ ᴀɴᴅ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴇɴᴛꜱ ᴀʀᴇ ᴀᴘᴘʀᴇᴄɪᴀᴛᴇᴅ <3
You and Bucky have been working together at the same bar for a few weeks now. Since he started, you feel safer and sense a growing chemistry between you two. He comes to the bar regularly during your shifts, and when it's empty, you chat and get to know each other better. However, you can tell there's something he's not sharing with you.
You're opening the door to prepare the bar for the day when the man who occupies your thoughts appears behind you.
“Good morning, Y/N,” he says, and you wave back with a smile.
You enter and clean the floor, arrange the tables, and flip the sign to “open" together. Bucky takes his usual spot at the counter while you dry the remaining glasses.
“You should ask for a raise for all the work you do,” you say, chuckling. He helps you open in the morning, serves when it's too busy in the afternoon, and at night, he does his job as the bar’s bodyguard.
"I wouldn't call it work since I get to spend time with a pretty girl," he replies, making you blush and giggle, thinking he's joking. But he’s never been more serious. Your heartbeat speeds up, and he smiles at your reaction.
"You're cute when you do that," he says, probably deciding to make you faint, and he would have succeeded if an old lady hadn't entered the bar with her little dog. While you serve the lady, he sips the orange juice you prepared for him, watching you work. He finds you incredible. Even though you don't like the job, you're always sweet and nice to the customers, even though most don't deserve your kindness. He considers himself among those who don't deserve it.
The first day he entered the bar was by chance. He was intent on drinking away his memories, forgetting his name for a few hours of peace. But you stopped him, convincing him with your smile. No one had given him such a beautiful, bright smile in years, so he decided to stay. As you moved, he noticed the men's eyes trying to see beyond what was allowed, and he feared they might hurt you. He decided to protect you, hoping to feel like a better person. Your kindness touched his heart with extreme delicacy, and he hopes you never change.
"What are you thinking about?" you ask, seeing him distracted, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Nothing," he replies. "I'll see you this evening. I have to go now, okay?" he adds, and you greet him with one of your smiles—the same one that bewitched him that day.
Today, you have to cover Megan's shift. She has an important appointment, and you'll be working alone this evening. Staying inside the bar all day makes you nervous, but it's not the first time, and now Bucky is here, even though he's gone for now but will be back later.
You've been waiting a long time for him to ask you out on one of your days off, but that moment never comes. There are many times when he seems intent on asking you out but then says, "No, nothing. I'm sorry," and returns to his silence. You asked Megan for advice, but all she could say was, "If he doesn't ask you out, stop talking to him. Don't waste your time chasing someone who doesn't take you right away." You can't understand why; you can tell there's something between you. You see it in the way he looks at you, how he protects you, and the few smiles he offers. Since becoming the bodyguard, he accompanies you home every day, but since that first time, he has never come in again. He makes sure you get inside and then leaves you alone in your apartment with your screaming neighbors.
The rest of the day passes calmly. There aren't many customers, so you find time to continue reading your book and eat something since you missed your lunch break. Bucky shows up just before his night shift starts. He’s dressed as always for his job: a tight black t-shirt and sweatpants, but he has a bouquet of flowers in his hands. When he walks towards you, you smile at him in surprise.
“Here,” he says, almost rudely, to hide his embarrassment. He's not convinced that bringing you flowers was a good idea; it was his friend Sam Wilson who convinced him.
"Thank you," you reply and approach him to kiss him on the cheek.
"You're welcome," he says and walks stiffly towards the door without turning to look at you. You smell the bouquet and smile like a child at his gesture.
“Oh, I forgot,” he says, turning around and pulling a chocolate bar out of his pocket—your favorite chocolate bar. You think you might die.
"Since Megan isn't here and it was her turn to bring the chocolate, I thought it would be nice to get it for you," he says in a hoarse, cold voice, as if he wasn't saying the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you. You don't hold back and decide to hug him, your arms around his neck. He doesn't know how to react but gently places his hands on your back, letting you hold him. As soon as you break away, there is an awkward moment, and you say goodbye and return to your work after dividing the chocolate. You with a smile on your lips and him with slightly red cheeks. 'I should follow Sam's advice more often,' he thinks as he positions himself at the entrance. He tries to keep a serious expression that can induce fear, but he just doesn't have it. Your sweet scent is imprinted on his clothes, and your arms around his neck are well anchored in his memory.
You put the flowers in a vase at the counter. You’ll take them home later, but the night is long, and you don't want them to get ruined. Little by little, the bar fills with the usual men looking for Megan, but it’s just you, and you have to do your best to satisfy your customers. You take all the orders and gradually start serving.
"Hey, little doll, can you give me your number?" a man at the counter asks. You smile warmly and ignore his question, asking if he wants something to drink.
“I would like to drink you,” he whispers, winking. Your smile fades, and you look for a way to make him stop.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not on the menu. What do you need?" you insist. The man reaches his hand toward your face, but you push it away.
“A whore dressed like you shouldn't be resisting so much,” he says, grabbing your wrist tightly. A tear slides down your face. Seeing that no one is trying to help you makes you feel worse, but luckily, Bucky is there. He approaches you and pushes the man away. His gaze is full of hatred, and his hand presses firmly on the man's neck.
"Don't you dare talk like that to a nice, kind girl like her," he warns. The man struggles and frees himself from Bucky's grip, coughing, Bucky's grip having taken his breath away.
"I get it, you want to fuck her. Have fun," he says, punching Bucky in the face. But Bucky has no intention of holding back and takes the man out of the bar.
"I won't call you motherfucker because, for that poor woman, it must be a heavy insult to have a son like you," Bucky says to the man. The cold night air gently caresses the bouncer's hair as he waits for a response. Rather than use his hands for this job, he decided to rely on his sharp tongue.
"Come on, man, you're exaggerating. I wouldn't have done anything more to her than she would want. I know people like her..." he doesn't let him finish the sentence before his good intentions evaporate in the air, and he punches him back, making him fall to the ground.
"You don't know anything about her," he says finally. He goes back inside under everyone's gaze.
You are crying in the kitchen, trying to wash away his touch and words. He comes looking for you, and when he sees you in that state, he hugs you, and you hold onto him.
“Nothing happened, everything is fine,” he whispers. Seeing how that man could insult you in front of everyone without anyone doing anything makes you feel bad. You can't help but think, "What if Bucky hadn't been there?" Bad intentions usually approached Megan; she is the one with more character between the two of you, and she knows how to defend herself better.
You sob in Bucky's arms. Until then, you kept all the unsolicited comments, insults, and everything else inside, casting everything away. Now you just feel like crap. You hate your body being so on display, and you hate everyone who wants to have fun with you.
“Let's get back to work and finish this shift, okay?” Bucky asks, taking your face in his large hands. His warm right hand dries your tears, and his cold left hand tries to ease your pain.
"I'll stay next to you," he whispers, giving you a tender kiss on the tip of your nose. A simple gesture but one that contains all the affection that Bucky has for you.
You go back inside the bar, and some girls approach you to apologize for not having done anything. They didn't think his advances would bother you. Your smile lights up your face again, and you appear grateful for their attention. While you prepare the drinks, Bucky is behind you; while you serve them, he is next to you; and while you are closing the place, cleaning and everything, he is still there with you. As soon as you're done, you go behind the counter, and he's sitting in the place he sat the first time you saw each other, which continues to be his permanent place.
"Can I place an order?" he asks softly as you take the flowers back.
"Of course! Tell me everything," you answer softly.
"Can I ask you on a date?" he asks, his voice soft yet hopeful. You've never been happier. You accept without thinking twice and as you pick up your bag to leave, he tells you he'll pick you up on Saturday. He knows that's your day off.
He walks you home as always, but this time, you ask him to come in so you can treat the wounds from the punch. Your delicate touch on his skin makes every feeling of pain disappear. As soon as his wounds are treated, he leaves, but not before planting a soft kiss on your forehead.
"Goodnight pretty girl," he tells you later.
You think you might be falling in love with this man.

"Good morning guests!"
"Good morning, Lana!"
The chorus of uncharacteristically chipper voices ring out from the beds around you, usually to monotonous and bleak in stark contrast to the early morning sun streaming in through the large windows.
"Luckily for you, this is the last morning you'll have to wake up to the sound of my voice," she jokes, earning a couple chuckles from the group. Limbs stretch from beneath blankets all around, and you slowly make an appearance as you untangle yourself from Lucien's grasp.
"Aw, Lana, I was just getting used to it!" Cassian chides, and Lana's lights flicker.
"No need to worry, Cassian -- I'm sure if things with Nesta don't work out, I'll be seeing you back here next season." This earns him a few sidelong glances and guffaws from his friends.
"Damn Lana... you're ruthless today!"
"I am -- I've got a big decision to make," she continues. "As it is the last day of the retreat, and many of you have come such a long way from where you were when you first arrived, I am sure I'll find difficulty in choosing a winner for the prize fund, which currently sits at $110,000." Hushed voices flicker between beds, but Lana continues nonetheless.
"In addition to the winner being announced, you may remember that those in couples get an extra treat today; their final dates," she reminds. You blush as you glance beside you and catch Lucien's gaze, his stare already fized on you. A small smile blooms on his lips when he meets your eye.
"So -- everyone get ready. Couples, I'll see you on the dock in one hour; everyone else, please enjoy your last day at the retreat to spend as you please." Her lights dim, and a few members mutter their thanks before blankets are thrown back in haste and guests begin making way for the showers and dressing rooms.
"I wonder what kind of date we'll get?" Lucien's deep morning voice says, and you feel the flicker of heat between your thighs. His gaze still searches every inch of you, taking in every strand of hair and every inch of skin like its the last time he'd see you.
"I'm not sure," you say, shifting beneath the blanket. His hand finds your waist, tugging you close so he can wrap his arms around you again.
"Luciennn," you groan, his signature earthy aroms immediately infultrating your senses (just the way you like). "I need to get ready-"
"Well, I need five more minutes to snuggle you," he says, resting his chin atop your head. You bury your face into his bare chest, reveling in the feel of his skin against your cheek. You hated to admit it, but you needed those five minutes just as much.
"Five minutes," you agree.
・゚:* ✧・゚: *
"I knew Lana was bougie -- but to get us each a yacht?"
Helion's teasing remark was acknowledged with a few nods, most of the guests staring out at the blue ocean in awe. He couldn't be more correct; at the end of the dock, five gleaming white yachts madetheir way to the shore. As the first one approached, the Captain appeared from the lower deck and set the boat at an idle speed.
"One ship for guests, Cassian and, Nesta!" He called. Nesta glanced sidelong at you, and you could only offer her a shrug before her giddy counterpart took off toward the ship. She huffed in amusement, following gracefully behind.
"Captain Wheathers," he introduced, shaking Cassian's hand. "I'll be taking the both of you out today -- any questions please feel free to ask." Cassian bounces from foot to foot with excitement.
"Awesome, man! Hey, nice toy you got here. Real clean," he muses. You can practically feel Nesta's eyes roll, and you can't help the small chuckle you let out. As they disembark, the group waves them off and the next boat pulls in.
"Guests Rhysand and Feyre, please!"
"Ooh! That's, us, Rhys!" Feyre squeals. Her excitement makes you smile, a sentiment Rhysand seems to share as she giddily grabs his hand and steps toward the edge of the dock. Your heart swells as he pulls her close, holding her for balance as she takes a wobbly step onto the ship.
"I wonder when it'll be our turn," Lucien purrs, his fingers tracing along the curve of your waist. You'd opted for your white bikini today (Lucien's pick, actually) and sheer skirt cover up -- his touch only sent goosebumps over your bare skin.
"Soon, I'm sure of it-"
"Lucien Vanserra, and Y/N Y/L/N, please?"
You hadn't realized Feyre and Rhys had left, let alone another boat had arrived. Reguardless, Lucien's fingers find yours, threading through in the same way you've come to find familiar by now, and you both step forward to the end of the dock.
・゚:* ✧・゚: *
"The ride should be short -- maybe, fifteen or twenty minutes at this speed before we get to the designated spot," Captain Morgan explains.
"But, while we ride, please -- feel free to move about, there are drinks, snacks, food, water... I believe they have the picnic lunches in there for you when we make the stop, though." He winks.
"Thank you, sir!" Lucien says politely, bracing his hands on the railing near where the Captain is navigating the boat. He gives him a polite nod back in response.
You decide to make yourself comfortable on one of the couches, the plush seat more inviting than standing and balancing against the crashing waves the boat is cutting through. Lucien doesn't seem to mind, still glued to the railing as he peers out at the line where the sky meets the sea.
Sitting back, you take in the view yourself. You really could not have gotten luckier. Truly... the male before you, radiant in all his glory, shining as though he is the sun himself. Never would you have dreamt of meeting someone so special, so caring -- Hell, all the males you'd been with before only care about themselves, or what Avenue they live on, or only seemed to talk too much about the damned stock market.
Lucien though... Gods. He truly was made perfectly. The way his amber hair flowed against his gorgeously tan skin, his perfectly toned arms and his lean torso -- I mean, he was tall, his legs went on for miles, and he was talented in so many ways, other than being so smart, so funny, so caring about how others felt-
"We have arrived!"
You blinked, practically shaking your head to come out of your stupor. The soft click of the keys as the Captain shuts off the engine has your gaze wandering, looking out at the vast open ocean -- no dock, no shoreline in sight. Just wide open blue... and two, multicolored eyes looking back at you.
"Too busy checking me out to notice we parked?" Lucien chuckles, stalking over to where you're seated. Your cheeks flush, but you know it's true.
"No," you scoff. "I wasn't... doing that. I was, distracted. By... something else." He takes a seat next to you, leaning in close as his gaze flickers to the top of your bikini bra.
"I was a little distracted too, every time we went over a wave," he whispers lowly. Your breath catches in your throat, the heated feeling between your legs returning from earlier this morning.
The sound of an appoaching engine cuts the moment short, and Lucien leans back, crossing his arms over his broad chest as he smirks at your flushed expression. "Hey, I think it was cute that you were lookin' at me anyway." He winks. You roll your eyes.
"Lucien, I said I wasn't-"
"Alright, so -- the staff ship is here to pick me up, I just wanted to go over a few things with you guys before I headed out," Captain Morgan explains. You straighten, and he points toward the water below.
"We'll be back at the villa for around two hours," he checks his watch. "It's eleven now, so around one p.m. we should be making rounds to come back and pick everyone up to head back for the evening," he explains. He then motions to the lower cabin, pointing out safety supplies, the emergency phone, medical kit, and other necessities. Then he gets to the upper deck.
"Finally -- you have access to the upper deck. There is food and drinks provided should you choose to have those, but again please use caution when consuming alcohol. Also, swimming... of course, you can swim, this is the ocean. Please, use, caution, and always remember we are just a phone call away." He ends with a smile.
"Thank you so much-" Lucien starts as the Captain turns to exit, but he quickly turns back to us before departing.
"Oh! Almost forgot. The other boats are within driving distance, but not necessarily swimming or seeing eye distance. So, if you need anything, it is best to just use the phone." He gestures to the emergency phone again before bracing his hands on the exit ladder. "I also do want to point out that you are out in the open, and the boats are equipped with cameras so... maybe, uh... keep that in mind, too." He chuckles, meeting Lucien's eye and earning a laugh from him too. You could not feel anymore embarassed, but thankfully the man starts to climb down, making way for the awaiting deck full of other crew members.
"Have a good time!" He calls, and the boat speeds off, leaving the two of you alone. In the middle of the ocean. On a single yacht.
All to yourselves.
In that moment, your stomach rumbles, and before you can cough or try to cover it up, Lucien lets out a joyful laugh. His contagious Colgate smile only makes you humor the situation, and he dramatically motions toward the stairs leading up toward the upper deck.
"Shall we, my hungry lady?"
That earns him a smack on the shoulder -- but, the stairs you ascend.
・゚:* ✧・゚: *
The calming sound of the ocean around you only made the moment more perfect. That compiled with the warmth from the midday sun, the feel of the plush towel beneath you, and the burst of juicy raspberry on your tongue -- it was intoxicating, a feeling you almost wished would never end.
And to top it all off, you got to share it all with the most wonderful male you'd ever met.
"So, what do you think you'll miss most about this place when we leave?" He asks, casually popping a grape in his mouth before looking up at you.
You, is your first thought as you gaze down at him, his casual position on the towel propped up on his forearm. You reach for a cheese cube, trying to come up with an answer that sounds less clingy.
"Well... I mean, this has felt like such a vacation, it's beautiful here," you say, peering out at the water. You sit with your ankles crossed, leaned onto one hip as one of your hands lays flat on the deck floor.
"It is beautiful here," he agrees. "I think you are beautiful, Y/N." Your gaze returns, and you watch as a slow smile creeps onto his face. You chuckle, shaking your head at his praise.
"Well, thank you." You say, reaching for your water bottle and sipping the rest of it. "I think you're quite handsome yourself."
"Ahh, really?" His hand clutches his heart in faux-surprise as he makes to stand, extending his hand to you. "I'll take it for you."
You look up at him, shielding your eyes in the blinding sun. "Oh, are you sure? I mean, I can-"
"Please. Allow me." He gently takes your empty bottle, turning to head down the stairs. You sigh, taking in the air around you again. You need to tell him, today. More than ever, you know how you feel, and leaving this place without him would be the worst heartbreak you'd ever felt -- like part of you would be without, somewhere in the world, and you don't know if you'd be able to handle that.
You're sure of it.
In minutes he's back... this time, without a shirt. He is balancing two fresh waters in one hand and two sparkling glasses of champagne in the other. He sets them before you with ease, settling down on the other side of the towel with a smile.
"I found the champagne," he says, brows raised as he gestures to the glasses. You grin, taking one and handing the other to him.
"I see that," You say. "But, you forgot your shirt."
He laughs and he takes the stem from you. "Hey, I got hot!" He holds out the rim for a toast. "Surely, you're not complaining...?" You shake your head slowly, and he winks at you.
"What should we toast to?" He asks, and you take in a breath.
"Hmm... our last day here, in paradise. We made it, baby!" You smile, and he laughs.
"We made it, baby! Me and sticky fingers, on a yacht, on our last day in paradise! Cheers to that." He clinks his glass with yours, and you take a long sip, the bubbles tingling your throat as you swallow it. Momentary sadness washes over you, anxiety over the words you know are to come, how he would respond. You set down your glass.
"What... do you think you'll miss most?" You ask. Lucien's brows raise, and he sets down his flute as well. He chews the inside of his lip, contemplating for a moment before he settles on an answer.
"Well, I was going to try to come up with a simple answer, or one that didn't come off so, attached, but," he fumbles. "To be honest, I think what I'm going to miss the most is you, Y/N."
A knot begins to form in your throat. A few beats of silence pass before you speak.
"Maybe... maybe, you don't have to." Your gaze lifts from the towel, his hopeful eyes meeting yours. You stare at eachother for what feels like eternity, the silence between you filled with a hundred unspoken words.
"Lucien," you whisper, your voice coming out shakier than you like. "I... I don't want to leave here without you." His eyes widen, and your heartbeat quickens.
"I don't want to not be around you," you say, an ounce of confidence behind your words this time. "I... I want to, take you to my favorite places. And, I want to, show you the town I grew up in, and-" you pause, the lump in your throat growing so tight you feel like you may not breathe. "I want you to be in all of the memories I still haven't made yet, Lucien. I- I don't think, I could make them, with someone, else." You say quietly. When you look to him again, he blinks back at you, so locked in on what you're admitting that he'd leaned closer and physically scooted across the towel to sit nearer.
"Lucien, say something, please-"
"I love you, Y/N." He interrupts, the words coming out crystal clear. His hands take yours, his gaze searching your expression for any sign of doubt at his monumental confession.
"Oh my Gods, Y/N, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have just dropped that on you like that, I-"
You don't give him a chance to answer, pulling him in and crashing your lips onto his in the most passionate kiss the two of you had shared yet. He immediately gave in, his mouth moving in time with yours as his hands guided your fingers to brace against his shoulders before his own snaked around your waist. He pulled you onto his lap, his hands caressing every inch of skin across your back and waist as you continued pressing your lips against his with fervor, relishing in the taste of the man that you could admit you loved.
Only pulling back a few inches, Lucien's brow narrowed slightly at the lack of mouth-to-mouth contact -- but you only smiled down at him as your hands held the sides of his face.
"I love you too," you said, and watched as his breath quickened in realization before his mouth was on yours once again. You weren't sure if he even registered that the two of you recieved your green light, but to you, that wasn't what mattered the most anyway.
・゚:* ✧・゚: *
You pressed a soft kiss to Lucien's cheek as you lay beside him, basking in the afternoon sun. After your heartleft confession (and rather heated makeout session to follow), you'd both jumped in the ocean and swam for a bit before growing tired and ending up on the deck once more, lying upon the towels in the sun.
"Do you feel different since you got here?" Lucien asks. You sit up, the sun growing a bit too warm on your face as you peer down at him. He shields his eyes from the rays so he can look up at you.
"Hmm..." You consider. "I suppose I am different in some ways, I guess. I mean, not who I am really, but I feel like I am, complete, in a way. I feel better, now. Maybe, because I met you." Your own words send a thrill through you, knowing Lucien really could be the one, and he grins up at you, reaching to tuck a stray strand of damp hair behind your ear.
"I know I've changed," he says, dropping his hand. "Not the same country kid from Carolina that walked in here a few months ago, thats for sure." He shrugs.
Oh right. That.
"About that," you bite your lip, twiddling with your fingers. Lucien registers the silence, adjusting to a sitting positon to face you fully.
"What is it?" He asks, his fingers lightly taking yours to stop you from fidgeting.
"I... Lucien, what do we... where do we go? From here?" You ask, and he chuckles.
"What, was the 'I love you' not indication enough?"
"No, I just mean, like... tomorrow, after Lana announces the winner, and we all get on planes," sadness swells in your chest. "I'll board mine to New York, and... well, you'll get on a flight to-"
"Hey, hey." He stops you, his hands cupping your face as he pulls you close to him. You can feel your emotions bubbling inside you, threatening to bubble over with every tender brush of his thumb across your cheek. "I've been honest with you since we met, Y/N. Don't think that changes now," he kisses the crown of your head, and meets your gaze once more. "Especially, now." You offer a sad smile, shaking your head slightly.
"Lucien... I'm not saying I'm unwilling to try, but you know how often long-distance relationships actually work out, I-"
"Who said anything about distance?" His brows form a flat line on his forehead. You lean back an inch to look up at him, not quite understanding.
"Lucien-"
"Y/N, I'll move to New York with you." He says, then looks side to side. "I mean, if that's what you want, and it's not too invasive, I mean."
You shake your head, not quite believing your ears. "Lucien... I... you can't just, uproot your whole life, I mean," you stutter. "You... your real estate business, your job, I mean," He kisses your cheek.
"Sweetheart, do you know how big I could go with real estate in New York?" He chuckles, and you continue your wide-eyed gaze at him. "Besides, I already told you my family is from all-over. I don't have real 'roots' where I'm at now anyways." He shrugs as though the two of you were discussing flavors of cereal.
You swallow hard, thinking of this very big, very new change that was very quickly becoming your new reality. Lucien, moving all the way to New York to be with you. Tears pricked the corners of your eyes, and you looked up at his grinning face once more.
"What if you don't like it there?" You ask, and he barks out a laugh. His hands snake around your waist, pulling you to sit as close as possible to him to the point where mere inches separeted the two of you.
"I'd be happy in any city, as long as you're there with me, sticky fingers." You loose the battle of holding back the tears, and they begin freefalling down your cheeks. He doesn't hesitate to wipe them away, gently running his fingers through your hair and pressing soft kisses atop your head while you work through your overwhelming emotion.
Wrapping your arms around him, you snuggle close, inhaling as much of him as you can. If you could, you'd stay like this forever -- luckily, you would rest easy knowing you'd leave Lana's retreat tomorrow with Lucien, not only as an official couple, but quite literally together. A simple helping hand and playful conversation is what led to this beautiful thing the two of you had created; and now, you had forever to look forward to.
"I love you," you whispered against his skin, as his arms only hugged you tighter.
・゚:* ✧・゚: *
The group buzzed with anticipation the next morning as everyone sat in the cabana awaiting Lana's arrival. The rest of yesterday went off without a hitch -- everyone talked about their dates, many green lights were once again given, and the singles in the group were able to use their free time to get in one last day at the villa to do as they pleased.
This morning, though, the entire property was utter chaos; packing, running around, items being stuffed into suitcases, and so many emootional exchanges were all happening at once as the gravity of what was happening today seemed to finally settle on many of the group members.
Nonetheless, everyone was here now at the cabana. 11 a.m. sharp, just as Lana requested last night. No wake up call this morning, but you hadn't minded; what you thought would be your last night in a bed with Lucien turned out to be just another night. You could still remember the feeling of waking up this morning and imagining rolling over in your own bed, but finding him next to you instead of the empty sheets.
"Good morning, everyone." Lana greets, the cone appearing from beneath the fire pit.
"Good morning, Lana!" Everyone responds.
"Well, we have arrived at the final day of our retreat, haven't we?" She says, and a few girls make sad faces. "I always hate goodbyes -- but, I am pleased with how far many of you have come since you've arrived here a few short months ago. You've all done well, truly -- give yourselves a hand!"
The group claps, a few of the guys cheering before Lana lights up again.
"Alright, now let's settle. I know you've all got planes to catch." She pauses. "What always makes goodbyes a bit easier for me, is of course, a going-away gift, right?" She chuckles, and a few people agree.
"As you all know, I have a gift of my own -- my hefty little prize fund that I told you about all those months ago. Not so hefty now, but, still quite the chunk of change as it is $110,000." She earns a few cheers for this before she continues.
"Some seasons, I have guests vote for a winner -- other times, I choose one myself." She explains. "However, this go around, I've seen impeccable growth in two people who just so happen to be in an established relationship, and I'd like to award this prize to them both."
This certainly earns her some feedback. Luciens fingers squeeze your knee, and you look to him eagerly.
"So, without further adeu; this season, I'd like to give the Finale Prize to the couple..." she pauses, and everyone glances around to one another.
"... Lucien and Y/N!"
Immediately, you jump up, Lucien rising beside you as cheers erupt from the others. He scoops you in his arms, pulling you into a twirl as he hold you close to his chest. The entire group applauds, cheering louder as confetti and balloons are released above the cabana in celebration. When he finally sets you down, you stare up at him in excitement, your smile bright to mirror his own.
"We won it, baby!" He says, his hands holding you close aorund your waist.
"We won it!" You echo, and in that moment any and all rules are forgotten as he pulls you in for a kiss. His lips melt against yours, his touch full of love and pure adoration for the woman he is with; and you couldn't help but feel as though everything, in that moment, was right in your little world.
When he pulls back, he rests his forehead against yours. You can't help but smile, still reeling from everything happening around you.
"Let's go home, city girl." He says, pressing a quick kiss to the tip of your nose before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you close. You rest your cheek against the white cotton of his shirt, the end of a strand of his hair tickling your cheek.
"Let's go home."

5 Years Later
"Y/N, almost done in there?"
You huff, shoving the mascara wand back into the tube and pumping it a few times before yanking it back out again. You lean forward, mere inches from the mirror as you hold the end of the wand near your lashes.
"Yeeeah," you call out, so focused on coating every lash with the black makeup that you don't hear the soft knock on the door behind you. Let alone the telltale squeak of the hinge as it slowly opens.
"Sweetheart, Rhys texted me ten minutes ago saying they were pulling up-" Lucien's voice halts as he steps further into the small room, his eyes practically undressing you as you watch through the mirror.
"Sorry, I'm almost done-"
"Oh... no, take your time, baby." He steps close as you cap your makeup, pinning you to the counter from behind. You suck in a breath, meeting his hungry gaze through the glass as he hyperfixates on the low-cut neckline in the reflection.
"I'm happy to wait... riiiiight here." His hand slides along your waist, tracing every ridge and line of the skin-tight fabric. You smirk, the feeling of him pressed against you only growing harder. "This new?" He asks.
You smirk, watching his gaze dip lower. "You like it?"
He scoffs, pressing his chest to your back and bending you more over the counter. His breath is warm as it fans across the skin beneath your ear.
"I'd like it better, off." He growls, already playing with the little straps at your shoulders. "Gods, so pretty Y/N... always making me go crazy," he mumbles. You admit, the praise is nice, but -- you do have the Too Hot To Handle 5 Year Anniversary Dinner to get to.
"Fuck," he utters, kissing the top of your shoulder as his hands palm your ass. "You look so good..." He kisses the side of your neck, his hands grabbing at your waist. "Could just marry you right now."
You twist beneath him, turning to face him in an attempt to not get any more ideas. Chuckling, you hold up your left hand between the two of you.
"Eight months. Only eight more months, and then you can call me Mrs. Vanserra, alright?" The diamond glitters in the light, twinkling as he takes your fingers in his. He brings your knucles to his lips, kissing softly. Its only a moment before his eyes wander, shifting with the movement of every breath you take.
"Lucien -- dinner, remember?" You remind, but his eyes are glued to your cleavage. He shamelessly drags his hands up your sides, cupping your breasts in his palms and giving you a light squeeze before meeting your gaze again.
"I don't remember us having any plans, actually," he smirks, and you give him a knowing look. He drops his hands to your waist instead, effortlessly picking you up and sitting you on the counter so he can stand between your parted knees.
"Lucien, c'mon we're..." he leans in, his lips kissing along your collarbone softly.
"...so, so late." You gasp when he nips at the skin of your throat, his tongue rolling over the spot after. He's come to learn this is one of the things he can do to really get you going... and boy does he use it to his advantage.
That gasp turns into a full-on moan as his fingers dig into the meat of your ass through your dress, pressing your surely soaked panties to his strained cock through his pants. He makes his way up your neck, over your jaw, and to your lips before you begin moving involuntarily against him. Your mind wanders to the various times you'd been in this very bathroom the two of you had shared for years, all the ways he'd taken you on this very counter before.
Making you watch your reflection in the mirror as he pounded relentlessly into you from the back.
Kneeling before you as you held your knees apart, his tongue working your tight clit as you sat on the cool countertop.
Gods-
"Babe-" You pulled back, your eyes barely opening as he sucked in a breath of air before you. "Babe, we're so late, we really gotta go."
He sighs, leaning back further as your eyes widen. You can't help but giggle at the rosy red smudged across his lips and under his nose. He grimaces, his thumb swiping at the corner of your mouth.
"I might've messed up your lipstick a lil'," he confesses, his cheeks flushing a cute shade of pink. You grin, pressing a quick kiss to his lips before hopping off the counter and adjusting your dress.
"You can mess it up all you want... after, we go to dinner."
In minutes, he's lipstick-free and you're ready to walk out the door to meet your friends you hadn't seen for five years -- and boy could you not wait to catch up.
"Ready?" Lucien helps you into your coat, opening the front door of your shared high-rise and extending a hand to you. Peering at you is the same set of heterochrome irises you'd fallen for five years ago; the same set that belonged to the man you'd get to tell your friends tonight, you were set to marry.
"I'm ready."

Note
in response to last ask:
Ye I read that one. It was great (made me cry /pos)!! I was wondering if you mayhaps would do an extended fic of Sebastian comfort with it? If not, no pressure :)
Hope you have a good day!! :D
I'm here for you
Sebastian x reader who hasn't eaten enough
Tw: unhealthy eating habits / un-named eating disorder. If you struggle with similar topics please reach out to someone like a family member, friend, or doctor. Things will be okay, and help is available.
It was time for breakfast. You had woken up right on time, and began to make scrambled eggs and pancakes. You knew how to make them exactly how Sebastian wanted. So once it was done, you slowly woke him up and got him to the table.
..Which was when he noticed your plate was far more empty than his. Sebastian didn't eat much compared to the average guy, but it was enough for him. However, you were far more active, and generally ate more than what was on your plate.
"You feeling alright?" He questioned. "I know it's not my place to comment, but it feels like you've been eating less and less recently. It's concerning.." Sebastian looks straight at you, unsure if this is how he should be asking.
"Yes!" You shoot a false smile a him, "just, uh, haven't been that hungry! Plus I snacked as I was making it haha. So actually, I think I should get to work."
You abruptly stood up, causing the table to shift. The water you had poured came dangerously close to spilling over, but settled down as you walked away.
You knew you needed to eat, but something about it just felt *wrong*. Yes, you felt hungry, but it wasn't as bad as it used to be. It felt numb-er than before. The sting no longer a stab, but a prickle. You knew you shouldn't act like this. You knew this wasn't good in the long run. But how can you stop?
It had been nearly 3 days since you last had a proper meal. You were starting to run out of excuses to Sebastian, but somehow managed to find new reasons every time. You ate while making it! You had lunch with your friends! You ate before he woke up. You'll just eat later. Each excuse in and out of the book.
But now he was noticing. Why couldn't he just leave it alone? You had finished your work today, and was sitting on the couch. Sebastian came to cuddle next to you, which had become the norm after getting married.
"Babe?" He called up from your lap. You merely hummed in response, waiting for him to continue. "Babe I think we should talk about this morning"
And you tensed up again. "I told you earlier, I ate while making the food! And I just haven't been hungry recently."
Sebastian shifted to sitting up. "Yes, okay. But that doesn't explain how for the last 3 days you haven't eaten a single thing. Your friends said you never even came over when you said you had lunch with them! They said that they saw you heading up to the mines."
He sighed and turned to look you dead in the eyes. He picked up your hands as he spoke, "I'm not mad at you. Sweetheart, I just want to know you're okay. You have to eat."
"Sebastian I know what I'm doing. I've got things under control it's fine." You tried to shake his hands off but he only held onto you tighter.
"My love you clearly don't. It isn't fine. Just look at your hands!" You hadn't noticed, but the lack of proper sustience was weighing on you. Your hands had a shake to them. "I just need you to tell me what's wrong, or how I can help. I'm here for you. but I can't do anything if you don't tell me things."
You sighed. "Sebastian it's okay."
"No it's not okay and we are going in a circle now!" He shouted at you. "Repeating our points will get us no where so either you tell me what's going on or I'll bring Harvey into this."
God that was the last thing you wanted. You didn't want to bring a doctor into this. Through shaky breaths you started, "fine... fine."
Sebastian calmed himself and squeezed your hands. "Okay, thank you."
"This is just the one thing I have. It's not the first time it's happened. I just.." You huffed, "Why is this so hard!! It shouldn't be this hard to talk about it!"
"Hey shh shhh, it's okay keep going." Sebastian waited patiently before you began again.
"I've been really stressed recently? It's very overwhelming to go from someone at a terrible desk job hating themselves to go to a new farmer in an extremely tight knit community. It's weird. Everything is going so much better, where it feels like I'm just waiting for it to fall apart. So I started freaking out! I can't control when people will leave. When my life will change again. But I can control this. It started.. a while ago. Just skipping breakfast or lunch every once in a while. But recently I've just been. Eating nothing??? And it doesn't even feel bad. And that's the problem! I know it should but I just can't seem to stop. I know I need to eat. I know! And I was trying so hard to keep it under control but now you know and I'm freaking out and Sebastian I think I need help."
The more you spoke the faster you got. But once you were done you felt yourself be pulled into a tight hug.
"Alright. There you go shhh it's okay" Tears started to pool in your eyes, slipping down to the end of your face. "It's okay, I'm here for you. I can take over food things for a while. Okay?" He rubbed circles into your back as he spoke. "You don't have to think about it, I'll take care of it. After a while, we can try having you make yourself food again. But right now I need to just make sure you are eating. Okay?"
"Okay.." You tried to stop crying but the tears just kept coming. "I'm sorry Sebastian."
"Shh don't apologize. I'm sorry I yelled earlier."
"So you can apologize but now me?" You laughed through the tears.
He lightly smacked the back of your head, "shut up I was trying to be nice."
"..thank you."
"Of course."
Masterlist
An* so uh I kinda went off the rails a bit in there but the overall theme of the request stayed the same- sorry it took so long, but I hope you liked it!!! And I hope you have a good day too <3

Becoming Mrs. Potter | James Potter x Reader
Tumblr media
Trying to be quiet so as to not wake up his friends, especially Sirius as he can be very grumpy if woken up, he grabs his uniform and robe and goes into their shared bathroom.
After taking a quick shower he gets dressed and brushes his teeth. With one last look in the mirror he ruffles up his hair and leaves the bathroom.
"I was wondering where you were." Remus says from his bed while looking up from the book he was reading. "Hey Moony. Just got up early today for once." James shrugs with a coy smile.
"Yes. The James Potter just happened to get up early for once in his life." Remus playfully taunts. "Hey hey now. Today's a special day which requires special exceptions." He eyes James curious to what he meant. Not saying anymore he heads to their door calling out one last sentence before leaving their shared dorm. "If all goes well you'll know by the end of tonight my dear Moony."
As James is sitting in the Great Hall eating breakfast the others eventually join him not too long after. As all of them sat and ate they all joked about random things and tried to plan out their next prank on the school. James's eyes quickly darted over when a certain female walked into the Great Hall finding herself a seat among her group of friends. He watched as she quickly added food to her plate while laughing at something it looked like Marlene said.
He places his head atop of his hand and continues to stare at the girl he's fallen head over heels for. "Prongs? Earth to Prongs." James shook his head and diverted his attention to Sirius. "What's up?" He asks with a lopsided grin. "What's up with you today mate?" Remus sighs and butts in. "Don't bother, he won't tell anyone until later tonight apparently." He only grins at the boys as they finish eating and head off to their first class of the day.
When stepping into the potions classroom he noticed that they were the first ones to get to class. All four of the boys decided to continue thinking of new prank ideas until more people showed up and they had to go sit in their assigned seats.
James never liked being separated from the boys in class but this was the one exception since he was assigned to sit next to (Y/N) (L/N). They've actually become quite close throughout the years of being sat together in potions. And this was the perfect opportunity to slide her a note explaining that he wanted to meet her in the astronomy tower after dinner.
He took out a piece of parchment and wrote a simple note before signing his name and folding it up. Now all he had to do was wait until she sat down which was easier said than done for the anxious boy. He gently tapped his fingers against the wooden desk trying not to attract attention from the sound.
Finally, she pulled out the chair and sat down exhaling and he ruffled up his hair once more. She turns her head and smiles at him. "Hello James." He puts on a huge smile and greets her back. He stared at her for a moment taking in all of her features before snapping out of it and sliding the folded up parchment in her direction. She eyes him quizzically before unfolding it and reading the words written down.
He starts up his tapping once more trying to read the expression on her face as her eyes scan the parchment. When she finishes reading she looks up at him once more and nods her head. "I'm free after dinner so I'm good with meeting up." He lets out a breath of air he didn't know he was holding in and smiles at her. "I am curious why you can't just talk to me now though." She ponders mostly to herself. He puts a finger up to his lips and replies "it's a secret my love." This causes the girl to roll her eyes and try to suppress a grin. "Alright lover boy. I'll leave you to your secrets until we meet up."
The rest of the day felt like it was dragging on to the Potter boy. He has always been quite impatient when it came to waiting for something he was excited for or even something important.
As James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all walked to the Great Hall for dinner they spotted (Y/N) and her friends and decided to sit with them.
Alice and Frank were sitting together while Mary, Dorcas, and Lily were next to them. The boys sat on the other side of the long table with (Y/N) and Marlene. James tried to sit next to (Y/N) but Remus beat him to it as she was sitting at the edge of the table and only had one spot next to her.
As they filled their plates and ate until they were stuffed they all joked the whole time and even planned to all go to Hogsmeade sometime in the upcoming week. James excused himself a few minutes before dinner officially ended so he could get to the astronomy tower and calm his nerves.
As he began to walk his mind started to race. He hasn't been nervous about anything in a long time. He was known as the cocky and confident bloke around Hogwarts and he lived up to it pretty well. However, it mattered to him how this girl was going to respond to something he brought up five years ago. Merlin, he was worried she forgot and would treat him like he was only trying to play with her emotions.
Getting up the final steps he walks to the balcony's railing and leans his body against it as he stares up at the moon shining onto the lake below. He fluffs up his hair for the millionth time today as he hears footsteps approaching.
Turning around he's greeted with a small smile on the girl's face as the moon reflects onto her. She walks up to the stunned boy as they both face the sky. She nudges her shoulder onto his forearm as she speaks up. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" He gulps then takes a deep breath.
"I'm just keeping you to your promise love." She raises her eyebrow to him and places her chin on her hand. "What did I promise the Great James Potter?" He blushes and debates whether he should tell her or just make something up. After a moment he decides he's in too far to back out now and just tells her. "Don't you remember what you promised me back in year two? I remember it quite vividly." He grins while adding, "but you didn't expect me to remember huh?"
(Y/N) stands up straighter trying to rack her brain about what he's talking about. She almost speaks up again saying she really doesn't remember until her eyes widen a bit. James perks up at a reaction from her and hopes she finally remembered.
"If I ask you to marry me again five years from this exact day will you?" James asked the girl with a large grin on his face.
"Yes Potter. I suppose I will." She chuckles lightly. "I doubt you'll remember anyway." As she says this she smirks up at the boy and starts to walk back in the castle.
"You promise (Y/N)?" He calls out to her. "I promise lover boy." She responds without turning around.
After revisiting the memory she turns to the boy gawking at him. "James, that was five years ago! You honestly can't expect us to keep our promise can you?" All he does is grin down at the bewildered girl causing her to blush. "For Merlin's sake we were twelve." She sighs and looks up at James putting on his best puppy dog eyes.
(Y/N) eventually cracks and starts to laugh at the situation. "You should at least take me on a date before you propose you know." That comment was all he needed to hear as he pulled her into his arms. She laughs even more as she cups his face into her hands and kisses him on the forehead. "You're right. I really didn't expect you to remember that." James looks down at her and responds. "How could I ever forget proposing to my future girlfriend." (Y/N) grins up at him and embraces the Potter boy.
As the pair walked through the portrait and into the commonroom with their hands intertwined they were stopped by curious looks from their combined friend groups. (Y/N) sheepishly smiles as James raises their hands up like he does every time he and his team wins the quidditch cup.
The boys hoot and holler as the girls give each other knowing looks while giggling. James pulls (Y/N) into his side and whispers into her ear causing her to blush. "I guess you're one step closer to becoming Mrs. Potter."

Bookworm Abby x Fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: smut, 18+ obviously,minors + ageless blogs please for both of us don’t interact, cockwarming, slight degradation, slight praise
I’m pretty bad with warnings I’m sorry I kinda forget what I wrote. I’m so sorry, I really did mean to post this sooner I was working on this through the week end and got distracted.
Tumblr media
Abby was blessed with broad hands. I was like, Holy shit, she has big motherfucking hands when I first saw her.
Abby is perfect in every way. She's kind, soft, caring, strong (really fucking strong), and extremely intelligent. She obviously likes reading. She has a wide range of novels on her shelves, from romance to action. She has read everything from fiction to nonfiction and even some poetry books.
It's around 4 p.m., and Abby is in the lounging area with a book in her hands (I also imagine she wears reading glasses) and her nose buried in deep. The cover depicts a girl with fire behind her, but who cares? You simply want Abby to put her book down and pay attention to you. After classes, and a long day at work. All you need is Abby to relieve the stress that's been turning your hair gray, but she's reading, and you know she can't be bothered when she has a book. So, you sit next to her, your head on her shoulder, and trace your fingers over her biceps, forming hearts, circles, and stars. “What are you reading abs?”
“Daylight," her tone is calm and dull; she didn't even look up while speaking; she was way too concentrated on her book. Most of the time, when you're desperate, you can get yourself off, but today was different. You really wanted Abby's hands—her massive fingers pounding into you—never mind that.
"What's it all about?" Looking down the pages, you lean in closer.
"Tell you later, Kay."
"Abby!" You whined, hoping that your neediness would distract her. "Put down your book and look at me!" If she loved you, she'd put the book down straight away. She sighed and shifted her gaze to you. "Abby, I need you." You looked down, toying with the end of your shirt, a little embarrassed by your previous sentence.
"Will you also need me after I finish this?"
"Yeah but-"
"You can wait then."
"That's not fair, Abs. I'm just-" You groan from sexual frustration as well as the frustration of not knowing what words to get out. You're sick of this bullshit. You discard your pants and underwear, placing yourself on Abby's hand and moving her fingers to where you need them. Her palm was warm and gentle. Her fingers were perfectly positioned, so when you grinded your throbbing cunt against her, the pads of her fingers banged right into your puffy pink clit "f-fuck." You let out a loud moan and rubbed yourself against her hand. The only reaction you receive from her is a brow lift. No, hey need some help with that? Or, look how needy my girl is. But her hand will have to be just fine.
Almost reaching your high, you can feel the coil in your stomach tightening. "Fuck Abby, so- so- feels so good, m'gonna-" She yanked her hand away, leaving you to moan and cry, “but-.”
"Tut-tut, you knew I was reading, and you continued to bother me." She eventually put down her silly book and started undoing her jeans. That's when you noticed the bulge she was hiding in her pants. It was clear pink in color, slightly curved, and about 9.5 inches long. When did they get to be that big? "Come over here." You crept over and stared her in the eyes as she raised her hand. "Do you see my hand? Do you see the mess you made? I was busy, and you were attempting to distract me."
"Blah blah blah, s'not fair that you're always nose-deep in your fucking books." She firmly grasped your waist, and it was, kind of... hot. Abby is usually soft and delicate during sex, and she always does everything you say. She knows she's strong and doesn't want to hurt you, but her tone was harsh this time. The tips of her fingers dug into your hips as she "god-fuck-Abby!" shoved you down on the rest of her strap, almost making you gush the minute you sank entirely down.
"You understand that you are not to move? Be a good girl till I finish my book, and I'll give you what you need, got it?" Groaning, you leaned forward and placed your head on her shoulder. You were aware that her sexual desire was lower than yours and that she could go a long time without any sexual activity. You can only last a week. It was the book's problem, not yours. The book is what made you sit and be her good cockwarmer for who knows how long.
5 minutes... 10 minutes... 15 minutes This is taking far too long. You looked over and noticed she had quite a few pages. "Hey, come on, pretty girl, almost done." Unfortunately for you, Abby was not the fastest reader. She enjoys going deeply into what the characters are doing and what the current events will entail at the finale of the story.
One hour happened to extend into three hours. "Come on, pretty girl, you were so good for me; I think you deserve a reward, yeah?"

she bites her lip as her thumb gently rubs my chin slowly moving up to pull my bottom lip slightly "you can't be making those cute little sounds y/n or you'll make it harder to keep my cool around you, you have no idea how much I wanna fuck that attitude out of you" I let out another moan feeling the pool form in my panties I don't know what came over me before I know it I'm climbing into her lap straddling her "maybe that's what I need someone to fuck the attitude out of me" I whisper into her ear making her groan I slightly grind into her to get comfortable but feel something hard forming, uh fuck she has a dick the thought alone makes me drip in an instant I'm bent over her desk with my skirt up around my waist "fuck y/n you drive me crazy it's been so hard to keep my cool I can't help but watch you walk around in these little skirts day In day out" she whispers into my ear as my panties are pulled off "fuck professor maximoff I've been so naughty I need you to fuck me hard" I whimper as I hear her pants being unzipped she spreads my legs and moans at the view I can't help but feel a little shy as she stares at me my cunt dripping I quickly cover my mouth and scream as I feel her sink deep inside me "uhhh fuck princess so tight for mommy" I moan and nod looking round "fuck to big mommy I I can't" I breath out as she leans over making me moan at the sudden movements "you can do it kitten shhh you're being so good for mommy I promise it will feel good in a minute" she moans rubbing my shoulders as I feel her thrusting slowly I can't help but moan "so good so good" I whimper as her hands run down my body to my hips as she increases her thrusts "uhhhhh fuck fuck fuckkkk"
I moan louder as she starts to pound into me harder slamming her full length deep inside me hitting my gspot repeatedly "if I ever hear another bit of attitude coming from that pretty mouth I'll fuck it out of you kitten" she moans thrusting harder "well looks...like...I'm gonna have an attitude..every...everyday" I moan out as I feel my orgasm approach "I'm gonna I'm uhhh" I scream as I cum making professor maximoff groan at the sensation she doesn't stop she only gets faster pounding my cunt relentlessly "fuck this pussy is mine do you understand " she moans I lay spread across her desk unable to form words as she pounds me over and over I feel the second orgasm hit me as she groans "fuck kitten your walls are  squeezing me so fucking good you're doing amazing give me one more" she moans as she keeps her thrusts going I can't help but whimper and drool all over her desk it feels so fucking good but I swear I'm gonna pass out "gonna...cum mommy...I " my eyes roll as she slams deep inside me cumming deep inside me as I cum all over her cock she leans her body on mine moaning into my ear "fuck kitten I've never came like that before you're such a good girl for mommy" I whimper and nod "only for you mommy" I pant trying to get my breath back as she slides out and I stand up fixing my skirt as I feel my legs shaking "I'm keeping these" she smirks holding up my panties putting them into her pocket making me bite my lip "I can't wait for monday" I smirk as I walk away on shaky legs not saying anything else.

For Me (Levi Ackerman x Reader)
Tumblr media
summary: Levi Ackerman has a staring problem. Specifically staring at a woman that he has been admiring at his local coffee shop for months. She doesn't usually notice, however, one day she did. She would flip his world upside down, but would she let him in her world?

CHAPTER ONE: EARL GREY
ao3
"One Earl Grey tea." The barista at your favorite locally owned coffee shop sings. She's always in the best mood, even on days where the sky looks like it's about to break out into tears. "If it isn't my favorite regular!" She smiles and slides the tea towards me. "Writing anything good today?"
"One can only hope." You smile, grabbing the cup of tea. The steam is almost dancing off of the hot liquid, the warmth gracing your skin. "I'm working on my latest fiction novel. Romance is not the easiest to write for, contrary to popular belief." You offer her a warm smile. "I'll see you soon."
"Good luck!" She waved as you walked to your usual table. The coffee shop is based off earthy tones, plants hanging in the corner along with welcoming decor. As you sink into your seat, you feel a pair of eyes on you. You think about looking up into the eyes that could burn a hole in your skin, but you don't. You have work to do.
Your tote bag sits on the seat next to you, almost bursting with anything one would need for a day out. You pick your headphones out of the bottomless pit and pick out your 'writing playlist'. Next, your laptop. As you open it, you stare at your reflection across the black screen. A sigh leaves your lips as you type in your password and begin brainstorming for your next novel.
Your books have become more popular as more people are reading now-a-days. Thanks to social media, a few of your books have gone semi-viral. Typically you write fiction, specifically romance. Your fans are usually on the younger side, falling in love with your characters and wishing for more books featuring them.
You bite your lower lip as you begin typing, only to press down on the backspace key a few seconds later. Since when is coming up with ideas so hard for you?
You feel goosebumps populate your skin as you sense the same pair of eyes looking at you again. This time, you indulge. Your eyes meet his steel grey ones and it feels like time has stopped. The world now only contains you and him. You expect him to look away, but he keeps staring.
Raising an eyebrow, you continue to hold his gaze. Without looking down, he takes a sip of his tea from the ceramic white mug that comes with every drink.
His jet black hair mostly stays on one side, covering one of his eyebrows. You notice his undercut, which looks like he just recently got it buzzed. You study his skin, clear of any imperfections. His mouth is almost in a straight line, but his lips are pouting ever so slightly. He is dressed like he's going to work as a CEO - suit, tie, all that.
You break the staring contest you were participating in when you hear someone next to you trying to get your attention.
"Hey, sorry to bother you." A man with light brown hair smiled, watching you take your headphones off.
"Okay..." You look at the man, waiting for him to speak. "Did you need something?"
"I-I just wanted to tell you that you're beautiful." His cheeks began to turn a shade of red. "And I would like your number." His eyes darted to the floor. You raise an eyebrow, analyzing his face. He looks young, can't be older than 23. You notice a group snickering as the man seemingly embarrasses himself in front of you by the color of red that is burning his cheeks.
"Do you have a name?" You ask, taping your almond shaped fingernails on your laptop. You look down at your hands and admire your perfect manicure with your favorite nude shade of nail polish.
"Jean. I'm sorry, I should have started with that."
"Yeah, maybe." You glance at the group again. "Are those your friends?"
"Yes. They didn't think I was man enough to come up to you and ask for your number, which is why they're rudely staring right now."
"I appreciate your bravery, Jean." You smile at him, holding your palm out. "Hand me your phone."
Without hesitation Jean slips his phone into your hand. You open up the contacts app and add your name and number. You tell Jean your name as you give his phone back to him.
"Thank you. I'll... text you later?" Jean ended the sentence as a question.
"What else would you do with my number?" You let out a soft laugh. "Yes, we'll talk soon."
Jean walks back to his group of friends, putting his hands up to show victory. He's with 3 women, and 3 men. The men pat Jean on the shoulder while the women shake their hands, continuing whatever conversation they had going on before Jean came up to you.
When you turn to focus on your laptop once again, you feel eyes on you again.
This man will not stop staring, and he's almost shameless about it.
__________________________________________________________
Back at your apartment, you begin your 'Sunday reset' of your apartment. It's a weekly tradition for you - your sheets get washed, the floors get mopped, and you get your house ready for the week to come. Since you spend most of your time there, you try to make it as clean as you can while still feeling like a lived in home. Your phone buzzes in your pocket as you strip your bed of your sheets.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: Hey! It's Jean.
YOU: Hey there.
JEAN: Thank you again for giving me your number, I can't believe a woman as beautiful as you would even give me the time of day.
YOU: I admire your bravery and think it's cute that you got all red trying to talk to me. And thank you, you're very kind.
JEAN: Can I take you out for dinner this week? Wednesday?
YOU: Sounds like a plan. Text me where and what time and I'll meet you there.
JEAN: Will do! :)
You smile to yourself as you put your phone on your side table next to your couch. Your mind wanders as you clean, leading back to the man that has a staring problem. Why was he staring? How long had he been staring for?

Part 4 of the Intridimensional au! Fic this time because I do what I want.
_________________________
Ford waved goodbye to Fiddleford and made his way towards his boarding flight. He honestly had no idea what he was getting into, but Fiddleford had struck down every one of his excuses and booked a flight for him. He couldn't think of any other reason to not go aside from just flat out telling Fiddleford about Bill, but he still wasn't ready for that conversation.
He definitely wasn't ready to see Stanley again either, but Fiddleford was right, he couldn't ignore a call like the one he had gotten. He hoped it was all just a misunderstanding, that Stanley had gotten drunk or high and was just being dramatic, but his gut told him otherwise. Maybe it was something about the sincerity and pain in Stanley’s voice, or maybe it was just the suddenness of the call. Ford didn't know. He would just have to find out.
He boarded the plane easily enough and took his seat. It was already after 8:00pm and they wouldn't be landing until after 10:00pm, so he could at least try and get some sleep before dealing with whatever was waiting for him in New Mexico. He was asleep before they reached cruising altitude.
He opened his eyes what seemed like only moments later and found himself in a familiar blue void.
“Hiya, Fordsie! Isn't it a bit hard to work on a portal from 10,000 feet in the air?!”
Ford looked up to see Bill floating a few feet in front of him.
“My Muse! I apologize, something came up. I plan to be back in Oregon tomorrow, so the portal is still on schedule!”
“Right! I heard all about it! The dumb version of you got himself in some trouble, huh?! Shouldn't be that big of a surprise! I say just let him learn his lesson! Who needs him?!”
“I promise this won't get in our way, but he is still my brother. I can't just let him…”
“Die?! Why not?! He ruined your life! Now he's ruining his own!”
Ford winced at the word ‘die’. He may still be mad at Stanley, and he was stressed about leaving the portal project at such a crucial time, but this wasn't like when Stan got kicked out ten years ago. This was something more, and he would never forgive himself if he didn't at least try to help.
“Well-” Ford sighed. “I'm not sure how to explain this, Bill. I just can't leave him to…”
“Die?! Don't be so afraid of that word! Humans are dying all the time! It's what your kind is best at! Hah! But don't you worry, you still got a while left!”
Ford frowned as Bill floated closer, narrowing his eye like he was considering something.
“Fine, Fordsie.” Bill said after a moment. “Go help that wannabe pirate, hah! Just don't let it take too long! You have a portal to finish!”
“Thank you, my muse. I promise I won't let him distract me. I just have to make sure he's alive.” Ford said, smiling.
“Yeah, yeah! Just keep him away from the portal! You know what happened last time he got too close to one of your projects! Hah!”
Ford grimaced, but nodded.
“Good! Just don't come cryin’ to me if he's already dead! Hah! Byee!”
Ford woke with a start, nearly hitting the passenger next to him.
“Sorry!” he said quickly.
The passenger just frowned and scooted slightly away from him. Ford hid his hands in his jacket pockets and turned to stare out the window. It was probably best to stay awake for the remainder of the flight.
_____________________
This is some first draft material, friends. I didn't even try to read back over it. I might one day, but not today!
The next part will also be fic, then maybe more comics... Who knows! I don't!
This is obviously all backstory as to how they all ended up in Gravity Falls together, but there will actually be going into the portal and portal adventures eventually.
Once I have a bit more content I will post all of it on ao3 to make it easier to follow!
Again, this is Part 4!
Part 3 here!
Part 5 here!

Falling Without A Harness - Chapter 12
AU where Tom Ryder is still an asshole, just not a psychotic one. In the aftermath of Tom's simple but complicated favor, Parker is forced to finally face reality, and decide once and for all what she wants.
Read the story here: prev / ...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I can't believe I'm saying this," Melissa's voice echoed across the empty store, each syllable raspy and drawn out, tinged with the same sort of disbelief that has been simmering in Parker's chest all day. "But holy fuck."
The disbelief spirals and explodes, and Parker can't the help the laugh that is startled out of her from the unexpected curse.
"Excuse me," she drawled, aiming for levity, but falling somewhere in the realm of pure shock. "But since when do you curse?"
"Since about eleven am this morning," Melissa chirped back. She's slouched in the reading chair, hair piled on the top of her head in a janky bun, mascara smeared all along her cheeks, and if Parker hadn't been so thrown off by her sudden use of French, she might have taken a moment to reflect on the fact that this is the most out of sorts she has ever seen the girl look. "It just seemed like a good time to start. And, honestly? I kind of get it now. There really is no other way to express yourself properly, is there? Because—I mean seriously, Park—what the fuck?"
Parker knew that she should be scolding the young girl for her language. The last thing she needed was to garner the wrath of a disgruntled mom on top of everything else that she's dealing with. More importantly, she really didn't want teaching the youth curse words to be on her yearly karma bingo card. But... honestly, Parker couldn't help but agree.
There really was no better way to put it.
"Touché."
"Did you know that he was going to post that?"
Parker arched her brow at Melissa. "Do you think I would have left you to cover the shift alone if I knew that this was going to happen? I don't even follow his Instagram. Although, guess I have to after this, don't I?"
Melissa rolled her eyes, head lolling to the side as she stretched out her arms, back, and neck. "Only you would get an exclusive shout-out from the Tom Ryder and you aren't even following his Insta. Totally unfair, by the way."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Is my sudden luck raining on your plans somehow?"
"It's not luck."
Parker slumped on her elbows, a pen stuck sideways in her mouth as she tried to work through her to-do list for closing down the shop. It was hard to concentrate with Melissa's jabbering, though, and it was even harder to find the energy to sweep the shop when she'd much rather just collapse onto her bed. "What else would it be?"
Melissa blinked at her with a tart expression. "Um, hello? You're dating Tom Ryder. That might have something to do with it."
So surprised by the comment, Parker scratched a line across her notepad, and subsequently decided that her to-do list could wait till later. "We're not—I'm not dating Tom."
"Sure," the girl snorted. "He just hangs around your shop all the time, invites you over for parties, gets dinner with you, and—oh yeah—posts you on his Instagram."
"He didn't post me—"
"But, whatever," she continued, already moving on to the next topic. Parker watched as she bent forward and, with a grimace, tried to rub some feeling into her ankles. "I lost feeling in my toes, like, three hours ago. Is that bad? I mean, I'm not gonna have to get an amputation or anything, will I? Because I'm not missing out on Stacy Jordan's sweet sixteen because of you. Her parents rented out this huge dance hall, and they even hired a DJ."
Parker sighed.
Melissa's train of thought was something that she would never be able to keep up with, and today in particular she did not have the stamina to even try. Sourly, she said, "I told you that those shoes weren't very supportive—"
A book is lobbed in her direction, and Parker ducked behind the register before it can make contact.
The loud fwap of it hitting the ground echoes between the two.
"That better not have been a new edition."
"Oh, fuck off," Melissa said.
Parker returned from her hiding spot—back aching when she sits up, neck hurting when she props herself atop an elbow, eyes burning as she squints at the largest stack of receipts she's ever had before—and clucked her tongue. "You know I think I like this new you. You should curse more often."
"Pf. You just want to get rid of the swear jar."
"Well," she hedged, eyes darting to said jar, "it would save me some money. Unless you feel like paying up anytime soon. That's, what, three f-words? I'm not going to turn my nose up at fifteen bucks anytime soon."
Melissa gave an unbothered snort. "You wish."
"So, it's just a punishment for me, then?"
"You won't even need that thing after this week," she pressed on, sinking deeper into the worn out plush of the reading chair as her gaze slowly drifted across the bookstore. The shelves are the emptiest they've ever been, and the decorations they worked meticulously hard to find are in disarray from the constant throng of customers today. It's not a problem they've had before, having to reset the store after closing, but Parker supposes that's a good problem to have. "My feet hurt because of how busy we were, not because of my shoes—which, by the way, I had to wait in line for two hours to get—they will be supportive if I want them to be. Does this mean you'll finally hire Emily?"
"Emily?"
"My best friend. I've introduced you, like, ten times."
Parker conjured up a blurry image of a blonde girl, identical to Melissa in every way except for their different colored hair and eyes, with matching braces to boot. She thought she was nice, but, honestly, she can't really recall. Whatever. "Why would I hire Emily?"
Melissa scowled. "Well, that's rude. Just because she's my best friend doesn't mean that we're going to goof off or anything. She's just as hard of a worker as I am. You'd practically be getting two employees for the price of one if you hired her. Plus, it would drive Maddy H crazy if Emily got to work at Tom Ryder's bookstore and she didn't."
"It's not—" Parker started, before shaking the thought away. Bigger things to focus on, she reminded herself. "I thought we talked about this. I can give you a raise, but I can't afford to hire someone else."
"Uh, correction, you couldn't afford to hire someone else."
Parker puts the stack of receipts away, mind slowly but surely drifting to the next task as she attempts to lock the register down. She would definitely have to stop at the bank tomorrow to deposit their cash from the day—not a problem she had ever had before—and she mentally adds that to the list of musts. "Did I win the lottery without knowing it or something?"
Her question hangs flat in the air, and in response, Melissa curls a disbelieving look in her direction. "You're kidding, right? Did you see how busy we were today?"
"Right, listen," Parker started, but by how intense Melissa's eyeroll was, it was obvious that the teenager would not, in fact, be listening. "One good day of sales doesn't override an entire quarter of awful sales. This was just—just a fluke. I can't just hire Emily on a whim because we had one nice day. Ever heard of a rainy day fund?"
Melissa, hand in the air as she inspects the damage to her manicure, scoffed. "Yeah, but it's not just one good day."
"Are you secretly working at a different bookstore in your free time or something?"
"Oh my god," Melissa moaned, before dropping her boots to the ground with a heavy thud. "Right, you listen."
"Oh, here we go—"
"Park, I know you're big on self decrepitation and whatever—something I'm guessing you learned from your total has been of a brother—"
"Wow. You know, you two have got to figure out whatever this beef is about," Parker interrupted, only to be promptly ignored as Melissa stood.
"But this isn't just going to die down," she said, the stack of bangles on her wrists jangling as she made air quotes to emphasize her point. "Tom Ryder gave you a personal shout-out on his Instagram. That, like, never happens. The only things he posts are selfies, and paid promotions. In February, he posted a three second video about his Erewhon smoothie, and they're still selling out on the daily."
Parker frowned. "Smoothie?"
"So not the point," Melissa grumbled with another jingle of her bracelets. "The point is that this—" she gestured around them, to the bookshelves and the roof and the chair beneath her with one long sweeping motion, "just hit the jackpot. Kay? This is going to go viral, and when it does, you're going to have crowds like today every day."
That doesn't sound right. Parker knows that Tom is famous, that he has millions of followers on all of his social media, and that there are fangirls out there of his even more obsessed with what he does than the one scowling across the room from her. But just because he posted her store doesn't mean that she's going to have throngs of fans outside, day after day.
That sort of thing just... didn't happen.
Not to people like her.
Right?
"Okay, well, I mean," she started, struggling to put her thoughts into words after all of her braincells effectively went on vacation for the weekend. The cash register snapped shut with a metallic clang, and she dangled the key between her hands mindlessly. "Even if we go viral, we'll be popular for a bit, but not for, like, ever. A month, maybe."
Melissa blinked at her in that sort of way that means she's judging her, and when she hefts herself to a stand, Parker can feel the lecture about to come. "Look, I know you're a millennial and you aren't really active online, so I'll break it down for you."
"How gracious," she snarked, rolling her eyes.
"It's going to be like this—like it was today—for weeks. Until something new or something better comes along, but even then you're going to have Influencers coming in for pictures, wanting to stake a claim on this place just like Tom did. Okay? Which means more pictures, more shout-outs, and more people seeing this place on their FYPs."
"FY—?"
"So, yeah, maybe this place isn't going to stay viral forever, but that just means it's all the more important to capitalize on the attention while you can. If people are flocking here just to get stuck in long lines because there's only one employee during the day, then they're going to lose interest faster."
"I know how business work," Parker interjected, offended on her own behalf, but Melissa didn't seem to care one way or the other about her feelings.
"So you know that you need to dress to impress."
Parker narrowed her eyes at the girl shrewdly. She was staring to get that familiar feeling in her gut that Melissa was winding up for some big scheme, and previous experience had proven that when Melissa really wanted something, Parker was helpless but to give in. "Is this just some big production so I'll hire a bunch of your little cheerleading friends?"
The face she made was lethal. "First off, Emily doesn't cheer, she does dance, and that sort of tone is both condescending and so not cool. Secondly, it's an excuse to hire someone else so I don't get stuck like I did today when my boss decides to go gallivanting around town without her phone!"
"I wasn't gallivanting," she defended. "It was, just, an unfortunate—"
"Parker," Melissa said, leaning on her elbows until they were inches apart. "Hire some more people, or you're going to have to work every shift of this store forever because I don't ever want to experience that rush alone again."
Ugh.
The girl had a serious point—about everything, it seemed—but Parker was in no mood to think about any of that. "I already said I'd give you a raise."
"Well, that is a given," she chirped, gathering her purse and jacket from behind the counter. Parker might have been more put off by her attitude if she didn't think the girl deserved a hearty raise. Afterall, she was a little mastermind in her own right, as terrifying as that could be. "But I'd also like to have extra help, and it's no one's business if that extra help is a couple of my friends from school. I take this job seriously, you know. I wouldn't recommend her if she wouldn't be a good employee."
"You're a menace, you know that, right?"
Melissa smiled, and for the first time all day, it seemed more conniving than tired. "I'll send you her resume."
"No, no, no, that's not what I just—"
"And, anyways, she's just as big of a fan of you and Tom as I am. I mean, obviously, she's never met him, but I tell her everything. She totally ships you two. Probably not as much as I do, obviously," she trailed on, finally getting around to swipe the mascara off her cheeks as she bent even closer into Parker's space, "but she's invested. I think it's totally time you post him on your story."
"My what?"
"I mean, he already posted you. Or, you know, your store," she corrected herself, waving a hand around flippantly as if those were the same thing. And, maybe, in the mind of a teenage fangirl, they were. "Relationships are never official until it's on the page."
"We're not—"
"Have you thought about a ship name, yet?" she barreled on, completely ignoring the fact that every extra word she said was only compounded the migraine growing between Parker's temples. "Because I think Ryvers is so, totally cute, but Emily likes Parom better. Although, that sounds a little—"
"Okay, alright, that's it," Parker stood from her stool, and in the matter of seconds had shooed the teenager outside with as much decorum as she could muster. It was ruined, of course, by the bright red blush sprawling across her face like wild fire. "Goodnight, Melissa. Thank you for your help today, I will see you next week."
"But—"
"Goodbye!"
She shut the door with the jingle of the overhead bell and promptly slumped against it. A few beats passed before Melissa's boots clomped off in the direction of the bus stop, and when it fell silent outside, she glanced around. The store at night, with the main lights switched off and the crackled radio drifting from the corner, felt eerily empty after the busy day they had. And while the trash absolutely needed to be taken out, and the shelves needed to be catalogued for what she would have to put in her upcoming order, for the first time ever, Parker decided that there were some things that could wait until tomorrow.
After all, she had a boy to talk to.
---
"Are we dating?"
Tom, dressed down in some Nike sweats and a simple black tee with sleep marks red on the side of his face, blinked at Parker like she was on drugs. And, honestly, she supposed that was a fair assumption to make. After all, it was nearing midnight by the time she pulled into his driveway, unannounced, her hair mussed like a bird's nest from driving the entire way into the Hills with the windows down, and the anxious energy from the day's chaos had yet to make itself useful other than by adding a shakiness to her hands.
And while she had spent the entire drive over contemplating all the things that she wanted to ask him, the first thing that had come out of her mouth when he opened the door was that.
"What?"
Parker winced, anxiously wringing her hands together, before she pressed inside. She supposed having a mansion in the Hills meant that even the closest neighbors were too far away to hear anything, but the idea that there might be someone witnessing what likely could be considered a mental breakdown was not a comforting thought.
"I didn't mean..." she started, shaking her head, before she stooped to untie her shoes. That proved to be an impossible task with how shaky her hands, were, however, and in the end she just kicked them off with a grunt. "That wasn't what I—well, Melissa seems convinced that we are."
Parker could feel his eyes burrowing into her back, and Parker pointedly avoided eye contact as her cheeks flamed a hot red.
"Melissa," he echoed dully.
Cool, she thought to herself. Just be cool.
But the Seavers siblings were not known for their ability to play it cool, and while he drifted after her, Parker miserably tried to think of a way to explain her squirrel-brained thoughts without sounding like a lunatic.
"Well, you know, you posted me on Instagram."
"I didn't post you on my Instagram," he corrected.
And—shit. Wasn't that exactly what she had argued?
Parker was happy that her back was to him as her face flushed an even more indelicate red. It didn't help that there were lamps on all throughout the living room, orange and yellow hues of lighting casting shadows across her already warm face.
"I know, I know, and I told her exactly that, but she has it in her head that posting, well, my shop is the same thing as posting me and then she wouldn't shut up about it today. And now she wants me to hire her friend who is also convinced that we're, you know, dating, and I told her that she's—that that's not—you know..."
The knit of his brows made it painstakingly obvious that Tom didn't know, and honestly how would he? She didn't even know what she was trying to say.
"I... think I need a drink," she muttered, scurrying to the fridge where she withdrew two ice cold bottles of beer. IPAs were not her favorite by a long shot, but there were far more important things to handle, and without hesitating, Parker popped one open. A long swallow followed before she awkwardly slid the second bottle towards Tom. "Maybe I should start again."
His brows disappeared into his hairline, but the moment she met his eye Parker just knew that he was relishing in this particular conversation.
She planted her elbows on the counter, and caught her head in her hands with a whine. "I really wish that you had given me a heads-up about the post."
Whatever was smug withered and died. "A heads-up?"
"Just so I could have been more prepared, you know," she hedged, fingers nervously plucking at the wet label on her beer bottle. "Between the crowds today and my system freezing and Melissa pestering at me about our—you know—whatever, I feel like I've been running around like a headless chicken. It's been a lot to handle."
He was silent for a long moment, and by the time that she dared to glance at him he had managed to shake off any remaining sleepiness. Now, he scowled at her long and hard. "Right, well, next time I'll make sure to get your approval ahead of time. Should I have changed the picture too? Written a longer post about how much I fucking adore your shitty little store?"
Parker reared back. "Hey, it's not shitty."
"Right," he scoffed, shaking his head at her. "You know, most people would at least hold off on their complaints until after they've said thank you. Common deceny, and all that."
Parker deflated against the counter as Tom looped around the other side of the couch to sit down. There were pillows sprawled across it, a blanket pooling on the ground, and a Tom shaped indent in one of the cushions from where he had been sleeping before she showed up. When he flicked the tv off mute, Parker became increasingly aware of how poorly this conversation was going.
She took a deep breath and a long dreg of her beer before carefully seating herself on the table smack dab in his line of view. When he refused to give in, however, she took the remote out of his hand and flicked the tv off with a huff.
"Tom—"
But he wasn't having any of it, and he rolled his eyes at her so intensely that it must have hurt. "Oh, fuck. Look, if you're going to make this into some big lecture or whatever you can save us both the time and effort. I already spent the day dealing with this bullshit from Gail. I don't need it from you too."
As almost every mention of his producer did, that caught her off guard. "Gail?"
"Yeah, imagine that," he scoffed. "I try to do something nice, for once, and the first thing she does is yell at me because of it. And now you're here doing the same thing, and I don't even know what I expected, but it sure as shit isn't—"
"Why would she yell at you?" she interrupted.
He finished half of his beer in a swallow. "Why do you think?"
She wasn't sure. That was half the reason she asked the question, but when he tensed—as if preparing for that exact sort of answer—Parker's mouth snapped shut just as quickly as it had opened.
Why would Gail be upset?
Sure, she was his producer, and likely was miffed about missing out on her fee, but it wasn't like a percentage of twenty grand would have had any real impact on her salary. After all, Tom hadn't minced his words earlier when talking about how much of his yearly income went to the movie mogul. And Parker had seen her house; the woman wasn't going to be pinching pennies any time soon unless she was robbed at gunpoint. And even then she would probably benefit from her high profile connections.
Which meant if it wasn't the money that she cared about, it must have been...
Realization was a painful thing, and Parker rounded towards Tom with wide eyes. "She's upset because you did this without asking her?"
Another swallow of his beer. "I told you that I don't do stuff without asking her."
"But you did this time."
"Because she would have fucking said no," he ground out, distaste over even having to admit it obvious from his tone. "Which is fucking—I mean, it's my fucking life. I can do what I want. Should be able to, anyway. I'm the one making her money, but I do this one thing and she's all pissed off about it. You know how small that makes me feel? That she would even expect me to get permission from her?"
"Tom," she said, only to have him steamroll on.
"It's bullshit. Total bullshit."
"Tom," she tried again when he didn't seem to hear her.
But whatever floodgate he had opened wasn't closing anytime soon, and Parker felt her chest constrict. "Everything I do is because she tells me to do it. I don't even chose who I sponsor. But I do one post without her permission and get shit for it. And apparently, not just from her. Because you're here too, pissed that I didn't tell you ahead of time, and it's like no matter what I do it's—"
Not knowing what else to do, but knowing that she had to do something, Parker lurched forward to sling her arms around his neck. He went stiff beneath her touch, freezing as she attempted to pull him to her, before his hands slowly bracketed around her waist.
"What are you—?"
"I'm sorry," she muttered. Then, when that wasn't enough—because how could that ever be enough—she tightened her hold on him hoping that it might convey what she didn't know how to say. Parker shook her head into the crook of his neck, swallowing. "Fuck, Tom, I'm sorry. I didn't come over here to yell at you. I swear I didn't. I'm not even mad, I don't know why I said that thing about the heads-up, I just... I just was so overwhelmed today that I didn't know what to say or how to bring it up or thank you that I just—I just word vomited. Okay? I'm sorry. I am. I'm sorry."
"Hey," he said, arms tightening around her. "It's okay."
But it wasn't okay, and he had to know that. "But it's not, Tom. You just—you just changed my life, you know? What you did... I've never had that many people in my store before, and they were lined up, and the line didn't dissipate all day! I think I sold, like, half my inventory because of you, and if that continues even for a month then I'll be able to actually finance my store and I won't have to close and... I'll never be able to thank you enough for that."
She leaned back to find Tom frowning at her. "It was just a post."
"To you, and to Gail," she said, finally being able to express what she had been stewing on all day. "But to me... it's everything. I don't know how I'll ever be able to pay you back."
"Pay me back?"
"I mean, I could give you some of the profit, but it probably won't be much. Especially since I still have loans to pay off, and I need to get insurance, and fix the AC, and maybe even hire some new staff, but I'm sure I could give you percentage. Like, a little over time, and it definitely won't be much, but—"
She didn't realize she was rambling until Tom shook her. "I don't want you to pay me back, Park."
"But—"
"Nah," he said, shaking his head at her. One of his hands twisted into the cotton of her sweater, and for the first time that night, as he ducked his head to avoid her gaze Parker realized that maybe he was just as anxious about this entire thing as she was. "I owe you, okay. Not the other way around."
Parker couldn't think of anything more ridiculous than that, and her brows furrowed a divot into her forehead. "What are you talking about?"
He released a chuckle of disbelief, the sound low and raspy in his throat. "I know I'm an asshole. What you said when we first met, that day on the set, it pissed me off so much because... you were right, and no one else had ever bothered to tell me. I'm an asshole to staff and to the crew and to your fucking brother, but do you seriously think I'm blind to all the things that you've done for me?"
Floundering for words—and thoughts—all she could do was blink at him.
Tom glanced away, fingers wrapping themselves into her shirt, skating a burning line over her skin. "You—you're..." he started, before drifting off. Clearly, she wasn't the only person struggling to put their thoughts into words tonight, but Parker was too dumbfounded by the fact that Tom Ryder was admitting to be an asshole above all else, that she couldn't find the energy to interrupt him. "No one has ever... held me accountable before."
Even more bewildered then before, she stared at him. "And that's... a good thing? Because I thought that drove you crazy? I mean—"
"God, of course it drives me crazy," he cut her off with another chuckle. "But you do it because—because you see something in me that no one else does, you know? You see... me. Not the rich, famous me that everyone else sees and takes advantage of, but the asshole on the inside that no one else likes. Do you know how many people have found me in the bathroom like you did? Do you know how none of them have ever cared before?"
Parker's hands skated around his neck, desperate for something to hold onto, to feel, as she gently flattened them out on his chest. "You don't owe me anything for that," she said, shaking her head. "You didn't have to do this just to make up for that. I like being in your life, being your friend, your... I think more people care about you than you think, Tom."
He swallowed, and her eyes tracked the movement of his throat. "And you're the only person in my life that would say shit like that and mean it."
"Of course I mean it. I wouldn't lie to you."
"I know," he said, hands drifting further up her back, a connection that she didn't dare break as they settled into the groove of her spine. "And that's why I did it. So I don't want anything from you, alright? I just... want to give you this. Fuck Gail, fuck my social media manager, fuck all of them. Just this once I want to do something for someone else. Well, no, even that's a lie. Not for someone else, but for you."
Parker bit her lip, feeling her heart thump against her chest, and she was certain that he must have felt it too as she leaned against him. "Really?"
"Yeah," he said. "You're—just... you're not like other girls, you know that?"
Despite the tension growing between them, the softness of the moment and the tender way he was holding her, Parker couldn't keep back a startled laugh. And when she did laugh, Tom's hands paused in their movements, brows knitting a second time as he watched her with something wary struck across his features.
"Sorry, sorry," she said almost immediately, biting her lip, only for another giggle to escape. He looked truly put off then, and she carefully skated her hands back around his neck. "I just... sorry, I'm not laughing at you. That just so sounded like a line."
The wariness vanished, replaced by irritable fondness, and his hands pressed her closer. "Yeah, well," he said, that oh-so familiar smugness of his curling his mouth upwards. "What if it was?"
"Oh?"
He shrugged, pressing on. "Lots of girls would kill to hear that kind of line from Tom Ryder, you know? You should consider yourself lucky."
"I thought I wasn't like other girls."
"You're not. No other girl has ever driven me fucking crazy like you do."
"Flattering," she snarked. But the skate of his hands was starting to ignite a nervous fluttering in her stomach, and as her nails dug into his shirt, Parker could barely maintain a sense of decorum as she smirked at him. "Well? Go on then."
"With?"
"You've given me a line. I'm interested in seeing what other sorts of moves the famous Tom Ryder has to woo the ladies. You want to show me your wine cellar? Art collection? Is there a disco ball that comes down from your ceiling if I clap?"
His entire torso shook as he laughed. "See what I mean? You're drive me fucking crazy."
"Ah, maybe, but that wasn't a no—"
Parker swore that a single kiss from Tom Ryder had the ability to set her entire body alight. Sometimes, she wondered if he felt it too; the way the pads of his thumbs would trail a burning line along her skin or how her hands got shaky as she trailed them up into his hair. His hands certainly didn't shake; not when they pulled her sweater over her head or drifted along the length of her legs, fingers dipping into the ticklish spot behind her knees, tugging her impossibly closer before moving up, up, up...
This time, there was no party to return to, no busybodies to avoid or assistants needing Tom's attention in between fittings on set, and most importantly no phone to chirp at them or brother to distract.
There was just her and him, Parker and Tom.
And when the tension between them—once ugly and mean and festering and awful, now golden and beautiful and, maybe even destined—finally broke, she realized that it wasn't so bad to have someone to drive crazy; perhaps, even, it was the spark that she had been missing.

make a wish- harry j potter x reader
p: harry j potter x reader (she/her pronouns) w: kinda deep, mainly fluffy, not proof read summary: it's (y/n)'s birthday but it doesn't feel like it. she doesn't want to celebrate it as it is a reminder that she's growing up and is getting older. boyfriend harry (and the rest of her friends) are determined to remind her it's still a special day. a/n: its my birthday today and this is based on my own feelings of getting older. sorry for not actively posting as much, i haven't had much motivation but will hopefully get back soon as i have so much planned out including a harry x reader book for a different platform
It was a special day, and no, not Christmas. It was (Y/N)'s birthday. But to (Y/N), it just felt like any other day. As the years keep going by, her birthday just felt less special. With the end of the school year slowly coming, (Y/N) realized that her youth is slipping away, nearing the stages of adulthood but not feeling prepared.
(Y/N) walked into the Great Hall for breakfast, fellow students wishing her a happy birthday as she walked towards the Gryffindor table where she'd eat with the rest of her friends. She began piling some fruit onto her plate when she saw Hermione and Ron sit down in front of her.
"Happy birthday (Y/N)" the two said to her. "I can't believe you're getting older," Ron points out
"Thank you," she said with a sour smile. "Where's Harry?" She asks wanting to divert from the reminder that she's another year older as well as wondering where her boyfriend is.
"He's still getting ready, he overslept a bit," Hermione told the girl.
Right after she said that, the subject in question rushed over to the group, taking a seat next to the birthday girl.
"Sorry I'm a bit late," Harry told his friends as he piles food on his plate. He looks over to his lovely girlfriend and kisses her cheek. "Happy birthday love!"
"Thank you Harry," (Y/N) says.
"How does it feel to be another year older?" asks Harry. "Are you planning on doing something big today? Fred and George could probably get food over to the common room and we can have a big party for you?"
As interesting as it sounds to (Y/N), she really had no plans. The day no longer felt special now that she's getting closer to adulthood. What was the point of celebrating something that no longer makes her excited?
Losing her appetite from these thoughts, she decided to leave, wanting some alone time. "I think don't wanna do anything. I should go now, I need to grab something from my dorm." She quickly left the hall, leaving her half filled plate behind.
Ron looks at her fading figure, slightly confused. "That's kind of odd," he points out. "Is she okay?"
"I hope so," Hermione says. "But she usually isn't like this. She was so excited last year. I'm worried."
Harry was worried too. He always wanted to ensure the happiness of his lover. He had to find out what was clouding (Y/N)'s mind and try to cheer her up.
"What if we throw her a surprise party?" Ron says. "Everyone likes surprises."
"Not everyone enjoys surprises, Ronald," Hermione huffs out. "It isn't a bad idea though. And like Harry said, we can use the twins help. We can invite her friends to the Gryffindor common room. What do you think Harry?"
"It's not a bad idea. But I want to check on her to see if she's alright," He says.
"Well you're going to have to wait until later. Class is going to start soon," Hermione said.
Unfortunately Harry had to wait til after classes to have a proper chat with (Y/N) since all the classes they had together decided to be busy so there was no time for them to chat. Didn't help that in half of them they don't even sit by each other.
The moment classes ended, Harry went to find (Y/N), dragging her to his dorm.
"Harry where are we going?"
"My dorm."
Harry opens the door to his shared room, closing it behind (Y/N). He drops his stuff beside his bed and goes over to his girlfriend and gives her the biggest hug, which she returns.
"Are you okay love? You don't seem excited today." He hears her sigh, cracking open her true emotions. He brings her to his bed to lay down, wrapping his arms around her as she lays her head on his shoulder.
(Y/N) began to speak."I don't know, its just, its kinda of dumb."
"Whatever you're feeling is not dumb (Y/N)," Harry tells her.
(Y/N) could feel the tears trying to build up in her eyes. "Well my birthday just doesn't feel special anymore, it just feels like another day. I feel like it's just a reminder that I'm almost an adult now and I have to start figuring my life out. Graduation is coming closer and closer and after that, we're all going to go chase our dreams and who knows if we will be in contact. I just wish we were still first years exploring Hogwarts for the first time. I miss being a little kid and having no worries. I'm not ready to get older Harry."
Harry shifts his body to face her, and giving her a kiss on her lips before responding.
"(Y/N), it's okay to feel like this. What you're feeling is completely valid. Growing up is scary, but it means new experiences to try. We still have a lot of time. You don't need to grow up yet and you don't have to have your life situated right now. Sirius told me to live in the present. If we spent too much time worrying about the future we will forget to live in the moment." Harry pauses for a second. "I promise you that we will all still be in contact together. Hermione and Ron could never forget you. I could never forget you. If anything, Ron and I already planned to get houses right next to each other so we will always be together."
Harry leans over and opens his bedside table, pulling out a small box and hands it to (Y/N).
"This is one of your gifts. Open it," Harry tells her.
(Y/N) removes the wrapping and opens up the small box. Inside it was a ring. It was simple, but it was beautiful. She puts it on her ring finger. It was a perfect fit.
"It's a promise ring," said Harry. "To prove that I will always be right by your side. That I promise to love and take care of you even after Hogwarts. I see a future with us (Y/N), and I don't plan on letting go of you."
The tears in (Y/N)'s eyes filled up again, but for a happier reason. She wrapped her arms around Harry's neck and pulled him into a big kiss.
"I love you so much Harry," She tells him. "You're the most amazing person ever."
Harry smiles at her. "I love you too (Y/N). Don't make your self grow up yet. You're perfect just how you are."
(Y/N) smiles back at Harry. The one man who validated her feelings, telling her it's okay to feel what she feels, who comforted her. Birthdays don't have to be a reminder that she's getting old, rather, it should be a day to celebrate life. She doesn't have to force herself to be an adult yet. Will these thoughts continue to plague her head from time to time? Yes, but it will all be okay. She just has to remind herself to live in the moment and enjoy life.
"So," (Y/N) began. "You said this was one of my presents. What about the other?"
"Oh we'll come back right here for it." Harry winks at (Y/N) causing her to blush. "But first, there's something else waiting for you." Harry takes (Y/N)'s hand and brings her out the dorm.
"Gonna need you to close your eyes," Harry tells her.
"Why?"
"Just do it. Please? I promise I won't let you trip and fall."
(Y/N) closed her eyes. Harry held her hand as he guided her down the stairs to the common room.
"Alright, you can open your eyes now love."
As (Y/N) opened her eyes, she sees a bunch of people jumping out from behind furniture.
"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N)!"
The common room was decorated in streamers and confetti. A sign hanged in the middle of one of the walls saying "Happy Birthday (Y/N)!" All of her friends from every house was here, to celebrate her.
Hermione and Ron came up to her and gave her a hug. Fred and George were right behind them with a big cake with candles.
"Make a wish!" The twins said.
(Y/N) thought for a moment. I wish to just enjoy my life with the people I love the most.
She blows out her candles, everyone cheering.
"What did you wish for?!" Someone in the crowd asks.
(Y/N) chuckles before letting her answer slip. "This!"
Fred and George helped pass pieces of the cake around. Harry went closer to (Y/N), placing his arm around her waist and gave her a kiss.
"Happy birthday (Y/N)."

Lesson learned (Rúben Dias x Reader)
Tumblr media
**So one of my anons suggested the idea of holidays with Rúben and then a flirty tour guide shows up. And of course, it was too good to pass so here we have some jealous Rúben. Enjoy!! ❤️**
Word count: 1735
Masterlist
Wattpad
"There is an exhibition I would like to go to. I can go by myself if you're not interested".
"We're on holiday together. Where you go, I go".
"That sounds a bit stalkerish, Rúben. And honestly, we can have some time alone. It'd be what? An hour? Two?"
"Too long. I already have to be away from you the rest of the year because of my travelling and yours. You're staying with me all the time during our holiday".
I laugh at Rúben's little pout. And he's right. I want to spend all my time with him too.
"Ok then", I say, sitting down and patting the space next to me so he sits there. "The website says it's free admission. But we can pay 2 euros and get a guide".
"Do we need a guide?", he asks, now sitting next to me and putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Having one won't hurt and it's just 4 euros. The ice cream we ate last night was more expensive than that".
He laughs, remembering my face when I saw the price for a simple vanilla ice cream. "Alright then, book the tickets. I guess that'd be good to move around the place quicker so we have more time for other activities".
"Done. Tomorrow at 11.30. How exciting! I love this designer".
"Anything else you need to check or can we go to lunch now?"
"Take me to lunch, Dias", I tell him, getting up from the bed and offering a hand he kisses before intertwining his fingers with mine and leading us out of the hotel room.
                                           **
The next morning I wake up super excited about the exhibition. J.W. Anderson's work for his namesake brand and for Loewe has been such a joy to follow for the last couple of years. I can't wait to see some of those pieces up close and to hear more about his design process.
"Would it be too on the nose if I wore a Loewe shirt?"
"I don't know?", Rúben is still sleepy and not ready for harder questions than do you want breakfast?
I laugh and shake my head. "I'll just wear this other blouse and shorts. I want to be comfy".
"Well, I don't know who made those shorts but I love the way they look on you".
"And I would love the way a lot of the Loewe menswear collection would look on you", I say, walking closer to where he's sitting on the bed.
"Yeah?", I nod and he starts to caress my thighs which are now exposed because these shorts are very short. "I still won't look as good as you but I guess I could try".
As it's happened every morning since our holidays started, it's a struggle to leave the room. But we have to or we'll be late.
"There it is. That entrance is for the people without tickets and…over there! That's our entrance!"
I almost drag Rúben to the door because of how excited I am about this exhibition.
"Your tickets, please?"
"Here".
"Perfect, please go over there and wait for your guide. He should be here any minute. The previous tour just ended".
"Amazing, thank you".
"Enjoy!"
Rúben and I start to read the itinerary on the walls to pass the time but only two minutes later, a young man stops near us and introduces himself.
"I'll be your guide today. Follow me, please".
"Is it just the two of us?", I ask.
"Yes, the other people who booked the tickets didn't show up".
"Their loss. Let's start".
We go to the first room where there are some of the first designs Anderson did years ago. It's so incredible to see them while Thomas, our guide, explains to us the designer's story. I already know most of it but I still nod every couple of seconds so he knows I'm listening.
"Let's move to the next room", he says, opening the door and holding it for us to walk through.
I smile at him but Rúben doesn't. He looks very serious but I guess he's just bored.
While I'm looking inside one of the vitrines and reading the description, I call Thomas so he can come closer.
"Why are you calling him? He finally left us alone for 5 seconds", says Rúben and I frown.
"I need to ask a question and he's our guide, he has to be near us. What's your problem?"
"Yes?", Thomas gets there before Rúben can say more.
"I was reading this and I have a question about this part", I say, pointing to the paragraph. "I read something different once".
Thomas moves closer to me and places his hand right next to mine, which I don't even notice because I'm busy reading. But Rúben does.
"I wish I had an answer, sorry. I just memorized the stuff for the tour. But I could ask other guides when we are done".
"Oh no, please. Don't worry. I just thought you could help but it's fine. Isn't this your main job, then?"
"No. I'm a tour guide but I do hikes with people. This is just a side gig to earn some extra money".
"Really? We love hiking!"
"We do?", asks Rúben, now both annoyed and confused.
"Well, I do and you follow me like a good boy when I want to go", I joke, making Thomas snort and try to cover it with a fake cough. And Rúben doesn't like that reaction at all.
"If you're free this weekend, you could come to that tour. I promise I'll answer all of your questions there", he winks.
"We could try and find the time…".
"We're really busy", interrupts Rúben.
"During the weekend? No, we aren't".
"Maybe I had plans I didn't tell you about yet".
"Then you can do that and I'll do the hike. I told you it was ok for us to separate for a couple of hours".
Thomas tells us to move to the next room and when we do, Rúben walks next to me and leans down to whisper.
"You're not going on a hike alone with him?"
"What's that supposed to mean? And I'm sure the tours are formed by groups of people, not just by one person".
"I don't care. You are not going".
"You don't get to tell me what I do, Rúben. I thought you would have learned that by now".
I walk faster to join Thomas and Rúben just follows us, glaring at anything our guide says.
"This dress is incredible. I would love to wear one like that one day".
"You'd look fantastic wearing it".
That compliment should have come from my boyfriend…but it came from Thomas.
"Thank you, Thomas", I say sweetly. "And about that hike…".
Even if I'm not looking at Rúben, I can imagine his face right now. I know what they say about poking a bear but I'm feeling feisty. I don't get to go on a hike if I want to go…huh! He's going to be taught a lesson.
By the time we're done, I'm surprised Rúben hasn't said a word. But I can sense his eyes on me the whole time.
"See you Saturday".
"See you then, Thomas. Thanks for the tour, it was perfect".
Rúben is still silent when we walk outside the building and I can't help but laugh.
"You're so stupid, actually".
"Me? He was flirting with you the whole time!", he says, trying not to raise his voice.
"There it is, the jealous rant".
"Would you like it if an attractive woman flirted with me in front of your face?"
"So you also thought Thomas was attractive then?"
I know that's a step too far but his face makes me laugh again.
"Yes, it's really funny".
"Rúben, attractive women flirt with you in front of my face the whole time. But you don't give them the time of day so why should I?"
"You loved Thomas' attention, don't lie".
"No, I didn't. I was just nice to the person who was doing his job and showing us the exhibition we paid to visit. It's called good manners. Or should I just smile at women from now on just so your insecurities don't ruin the day?"
"But he flirted with you", he really is running out of arguments.
"Of course he did, look how hot I am. Wouldn't you flirt with me too?"
He shakes his head and keeps walking. But I swear I saw a little smile on his face that he tried, and failed, to hide.
Once back at the hotel room, Rúben throws himself to the bed, face first.
"Sooo dramatic!"
I take my shoes off before going to the bed too and I sit on his lower back.
"What are you doing?", he asks, trying to turn his head to look at me.
"I've got two options", I say, placing my hands on his shoulders. "I could give you a massage to get rid of all this tension you got after your little tantrum. Or…I could strangle you for being so silly. You choose".
His eyes soften when he looks at me. "Can I choose the massage even if I deserve to be strangled?"
"Magic words?"
"Words? Please is just one word".
"No", I shake my head. "Not please but I'm an idiot".
"Can this idiot get a massage from his beautiful girlfriend that he doesn't deserve?"
"Of course".
I start to massage his upper back and it really feels tense. I'll need a massage myself after all this work.
"That feels really good", he mutters. "But do you know what feels better?"
"You massaging me?"
"That means I get to touch you so sure. But I meant something else", I stay quiet waiting for him to tell me. "That Thomas won't get a massage like this".
"Well, there is always the hike…".
I'm about to laugh when Rúben flips us so he can be the one on top.
"That's not funny. And I'm coming on the hike too".
"But you don't like hiking", I tease.
"I don't like when you use my jealousy against me either yet here we are", he says, now kissing my neck.
"I was just teaching you a lesson".
"Really?", he says, staring into my eyes. "Maybe I should teach you a lesson".
Yes, it's a struggle to leave the room during this holiday.

I’ve arrived with more horny william brain rot!
There is little doubt in my mind that our favorite afton to slut up likes to read. He’d probably love to share that with his darling bunny. And you absolutely know that man is making the polaroids he took into bookmarks. He just loves to see his bunny everywhere!
Bunny is in fact a college student, and sometimes certain classes end up requiring/give the option for a field trip. And that trip happens to fall on a weekend. They’re a little bummed, Willy is like actually depressed (lol), so bunny decided to hide a little something for him. As a ✨treat✨
So when afton wakes up Saturday, he reaches over for his book to read a little (because what else is there to do when his little rabbit is gone), and his usually bookmark feels a lot more lumpy than usual. So he opens it and what does he find? Polaroids of his precious, lovely bunny in nothing but his shirt, and a pair of her panties 💜
YEAH i uhhh,,
warnings: age-gap relationship (reader is 20 will is almost 40 yall know the drill), swearing, smoking, drinking, dom/sub undertones, sir kink, not proof read AGAIN IM SRY
"What? What do you mean the whole weekend?"
It had been an especially hard week for the brit at his diner. For one reason or another, it seemed as if nearly every single damn brat in that town just had to have a birthday that week. The diner was booked from start to finish every day of the week. William was frustrated. But every day drew him closer to the weekend. Closer to when he'd be able to see you again. And god did he fucking miss you. He missed his little bunny next to him; kissing them, holding them. Coming up with so many fun activities to show you.
But, it was in the past now. It was Friday. You'd be over tomorrow, and help relieve him of his pent-up stress like the good bunny you were.
Right?
Wrong.
"I knowwww, I'm sorry!" You pleaded with him at the other end of the phone, the older man taking a long, drawn out puff of his cigarette, "I just totally forgot about it until today!"
William sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, leaning against the wall, "And you're certain you have to go, love?"
"Yeah..." you sighed back, "It's required for my major. And I already rescheduled it last month, too. I can't do it again or I fail."
"Bunny, the weekends are our time together. You know this."
"I knoww, and I'm sorry! I'd stay behind if I could but I just can't. I'm sorry, Will. I'll be back for next weekend though!"
William took another puff of his cigarette, "Are you certain you can't come over even for a little? I... I miss you, bunny. It's been a tough week, and... I want you."
You let out a sympathetic hum, "I miss you too. But I have to go. I'm sorry."
"Alright." William sighed, "Fine. But don't expect to get off the hook next time I see you, little one. You need to tell me these things sooner rather than later."
The brit heard you giggle over the phone, "It'll be fine, Will. Surely you can survive two weeks without me."
"Getting smart with me now, hm?"
"No, sir."
William let out a pleased hum, "Good bunny. I'll miss you, okay? Have fun for me, alright? I'll be here waiting for you."
"I will, I will... Hey, before I forget; you remember that book you gave me, right? The old, thick and dusty one?"
"It's not old, love. It's classic."
You giggled again, "Classic, sure. Well, I finished it. I'll leave it in your mailbox before I go. Maybe that'll keep you occupied until I get back."
"Nothing could replace your company, little one. But, thank you. That's very kind."
"It's no problem. I gotta go pack now, Will. I'm sorry again. I'll see you next saturday, okay?"
"...Alright, bunny. Have fun. I love you."
"Love you too."
~~~
It was odd to have an empty house on the weekends. While William was used to Michael being away at his mother's, the house felt more depressing than usual without you in it. Dull. Grey. No life whatsoever.
William didn't drink often, not at all. He never found it to be that classy, and he wasn't about to throw his charm to the wind over alcohol. But god fucking damn it. He missed you so fucking much that Saturday afternoon. His cigarettes weren't having their usual kick to them. He needed something stronger to fill the void where you should be.
Pouring his second glass of whiskey for the evening, he couldn't help but wonder how you were. Your college was taking you an entire state away from him. Those fucking bastards. How dare they drag you so far away from him. What if you got hurt? Or in trouble? And he wasn't there to save his precious bunny? You knew his number, sure, but you were still so fucking far away from him. And a lot can happen so many miles away.
William took a large swig of the alcohol.
Fucking hell. He missed you so damn much.
He knew you didn't mean to tell him about the trip so late. You were a good bunny. Hell, he was the entire reason you didn't go when you were supposed to. He vaguely remembered convincing you to stay in town the first time you told him about it. You had just forgotten this time, surely. He couldn't stay mad at you for that. It was hard for him to stay mad at you in general. You were just too cute.
But William was miserable. He didn't want this shit to happen again. You would need to learn your lesson. And he'd make you learn it next time you were over.
But would he? Thinking of it now, it was hard for him to imagine giving you any sort of punishment. He just wanted you close to him. To pull you in his lap and kiss those sweet lips of yours. Hold you close to him. Lie down on his chest while he read his books before bed.
Oh, yes. That's right. The book he leant you. You said you'd give it back before you left.
Maybe he should take your advice. Use it to get his mind off you.
Finishing up his glass, William finished up his glass before he walked to the front door, opening and shutting it behind him as he made his way to the mailbox. The cool breeze of the sunset blew his neatly-combed hair out of place, washing over his pale skin. Upon opening up his mailbox, sure enough. The book he leant you was in there. But, it was... strange. Looked a lot fatter than normal.
The older man reached in and took the book out, brow furrowing in slight confusion. Leaning against the mailbox to shut it, the brit opened up the pages to see inside.
...
Oh.
William could feel the heat creep down his neck and cheeks.
Oh.
Oh, bunny. Sweet bunny.
Strewn about the pages was a handful of polaroid pictures. Pictures of you. In so many different positions... so many. He could see the plushness of your thighs. Your sweet little smile. Those big, gorgeous doe eyes. Your cute little pair of underwear...
You even still had some of the marks he'd given you last time you were over. And was that his dress shirt? It certainly was. How long have you had that, little one? Why, sir barely noticed that it was gone. Stealing his things now, are we? Naughty bunny.
You've been so bad recently, haven't you? William didn't much appreciate that. You had earned yourself a punishment, bunny. You probably know that just as sir does though, don't you? Was this your attempt at getting out of it?
William calmly shut the book, but quickly walked back into his house.
It worked, bunny.
For now.
translation at the bottom, italicized text is when they are speaking french because idk french
you gave the world to me
"Have you seen my parchment?" Regulus asks while searching the table.
James doesn't say anything for a while so he has to glance up at him. The guy insisted on him to study at the library. Regulus got distracted reading a book so he lost sight of the parchment he was writing on.
"Potter, did you know where it is?" Regulus repeated.
James pursed his lips without looking away from the book he was reading.
"Huh?" He asked, bewildered.
James only pursed his lips even more.
"Just speak, Potter. I have no idea what are you doing."
"It's right there." Once again, James pursed his lips. This time, pointing his head towards a certain direction.
"Are you asking for a kiss right now?"
"No, I said it's right there," James insists, pursing his lips again.
Regulus sighs, actually leaning in before being stopped by James pressing his palms on his lips. "Wait, you're actually considering it? The parchment's right there."
He smacks James at the back of his head. "Why'd you use your lips then? Just point where it is."
"I'm more focused on the fact that you considered kissing me just 'cause I said so." James smirks, not so subtly leaning towards Regulus' side.
"Distance, Prongs," Sirius suddenly interrupts. "Keep your distance."
"When did you even get here?"
"I told you I would keep an eye on you."
"Tangina naman neto oh"*, James murmured, scratching the back of his hair.
"Putain de marde, Prongs. Don't cuss at me in tagalog assuming I can't understand you." Sirius snapped.
"Gago wala naman akong maintindihan sa sinasabi mo. Tarantado ka ba?"**
"You asked for my blessing. Just keep a distance."
"Blessing? What blessing?" Regulus asked which went unnoticed.
"Pa'no ko siya liligawan kung nakasamid ka sa bawat ginagawa ko."***
Regulus can only switch glances between the two men arguing. "You two look like idiots."
"Shut up, Reg," They both say in unison.
"Not on my watch, Prongs."
"But you're always around!" James complains.
"So," James started. "Were you really trying to kiss me back in the library when you thought I wanted one?"
"Fuck off, James." Regulus really hopes his blank face can hide his flustered expression.
"No, no, let's keep talking about it."
"Why'd you go here, anyway? It's late."
"You weren't at the Great Hall today. I figured you hadn't eaten yet. I made this." James handed Regulus another circular Tupperware, color yellow this time.
By the time Regulus opens it after getting back to his dorm, an aromatic scent hits him. What greeted him seemed to be white rice with an odd-looking red meat. It looks fried with a slightly charred hint of melted sugar.
The predominantly sweet, garlicky, and slightly peppery taste is what reaches his taste buds. The meat that seems to be pork is incredibly soft. He can't help but let out a quiet moan while chewing.
With the food James kept giving him, he might gain weight sooner or later. He still didn't know what his agenda was. Even with his embarrassing stunt at the library, Regulus is quite sure James is doing it just as friends. His friends were just confusing him.
That is how James really is. He is clingy. He's sweet. He's considerate. He's flirty. That's just how the man is around his friends. He certainly does it around them too.
Like the way he always notices when Regulus hasn't eaten anything. The way he always gives him food and always tells him all these cheesy lines he barely understands since it's in another language.
How he unknowingly makes Regulus' heart flutter. How he made the stoic, cold, often emotionally devoid Regulus Black feel flustered. He does that to all his friends. That is where they are getting to, right?
Right?
"Prongs," Peter started. "Can I have one of that tocino you're making?"
"No."
*"Tangina naman neto oh." - This motherfucker.
**"Gago wala naman akong maintindihan sa sinasabi mo. Tarantado ka ba?" - I don't understand a word you said, asshole. Are you kidding me?
***"Pa'no ko siya liligawan kung nakasamid ka sa bawat ginagawa ko." - How am I supposed to court him if you're keeping an eye on every move I do.
