Oh. My. Word. It has taken 32 months, over two and a half years, and 2 NaNoWriMo events, but I have done it. I have finished the first draft of Duty Bound.

*dances with reckless abandon*

Now I only have *checks notes* 44 chapters to add C, D, and E plots to, correct for continuity, and polish up so they can be given to my beta. But guys. This story might actually finish. You might see the end of Duty Bound this year.

(No promises though, don't hold me to it, please. I can't handle the pressure.)

finished my latest story for ao3 this morning around 3am. i shan't link it because i don't feel like getting stalked and harassed again over how problematic porn makes me an awful person who deserves whatever strangers on the internet say i do so i get traumatized yet again that would be a 0/10, BUT

i wanted to announce it anyway. i'm legit proud of myself. 11k words, and i did about 2k of those words since leaving the hospital even though i'm constantly worn out and dizzy and woozy and my hands aren't working right so my typing speed is a lot worse and i'm making more mistakes

11k words. i did that. i rule. i am quite possibly the greatest writer of this or any generation

Oh my gods.... guys.... Wizard101 might finally be a reality again!!!

You don't understand... I haven't seen Natalie BlueFlower in ages... mah girl....

W101 was my pique magic Era. Like, I think this is what inherently shaped my idea of a wizard school. You choose a thing, you stick to the thing. Dabble a lil in other things, but if you're an Ice wizard, you *stay* an ice wizard.

👉👈 BlueFlower is a Thaumaturge. She collects Mounts/Pets, and can be most often found in Grizzleheim. I know for a fact as I kid I had her as the ultimate pet-trainer, but at this point I'm thinking she's a head-strong wizard who never backs down from a fight. (Even tho Thaumaturges are bad at battling alone. She fights like a Storm/Fire wizard, which she is, shockingly, not.)

Thinking I'm gonna spend tonight trying out some new armor/spell compositions :)

watched the first episode of season 2 of arcane. this was a mistake because now i need to resist the urge to watch the other two episodes of act 1 until tomorrow

You know what's fun?

They seem to have made Percy more on the inattentive end of ADHD than hyperactive. Aside from the capture the flag scene, we mostly just see him zoning out, 'daydreaming', the line "I don't think it's the marshmallow's fault I never pay attention".

ADHD barely gets good representation as it is, but I don't think I've ever seen the inattentive type in media like this before. This is going to be huge for a lot of people who don't fall under the hyperactive stereotype umbrella.

I'm just really excited that more people will get the chance to see themselves.

✨✨| For anyone wondering, the answer 'when have you gone too far' into your research is in fact, sometime beyond where I am, but my new character gave me the chance to go back to my class notes from last summer. I always knew some good would come out of hanging onto them! So if you want a cosmonaut who died in space, and misses it... and is actively taking steps to return to it, may I introduce you all to Svetlana? (The art is a work in progress, she'll get something less terrifying later on!)
