IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (please read)

hello my darlings!

i've missed you all so soooo much ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡ as some of you may know, i've been on holiday for the past month with unstable wifi, hence the mini hiatus status on my pinned bulletin but i'll be back to posting now!

this year, i know i'm going to get super super busy and i really don't want to stop writing when times get tough and i have a break down (*cough* like i did in uni *cough*) so i plan on sticking to a posting schedule yayyyyyyyyyy! ٩(｡•ㅅ•｡)و

here it is :

SATURDAYS : requests / series chapter updates (can be for any series) SUNDAYS : timestamps / oneshots (can also be requests) (posted every 09:00 GMT time)

i'm going to limit myself to a maximum of 2 posts every saturday and sunday just so i don't burn myself out by being an over achiever and i wanted to work on my people pleasing tendencies this year too

i won't be saying what i'll be posting each time just because i've learned how that really deters me from even attempting to write due to self-inflicted pressure (if you know you know ⏤ *cough* perfectionist tendencies *cough*) nevertheless! you can bet that i'll try my darnedest to consistently post every weekend so there'll be something for you darlings to look forward to and read hehehe~

i've scheduled this announcement to post the exact day my plane home touches down and i've already scheduled some things to be posted on my first weekend back; i want to get back to writing as soon as possible even though i'll probably knock out for a few days from all the travelling

Hi Alex!!!!! How are you doing today! I am very excited to read that story of yours that you were promoting!!! Within These twisted Vines, I got the anthology in paperback that I'm waiting to come in!

Bubblegum Pink: If you could only write one genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could write just one genre for the rest of my life I would have to chose translations! I love writing about my silly little guys doing silly little guy things, but I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I couldn't work on translating the original stories they are from!

Translations are like a little puzzle for me, and as a reward I get to learn about the quirks and beliefs of people long dead!

Primrose Yellow: What’s your least favourite genre to write?

Now, I mentioned in another answer that I don't quite understand genres and subgenres, but I think I can handle them enough to choose my least favorite to write: High Fantasy. I just Do Not have the brainspace to create whole ass other worlds that are not based off of our current world. Like, people *cough* Nats *cough* can create whole ass languages and worlds for their works and I just cannot fathom doing that.

I still think it's cool tho, love to read a good high fantasy every so often

Brick Red: Which character gets the happiest ending?

oh this is hard

the happiest ending? *flips through my rolodex of characters with a tragic end*

I think the happiest endings I have are for the Desecrate characters. They get to do what they need to do and move on with their lives, and I think that is the happiest outcome

There are too many deaths that affect everyone in CMI to even rank them here, though the happiest ending there would likely be Icarus' in a twisted way. Sometimes, life is more of a curse than death.

Daffodil Yellow: Does worldbuilding come easily to you?

I found that out through World Ember this year. Creating parts of my world that no one but me will see in the long run is grating. It's nice in the aspect of knowing what things are so I don't leave plot holes, but I want people to see what I create so that makes writing the world building hard for me

I also just make up random facts off the top of my head frequently lol

first of all i would like to announce that i have moved URLs

i’ve been known as natalielavida for the past 10 years or so, but i have decided to retire that URL.

i left the twitter side of the coldplay fandom today. i had a different username over there, which is my new URL name here (@luvreignoerme)

for those who may not recall/know, it’s in honor of WINAF, which is a song that i hold near and dear to my heart!

so now that that’s cleared up, let me introduce myself again! 

hi! i’m natalie! i am now 25 years old and i still very much love coldplay’s music LOL. i started this blog when i was 13 years old, and typing that out actually just made me go “oh my god....oh my GOD...” isn’t that fun?! HAHAHA

anyway, i’ve been missing coldplay tumblr for the last few years, and i’m hoping that one day we can all find our way back onto here, because i remember having so much fun on here with everyone.

i’m sure everyone has grown and changed over these past few years, so i don’t expect to relive those days of the mylo xyloto era when we were all hormonal fanfolks longing for recognition from then-30-something-year-old men LMAO

but knowing that i still have some semblance of a family on here would be extremely reassuring

I recently bought an art book on Caspar David Friedrich, whose emotional work stuck with me since I first saw it in a museum years ago. Over the course of a few weeks, I read about his life and at the same time did studies/interpretations of many pieces. It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling project; here's a good lot of them together :)

I was happy to see many people enjoyed Friedrich's work+my interpretations while posting them individually. It took way too long, but I FINALLY set up a print shop for some of these + some other pieces for those who expressed interest. Thank you so much!

Aspec men deserve much more respect and recognition in the aspec community than they receive. They often face a different form of aphobia specific to them ("men are naturally sexual they can't be ace" "all men are unromantic that's not unique") this rhetoric is spouted by many, even members of our own community and I hope for a day where that is no longer the case. As an ace and demiro woman (demigirl but that's beside the point) I want to encourage folks to take the time to give the aspec men in their lives support and to the aspec men reading, you are who you say you are no matter what people say and you deserve the world. I'm sorry for the ways in which toxic masculinity has harmed you. You are a valued member of the aspec community and the queer community as a whole. No ace or aro person is broken and neither are you. I'm sorry if anyone has ever told you otherwise.
