Assigning Major Arcana tarot cards to the extended Chromatic Crew because I'm a nerd and I can:
Killer: The Devil
Upright, The Devil represents the darker parts of oneself. It represents everything holding you back from being the best version of yourself. It could be addictions, negative behaviors or thought patterns, dependent relationships and so on. All of which apply to Killer.
The Devil is a sign of someone thinking in the short-term ignoring the long-term negative effects it'll have on them. I would say that Killer doesn't truly have a choice in the matter, however he kind of did eventually choose to leave. It was not an easy choice nor one he was aware of from the start, however it was there.
However, The Devil when reversed indicates a breakthrough. A point of change and of reaching for a better healthier future. It indicates the ability to let go of one's unhealthy attachments and habits.
It calls for you to confront your demons and free yourself from the chains keeping you bound. Needless to say, it is perfect for my boy. The Devil is a good representation of his life especially because it has such a strong emphasis on personal agency, which I think is rather important when talking about him.
Color: The Star
Upright, The Star is an incredibly hopeful card. It represents the reprieve after immense difficulty (due to the fact that it comes after The Tower in the deck). It indicates a state of internal peace, stability, and in-depth understanding of yourself and those around you. Which seems accurate for our local therapist friend.
The Star inspires you to rediscover a sense of meaning, inspiration, and purpose in life. Exploring new hobbies, meeting new people, helping others. It's the phase of Color's life after the Void. The phase that is filled with so many new and wonderful things!
Of course, as all cards, The Star also has a reversed side. A side that shows a loss of hope. A sense of being overwhelmed by the challenges, big and small, that life throws at you (something like getting stuck in the Void and suddenly possessing 6 extra souls. Just throwing that out there).
The reversed Star indicates a challenge that could make or break a person. You will either crumble under its pressure like The Tower or rise above it and rediscover your passion for life and learn to trust both yourself as well as the universe around you.
Delta: The Chariot
Upright, The Chariot symbolizes strength, willpower, and determination. The Chariot is a fighter that knows how to stand up for its values. It indicated a person with set objectives and a strong drive to achieve them. Definitely the most fitting for our local vigilante lmao.
This is a card of action. Less introspective than the other two I talked about thus far, but no less valuable. It's a card that invites you to be brave and bold with your decisions, so I'm sure that Beta would approve of it as well.
However, reversed The Chariot also warns against impulsivity and arrogance. It warns against proceeding out of pure stubbornness when it would be best to take a moment to think and consider all the possible outcomes of a situation.
It is an invitation to focus on your own inner workings from time to time, figure out what you're truly fighting for, and try to keep your goals clear in your mind even when your passion obfuscates them a bit. I don't think this kind of flaw is exclusive to Delta, I honestly think most bravery souls would probably fit this card. But that's why it's so perfect in my mind!
Epic: Strength
Upright Strength is somewhat similar in meaning to The Chariot. However, where The Chariot indicates other strength and will, the Strength speaks to your inner strength, your sense of self-confidence and your ability to persevere through the obstacles life puts in your path. It's a persistence balanced with patience. It shows commitment to your objective and acceptance of what is to come. I was thinking specifically of Epic's death comic when I picked this card for him.
To me, Epic, as silly of a character as he is sometimes, does read like someone who is extremely determined. He's less of a fighter like Delta and more someone who has reached a point in life where he has accepted his situation and who he is and is willing to persevere despite the fact that he really doesn't fucking want to.
Which brings us to the reversed meaning of the Strength card. To the inevitable loss of self-confidence that comes with such prolonged hardship. The loss of inner strength, energy, and resilience that defines Epic in a sense.
It doesn't have to define him, of course. I like to think that, in an ending where he's surrounded by the rest of the extended Chromatic Crew, he'd heed the invitation of the reversed card to take some time for himself, to recuperate and refurbish his energy. That he'd find a way to rest, truly, and that he'd recover. I know it's not really his canon ending, but, tbh, I don't care. I'm sure some version of him out there in the vast vast Multiverse got a happy ending.
Cross: The Fool
Upright, The Fool is a card all about new beginnings, opportunity, and potential. It's the beginning of a journey, the feeling of taking your first step into the unknown. In Cross' case, that came in the form of his universe being gone and him having to figure out wtf to do from then on out.
The Fool is a reminder that the time for this new beginning is NOW, even if you do not feel 100% ready for it, and even if you have no clue of where this story will take you. Just keep an open mind and an excited predisposition while you go.
Reversed, The Fool points to quite a few things. Fear of the unknown, self-doubt on whether you can even make it, a need for control, as well as a level of recklessness and hotheaded behavior that is ultimately gonna be detrimental to you. With the latter definitely being a flaw Cross struggles with a lot. My boy, he's so reckless sometimes...
Just because The Fool invites you to take a leap of fate, it doesn't mean that it tells you to disregard any consequences that may follow. However, some of those who fit The Fool tend to take that exact interpretation on board, I'm afraid...
Horror: Death
Upright, Death symbolizes the end of a major phase or aspect of your life. This can be a negative thing, but it can also open you up for new possibilities and show you what's more valuable and essential to you. I would say that's pretty fitting for when Sans became Horror...
This card encourages you to leave your past behind, no matter how hard it may be. Resisting change may cause pain, be it emotional or physical (or both looking at Horror. That guy ain't doing good. Stubborn bastard). Embracing chance is the only way to build more constructive thought patterns. And sometimes it's needed to work on yourself, change the old and bring in something new and fresh. Give yourself a chance to improve.
As you guys may have figured out by now, the reverse indicates someone who is stubbornly clinging onto the past. Someone unwilling to change even at their own detriment. Someone who'd rather stagnate and be stuck in a limbo than do any work on themselves. Boy does Horror fit this one to a Tee...
This card invites you to do some inner searching, truly get to the bottom of what works and what doesn't. And, a bit like The Fool, it encourages you to keep an open mind and proceed with caution but steadily. And maybe with some therapy Horror too can get there.
Dust: The Hermit
Upright, The Hermit shows that you're looking inward for answers as the outside world is nothing but a distraction. This deep sense of seclusion and introspection can be a good thing. It can lead to some self-discovery. It can bring you to consider deeply what your motivations, personal values, and principles are and get closer to your most authentic self. Of course, when the more you look inward, the more trauma you uncover, like in Dust's case, this can also have some not-so-desirable outcomes.
This card invites you to take life one step at a time. Don't do anything drastic. It usually indicates that you're at a pivotal moment in your life and you're considering an entirely new direction. Again, that can be good, unless what prompted this change is remembering the shitload of genocides you and all of your loved ones have been subjected to...
Reversed, The Hermit can indicate that either you aren't taking enough time for personal reflection, or you're taking too much. It can mean that you're so focused on your objectives that you've let yourself come undone and need to take time to rebuild your sense of self up. Or it can mean that you're nitpicking at your flaws so much, that you ended up isolating yourself entirely, taking it too far. You've become so absorbed in your personal struggles that you've shut down your friends and family and stopped taking into account their needs. In Dust's case, I'll be honest, I think it's a bit of both.
The reversed Hermit invites you to reconnect and open up to those around you. Seek help in others if need be. And Dust certainly does need it.

~ Slow dance ~ Indulgent artpiece for my melancholy soul! Inspired by the song: VĆ„r sista dans! Explanation of the song choice/text under read more for those of you who want a deep dive :D
So here is my rambling about the song that inspired this piece and I shall share with you all the lore of this really old Swedish song. The song is called āVĆ„r sista dansā which translates into āOur last danceā. It's from the genre that in Sweden is called ādansbandā but could most certainly be called a ballad of sort. From my limited knowledge (bestowed upon me by both my curiosity and grandparents) these sort of songs would play before the establishment was supposed to close for the night. A slow, intimate song for all the couples in the audience. This song is however rather āmodernā, measured in how long this genre was around. The song's protagonist sings about how this is their last dance with their significant other. There are a few lines which alludes to the fact that some promises has been broken and that the winds of destiny have changed. Still the entire song is them begging the person they love to still hold them, to give it one more chance and to remember that they were their loved one (the word used is ākƤraā which is an old fashioned way to refer to a significant other). Some lines really stuck with me for this piece and I'll allow myself to share those: āSĆ„ hĆ„ll mig hĆ„rt Ƥr allt jag ber dig, som ingen annan fanns.ā āSo hold me tight, that's all I'm asking for, as if no one else existed.ā āNƤr musiken dƶr ut och dansgolvet tƶms ska jag stĆ„. Ensam kvar, det Ƥr slut. Fƶrkrossad ska jag se dig gĆ„.ā āWhen the music dies out and the dance floor empties there I'll stand. All alone, this is the end, With heartbreak I'll watch you leave.ā
All of this just resonates with me, as the never ending sentimentalist I am and with all my headcanons about two broken people trying to grasp what ānormalityā they can ever get. Of trying to have just one dance, not weighed down by all of the events that have and will transpire.
If you read this all: thank you, for listening to me ramble about old Swedish songs from my childhood! :D

I'm writing out my overarching headcanon about VIncent's life and how Gaia and it's people looked pre-SOLDIER program because I want too:
I'm of the mind that in Vincent's era, there was a lot of growth like we have in our own day and age, much like the 50s-70s, Midgar would have been a work in progress. Maybe only one or two upper plates would be finished and livable, but a sizable undercity was already underway to growth.
I believe that this would be when the beginning of the science department of Shinra would truly begin, so Shinra would have been using the Turks as more of their heavy hitters as SOLDIER was still a small budding program being thought up by Shinra's defense department.
Seeing as the war between Wutai and Shinra didn't happen until 1985, I'm going to go under the assumption that they were in a cold war with each other ever since the power company began building reactors, so the Turks would be much more utilized than they are now.
I have the headcanon that Vincent and Veld were partners or at least worked with each other when they were in the Turks and their missions would have looked like those of spies and government agents (with different rankings and capabilities. Not everyone would have the same job just like a normal government job.)
I also love the idea of their world having similar clothing styles and music to ours during those years, so Vincent and Veld would have been young adults in the 60's and 70's.
I also think that with what happened to Vincent (getting shot and killed by Hojo), he did actually die physically (lurcrecia even talks about how she can't stop the decaying when talking about Vincent in the tank in DoC) so there would be a loss of memory that Vincent would have from actually dying and being dead for however long.
Like sure, his memory loss could have been slowed by the Mako and experiments, but there would be SOME memory loss. So I think that the man we know now is not the whole Vincent he would have been. The reason I say that is because a lot of the memories he does have are from times at Shinra Manor and nothing really else. It's mostly from Shelke's POV that we get the remaining memories about Vincent's past, and that is from Lucrecia's POV of how she saw Vincent. So my HC is that Vincent has a lot more to him than he remembers about himself.
Anyway long-winded explanation of why I think Vincent Valentine has more than meets the eye and I can justify my more fun version of him XD
Back to it. Here's where my headcanons come in heavy:
I think Vincent's mother is a Wutainese woman, Grimiore having met her in his early years of exploration as a scientist, before things with Shinra started to get more competitive. I believe that when Vincent was a teenager, his mother left for Wutai due to the simmering tensions between the two powers, unable to take him with her as he had no citizenship there and I do not see him wanting to leave his home.
Vincent and Grimiore don't get a long for a while because Vincent thinks his father should have convinced her to stay. He joins the Turks at a young age, having met Veld (who I think is at least a decade older than Vincent) who worked with his father, not really knowing about the ins and outs of what a cold war meant or even who was the aggressor in the conflict. He knew his father worked for Shinra and they were bringing progress to their city and home, wanting to help any way he could.
#Vincent Valentine#Veld Dragoon#headcanon#ff7#final fantasy 7#final fantasy vii#ffvii#Always feel free to be inspired by anything I write#I would literally read five million words about the same shit over and over again

Headcanon post - Dan Feng, Dan Heng &. the Shackling Prison
1. Questline Commentary - DH returning to the SP
I've already spoken on this a bit, but here a summary of my impressions: I wished there was a greater focus on DH during this entire sequence since his very existence is so closely tied to the SP. I liked that we at least got acknowledgement of DH having been there before (since I don't expect casual players to even know/remember this about him). What I disliked was the nonchalance. I'm not arguing that he should have refused going. I like that he went, but that decision should have had a greater focus. The SP is associated with many traumatic memories for DH and also DF, whose memories DH has at least partial access to. DH was quite literally born inside that prison and didn't see sunlight until Jing Yuan managed to push for his release.
2. Some minor add-ons relevant to my portrayal of DH
DH doesn't openly display his feelings about returning to the SP, but he still very much feels them. He will push through and do what he needs to do for Jing Yuan and the Express. He will take his role as protector very seriously, as he always has. However, once he is alone back in the archives, he'll fall apart. He'll heave and weep and shake while muffling his sounds because he doesn't want to worry anyone with his reactions. He may be more quiet than usual for a while after all this is dealt with, but he won't discuss any of it unless confronted by those he cares about.
3. DF's treatment in the SP
(tw for various torture methods)
I'll keep this brief since what we are explicitly told in game (whether during this quest or lore found in texts, etc.) is quite distressing.
Following the sedition, DF was moved to the SP. There, he remained until his (tempered with) molting rebirth. Prior to his death, he was made to endure horrible cold (referenced by Hanya in the new quest) as well as nails which were embedded into his back to quite literally hold him aloft:
"This place is filled with the cold air from the Northern Peak of the Polar Delve. Even the toughest long-life species would have a hard time enduring this."
"He dreamed of the Dracocatena Nails being staked into his body, and chains of corallium winding around him to hang him in midair in the Shackling Prison. He dreamed the elders coming and going to interrogate him about the truth of the Arcanum and the whereabouts of the dragon heart. He did not speak."
I wouldn't be surprised if the interrogations included the use of torture to get DF to finally speak - without success, obviously.
Since DF wasn't allowed to die as such, he was to undergo molting rebirth. I've seen screenshots of texts in the CN version of the game where said molting is alluded to involve a literal descaling (of DF's tail). I'd take this with a grain of salt since I can't find those mentions now, but I consider it canon for my take on DF at least.
4. DH's treatment in the SP
As I already mentioned, DH was born in the SP. As far as I know, we have no time frame of how long he was in there prior to being let go, but I personally set it at around 50 years. In this time, he had no explanation for why he was there, didn't know anything about DF and their relation, and was completely isolated outside of interactions with guards, elders, and Jing Yuan. He had books for enrichment, but he never once saw the world outside until the day he was released.
"The most notorious felons are locked away in solitary delves deep down in the prison. Those delves can't be opened without proper authorization."
While DH technically should have been seen as a separate entity from DF, it's clear that this wasn't the case. Jing Yuan had to push hard for his release, and even then it was still a touchy issue. I wouldn't be surprised if DH was mistreated while in the SP, but I also think that Jing Yuan would have done his hardest to put a stop to it as soon as he was made aware.
Edit: Something else I remembered is that the cell DH (and likely DF) was kept in was without light. This is stated in the description of his LC:
From birth, all that ever lay before him was but a lightless dungeon. To this darkness, irrelevant sins bound him... irrelevant memories engulfed him. He writhed, gasping for breath with every fiber of his being, attempting to clasp a sliver of light in this fathomless ocean.
5. Summary
In short: DH has a lot of trauma associated with the SP. He also is willing to return there for his friends and for Jing Yuan. Will he come out of that experience mentally/emotionally unscathed? Hell no!
-slaps DH on the back- This bad boy can fit so much trauma in it!!!
Anyway, thanks for bearing with my rambling. I might ramble even more, but for now it's time to crash. Hugs and kisses.

Love your stuff!!!! The way you draw morro is lovely and I'm wondering if its apart some kind of AU or something I can read into?? I need lore !!!! /nf
AHHSJSK THANK YOU!! AAA
OKAY. So, this is going to be a bit long winded so bare with me, the answer to that question is yes and no. How I draw him generally with the scars and stuff is just how I draw him because of a headcanon I have based around how he died which was a combo of the Kethanol geyser and hypoxia. However, the way I draw him ārevivedā is a part of an AU that Iāve been (slowly) working on. Itās nothing fancy, just another one of the hundreds of āOkay guys here me out on this one. What if, now this is REALLY crazy, what if Morro came back and he got an actual redemption arc. Thoughts?ā Kinds of AUās. It doesnāt have a name yet and there isnāt much I can tell aside from the fact that Hoshi, the cat I draw him with, is a major part of it (sheās the reincarnate/the host body for the first wind elemental). The original plan for it which has been scrapped sorta was that his powers were fading/slipping because heās been dead for so long but that conflicts with how I headcanon cursed spirits to be. Now itās something similar but it's been stuck in WIP hell for a while so it's not as fleshed out as I want it to be to share with people yet.
The only major difference between how I draw Morro normally (ghost) and how I draw him in AU drawings is their ages and hair lengths. Morro (Ghost) is 16 and has shorter hair, and also looks more similar to his mini figure/canon design, and Morro (Revived) is 19-20 and has longer hair. I also tend to draw him in civilian clothes the most just because I don't have a design for his ninja uniform yet.
There's also designs I have that have been on the back burner/havenāt been drawn yet that I havenāt posted about yet, and those being Movie Auās and other fun what if stuff.
Sorry if this isn't the kind of explanation you wanted aa :,D
Bonus AU art because I've been meaning to post it and its finally relivant:

congrats on the pregnancy!!! š„³š any ideas for baby names yet?
also, if your title is right and requests are open, could i request some protective redestro headcanons or a scenario/imagine? like his s/o or a teammate/other family member gets hurt during a mass fight or threatened by another group? (bonus if he gets all monstrous)
thats the good shit i cant stop thinking about š©
(Thank you! Unfortunately 10 million names for a girl and about 5 for a boy. Luckily my husband has stepped in with his list so we can do a formal comparison eventually!)
(And thank you for the Des content request since he's been on my mind heavy lately!)
~A Different Person~
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up
"A different person" is the right way to describe the situation at hand. The man standing in front of you was not the man you thought he was...
It probably started about a month ago when you overheard his conversation on the phone with a rising rival group trying to usurp the Liberation army and bring a bad name to Destro's legacy. Of course you weren't worried about it. The stronghold of the MLA could withstand any little group. Trumpet's magnificent hold on the people of Deika, Chitose's bold ability to clear the path in front of her, Geten's sheer determination and will power, Skeptic's advanced technology and his calculated use of meta ability...no one would could come close to shaking them up. So you shrugged and went about your day as though nothing was wrong. However, as the days went on, you grew more and more concerned with the air around you. It always felt as through you were being followed and this time not by Skeptic's usual surveillance. No, there was something more sinister at play.
After weeks of feeling odd, the day you finally went to announce your concerns was the exact day this rival group decided to strike. While Everyone was else was busy making quick work of the members around them, you were unfortunately on your own. Although it only lasted long enough for you to get a small gash on your arm, it was still the most uncomfortable 5 minutes of your life. The minute the other group attacked, Rikiya had set out to find you on his own. Much to the other's dismay of him leaving Detnerat himself, he ventured out and didn't take long to find you.
Oh but we he found you and saw that gash, it was probably the first time you'd ever seen this man angry in all of the time you've spent together. Even more so, this was the first time you'd seen his meta ability in action and also the first time you'd seen blood on his hands as well. And it was that very same blood stained hand that lowered itself in front of you. You hesitate for a moment before stepping onto the palm and grabbing hold of his thumb. You didn't let go of the large appendage until he made it back to Detnerat. He carefully lowered his hand and waited for you step off before shrinking back down to size. It seemed impossible to make eye contact with you in the moment. It truly shocked him when you pulled him into a tight hug before uttering a shaky 'What the fuck?'
Out came a long winded explanation and solid apologies strung out for nearly 20 minutes it would feel like. "I hid myself from you because I'm well aware a meta ability like this isn't exactly the most desirable in a partner." You sighed and shook your head. "So you mean to tell me that you spent all this time hiding yourself from me because you were scared of running me away?" He stares flatly before raising his hand up and showing it to you you again. "Is this not something that terrifies you?" He asks, gesturing at the blood covered palm. "This meta ability has killed..."
"And it's that same meta ability that has protected me today and who knows how many other times without me even knowing! It's not like I'll cower away from you now, silly. I've fallen in too deep at this point and besides." You smile and close the space between you two as you pull him into another hug. "It's no more scarier than Tomoyasu's puppet ability. Scared the crap out of me 2 weeks ago when he turned one of the filing cabinets without me knowing." Rikiya chuckled lightly and reciprocated the hug. "Let's get you to a hospital. I'm absolutely unhappy with the size of that gash right now." His voice muffled in your hair. You laugh quietly.
"Can you turn really huge again? I kind of like riding in your hand. It's like a carnival without ticket costs."
"Hmmm, perhaps another time. Hopefully for now..." He pauses and lifts you into his arms. "maybe this will suffice?"
You smile and nod.

Hello there!
Hope you're doing good, enjoying your life!
I just had a beautiful (and tiring) day with my boyfriend, we went to ski and then an idea pops in my head.
COD boys + Los Vaqueros + Kƶnig (yes i need my babygirl) with Male Reader who teachs them how to ski in Montreal! (or wherever you want, i'm just a proud canadian)
You can make it as a headcanon or short story. And hope you can enjoy doing it, if you're not confy with it, fine by me.
Have a wonderful day/night and don't forget to drink water. Ciao!
That sounds like such a good time!
I didn't specify a place in any of these except Kƶnig's, but where I live Austria and Switzerland are the most common ski vacation destinations so most of what I know about skiing is based on that so I hope it's not too different
I hope you don't mind I left out Rudy for now, I really need to replay the game to get a better grip on his character. That being said this is my first time writing for COD so I'm still working on my characterization a little.
Thank you for requesting :)
Warnings: none! Except for possible inaccuracies because I've never been skiing
M!reader
Being taught to ski by the 141 + Los Vaqueros + Kƶnig
Ghost
Ghost is in his element. A ski piste is one of the only places in day to day life where a balaclava doesn't stand out.
It's nice to not draw the attention for once.
Would like to try snowboarding as well.
He probably picked up skiing once for a job, so he knows what he's doing relatively well.
Ghost is a man of few words, so he's probably not going to give you long winded explanations. He'll explain the basics, do a little demonstration, and then let you try it and correct where needed.
Its a little impersonal at times, but it's effective. If you look closely though, you might notice the soft look in his eyes.
Soap
Soap is mostly looking forward to the AprĆØs-ski.
A day of having fun with you in the snow and then ending it with a party or just a cozy couple of drinks together, it's perfect to him.
Soap finds a lot of pleasure in the little things. Some fun activities, sneaking some spiked hot drinks, and some good food, and he's the happiest man on earth.
He barely knows what he's doing himself, but he makes up for it in enthusiasm. You'll figure it out together as you go!
It's a small miracle neither of you got hurt.
Price
Price really deserves the vacation.
Like Soap, he's looking forward to tiring himself out during the day and then relaxing with good food, a couple of drinks, and a cigar in the evening.
Also picked up the skill for a job, but mastered it.
This man is used to training soldiers, so he's a good teacher. His rookies definitely don't get the soft treatment you do, though. He's all praise and encouraging smiles.
He's surprisingly relaxed out here. As busy as he is with work, he cherishes any quality time he gets with you.
Gaz
This man has no idea what he's doing.
Gaz has no intention of breaking a leg however, so he'll go the extra mile to hire a professional teacher.
He's a fast learner though, and he will tease you about it. All in good nature of course.
"Aw, c'mon, love. It's not that hard."
It is. It is that hard.
He'll use his advantage to help you a bit, and the instructor is probably rolling his eyes a little at his horrible flirting.
You get your revenge later when you get to laugh at him as he takes a tumble.
Alejandro
Alejandro doesn't have the most experience either, but he knows what he's doing relatively well.
He takes the opportunity to float with you, making suggestive comments between compliments and getting a little handsy while correcting your stance.
Expect a lot of showing off. He's trying to impress you.
Kƶnig
Ski King.
Austria is known for its ski tourism. You're in Kƶnig's domain now.
He's a great teacher, but can be a little impatient. Not that he would get irritated with you, but he's just so excited and can't wait to start!
He'd teach you the very basics, everything you need to know to have fun and don't die, and then he'd figure you'll get a grip on it as you go.
Even despite his impatience, he'd still be considerate. Especially at first, he'll start off only going short distances before stopping to check in on you, only feeling comfortable going further after making sure you're good.
He's as chaotic out there as he is on the field. It's incredibly amusing and kind of endearing to see him enjoy himself like that.

Hi! I just saw that you wish for some Camilo Madrigal ask. And here I shall give! Because let's be real, many of us just love that boy so much!!!
Okay, may I have some fluff in which Camilo, and possibly the rest of the Madrigals, discover that gn!Reader (you can have the reader as female if you want, I don't mind) also was blessed with a gift that reader can control all 4 elements through music (both by singing and playing a stringed instrument)? You may choose any scenarios and whether this can be a headcanon or a oneshot.
Have fun writing and Happy Holidays!! šš

gosh i'm so sorry these requests are taking so long to complete, there's a number of reasons for it but i'm gonna try and speed up because i am so bad at this lmaooo
pairing: camilo madrigal x gn!reader
type: headcanons, fluff
summary: how camilo and his family react to you having an elemental gift.
---
- when camilo first met you, he was shocked to say the least
- his family were the only ones in encanto known to possess these magical gifts, so who on earth were you? he had no clue that you were a miracle in itself, and you were the reason for the delicate candle in your house.
- "but you're not a madrigal!" he stated, quite obviously, but what else would you expect from a young child with no manners?
- even so, he thought your gift was cool. yet his was cooler.
- you were the only one in your family to have a gift and although it's not too useful in the long run, you can still do some pretty cool things with it
- with both your parents being musicians you were expected to learn many stringed instruments from the moment you could form a grip on them, and it was the same with singing
- you could control the speed of water and manipulate it with your voice, dictate the flicker of a flame with a guitar, guide the wind with a mandolin, and manage the very earth with a harp (however you used the harp the least for it was too much effort to haul around all the time, and why would anyone need to move the earth when luisa's around?)
- music is your passion, and it's how you met camilo in the first place
- he heard someone playing the mandolin when he was out playing as a kid, so of course he went to investigate and he was shocked to see someone his own age playing at such a skilled level, and somehow the wind had picked up quite harshly and continued to get harsher the more intensely you played
- you jumped once you caught him staring in awe and the wind noticeably calmed down (which was probably for the best, your tiny bodies would've called anything more a hurricane)
- he stayed silent for a few moments, trying to process what on earth had just happened before speaking up
- "did you do that?" he asked in shock, wondering how on earth you'd manage to do such a thing. was there another family with a miracle? why had he never seen you before? surely abuela would know of another burning candle!
- "did i do what?" you asked, dumbfounded. this was just second nature to you by now, you'd forgotten nobody else could do such a thing as control the weather (save for pepa, which is probably what struck the young boy so hard)
- "the wind!"
- after an awkward explanation and a newfound admiration from camilo, you made your way home, having gained a new friend that day.
- you managed to find him in the same spot the following day where he invited you to his home to meet his family, which intimidated you from the moment it was mentioned
- "you mean... the madrigals?" you asked in awe, meeting just one of them was scary enough!
- even so, you agreed to stay for dinner that same evening, so you dragged camilo back to your place to tell your own family
- there was a mix of emotions surrounding this whole shebang; you'd tried your best to hide this little - big - secret for as long as you could, and now things could go one of two ways as the madrigals were undoubtedly the most respected people in the town
- camilo assured them that you would be completely safe and they wouldn't think negatively of you, yet they were still on edge, but they let you go nonetheless
- and boy was that the greatest day of your life
- not only did it start countless new friendships with each member of the family, but it opened their eyes to possibilities of more people like them, people who could put their gifts to good use and help the ordinary people of encanto more than ever before
- you borrowed instruments and used your voice to give them a little performance, watching as their eyes gleamed with anticipation as your gift seemed more and more magical the longer you went on
- it was safe to say that you were basically one of them now, so you spent most of your dinner times at casita from then on
- when antonio was born you helped pepa with him, playing and singing him lullabies and creating a soothing atmosphere
- and as you got older, you began writing your own songs, and most of them were written for camilo, and he loved them
- these songs became more and more personal, as if there were hidden feelings behind the words you sung (well, that's because there were hidden feelings behind the words you sung)
- by the time you were fifteen, you had realised that you were in love with camilo, and dolores had perhaps let it slip to you that she overheard camilo talking to mirabel about his feelings towards you, too, so you made the daunting decision to confess
- even though you knew camilo reciprocated your feelings, you were still nervous
- what if dolores was lying, or what if she had misunderstood? what if camilo's feelings had changed, or what if he was never talking about you in the first place? thousands of thoughts plagued your mind
- when you sat down infront of him to perform your new song (which you had brought the harp out for), you told him to listen closely to the lyrics
- it was all or nothing. you were about to gain a boyfriend, or lose your best friend. forever.
- he noticed your nerves though he chose to keep quiet about it
- as you began to sing, the river beside you flowed slowly to match your delicate voice and the earth around you began to morph into figures of your imagination, figures of you and him
- he watched closely while listening to what you were singing, and he couldn't quite believe it
- all this time he'd been pining for you, and here you were, saying you felt the same way? it was a dream, really
- cue dolores grinning manically from casita
- from that day forward you and camilo were a happy couple, even if you did have to put up with constant jabs from his family and yours, though they were all in good nature
- ten years on you were living in casita with your own triplets and rings on your fingers, the magic from your blood and his making both candles burn brighter than ever, bringing new gifts into the world and new ways to aid encanto.

Finished my reference for Wind, which is set out completely different from my Hyrule reference because consistency is for suckers! Putting little detail explanations under the readmore.
Wind is such a joy to draw and I wanted to emphasize how well travelled he is and how much he values his home in the ref so:
Telescope and Sword sheaths both have paintings on them that his Grandma has done, inspired by my own Nanna who has gifted me many pencil and pen holders over the years with hand painted illustrations on them. Lets say the telescope one is done post-WW when Aryll decides he can keep her telescope with him as long as he was traveling, and the sword sheath post-PH cause I tried to reference that in its design despite not having played PH since I was a kid.
This also isn't in the reference but I'm just going to add it while im discussing Wind headcanons, I like to imagine that Tetra, Aryll and Linebeck all have pirate charms like Wind so whenever Wind is in his time period he can talk to them all. Wind's is blue of course, Tetra's is red, Linebeck's is yellow and Aryll's is green.
The spoils bag looks about the same as canon, tho the purple may be a bit redder. Bait bag however got a complete palette swap! Im gonna saw it was Aryll's idea and she was helped by their neighbor Rosie, whose giant black pig was the reference for the new design.
And then there's the mail bag. It has a bunch of little patches sewn on it now that references different WW Islands. I like to think Wind collects them and he will totally find more during his timetravelling adventure. On the bag currently there is: - Proclaiming him Champion of the Flight Control Deck in reference to one of WW's Piece of Heart missions.
- A windmill patch for Windfall,
- The tip of Forest Haven where the Deku Tree's leaves poke out from the the island's top
- One of the triangle islands that surround the Tower Of Gods, including statue I could not be bothered getting a ref for and is hence an inbetween design of the statues before and after the tower raises.
- A close up of a chu chu which lets say is Pawprint isle
- Valoo on the top of Dragon Roost Island
- In the top right its cut off but dark waves crashing against the rocks which is intended to reference the Forsaken Fortress.
Yeah I put too much effort into those for them to come out absolutely tiny.
#Can you tell I like Windwaker a lot?#Because I do#And I recently started another playthrough#I can also now pull up this file whenever I need to reference Wind so thats useful#peas makes LoZ Stuff#Peas makes LU Stuff#LoZ#Linked Universe#Peas' Art Archival#Peas' Art

Hi! For the fanfic ask game, 6, 7, and 28 for a delicate balance and lost in you still! (pairing is zutara ofc)
Hey, darling! I hope you're having a wonderful day!
6. If youāre really concentrating, how many words can you write in a day?
I majored in both English and creative writing because I'm a masochist who made the same mistake as John Mulaney by majoring in a language I ALREADY SPOKE and my approach to writing papers/poems/stories/etc. was pretty much "think about it a lot in the weeks leading up to the due date, do nothing about it, then write it all the night before and get an A." And LOOK. I know that's not a healthy approach, okay? I know it's not rational and it shouldn't be done. I do NOT recommend it. It's a habit I'm having to break myself of because it's just not sustainable. HOWEVER. The only reason I started doing that was because I spent literal MONTHS writing a paper for an art history class I had to take in order to meet core requirements (it wasn't even part of my MAJOR or MINOR) and I ended up with a C. A C. I had never gotten a C on a paper before in my LIFE. It destroyed me.
After that I had an attitude of, "Well, if I'm going to spend all this time on a FIFTY PAGE PAPER about ONE MINUSCULE PIECE OF ART only to get a C... Then I'm done. I'm going to half-ass my papers forever because I CAN'T COPE." And then it backfired on me. Every paper/poem/story/etc. that I wrote in a night earned me an A. Which just reinforced what I was doing. So now I can either write thousands of words in one sitting or ten words in a day. There is no in between. And all of this is just a long, unasked for explanation for my actual answer to this question which is:
If I'm REALLY focused? If I'm not procrastinating on Tumblr? If I'm not too drawn into my original works? š¤£ A couple thousand. Though I've been able to crank out a chapter or two of Wind-Songs in the Pines in a day and those usually clock in around 4k.
7. Which part of writing do you struggle with most?
Descriptions are the bane of my existence. Specifically when it comes to settings. I feel like I'm never doing enough to set a scene. But then I try to force more of that into a story and it feels like I'm trying too hard.
28. In [x fic], what is a happy, post-fic headcanon you have about [pairing]? (I'll definitely answer this question more than once if anyone else wants to ask it!!)
Okay! Happy, post-fic headcanons for A Delicate Balance and Lost In You Still coming right up!
A Delicate Balance
It doesn't take long at all for Katara and Zuko to move in together. They're together maybe four or five months when it happens. And it all arises because Katara realizes she never gave Zuko back his spare key after that first morning. When she goes to give it back to him, he looks at the key, looks at all of her things that have migrated into his place, and is just like, "My lease is almost up. She's here almost every night anyway. Maybe she and I should look for a place together." Of course, he goes about it in the most bumbling way possible and part of him is terrified that Katara only says yes because she wants to get away from Sokka and Suki, the fic's token Gross Couple (affectionate). But then she comes to him with like 30 different places that they could rent (all of which have a dedicated room that he can use as a home office while he gets his business off the ground and east-facing bedroom windows because she knows he loves mornings) and he realizes she's just as excited about it as he is.
Lost In You Still
Oh, gosh! I feel like I've talked about my end of story headcanons for this fic a lot, but there's always more I want to share. Here is a lil one for ya!
Every year, Zuko and Katara make sure to take the kids to celebrate the winter solstice in the Southern Water Tribe. They go not only because they want the kids to appreciate their Water Tribe heritage but also to celebrate their anniversary. And every year until she passes, they ask Kanna to tell the story of Tui and Malina, just as she did at their wedding. And when she's gone, Hakoda willingly steps up to continue the tradition.
Behind the scenes asks!

You mentioned language/writing disorders in your handwriting headcanons. I'm curious about them since I know very little about those disorders [I only know a bit about dyslexia cuz my cousin has it]. Would you mind talking about them? Please and thank you.
Iām more than happy to share these language headcanons with yāall!! c:
For now, Iāll just address the two disorders I mentioned here, aphasia and agraphia
Quick disclaimer: I am not a professional and Iām very much still learning about language disorders. To be fair, itās been only about a year and a half since I found out aphasia existed at all. All my knowledge on these disorders come from a couple of classes in my applied linguistics and phonetics courses and my own research. I encourage everyone interested in incorporating any type of condition into their writing to do your own research as Iām sure youāll find better explanations than mine out there <3
I love seeing everyoneās take on Linkās lack of speech. Iāve seen people writing Link as hard of hearing, mute, autistic and all of them are amazing ideas that Iām sure represent many people in the fandom. However, I have yet to find someone who has attributed him a specific language disorder (and if you know of anyone, please let me know!!!)
Funnily enough, I havenāt played BoTW yet my headcanons are for that Link
My language headcanons for Wild (in both LU and general LoZ)
If the shrine could cause him total memory loss, or amnesia, I consider it very plausible that other areas of his brain were affected as well. After all, he died and his brain must have been inactive for quite a few minutes which is obviously big yikes in any situation. So, inactivity/damage in the brain = possible language disorder/expressive aphasia
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Language disorders are, basically, of two kinds: those which affect comprehension speech and those which affect production of speech. For Wildās case we are of course looking at the latter. There are two areas in the brain that are responsible for language: Wernickeās area and Brocaās area. Wernickeās area is involved in the comprehension of language (both written and spoken), while Brocaās is responsible for the production of language. Damage to either one of these parts is likely to result in one type of aphasia.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Aphasia is the loss of language comprehension and production due to damage in one area of the brain. Common causes are strokes and head trauma. There are many types of aphasia but for the sake of brevity, Iāll just focus on Brocaās aphasia or Expressive aphasia, which is the specific condition I headcanon Wild to have.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Although its name is a bit confusing, Expressive aphasia prevents Wild from creating complete sentences. He would be able to speak, but his sentences would mostly consist of words with meaning (horse, house, beautiful) and will be missing articles and prepositions (the, this, a, on); he wouldnāt be able to create grammatically correct sentences, his speech would be slow and something like: Ā morningā¦.uhā¦Iā¦erā¦firstā¦ uhā¦. Appleā¦ appleā¦ erā¦. Eat... (The first thing I ate in the morning was an apple).
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The biggest issue is that expressive aphasia doesnāt affect language comprehension as much as it affects production. Wild could be able to understand written and spoken language with mild limitations (can read simple sentences but might have problems with indirect speech and multiple-subject sentences) And I say biggest issue because most patients with aphasia are aware of their struggles. Their intelligend is unaffected. Wild would be very aware that he is missing some words. This often leads to feelings of frustration and insecurity.
Think of expressive aphasia as āI know the word for it, but I cannot remember what it isā butā¦ for most of your vocabulary.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā However, aphasia can be ātreatedā with speech therapy. Language will not be the same as before, but it can get better. And there are many cases of people with aphasia using sign language as means of communication because gestures are produced/perceived by a brain area different to language areas! So, Wild would prefer to be mostly silent and use sign language to communicate with strangers, but would feel more comfortable speaking with close friends like Zelda and Twi, who he knows will be patient with him so he doesnāt have to worry about taking long to remember words.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The other language disorder I mentioned was apraxia, but I meant to write agraphia. However, it is still relatively new to me and I havenāt had the chance to find enough material to work with, so Iām still not sure if Iāll ever really to commit to this headcanon.
But long story short, agraphia often appears with other disorders (like aphasia), there are so many types of agraphia! some affect the movement areas while others affect language areas in the brain. When there is no sign of other disorders itās called pure agraphia and itās the inability to write while still being able to read and speak. People with agraphia might have problems sounding out words, making sound-to-letter connections and they sometimes heavily rely on their orthographic memory for writing which results in frequent spelling errors.
As for Wind, Iāve been considering either agraphia or aphasia for him as well since he has been thrown against walls enough times, hard enough to cause at least some concussions :( that battle with Ganondorf? Yikes! But since he is young ā¢, he has a greater chance at easily strengthening his remaining language skills, they will not be on the same level as kids his age, but thereās the possibility of getting better than Wild with less difficulty.
So, tldr:
Brocaās Aphasia: loss of language production, can understand with mild difficulties but has problems coming up with complete sentences and speech is robot-like.
Agraphia: loss of the ability to write due to either damage to motor areas or language areas in the brain. Can read and speak with mild difficulties but has problems producing written language.
I definitely didnāt expect this to be so long š Iām sorry! I hope I was clear š still, I had a good time writing this since I never had the opportunity during my classes, so thank you so much for asking, Silver!! šš
If you got this far, then you might want to be check my handwriting headcanons. If you have a hc about language/culture (or any type, tbh), feel free to share them with me anytime! Iād love to read them!!! š
#linkeduniverse#linked universe#silverdragonms#ask#silver#lu headcanons#lu wind#lu wild#I'll probably have to edit this later#ksksksk#thanks for asking silver#this helped me reconsider many things#and assess my understanding of the conditions#it was a good practice! c:#and I'm always happy to talk about neurolinguistics so *vibrates in excitement*

If LU was an anime (VA headcanons)
Okay so! A while back I uploaded a video (which you can find here) giving the LU boys voice actors. And in the description of said video, I promised that I was going to post a list of explanations for my voices and link it. Which I am only doing now.
These choices, bar a few, are my own personal opinion, so I'd love to hear your thoughts about them! I spent far to long working and watching anime for this but I am pretty happy with the end result, bar one (glares at Four). So I hope you enjoy! And prepare yourself. Cause this is LONG.
Legend - Vic Mignoga (Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
So fun fact. Back when I first discovered LU, I almost immediately imaged Leg with this voice. He had strong Ed vibes for me and when I started making this list, he was the only one I immediately knew was perfect. At least to me. It just has that quality; the snark with the capability of being genuine and emotional (I do apologise if the voice clips I included in the video made you sad. That's a hazard of FMA). I didn't consider anyone else for Legend, even though I did briefly consider Vic Mignoga for Warriors (more on that later).
Sky - Aleks Le (Zenitsu Agatsuma from Demon Slayer)
Man, I considered a fair few KnY voices for this list, including the voice of Tanjiro for Wild and the voice of Giyu for Twilight. But this is the one that stuck. I was struck between Sky having a youthful, soft voice or an older, soft voice (I knew his voice had to be soft. I mean. It's Sky.)
I watched the dub of Demon Slayer solely for this and it never would've occurred to me to consider Zenitsu's voice for Sky. But as the show progressed and I heard it when he wasn't... you know... begging some poor lass to marry him, I realised he actually has quite a soft voice. And when I heard it get all serious I thought "Yep. That works." And thus I placed Aleks Le as the Chosen Hero. You could argue that his voice is a bit too youthful for him but I still think it works.
Wind - Amanda Miller (Boruto from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
Ugh. Ugh. *increasing sounds of disgust*. I hate this.
But let's start from the beginning. Right off the bat, I was 99.9% sure Wind would be voiced by a woman. Okay so he's not 10 (that will make more sense in a second), but he's still pretty young and I imagine him with quite a youthful voice. For him, I considered Sarah Natochenny, the current voice of Ash Ketchum in PokƩmon, and also Colleen Clickenbeard's voice for Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece. But these two voices shared the same problem. They were too raspy. I just cannot see Wind with a raspy voice. I guess if you really, really, really focus on it it could work but I just could get it to work for me hfff.
And then... ugh. I spoke to a mate about. He doesn't know about LU so I just told him I was making voice headcanons and couldn't think of a good one for a 14 year old boy. And he said "have you heard Boruto's English voice?" And I think my response was something along the lines of, "Ben, I have standards." But he insisted it would probably work so I watched a clip of Boruto on YouTube and much to my horror, it did seem to work. But there was problem. None of the clips had lines I could picture Wind saying. And because of that I was struggling to actually give Wind the voice. But something told me that it was the right one so... I... *shudders*... watched Boruto. I watched I think 5 full episodes before I had no more braincells and skipped thorough a bunch more and sure enough, I could finally see Wind with that voice. I think it fits him great and it honestly might be my favourite choice just because I had to watch that nightmare.
Hyrule - Justin Briner (Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia)
Ah. This one is much more pleasant. First of all, I never realised this at first but Midoriya and Hyrule are kind of similar. For one thing, they do kinda look alike. And for another they have the same "I will never give up" kinda thing going on.
Roolie is another one I knew would have a soft voice. I think Justin Briner was always down as a choice for him, except for when I briefly considered him for Four (more on that later *big sigh*). This is another anime I watched the dub for solely for this and there were a ton of lines right from the get go I could instantly imagine Roolie saying. So yeah. Aside from the tiny moment I almost assigned Justin Briner to Four, this was a pretty easy one. Midoriya has a soft voice that I could easily imagine Hyrule having. And when he got angry and his voice got harsher, I could also easily see Roolie like that too. Fun fact: there's another BNHA voice on this list... heh.
Wild - Michael Sinternklaas (Dagger from Black Butler)
AW YEAH. YOU HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH BRITISH BOI.
Ahem. Anyway. Yes Wild is British. Everyone rejoice. I was unsure of how people would react to this but I think this is the only voice on the list everyone agreed on. Which I'm happy about.
As I mentioned, I considered the English voice of Tanjiro (Zach Aguilar) for Wild. There were issues with this; mainly that it was too soft, too young, and made him sound too similar to Sky. Now here's the thing. I WANTED to give Wild a English accent. I am almost certain he would have one, like most people. However the only anime I could think of with decent English accents was Black Butler (and yes I know his final voice is from it, bear with me) and there was a problem with that. Most of the voices from Black Butler are ridiculously posh. Now you may be thinking "But Kai, Zelda has a posh English accent" and to that I would say "Ah yes but she's a princess and Wild is not". And now you might be thinking "But Kai, he's a knight an probably spent a lot of time in a place with posh English accents". To which I would say "But he wasn't always". Two words. Hateno Village.
Let me explain.
I feel like a lot of people hear the words 'English accent' and immediately think of an accent like Zelda's (and no, I am not saying everyone does and I'm also not implying that there aren't people out there who aren't British and know that there are multiple accents). Anyway, English accents are different depending on the place. And, since one can assume Wild is from Hateno Village, I would imagine their accent is different to that of those born in Castle Town. So that's why I was reluctant to give Wild a voice from Black Butler. Because all the voices that weren't insanely fancy were either far too old or did not have the right vibe.
Then one day, taking a break from this, I was watching season 3 of Black Butler (one of the only anime I watch dubbed) and I heard two voices that I suddenly thought, hang on just a second. One of those was the voice of Ronald Knox, who's a grim reaper. And the other, of course, was Dagger. I was leaning towards Dagger and what sold me was one scene in particular, which I chose as the final voice clip for Wild (you cannot tell me that is not exactly something he would say). And that was it. But Wild's was easily one of the most frustrating (not the most *glares at Four again*).
Time - David Matranga (The Father from Wolf Children)
Another tough one and also one I heavily considered for Twilight (for obvious reasons). Time's was kind of tricky because I knew I wanted it to be deep but there's such of variety of deep voices. At one point I even considered dumping the deep voice idea because it was so hard. It was a this time I thought of the voice of space cowboy extraordinaire, Spike Spiegel. But my brain said "hell no". There were other voices I considered for him, loads of which I cannot find the notes for and another one which will likely appear in part two as another character (no spoilers), but when I was picking a voice for Twi, some of the lines the father said just kept ringing big old Time vibes with me. So in the end, I decided to for it. Like I said, I imagine time with a deep voice and while to father's might be a bit more... gravelly (?) than I imagined, I think it fits him pretty well. It's serious and mature but still a certain kindness I'd imagine Time's voice to have.
Warriors - Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach)
Don't lie. You knew Johnny Yong Bosch was gonna be on here and not just because I put his name (albeit spelled incorrectly) in the thumbnail. When I started making this, I knew I wanted to fit JYB into it. In my mind, LU would be an amazing anime and almost all amazing anime have Johnny Yong Bosch in it.
Now, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out whether he would be better for Wars or Twi. At one point I was convinced he would be best for Twi and that's when I briefly thought about Vic Mignoga for Warriors (his voice for Tamaki Suoh from Ouran High School Host Club. Don't tell me Tamaki and Wars aren't at least a tiny bit similar). But I could bear to part with Vic for Legend so I decided heck it, Johnny is Warriors and I'll find someone else for Twi later. As for the voice in particular, the two voices I considered for Twi definitely did not fit Wars. And then I remembered Bleach and immediately I thought "Yep. That's the one". I imagine Warriors having an authoritative voice, not too deep and very... uh... I don't know the right word. Clean sounding? Anyway, Ichigo just seemed to fit nicely and thus it was so.
Four - Micah Solusod (Yukine from Noragamai)
Ugh. UGH. Okay. This is my least favourite. Four was, excuse my French, A FUCKING NIGHTMARES. There was not ONE SINGLE VOICE that seemed to work for him at all. I watched a bit of the Noragmai dub because I was thinking about Yato's voice for someone (I can't remember who. It might have been Wild) and I heard Yukine's and decided to put it into reserve. As in, my last resort. And I had to use it. Oh my god Four. I love you but your voice is literally a nightmare. Is it high? Is it low? Is it young sounding? Surprisingly grown up sounding? I DON'T FREAKING KNOW.
I mentioned earlier that I considered Justin Briner for him. I was thinking about his voice for Luck from Black Clover, which may have honestly worked a bit better, but I was pretty attached to Justin as Roolie by this point. So I had to whip out Micah.
Let me be clear. No, I do not think this works well at all. I appreciate the people who tried to see that good in it, but I honestly just don't think it works. The only reason I went for it is because Yukine's voice switches between older sounding and younger sounding throughout the show and since I could decide what Four's would sound like I said to myself "Fine. Four can be the same", found some clips, slapped it together and never looked back.
I am still looking for another voice for Four and if I find a decent one, I will include it in part two.
And last but not least...
Twilight - Aaron Mitchell Dismuke (Tamaki Amajiki - My Hero Academia)
Told ya there was another BHNA voice.
So Twi was another tricky one. As I mentioned, I was seriously considering Johnny Yong Bosch for him. More specifically, his voices for Giyu Tomioka from Demon Slayer and Kiba from Wolf's Rain (for obvious reasons). I did almost go for Kiba but something was stopping me. I'm honestly not sure what.
So I was talking to a mate (and by that I mean I rambled. A lot) about VA's and at one point he suggested Aaron Mitchell Dismuke but not for Twilight. I can't actually remember who he suggested it for but anyway, that didn't work out. But when I was looking through his work, I saw that we played Amajiki and I was curious. I listened to him and I liked it.
Okay to be fair I wanted a country accent for Twi. Of course I did. But I could not a find a decent one. They few I found were absolutely terrible. So I gave up on that and decided that was Amajiki. And that was that.
And that concludes the Links VA headcanons! I am happy with most of them and once more these are my opinion but I would love to hear your own ideas!
As I have said many times, I am working on a part two and as a sneak peak (sort of) I'll tell you two of the characters that will be featured (excluding Four, if I find him another voice).
Dink (even though he hasn't, technically shown up yet) and Malon (which is proving to be a lot tricker than I thought). There a couple more but my lips are sealed heh.
Oh and speaking of Dink, the voice I considered for Time and then thought it would be better for someone else? Yeah that's the voice that's currently in the lead to be Dink's :)
I hope enjoyed my long winded explanations! And thank you for reading/watching!
#phew#well that was fun#legend's is my favourite I think#closely follow by wild and maybe sky or wars#and like i said im very happy with wind because *ow*#linkeduniverse#linked universe#hehe... part 2...

Hey! I have another request. My request is headcanons of Sanji, Law & Zoro with a s/o that is afraid of the wind. NOT soft breeze but if the wind is blowing hard then s/o is afraid. Even it's just normal hard breeze and not the storm level, s/o is still bit scared. s/o is not afraid of wind machines, but outside wind nature, ye know. I'm bad at explanation.š
(I know it's a weird fear. I had that fear when I when I was a kid but not anymore now I'm older.)
Hiya!š coming right up ^.^ I hope you enjoy~
This is also super random: but currently is windy month by me and literally windows rattle violently with how hard the wind is sometimes so I was feeling this request š¤£

Headcanons: Sanji, Law, Zoro - With S/O who is afraid of wind
Sanji
š½Turbulent weather has always been prevalent ever since arriving to the Grandline and even more so in the New World. Sudden storms sometimes arise and leave everyone surprised, what Sanji didnāt know however was when a certain storm arrived headed by an incredibly strong wind that made the Sunny creak and whistle with all the wind passing through was enough to leave his S/O terrified.
š½Sanji had wondered why {Name} suddenly grabbed him, paired with their very distinct and violent trembling. The very sight of them teary eyed was enough to break his heart. Sanji pulled {Name} in close trying to soothe them by tenderly stroking their head and talking to them. Trying to find the reason and cause as to what possibly left them so distressed.
š½{Name} had hesitantly explained to Sanji about their fear, half expecting him to laugh about it. Seeing how many people had done so before, unable to understand why such a thing like harsh wind could scare a person. They were met with Sanjiās sincerity and complete understanding for their fear.
š½Sanji did his utmost to offer comfort in any way he could, especially reassuring them that he is there and they would be alright. Sanji reassured them that their fear was not in any way silly and as long as it scared {Name}, he would gladly be their knight to ease it a bit.
š½Something such as wind however, was not completely unavoidable especially during the very intense bouts of storms they experienced on the open ocean. If Sanjiās immediate attention was not required he would go to check on {Name} and make sure to try stay there for them, to help ease their fear a bit. It truly did help {Name} feel a bit better knowing that Sanji was there to distract them away from the harsh wind.
š½Sanji was very attentive and extra affectionate when {Name} was in need of comfort and feeling on edge; he would opt for conversation in an attempt to draw their attention away from outside. Sometimes he would even tell the most hilarious jokes and stories which would leave {Name} dying of laughter and forgetting all about the wind. {Name} truly loved it as well when Sanji would tell them about All Blue.
Trafalgar Law
š Law is very observant with what goes on around him, he is especially observant to changes in his S/Oās behaviour. So the moment he began to notice them being almost being skittish to their surroundings. {Name} instantly clung onto Law which made him wonder if it was the impending storm that was coming and with a hard gust of wind ā it left {Name} very afraid. Law at first thought it was potentially the thunder but after what happened, he realized it was the wind.
šThough at first he was confused, he tightly grabbed {Nameās} hand and tried to lead them away to somewhere more sheltered and protected from the wind. Law tried his best to calm {Name} down who was putting on a brave face for him, and the moment Law told them they didnāt have to {Name} looked like they were about to cry. Law continued to hold {Name} until the couple could head back to the ship.
š Law didnāt want them to think about it until they were in a safe space to discuss what it was that terrified them so much. {Name} explained their fear as well as something that happened in their past that significantly contributed to that fear. Many times people have always disregarded {Nameās} fear or told them something along the lines of āJust donāt think about itā, {Name} half expected that from Lawā¦ Law however took their fear seriously, never discrediting anything that scared them.
šLaw was very doting on {Name} especially when he knew that there would be erratic weather which could potentially unsettle {Name}. Law was sometimes a bit awkward in his attempts at distracting them from what was happening outside and they truly appreciated all his efforts. {Name} especially loved it when Law would hold them and absent-mindedly play with their hair.
š Law does have an underlying worry considering that wind is not exactly something one can avoid. So he finds ways to comfort {Name} and make them feel as safe as possible. Also making sure he is nearby just to help them settle a bit. If they should be caught in the unfortunate case of being outside when something like this occurs, he will take them somewhere as covered and away from the wind as possible.
š Law is very gentle and endearing in his actions, {Name} finds Law to have a naturally calming presence paired with his actions is very soothing when theyāre afraid or anxious. He tends to hold their hands, playing with them to distract {Name} and sometimes planting soft kisses on their fingers.
Roronoa Zoro
ā{Name} was tasked with having to find Zoro who had wandered off somewhere away from the ship and being his S/O, the job almost always went to them. During the process of trying to find him, they wandered into some ruins and with a hard rush of wind that seemed to be amplified by the hollow structure left {Name} stunned and afraid. By some stroke of luck Zoro was the one that found {Name}.
āThe moment he saw {Name}, they were crying and shaking, without asking questions he instantly grabbed them and pulled them into his arms, holding them tightly. {Name} could hear his heart beat which they find calming amidst the stressful situation.
ā{Name} eventually calmed down enough to talk to Zoro about it. Explaining what had happened and why they were so afraid. They had mentioned a particular event that had happened and explained that ever since then they had been traumatised by rougher wind since it would make them remember unpleasant things.
ā Zoro may not always be the most eloquent with his words, but he speaks directly to reassure {Name} and comfort them from the situation. He takes it with complete seriousness and is very conscious of it to try prevent situations like that from occurring once again.
ā However, being on an open ocean that is known for random and treacherous weather ā Zoro full well expects there to be time where it is not preventable. He tries to find things that calm {Name} and even has discussed with the rest of the crew that during storms {Name} goes into the cabin and doesnāt stay on deck.
āOne of the most effective things is Zoro holds them tightly. Feeling Zoro hold them so tightly adds a sense of security in {Name} and he does encourage them to try and sleep, since that way he can stay with them and they sleep through it to prevent the scared feeling. There was a situation where it just got too much for {Name} to handle and Zoro had placed his hands firmly over their ears to block out any sounds, reassuring them with a gentle smile and a kiss.
