- the FANART the FANFICTION the CORE of this community being WHOLESOME and INTUITIVE

random head canon I just came up with: tucker complaining about the meta suit being tight in the crotch is supposed to be a dick joke, but I think it's way funnier if it's supposed to be tight because that's how armor works: if its too loose you risk being injured because of things being knocked around when impacts are made, lessening the effects of the armor absorbing and distributing the force, so you don't want a bad fit. tucker wouldn't know that though because he's been wearing flowers armor, which was custom fit for flowers, and when they got new armor in s6, they used the measurements of the old armor, so tucker's been wearing improperly fit armor the entire series—which is a level of stupidity only the reds and blues could accomplish.

concept, cause the dynamics at play would be super interesting:

when Tuk and Neytiri are sucked into the hold of the Seadragon, what if Spider, unwilling to watch another one of this baby siblings, nor his siblings mother (despite everything cause he's a good kid), die without doing anything, jumps in after them?

they're now stuck in a flooding ship, spider knows his way around to a decent extent, they're all tired, they're all scared, they're all hurting. they have to depend on each other for survival.

Neytiri has to not only trust Spider, but has to follow his lead, has to trust him to guide her around a demon ship, has to untrust not only her own life, but the life of her youngest child to this boy.

Maybe they're separated, they have to find one another (my personal favorite scenario is that Tuk and Spider are together and he has to try and find her/guide Neytiri to him)

Spider taking Neytiri and Tuk's arms so they aren't separated by stray currents and raging waters (a parallel to "Sully's stick together"). Spider talking them through the breath holds he learned as a kid in case his mask malfunctioned before bringing them through the depths of the submerged ship (parallel to Jake and Lo'ak)

anyway. I just can't stop thinking about it. think about it.

Neytiri is faced with the fact that Spider jumped in after her and Tuk. he came for them, he put himself in danger to save them, to save her daughter. even after what she did to him. even after she held a knife to him, after she cut him, after she intended to kill him even after Kiri was released. he still jumped to her aid, even if he could have stayed with Kiri above deck where he was safe, he could have just aided Tuk and left her behind, but he didn't.

and there's so many ways to play with it and the aftermath. like.

Spider dragging both Tuk and Neytiri up the surface, trying his best to keep the trio afloat (namely Neytiri who was much less adjusted to the water and is exhausted by the night they've had) as they hope and pray to be reunited with the rest of their family.

maybe the stress gets to them and Spider just starts apologizing. I should have fought them harder. I shouldn't have let Lo'ak and Neteyam try and leave with me, I would have been fine. I should have seen it coming, should have taken it myself. it should have been me. my baby brother shouldn't be dead.

maybe he becomes partly delirious as he too gives into exhaustion, the big brother in him being the only part of him left coherent, so he takes Tuk close, whispering prrnen tsmuke [baby sister] over and over into her braids, assuring himself that she's safe and unharmed. he keeps praying to the Great Mother for his siblings to return to him unharmed. maybe he keeps asking where they are, if they're safe as his awareness fades and his memory weakens. all of his siblings. asking if Neteyam is ok, only to remember he's gone the second the words leave his tongue.

Jake and Lo'ak finding them when they come up with Payakan, both worse for wear, exhausted, clinging to one another, the only thing keeping their heads above water being spiders life vest, Tuk cradled between them. what a sight.

Neytiri watching as Spider looks over each of his siblings, taking them close, holding onto them as if they will be ripped away from him. the realization that he would die before he let that happen again hitting her like a ton of bricks the second she sees the look in his eyes.

a peace being made between the two in the wake of this event. spider silently claiming the role of big brother (he always was, but he had to pretend he wasn't. with Neteyam gone, he can't pretend he's not anymore), Neytiri silently agreeing.

some marvel casts gathered to honor feige in his hollywood walk of fame ceremony this week. something i found interesting is that most of the actors lined up here are integral parts of the MCU's future and present phases. everyone except chris evans, who's character has been out of the picture since endgame 5 years ago...

could this be a glimmer of hope for captain america (or other OG 6 members) making an appearance in secret wars??

as someone who's only moderately interested in joss, I went through his whole ridiculously long follow list on insta (more that 1250 accounts in total, that shit's crazy) as soon as these statements dropped and I can only say that what I saw isn't even remotely bad as people made it out to be. his problematic follows were less that 1% of the whole thing and the total list included liberals too, not only politicians but comedians that dunk on trump and maga and what not. the list looked like a bot randomly followed a little bit of everything from everywhere. I personally think it's a reach equalizing him with foei and others that actually shared their bigoted views or did something shtty, and I'm willing to give him a benefit of doubt because other than this he seems to be a solid person. a friend linked me some videos and interviews and he highkey sounded more mature and empathetic than most bl actors, just saying. dgmw, he deserves criticism for this but I'm willing to give him some grace too

so as I mentioned I have been a huge joss stan since 2019 so trust me, I AM giving him the benefit of the doubt. in fact I have been doing so since I saw with my own eyes that he followed andrew tate 2-3 years ago, and was willing the make excuses for him that maybe he followed him way prior to tate's turn into the manosphere from his days as a boxer. I was willing to cut him some slack bc I, too, believe joss to be mature & level-headed from his interviews, etc. however, I'll reiterate the same point I answered here to someone defending joss, which is that he NEEDS to address this. everyone at the moment is doubting his intentions bc of his lack of answers & clarity, despite the fact that there's no way he doesn't know people are aware of his following list. I'm not someone who thinks celebrities owe their fans anything, but in this case, by staying silent instead of either dispelling or confirming this issue, joss is creating problems for his own career & his fans. his fans (who are again 99% minorities like women, lgbtq+ & poc) are now feeling like they supported a guy that is actively against their rights & hates them. from that, joss is facing bad press & fan loss which is a problem for his career. frankly his lack of addressing it, as simple as saying "no I don't support trump & others" does make him look more guilty. once again, I've been a fucking fan of this dude for more than half a decade, trust me when I say that I'd take what explanation he'd give us sincerely. but there's no explanation yet, which only allows this problem to grow bigger & make us fans more conflicted.

rant about shipping asexuals

I can't with the discussion around shipping asexual characters anymore. You know what? As an asexual (or someone on the spectrum, haven't figured that part out yet) I give you permission to draw/write/create all shipping things you want to. Next time someone tells you "you can't do that, it's disrespectful to the asexuals" tell them lu-lus-duckies is ace and gave me permission to draw all the asexuals as sexy people doing hot gay sex.

Actually, tell them lu-lus-duckies told me to make this art, because I want you to. As an asexual who's not repulsed by sexual topics, give me all of your art! I want to scroll through my feed everyday and find the most beautiful, jaw-dropping, toe-curling pieces of art you can make.

I honestly don't see a problem as long as in canon, they remain asexual and don't go the whole "they found the right person" route because fan content will always be fan content and that shouldn't discourage people from making art. I love art. I love every kind of art. You don't even want to see my rule34 folder, the shit I have on there would make the kinkiest of you do a double take.

It's honestly more annoying seeing mischaracterization of asexuals than the actual shipping. My man alastor wouldn't be all head over heels, he'd be an ass, enemies to enemies with benifits, a "I'm going to be in a relationship with you because it benifits me and maybe you too".

Just please be mindful to who you send those to. I am perfectly fine with all of this, but someone might not be. As long as you aren't actively sending them things they are uncomfortable with, there is no problem. If your art that ships asexual characters shows up on their feed that's not your fault. The people who find that disturbing or uncomfortable can easily ignore/block that content and that'll be the best solution for everyone. Sure it's not perfect, but forcing people to stop making something they're passionate about isn't something I'd like to see at all.

I respect other aces wishes to not see aces depicted in ship art and i also expect that other asexuals respect my wish to want as much fan content of this asexual character, including ship art, as possible. At the end of the day, it won't happen in canon and people just like seeing their favourite ace character interract with another, so they make their own shit and that's badass.

And of course, it's all okay as long as it's fictional. Please don't go around telling ace people in real life they should go have sex with someone because they'd be cute together or something stupid like that.

Edit: this goes for the aromantic bit too. (I'm also definitely demiromantic, that I've figured out. so I'm not sure how much I have a say in this considering i do feel some form of romantic attraction, but i think the same can be said with aromantics.)
