A fan on TikTok talks about seeing Lando dj at @yndjs set two weeks ago in Monaco 👀

“My friends and I had no idea he had been there the whole time even before [he came out] but some people said they saw him. He started to dj about an hour into the set and yn was on the other side hyping up the crowd and dancing! Lando only dj-ed about 30 minutes but he did stay in booth area the whole night. To me it seemed like already knew each other because they were very chatty and greeted each other with a hug.”

Apparently Lando and Yn know each other better than most fans originally thought 🫢

Obsession's Grip (Zosan X Reader) P1

Plot: After saving some of the straw hat crew from a prison, the crew help takes a young man away so he can have a fresh start in life. He's shy but seems to grow attached to Reader in an unhealthy way.

Warning: Snakes, Bad language, Violence and Making out.

Reader is Female (Sorry), Zoro X Sanji X Reader, Poly relationship, established relationship. Reader has the ability to control the snake tattoos on her arms that come alive when she commands, they can change size and are connected to her emotions.

P2 - P3 - P4 - P5 - P6 - P7 - P8 - P9 - P10 - P11 - P12 - P13 - P14

You couldn't blame your three crew mates for getting caught by marines, it was a stupid plan to begin with and your surprised only Nami, Usopp and Brook got captured, the only thing your hating at the moment is the prison your currently in. A place designed to disorientate prisoners if they escape, it's a maze of cells, random rooms and dead ends but thanks to the help of your snake's sense you managed to navigate the halls to find your crew mates. Your snake slithers in front of you using its tongue to smell out for Nami's perfume as you run behind it taking on anyone who gets in its way so your snake can focus, kicking the legs out from under a marine you kick him into another sending the two tumbling into a cell which you quickly lock with the keys they dropped. A yell of fear calls out from down the hall getting you to run towards it, you may have lost sight of your snake but you can feel where it is so found it easy to run down the halls until the large snake is in sight. Its tongue flicks in and out of its mouth while glaring into a cell, a small low hiss coming from its closed mouth letting you know it not happy "Calm down will you" Nami's voice yells out as you walk towards the cell soon seeing your three crew mates tied up and a young man in a janitors uniform trying to unlock Brooks sea prism cuffs with a key "I-i'ts huge" The young man panics his eyes fixed on your snake while his hands fiddle with Brooks cuffs trying to get the key in while his hands shake. Patting your snake it clams down at your presence as you walk into the cell earning happy cheers from Nami and Usopp "Sorry it took so long" You smile bending down to pick up the key's on the cold stone floor before unlocking the cuff on your two friends.

The young man looks you over before looking back at your snake still fearful even though its no longer looking at him instead its now looking down the hallway for any trouble while smelling the air. Once you've uncuffed Nami and Usopp spring up giving you a tight hug which you happily return "We're so happy you came" The two cry into your shoulders making you sigh while rubbing their backs, still seeing the young man struggling to get the cuffs off due to his shaking hands you know you have to calm him down. "Don't worry, it won't hurt you" You calmly state making the young man jump a little at your words before giving you a nod starting to calm down. Unlocking the cuffs and letting them drop to the floor, Brook takes in a big breath before sitting straight up causing the young man to jump in shock "I'm alive... well half alive, yooohooo" he calls out making you giggle a little while helping your friends up "Thanks for the help" Usopp smiles patting the young man on the back who shots up to his feet "I-its no problem, I-i'm glad i could help" The young man gulps before looking at you again, your snake pokes its head through the cell door to nudge your back wanting to get moving "Right, we should get going" You agree with your snake pushing its head out of the cell as you walk out into the hallway, your three crew mates follow but Nami looks back at the young man who's fidgeting with his hands. "Well come on, we made a deal, you get the key's, and we take you away from here" the navigator sighs annoyed at the young man but you place a hand on her shoulder while pointing to your snake "Hop on and I'll sort this out" The navigator nods at you heading over to your snake to sit on its back while Brook and Usopp sit on its large head.

Stepping into the cell you can now get a better look at the young man, he's timid to say the least and can hardly meet your eye, he's beyond skinny and his skin is pale indicating he hasn't been eating right and probably doesn't see the sun all that often. His hair is greasy and pulled into a large bun that looks very tatty showing he doesn't take care of himself or that he can't, It breaks your heart a little since he looks more like a prisoner than a janitor. You know if Zoro was here he would tell you to just leave him but you feel sorry for him, and he did make a deal with Nami so you at least have to try. "Thank you for your help in saving my friend's, i know my snake is scary but it won't hurt you" You smile hoping to get the young man to calm down a bit, but he still doesn't meet your eye "I'm Y/n, what's your name?" You ask as the young man slowly starts to relax around you "I'm... Percy" He finally replies's starting to look you over, giving him a kind smile you hold out your hand for him to take "It's nice to meet you Percy, now come on, let get you out of here. Our Cook's the best in the world, he'll happily make you what ever you want to eat once we get out of here" He hesitates for a moment before slowly reaching out and taking your hand, walking him out of the cell you help him onto your snakes back before sitting behind him since you didn't want him to fall off in his weak state. Patting your snake it nods before slithering off through the halls, the walls and cells go past in a blur due to how fast it's going and despite the sharp turns the ride is smooth.

It isn't long until you see the sun light shining through the large metal gates that Zoro cut open long ago, the sound of fighting outside becomes louder and louder until your right on top of the fight "Hay Guys" Brook and Usopp yell from your snakes head while waving their hands to get the crew's attention, Luffy punches a marine into the water before turning to the giant snake heading their way "Their here" The captain yells getting the rest of the crew's attention while waving back to his friends with a laugh. Franky is quick to rush back to the sunny to start steering the ship and get their escape ready while Luffy, Robin, Chopper, Zoro and Sanji take on the last of the marines. "Keep heading to the ship" You call out to your snake not wanting it to stop and say hi, it nods slithering past the crew as they kick, slice, punch and slap the marines aside making an easy path for your Snake to slither though. Once on the ship your snake lets everyone off while looking out to sea, a marine ship is heading your way so it lets out a loud hiss giving the crew a warning. Nami's quickly run up to the wheel taking over from Franky before giving orders "Brook, Y/n protect the ship, Franky fire back at the marine ship, Usopp help the other get on board" She yells out steering the ship starting to turn it away from the prison's port, nodding to you snake it nods back blocking two cannon balls with its body and head managing to knock them into the water while Brook slices another two in half. Seeing Percy standing on the deck you quickly push him down to the floor not meaning to be rough but you know he'll get hurt just standing there like that "Stay down, i don't want you to get hurt" You state calmly before standing back up and looking around the deck.

The others aren't back yet making you worry but you soon find the reason why, Usopp is still kissing the grass on the Sunny's deck happy to be back "Usopp, stop kissing the ship" You yell at the long nosed man picking him up by the back of his shirt and pulling him over to the side of the ship, confused at first the sniper doesn't understand what you want until he see's the situation ahead of him. The crew still on solid ground are fighting a new wave of marines who have made it out of the prison making it hard from them to get back without someone getting hurt. "R-right, leave it to me" Letting the sniper go you turn to your snake soon hearing a loud bang, The sunny fires back at the marine ship managing to break its mast slowing its speed but with its cannons still intact Brook, you and your snake are struggling to stop the constant cannon fire from damaging the ship. You coat your hands and arms in Armament Haki hitting cannon balls that fly your way as Usopp fires his green star aiming it at a small gap between the crew fighting and the marines on land, large carnivorous plants break out of the concrete grabbing onto the marines with their vines and mouths. "Franky hurry up and take that ship out, You guys get on board now" Nami yells out since the ship is now in the correct passion to get out of the situation, with one last cannon fire from the Sunny the marine ship breaks in two, unfortunately before it starts to sink the ship fires everything they have to stop the Sunny. Several cannon balls fly at the ship two being cut down by Brook, while two others hit your snake as it tries to protect the ship from damage, unfortunately one got past the two heading right for Percy.

Running quickly you tackle the young man out-of-the-way leaving the cannon ball to hit the stairs, rolling on the floor you soon come to a stop as the others finally make it onto the Sunny, Nami yells out a quick warning before pressing the butter for a coup de burst. Everyone hangs on tight to something as the Sunny launches into the air getting further and further away from the prison, grabbing onto the mast bench you hold onto Percy who's laying under you, the young man wraps his arms around you trying to hold on until the ship finally crashes back into the water. Sighing in relief you lift yourself off the young man who watches your very move with wide eyes, standing you push some hair out of your face before holding out your hand to him "You ok?" You ask giving him a concerned look but that soon turns into shock as he shoots up to sit on his knees and hug your waist burring his face into your stomach "Thank you, thank you so much" Percy cry's into your stomach, before you can comfort him angry storming footsteps get your attention "Bastard, get off her" Sanji yells his eyes burning into the young man who's holding you while raising his leg "No, no, it's ok" You hold your hands out managing to stop Sanji from kicking Percy across the ship, the cook looks at you in confusion as the others walk over to see what the fuss is about "Urm? New friend Y/n?" Luffy asks searching his head but you sigh and try to pull the young man off you, despite how weak he looks Percy has quite the grip and hardly budges as you try to unlock his hands that are wrapped tightly around you "N-No not quite... please let go, your safe now" You laugh nervously while looking down at Percy who's refusing to budge "Oi, the lady said get off, now" Sanji growls slamming his foot onto the ground right next to the young man while grabbing the back of his shirt as a warning.

The sound of thin metal dragging along the floor get you to look over seeing Usopptrying to stop a very angry Zoro from walking over "he helped us out, he got us the keys to our cell and out cuffs, we said we'd take him with us... he's just scared there no need to kill him" Usopp tries to explain while slightly panicking placing his hands on the swordsman's chest but the sniper just slides backwards as Zoro continues to walk over his sword scraping along the floor next to him. Hearing all the ruckus Percy looks up from your stomach his eyes meeting yours before he turns to look at the blonde man growling behind him still gripping his shirt and then over to the pissed off swordsman, the young man's eyes widen at the murderous look in the green haired mans's eyes. "He's a marine... Let go, or I'll cut your arms off" The swordsman growls stopping in front of you and Percy while shoving Usopp side and pointing the tip of his sword in the young man's face. Percy gulps and finally lets you go letting you step back and away from him "Are you ok my love? Did he hurt you?" The cook asks running over to you and cupping your face in his hands starting to look you over for any cuts or bruises but you take his hands and shake your head "No, i'm fine. He's just scared" You try to explain while pulling his hands off your face. Luffy walks right up the Percy and looks him over with a hum before smiling "Thanks for helping my friends, I'm Monkey D Luffy" The captain holds out his hand for the young man to shake.

Still in shock Percy keeps his wide eyes on Zoro but takes Luffy's hand to shake it "I-I'm Percy" Sanji glares not liking the man being on the ship while wrapping his arms around you waist, but he can't go against the captain who seems to like the young man "Are you sure your ok my love?" The cook asks pulling you into his chest, wrapping your arms around his neck you place a light kiss in his lips "I'm fine really" you reassure hoping to ease his worries, it was quite uncomfortable having the young man cling onto you like that but then again you did save his life, and he's away from that prison, he's just grateful. "He's not a marine, please put it away" Usopp sighs while rubbing his head finally managing to get a word in after Luffy has finished talking Percy's ear off but the swordsman doesn't budge "Then what is he then?" Chopper asks as he tries to hide behind Robin's leg who laughs at him since he's doing it backwards "He's a deserter" Nami calls out coming down the stairs and over to the group hoping to explain and calm everyone down "Listen we'll explain all this later, for now we need to fix the ship and i need a drink" The navigator sighs while rubbing her head, Luffy jumps up with a big smile while taking Percy's arm dragging him up with the captain "Sanji, can you cook up something, mainly meat" The captain laughs while dragging the young man to the kitchen some of the other starting to follow in agreement. Sanji sigh and places a kiss on your lips before reluctantly letting you go, Zoro groans putting his sword away and making his way over to the two of you "I don't like this" He states only for a hand to be placed on his shoulder "You'll understand later... I'll give you five minutes Sanji" Nami smiles with a wink walking past the three of you and to the kitchen.

Sanji gives her a big smile while swaying a little hearts appearing in his eyes, happy that he didn't have to rush away from you "Thank you, Nami-Swan" Sanji happily calls out after her watching the navigator walk into the kitchen and close the door. Zoro takes a step closer wrapping an arm around your waist, his eye looking you over as you run your hand up his chest and to his cheek, leaning in you place a soft kiss on his lips which he quickly deepens by shoving his tongue into your mouth. The slight giggle you let out gets Sanji's attention, turning the cook smile at the two of you while stepping closer wrapping his arms around the two of you and placing a kiss on your neck and then one on Zoro's. Pulling away you smile up at the swordsman "Must have been one hell of a fight" You tease while biting your lip making him groan and tilt his head from side to side "Its was ok" he states earning a laugh off Sanji who shakes his head and leans up to place a kiss on the swordsman's cheek "Please, you were having so much out there" The cook comments, Zoro smirks while crashing his lips onto the blondes, the two hum in unison as the swordsman shoves his tongue into Sanji's already slightly open mouth, their kiss goes on for a while and its then you notice your Snake hovering over Franky. The Cyborg sighs looking over the smashed up stairs while patting your snakes head who had lowered it as an apology "Hay you did a good job protecting the ship pal, don't put yourself down" The cyborg give your snake a big smile before starting to work. "Baby, your not paying attention" Zoro nips at your neck making you jump slightly at his sudden action.

Sanji rubs your side with a small laugh pulling you in closer, so he can lightly place his lips on yours, "Sorry" You mumble against his lips before lightly biting his lower lip, the cooks smile gets even bigger while opening his mouth for you, letting your tongue in it moves around with his. A light hum leaves your lips feeling content in this moment but soon you have to pull away from the kiss panting for air, your snake lets out a hiss behind you patiently waiting until you were done before nudging your arm wanting to go back. Turning you hold your arms out letting your Snake pressing its head into your chest as you rub the sides of its face "You did such a good job" You praise lifting its head up so you can kiss its snout, the swordsman smirks while rubbing his hand over some slightly damaged scales on your snakes neck "You really took a hit there bud but its nothing you can't handle, right?" Zoro asks earning a nod and a proud hiss, your snakes can heal very quickly so it'll most likely take a day for it to fully heal. Your snake nudging your arm again asking to go back so you pat its head while nodding your head giving it permission to go back, the large snake shrinking as it wraps around your arm starting to turn back into a normal looking tattoo. "Come on love, lets get you some tea" Sanji smiles placing a kiss on your temple while taking your hand starting to lead you over to the stairs, the swordsman kisses the side of your head and places his arm around your waist following close "I need Sake" Zoro mumbles making Sanji sigh and shake his head "One cup, we need you sober in case the new guy causes a problem" Despite the long annoyed groan the swordsman lets out he didn't argue back, he knows for once the cook is right, but he won't admit it.

The sun shone brightly over the sparkling waves, casting a golden glow on the sandy shores of the island. The Straw Hat Pirates had anchored their ship nearby and were eagerly preparing for a day of fun and relaxation at the beach. Excitement buzzed in the air as they set up umbrellas, spread out towels, and unpacked their picnic baskets.

Luffy, as usual, was the most enthusiastic, racing towards the water with a delighted shout. "Beach day, beach day! Come on, everyone!"

Nami rolled her eyes but smiled, watching him with fondness. "Luffy, slow down! You're going to wear yourself out before the day even starts."

“Like that’s even possible,” Zoro muttered, already dozing under an umbrella, one eye half-open as he kept an eye on his surroundings. A half-drunk sake bottle was at his feet as Brook was trying to apply sunscreen to avoid cooking his bones.

Franky, Usopp, and Chopper were busy building an elaborate sandcastle, while Jinbe and Sanji were setting up a grill for a seaside barbecue. Robin sat nearby, reading a book with a serene smile on her face, and Nami joined her for some relaxation.

Among the crew was [Name], the newest addition to the Straw Hat crew. You had met Luffy when you saved him from drowning, and he insisted you come along on the adventure. You didn’t know where you came from, but you were something of a fishwoman or mermaid, equipped with a unique blend of human and fish traits. You had shimmering scales along your arms and legs, and your hair had a subtle, iridescent sheen that caught the sunlight beautifully.

You were used to life underwater and always felt at home by the water, and today was no different. You were gathering seashells just under the shore with Ace walking beside you when Luffy bounded up, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Hey, [Name], did you know my brother likes you?" Luffy said with a wide grin.

[Name] felt her cheeks warm at the mention of Sabo. You had always admired the Revolutionary and his kind heart. "Really? Are you sure, Luffy?"

Luffy nodded vigorously. "Yep! Nami, didn't I tell you Sabo likes [Name]?"

Nami, who was lounging under an umbrella with a cool drink in hand, nodded with a knowing smile. "You did, Luffy. But you should let them figure it out on their own."

Before [Name] could respond, a familiar voice called out from the edge of the beach.

"Luffy! [Name]! Over here!"

Sabo was waving from a small pier a short distance away. He looked every bit the dashing hero with his blond hair tousled by the sea breeze and his trademark pipe slung casually over his shoulder. He was wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt adorned with red flowers, all the buttons open, revealing his toned chest and abs. The sight made [Name]'s heart flutter. Luffy nudged [Name] forward.

"Go on! Go fishing with him!"

With a nervous yet excited smile, [Name] made her way to the pier. Sabo helped her to the edge, his touch sending a pleasant tingle through her. "I'm glad you came," he said, his voice warm. "I thought we could catch some fish for the barbecue."

"Sounds like a plan," [Name] replied, feeling her nerves settle. "It's been a while since I've gone fishing."

As they set up shop, the rest of the crew continued their antics on the beach. Usopp and Chopper were now engaged in a heated crab race, with Chopper cheering on his tiny racer. Zoro had fallen asleep and was snoring loudly, much to Nami's amusement. Ace and Luffy were now engaged in a serious wrestling match with Sanji yelling for them to watch out for the grill.

"Careful, Sanji, or you'll get a sunburn," Nami teased.

Back on the pier, [Name] and Sabo cast their lines and settled into a comfortable silence. The sun's warm rays and the sound of the waves created a peaceful atmosphere. [Name] couldn't help but steal glances at Sabo, admiring his calm demeanor and handsome features. His shirt flapped open in the breeze, giving glimpses of his muscled chest and making her heart skip a beat.

'I can't believe I'm here with Sabo. He's always been so kind and brave. And that shirt... why did he have to wear it like that? How am I supposed to focus on fishing when he looks like that?'

[Name] bit her lip, trying to keep her mind from wandering too far. 'Get it together, [Name]. You're here to fish, not to ogle Sabo.'

"You know," Sabo began, breaking the silence, "Luffy's always talking about his adventures with you guys. He really loves his crew."

"We love him too," [Name] replied, smiling. "He's more than just our captain; he's our family."

Sabo nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same with me and the Revolutionaries. We fight for a cause, but it's the bonds we share that keep us going."

[Name] looked at Sabo, feeling a connection forming between them. "It must be hard, though, being away from family for so long."

"It is," Sabo admitted. "But knowing that Luffy is out here, living his dream, makes it easier. And meeting people like you, who care about him so much... it means a lot."

[Name] blushed, looking down at her fishing line. "I care about him a lot. And... I've always admired you, Sabo. The way you fight for what's right, it's inspiring."

Sabo's eyes softened as he looked at her. "Thank you, [Name]. That means a lot coming from you. I've heard so many good things about you from Luffy and the crew. I can see why they speak so highly of you."

Before [Name] could respond, there was a sharp tug on her line. "I think I've got something!" she exclaimed, pulling with all her might. Sabo leaned over to help, but in the excitement, he lost his balance and tumbled overboard with a splash.

"Sabo!" [Name] cried, leaning over the side of the pier.

Luffy, always alert to his brother's safety, saw what happened and immediately ran onto the pier before he dove into the water. "Hang on, Sabo!"

“LUFFY, YOU CAN’T SWIM!” Next thing you knew, Ace had run past you to jump in after his little brothers.

This, of course, prompted Zoro to wake up and, without a second thought, leap into the water as well. "Luffy, you idiot! Wait!"

Chopper and Usopp, seeing the commotion, rushed to the water's edge, trying to grab hold of Luffy and Zoro. Jinbe and Nami, meanwhile, started shouting at the chaos unfolding before them. Franky caught a wild elbow to the face and accidentally brought Usopp down with him. You held onto Chopper before he could jump in and get squished in all the chaos.

"Stop it, all of you!" Nami yelled, waving her arms. "You're going to drown each other!"

"Calm down, everyone!" Jinbe boomed, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice. Brook was now chuckling, “I would lend you a hand but—”

“They’d knock your old bag of bones out.”

“Please, [Name], these jokes are all I have left!”

Robin, watching the scene with a chuckle, used her powers to create a giant hand that tossed inflatable lifeboats towards the struggling pirates. "Here, catch!" Handing off Chopper to Robin, you jumped in to make sure no one drowned in the three feet of water below.

You tossed Luffy and Ace into the same floaty while Franky helped pull them to shore, and Usopp managed to get Zoro to the beach before Moss-head caused you all to spend five years searching for his directionally challenged ass.

You quickly swam over to Sabo, your sea creature agility allowing you to reach him in no time. You helped him into the inflatable boat, securing him safely. "Are you okay?" you asked, concern evident in your eyes.

Sabo coughed but smiled gratefully.

"Thanks to you, [Name]."

Using your powerful fins, you zipped around the boat, creating a fun and exhilarating ride for Sabo. The two of you laughed, the earlier mishap forgotten as you enjoyed the thrill of the water.

Back on the beach, the rest of the crew managed to untangle themselves and climb back to shore, dripping wet and laughing. Jinbe and Nami were still scolding them, but there was a note of fondness in their voices.

"You all are impossible," Nami sighed, shaking her head with a smile. "Honestly, it's like looking after a bunch of kids."

"We're sorry."

As the sun began to set, the Straw Hat Pirates gathered around the grill, enjoying the fresh fish that you and Sabo had caught. You offered a seashell to Sanji in thanks, and he promised to cherish it forever. The air was filled with laughter and the smell of delicious food.

Taking your plate, you sat next to Sabo, your shoulders touching. You felt a warmth in your heart that had nothing to do with the sun. Today had been perfect, chaos and all.

'Why does my heart feel like it's going to burst every time he smiles at me?' [Name] thought, sneaking another glance at Sabo.

'I’ve admired her for so long, and now here we are, sharing smoked salmon with ramen.'

'He’s so close, and I can feel the warmth from his skin. '

'I wish this day would never end.'

"Thank you for today," Sabo said softly, his eyes meeting yours. "I had a great time."

"Me too," you replied, your smile bright. "Maybe we can do it again sometime?"

Sabo's grin widened. "I'd like that very much."

'Her eyes are so kind. I can't believe she actually wants to spend more time with me. Maybe... maybe she does like me. Could Luffy have been right?'

“Why don’t you dorks just shut up and kiss already?”

“SHUT UP, ACE!” you and Sabo shouted in unison, both of you blushing furiously.

Sabo chuckled, the sound sending a pleasant shiver down your spine. "Ignore him," he said, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. "Let's just enjoy the evening."

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, you and Sabo sat together, surrounded by your friends and the soothing sounds of the ocean. Your heart felt full, and you knew that this day would be one you'd cherish forever.

─ Summary: you find yourself in a totally different world and trying to adjust

Part two / Part three (Kid Pirates)

─ Then, you were comfortably asleep in your bed, completely passed out from studying so much for the exam you had tomorrow, however, surprise! out of nowhere you were on a boat with a rubber guy, a thief, a guy with moss on his head, a lovesick cook, a reindeer, an archaeologist, a liar, a cyborg and a living skeleton.

─ Screams and screams, confused on your part, scared on the part of Nami, Chopper, Ussop and Luffy… he just joined in the screams because they were all screaming and he wanted to too.

─ It took you a good week to assimilate that you weren't in your world, but you got over it thinking about the end of exams, the stress and the panic of losing your scholarship, you were literally like "I'd rather be a pirate than do my homework on integrals and derivatives."

─ Although it was hard to get used to all that stuff about pirates, marines… there was a lot of history behind it that you didn't understand but just keep going, you've still been lucky to have the best team on your side.

─ Luffy would ask a lot of stupid things about your world, God bless you because the boy was completely taking patience away from you, "Yes Luffy, for the tenth time, we poop just like you, stop asking the same question."

─ Zoro stood on the sidelines, just looking at you as if you were going to stab them in the back, while you looked at him and said "sir, calm down a bit, I can barely walk without tripping over my own feet."

─ Nami would be glad to have another bath partner, the only bad thing for her is that you had no money to go into debt with, so for now you were on her good side.

─ Ussop began to be your faithful friend, like Nami and Chopper on some occasions, you added to his ranks as one more scared, although you certainly had good reasons to be more scared than them.

─ Chopper got very worried when he noticed your irregular hours of sleep, you explained to him that it was all part of your school schedule and that it would take you time to change it.

─ Just like you had shitty sleep schedules, your eating schedules went hand in hand, Sanji thought you were worse than Luffy, not because of the amount you ate, but because of the hours you ate, he always scolded you when in the middle of the night he found you in the kitchen, as if you had never been fed in your life.

─ You were closer to Robin, there was something in her that screamed 'motherhood', something that reminded you of your mother and made you see her as one, so every time she spoke to you or explained things of this world, your mind simply writhed thinking, you would end up crying later that night.

─ The one you looked at the most carefully was Franky because what the hell is going on with his hair? You spend hours looking at his hair, wondering what physical laws apply to stay like this or how much damn hairspray he spends in a day.

─ Well, your first impression with Brook was that you had taken drugs or something (same with Chopper tbh). Skeletons aren't supposed to talk in your world, but anyway, over time and after a few punches for his insinuations towards your underwear, you ended up liking his music a lot, you end up asking him to play songs from your world, trying to make them similar.

─ You were running down the street because you were going to be late for your psychology class, not paying attention to the 'cut off for construction' signs so you ended up falling down a sewer and the fall was too long, long enough to give you time to assimilate that you were no longer in your world.

─ Your theories were confirmed when you landed on top of a poor bear, but hey, at least the fall was less painful.

─ Bepo and you shared silent glances until you both spoke at the same time, "Sorry!" "Wait why are you apologizing? One second HOW CAN YOU TALK?" "I'M SORRY!" "DON'T APOLOGIZE FOR THAT!" No, you definitely have to have been high to understand the class you were going to and having a bad experience.

─ Unfortunately no, it was worse than taking drugs, you were in another world, one full of dangers and pirates, no, no, you weren't going through that, you were too tired to assimilate it.

─ The first time you see Law he almost cuts you in half if it weren't for Bepo, you already adored this bear. You had to stay inside the Polar Tang because unfortunately they were on a route in the middle of nowhere.

─ "So now there are two depressive whores in a submarine" you muttered giving the captain of the ship a last look while he left you in a room to talk to the others.

─ The good part, no boring classes, the bad part, what are you supposed to do locked up here? Law didn't trust you so most of the time you had someone on top of you watching you.

─ Your saviors were Penguin and Sachi, they had that energy of idiots who share half a neuron that made you amused, oh, you would cause Law so many headaches for doing so many nonsense with these two men. "Who the hell put bread in my food?!"

─ You didn't have anything fun to do and now… you can assemble your body like it's a puzzle for annoying the captain.

─ Ikkaku and you didn't take long to connect, being the only two women in the cold submarine, you found in her someone to turn to if the change of environment overloaded you at times, because yes, you liked to collapse thinking about your old life when you were alone.

─ Definitely the reason why Law didn't throw you in the middle of the sea or abandon you on some random island was because Ikkaku liked you and he also felt a little sorry for you, so a little more help in the Polar Tang never hurts.

─ Just when you were going over a bridge you decided to take a look, the water moved calmly many meters below you, your intrusive thoughts "jump in and finish all the shit from the studies" while your reasonable part "no, not yet you are young, this is just a small stone in your way."

─ You got rid of all thoughts but oops… someone careless who was riding a bike pushed you enough for your body to fall into the void, well, it seemed that someone had chosen for you.

─ You expected to die at least, hey, you didn't have to go through all the stress, but you definitely didn't think of ending up in another world, falling directly into a ship, strangely you didn't cause any injuries but…

─ "Who the hell are you!?" A deranged redhead grabbed you by the collar of your shirt looking at you as if he was going to bite your throat out. You were scared to death "Is this hell? I knew I shouldn't have cheated on tests."

─ Killer prevented Kid from killing you at that precise moment by indirectly calling him a demon.

─ "I'll throw you overboard you damn brat" In fact, that sounded pretty good after discovering simple things about this world and its brutalities, "bro, I'll throw myself overboard" someone had already pushed you off a bridge, you were ready to die so you didn't care much.

─ "What the hell are you two doing?" Killer just watches as you prepare to jump into the sea while his friend laughs at your stupid bravery. Yes, the blond prevented your possibly second death that day.

─ You find yourself spending more time with Killer because he seems like a mother and you miss yours, he was the most 'understanding' with your situation.

─ Kid just used you to do all the shit work that nobody wanted to do, since you were on his ship you weren't going to sit idly by. But he ended up making you overexert yourself with some things.

─ This caused Heat to see your first stress attack in this world, oh lord, he didn't know what to do when he saw you shaking and crying while pulling some of your hair strands too hard. He just gave you an awkward hug hoping you would stop crying.

─ They found out the hard way that you weren't good at dealing with situations under pressure, you stuck a fork in Wire's hand because they were pestering you at dinner with so many questions and teasing about your world.

─ Kid began to worry when he saw you trying to blow your brains out with one of his guns, at first he thought you were a stupid reckless, but the truth is that you were just a depressed student.

─ He decided that you could stay with them as long as you were not a 'nuisance', the thing is that they ended up becoming fond of you, especially Killer, now you were like his child and he was taking care of you whether you wanted it or not since you will never know when you will return to your old life.

OMG YES YES YES!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS WEFNLSNDFLKEN I LOVE THEM!!! I have SO many headcanons for these two <3

Sanji comes out to the crew not long after the time skip, but the first one to know is Robin and she's the one that encourages her to tell the others. However, Sanji is worried (and yes, I am making it Sanuso because I am just that annoying with them) because she isn't sure whether Usopp (they're dating already btw) will still love her after knowing this (not the fact that she's a girl, bc Usopp is like, extremely bi and Sanji knows this. It's more like the concept of being trans and her body and etcetc). Robin tells her about her and Franky and how she was also anxious at first (she's also transfem btw. She has wise older trans girl energy) but he loved her body just the way it is. Perfect. "SUPERRR!" in his words, of course. So Robin tells Sanji that she's sure Usopp will love her either way, but if, for any reason, he doesn't want to keep going with the relationship, that doesn't make Sanji less valuable. Just like Robin didn't need Franky to tell her she's beautiful for her to accept it.

Turns out everyone accepts her, of course, even Zoro is nice to her. Robin is next to Sanji when she tells them the truth about herself and how she'd like to be treated now. However, Sanji is looking at Usopp and Luffy the whole time. Her boyfriend and her captain. Luffy's the first one to break the silence, saying that as long as she's free and happy and still cooks for them, then it's alright!! Robin gives her a fond smile while it happens. Usopp approaches her when everybody is walking away, and without saying anything else, he just kisses her. A thing that is completely new because Usopp is mostly a man of words, but right now he just wants to kiss her, and Sanji isn't complaining. Also, if you're curious about the other straw hats' reactions (can you tell I'm super into this whole thing):

Franky: Now we have three SUPERRRR beautiful ladies on the ship!! 😎 (Or, another option: *Dramatically sobs because Sanji just told them the most heartbreaking story about her life and how she struggled to realize she was a girl*) Nami: Oh fucking finally, I thought I would have to deal with this forever. I thought you were a pervert but turns out you were just repressed as hell! Way to go, girl!!! Welcome to the club!! Zoro: She's still a pervert- Good for you, though. I'm still going to beat your ass when we fight. Not going easy just because of this, shitty cook. Brook: Oh, dear, I'm so glad there are more women here blessing us with their presence. Now, may I see your- *Nami hits him so hard his skull almost breaks in half* Chopper: Sanji!!! I'm so sorry we didn't know anything!!!! Now I feel bad for treating you like a man!!! You're not!!! You're a beautiful woman, Sanji!!! (Sanji: Chopper, I didn't even know. How the hell did you expect to realize first-) *Sobs* I- I don't know!! But I'm sure you'll be even cooler as a woman now!!!

Robin tells Franky ASAP to build a bed for Sanji in the girls' room, but she doesn't tell Sanji right away. Nami helps her move Sanji's stuff from the boys' bedroom to theirs, and they make it a bit cozier and wider for the three of them. After dinner, they show Sanji what they've done and she almost breaks down crying.

Sanji is kind of self-conscious about her body, and she actually really likes wearing her suits, so it isn't a problem. But sometimes she envies Robin and Nami's clothes and bodies, and she wants to be able to wear dresses and more fem clothes too. Robin notices without Sanji saying anything and ends up lending her discreet clothes from her wardrobe for now until they have the chance to go shopping. Nami, then, is the one to buy clothes for Sanji with her own money (as surprising as it sounds) because it's, and I quote: "A real emergency. The fact that I haven't seen you in heels yet is a crime".

She starts thinking about her hair one day when Usopp notices it's getting a lot longer, running his fingers through it. Sanji has always been used to short hair. She doesn't even mind having it like this. A lot of girls have short hair. But perhaps she can... Try. Not cutting it for a while. See where it goes. (Lil spoiler: Turns out she likes long hair because it reminds her of her mom <3 Usopp loves it because this way he can do all sorts of hairstyles with it!!!)

The first time she showers with the girls at some thermal baths they find on an island, she almost has a heart attack. Being a girl does not keep her from simping, she's just a lot more normal about it (I have the lil headcanon that Sanji's constant pervert behavior is just gender envy). But also it's the excitement and feeling of belonging!! Besides, bathing with them is sooo much calmer and nicer than with the boys.

Issues with her voice? Not to worry because Robin, being the wise older transfem she is, teaches Sanji how to feel more comfortable about it and shows her tricks to train it for her voice to sound more soothing and high.

Eventually, Robin asks Sanji if she wants to try and contact Ivankov because they could help with her body, if she wants to. Sanji isn't sure. She feels like changing it completely would be like betraying herself because she doesn't want to be ashamed of her body. She's a girl no matter what, after all. But sometimes dysphoria is just... Too much. And perhaps living with a more fem body would help her. Robin tells her to take her time to think about it, and that no matter what she chooses she'll still be beautiful and a wonderful young woman!!

Silly lil thing but I think Robin would always use her hands (like, her extra hands) to keep Sanji's skirts covering her legs because girl be fighting with Zoro without realizing she's wearing a dress, lmao. The thing about her fighting style being all about kicking doesn't mix with well with some outfits.

Usopp used to be invited to girl nights, along with Chopper. Because Chopper is just, like, y'know, kind of their lil brother and Usopp is... Usopp is Usopp. He's the bestie of the gals. He's one of the girlies (he is not. He's just there because he's like the token gay friend in the girl group that always stands out. Like in teenage movies. Dude wants to be there and Nami doesn't complain). But once Sanji starts joining those girl nights, Usopp is completely banned from them. No boyfriends allowed.

Robin and Nami start using "Sanji-chan" to talk about her and it just makes her feel so so so happy!! (Actually I had to look up if Robin uses -chan for Nami and she actually does when talking to others about her???? Which is cute. I think they'd do it with Sanji for gender-affirming reasons mostly rather than just using honorifics).

Whenever Sanji argues with Usopp (surprisingly more often than you probably think, but it's just about stupid stuff) she always goes to Robin because she's the rational one and will probably help her better than anybody else. And also Usopp asks Nami for advice so Sanji can't exactly go to her.

If I start talking about my ideas for Whole Cake Island with transfem Sanji hiding that she's a girl and Luffy going after her to save her I might actually die so I won't (and this would probably change this whole thing to a Lusan post and we don't want that right now). But!! Thinking about Sanji in WCI missing Robin's presence because she always knows what to say, and not knowing if telling Reiju is a good idea.

Summary: After Mya's death, Aaron committed suicide. Mr. Peterson, desperate to have a family again, kidnaps the depressed and heartbroken child across the street, Nicky Roth.

Chapter 7

"Everyone keep in mind that today after school, we shall hold a suicide prevention assembly in honor of Nicholas Roth. Let him know that he will be missed."

It had been four weeks since Nicky was pronounced dead.

The gang was looking at the new article on the bulletin board, about Nicky's suicide.

They still refused to believe it.

Nicky did it...

Nothing they did to try and help him heal worked, and he ended up doing the worst thing possible.

All just to be with Aaron again.

Trinity felt tears running down her cheek, ruining her mascara. "We could have done more to help him.", she said. "But he's gone now."

Maritza looked at her shoes, then she backed up against the wall and slid down to the floor. "Now I know how he felt after Aaron died. Grief can mess you up."

Enzo walked over to his friends, he sat down next to his sister, not looking anywhere but the ground. "Hey.", he said.

"Hey.", said Maritza, "I heard you got sent to the principal. What for? Did you beat up Seth?"

"No.", replied Enzo, "I beat him and Ruben. They said they were glad Nicky died, they were happier than when they found out that Aaron died."

Maritza angrily stood up and punched the wall, "I HATE THIS!", she screamed. "Nicky was a good person! He was sad, but everyone else just kept telling him to get over it!", then she started crying. "It's not fair!"

Enzo wrapped his arms around his sister, "I know, sis. I know."

Then the whole gang wrapped their arms around each other.

After school, the gang walked home together, not saying a word. Not like anyone wanted to talk anyway.

Enzo was still dreading going home after being sent to the principal's office, he didn't want to face his dad after that.

Everyone was so lost in thought, they ended up bumping into Officer Keith.

"Oh, sorry, kids.", said the police officer, "I was just trying to get to my car.". Then he noticed all of the kids' depressed faces. "Oh...are you all okay?"

"Gee, I don't know! How do you think?! If one of your closest friends killed himself, would you be okay?!", Maritza snapped. "No, dick! None of us are okay!"

Officer Keith put his hands up in surrender, "Sorry I asked.", he then bent down to their level. "I know it's hard. I know it was hard for him when he found out Aaron was dead, too."

"Yeah, you have no idea.", said Ivan, "I can't believe he jumped off a bridge."

Keith stood up and pressed his lips together in a tight line, "Yeah, about that. We still haven't found the body, so we still can't prepare a funeral."

No body?

Then why did the note say he jumped off a bridge?

Trinity looked at Officer Keith, "Sir, if I may ask, can I see the note for a moment?"

By the time anyone sees this, I will be dead. I can't bear the pain of knowing that the only person who understood me is gone and there's nothing I can do to bring him back, but there is something I can do to be with him again.

Trinity furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Sir, where did you get this note?", she asked.

"Do you know Mr. Peterson?", asked Officer Keith, the kids nodded their heads. "He said he found it on his way home from the grocery store."

Trinity didn't know why, but something about that seemed a little too suspicious.

First of all, Nicky would never sign a letter as Nicholas, he doesn't even like it when people use his full name. Second of all, Nicky hadn't even seen that much of Raven Brooks yet, so how would he know if there was a bridge?

Trinity handed the note back to Keith. "Thank you, sir."

Officer Keith nodded and walked away.

Enzo put a hand on Trinity's shoulder, "You alright, babe?"

"I don't think Nicky really committed suicide."

Everyone widened their eyes when she said that. "What do you mean?", asked Maritza.

"I mean I don't think that note belonged to Nicky, someone must've forged it in his handwriting.", replied Trinity. "But the only question is who?"

Ivan looked across the street, and his eyes accidentally stumbled upon the Peterson house. He looked through the top window of Aaron's room, and he saw a familiar silhouette. When the silhouette stepped closer, his eyes widened once again. "Isn't that Nicky right there?", he asked, pointing to the window.

Everyone else looked across the street, and they could've sworn that their hearts nearly jumped out of their bodies.

Nicky was alive.

But what was he doing in Mr. Peterson's house?!

Chapter 2: Here we come, Mason's Point!

Brook was scared.

Those goddamn photos. Who on earth managed to get one of Sasha? Especially of when she was seven.

This whole situation had brought up a lot of suppressed feelings in her, and it didn't help that her nightmares were going haywire now.

All of them were the same. She was in a graveyard. None of the names weren't readable and the letters just moved to quickly to even try to decipher. There was always an anxious feeling in the air, an anticipation for something.

It ended with a gunshot, and she woke up.

She was now tired, feeling guilty and stilling trying to balance in everything else. Not a good mix.

And based on the way Finley and Anastasia were looking, she assume they were doing as good as she was.

They all sat in the Chaos cabin, looking anxiously between each other.

Finley's eyes were red and puffy and Brook would tell she had been crying her to sleep based on what she looked like that morning.

Anastasia had clearly been trying to avoid her emotions, and nearly broken her hand during training.

"Okay, let's just acknowledge it. Finley, I think you're right about Mason's point." Brook spoke up. "If it's a trap, it's a trap. We're going to die from no sleep if you don't do something."

Anastasia nodded. "We can't keep trying to live in this state."

"I'm glad we agree, cause I'm desperate enough that I was considering going by myself." Finley admitted.

Brook nodded. She couldn't say she also didn't think about it.

Finley looked down at her feet. "How'd they die?" She asked quietly.

"W-what?" Anastasia spluttered.

"How'd they die?" She asked shakily, slightly louder.

"What do you mean?" Brook asked.

"The people in our photos. How'd they die? I think they have something to do with it."

"Well, we know how my sister died." Brook stated.

"Annie?" Finley asked.

Anastasia shook her head. "I can't tell you."

Brook was perplexed. This was 100% a touchy subject, but it wasn't like Anastasia to downright refuse talking about something.

She looked over to Finley, who was glancing at her with a concerned expression, before she turned back to Anastasia.

"It's alright. Tell us when you're ready." She squeezed her shoulder. "But, I assume there's a pattern. If they wanted to scare us, they'd like send us a severed limb or something."

"True." Anastasia chuckled weakly. "Mason's Point, huh?"

Brook nodded. "I'll look up where it is."

"That's probably wise." Finley nodded too. "How are we going to get permission to leave?"

"Go see Aria?"

"I doubt a prophecy's going to help us." Anastasia voiced. "We know where we need to go, and we have three."

"But it would warn us." Brook pointed out

"Is that really a good thing?" Finley said quietly.

Brook paused. It was an interesting thing to consider. Is knowing the future really a good thing?

"So, what do we do?" She asked.

"Get there ourselves." Anastasia stood up. "I can get us there."

Finley smiled. "I forget you can teleport."

"Where is it?"

Brook looked back down at her phone. "Just in New York."

"Oh thanks gods." Anastasia sighed. "Not far if we need a search party."

"Yeah. So we're doing this?
"

"We're doing this." Finley agreed. "After dark, I'd say. 2?"

The other two nodded. "Time to solve a mystery."

They all met not to far from the strawberry field.

Brook at least four different weapons on her, and was running on pure anxiety at this point.

A part of her wanted to turn around and go to bed, but the rest her knew that would A) be pointless and B) make her regret it for the rest of life.

"Hey." Finley greeted in a whispered.

"Hey." She greeted back. "Annie here?"

"She was, but she went to leave a note."

"Smart." Brook nodded, just as Anastasia came running over.

"Sorry!" She whispered yelled. Brook wasn't really sure why they were whispered at this point.

"It's fine." Brook waved a hand. "You still came."

Anastasia nodded. "We ready?"

"Physically."

"Ready as I'll ever be.


"Uh, is that a yes?" Anastasia asked.

"Yes, that was a yes."

"O-k. Grab on." She held out her hands.

They both grabbed on, and after a few seconds it felt like the world slowly began to spin.

The feeling became faster and faster. It was honestly kinda sickening.

Right before it felt like Brook was about to vomit, they were gone.

"But I can-" "You're not going to win, Brooke Davis." - She's not happy you sent her home but she's also glad you did - She doesn't need anyone else to see her like this and stare at her with pity - Even after her call with your cousin, Peyton, she realizes you've helped her more than anyone (other than Deb, obvi) - You check on her continuously which she loves to pretend is annoying but's it's your love language for literally everyone - She appreciates it more because you're respecting her boundaries - She always appreciated having you by her side more so since you didn't try and cage her from the world which is why she's never afraid to tell you anything or ask for your help - When she goes looking for her almost daughter, you're by her side - With the attack and aftermath, you didn't feel comfortable leaving her alone - You help her take down her attacker before having to pull her away before things get worse - You hold her as she breaks down that night, never telling a soul - She doesn't know how she could have gone through this without you by her side and never wants to find out

I am convinced that I will write that headless zombie story idea someday, but it's so unformed that it's going to be years before I get to it.

For now, I'm still writing FLOAT! So have something from that. This scene happens right after a storm where we lose some sailors:

I see River holding a pillow against her chest, face buried in it. The force of her crying rips from her chest with every breath.

As soon as I realize what’s happening, I scramble out of my chair and over to the bed. River flinches away from me when I first put my arm around her and my hand on her shoulder, but she realizes that it’s me as soon as she raises her own head. Then she turns to bury her face in my neck and be held.

“What happened?” I ask gently, even though I have a pretty good idea already.

River is crying hard enough to make her words stilted and jumpy. “I didn’t—I couldn’t—she was all—alone, and I couldn’t—”

So it is Rosebud. River sounds like she’s been having the same thoughts I have: I didn’t do anything to save her. I couldn’t get there in time. She walked up to the stunner on her own, before I could tell her it was a bad idea.

My grip on River tightens, trying to help her feel grounded in the present moment instead of remembering the swarm. Her nails dig into my bicep, but that’s fine. It’s probably helping her, and based on the way my heart starts racing when she does it, the sting is definitely helping me wake up.

“River, these things happen,” I tell her, pressing my face against the side of her head so she can hear me. “If it’s anybody’s fault, it’s mine. I should have paired her with someone more—more experienced, so she could learn how we sail.”

“I was staying with her,” River says, nearly wailing with her insistence on feeling guilty over this. “She—she was nice to me, and now—she’s dead.”

I know that she’s dead, but we can’t fall to pieces over this. We’re waiting out the storm, but I can’t let anybody on my crew obsess over their mistakes. That will only lead us to indecision, the paralysis of fear, and further death. I have to snap her out of this.

Moving to sit directly opposite River means pulling away from her, but I bring us into physical contact again when I firmly set the pillow down into her lap and place one hand on each of her shoulders. She is wearing one of my tank tops, so my hands meet warm skin. I push my head forward to catch her eye and stare River down. She’s still weeping, fat tears rolling down her cheeks, but she isn’t trying to avoid eye contact, either. I’ve caught her.

“River Bilal, you just defended my entire crew from a swarm of fish. On top of that, you saved Brook and probably the entire Oasis from some sort of giant squid. Do you think any of us can do that kind of stuff?”

Even though I meant it as a rhetorical question, River shakes her head. She’s starting to calm down a bit more, breathe a little easier.

“Exactly. You can do things we can’t, but you won’t be perfect. None of us are. It’s difficult surviving here, we’ve all lost someone. I’m just glad it was stunners instead of blades.”

To be honest im a bit overwhelmed by the fact that i remember very clearly when i read the arabasta arc not so long ago when it updated (actually it feels like it was maximum a month ago) and now we are about to meet Brook.

Well also true that it can be because between 2 updates i usually read the early chapters again but still, i cant even remember when i found this book but definitely love every second of reading it.

I will be very emotional when we meet with Brook and he will talk about the past and i will cry when we arrive to the "I'm so glad I'm alive" part

oop okay i havent updated this in longer than i thought lol. spoilers under the cut !

finally read the starless sea by erin morgenstern ! good lord beautiful writing, beautiful imagery, and the stories nestled in between the main plot were so entertaining, just as much as the main storyline. characters were sweet, i wasn't in love with the romance subplot but like. the setting, the books, OUHG. that's really what i was focused on so if other aspects lacked. i dont care tbh. entertaining and fun and just overall gorgeous. not what i was expecting but a pleasant surprise.

next i read godkiller by hannah kaner, also a pleasant surprise ! the world was fun and the characters were interesting, and i'm curious to read the sequel !!! not much else to say about it tbh it was a fun fantasy read and also the audiobook slayed.

next i read the centre by ayesha manazir siddiqi and oml went into this knowing it was about language and well yes. but it's also about a failgirl and her questionable decisions and well i do like that. it's not my favorite but like yeah. yeah i get it. i think sometimes for me when i read books about women that just suck i find it a bit too relatable and start to hate the book like. i start thinking about my failures and problems instead of the characters and then im not interested in the book anymore. especially if the failgirl in question has money. its like well just shut up. sorry thats rude people with money can be sad but also like thats a book character so i dont care shut up. anyway this book was also about language so i liked it !! and cannibalism which was also fun. i loved the conversations about translation as consumption and translation as violence. i'm thinking about becoming a linguistics major at my local college so like. much to think about and digest (lol) i think topics like this are really interesting. overall a fun read !!!

after that i read a teeny tiny little short story the only harmless great thing by brooke bolander and GOD it was so good. like damn the pov changes between the elephants and the humans and like the nuclear waste warning and the elephant's stories and just uhg. ouhg. definitely recommend as like a sad bittersweet aching story

finally, i most recently read everyone in this room will someday be dead by emily austin and well. i'm writing this as a time killer so i don't look like i've just been crying when i go out to register my car LOL. like the beginning didn't quite hook me but im so glad i stuck through because i was absolutely sobbing by the end of it. like full on ugly crying. the characters were all lovely and real even tho some of them were bigoted like barney ... i hope he lives well even if hes super homophobic the author made me feel for every character. and the mc at first i didn't love her because i couldn't quite grasp her reasoning behind some of her decisions or her situation, but once i got further in i really started to see myself in her. which okay going back to the last book like i know i said i didn't like books that are just about failgirls well this one was different...... idk it just hit me the right way. the way she cared so much for every single living being around her made me care for them too, flop the bunny, mittens the cat, grace and rosemary, jeff, etc. like. pretty much every time she cried in the book i was also crying. which is like a lot. i also okay and i haven't examined this fully with myself but i really saw myself in her in regards to her depression and anxiety (i know these are not her only issues but these are just the ones i relate to specifically) and i can't help but reflect on how some of her choices, i probably also would have made if i wasn't were i am today, or if i wasn't medicated, or seeing a therapist, and that i've come pretty far from where i started. which feels really fucking nice. anyways i would recommend reading this if u like sad stories about sad girls that find themselves in The Situationstm. also if you've taken your anxiety meds. bc i forgot and my heart was pounding along with the mcs the entire time almost to the point where i had to put it down lol.

I just want to say it's been delightful watching you get into One Piece. It's been one of my main fandoms for years, but most of the people I was following who posted about it moved on to other things and I didn't have the energy to try to find new ones, so my dash has been pretty empty of it and I mostly just kept up with the anime/manga and not much else. Your enthusiasm for it, and all the art you've been posting and reblogging, has been a highlight of my days. I have a One Piece fanfic I've been trying to finish for years, and I've felt more like writing it in the past week or so than I have in a very long time (haven't actually managed it yet, but maybe soon, I hope). Also the intro to Celestial Dragons and slave trade is so. Man. This is VILE. The extent of horrors the Government will look away from because they’re Celestial Dragons doing the horrors. AUGH. Gross. The situation is revealed in a really neat way too, very engaging. Sooooo satisfying watching Luffy full on punch one CD in the face tho, BLESS. Love that funky lil dude. He really doesn’t care who you are, he can and WILL punch you if friends are threatened.

ALSO I do see Ace’s execution being set up in the bg. I know in a general sense what….happens to him. I don’t like it, let him out 😭
