Okay, if you were asked who are in Merlin BBC & Voltron that you can see based on canon that are gay/bi/pan/demi, which characters are they? Why?

What a fun ask I'm totally not doing to procastinate on cooking... XD

BBC Merlin

Arthur Pendragon is, in my head, demiromantic and bisexual... It sort of depends on the circumstances/episode. Arthur needs a very long time to really feel connections with people and only starts to consider love after he really gets to know them, hence his constant search for true love in the show. With Merlin I'm not entirely sure if he was attracted to him instantly, strangely enough feeling a connection from the moment they met, or if it takes him till the end of the series when Merlin confesses his magic and finally shows his true self to realise the depth of his feelings.

Merlin is, well... Bi Bi Bi. A disaster bi in fact. With a preference for sweaty men in metal boxes, he's not very peculiar. However, Merlin is a one person hyperfixation kind of guy. Most people are convinced that Merlin's gay.

Gwen: I feel like most people in BBC Merlin are bi and Gwen is no exception. Like Merlin, she prefers the hero type in metal uniforms. But she also had a thing for Morgana in the beginning.

Morgana: lesbian. I have never seen a woman so disinterested in men, I'm not surprised that they casted Katie McGrath in supergirl as supergirls love interest. I might settle for homoromantic and asexual. But definitly in love with Gwen in the very beginning.

Sir Leon, my beloved, the immortal, the one and only, the eternal suffering aro/ace. I don't have to explain this one. The only counter moment is the Lamia episode where Leon suddenly develops interest in women out of nowhere. My personal take is that anyone could be fallen under a Lamia's spell, this one just had a taste for men (and male presenting).

Sir Elian: once upon a time I clocked them as nonbinary and sadly that's as far as I thought into this character. Pretty sure he's aromantic. He/they pronouns. I dunno, I don't think Elian would conform to anything if given a choice. Aromantic too, I think. Like Leon, there is no interest there, but he does play around with Percival and Gwaine quite often, so I'd take that as allosexual.

I am excluding Gwaine because I think canon Gwaine is written as a straight oblivious fuckboy. Albeit a kind one XD fanon Gwaine is often poly/ pan... Or into apples. Lmao XD and I'm not sure about Percival because the man has a dead wife and kids.

Voltron

Keith: with his lack of interest in women, he can only be gay. That man looks at no one quite the same as he looks at Lance. what the hell was the whole bonding thing if not a hint for post canon klance? Sorry, not sorry XD rivals to best friends to lovers.

Lance: *bi bo bi* bisexual lighting Lance. Doesn't matter if you prefer klance or shallura, this man is a walking bi flag. I don't know what you mean by proof, just look at this wiggly boy with the fingerguns. He can't even sit straight! Can't do math either. He's perfect!

Shiro: probably the only character in my entire history of shipping that I would unqueer without feeling bad about it. I know he's gay, I just don't really see it in the writing. Of course there aren't always clear signs that someone is gay which is why this is good rep actually (+he's married), but you asked me for proof in the show and all I see is that this man is a dad. That's his gender and his orientation and that's all I really need to know.

Pidge: aro/ace because I love my aroaces and this child loves robots and robots only. Also nonbinary/genderqueer. Pronouns: fuck/off XD

I think Lotor should have been bi. Pre-canon Lotor had us Langsters ship Lotor x Lance and it was so much fun :D

Bob: gender: evil, orientation: villain. I hate this guy

Coran: the georgous man is either gay or pan. More likely pan because I vaguely remember he had a son?

Voltron: Shiro! 

 -As an INFP, you’re probably someone who looks for the good in everything, and tries to find a solution to every  problem. Shiro is very much the same, and he’ll go out of his way to help people in need, even if it’s a tricky situation, so he’d want an s/o with the same kindness and bravery. 

 -He wouldn’t mind a shy and reserved s/o, because although he’s more quiet than some of his teammates, he’s very good at keeping up a conversation and getting people to open up, so he’d be sure to get to know you and get you to be more comfortable around him before pursuing a relationship.

 -Shiro is also a very rational person, who looks at things from every angle. He tries his best to find good solutions, as mentioned above, but when it comes down to it he can make hard decisions without breaking a sweat. An s/o like you who would understand his thinking and wouldn’t blame him for the things he does to try and find the best solution would be the best fit for him. 

Batman: Bruce!

-Bruce also really struggles with opening up to others, especially with his own feelings, so maybe having an s/o who also has the same problem could help the both of you open up and be more honest to each other.

-Bruce’s entire persona is centered around helping others, so he needs an s/o who fills the same way. He isn’t forthright about it, but he really does want to protect and help as many people as he can.

-As Bruce’s s/o, you have to be a diplomatic person, as you’d be brought to many places-formal and informal-with him and must meet a lot of people and know how to handle them.

Disney: Flinn!

-He’s also a pretty sarcastic person, so he’d like it if his s/o understood his humor and was able to do the same thing to make him laugh! With your own snarky humor you’d be able to contend with his without any problems at all! 

 -He also likes to travel! While one of his main goals is to settle down and have a family, he’d still like to go out on journeys with them! He likes sightseeing the most, especially if it’s somewhere impressive he hasn’t been able to visit before. He’d be really cute on travels and keep a mini journal of all the places you go together. 

 -He’s a pretty stubborn person, so he’d need a hardheaded s/o to convince him to do certain things! Since you’re argumentative, it seems like you’d be able to do that! You wouldn’t need to do it all the time of course, just in situations where you know he needs to get something done for the better of the both of you or for him.

6: what made you realize your current label fit you?

Basically when i was sixteen I'd been hearing about asexuality and it was starting to make more and more sense. I was thoroughly convinced i was straight though, so i didn't really realize that i was ace until i learned that someone could be ace and alloromantic at the same time. Then, learning about aro labels started making me question if i was het at all, and i realized i was probably aro when i heard the label cupio-

However, dating b last year and p this year and having confusing feelings about multiple people has started to get me wondering, so I'm loosely settling somewhere on the aro spectrum but also biromantic, because I'm pretty sure gender isn't a factor in who i like

Oh man, so many. Every character in Voltron of course. Bi king Lance, gay Keith, pan Hunk and Allura, trans ace lesbian Pidge (trans Keith and trans Lance and grab everyone are also wonderful hcs! I don't usually hc them as trans but anyone who says they are is right!), canon gay Shiro my beloved, gay Coran. All the main characters in avatar too, sorry i don't make the rules. Will Byers from stranger things is definitely gay or aroace (I've only seen the first ep of the new season, so idk if that's been confirmed yet, but i bet i would have heard about it if it was so I'm betting not yet). Literally Every character in Jujutsu Kaisen, there's not a single cishet in that entire cast there's no way. Listen. Trans Yuuji, trans Suguru, trans Yuuta. I'm stopping now but you see where I'm going with this

"Hey, Shiro, can I talk to you?"

Of all the paladins, Pidge was about the last person Shiro expected. Hunk asked him to taste test the latest attempt at recreating comfort foods from Earth, Keith had started coming to him to train knowing how much his adopted brother worried about him, Lance would come by just to talk and relax (Shiro knew it was because he had a well-known habit of not relaxing). But Pidge had been withdrawing, spending more and more time alone in her lab with only Green for company. It worried Shiro, and he could only hope she would talk about it eventually. She was there now, and he would be there to hear her out.

"Yeah, of course. Everything ok?"

Pidge took a deep breath. She reminded herself that Shiro was safe. Safe to talk to, safe to confide in. He would listen to her without judgment. She knew she could trust him with anything after he told her he knew that she was Katie Holt and that he would keep that secret. He was patient then, letting her tell the team in her own time, and she knew he would be patient now. But her problem was bigger than an assumed name. At least it felt that way to her. She knew the team would be supportive and treat her the same as they always had. But talking about it in the first place was hard.

"Katie?" Shiro asked.

Pidge realized she'd gotten lost in her own head again overthinking. "Right. I just -- I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I know you guys won't care, or, I mean, you will, just not in a bad way. But it's hard to talk about, and I don't really know what to say to them, or even myself. Like, I don't know where to start, or how to explain how I figured it out, or even if I've figured it out --"

"Pidge, slow down. Figured what out?"

She knew she was rambling, but it made more sense to her to start at the beginning. "I started thinking about it a few weeks ago. I just never really had time before. You, Dad, and Matt left for Kerberos, and then you guys went missing, and I was so focused on figuring that out, and then we found Blue and then we ended up here, and now we're in this war we never knew about. There just wasn't any time to think about it. But listening to Hunk talk about Shay, and suffering through Lance and Keith refuse to admit anything to each other, I started thinking. And I realized that I don't feel that way. I've never felt attracted to anyone like you guys are. So, yeah. I'm asexual. And I'm pretty sure I'm aromantic too. I just don't know how to tell everyone else."

Shiro had sat, and listened, and waited until Pidge was finished working through her revelation and coming out. When he knew she had said what she wanted to get out, he wrapped her in a hug that almost completely engulfed her tiny frame. Coming out wasn't always an easy process, and he couldn't fault her for being nervous. When the tears of relief slowed and then stopped, Shiro let her pull away.

Pidge wiped her eyes with her sleeve, sniffling. "Thanks for listening. I didn't know who else to talk to."

"Anytime you need, kiddo. Now let's go tell the team if you're ready."

"Yeah. I think I am now."

I'm a libra but I'm pretty shy & quiet at first, & it takes a while for me to warm up to others. When I do I make terrible puns & annoy my friends to death. Haikyuu match: Sawamura Daichi 

- pun and dad joke extraordinaire, together you two can annoy your friends with your poorly timed puns. 

- encourages you to talk about your feelings with him, he’s in check with his and wants you to know you can trust him. 

- will probably cook for you, expect a lot of in home dates where it’s the two of you making dinner over too large candles followed by dessert and then either star gazing in the backyard or a movie 

- very understanding as to why you don’t want to open up and he would never force you into situations too uncomfortable. 

- is allergic to cats (headcanon i have), but really would suck it up for you. they make allergy medicine for a reason 

Voltron Match: Lance McClain

- would probably take you around in blue or red to look at the stars while you tell him about astronomy and different space facts you make. he would also put you in blue or red for you two to have some one on one time to read. he doesn’t want everyone else knowing he reads. he also may ask for a drawing or two. 

- really likes your over all look thinks you’re beautiful, wants to keep a hold on you as long as he can. 

- very open to you and would expect you to be open with him. he understands it takes you awhile to get past the walls and he’s willing to wait it out. 

- is it possible to have too many puns going around the castle at once? because between you, Lance, Shiro, Coran, Pidge, and Hunk no one is safe. 

- would him calling you spACE but inappropriate? if so he’d stop and settle on more loving and appropriate nicknames like ‘baby’ and ‘love’

You know you could talk to shiro or me about it. I know the basics now due to shiro teaching me though shiro is the expert on those kinds of things" she hums.

Lance found himself and Pidge separated from the others on some random tropical rain forest-like planet, he had been pretty badly injured during the fight against the assault from a Galra sneak attack.

He was an unconscious, bloody mess when Pidge found him. He was just lucky to have crash landed on the same planet as the Green Paladin, and nearby enough for her to find him.

When he finally comes to, he hears Pidge’s voice telling him that she’s got him. He takes in a quick inhale, his deep blue eyes shooting open in a quick moment of fear before he realizes that they were currently safe.

“Pidge?” He asked, just to be certain he wasn’t seeing and hearing things. He didn’t know the extent of his injuries but he definitely was in pain and felt completely drained.

“Ow…. Am I dead….?” He groaned out.
