Huh, this is a tough one. Can't really think of any.

I guess I'll fall back on an oldie but goodie and say the ARK, as a whole, was morally ambiguous. While they weren't performing unethical surgery on Shadow, you also don't develop WMDs in secret without some kind of agenda.

I also think GUN's shadiness fluctuates depending on the game. They seem to have shaped up after the events of ShTH and started acting towards a more collective good in honor of Gerald's memory, but their actions in SA2 suggest an inept government. And, well, you know the old saying about stupidity becoming indistinguishable from malice after a certain point.

I tend to wonder what the Commander's plan was during the events of SA2. Although the game portrays GUN as a bunch of flat-feet until it's revealed that they raided the colony, I can't help but wonder if he in some part manufactured Sonic's framing in order to head public scrutiny off at the pass, much like how they portrayed the raid as an accident reponse. I can't imagine the Commander would have liked it to be known that Eggman stole Project Shadow while it lay under his jurisdiction.

THE ENTIRE WORLD CAN FIGHT ME ON THIS BUT YOU ARE TRIPPING IF YOU SAY SA2'S TREASURE HUNTING STAGES ARE WORSE THAN SA1'S. BITCH WHERE. HOW. WHOMST.

AT LEAST THEY'RE NOT COPY-PASTED DIRECTLY FROM SONIC'S LEVELS WITHOUT REGARD FOR KNUCKLES' MOVESET. ROUGE AND KNUCKLES MOVE JUST AS QUICKLY AS SONIC AND SHADOW. "IT TAKES TOO LONG" YEAH BECAUSE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO LEARN THE LAYOUT AND GIT GUD. JESSE WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. THIS IS SUCH A NONSENSICAL CRITICISM FOR A GAME THAT HAS KART RACING. 💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?

You all are really gonna hate me, but Blaze. You could remove her from '06's plot and nothing would change. Hell, the fact that she resides in a different dimension inherently means you could remove every single aspect of her circumstances and nothing of the series at large would change.

Idk man, I just don't think she adds much, honestly. Her personality is kind of Mary-Suish while also being underwhelming, as well as largely informed: her fear of heights, for instance, doesn't impact Rush's gameplay at all. She enjoys special exceptions other girl characters don't, and it's a pain in the ass to even include her in a future game because you have to explain why she isn't back in her own dimension.

2121 zombies, and 1 zombie villager, have been slain so far in my quest to upgrade my gear. I have a full level 30 enchanter set up now, and have managed to add feather falling iv to my boots, unbreaking iii to my bow, axe, shovel, and both my picks, and my armour. I got better luck with the level 30 enchants ngl. Bow is infinity for now, but I'll switch to mending once I get some fletchers set up and have an arrow trade, since i haven't found a skele spawner to farm yet. Sword needs some work - would like to upgrade smite and get unbreaking on it, but it's okay for now.

I finally tamed the tuxedo cat that's been stalking around the base. I now have three cats! My cat (Dora, the tuxedo), Jellie, and the siamese, which doesn't have a name yet.

I've started clearing and flattening land for the cathedral that's going to go over there. Still a ton of work to do, but worth the grind to get unbreaking iii on my shovel tbh. It also has efficiency v, which does seem like overkill for a shovel but I'll take it lol. ngl clearing trees with one (1) unbreaking iii fortune iii mending diamond axe is a lot more fun than doing it with 37 unenchanted iron axes. o.o

A bee has moved into this hive! :D I set this hive up ages ago for aesthetics and also hoping more bees would move in, and it stood empty for a long time, but I saw a bee hanging around it while I harvested crops for trading, and saw it had honey in it! :D I will have to set up a proper bee farm at some point, but the hives i have around the place rn will do for the time being. I really don't need a lot of honey or honeycomb as I have no plans to use copper rn. I mostly need it for candles tbh.

Finally, an auto sugarcane farm! :D It's probably not the most efficient or amazing farm in the whole entire world, but it does the job, and at least it's harvesting for me bc I never remember lol. Built it from memory bc I've seen so many ppl build them. I only checked one tutorial after I'd built it to double-check my design, and that's when I figured out I needed the observers across the whole top row, so. It's slow, but hey, the iron farm I built is also quite slow, but I have SO MUCH IRON now omg. o.o Like, I literally do not need to build a larger farm bc I already have more than enough to work with.

was ambitioning towards video games for a hot few years after finishing school until i realized you cannot make a whole game alone (unless u wna die in the process) n thanks 2 control issues i won't let anyone touch my ideas i wna do everything myself. therefore that Sucked (+++ i got tired of shoveling money @ a private uni that ultimately taught me nothing)

n even now i doubt i'll actually do anything jp related (initially) im vaguely aiming towards a translation masters now even tho my BA thesis continues 2 stomp me into the ground lol

There are already a bunch of iron farms on the server, it's one of those kind of servers lol

Also you can always just grab rails from mineshafts to get started in which case you wouldn't even be wasting iron that could be used for something else. It's just the gold that's the problem really but spawn is at a mesa biome! Which also means more mineshafts to get rails from!

And the thing is, I don't even particularly care about setting up rails immediately, that wasn't my point. I'm perfectly fine with walking for now, but the ice boat roads are not optimised for foot traffic at all because people have been saving on ice so it's only every other block. It sucks.

Anyway mostly I'm just sad that I never get to do rails because everybody's like "but ice boats are faster" and then they also don't like the idea of making the tunnels wider to fit rails as well and once we already have the ice it's all like why would we waste resources on the rails and I'm like BUT I LIKE THE RAILS. Idk, maybe one day I'll just passive-aggressively make my own entire nether network right above or below the main one just to do the rails (except I won't because that's way too much work to do alone and I have chronic pain)

I'm not even really complaining about the current server so much as a previous one where I had to fight tooth and nail to even get the walking option added and I designed a whole system for rail travel which would have also taken into account long distance vs short distance travel and semi-automated stops and everything but I never got to build it and I'm just so salty.

And I know there were other people there who didn't like the ice boats either, like I actually don't get sick on them, I just have the problem with the world loading, but there were other people who said they did get sick. They were just too nice to ask for alternatives. Also yeah the head-hitter running is not great for people with certain kind of joint issues or shaky hands or chronic pain or other stuff. Or some older players, we had some middle-aged people who are not super experienced in video games. Also frankly even the ice alone can be a struggle for some players because it messes up your movement.

And so often the response to those concerns is just so dismissive. Especially that last one, people seem to just kinda imply that you should just git gud. Because they can't see how it could be frustrating for someone who hasn't played video games their whole life or who gets disoriented easily, or doesn't have the fine motor skills for it. (In my case I just find it obnoxious, I do enough sliding on icy paths in the winter IRL tyvm.)

Rails are actually great for a lot of people exactly because it let's them take a little break and rest their hands while still making progress! And the minecart won't stray from the correct path, and you can design the stations to activate with buttons so there's no problem with the minecart running away from you either.

I've played on one server that had a comprehensive system of rail travel in the nether and it was so nice! It was so well designed! I loved it! And it seems like so much fun to design and try to optimise a system like that! I just don't get why some people are so opposed to it! Especially late game when there's plenty of iron and gold and redstone available! And yet people will insist that the nether tunnels need to be big enough to fly through and on the same breath tell you that rails are unnecessary and too much effort.

Okay I should be talking to my current server mates, not complaining on Tumblr about past grievances with people I don't even play with anymore.
