ALMA : Shiharu's punishments have been intense as of late. Just the other day, I got my backside whipped, like Daste currently is. I thought I'd split right in half, haha! The welts he left behind even effected Karma. I found a bottle of ointment with a note saying, "Kill!" 

EMMA : (Karma...)

ALMA : I wonder if something unpleasant happened to Shiharu to make him this way~

DASTE : That fucking asshole, Shiharu! I almost cried this time!

EMMA : Daste, are you okay...?

Rielle, at First, was confused by the Sudden arrival of a Letter to his Dorm. Then followed by Fletcher rushing in with the most Unexpected thing to say:

"Rielle! Someone from Night Raven College has sent a Gift to you!"

Now, Rielle only had one person in Mind who'd know it's his birthday today, And it was Azul, but, considering their past.. It's impossible, so who?

Rielle sighs as he stands up, Going to the Tired male and ruffling his hair. "Alright, Let's see this Gift of mine, hm?" Fletcher nods and the two got out of his room, and Onto the Dorm's lobby.

When Fletcher pointed at the Gifts, he expected for one of Those to be from the NRC Student, but.. He was proved wrong when Fletcher gestures towards near the Entrance.

There layed a Beautiful Spear, colored in Deep Blues, with it's Blade shining beautifully by the Sun's bask. The staff was Long, so the Blade was Slender and pointed, alongside that, by the Connection of the two layed a Customized brooch, Silver and Metal mixed to create the Main body, with some Pearls on the side, but the Gemstone in the middle was the most Surprising one.

It was a Citrine.

Rielle had his fair share of Knowledge on Gemology, and it's Pyschological meanings.. So, he was quite surprised to see it.

A Citrine stone meant Gratitude, if gifted, it means the Gifter sincerely appreciated their time spent or whatever the Giftee did to recieve such a stone. It meant as a Sincere Thanks, and Rielle felt flattered.

The prince reaches out to touch the Elegant spear- bit was stopped mid-way when he heard Fletcher speak.

"Here was the Attached letter to it, I-I believe it was for you?"

"Really now?"

Rielle takes the Letter and opens it, Maybe this can reveal the Gifter's identity?

"Hello, Rielle,

I hope this was sent in time for your birthday, I'd hate it if it were sent a Day early or late. If it does, then, Happy Birthday, Dear friend"

Kanata tried to think of things like where he wanted to go and more for his photoshoot for a pamphlet. Since he ended up only thinking of his own likes, he tried turning things around and thinking from a different angle.

Souma: Shinkai-dono! I've finished cleaning up the floor in the exhibition "ay-ree-a". Where should I clean next?

Tetora: Shinkai-senpai, I'm done cleaning the staircase ♪ I wanna know where to clean next, too!

Kanata: souma and tetora, you both work so hard~

Kanata: thanks to you two helping out, i save on labor costs, so that helps a lot...♪

Souma: No, no, we're just here to show you our gratitude. From cleaning to odd jobs, you can order us around as you please.

Tetora: Yup. You let us eat such delicious fish, so please make us work all you want!

Souma: I have no problem with it. I only have afternoon "less suns" today.

Tetora: I'm done with today's work... Ah!

Tetora: Speaking of work, there's something I want to ask you, Shinkai-senpai!

Kanata: ? something to ask me?

Tetora: I happened to hear that you're having a solo live, but Midori-kun and Shinobu-kun didn't seem to know anything about it, either, so I thought I'd ask you if it's true.

Souma: "Feature Live"?

Kanata: i only just heard about it from anzu-san, so i haven't even told the rest of the "unit" yet.

Kanata: it's true that i'll be appearing in a "feature live".

Kanata: a "feature live" is a "mini live" where an "idol" performs "solo"...

Kanata: i heard they'll also photograph me for a "pamphlet" like a regular "live".

Tetora: Ooh, a pamphlet! Have they decided what kind of pictures they'll take?

Kanata: mm~, not yet. it seems like they want me to "request" some kind of picture i want to take, or some place i want to go.

Kanata: i said i want to get in the "ocean" and "puka puka" if i can...♪

Tetora: Wh- you can't get in the ocean in the middle of winter! Morisawa-senpai will scold you about how it's bad to get in the water in winter, yknow~?

Souma: Indeed. You'll catch a cold, so I would like you to refrain as well!

Kanata: ... hmph. you two, please come up with something for my pictures, then.

Souma: A picture of Shinkai-dono, huh. Hmm~...

Tetora: Ah. Shinkai-senpai, that "shuffle unit" you were part of recently... What was that show called again?

Kanata: "dj classics-kun"?

Tetora: Yeah, that's it! I thought you were really impressive on that show.

Tetora: It's probably 'cuz I'm so used to seeing you the way you are in Ryuseitai, right? So your performance with the shuffle unit looked really fresh to me ♪

Souma: Indeed. I haven't been able to watch it yet, but I look forward to seeing how different it is from the usual Shinkai-dono...♪

Souma: Now that I think about it, when Hasumi-dono participated in a "shuffle unit", he gave off quite a different impression from when he's with Akatsuki.

Kanata: that's the one midori "participated" in, right? midori looked great wearing a "tuxedo"...♪

Tetora: He looked really cool~. Seeing it made my heart pound, thinking about how it felt like he made that expression because he was able to stand there.

Souma: Hasumi-dono's elegant and beautiful smile filled with love is also something we don't see when he stands on stage with Akatsuki.

Tetora: I like seeing them the way they usually are, too, since it's more familiar, but...

Tetora: It's like, "it's them, but something is different". Getting to see a different side of them because they're not with their unit is kinda nice~

Kanata: hehe. should i do the same for the "feature live", then?

Kanata: since i'll be "solo" on "stage", without the rest of the "unit".

Souma: I wonder if we will get to see another different side of you from the Shinkai-dono we see with Ryuseitai.

Tetora: Waah~, I look forward to it. I'm already excited to see what kind of stage it'll turn out as and what you'll sing and all that.

Kanata: ahaha. nothing is decided yet, so i still have to consult anzu-san~. i need to think of what to do for the "pamphlet", too.

Souma: Ah, now that you mention it, we were supposed to be talking about the "pamphlet".

Souma: Pictures of Shinkai-dono, pictures of Shinkai-dono...?

Tetora: U~myu...

Kanata: this is my own thing, but i'm bothering you two now, aren't i?

Kanata: i think the "fans" would be happy if there are many sides of me in the "pamphlet", so...

Kanata: i'll use what you two talked about as "reference", and keep thinking about this on my own.

Tetora: Got it! We'll be cheering you on from the sidelines, too...!

Tetora: In that case, we'll go clean the entrance.

Souma: We have to clean it up well so the visitors are met with a pleasant sight.

Kanata: thank you~. if there's ever anything you don't understand, just call me, okay?

Souma: Acknowledged. We'll be off, then ♪

Kanata: ... alright. i should get to the “store”...

Kanata: (... even so. after hearing what both of them had to say, i'm "contemplating" things.)

Kanata: (they wanted me to make a "request", so i tried thinking of where i want to go or what i want to do, but...)

Kanata: (so far, i've been... i may have been “prioritizing” my own likes too much.)

Kanata: (if i had an "idea" of how to show a different "side" of me, it would probably help anzu-san, too~?)

i hope i don't overstep by saying that i really love you for creating such a safe space here for so many people. And such a fun experience, with so much heart. And you as a person in general because, genuinely, you're amazing amazing amazing.

You and your blog really are a place i often come to and get to heal my soul a little a find shelter from life. 06 Self-care

Gratitude journal: First of all, I'd identify myself as someone who's really pessimistic, that's why I specifically chose the gratitude journal. Looking back, I really felt like I was having a hard time cause I felt like I was forcing myself to find that "happiness" or something that I'm thankful for in my daily situations. At the start of the challenge, I remember setting up a reminder on my phone so that I would not forget taking pictures. It just shows how my mind was not initially into it(?), that sometimes I just don't feel like being fully thankful for this life I have. The first day was mostly about people making me happy or doing stuff for me.

-Rafie joining me for a walk to my room

-Bianca got 4 marshmallows in the activity hahahha (omg hi maam)

-my friends from ab psych sending cute selfies

.... and a lot more!!

All I can say was that through this activity I was able to appreciate the people around me so much more- that I've been taking little things for granted.

After knowing that I focused too much on being thankful for people, I tried to observe the mundane things in this life. Like the pretty dicot root specimen, golden hour making the library steps prettier, brooklyn 99, being able to participate in the stakeholders meeting (despite being a freshman), trees making our dorm cooler, etc.

On the contrary, there were some things that I had to modify. First was that I was not able to categorize the stuff I'm thankful for just like what I said in the previous blog. I was also supposed to post every day but I ended up posting every other day, probably due to the time constraint and the academics load. Nevertheless, I was able to accomplish the task!!

My main takeaway from this activity was that better things in life outweigh the bad ones. Maybe what made me become a pessimistic person was the gravity of the bad things I've experienced-- that the negative feelings from those experiences were engraved in my heart (Peak end rule!! hehe). Moreover, this activity actually served as proof for the positivity ratio which states that flourishing people have a ratio of 5 to 1 when it comes to positive and negative experiences. I also noticed how oblivious I was to what was happening around me since I tend to focus on things that have grave meaning to me. I would probably continue this gratitude journal by posting in my dump Instagram account since I'm used to do updates there! Lastly, I'm just happy to know that I have a lot of people to count on, that even though I may feel alone at times, someone's always there for me.
