I'm tempted to start observing the 13-month/28-day calendar (none of that ethiopian 5-day month weirdness).

we'll have to forgo using the current names of months to avoid confusion, so roman numerals are out of the question. let's use english instead seeing as it's lingua franca right now. bear with me. but, monthone, monthtwo, monththree, etc.

but we should probably sync our first day to the lunar cycle because why not, with the year starting on what used to be jan. 6, 2023 (first full moon of 2023; it's really too bad that the solar and lunar calendars don't match up; side note: dates will be written YYYY-MXX-DD). so, today's date would be montheleven 20 (0001-M11-20) (I'll need to check my notes on that).

that takes us to 364 days in a year, so we'll need a day or two of rest and/or bacchanal for each of earth's trips around the sun. those can have special names like solsticeone and solsticetwo or something.

while we're at it, we're moving time to a decimal system across all digits. none of this 2-hour or 60-minute cycle nonsense. 10 hours in a day (and no daylight saving time). (I wish months could be decimal, but alas, el sol didn't want it so.)

I've been slowly obsessing more and more about asoiaf fashion in the past 6 month, and really developing in details how it would look in different regions, classes, etc (the North being the one I have the most complete picture on). And I wanted to put some of this to paper instead of endlessly turning it in my head before I go to sleep. Usually when I costume design it is confined to a specific character, I've never done like worldbuilding fashion design, but idk asoiaf really gets me going.

So here's the North ! I could have kept going and added more stuff, but if I try to spew all the shit that's in my head I'm never gonna finish this x) So I focused mostly on great houses/nobles fashion for this. Maybe I'll do a sheet for smallfolk or practical clothing like battle armour after I'm done with all the kindoms. I already have to continue the anti AI quest...
