As time went by, the health of Whumpee and the three other team members also gradually improved.

Whumpee is starting to be able to walk with a cane; he is taking less medication; and he is now starting to eat solid food. Whumpee still has check-ups and physical and mental therapy, but he's coming through just fine.

Even so, nightmares about Whumper still often haunt him. Wakes him up in the middle of the night and sometimes makes it difficult for him to breathe. At such a time, Caretaker would definitely come to his side and calm him down.

Honestly, Whumpee is grateful for Caretaker who is always by his side.

Whumpee likes to see Caretaker's back who is busy cooking in the kitchen from where he sits. Whumpee enjoys Caretaker's soft caresses. Whumpee always looks forward to Caretaker's voice calling his name. Whumpee likes everything about Caretaker.

Like this morning, after waking up again from a nightmare last night, Caretaker slept with him in the same bed. Whumpee wakes up in Caretaker's arms and feels safe there. Caretaker woke up not long after, smiled and said good morning.

"You slept well, didn't you? Didn't you secretly wake up while I was sleeping?" Caretaker asked while stroking Whumpee's cheek.

Whumpee shook his head. "I sleep comfortably because you are beside me."

"Thank goodness then. I'm glad to hear that," Caretaker chuckled. "You know, I'm really grateful that you can finally come home."

"I've been home a long time, Caretaker," Whumpee answered.

"Ah, that's right. It's been almost a month since you were discharged from the hospital," said Caretaker.

"No," Whumpee said, shaking his head. "Not that."

Caretaker looked confused.

"I'm home. Since I've been with you, I've been home."

Caretaker was shocked; a single tear hung from the corner of her eyes. She felt moved and happy.

Caretaker hugged Whumpee tightly, whispering the same sentence when Whumpee came home from the hospital: "Welcome home, Whumpee."

Whumpee smiled and tightened the hug. "Yeah. I'm home."

These are hawk moths (I don't like their name in english, oof), most of them are from Primorie, but there's also one from Thailand, which I'm surprised with. It's name is «dull forest hawk moth» and I find it kinda funny for some reason. They don't even look that gloomy!

They all are very pretty, I'm happy I got them.

okay, I am back in Utah! my cats are very cuddly and I am feeling so much better now that I am home. It is time to decompress and focus on getting better.... because I have girls camp in a week.

I would say that I won't be active for a bit while I work on getting my health back up, but let's face it. Tumblr is the only thing keeping me sane half the time.

at some point I'm planning on going through everything I was tagged in and doing that stuff because it's always fun :)

probably won't be writing any time soon, but we'll see -- I was going to start a writing challenge with my cousin but then I got sick with what we think is the flu. In July. There's a lot of factors. The past few days have been a literal fog for me, but I'm pretty sure today in day 6 of illness, so hypothetically I should be in the clear. I had a bought of motion sickness earlier but we got that resolved, and as soon as I post this, I am on the hunt for food I can eat that won't upset my stomach on the off chance that I actually do have a stomach bug and me throwing up last night was not a one-time thing.

I'm still really out of it, but I am home! And alive! And have air conditioning! I'm going to make some toast and watch B99! Hopefully this cough won't kill me--

Everything is so heated (pun unintended), the sparks fly every now end then, the remains of the team are broken... and I love to see how they are still trying to survive together and developing new dynamics. It certainly got much calmer or... healthier? with Silas back in action because he affects the others like a bucket of cold water, apparently. Very useful. I SEE what y'all did there avoiding talking about what was up with him in the beginning of the season! Congrats on making a listener worried 😄

Alyx feels very fragile and enigmatic. I wonder how her way is going to unfold.

Also bravo to the attempt to show that Beckett has his struggles too (which usually makes a character more... humane and triggers empathy) and still keeping my desire to strangle him intact 😁

the gas line was found under a centimeter of spackle, grout, and paint. yay.

today (the "everything will get done last day") began with the empreiteiro telling me he'll do what he can today but not everything will be done. so that's... that's fine.

empreiteiro also said the countertop piece won't be installed bc it needs to be installed in the cabinet which neither exists nor has any hope of existence in the near future
