im fucking traumatized my mom's golden retriever attacked her other dog in front of us and i was desperately trying to break them up by putting myself in between them but the dog kept fighting to get past me and she was so scary i couldn't even recognize her and she bit our other dog so hard in multiple places there was blood everywhere and i was screaming and now we'll have to put her down because this isn't the first time she's been agressive towards the dog like she has a history of agressive behavior and she's bit both people AND animals multiple times and we've tried to help her by seeing a behaviorist and doing the exercices and keeping her out of stressful situations but they said she had a mental illness that caused her to be unpredictable and anxious and aggressive and that's exactly what happened. she got scared out of nowhere and started violently attacking our other dog who didn't do anything to defend herself and we couldn't make her stop we had to wrangle her into a room and close the door and hold our golden retriever against the bloodied wall with our legs and ive never seen anything like this i can't stop crying this is our baby she's our baby and she was unrecognizable i cant believe this i feel like we failed her we couldn't cure her we couldn't provide her the forever home that we promised and now she hurt our other dog and it's all our fault
