okay so he’s got these rapid healing powers making him functionally immortal right and he was part of this experiment called Weapon X that grafted adamantium to his bones— right so adamantium is a fictional metal that’s indestructible, oh and only other adamantium can dent it yeah— so he fights with adamantium claws— no so the claws were bone but now they’re metal, well actually that’s depending on which canon you’re following but anyways the point is that he can heal real fast and he has metal claws

how does he have healing-? he born with it, yeah people are born like that in marvel comics, yeah it’s called mutation, some of them are more human-looking but some aren’t and some of them have destructive powers

no so not all mutants are heroes, but logan is— his name is logan btw, yeah his superhero name is wolverine. why? idk i only know the x-men origins movie explanation. yeah it’s just logan- well technically it’s logan howlett and in the movies it’s james logan howlett but that’s not important okay just know his name is logan

yes hugh jackman plays wolverine. yes he’s hot we know, but logan’s actually short feral AND hot in the comics and most animated adaptations. no he’s not edgy and a loner what gave you that impression— the movies? buddy. buddy. this guy is a dad okay and yeah he’s pretty mean but he cares a lot, he’s not that edgy.

so im leaning towards ogjoseph having lived in fort pinta as a kid, then moved away for college and come back as an adult. he traded his pickup truck for a failed thoroughbred steeplechaser and became a ranger for a good few years. he hated the snow (just like neo alien joseph) and was annoyed that he got sent to the dinosaur valley outpost where hed eventually get alien possessed and made to kill everyone there. his thoroughbred spooked and ran off when he first encountered the alien but was recaptured by the team sent out to find the rangers who went missing

tl,dr: I am now once again very autistic about the how to train your dragon books and really need someone to talk about them with. If you are one of my mutuals and likes these books, or even if you aren’t one of them and feel like it, please message me lol.

OMG so my sister was home from college recently. last night we were talking and the conversation got to the how to train your Dragon books. My sister is going to be running a kids on bikes (or kids on dragons lol) style rpg campaign that takes place during the early reign of Grimbeard the Ghastly.

For context, I hadn’t been interested in/thought about these books in years. When we started talking about this, It’s like a switch flipped in my brain. The HTTYD books were simultaneously my and my sister’s special interest for a large chunk of our childhood. It’s like the special interest was lying dormant in my brain, waiting to be reactivated.

Now I’m rereading all of the books in order. I’m listening to the audiobook versions that are narrated by David Tennant with the orchestral composition. I just got to the first chapter, and I started happy stiming so much ahkgakdjalksgdf

if you like these books, and I know there’s a fandom out there, please please please message me or something. I really need someone to hyperfixate with. Please do keep in mind that I haven’t read these books in years though, and am in the process of rereading them, so I might not fully remember some things.

Also, if this autism continues at the rate that it is now, I might have to make a side-blog lol. Probably gonna make fanart too so it might be worthwhile.

(also sidenote: if you like these books and have never listened to the audiobooks, go do it. It is so worth it. David Tennant does voices and sings the songs and everything. Also the orchestral soundtrack in between each chapter is so amazing. It was literally made specifically for the audiobooks.)

hi hello, sorry it took so long to get to this, it’s probably too late at this point lol, motivation just kind of dripped away in the last couple of weeks

Rn when I think about Bluebelle the most is when I’m trying to think of ways to introduce her to the rest of the jellicles or to keep her on the brinks. I’ll probably never actually write anything, but I like to have the story my head concretely.

I’ll prolly do more art of her or Bluebeard in the future but whether or not I’ll post it is anyone’s guess. Bluebeard is a character that I basically stole from 17th-18th century storytellers but I still adore his design so fucking much. Sorry guys I cat-ified your fairy tale villain.

I guess I’ve sort of slid to the funny side of oc headcanons lately because in my head I keep referring to Bluebelle Vicci and Plato as Bluebelle, her girlfriend, and her girlfriend’s boyfriend.

I just kind of thought it was funny i have no idea what im doing 😭😭
