I wasnt going to answer any more asks about it, I was just gonna go bye bye and enjoy life as I did before I was a kpop stan (that is unless YG comes out and says it's a lie, which is what we're praying for on this side), but I figured since I'm hating on Jennie so much, I might as well give you an explanation.

And before anyone comments 'WOW YOU'RE SO OBSESSED WITH HER', I used to be a blink. Shocker, I know, but what a lot of you don't know is that I'm a YG stan, meaning I love all groups under YG. Blackpink were ANNOUNCED and I already loved them, that's right, pre-debut. I was a fan up until ddu ddu ddu era, after that it eventually went downhill.

Just a little background was needed.

Disclaimer: I absolutely adore Jisoo and Rosé is indifferent for me. My problem lies with the other two. Jennie especially, Lisa is more of a 'I don't like her attitude' kinda thing, I don't hate her.

Onto my essay we go.

1. The fact that she's a spoiled little bitch who got everything she wanted before, and still gets everything she wants now is appalling. Her family is filthy rich so she probably just woke up one day and said 'gee I want to be an idol, even though I have no skills that stand and I don't even live in Korea this seems pretty cool'.

The point here is that she always gets what she wants.

Don't believe me? Her nickname is YG's princess.

Still think I'm exaggerating? Ok.

Jennie was the ONLY ONE out of the group who got a solo.

Jennie got a solo while they still had promotions going on. Jennie had group AND solo promotions. While that happened, Soohyun from AKMU (AKMU is a group under YG formed by two siblings, a girl and a boy) was left TO STARVE. Her brother went to the army and for 3 fucking years she was left to nothing. Her brother said she even wrote a whole album and YG said no. Instead Jennie got her solo. Soohyun had to wait over a year after that to get a song to come out, which totals to 3 years she waited for a comeback.

And please, someone riddle me this, I beg of you. WHY did Jennie get the solo. She's not exceptional at dancing, she's not exceptional at singing, she's not exceptional at rapping. I don't even know how she got this famous within the group, Rosé's got the vocals, Lisa has the dance skills, Jisoo has the face, what does Jennie have? Why did she get the solo? Why not Rosé? Jennie keeps hogging brand deals and front row seats at fashion shows and instead of giving Jisoo and Rosé a chance Yg said 'here my little baby, take this chance and make a very basic and underwhelming song that everyone will love regardless for some reason'

And the fact that she didn't have any repercussions (believe me, when YG punishes someone, you can tell. Just look at Hanbin, he got kicked out bc one time he thought of buying drugs :D) after breaking one of YG's biggest rule is appalling to me.

For whoever doesn't know, YG hates happiness and love and he doesn't let artists date. Now I don't know what the contract says, but just so you know, Bobby from ikon said in an interview during Killing Me era (2018) that they weren't even allowed to be in the same room as the female trainees. iKon debuted in 2015. And Jennie, in 2019 (3 years after their debut, just like the 3 years that had passed for ikon at the time of bobby saying that) was caught getting into Kai's car and it later came out that they were dating. Bonkers, I know.

But she still got away with it.

2. The 'injury'

Now I started hating Jennie around the lazy Jennie period.

Basically she was performing with the happiness and energy of a fat girl running the mile in P.E class. If she could look any more uninterested she would be a corpse.

Now later it came out that she twisted her ankle and that's why she was performing that way. However, last time I checked ankle injuries don't affect face muscles or arm movements.

GD had a heat stroke mid concert. He performed with T.O.P, right after that he had a heat stroke and in the 4 minutes T.O.P was performing a solo he got better, because after top he had a solo to perform and fans paid for a show, and G-Dragon delivered a show.

The thing that I really don't understand was the way she performed her solo and the group songs was completely different. And that's what triggered me. Like oh during your solo youre busting your ass but in the group songs I guess it's not worth it.

She could have AT LEAST made a less bored face.

So, so many idols perform with injuries. So, so many idols perform while their mental condition is absolutely fucked. Is it messed up? Yes, yes it is.

And do I know how much it hurts to force your body through pain? Absolutely I do. I'm the only libero in my team, my knee is fucked and my back is begging me to stop but I couldn't stop because my team needed me and even if my back pain wakes me up at night I play as if everything was alright because that's what I'm there for.

And that's what she signed up for. What? Once inconveniences hit suddenly being an idol isnt cool anymore?

Try being Rosé, she busts her ass and she changed her voice to what YG wanted and he still ignores her and gives her no brand deals. You can look up how neglected she is.

I also used to stan alot of groups (exo, monsta x, got7, b.a.p, svt,etc.), but I sorta fell out, so nowadays I only actively follow stray kids, nct and bts 😅 Right?? There is always a song for any situation and mood, which makes it so much fun to listen to! My playlist is still 85% k-pop, even if I'm not as active in the fandom anymore😊 My story is pretty similar to yours, except it was my grandparents who used to watch it growing up! (Part 1 because wrote a long ass ask shdhjsjs)

When i tell people that my kpop phase happened the same time as my emo phase they're like wow you weren't ok 😂😂 I remember a bit of nct like when they first debuted and I vividly remember Bubblegum or smth like that. I recently got back into kpop like idk a few weeks ago. Hmm... to be fair I really don’t find any groups over rated? They all work extremely hard to make it and they all deserve love and appreciation.

Aha I have quite a few that I really don’t like: Gangnam style, catallena by orange caramel, bar by crayon pop, zimzalabim and umpah umpah by red velvet (IM A HUGE FAN OF THEM OTHERWISE DONT COME AT ME PLZ)

15. What aspects of kpop make you cringe/feel secondhand embarrassment?

How crazy the fans can be at times. Stalking idols, mobbing them, and sending people death threats or saying hurtful things to others just because they don’t like your bias group is 🙅🏻‍♀️

It depends on my mood and the group, sometimes I love cute concepts and sometimes they make me cringe. Sometimes I like dark / sexy concepts and other times they make me uncomfortable. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In particular though I love Ateez whole pirate concept I must say.

18. If you could trade places with an idol, who would it be?

Oh hmm that’s a good question! Maybe Taehyung so I can be best friends with Jimin and all the other bts members and play with Yeontan :3

My bias list is so over the place. I don’t really have a criteria. It’s usually one thing or moment that makes me say “wow ok that person is my bias”. (Although by coincidence most of my biases are from Daegu)

For example: I had a hell of a time deciding who my bias is in got7 until JB said in an interview that if he could only keep one memory of got7 it would be when they first met so he could find them all again. Such a sweet moment.

20. Which kpop company do you hate the most?

That snake YG 🐍 I’m not even going to get into it but they’re horrible. Not to say I don’t like the groups from there, just the company. Starship kind of on my shitlist too after everything with Wonho.

21. What are you opinions on shipping?

I ship members in groups but I do so quietly because I’m sure it makes the members uncomfortable. So I don’t mind it, just don’t throw your ship in other peoples faces and act like it’s real and your ship is superior to others.

22. How did you get into kpop?

My neighbor was Korean and played me Big Bang and I immediately loved it. But Then she was like hey there’s this new boy group that debuted you should listen to them too. And that boy group was bts and everything just went up from there 💜

Yes 🙃 one person in my family in particular until I blew up on him and now I don’t get off handed comments anymore.

My ATEEZ Story So Far ❤️

Hey guys!! So I just wanted to share with you my story with ATEEZ as even though next week will only be five months since I became their fan and tomorrow is their comeback. ❤️

So i was thinking of maybe getting into ATEEZ last year when I first heard Wave, I had heard Say My Name but wasn’t 100% on the song at first but when I heard Wave I was hooked instantly, I loved the sound and I just loved absolutely everything, so I could have been stanning ATEEZ since August but I just never went all the way and it SUCKS!

But anyway it wasn’t until I had a friend I thought I was close to tell me she just didn’t want to be friends with me anymore for whatever reason, so I was on a terrible slump for a few weeks, but another friend of mine asked if I wanted to go with her to see ATEEZ in London in March and I was like, it’s gonna be a while until I see another Kpop group in concert and I thought it would just be cool to see them (and I get to see my best friend too) so I agreed and thought I should do my research on them, I only had about three weeks to learn enough about them and their songs before I’d see them in concert (but then it got cancelled for obvious reasons) and it took me a few days but I started by listening to their music alone to get a good listen to what their discography was like and I was really really enjoying it!! (DLBW, Thank U and Answer were really my faves back then) and then eventually I moved onto their MV’s and... that’s how I ended up where I am now 🙈

For having only been five months so much has happened for me and ATEEZ, even though the concert was cancelled I feel so connected to them in so many ways, since I got into them about three weeks before quarantine started here they’ve really helped me through the rough patches, my quarantine was very stressful due to my Gran showing heavy signs of dementia, I moved in with her to help my mum out and to give her some company since she lives alone I just thought it would be good! But unfortunately on the second week of quarantine everything started to go downhill from there and it was all just a lot to cope with, the only thing that was helping me get through it however was ATEEZ, I distinctly remember the first night I was staying with my Gran I couldn’t sleep cause I was in an unfamiliar place and so I do what I normally do at night and put my headphones in and listened to music, and it was ATEEZ.

They’ve really got me through the roughest parts of my life this year so far and they’ve really made me smile so much while things have gone on, especially my three boys Jongho, Wooyoung and San, not that the others don’t make me smile just as much cause they really do, but these three really just... wow are those boys so special to me... I don’t know what it even is about them but they’ve just always been my happy charms. They’re all such special boys to me and I can’t believe it took me this long to get into them, I hope concerts can start at some point soon in the future, even though I haven’t known them long... I miss them for some reason 🥺

I think of when I was watching their Treasure film when they were in Australia and I just felt so happy seeing them interacting with each other and just having fun (and then bawling my eyes out on the last episode) but the eight amazing talented members of ATEEZ have really just shaped my life and not only that but I think has brought me and my best friend even closer, it’s all because of her I got into them so I’m thankful for that... I just hope that there is nothing but happiness ahead and I can’t wait to go on this long journey with ATEEZ ❤️

Albert likes to think he’s gotten used to all of Race’s funny quirks and little habits.  He’d long since given up on getting him to stop biting his nails and the whole twirling his hair while he relaxes thing is pretty endearing.  But there are some things that still surprise him.  

Like his utterly amazing habit of withholding big life changes until they’re glaringly important and then announcing them as if he’s commenting on the weather.

Which is why Albert basically spits his tea all over his laptop one morning when Race announces he’s been cast in the fucking Broadway revival of Cats.

Fucking Cats.

Albert doesn’t even know what Cats is about.  Not that he’s ever really had the desire to know.  The whole show is a little too...furry for him.

It had been a mild Sunday morning up until then.  The sky was clear and blue and the sun rays hit just right on their bed, waking them up, but not disturbing them.  They’d lounged around for a few hours, switching between lazy morning cuddles and tiredly making out.  Life since moving to the City together had been exhilarating.  The freedom they’d once yearned for so heavily was finally at their fingertips, lending them the time to focus on their dreams and basking in the post college glow of their early adulthood.

Race worked at the local pizza joint when he wasn’t auditioning for whatever he could find casting calls for (which apparently included fucking Cats the fucking musical).  It was a good gig for him; it kept him busy and entertained.  Something Albert struggled to do single-handedly.

Albert on the other hand worked at a dingy mechanics shop a few blocks away, fixing up old cars on the side while working his way through the prestigious culinary grad program he’d somehow managed to get into.  All in all, they were doing well for themselves as 24 year olds living alone in New York City.

Somehow, they’d managed to drag themselves out of bed and into the kitchen, where Albert fixed them a modest breakfast of omelettes before docking at the counter to sort through some emails.  

Race was sitting next to him, absentmindedly petting Chips, their orange tabby, when he states, “I got cast in the Broadway revival of Cats.”

Albert pauses mid-type, glancing up at his boyfriend, who’s still intently looking at Chips, running his hand down the length of his back, “You what!?”

Race takes a deep breath, then repeats, “I got cast in the Broadway revival of Cats.”

Albert’s been rendered speechless by Race plenty of times in his 6+ years of knowing him.  But he’s never felt quite as...dumbfounded before.

“You got cast...in Cats?” He asks slowly, before shaking his head and backing up, “Wait, no, hang on, hang on...you auditioned for fucking Cats?”

Race ducks his head, a blush forming under his collar and around his ears, “Uh, yeah, I meant to mention it...but it never came up?”

Albert blinks again, “Who- what- what even is Cats?”

Race goes to answer, then closes his mouth hastily, “I don’t...actually really know…”

“How don’t you know?  You’re in the damn show!”

“I was only just cast!  I don’t know it that well yet!”

Albert makes a choked noise, “Okay, but you should at least know what the fuck the show is about if you went through a damn audition process- wait, when was this even happening? What- I’m so confused right now...my fucking boyfriend got cast in a Broadway musical- FUCKING CATS- and I didn’t even know he was auditioning.”

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you!” Race says, looking alarmed at Albert’s impending Cats- induced mental breakdown.  Chips gives an annoyed meow at the lack of attention being bestowed onto her and leaps off the counter, trotting away to find Queso, their golden doodle.

“I mean, you’re not entitled to tell me everything about your life, just...wow, I mean, this is big,” Albert scrubs a hand down his face, “I didn’t do anything to make you feel like you couldn’t share this with me, did I?”

Race’s face softens, “No, of course not, Albie,” he sighs, reaching across the table and linking their hands together, “I just got caught up in everything...sometimes things just feel so busy and overwhelming and I like to process it alone before letting other people in on it.”

Albert squeezes his hand, “That’s understandable,” he smiles, bending down to kiss his knuckles, “And congrats! I’m so proud of you! I mean, fucking Broadway...my boyfriend’s gonna be on Broadway.”

Race beams, “Thanks.”

“We have to celebrate,” Albert concludes, “I’m calling Spot and the others.  You better not have work tonight, ‘cause we’re going out for drinks.”

Race shakes his head, bemused, as Albert pulls out his phone to text their group chat.  

“Fucking Cats…” Albert murmurs as he sends the text, “Fuckin’....Cats.”

“Can you say that your bite is worse than your bark?  Are you cock of the walk when you’re walking alone?  Because jellicles are and jellicles do, jellicles do and jellicles would, jellicles would and…”

Albert freezes in the doorway to their apartment, slowly closing the door behind him as he strains his ears.  He follows the sound of the weirdly tempoed music to the kitchen, where Race is bopping around by the microwave, reheating last night’s dinner of chicken curry.

“Hey,” Albert calls, setting the groceries on the counter.

Race glances over, flashing Albert a smile and turning down the music a few notches.

“Hey, yourself,” he says, pulling his bowl out of the microwave and stirring it a bit with a fork to cool it down.

Albert crosses to him, pecking him on the lips quickly and grabbing a glass for water.

“Jellicles can and jellicles do, jellicles can and jellicles do…”

Albert wrinkles his nose, “the fuck even is a jellicle?”

Race shrugs, shoveling a forkful of curry into his mouth, “Dunno, some type of cat?  Google it.”

Albert hums, “So this is Cats then?  Interesting music.”

“I know, it’s kinda weird,” Race says, perching at the counter, “But it grows on you.  Rehearsal started today, so…”

“Yeah, you mentioned that,” Albert places his glass in the sink and leans against the counter, “How’d it go?”

“Pretty well, I made a few friends,” Race says, “Jojo’s in it.”

Albert smiles, “No kidding! That’s crazy.”

“Right?  I didn’t even know he was auditioning!”

“Seems to be the trend with this show.”

“I get it, I get it,” Race rolls his eyes, looking a little guilty.

“Jellicle songs for jellicle cats, jellicle songs for jellicle cats, jellicle songs for jellicle…”

“If they say ‘jellicle’ one more time I’m going to shoot myself,” Albert growls.

Race whips his head up, eyes slightly wide, “Oh, honey, you are not going to make it through this one…”

“Fantastic.”

“Hey, Race, have you seen my- WHAT THE FUCK!”

Race turns away from the bathroom mirror, fixing Albert with an innocent look.

“Have I seen your what?” He asks.

“No,” Albert says, pointing a finger, “First answer what the FUCK happened to your face.”

Race turns back to the mirror, dabbing some more orange cream foundation around his eyes.  Disturbingly, Albert notes that his makeup design looks very similar to Chips.

“Gotta do our own makeup for the show,” Race answers, padding a generous amount of setting powder around his face, “I’m practising.”

“Right…” Albert rakes his eyes over Race’s features.  So far, the makeup only spans on his face and down his neck a little, “What else does your costume entail exactly?”

Race grins wickedly and Albert swallows.  

“Oh, you’ll see.”

“Do you like my tail?”

Albert slowly closes his book, praying for strength as he looks up.  Race is standing by the doorway, rehearsal bag dropped at his feet.  His face is smudged- like he tried and failed to clean off all the layers of his meticulous cat makeup.  He’s dressed normally in adidas workout pants and a random t-shirt from a color run they did years back.  Protruding (Albert doesn’t wanna know how, but alas) from his backside is an orange tabby cat tail.

“Did you choose to be the same kind of cat as Chips?  Or was it some sort of creepy coincidence,” Albert deadpans, refusing to look at the tail longer than he has to and keeping his eyes fixed on Race’s face.

Race’s smile drops a fraction of an inch, “Wait, it’s weird that I chose to be her breed?”

Albert groans and picks back up his book.

“Congratulations!” 

Albert is met with a faceful of Race’s blond curls as the cast comes swarming out of the stagedoor.  He smells like makeup remover and sweat, but Albert doesn’t care as he kisses him, pride swelling in his chest.  

He doesn’t think he’ll ever get over the exhilarating feeling of seeing Race shine onstage.

“Thanks!” Race looks high on adrenaline and Albert never wants that light to leave his eyes, “What did you think?”

“You were so good!  Everyone was!  And the music was all better than I first thought it would be,” Albert said, playfully swaying them back and forth where they stood, keeping his arms wrapped tightly around Race, “Just one question.”

Race cocks his head, “what’s up?”

“What the fuck is Cats about?”

Race tips his head back and laughs, “I still have no fucking clue.”

Hoshi is leader of the performance unit and choreographer ofsvt. King of dancing! Master of stage presence! Is he on stage, he owns it! Differenton and off stage. A cute and funny fool off stage. Together with boo and dk he'sthe gag trio booseoksoon! His laugh is beautiful! It makes the world a betterplace. Can not only dance amazingly but also has a voice from heaven…. but hekinda shy with it! Round and adorable face but don’t call him hamster pls, hewants to be a tiger♡ and now I stop

Wonwoo: Nerd! Heloves books and newly also to work out and killing his fans like Shua does.Nose crunches together when he laughs uwu! Another kitten! Also watch him playwith a kitty, you will fall in love! His voice…wow. He is a different person onstage too like Hoshi! He is not there to joke, he out for blood! No really hisrapping is just killerish! WATCH HIS JOKER PERFORMANCE! Toll smoll! Idk how hemanages to look so smoll sometimes when he is a tower in reality. Funny guythat deserves so much love and appreciation.

 Jihoon (Stagename: Woozi):Thegenius!! Produces all songs of svt and idk if there is anything in the worldthat he actually can’t do! Creates music, dances, sings, gives love to the fansand members, is a whole man to fall in love with. Tiny! Mr. I don’t like skinship but is actually a koala. Woozi is the 3 leader of svt (Vocal unit). Checkout his solos! Simple and What kind of future are some of the best songs I everheard in my life! Tell me if you need links to the vids of the songs. I feellike he starts to open up more and more and I am so happy that he smiles sofreely lately.

Seokmin (Stagename: Dk/Dokyeom): Maybe thehuman being with the biggest heart in the world! Soft and so full of love!Deserves hugs all day long! Pls appreciate his voice cause it's just toobeautiful! Is always so hard on himself. KING ARTHUR! He played him in amusical! A true king! Is with Hoshi and boo in the gag trio and is also theleader of them (leader of booseoksoon). Mingyu: A tall afPuppy! Cute lil fangs! Looks like an absolute Model, is the clumsiest of thegroup. Tho he really really handsome, he also has amazing derp faces. Pls Mingyuyou the visual!!! jk pls derp as much as you want. BOYFRIEND TM! No matter ifhe raps or sings, you will die anyways. His Vlives are gold as he is mostlyeating and being clumsy. Adorable human I tell you!!! His shoulders aredelicious. Wide and nice. Wants to be loved! Pls love him lots. Was MC for Inkiand did such a good job there.

Minghao (Stagename: The8): Walkingart! He is not only good with fashion but seriously also with art! Does createart and takes great photos! Dances like it's nothing. As said before, check outMy I! Seungkwan: My littleboobear! (His name is Boo Seungkwan) Maybe the funniest and cutest out of thewhole group (fight me I love my boo). His voice is from another world! Doyourself smth good and go to listen to him and Hongki singing ‘Wind’! Again,tell me if you need the link! His voice is just perfection! Loud and shamelessmember of gag trio (booseoksoon). Seungkwan never fails to make the otherslaugh but it also makes him to a great victim. Has a bitchface like no oneelse. I love it! Can do girl group dances better than anyone. Variety king! so I'm just thinking about this Uber that I took the other day. My Uber driver asks me if I want to listen to my own music and gives me the aux cord, and I'm thinking "yeah sure let's enlighten this man with some K-pop" right? So I plug in my phone and I play some music and then I tell him some names, I sprinkle in some names. By the end of it he goes, "wow that was not what I was expecting it's so good. what?" and I was like "well ya." Now I've done my part you know? I spread the seeds of K-pop and now he's going to be curious. So he's going to check out probably BTS because that's the only group anybody knows and then once he gets into BTS he'll to get into other groups. Then once you start getting the recommendations for the reaction videos at this point in time there is a line. He has not crossed it yet. He can still go back, but he won't. I know he won't. So he'll go on social media and say "I just got into K-pop what are some songs I should listen to?" and then the K-pop stans will swarm. They will swarm him and tell him all the recommendations they know, and that is not including the K-pop guide videos. Once he wants to know about the members behind the music, once he watches the guide videos he will have crossed the line. actually he will have gone so far past the line that he won't even see it anymore. There is a line, but it's 55 miles to the South. You passed it man you're done you're gonezo you're done for. And although he knows he will have gone deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is K-pop, he will be content with every decision he makes. And that my fellow friends is how you become a Kpop stan.

SF9 Hi-Touch & Concert experience

As some of you know (?), I was at the Berlin concert last Sunday with a friend and I thought I might want to write about my experience!! I’ll put it under the cut for everyone who wants to read it, because it got a liiiiittle too long after all lol.

First off, the concert itself was LIT. They did a huge deal of my favourite songs, including one they didn’t do in the US, so hearing that was a pleasant surprise!! 

Their live vocals are no joke and their performance and stage presence are overwhelming. That was the third kpop concert I’ve been to, and as expected, every group so far had a very unique feeling about them. With SF9 what I noticed and appreciate very much is their honesty on stage. Like, I could feel just how happy they were to meet us and to perform for us, and how genuine they seemed - during the show as well as afterwards. And dear lord they are so handsome, Inseong was the first member I saw and I was just blown away by his sheer beauty, I tried filming the first song and f*cked up right when he walked in and I saw his face dkaslfjas. All of them just have amazing stage presence - they’re fierce when the song calls for it, they radiate emotion for their calmer songs, and all of them are just so charismatic. And they also learned a lot of phrases in German to talk to us and that was honestly so touching that they put in so much effort for their Fantasy.

Speaking of Fantasy - the other fans there were pretty chill too, I didn’t see a single one who wasn’t a multistan, and the Jaeyoon stan freaking out about the special fansign event two rows behind me in the vip line was a whole experience wow (bless u girl, there’s far too little people who bias our busan man)

But now for the actual Hi-Touch! All members did it with one hand, Dawon and Hwiyoung with the left one, the others with the right one also all their hands are so soft it’s unbelievable. The order (this time I could actually remember it lol) was as follows:

Inseong - Jaeyoon - Youngbin - Dawon - Hwiyoung - Rowoon - Chani - Taeyang - Zuho

Inseong: A while before the concert I was thinking about how I wished Inseong and/or Jaeyoon would be the first people for the hi-touch, cause I felt like they would be really good at calming the nervous fans (ergo: M E) down, and I wasn’t disappointed. He’s so beautiful with the pink hair (not that he isn’t without ksajfdlka) and he really took a hold of everyone’s hands as far as I could tell. He was so friendly and straightforward, that I felt at ease immediately. I’m usually a socially anxious person but with him being first - as well as the fact that all members just give me a feeling that I can trust them - I went through the hi-touch rather calmly. He also said something in English, I think it was a greeting but at this point I really can’t remember anymore.

Jaeyoon: WOW. He is a sunshine. A literal sunshine. He smiled so brightly I think I automatically just smiled back at him. I don’t know how to describe it well in words, but his happy aura just blew away all remaining nervousness I still felt sakjdflsa. He’s really amazing, such a warm and welcoming person. You can feel the fire inside of him and that he would make such a good hype man LOL. Also if u don’t wanna poke his dimples after having seen them in rl what r u even doing

Youngbin: OOF THE LEADER. This is getting tricky because the hi-touch went by so fast and with some members my memory isn’t as good as with others, but I remember getting a very... leader-like feeling from him (duh). His charisma is overwhelming really. He seems like a person you’d automatically respect, but also someone you can put your trust into. (Also fun fact: he and Taeyang walked past us just before we could enter the venue and wow he is so powerful truly, and also kinda smol but that might just be me cause I’m far too used to being surrounded by tall people lol) Oh and not to forget his BEAUTIFUL eyesmile!!!

Dawon: Now Dawon caught me a little off-guard, because he was using his left instead of his right hand. So I only touched his hand very lightly only a few days later I realized that was the perfect position to try intertwining fingers akjfldkas. My friend says she was confused because he was dressed like staff and I was just like???? Really???? Yeah, I don’t remember him so well, but I got the feeling he was really tired that day and not in top shape :/ He still did so well though!!

Hwiyoung: OH MY GOD. So my first reaction to Hwiyoung was thinking how he looked so much more handsome in reality than on pictures???? Like if I had to pick a member who seems the most different in rl and in pics or videos, I’d say it’s him. I just remember looking at his eyes and then his whole face and thinking how it seemed kinda more... even? Like we know he’s handsome in pics and stuff but in real life? UGH. He did the hi-touch with his left hand as well, so with him too I only touched his hand very lightly.

Rowoon: OH LORD KIM SEOKWOO. He is TALL, but didn’t seem as tall as I expected him to. I think he leaned down a little (my friend’s comment on that: f*ck off, I know I’m smOL kasjfklasj). I also remember thinking to myself that I should finally start saying “thank you” to them as I had originally planned, but then he said “danke” and I was like... what? HE SAID DANKE. IN GERMAN. IN REALLY GOOD GERMAN. I still hear that in my head kasdjflkas. So naturally I was too shooketh to continue my train of thought so I just,,, did the hi touch and moved on without saying anything whOPS. This is entirely his fault. Also my friend says he had SUPER SOFT hands and we both agree he didn’t seem as gigantic as he is!

Chani: Really I can’t remember much about him except he was sMOL and his hands too were SMOL and I finally managed to say my first “thank you” of the evening to him ksljfak. Friend says he wore his usual Chani-face and now that she mentioned it I remember it too skaldfjsak

Taeyang: With him too I managed to thank him, and I was genuinely surprised how BIG his hand was like???? WHOA there, maybe it was just in comparison to Chani’s but still. Also someone on twitter said he was sitting down for the hi-touch but I??? honestly??? don’t remember???? Anyway we all know how beautiful he is but LET ME TELL YOU if you ever see him in real life???? He is really one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen, and so so graceful as he walked past us outside the venue.

Zuho: He was just,,, exactly like you’d expect him to be. As I mentioned, the whole group appears so honest, but with him especially I noticed how he fooled around on stage as usual, but also how he treated us fans exactly like you see him do in vlives etc. I will spare you all the details here or this part would get far too long (me? biased af? naaahhhh....). This is super funny though because my friend usually just goes through these kinds of situations calmly at least on the outside, but she told me when she saw him and he smiled at her she just blacked out and froze up just before touching his hand because she didn’t expect him to be THAT adorable aksljfas. As for me, I was surprisingly fine with him. He didn’t say anything if I remember correctly (my friends says he said “thank you” very silently tho??? not sure...), but it’s like instead he conveyed with his body language that he was happy to meet us but you could also clearly feel the respect he has for us. It’s difficult to describe. His hand was soft as well, but I had the feeling it felt a teeny tiny bit rougher than the others’. I was gonna say something different to him but then didn’t have the courage after all and just said “thank you” - which I still regret a little bit tbh. 

Still, I feel like Zuho was the perfect person to send us off in the end, just like Inseong and Jaeyoon were perfect for getting started. Overall my hi-touch experience was a really good one, unfortunately the staff wouldn’t let us spend more than two or three seconds per member *coughcough* maybe mmt should value quality over quantity when it comes to selling vip tickets with hi touch next time *coughcough*, so my friend unfortunately got pushed forward a few times - I was lucky with that though and could pass through without getting shoved around by the staff (also shout out to that one staff guy hyping everyone up just at the start of the hi touch line lol, he was great).

10/10 would do again, and I can’t say it enough just how safe and secure and appreciated these nine guys make you feel as their fans - even more so when you meet them for real!

Another little thing that I’m sure happened at the other concerts as well in the respective languages: all their German pronunciation was sooo so good, and Tyang even introduced himself as “der Sonnenschein der Gruppe” = “the sunshine of the group” and WOW their German just sounded so good. I also remember Jaeyoon repeatedly fucking up “euch” from “Ich liebe euch” = “I love you”, and the other members correcting him akljfa. Inseong did most of the English talking and kept throwing in German phrases, it was great, in general they talked a lot of English to us so the translator at the venue didn’t have to do much, and in the end Zuho yelled “Auf Wiedersehen” and I sincerely hope someone recorded that :’D

And that was my (and my friend’s) concert experience! If anyone has anything to add, feel free to share your stories^^
