It’s WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.

Here’s how it works:

In a reblog (or new post w/ rules attached), post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.

Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We’re posting progress here. If you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to post!

Steve never thought he’d show up to a movie premiere in double denim but here he was.

Blue denim jeans and a blue denim jacket, underneath which was a white t-shirt, ‘Erica Sinclair’ printed upon it in bright pink lettering. The carpet was pink beneath his white sneakers, as were all the decorations outside the theatre.

He supposed it was fitting, after all the entire movie was bright and colourful and pink.

When Erica approached Steve about playing the infamous Ken, he had been hesitant at first. After all, Barbie is the toy all the girls cared about, what use was Ken? He was just another accessory.

But he’d gone into the backyard one day, after seeing a small pile of his daughter, Bobbie’s, toys in the mud by the old oak tree. He’d began to pick them up: a couple legos, a number block, and there, lying face down and shirtless next to a squished lemon, the man himself.

Ken.

I’ve been slowly drawing the live action crew! My original goal was to keep the actor’s features in an anime style but it’s been months now and I’m not sure if that stayed consistent. I also made sure they all had lips because I want them to be as kissable as possible or something.

I am very curious about 80s dystopia lore? Also very much in love with your characterization in the scribs of it! (Not to mention the very 80s aesthetic of high shine in neon light that a lot of your colored arts of it has)

(Apologies for the wait ahhhhhh been debating with myself on how much I’d like to share since I’m considering making this a whole project)

Shiooooooooooot appreciates it haha I’m still working out designs/character roles/lore but-! If I do end up going through with it more I’m thinking that WW is going to be more or less the main character, still working as a “priest” who follows around a really weird dude whos not a plant with feathers but,,, something else (insert fungi/fun guy joke here)

Moreso a “what if” scenario where the circumstances of how folks ended up on Gunsmoke led to the current setting

hey, y’all! i’ve got an exciting announcement to make!!

i’ve posted a few times about my upcoming seraphim ace (designated s-flame) fic, titled heaven down an angel. it’ll be a multi-chap story starting with an egghead arc rewrite, followed by a journey throughout the grand line and beyond. however, what i haven’t shared yet is this: i’ve got a partner in crime for this monstrosity! meet my close friend and amazing artist nera (@njere), who will be illustrating this fic!!
