No witchy Wednesday this week. Life decided NO.
#Mr kdnfb made me socialize two days in a row this weekend#bah humbug#it was fun but man did I crash on Sunday night#sick child#broken shit in the house leading to hurricane season is not a good idea#took a golf ball sized rock to my windshield#so that was fun#both my kids are now done with school for the summer#which means they’re already bored#and one of them is learning to drive#and he’s doing fine but it’s still a little stressful for me 😬#and of course the job search decided this week would be#feast time where we’re all these jobs six months ago?!?!?#so I’ve been applying to those which takes time#instead of working on my fics#also I might be headed back to a library#not the same one but in the same county cooperative#so my former coworkers gave me the stink eye when I asked them for references#now if I can just get a freaking interview….#but I’m qualified for those jobs#like recently have experience#and if I can just get SOMETHING#it buys me time to do internships#or crap editing or writing jobs to check that experience box#on my resume

#I started playing sky children of light and it’s so cute but they’re whole cosmetic acquiring system is so fucking stupid it angers me#yeah limit a GOOD chunk of your content behind a limited paywall that if you don’t pay and participate in the time frame it’s gone forever#and no one will ever EVER see it again haha sorry if you didn’t know this game existed when it was available it’s too late now#like some of it comes back and I get a bp function but like man#I had no idea this game existed till recently or the fact it had so much stuff in it#only to find out anything mildly interesting is from a season released on the first year#the game is like 5-6 years old now? something like that#and even though some content comes back occasionally there’s so much content at this point it will take forever for things to rotate through#and it’s only SOME not everything from that season pass#like holiday events being gone till next year? sure yeah I get it they want my money it’s okay#but basic content feeling like there’s a one in a million chance you’ll lay eyes on it ever again? that’s crazy#on top of the fact it’s so hard to find out where most content comes from??? and finding a coherent source that’s not a disc I’d never#guess existed unless my sister told me?#DEVS FIX YOUR GAME#only think keeping me playing and grinding is so I can max stuff out as much as I can so I get snag that jellyfish fit when it comes back#I’m also just so so so sick of every game I enjoy wanting all of my money for the simplest things#what happened to releasing a full game where cosmetics and fun extras were a grindy process that felt rewarding#I’d take buying dlc/expansions over dumb cosmetic micro transactions ANY day#okay coming back to add the fact that though there are basic cosmetics you can grind for without real money it doesn’t look that cool#it’s mostly just recolors of the basic cape and plain white outfits#aka do you#like pants or shorts or bell bottoms or leggings#aka a lot of the basic free cosmetics you grind for are boring af

Why must dieting be absolutely fucking miserable
#ed blogs please dni i am not associated with you#i’ve only been calorie counting for 2.5 days and i’m already SICK OF THIS#why is every food i like to eat like 200 calories per mouthful#i’m planning dinner because i’m SO hungry already and why is a dollop of mayonnaise like the same amount of calories#as a whole can of butter beans. what’s the reason for that#i’m NOT switching to light mayo. at that point i’d rather just cut mayo from my diet altogether#light mayo; reduced fat margarine; light cream cheese & reduced salt marmite all taste horrendous to me#light cheddar as well. i’m not eating it!!!#don’t get me started on having to cut out weed because i will just start crying#being sober turns me into such a hater but the last thing i need is anything that will increase my appetite#i’ll be fine in like a week once my body adapts to eating 2074 calories instead of like fucking… 3000 or whatever it was#most of which were junk. i’m very sad that i can’t eat more than one sweet or piece of chocolate per day but i’m just trying not to think#about it. and while i’m on the subject; since when are fibre one brownies so boring. i feel like they used to taste legitimately good#i’m going to take up running again. because then i will be able to eat more. but also i will be hungrier. i CANNOT win#they really need to invent a low calorie food that actually tastes good to me. every time i google it i’m like eurgh#celery and nuts. fuck off#if i didn’t have arthritis in my knee and a family history of heart problems i wouldn’t be doing this shit but alas! i probably should#i just want to take like 20kg of strain off my knees it should not be this hard. and yet!#personal

1) this might be the MOST embarrassing thing I post here ever…I was TRYING to escanciar bien but 😳…I SWEAR I DID A GOOD JOB UNTIL MY BF FILMED ME😭😭 pouring cider like this is a lot of fun and traditional to where I live🥰 (also you can hear the traditional bagpipes in the background😆)
traditional asturian cider (sidra asturiana) is VERY dry…not sweet at all, and it’s poured like this to aerate it. You have to pour in very small amounts and then drink it super fast before the carbonation leaves. There are special lids etx that you can put on the bottle though so that it pours a lot more easily and you don’t end up spilling all of it like I did😭😆
ANYWAYS every year my city does the cider festival…and we try to break the world record for the most people pouring cider at the same time. We didn’t get it this year😔🙏 but two years ago we did!! It started raining a little bit an hour before we were supposed to do it & lots of people bailed🙄 it rains every day here…what did they expect…
