When I put up my merch polls, someone filling it out asked for something with Ingo and Emmet’s teams, including Ingo’s gurdurr and Emmet’s boldore, because they’re often excluded.
It got me thinking about those two pokemon, and I like to think that at a time when Ingo would get back from Hisui, he’d see that gurdurr and boldore evolved when he was gone. And when Conkeldurr finally sees his trainer again, he’s very excited to see that they match!! Same goatee!!!!!

#the fake shoujo manga chapter divider in a shoujo magazine is complete!#this took me like three days to finish and needless to say I’m proud of it 😌#ok maybe apart from Steve I’m not too happy with how he came out#everytime I draw his s1 hair apart of me wants to explode cause of how confusing and hard it is to draw#I imagine that this (fake) manga starts off as a regular shoujo romance but slowly escalates into a sci-fi horror#I’d like to thank Betsumas online archive for giving me references of shoujo from the 80s and 90s#ngl this would have flopped without it#I took some inspo from the many different art styles I saw in my betsuma refs and added aspects to my already pretty anime style#I also stylized Jonathan’s hair differently to how I usually do it to go more in line with how I think it would be stylized#in an actual shoujo#same with Nancy too#I also did more softer shading and tried to make it look watercoloury as alot of the shoujo mangaka I like use it for more fancy art#in relation to their work#i don’t think it comes across that way but hey it was worth a try!#I’m either proud of the title of this fake ST manga or ashamed of it idk I can’t decide#anyways I might do a part two to this? idk it was originally my intention#hope y’all enjoy!#stranger things#nancy wheeler#jonathan byers#steve harrington#barbra holland#jancy#I’ll add the jancy tag cause this piece has the pairing in subtext (lmk if i should remove it at all cause this isn’t an obvious jancy thing#)#cw eyestrain#tw eyestrain#<-adding these tags cause I think this could cause some eyestrain

always wanted to arrange my artworks in a gradient and since I started drawing again over a year ago, I was finally able to put this together 🫶
#did an edit like that for an old fandom with official manga art and it’s kind of breathtaking that I actually managed to make a rainbow#edit with my own art?!? everything is 2023 art except the fall skk artwork but it matched yellowish green well enough lol#you can tell which kinds of color palettes I prefer but I really want to use more warm color palettes & maybe try more desaturated palettes#some other goals: drawing more women and environment focused artworks#(but who knows how much time I’ll have this year)#bsd#bsd fanart#my art#I did start a few non-bsd related artworks but didn’t have enough patience to finish them#that’s why it’s mainly skk too… the obsession hits different… I have other non-skk pieces I like too but the color palettes were hard to#fit into this edit…#my only non bsd related artworks where some concept pieces for uni#so strange to see the random mix of styles for this past year but also nice to see little consistencies#long post

#FINALLY. TOOK ME TWO FUCKEN DAYS TO DRAW THIS DUDE#I made it way too detailed cause I wanted em to look fancy but I’m probably gonna simplify it any time I draw them anyway shfjgsg#i changed my mind way too many times trying tk figure out Colors for them. I’m actually happy with how this came out!!!!#if you squint the sash and jinbu is a reference to sailor HEHE.. I tried to make it stand out without contrasting too much so you can tell#-that it’s not part of Xins aesthetic more like a piece of him they carry around with them <3 they make me ILL#I should also mention they can’t nock arrows for shit. they just use em to stab and cut things apart hence the lack of a bow#it was left by one of the scholars before the island was abandoned so they were like ooh stabby stabby#I just realized I put braces on both their arms and legs but I’m too tired to do anything abt it. Y’all I had another weird drdt dream last night where the drdt cast were like digimon tamers and had digimon partners and shit like that, and I don’t remember much from it other than the fact that they were, like, in the digital world and had to save it from some unknown force like in most digimon stories. Anyways, the only things I remember from it is that Min’s partner was Kunemon (which is funny because not only is it a bug but it also has electric powers and you know-) and that Rose had an existencial crisis. So that was interesting I suppose. Anyways-
