you’ll genuinely have to pry “where’d his game go?” out of my cold dead hands. we might have never seen it, but it has always been true in my heart of hearts that junpei talks to shinji for love advice and other general brotherly antics. for shinji to express such genuine disappointment in junpei just tells me all i need to know.

i just know junpei is blowing up shinji’s phone fr and their relationship started out w shinji being like “don’t text me” but junpei persevered and he gained an older brother through it. good for him. seriously good for him.

+ it will always be so true to me that junpei would help shinji open up in ways he normally wouldn’t. helping him to be vulnerable in a way that akihiko or mitsuru wouldn’t quite be able to crack despite their time together, only because even they could not be as silly or humorous as one junpei iori. he will get anybody out of their shell and i’ll stand by that forever. junpei you are so special…
