First actual post of 2025!

I just want to take the time to ramble a bit about TNG. The Name Game is very special to me if I’m being honest, it’s the first fic I’ve EVER written (not counting drabbles and the random oneshots rotting in my google docs) and it’s been such a surprise to see so many people enjoying it. It’s such a weird feeling, so many people liking my writing and art feels so surreal

TNG has only been out for six months and it’s already surpassed every expectation I had of it, and I want to thank all of you guys for that :)) I never expected my lil health comfort fic to attract this much attention, it’s a little scary haha!

That’s truly what made me write this fic though, (skip this part if you don’t wanna hear about my health struggles 👍👍👍👍)

I’ve always been disabled but I had no idea I was up until maybe late 2022 to early 2023? But my health really started to decline throughout 2023-24 because 11 years of professional level circus training when I shouldn’t have been working out at all finally caught up with my piece of shit body and my symptoms got worse really really fast. And that was really fucking scary, and it’s definitely taken a toll on my mental health too. So, for comfort, I decided to turn to the dca lmao, I remember being incredibly inspired by the song Happy Hare by Yaelokre and that started this whole thing. So, I just put together the vibes I got from that song, a fnaf-esc plot along with the dca and my own struggles with my disabilities and boom! The name game woo!!!

It’s really special to me, I don’t think I would’ve been able to go through the whole medical process as well as I did without it (that’s not to say it hasn’t been a hellhole cause uh yeah healthcare kinda sucks for the disabled (and afab people) but that’s a whole other rant for another day)

Does this count as a love letter to my own fic? Oh well, I just wanted to ramble on about my feelings about it. I’ll probably write more fics after I finish TNG but I think it’ll always hold a special place in my heart <33

And ofc I wanna thank you guys for reading it and giving me so much support :]] I love reading your guys’ comments and tags (AND GOD THE FANART???? NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS DID I EXPECT THAT)

When they were getting bullied, you came to school with them and stared now any little kids who said anything mean to them, scaring them off.

Your brothers were your whole world. You would do anything for them. Scour the whole world to get them anything they need. You were always so protective over them. They were like your own children.

You were snapped out of your thoughts by your brothers screaming your name. Panic runs through your veins as you run to their room. Harshly flipping on the light. “WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED?!” You yell. “Y/n.. we had a nightmare.” Bill says with teary eyes and a frown on his face.

You breath out and walk over to their bed. “Aw, guys..what happened?” You ask looking at them with a comforting smile. “We had a nightmare that…that you..died” tom said, his voice cracking at the end as tears run down his face. “Oh tommy, it’s okay hun.” You say as you climb into their bed

You lay down in the middle of both of them. Grabbing they both and pulling them twards you. They both cuddle up to your side as they sniff. You whisper comforting words to them. “It’s okay, I’m here.” “It was just a bad dream, it’s okay.”

You rub both of there backs and hair as there eyes clear up. Their sniffling stops as they lean into your comforting touch. “T-thank you y/n, I feel better.” Tom says, closing his eyes and smiling.

“Yeah thanks sissy… I love you” bill says snuggling into your side more as you giggle. “I love you to guys..go to sleep now, I’ll stay with y’all.” You say as you kiss their heads. Your eyes also drooping with sleep.

You soon hear soft snores from the boys as they sleep peacefully in your arms. After knowing their safe and calm. You soon fall asleep as you embrace your sweet brothers.

That is understandable. I personally enjoy a bit of Tarnma but I also have not read anything including Tarn or Pharma yet so I do not have an educated say in this situation. I just think they’re silly.

This one might be controversial but…Blitzbee. LIKE I CAN’T WITH THEM I’M SORRY. (TFA specifically btw). I already talked about this in a previous post but OH BOY.

Like it’s just the way Bumblebee is portrayed as a kid in his mid teens…and then there’s Blitzwing who’s like a war general type deal whatever…YIIKES I can’t do it.

I know they’re liek alien robots and they’re both probably thousands or millions of years old but…it’s the portrayal that gets to me. My brain don’t like it. I think I have a screenshot about it from TFwiki as well.

As for Rook not liking to be touched, (ignoring my bias that I’m going to address in a minute) it’s more of a Rook thing: she prefers to do “the hunting” and pinning someone down completely is like her instinct. If asked though, she would just say that it would get her too aroused and her heart wouldn’t be able to handle it. Maybe there is some truth to that statement, but… Vil is absolutely allowed to touch her much more than anyone else would, and she mostly does it when she wants to see Rook worked up and agitated. Vil says that it’s like teasing a feral dog that likes the pets but also doesn’t.

As for the rest of the ladies, I kind of talked about this here in the last reply. We are biased towards bottom!girlies receiving all the attention, and this for sure affects how we see top!girlies’ preferences lol But I think not all of them are as much of touch-me-nots as Rook: Rook isn’t even the worst one out of them. Azul is one of the biggest ones; she hates being touched unless she is the one demanding that, and sometimes it gets ridiculous with her. But Ace, Jack or Kalim are not as bad, and Floyd flip-flops as usual. But none of them would let the bottom!girls take the lead completely.

“So how did it all begin?” A man in a dark suit looms over the metal table, his words echoing off the brick walls and two-way mirror as he adjusts the large camera.

A more timid man sweats under his stare, looking into the camera’s lens awkwardly. “Well, it was the day of my promotion,”

“You’re going to kill this interview,” the brunet mumbles to himself, fixing his tie for the third time. “You’re going to do great and get promoted. Then you’ll finally be a detective.”

He huffs as his tie becomes undone, reaching for one of his clip-ons instead before putting it back down. “You have plenty of time Namjoon, you can correctly fix your tie. A real detective wears real ties.”

He stares in the mirror, continuing to prepare himself. “I’m going to ace this interview. They’re going to like me, I’m going to be likable. Calm, put together, and ambitious—but not too ambitious, I’m going to be grateful for the opportunity. I’m going to get the position, and make mom and dad proud.”

“At least, I thought it was a promotion,” Namjoon almost sulks, arms crossing at the memory. 

“This isn’t a promotion interview, Officer Kim. You’re being transferred to the Supernatural Investigation Unit,” Chief Yoon sighs, leaning forward. “I’m sorry to have misled you.”

“The Supernatural Investigation Unit?” The suited man repeats, leaning toward Namjoon.

“Yeah, everyone called it the X-Files though, like the show.”

“Continue.”

“The thing is, we don’t really have the budget to keep the X-files up, but we don’t have enough to take them down either. I need you to debunk the work going on in there, so we can submit a legit request to get the unit removed.” Mr. Yoon’s voice rumbles out, the crinkles by his eyes appearing as he looks at Namjoon with a serious look. “Listen, if you get our evidence, and I’ll get you a promotion, deal?”

“Obviously I wanted the promotion, so I agreed.”

“Is that the only reason you were chosen to fulfill this job?” the interviewer asks, the same monotone voice filling the room.

“I wish, but it was because of my past,” Namjoon sighs, “I used to be really into ghosts. I wrote reports on it, took video evidence, documented everything so that I could find proof about them. Back then, I also had a YouTube channel with my friend–we were pretty popular at the time. Anyway, I ended up writing a book on it before deciding to leave it all behind to become a serious detective.”

“And are you a detective now?”

“No, look at me,” he gestures to the modified hazmat suit draped across his figure. “How many detectives do you know that wear ghost gear and thermal goggles?”

The interviewer looks at him, unamused and urgent for him to continue his retelling.

“I look up our old stuff and see that new copies of my book are for sale, and that the channel is still up and running–both with my name still on them. So I decided to track down my friend and have a chat with him.”

“Yah! I’m getting the door, stop nagging at me!” Namjoon taps his foot impatiently, hearing the all too familiar voice approach the door. “How can I help–Namjoon? What are you doing here?”

“Hey Jin, I was hoping I could talk to you about the book and the old channel.”

The older man nods his head in recognition, opening the door to allow the taller male in. “Have you seen how well they’re doing? The book is selling pretty well and the channel is blowing up pretty quickly these days,” he says, too enthusiastic for Namjoon’s liking.

“That’s actually my problem,” Namjoon starts, dodging all the odd equipment and supplies scattered around Seokjin’s floor. “I’m sorry, what is going on here?”

Seokjin motions for Namjoon to follow, walking into the nearest door to the left. Upon entering, the cop is met with a makeshift lab filled with beakers, random devices, steam, and many other chemicals Namjoon can’t imagine to be safe. Not to mention one slightly tidier corner of the room with a camera facing a small desk, a corkboard up behind him. Namjoon immediately recognizes the set-up. “This is where we’ve been operating from recently.”

“We?”

“Oh, right. I have a new partner, give me one second,” Jin sticks his head out of the room, inhaling a large breath and bellowing, “Taehyung!”

“Stop yelling!” A younger guy grunts as he enters the messy room.

Seokjin grins, “This is Taehyung, mechanical genius, and my partner.” Taehyung gives a small smile and wave, removing Jin’s arm from his shoulder with a shrug. “Back on track though, what’s going on, why are you here?”

“I need you to erase me from those videos–take them down, even. If you really need to keep them, private them. The book too, I want my name off of it. They’re ruining my life, they’re–”

“Haunting you?”

“Really?” Namjoon groans, a dour expression on his face at the attempt to joke. 

“We argued for a bit, and he refused and pried until he found out about my transfer. That didn’t make anything better for me.”

“How so?”

“Instead of understanding where I was coming from, he just kept telling me how ‘this was my chance to live my dream’.” He deflates a bit. “When we were kids, everyone made fun of us for being the ‘ghost kids’. Even our teachers, parents, and everyone thought we were crazy. I remember my mom telling me how she wanted me to be normal so bad.”

“I take it you come from a not-very-accepting neighborhood?”

“Not at all. Those people didn’t like anything abnormal in the slightest. You should have seen how happy everyone was when we left for college,” Namjoon laughs dryly. “It was really messed up for some dorks like us growing up.”

Namjoon straightens himself in the uncomfortable metal chair. “We both wound up going to college together, I took criminology, profiling, and forensics. He took a medical path, with a few courses in human behavior and psych, I think. We were in a robotics club in high school and took engineering for a bit before dropping the class.”

“During college, we still made our videos and stuff. We made the book then too, 300 pages of paranormal bullcrap we put together over a few years. Because of our educations, we considered ourselves to be a pretty credible source for the paranormal.”

“Why did you stop?”

“I got tired of being seen as a joke. I wanted to be important,” his face is void of any emotion as he recalls the day he told Seokjin he would be leaving for the police academy and packed up his things. “So, I joined the police force. I did a few years as a mall cop, then started getting assigned more important cases and assignments slowly. Then one day, I was getting ready to be Scully to somebody’s Mulder.”

Fame D.R. First Shift!

Hey y'all!!! Recently I've been seeing a lot of posts about living in the end or living as if you already have what it is that you want. Obviously what I want is to shift so I thought it'd be fun if a wrote out how my first shift wake up would go. So let's all just pretend for a second that I've shifted (OMG!!! CONGRATS BUGGIE!!!! THANK YOU BESTIES!!!! <333 :*)

So this is how my first shift to my Fame D.R. went:

[The day after my two weeks ended and I was officially unemployed, October 1, 2001. I woke up when I felt the bed dip next to me. I kept my eyes closed and didn't move. I felt someone lightly rub my back and gently say]

Gee: Good morning, Bug. Me and Mikey have to go run some errands, afterwards we're gonna pick up Ray, then we'll all come pick you guys up. Then we'll head to the party, ok?

[He looked at me and waited for me to open my eyes.]

Buggie: Yeah, sure 

[I say as I flipped over trying hide the fact that I was freaking out.]

Gee: C’mon Bug, wakey wakey

Buggie: I’m awake

Gee: Prove it

[Finally I opened my eyes and saw Gee smiling down at me, I sat up.]

Buggie: Errands, pick up Ray, then me and Abbi, got it. What time should we be ready by?

Gee: Well we want to be there by eight ish, it's (checks watch) 10:00 so probably 7:00? Gives us enough to finish errands and eat something, sound ok? 

Buggie: Perfect

Gee: Oh, and eat something will you? Real food, not just a Coke. Abbi's cookin', we woulda stuck around and ate with ya, but we’re late

[I nodded my head and held out my arms (a bitch needed a hug fight me)]

Gee: Everything ok?

Buggie: [I nodded my head] Uh huh, I just had a bad dream, would you get Mikey before you guys leave? 

Gee: Sure, I’ll go get him

[I held on for a second, after I let go he stands. A few minutes later Mikey appeared in the doorway.]

Mikey: Hey kid, heard you had a bad dream

[He sits on the bed]

Buggie: Yeah, I just wanted to say bye

[I hugged him, he rubbed my back lightly to comfort me]

Mikey: Wanna talk about it?

Buggie: I’m ok, I don’t wanna make y’all more late

Mikey: Eh, what’s a few more minutes?

Buggie: Really it was nothing, I don’t even really remember it anymore 

Mikey: Ok, but if you need anything just call

Buggie: I will, I’ll see ya later

Mikey: See ya later, kid

The second that door closed I fully freaked out, questioning if this was real, doing reality checks, looking around, grabbing things, you know trying to make sure I was grounded. I was trying to contain my excitement and keep quiet cuz I didn't want to alarm anyone lol. After I somewhat composed myself I ran to my phone to check out my lifa app (yes that's something I kept from old shiftok lol) I explored it a bit, until I was calm, then I decided to go to the kitchen and have breakfast with Abbi.

Just a lil reminder this was me living in the end! I don't want y'all to think I'm lying or anything I just thought this would be fun and helpful for my journey :)

[16] What do you struggle with most when writing?

I mostly struggle with forming sentences. Like— finding the words and piecing them together so they flow smoothly. It’s always been an issue with me, lmao. I feel as if my writing can be very snappy and straight-forward, so I’m trying to improve my flow of sentences to make it more enjoyable to read.

[21] What stops you from writing more in your free time?

It’s mostly just motivation. I tend to have the habit of saying “I’ll do this today” and then completely avoid doing it LMAO. I just need motivation and inspiration

[22] What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t started yet?

I’d love to write for the TF2 fandom sometime. I’ve got a speeding bullet post-comic 7 fic set in mind. I don’t want to spoil it for you if you’re in the TF2 fandom but haven’t read comic 7– but yeah, I’m desperate to start writing it but I’ve got other projects I want to work on too so, SOON. I’ll write a TF2 fic soon! 🙏

[32] A character you enjoy making suffer.

I find it funny because he’s the character most people tend to give a hard time for, but it’s Nick. It’s not about having enjoyment in his suffering, but more of how his story works for the fic— how it can develop and give more background to him than what we’re canonically provided. Think he’s such an interesting character with so much potential.

As much as we talk about OC’s age, I find her incredibly smart and witty. There’s some immature things that she does, but with life experience, she will get there. I also LOVE how she is capable of loving someone with so much heart and very little restriction. As we get older, it’s harder to love someone this freely with a damaged past, which unfortunately for JK, is his current position. She’s definitely “soft” for Guk but who wouldn’t be? See what I did there Tessa girl ?

Summer was a little boring at first, I’ve actually been sort of putting off college applications even though I’ve really really gotta get to them honestly, essays and everything? Yeah

But I’ve gone to a few movies, and hung out once or twice with friends. I’ve taken up the habit of walking a little to the nearby Starbucks or Walmart and just chilling out for a bit, calm down, breathe, etc.

Agh, there’s a guy I know who’s really nice, really good at crafts, really good with advice tbh, and really great overall. There’s this ever existing feeling of being a teenage girl and liking someone that makes me feel absolutely ridiculous and trivial constantly, every giggle and smile feels scoffed at, and every longing thought makes me feel like a circus act.

It’s wild.

But other than that I’m going to debate camp which is fun :))

Next year is bound to be interesting, I’m hoping to go to New York!!!!! Which will be nice, I’m a little concerned about the logistics of it so I can make sure it works out

Synopsis: Going from rivals to lovers with Diluc Ragnvindr.

Notes: Prolly ooc? Not proofread. Diluc my beloved. I started running out of ideas after the seventh sentence. Fun fact Diluc was my first Genshin main. Omg me posting early for once. Dude this took me like two days to write :sobs: I wasn’t sure if you wanted a fic or a headcanon so I went with a headcanon. THANK YOU FOR REQUESTING <<3333

I believe your rivalry with Diluc started when you guys were children. You made an offhanded comment about the Knights of Favonius – and thus your rivalry formed. 

Well, more like the comment made you two have a falling out which then formed the tension between you guys which then spiraled into a ‘rivalry’.

I say rivalry tentatively seeing how it formed by you two being children who had strong beliefs and were not willing to hear or understand the other party’s side.

Honestly the whole falling out was really stupid. You just thought (and still think) that the Knights of Favonius were extremely shady and most of them couldn’t get anything done, which angered little Diluc seeing how he looked up to his father and wanted to meet his father’s expectation of becoming a knight. 

Throughout the years you saw Diluc but you never really talked to him for fear of starting another argument. The only reason you saw him is that you were somewhat close to Kaeya, but even then when Kaeya and Diluc had a decent relationship the interactions you had with Diluc were extremely…awkward.

The ‘rivalry’ ended around the time of Diluc’s Eighteenth Birthday. There are three main reasons for this.

One. After Diluc’s father passed away, the “relationship”  you two barely maintained was almost nonexistent at that point. Diluc locked himself away from everyone while you decided it would be best to limit your interactions between both Diluc and Kaeya seeing how they just lost their father/father figure.

Two. Diluc focused more on his rivalry with Kaeya. Seeing how Kaeya had revealed all his lies and they had a huge argument over it; Diluc focused more on that than the comment you made several years ago. 

Three. He finally understood why you thought about the Knights of Favonius that way. 

I believe you guys started talking more after he came back from Snezhnaya. 

You went to Angel Share’s to get a drink around closing time for whatever reason and you saw him cleaning a glass when you entered. You guys proceeded to have a staring contest after that. 

“Diluc, when did you get back?” “I got back a few days ago [Name].” “I see…Where did you go?” “Snezhnaya.”

He made you a drink based on his recommendation and you guys just caught up. 

You guys hung out a lot more after that. Just you showing up at Angel Share and you guys just talking about basic life stuff. You might even take night shifts there just to hang out more.

I also think Diluc would try to go places with you. Like if you had a commission and other errands to do – it just gives him more of an excuse to be around you.

This ties in with his love language being quality time. (Plus physical affection. He’s not very big on PDA though.)

He’d definitely catch feelings first and confess first.

Diluc strikes me as the type of guy who would try to gaslight himself out of being in love and then feel bad about it. 

The way he asked you out was really sweet and simple, but he was super embarrassed 

“[Name] are you free this evening?” Diluc asks, diverting his eyes away from yours. “Yeah, I am. What”s up?” “Great, it’s a date – I’ll meet you at your place this evening.” 

You didn’t have time to respond seeing how he left immediately after that. It’s not like you would have refused, you just found the whole thing a little funny.

You guys had dinner and went on a little walk around Mondstadt before it was time for him to enter Batman Darknight Hero mode. 

You guys had a few more dates before you became ‘official’. 

On the date he asked you to be his significant other he told you how he’s banned from entering Snezhnaya.

“Diluc, you’ve been to Snezhnaya before, right? Perhaps one day we can go together – I heard there are a lot of fun things to do there…” You said looking at your feet. “[Name] I’m banned from entering Snezhnaya…” You look Diluc dead in the eyes “Excuse me, what?” “...[Name] how do you feel about being my significant other?”

Honestly, it took him longer than he would like to ask you to be his S/O; but this wasn’t too much of an issue seeing how he asked you on all your dates with the intention of being partners in the future (and seeing how you said yes intending to be partners in the future). He never answered your question though, but you had a feeling his ban had something to do with his hatred for the Fatui.

Overall Diluc is a soft lover. He loves spending time with you and he is quite upset that you guys had a rough relationship as children seeing how he would have been able to be with you sooner if that wasn’t the cause. Diluc is a 10/10 partner – please spend time with him because he adores being around you.

Ok before I started writing this i read your stuff on Pharos and his listeners so let me just *violent sobbing*

so I’ll start with a few of my main listeners/listeners that are actually OCs! Pharos og listener was an old one who I don’t really use anymore but I remember they were very chill and their kingdom was built in the trees! I’ve actually done a bit of topography and map making for Hollows world but basically I figured the forests in the east part(where the elves and stuff are) are super sized and are as thick as whole houses.

The second listener is part of a family of listeners who I basically made wanders or people who move around and meet multiple people during their life, they’re name is Brie and they’re the listener to Pharos and the Elf twins timeline wise elf twins came first for me :)

But for one of my older listeners I have Salem who lemme just say, I fucking LOVE this guy and he’s pretty much my all time fav oc<3333 to sum up the actual OC they’re kinda like a golem made with a purpose to regulate the earths magma and since they’re one of the older ones they have the chance to break off a bit of it’s own body to make a little human shaped thing which is called Salem! Salem eventually decided to wander around and start a family and he was really happy, til they got separated by a curse. Basically for the majority of stories from hollow it’s Salem trying to find their family but getting caught up in things like August and Fendel.(which kinda sucks because their memory is broken and they’re forgetting their family every year they don’t get back so yeah fuck you curse)

It’s more of them trying to remember their kids while trying to make sure these human children don’t fuck yo the world. He’s a parent he’s going to act like one :}

Back to the Apocalypse theory!

This is one of my favorite series even with it being pretty old and only 3 parts because it just scratches the itch I love in fiction of humans being the weird ones in a new race!

If you need a refresher on the apocalypse series, it’s about the listener —who is human— where they woke up in a basement to be discovered by a bunny boy named Riji. He and others live in a radioactive post apocalyptic world where humans have all died out for ~~mysterious reasons~~ and left dangerous artifacts like Geiger counters and the dangerous ~boom box~.

Listener lost a lot of their memories and now tries to learn about the world and what happened to the ancients while making friends!

It’s really short so I’ve had the liberty to think on it alot more than other series so I’ll be doing that now!

From what is really easy to guess, humans eliminated themselves with nuclear/atomic warfare, leaving places stuck in time in permanent destruction, the land riddled with radioactive waste, and people mutated and likely other things as well.

I figured that at the tail end of humanity we got too big for our britches and blew ourselves up with bombs from war but I have little bit more history on humanity before that.

I theorized that humanity was pretty advanced, or atleast from our perspective in current era 2022. I figured there was advancements in space travel and other such future stuff but still with the old “I like war fuck you” mentality in the higher ups.

So a fucked up dystopia wrapped up in a faux solar punk ribbon! So that leads us to the listener who’ve I’ve named Dr. Genesis, who back in the days of humanity they were a geneticist working for a high end company who was building things for CRISPR and other gene editing tech.

They lived in a city that was meant to be floating almost, above the ground connected to mountains and other such structures.

Within earth war was between rivaling companies who wanted newly acquired resources and spots in terraforming projects like the moon and Venus. Yada yada a very angry company messed up BIG time and had a giant malfunction on a grand scale destroying a lot of nuclear plants and sources of power for much of the provinces in the Americans and south Asian islands.

Yada yada full scale war and atomic bombs are detonated not before the high society of rich elites fly off to their colonized/terraformed moons and planets leaving the majority of humanity to realize they are stuck and dead on a soon to be blown up planet! Chaos for a few hours, people trying to get home and instead of going home Dr. Genesis the listener decided to go in with their team to be part of the last attempt at saving humanity, sorta.

It’s a backwater project almost like a doomsday prepped decided to do it but basically around 30~~ of these scientists got into stasis pods for interstellar travel they kept for maintenance under the floating cities to hopefully ride out the bombs and maybe build humanity. For the listener they lived too far to get to their family in time so they just decided to stay with their coworkers who were like family and indulge in a dream before everyone is gone.

A couple thousand years later, they wake up from stasis under rubble inside of their pod, now completely freezer brained making them lose memories and making them weak and disoriented. I mean, they were broke pods did you think they wouldn’t harm humans a bit in 2k years of use??? So eventually they make their way up to the upper levels of the ruins and meet Riji, story continues through audios!

Kinda open ended for other people but who decided to make it so Dr. Genesis slowly regains their memories, progressively getting angrier and angrier at past humans and trying to atleast help these people that are left with what humans put there. Trying to help teach people about their work, medicines, tech that can be salvaged and maybe even get contact with new humanity. But for the listener they seem to rather want to fix up an old car and move around the sectors helping people as they can and making a small home for themselves, and trying to make sure that what radiation left doesn’t harm people if they can help.

I’ve written a bit about it as an off story but it’s very loose but if I do get around to creating a consistent plot I’d love to actually write something for it (maybe even commission hollow to do a follow up with a script I write but that’s a big fat IF because my writing sorta sucks and I don’t have much money to spend on stuff like that :p)
