“shit, look who it is yeonjun!”

the male in question was much too busy shouldering soobin to the ground, dribbling past his now groaning friend before slam-dunking his favorite orange ball through the hoop to listen to lame, old, beomgyu.

“let’s go!” yeonjun punches the air, running by his teammates to offer them high fives that they halfheartedly return. “another point for the yeonjunniez!”

“horrible fuckin’ team name,” taehyun murmurs, while kai only nods in tired agreement.

before yeonjun could force the group into another scrimmage, a strong hand grips his shoulder, redirecting him to face a barely visible figure that’s only steps away from reaching the basketball court’s end. beomgyu squeezes tighter, shaking him back and forth slightly. “don’t ignore me! you recognise who that is, right man?” squinting his eyes, yeonjun gasps as he takes in the familiar sight of your signature hairstyle and white headphones.

oh, he knew it was you alright. even if it was pitch black out — only street lamps illuminating the shady pathways — and you were clearly wearing all dark shades to blend in more, he knew.

“‘course, what kind of boyfriend would i be if i didn’t know my girl when i see her?”

soobin, who’s still brushing off pebbles after his dramatic fall, rolls his eyes at the straight fibs coming out of his friend’s lips. “she barely knows you exist.”

“not for long.” before anyone could stop him or make him think at the very least, yeonjun has himself pressed against the chained wall of the court, fingers noisily locking through the metal in an attempt to grasp your attention. “y/n, is that you?”

when you swiftly turn at the sound of your name, looking adorably like a deer caught in headlights, yeonjun is reminded of just how head over heels he is.

“yeonjun..?” he’s never been so thankful to mr. sim assigning partners for projects, or else you still wouldn’t know your future boyfriend’s name! you look past him to take in the other boys who send you awkward waves, and yeonjun glares in annoyance at each and every one of them. what shitty wingmen.

“uh, yeah.. so, what’re you doing out here alone?”

with one more glance around the empty park, yeonjun nearly squeals as you begin walking closer, shoving your phone into your hoodie pocket smoothly. “j-just clearing my head i guess. what about you guys?” your stuttering gives him hope that perhaps you’re just as nervous as he is right now — leading a small smirk to etch across the boy’s lips.

“practising extra late since tryouts open soon,” he replies, gesturing to his friend group in the background. “they all kinda suck though.”

“thanks!” beomgyu spits back, but yeonjun could care less about his sarcastic comeback when it resulted in you letting out a soft chuckle. that was him by the way — he made you laugh!

in an attempt to give yeonjun more one on one time with you, the others had attempted to go back to playing (while still eavesdropping of course), but it was clear that their friend needed a little shove in the right direction.

taehyun moves closer, adjusting his black muscle top while offering you a mischievous grin. “say, y/n. if yeonjun here gets a three pointer, would you consider giving him your number?”

besides kai’s howling laughter in the distance, the court is frozen in tension, more specifically yeonjun — who’s jaw has practically dropped to his ass. this was not part of the plan, taehyun! attempting to bandage the wound, the raven haired boy smacks his friend, hoping the expression on your poor, confused face would falter at least a bit.

his ears burn bright red, and he can only pray the hood of his grey coat is deep enough to hide it. “i uh- sorry about that, you don’t— you don’t have to do anything—“

too busy manifesting some way to travel back in time and tape taehyun’s mouth shut, yeonjun fails to notice the amused smile creeping its way to your lips. “no, it’s okay. you can try if you want.”

soobin and beomgyu share a horrified glance, just how is this working?

yeonjun blinks, holding a bewildered yet determined look in his pupils. “i— you mean like, to shoot?” he blabbers in disbelief.

you shrug. “why not?” and before he knows it, the ball is forced into his grip by a snickering soobin, who attempts to relieve his friend’s shoulders that are tenser than he’s ever seen them with a swift massage.

little did he know that you found it almost as endearing as the way yeonjun’s teeth nibble onto his bottom lip as he gets into position, crouching with precision before jumping, releasing the basketball with a flick of his wrists.

the orange ball flies for a bit before landing right on the hoop’s ring, bouncing across it loudly, spinning around for a bit before—

“shit..” beomgyu murmurs in horror, watching how the ball flops pathetically off the side of the ring along with the other five pairs of eyes.

yeonjun refuses to believe this.

sinking down to his knees, nails frustratingly glide through his bangs while a pained groan leaves his lips. “i didn’t miss a single fucking shot earlier,” he winces, “but of course when it actually matters i fuck up.”

god, he was so cute — it was all you could think to yourself as you paced closer, squatting next to the boy’s destressed form all while lightly patting his shoulder. when yeonjun lifts his head, his eyes widen at the closeness of your face being mere centimetres from his. for a second, he thinks he might just pass out on the spot, up until you pull out a pen from your pocket, grinning cutely as usual.

when you open up your palm, it takes him a minute to realize you were asking for his hand.

ever so carefully, yeonjun places his hand in your grasp, breath stuttering at the feeling of his crush’s fingers wrapping comfortingly around his wrist. “what- what are you..” he gulps when you bend a bit closer to begin scribbling something right across the softness of his pale skin, glancing up at his friend’s with a face of utter disbelief who only give him an equally gobsmacked look in return.

suddenly, you’re releasing him and standing back to full height, pen being shoved casually into the embrace of your black hoodie as if you hadn’t just narrowly avoided giving the poor boy a heart attack moments prior. “yeonjun, i was gonna give it to you either way,” you snort.

wait, what? did he just go through the five stages of grief for nothing?

all he can do is watch with eyes gaped as you slowly march back towards the entrance, only snapping out of it when beomgyu pulls his arm up to investigate the nine numbers inked across his hand. “bro.. you did it.” he states it as if yeonjun had just solved world hunger, shaking his friend frantically.

“i.. i did it?” he repeats dumbly.

it seems as though he can’t get a break; now soobin’s the one pushing him towards the entrance. “go on, dipshit!” he exclaims, “it’s pitch black out there, walk her home!”

this has yeonjun’s expression changing from dumbstruck to full on panic, nearly tripping on his own shoelaces as he sprints out to catch up to your now-far-away form, grey hood falling off and finally revealing his bright red ears in the process.

there was no doubt that he looked insane — lighting or not. “she has him wrapped around her finger, huh?” kai can’t help but cackle once more.

soobin takes a shot, easily making a dunk with the help of his height before sighing in agreement. “oh, absolutely.”

I have seen a bunch of legacy challenges recently and while I love the ideas in them many seen to require packs and/or have an extreme number of things to do that can be overwhelming for newer players. So I made a base game legacy - these do exist already. I believe this should be doable for newer players and anything that might lead to confusion can be easily googled for guidance.

Sims 4 legacy challenge basegame

General Rules

Can enter cas to add tattoos and change sims outfits/hairstyles as they age up

All money must be earned in game no cheats unless cheating away money

Must randomise infant and toddler traits 

Can use MC to determine amount/gender of children otherwise no cheating

Any sim who marries into the households money is up for grabs 

All children must have either top notch toddler or top notch infant trait

Once parents are elders the heir may take over the legacy or player can wait for them to die

All heir graves/urns must remain on the home lot 

At least 3 things must be passed on from generation to generation 

Any lifespan allowed I’d recommend normal when children are in play

Can change lifespan at anytime e.g if you’ve completed all goals and are waiting for parents to die etc

Gen 1 

Newlyweds are excited to start their family but first they must prepare, they need a home with a self-sustaining garden and as much home made furniture as possible.

Start with a couple 

Assign domestic aspiration and Freelance botanist aspiration

Live in willow creek 

Join a career that matches at least 1 aspiration e.g gardener, conservation etc

Must complete aspiration and reach lvl 10 in careers

Master 3 skills to lvl 10

No limit on children or money (however all money must be earned)

Children must be born while at least 1 parent is a young adult

All children must complete 1 aspiration and 1 after school activity (can complete more)

Heir must complete 2 aspirations and 1 after school activity 

Heir must have creative trait

Complete any in game collection

Have a garden that makes $400 when harvested and sold - must have a variety of plants (at least 1 veg 1 herb 1 fruit 1 flower)

Gen 2

Gen 1 heir is excited to meet the love of their lives and bring them to their secret glade. They wish to have a large family and become a successful painter and loving partner.

Gen 1 Heir must go on date to sylvan glade 

Get married

Complete painter extraordinaire aspiration

Have 2 masterpiece paintings in each room of the house 

House must have a bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Kitchen, living room, study

Have 3 toddlers at the same time (don’t have to be infants at the same time)

All children must complete 2 aspirations

Heir must complete 3 aspirations 

1 career of players choice to lvl 5 followed by artist career to lvl 10

Partner can keep career they had, remain jobless or join a career of players choice

All children stay in the home until they are young adults or their parents die

Heir must have romantic trait

Heir must have serial romantic aspiration

Gen 3

Gen 2 heir enjoyed seeing her parents loving relationship and intends to be in as many loving relationships as she can 

Complete serial romantic aspiration

Never marry

Have children with different sims (at least 2)

All children must max their childhood skills and complete 1 aspiration

Pick any career but remember it has to support at least 3 people

Don't have your parent be overly involved in the children's lives

Visit all community lots in the base game and take a photo while there

Heir must have kleptomaniac trait

Heir must have public enemy aspiration  

Die in front of children as soon as goals complete 

Children move out once death is witnessed 

Heir moves to a new lot to escape their childhood trauma 

Gen 4

Gen 3 heir traumatised by their parents behaviour has moved out keeping only the family heirlooms. Due to their lonely childhood this sim has decided to take it out on the rest of the world and become a master criminal.

Reach lvl 10 of criminal career

Settle down with another sim who must have either a deviance aspiration or other ‘bad’ trait e.g evil 

No limit on children

Involved in children's lives - mentor a child in any skill

Children must complete either 2 aspirations or 1 aspiration and an after school activity 

Bring all children separately to each library and park in the game and complete an activity with them while there

Children can move out when teens except heir 

Heir must have the ambitious trait

Heir must have a fortune aspiration

Heir must stay until the gen 3 heir dies - they can then kick out the partner unless already dead and take over

Gen 5

After being raised by criminals the Gen 4 heir is ready to make something good of themselves. They’ve taken over the family home and intended to renovate the evil out of it. Gen 4 is determined to prove the good path can bring just as much fortune as the bad.

Complete both fortune aspirations

Achieve lvl 10 in any career - pick one that pays well

Master charisma, comedy, piano and violin skills

Have a partner - can get married but not a requirement

For your love interest to qualify as a partner you must go on 5 dates 3 must earn silver

If you marry/join the household your partner must also achieve lvl 10 in their career

Have 5 children 

All children must achieve 1 aspiration and join but not complete an afterschool activity

All children must get jobs to contribute to household once teenagers

All children except heir must move out when they are young adults

Heir must have music lover trait

Heir must have musical genius aspiration

Heir inherits home upon gen 4 heirs death

Gen 6

Gen 5 heir grew up listening to their parent play rich people instruments, they now have a great love of music and upon inheriting the family home intends to transform it into a place of music.

Master guitar, piano and violin skills

Complete musical genius aspiration

Reach lvl 10 musician career

Play an instrument at all the community lots

Have twins or triplets - can purchase traits, use cheats, apply lot traits to achieve this

Renovate house, include a music studio and lots of outdoor space

Each twin must have their own room and during their childhood years a separate shared playroom

Twin 1 must complete creative and social aspiration

Twin 2 is your heir must complete motor and mental aspiration

Heir must have genius trait

Heir must have nerd brain aspiration

Die and become a ghost - can be done anytime once goals achieved

Heir takes over once ghost, ghost can remain part of family or just haunt the lot

Gen 7

Gen 6 heir has decided to take advantage of the family's wealth and become a rocket scientist in the backyard. They just want to relax and explore their passions before having a family.

Complete nerd brain aspiration

Master rocket science and handiness skills

Have a library in the family home

Only ever do odd jobs

Backyard should resemble mission control - rocket, woodworking shed with state of the art office inside

Have 1 child 

Child must achieve all aspirations and 1 after school activity

Complete space collection (alien collection+space rock collection)

Have sim woohoo in rocket

Heir must have family oriented trait

Heir must have big happy family aspiration

Keep heir living with gen 6 once gen 6 has completed their goals, when gen 6 dies or becomes boring move onto gen 7 heir

Gen 8

Gen 7 heir grew up an only child but intends to have several children of their own. It doesn't matter to them how they have them, only that they have several children to provide her with at least 4 grandchildren to spoil.

Complete all but grandchild part of big happy family aspiration

Complete a career up to lvl 8

Have 3+ children 

Master gardening and cooking skill

Have successful children - all must achieve A in school

All children must complete at least 2 aspirations

All children must max their skills

I have a very general ask to rattle off before I leave the house!! I've been revolving the idea of sending this in my mind for a few days, but I think that last post you reblogged is a sign that I should just do it XD Because it kind of relates to my questions... sorry if it seems disjointed, I'm sort of rushing to get it out of my system ^^

When you imagine anything with your F/Os, is it you you that you're picturing? Or like. An idealized version of yourself? Is anything about her different or is she just straight up *you*? I've had this image in my head for so long of someone who thinks like me, but looks and acts quite different - almost like an OC. I think I'm getting a bit better about this though, I've been working on making my Sim self and it's helping 😅😅

From looking through this blog, it seems like you usually imagine your F/Os with you in the real world? Do you ever imagine yourself in their universe? For me I almost always imagine myself as a character in their universe!

I'm still warming up to the idea of F/Os... but for as a long as I can remember I've had daydream scenarios with soooo many different characters over the years. But I always just considered them maladaptive daydream scenarios 🙈🙈🙈 I LOVE the enthusiasm you have for your F/Os, though!! <3

As for me: First of all I think with F/O stuff you can - of course, - be whatever the hell you wanna be!! If thats an idealised or just, plain, fictional version of yourself- ball!! ^^ For me I generally just imagine myself. Though, admittedly, a slightly more confident, and open version of myself XD

As for the w o r l d, I usually imagine- it depends on the day XD Here are the various worlds I imagine myself in with them XD I put them under the cut cuz it partly answers the question and its also just me waffling about my various ongoing fantasies 😅

All of them: Some weird in-between world set in London with Cruella. Somehow the other 3 live there too now in this one 😅

All of them: Variant of same in-between world except I live in Maine with Jim because I l o v e the idea of living near a lake or in the bush/woods or something- I swear, if I could live out in the sticks I'd never be anxious ^^ Usually in this one, Otis lives in the basement XD

All of them: Different variant of same in-between world except I just live in Aus this time and am upholding 4 different long distance relationships 🤣 XD

Jim: The Lake Placid universe. Yes, I imagine myself in the universe! ^^ I'm not a character in the story, though, I generally imagine I'm cursed or the multiverse glitched or something and I ended up dropped in the last fictional universe I watched on TV XD So I'm just there, knowing e x a c t l y what happens and when in this story but keeping my mouth sealed s h u t about it (*cough* while shooting my shot with Jim) XD

Jim (Variant): At the moment I'm playing with a variant of this one where a version of me does already exist in the Lake Placid universe when I get there- and she's a... shall we say... adult movie star XD 🤣 Its fun!

Otis: The H1000C universe. Same as the Lake Placid one above. I end up in this universe at Spaulding's petrol station with a friend from the real world (Who either knows the story or doesn't- both can be equally fun cuz I'm either freaking out with them or freaking out for the both of us XD) and get wrapped up in the story with the main victims while trying to get the hell out before Otis sees me cuz n o I don't wanna get m u r d e r e d thank you very much-

Any of them: Switcheroo. They get dumped in t h i s (o u r) universe/timeline. And I have to keep them hidden so no one recognises them as their actor in public.

Any of them: Switcheroo Variant. We both end up in a separate universe and have to work together to get the hell out. Catch? This universe already has a version of them (A different character by the same actor. For example if the focus F/O is Jim it could be the ANOES universe. Or if the focus F/O is Otis, it could be Texas Chainsaw Massacre! XD) and possibly a different version of me as well and we have to avoid meeting/making eye contact with these other versions in order to avoid a fault in the space time continuum or whatever 😅 (And also avoid other problems that might come along with meeting characters like Freddy Krueger or Inkubus or Chop Top Sawyer🙃)

So yes... I do like to use the real me in my F/O fantasies (feels more personal for me ^^) but its not always the real world XD Its not always their fictional world. A lot of the time its just random 😅 Its completely up to you individually what you do with your daydreaming! ^^ It is s o so individual and self indulgent.

jenna’s (mostly aesthetic) crush is on the IT girl at their small high school/metro (do they even have a working one? probably not) area, chloe mathilders.

here’s a sim of her LMAO she’s black also :3

jenna, chloe and carlos have all known of each other since elementary school, but they ran in different circles. while jenna was wandering off of school grounds during recess, dragging carlos after her, chloe was in the classroom playing with dolls and socializing with the other kids. middle school hit and chloe became athletic and tried almost every sport and jenna would be wandering the separate field with carlos identifying trees and magical creatures that lurked in the bushes. other kids ostracized jenna because she is So Visibly Autistic that it’s impossible to hide, but chloe never really engaged. she didn’t necessarily stick her neck out but she just didn’t pay attention to jenna and carlos or go out of her way to be cruel to them.

jenna’s (aesthetic) crush on chloe probably started when they were around like 5-6th grade and this is around the same time that jenna got into burlesque and pinup models. for those that don’t know that’s jenna’s Huge special interest, especially if they’re 20s themed or closer to the og style and a prominent feature in many models is obviously the beauty mark. jenna’s crush truly developed because she saw that chloe had a beauty mark, associated it with her special interest, and has been kind of quietly admiring her for years. it’s not your traditional kind of crush because jenna isn’t like In Love with chloe; she doesn’t go out of her way to learn about her or what she does, or who she spends time with. nor does she try to get noticed by her at all. she just likes looking at her LMAO.

so for a very long while up until high school there was just nothing. no relationship no dynamic, just a person you’ve known your whole life via proximity but never any deeper than oh you exist. and then chloe ends up needing their help with a supernatural Incident involving her mother (i still have to figure out what exactly the issue is).

MIND YOU: no one in this wip knows about magic sans for the mcs and whatnot so magic existing at ALL is news to chloe. sure, she heard jenna talk all the time about how her moms were witches and shit like that (bc jenna is incapable of lying) but like everyone else she just thought jenna was weird — she didn’t think it warranted jenna being picked on BUT she did just think she was odd. so magic existing? crazy. she doesn’t know who to go to, cuz her popular friends would no way in HELL believe her if she said that some magic bs happened. so she ends up going to jenna and carlos.

carlos, is immediately suspicious of her intentions (bc he protecc) but jenna as always is pretty happy to help her. even probably says something so straightforward like “well, carlito, we have to help her. i mean, how often does your crush come up to you and ask for help?” and chloe is very HUH?????? but to be fair so so much of chloe in this story is her being like this is fucking insane and carlos is like yeah welcome to the club.

chloe ends up gaining a respect for carlos and jenna and ends up getting surprisingly close to the two of them. but it doesn’t mean she gives up or shuns her friends, though she is more vocal about people leaving jenna and carlos alone.

in terms of endgame, they’re not, never become an official couple. chloe is straight, and jenna having being autistic and ace as modifiers for being a mspec lesbian makes her not really like apt to pursue a traditional romantic relationship. she, chloe and carlos do get very close. (i can see chloe confiding in carlos and saying honeslty sometimes i wish i could be into girls and be in this world of y’all’s. i just don’t know if i’m cut out for it and carlos gives good advice etc etc). but i mean, even at the end of the day, jenna’s eventually gonna become a virtually immortal witch and immortalizes carlos as her familiar so even if she and chloe were a thing chloe would end up dying unfortunately (in the long run).

N E WAY tho, real end game is carlos and jenna lmaooo.

Get to Know Me - Sims Edition

If it seems like a lot of text, don't force yourself to read it, you can simply ignore it. Sometimes I write too much, I know.

1.- What’s your favorite sims death? Sims eaten by cowplants, although there is an anecdote from when I was little that is very funny because I had a little "trauma" with that death. When I first played The Sims Take the Street on PS2 (the first sims game I played for the first time in my life) together with Lea, we made sims from Fushigi Yugi and we put them to live in a house… They all ended up being eaten by mutant plant (a plant similar to cowplant in that time), being the last one Amiboshi just after his twin brother Suboshi… It was one of our first games so adding a mutant plant was like, "What is this? Let's put it in, it sounds fun" and it ended up being a bit of a shock since at that time we had no internet, no guides or anything and everything was new, from that time for me at the end, after that experience it's ended up being fun, so being eaten by a (cow)plant it's one of my favorites sims death.

2.- Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis Mix, I absolutly like more Maxis Match for hair, but with clothes I usually use both Maxis Match and/or Alpha, same with makeup or skin details, so yes, I'm consider myself Maxis Mix more towards Maxis Match.

3.- Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Why? When it comes to my/our OCs (Lea's and mine) we leave them as they wish to be, because they've gained or lost it by themselves because they have so wished, in fact one of our OCs, Carla, when gained more weight even became much more beautiful than when she had less weight, at least from our point of view.

4.- Do you use move objects? Yes, quite a lot when I have to place a lot of clutter together or I have to place in a special way the constructions to do what I want and look for.

5.- Favorite mod? I would say MCCC, but there are many times it causes me a headache.

6.- First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Get to Work on realease. (Lea bought it, not me, but he likes to share, I mean it's stupid to buy the same thing twice when in gameplay we play together)

7.- Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? I pronounce "Modo Vivir", but if it's in English then like aLIVE.

8.- Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I have quite a few… They're all my cute babies, Ryuuya, Luka, Aris, Jack, Kyle, Kyla, Noah, Icaro, Carla. Lux, Kaoru, Ainosuke, Rin, Haruka, and many more but the list would go on and on... Sorry I can't choose... (And yeah we have a lot of original sims that we don't show here yet 😆)

9.- Have you made a simself? I did it once, when toddlers came out, I made myself into a toddler for a contest, but I have never done it again, and that simself no longer exists.

10.- What sim traits did you give yourself? With pack Growing Together that came out I can officially add more than three, right? Creative, Socially awkward, Ambitious, Music lover, Geek and Perfectionist. (The limit is 3 more traits, so I can't put Cat fan, Dog fan and Animal enthusiast [although these three should be considered more likes and dislikes, I don't understand how it can still be in traits], so I have them present but didn't add them, because I consider more as likes and dislikes).

11.- What is your favorite EA hair color? Red. I like black, but it changes and varies so much between different hairs and many of them look gray or bluish that they're no longer my favorite.

12.- Favorite EA hair? The two hairs that were added when Incheon Arrivals Kit came out and the hair from Snowy Escape that has two little clips on it.

13.- Favorite life stage? I don't have any favorite life stage, because all life stages are special in one way or another and I try to create sims of all kinds of ages, although maybe the ones I have the most are teenagers/young adults because I usually create a lot of sims based on video games/anime/shows if that makes sense, so people may consider those to be my favorite kind of stages.

14.- Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Let's see, I would consider myself mixed, or versatile. During the day from time to time I would consider myself a builder, especially when I make constructions with references that help me to locate myself (although there are times that I also make them without a base, but it takes me a long time to finish them and I consider myself a noob, Kitta's house, Dope Sketch I look at all of you just now). On the other hand, during the night before going to sleep and after dinner I'm more of a gameplay person and I have a lot of fun playing together with Lea.

15.- Are you a CC creator? Yes, I love to create CAS CC (hair, clothes, shoes, accessories, etc…), construction CC (furniture, clutter, whatever I need depending on the moment), small modifications in the sims, I'm usually very versatile, I do recolors and frankmeshing too although most of the things I love to do are from scratch (with references that aren't mine or concept arts that I draw previously which are usually mine) to learn even more, so I usually take a lot of time but I have a lot of fun. Although around here what I usually share with everyone, are hairs made from scratch, some other skin details, poses and conversions from other games.

16.- Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? Not that I know of. The person I interact with the most around here is Lea but that's because we are family/best friends and spend a lot of time together, so for me it's like day to day. I would love to be able to have a constant energy and mood so I can interact more to make and keep friends around here. I write from time to time with people and would like to consider them friends but since we don't interact much or very constantly, I don't know if they consider me friends or if they would just consider me mutuals. I know of some people that we consider each other friends but we don't talk much either lately because I'm in my stage of writing little with people. But I don't refuse anyone or anyone who wants to interact with me and in the future something might come out of those interactions (friendship or... what's a squad? srsly I don't know it), I'm quite social/asocial and insecure, sometimes I write a lot and sometimes I write very little with people, so I don't know what they currently think of me.

17.- What’s your favorite game? Have a lot, Kingdom Hearts (yes, I went through the time when you needed different consoles to play the whole saga), Final Fantasy series, The Sims series, Life is Strange series, Resident Evil series, Tomb Raider series, Tales of Zestiria, Arc the Lad series, Minecraft, Spyro series, Crash Bandicoot series, Genshin Impact and I'm sure there are many more games that I haven't tried yet that I could add to the list in the future.

18.- Do you have any Sims merch? Nothing.

19.- Do you have a YouTube for sims? I don't have one, but I would love to, although I don't think anyone would be interested. I mean if you share something it's for someone else to see it and if no one would be interested then it would be like exposing yourself to the world but without being seen. I don't know if I make myself clear. I know that stories of your own sims/anything you do in the community have more room for other people when you do it as video, because when you talk they feel more empathetic with your stories/what you explain but my English is not very good and talking in general/talking to my sims is not my forte (that's something Lea is better at)

20.- How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? Pictures speak louder than words. I don't have sims screenshots I took in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 because I can't access the external USB drive were on, so I'll limit myself to The Sims 4 screenshots.

A written summary would be that I currently use more sliders and presets, use 3D eyelashes and natural nails for all my sims and use eye makeup to give more volume to the "eyelashes" and give them more "life". And try to make more different types of noses, faces, eye shapes, etc…. Besides adding natural lips as "make up" (when they don't wear makeup) to make them more "realistic" within my sims realism.

21.- What’s your Origin ID? I don't have anything shared, so I don't know if it's really important to say.

22.- Who’s your favorite CC creator? I have a few and they're the ones I use the most in my gameplays shared with Lea in our sims. They're all amazing so allé voy, @/pralinesims, @/simandy, @/happy-misanthropist (although is currently retired), @/obscurus-sims, @/raccoonium, @/falsogod, @/iowaisms, @/saruin, @/xxxtaiyaki, @/kijiko-sims, @/acha-sims, @/simmireen, @/lea-heartscxiv (yeah is with whom I share my sims game and he makes recolors mainly for me and him) and myself (self-esteem should never be lacking).

23.- How long have you had a simblr? Since last year, end of April 2022.

24.- How do you edit your pictures? So far the only things I use are Photoshop and Clip Studio, but I don't retouch pictures so much, I just "improved" problems with scratches that appear in some parts of sims, eyelashes that are displayed wrong, etc… And then I put one or two tonal change filters in Photoshop, but out of CC I use on sims, it's pretty vanilla the final pictures. If I were to do something else at some point, I would probably put unretouched edit under the cut line to see the differences.

25.- What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? If I had to say one for how the world is shown, CAS, objects and gameplay I would say Snowy Escape.

26.- What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Seriously writing, refreshes. I would like to see refreshes and improvements of base game, an impossible dream, I know. Especially refreshes of Realm of Magic and Get To Work. Since Lea and I were forced to switch to EAAppsh*t we haven't bought anything from them anymore.

i am actually very, very worried for kids today who have grown up on this internet. when i was younger i was watching people play fucking yandere simulator and 60 seconds and the sims. now they’re watching andrew tate say they need ten thousand super cars to be successful in life.

my 11 year old brother (with access to tiktok the dreaded thing) is watching these sigma giga chad males and thinking that is who he should be. he is consuming insane amounts of homophobic, transphobic, racist, islamophobic, anti-semitic, fatphobic and misogynistic media, and openly repeats a majority of it to me. seeing him make highly inappropriate jokes not only for his age but in general is not cool or entertaining, as he thinks they are completely acceptable. he parrots this shit with his friends, who all share the same viewpoint as him. when i was his age, i was discovering bisexuality existed. i used to keep a diary for a short period of time when i was in year 5 (10 years old) and one line in it was: ‘i don’t know if i am gay, lesbian, bi or trans’ (bless my 10 year old self). i had no hatred for people in the lgbtq+ community, because i was largely unaware of it, outside of a couple people i knew. there wasn’t tiktok to tell young kids how to think or how to treat people. the amount of shit my brother has come out to me with, even insulting me with. literally last night my 11 YEAR OLD brother called me a whore. ELEVEN (11). multiple times he’s called me a dishwasher, told me to get back in the kitchen, called me a slut, a whore, etc. etc. i used to take it as a joke, and not think too much of it, but i’m starting to think it’s not a joke at all, just genuine misogyny. he’s come up to me and called black people monkeys, called muslims suicide bombers, and every time i tell him to not say that because it’s extremely offensive and even threaten to take his xbox off him and tell our mum or someone at school, he doesn’t care. he literally just does not give a shit. and to be perfectly honest, the school system to tackle discrimination is fucking horrendous. when i was at school a (white) girl in my year called someone the n word, and what did the school do? absolutely nothing. people confronted her about it (rightfully) which came off as ‘bullying’ and she didn’t have to go to any lessons and got to stay in the building where the nurse was. at my brother’s school this year, a boy in his year (another white 11 year old) called someone the n word. he got moved into the other class. that’s it. both of our schools claimed to be “diverse” and anti-xenophobia (even though my school had a maximum 3 poc staff). like how do you even deal with this?

my (white cishet) brother thinks it’s okay to say the n word. he thinks it’s okay to be islamophobic. he thinks it’s okay to be misogynistic. i actually have no idea how to deal with him, or the other kids his age. when i was his age i don’t even think i knew the n word existed. i certainly didn’t know the word misogyny.

as soon as you try to stand up to these fucking devil children, they will hurl some sort of slur at you. some insane insult which leaves you standing there like ‘how the fuck do they know that’. i doubt my brother or other kids his age actually understand what some of the things they say mean, and just say them because they know they’re bad words.

what the fuck do i even do with him. we come from a white irish catholic family. if my grandparents knew i was some inkling of lgbtq+ they probably would’ve disowned me. my own mother outed me to my uncles and her boyfriend’s daughter and her boyfriend. when i started crying when she told me this, she didn’t understand. she thought i was just upset about the fact that my nan was dead. one of my friends nearly outed me to a very homophobic kid in my year when i was 12. and it sort of leaves me wishing i had never come out. life would be so much easier if people just assumed i was cishet. but that’s not possible. i thought people would be supportive. though my own family and friends have openly been homophobic and transphobic around me, seemingly forgetting about me.

my brother calls me gay as an insult, and despite the fact i insist i’m not gay (i am) he just laughs and moves on until the cycle repeats. i don’t really want to be some saviour white person who thinks they can solve racism by wagging their finger at someone and then forgetting about it. i actually want to help my brother realise he should stop fucking saying what he’s saying. if that means me fucking taking his xbox off him and putting it in the loft then so fucking be it. i genuinely have no idea how to help the younger generation who have grown up on racist tiktoks rather than beheading videos on early youtube.

My apologies for taking. So long to respond time literally slipped away from me. I simply thought school festivals were fake & made up. Can confirm snake bites are cool & i hope you can get them. -What are you passionate about?

I’m quite passionate about illustration, photography, design (obviously), playing video games (specifically the Sims 3), listening to good music, eating good food, and learning stupid things from the internet. All these interests mostly stem from just learning about things I like. Once I’m invested in something I have to know everything about it.

-What culture/geography/region/country do you identify with?

Canada, not really, but I’ve lived here my whole life. I’ve actually never been anywhere outside of Ontario and Quebec. I’d love to travel around but I’m not rich :*). I’m also Portuguese, but I've unfortunately never been to Portugal. I’d love to go but I don’t know any of my family over there and they probably don’t know of my existence. However, my boyfriend and I would really like to go to Japan! I don’t personally connect with it, but we made plans to go eventually, sometime after graduation and I’m set on making the trip happen.

-Is there a design, object or product that you love or hate and why?

D2L/Brightspace!!! I hate it (lmao). It’s not awful but there are way too many ways to do the same thing, which makes everyone so confused. Blackboard was surprisingly much easier, and I kind of miss it (like Stockholm syndrome). I just wish I could see my grades properly in 2DL, blackboard had a nice grades panel and you could compare your grades with your classmates anonymously.

-Are there any recent events/news, Canadian or otherwise, that you FEEL for?

Yesterday (Sept. 26th) there was a guy swinging an axe outside of TMU (toronto metropolitan university). My sister goes there, so it was kinda scary. She thankfully is taking a course that operates outside of the campus grounds, but it’s so wild that people would go to a college campus and swing axes.

-Is there an experience that impresses you while travelling [people, place, service]?

I rarely travel, but I went to Italy once in 2021! The people were nice-ish even though I didn’t speak Italian, and the food was quite good. I was shocked however, that they rarely serve vegetables (I was dying for cucumbers or broccoli after the trip). The trains were also quite fast, but it was still a long trip when taking them. My family and I went from the top of Italy (Del Garda) all the way to Rome in one day. We actually went twice, but it was exhausting.

-Do you consider yourself a T-shaped individual? If so, what area/discipline do you know well? What other areas/disciplines do you know to some extent?

I would consider myself a jack of all trades when it comes to art (aside from sculpture, I suck at that). I’m quite good at photography, design, illustration, and pretty much use any kind of physical medium (oil, acrylic, pastel, water colour, ink, pencil crayon…) due to the years I spent doing art over having life experiences (T-T). I would say I have a deeper knowledge in design, as that's what i’m studying, and I like learning more about it to hopefully aid me in future job prospects. However, in terms of weird knowledge (my favourite kind), I know a lot about video games, but with specific video games, I know A LOT about them. More specifically, Undertale…I KNOW cringe. What am I 13? I got invested in the game when it came out and I still get really invested in topics I like. I will go out of my way to learn everything I can about them, almost to the point where I learn things that aren’t even true, just theories (a game theory :0 -matt patt).

Do I know how yearbooks work? No. Was I tagged? Also no. But I wanted to do this so I could have an excuse to take awkward teenage pictures of my main sims. Rambling under the cut.

Okay sooo. I imagine they’re all like 16-17 here, but they’re not actually the same age and they didn’t go to the same schools. When they were 16, Sharon still didn’t attend the same school as the triplets, and well, Rachel was about 10 when the triplets were 16 lol (don’t forget Rachel met Caleb when they were both all grown up already). Ross is canonically a year and a half younger than the triplets. So yeah, these photos weren’t taken in the same school year. I know you don’t care but I had to get it out haha. Moving on.

No seriously, who let me pick Breeze as the legacy surname. Thank god Ross’s father had a normal surname so I can go with that 😂 And look, the yearbook kids granted Ross’s wish...sort of.

I’m still sad I didn’t give Ross an awkward edgy teenager phase for at least a few posts when I played the legacy, but oh well. This picture is enough. He’ll always have an awkward edgy phase around 16 in my heart. Then something happened and he suddenly got handsome and took advantage of it.

Sharon! In the sims 3 story that I’m writing, she lived in quite a conservative environment for most of her life, not to mention her father is very strict...I think she’d look a lot like a basic white christian girl for a little bit (nothing wrong with that at all, it’s just not her). I wasn’t sure what to do with her quote, so in the end I picked this because she’s an athletic gal who loves running (and even does it professionally later).

He doesn't have one.  

2. Are they a cat person or dog person? Or do they prefer a different type of pet?

He likes both, but if he had to choose, he'd rather walk Maple than lounge around with the cats.

3. Do they want kids? How many?

He’s happy with his fur babies, so no kids anytime soon. 

4. What world are they from? Or are they from a real world place?

He was born in Busan, South Korea and lived there until the age of 9.

5. Do they have any siblings? What are their parents like?

He has an older brother, a twin sister, and younger sister. Growing up, his dad was emotionally neglectful and a bit controlling. His mom struggled with mental illness(which they didn’t bring up, ever), but tried her best. She was the glue that kept the family together.

6. What do you think their zodiac sign would be?

Western: Taurus Sun, Scorpio Moon, Leo Rising

Korean: Metal Monkey (The Korean zodiac has it’s own natal chart. I don’t know a lot about it.)

7. What type of weather do they like?

He likes warm, sunny weather.

He’s a throw caution to wind kind of person. However, he can make a basic plan and stick with it. He leaves the heavy planning to Isaiah or Seon-hwa.

He had problems at home and seen some things he shouldn’t have, but aside from that, his childhood wasn’t too messed up. 

11. Can they sing well? Play an instrument?

He’s musically gifted. In college, he was the lead singer of a Rock band.  Also he can play the bass and the guitar.   

12. What’s a childhood memory they have?

When he was four, one of his aunt’s enchanted plants grabbed him by the ankle and dragged him around. That moment scarred him for life. 

It’s the reason why tentacles freak him out so much.

He’s trans and identifies as pansexual.

He loves a good party. Sadly, he doesn’t have much time these days.

Simblr community challenge

Again with being tagged by Lili @lilidebergerac! Threatening to kill your non-existent doggie didn’t work I see. Oh well. 

How long have you been playing the Sims?

The late 90′s. I think right around the time S2 came out - or just before. I had been merrily playing Simcity, nuking Sims left and right, when some guards at the jail where I worked as the nurse (actually I was stuck with running their entire medical department because the quack - errr.... doctor - was a lazy bum), told me how great the Sims was. And that I really needed to play it. “No way!” I replied. “That’s a sissy game and I like reigning terror down upon my Sims in Simcity!” But then it went on sale at Wallyworld for a pittance, so I caved and bought the entire Sims 1 series. Waited about 6 months before switching over to TS2.

How long have you been a Simblr and why did you become one?

Like Lili I came over here because The Sims Daily shut down. As she said, a lot of its members where on Tumblr and Manu @yourpicasso25 threatened to hunt me down like a dog if I didn’t. And she lives in France while I live in Missouri. But she can be scary!!!

What type of Simblr are you?

A really crappy one. I seriously can’t figure out why anyone takes the time to follow me. Maybe @yourpicasso25 has threatened them too?

Which generation of Sims do you primarily play?

The sims 3. I thought about trying TS4, but then sat down and did the math - and OMG!!!! That is way too much money to fork over for something that will probably be replaced in another year. Plus, I love the whole open-world concept of TS3. Just wish EA had actually given players the things that we sked for, but such is EA. STUPID!!!

So, now to tag someone. But I think everyone has been tagged. So, if you want to do this, knock yourself out. And if not, life as we all know it, will go on - I suppose.

Clare Siobhan Villareal Challenge

Do you like Clare Siobhan's sims series?  Do you like the Villareals?  Do you wish you could interact with them in a fun and creative way?  Then this is the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Clare Siobhan Villareal Challenge, a generations challenge for you to involve your own sims in the lives of this fascinating family.  This challenge is the outline for what can become a beautiful story you will create.

Basic Rules: 1) This challenge will be a sims family you create following the Villareals from generation to generation. So your family will be having 4 generations to follow Gen 2 with Max down to Gen 5 with Raven and Cain from Clare Siobhan's series.

2) Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

3) You may live wherever you please unless specified.

4) Every generation must complete and follow the specifics of their challenge.

5) Keep the lifespan on normal.

6) Names, appearances, personality traits, sexes, aspirations and careers can be anything unless specified.

7) You must add the Villareal sims from Clare's gallery @clarecallery.  Make sure to add them throughout the challenge, and with the help of cas.fulleditmode or MCCC set the Villareal family relations correctly.  Add the Villareals at any age unless specified, for example Lilith must be added as maximum a teenager.  

8) Extra sims and side sims are allowed for more story.  If there is a sim that isn’t on the gallery, make them yourself.

9) Make sure sims age-up together with Villareal sims if they are specified to be the same age.

CHALLENGE: Generation 1: Cops and Robbers You and Max Villareal were both mischievous friends from the very beginning.  As childhood friends, naturally you grow onto each other and develop similar traits.  But playing cops and robbers turned out to be more real than you think.  As time goes on, you cannot help but notice the strangeness in the Villareal household...

Rules:

Start as a child together with Max Villareal.

Have "Active" Trait.

Become Max's Best Friend before his mother's death.

Witness the death of Max's mother, without Max being there.

Gain the "Erratic" trait after witnessing death.

Age up into a Y/A and pursue a career as a policeman or detective while Max pursues life in crime.

Fight Max and win.  

Become Max's enemy.

Have at least two children (one for each part of Gen 2).  One must be a daughter.

Rules:

Only have one friend until teenagehood.

Have a bad relationship with the Gen 1 “Cops and Robbers” parent.

Have "Hot-headed" trait.

As a teenager, go out to party every other night in secret.

Befriend Lilith Villareal and 2 more sims of your choice.

One night bring sister “The Lover” along to a night out.

Must start a fire and help extinguish it.  If Elsa Bjergsen does not die in the fire, she must die another way.

Master "Mischief" skill.

Elope and move out the same day you age-up to Y/A.

Have three children.

As a teenager, go out with “The Fighter” sibling on a forbidden night out (as specified above).  That night, fall in love with Abel Villareal.

Every Weekend and Wednesday, skip school with Abel until Y/A.

Woohoo with him but DO NOT fall pregnant.

Write a book called "The Villareal Curse" based on facts learnt from Lilith and Abel of their family secrets.

Must die young as a Y/A.

Rules:

Date at least five people.

Date Nathan Street.

Have "Cheerful" trait.

Become Best Friends with Phoenix.

Wear pastel colours in contrast to Phoenix's black clothing.

Master "Party Animal" Aspiration.

Fall into a depression after hearing of Phoenix's death and get a tattoo in remembrance of her.

Enter the Fashion career.

Marry, divorce and re-marry the same person as an elder.

Have kids, name one Phoenix after Phoenix Villareal, your dear friend <3.

Receive the book "The Villareal Curse" from your auntie.  You are fascinated by it and pursue magic.

Fail school as a teenager.

Have a bad relationship with "The Scientist" sibling.

Eventually must become allies with "The Scientist" sibling and fight against Eve Spicer alongside Raven Villareal and the gang.

Witness Scientist sibling's death.

      a) If you have Realm of Magic:           - Become a spellcaster.           - Win a duel against Eve.       b) Base-game:           - Master "Friend of the World" Aspiration.           - Win a fight against Eve.

Amazed by how the world works, you are optimistic and intrigued.  You want to have control and search for a way to grasp life.  You think your sibling is ridiculous for believing in the supernatural and want to prove them wrong.  “Seeing is believing!”  Of course, let's hope you don't go mad in the process...

Rules:

Have "Genius" trait.

Befriend Seth Spicer.

Be an "A" student as a child and teenager.

Master "Scientist" career (Get To Work Pack).

Have a sidekick/friend.

Fall in love with a supernatural being.

Have a child with said supernatural being before death.  While you or partner is pregnant, hide from your family (this child will be the Gen 2 "The Mafia" Child.)

Die "in battle" against Eve as a Y/A (directly by Eve, a minion or a trap.  Be creative!)

Generation 4: The Mafia

Adopted by your aunt/uncle (The Dreamer), you see the darkness in this world in a way no one understands...  Of course, you are half-half of something mystical!  Who knows?  You didn't!  Because of this, you don't trust anyone, not even yourself.  Instead, you gather all this internal supernatural frustration and gather it in crime...

Rules:

Challenge starts as a Teenager.

Never have a Good Friend.

Join criminal career or start a gang group (Get Together).

Have "Kleptomaniac" Trait.

Steal “The Villareal Curse” book written by "The Lover" great auntie.

Become the Gang leader.

Complete "Public Enemy" Aspiration OR Master "Criminal Career".

Become enemies with your enemy clan's leader, Cain Villareal.

Have one of your cousins get kidnapped by Cain.

Defeat Cain in a fight which will lead to Cain abandoning Earth and leaving to space.

Use your supernatural side to your advantage in your crime tasks.

Fall in love but never marry out of guilt.

I worked really hard on this challenge but had lots of fun with it!  I am very excited to finally share it with you all of you, let’s see how it goes and what stories you all come up with!  A refreshing and new way to re-live Clare’s amazing sims series.

5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be? Already answered this, fruit tree! I also like palm trees, maple trees, and willow trees. I know that’s not the question, I’m just saying random shit now.

6. When you looked in the mirror this morning what was the first thing you thought? It took me a long while to remember where I was this morning. I honestly don’t remember, I was rushing to get ready for an early morning meeting.

23. What is one unique thing you’re afraid of? Unique? Uhm well my two big fears are confined spaces and deep water so a submarine is like my worst nightmare.

In real life, probably the time I was at a laundromat in Italy and this guy wandered in with a beer, sat next to me and my male roommate, assumed we were a couple, and proceeded to give us bizarre life advice. I wish I could remember more of it, but it was so odd.

51. Are you a good liar? Hmm I’m okay at it I think, that is, I can convince people I’m serious when I’m actually joking. But I don’t like actually lying if it’s not just teasing someone. 

52. How long could you go without talking? Probably a few days if I had to.

53. What has been you worst haircut/style? The haircut I got before studying abroad! It was too short and I was so sad.
