A glance at Elnath Perusha

She is the dutiful captain of the Thanatos Squad, serving directly under the ruler, Haze, herself.

Kodama's boss in Tales of the Rays: Recollection. Most of Elnath's info is...a huge spoiler! So allow me to give you a peek at Elnath-senpai in a bit of a longer than usual "on the surface" section, while keeping spoilers under the cut. I will try to lean on the light end of spoilers, but if you have any interest in this story, those spoilers are still rather heavy. You have been warned.

On the surface:

Elnath may look small, (and she is! Under 5ft tall) but she's older and more powerful than her appearance may suggest. She is a stern captain that oversees the Reaper Knights, and is constantly lecturing Kodama for going out of line. But she isn't without compassion, as she notices his good intentions. She often overworks herself into long hours to fulfill her role, and enjoys sweets in her free time. Though she wouldn't admit it upfront.

Elnath serves directly under the ruler, Haze, and they are very close. However, Elnath also considers herself Haze's biggest admirer...A trait she shares with Kodama. The two of them often compete over who loves Haze more. They consider each other friendly rivals in this sense.

Elnath is serious and sincere. She cares about Haze and her friends to the point where she would do anything to keep them safe. Which can be a dangerous mix with her underlying impulsive nature where she feels like she must solve things without help.

To look deeper, we must tread major spoilers about Elnath. I recommend reading the story for these details. With that warning, let's look just a little closer below the cut... (I will keep certain things vague to at least save *some* surprises)

Her identity as "Elnath" is the result of a terrible mistake, a decades long nap where she awoke without any memories, and Haze keeping her close under her care. In truth, she predates the creation of the world itself. According to the Rays timeline we were recently given, Elnath is over 3,290 years old. Her original form is that of a small fairy known as a "mirrite."

Elnath eventually remembers who she used to be. Her unique power can save the people she loves from the endless disaster of the monstrous wraiths that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction, but in her reckless desire to save everyone, she decides she must take this burden upon herself. This plan will come at the cost of her original mission...and her own life.

All she wants is for the people she loves to live on happily. The world she came to love as "Elnath." She no longer considers herself who she was in the past. She lives as Elnath now.

She would sacrifice herself and indeed an entire world for the future of her loved ones.

Her loved ones, however, want nothing more than to live on with her and cannot accept her plan to sacrifice herself. Thus, our protagonists chase after her into the unknown...

Idk if this has been done yet (it probably has) BUT

Somehow in some magical way (suspend that disbelief for a moment) Childe and Legacy split into two different bodies, temporarily or not.

And... I can just imagine how freeing it would feel for the both of them to have agency over their body 24/7.

It's also really really amusing how they'd slowly turn to look at their s/o when they realise that they're now 2v1 and they can smother them with love twice as much as usual :>

Ugh the brainrot doesn't end. Imagine laying on top of Legacy while Childe is curled up laying on your chest. Imagine having trouble sleeping without being sandwiched between the two. Imagine now having two hands to hold on either side of you. Imagine them playfully trying to keep you each to themselves. Imagine going out and doing everyday things with a bf and his mothman version. Imagine trying to fit into a single love seat because it's Legacy's love-seat-cuddle-time, only Childe doesn't want to be left out. Imagine either Childe or his s/o messing up with food portions because now there's not two there's three, and instead of being upset about it the three cook TOGETHER. Imagine how many first things there are to experience with both of them conscious at the same time, from the most mundane to the most obscure. Imagine having difficulty with going to work and doing chores because. they. just. won't. let. you. get. up.

i love the imagery of Childe and Foul Legacy looking at each other in disbelief then slowly turning to look at you when you gasp. grins split across their faces, both human and monstrous, and they run over and embrace you in a hug, Childe's arms around your waist and Legacy's face buried into your hair. the Eleventh Harbinger lets out a boisterous laugh and his Abyssal half chitters in response, and you simply sigh and hug both of them at once as best you can

your life becomes infinitely more chaotic with two different versions of Ajax running around, wanting and giving you twice as much love than usual- if you're holding Childe's hand, Foul Legacy wants headpats. if you're brushing Legacy's fluff, Childe wants to kiss you- it's a never-ending cycle of giving them attention!! not that you mind, because they shower you with all their affection and adoration too, snuggling up to you for naps and cuddles whenever they can. Legacy hates that he can't go out with you and Childe, whining and clinging to you whenever you return home, since he was so lonely. you do your best to go on nighttime walks with him when no one is awake- although they usually turn into Legacy and Childe alternating who gets to cradle you in their arms as they go for a stroll, and you all make flower crowns of glaze lilies for each other, the blossoms glowing faintly in the dark

they both want to hug you at night as they fall asleep, your presence keeping the nightmares at bay, but your bed's not nearly large enough for both of them. so instead you all retire to Legacy's blanket nest, curled around each other in comfortable serenity. Legacy pulls your back up to his chest with a sleepy purr, and Childe burrows into your arms, his nose brushing against your skin. there's a mumble of "I love you" from the Harbinger, his deep blue eyes shutting with a soft exhale, and at the same time a tender rumble comes from Foul Legacy, his grip on you tightening carefully. the three of you drift into sleep, with you sandwiched between the person and the Abyss monster you love the most

Lily's Orabeoni was a good person.

It doesn't matter how many people call him bad names, he is a good person.

Besides, what do they know? They don't know how he held her when she was small, they don't know how he would comfort and read to her whenever she couldn't sleep, how he would leave her little gifts whenever she was feeling sad. They don't know anything.

Her eldest brother was a good person.

Basen didn't believe her when she told him how kind big brother was.

When she overhears some kids bad-mouthing her brother at mother's party, her blood boils. She runs and tackles the moron.

"Shut Up! You don't know what you're talking about!"

"Ack- Get off of me!"

The boy throws a punch and it hits but it's okay because she hits back. They get into a fistfight and her mom grounds her but it's okay because Cale is there and he understands.

('She's there under her covers, frustrated tears blurring her vision. They don't understand. That kid was talking bad about her big brother! She hears her door open and close, there's a dip at the end of her bed and Cale asks what happened. She tells him everything, because if anyone would understand, it would be Cale.

He tells her that she shouldn't have done that and that it doesn't matter if they talk bad about him but it does matter. It matters to her. And he comforts her like she knew he would and it feels like everything is going to be okay')

She is going to be a knight. Her Orabeoni has shown her how to protect with words, now she will learn with a sword.

Lily dyes her hair. Just a single streak of red to match her brother.

When she shows her older brother, she tells him with a smile 'Look, look! Now we match! ' When he gives her a hug, she pretends not to notice the slowly growing wet spot on her shoulders.

Basen... is jealous.

He's denied it for a long time but watching his big brother teach his little sister how to make flower crowns while she watches with her eyes shining in excitement- he is jealous.

Cale is his brother (does Cale think that?)

Cale is his big brother but he's never- he's always been distant. Like Lily, Basen is sure that Cale is a good person. He knows how Cale sacrificed his reputation for him and his mother, he had a front row seat. How could he not know? When the adults confronted him, Cale pretend that he threw the vase just to be mean-

Is it childish that he also wants to feel the warmth of his big brother that Lily talks so much about?

Basen, on impulse, takes some basic problems that he'd already solved from his tutor and knocks on Cale's door.

By the time the door opens he's about ready to walk away-

"What do you want?"

Cale doesn't say it like he's upset, just tired. Basen tries and fails to suppress a flinch.

"C-can you help me with some problems I'm having trouble with?"

There's a short pause. His palms are sweaty.

"Sure." 'huh-?' "Get in."

Cale opens the door wider while Basen stays still like an idiot.

Cale moves to sitting on his couch, waiting.

"Well?"

"R-right!"

Basen is nervous and excited at the same time. Is it really that easy?

Cale spends a while explaining each question, doesn't once mock him, and right now? He oddly feels- Happy.

When they're done and move to get up, Cale ruffles his hair affectionately and they both freeze.

"Oh- Sorr-"

"No no! It's fine-"

They both leave the room in opposite directions (it was a bit awkward) and Basen has never felt lighter.

He heads towards Lily's room and reluctantly admits that "yes, his headpats do feel nice- you win"

After this, Basen also understands the anger lily feels whenever he hears servants talk badly about his brother. And he has a scary realization that Cale hears this all of the time.

[The next time Cale and Lily go to the gardens to play with the flowers, they invite Basen and there he learns that people really don't know anything about Cale. Even their parents.

Basen can see the soft smiles directed at him and Lily, the patience he has when they make a small mistake, and there he feels happy]

Deruth is confused.

Lily has taken up a rebellious streak, seemingly starting fights with other children for no reason. The first time this happened, He asked lily why she hit the kid first and when Lily spoke, she teared up a bit and spoke, anger still present in her voice.

"He was saying stupid things."

Violian was shocked and so was Deruth.

They grounded Lily for the first time and both had a talk after. Deruth didn't want to admit it, but the possibility of Cale influencing her was high. Lily was still very young.

When Deruth asked Basen about this, he looked at Deruth in disbelief.

"..Are you sure?"

"I'm not saying anything is certain, just a possibility. Lily is still young."

"I... suppose so.."

(Later Basen would come into his office and take back those words.)

Deruth had just finished the paperwork for the day and went on a walk in a garden. There he found two of his children making flower crowns on a blanket and the oldest guiding them. They obviously hadn't seen him yet and Deruth paused for a moment. Cale was... smiling. That smile that he got so many compliments on, that everyone said could light up a room.

'when was the last time I've seen that smile...?'

Deruth felt his heart lighten and decided to walk up to them.

"I see you all are having fun."

"Father!"

"Hello"

Cale stopped smiling and looked tense.

"...Hello father."

Lily, noticing the awkwardness, quickly said something.

"Cale's teaching us how to make flower crowns!"

After a bit of small talk between the three (Cale staying silent), His oldest got up and placed two identical, well made flower crowns on Lily and Basen's heads.

"I just remembered I have a bit of work to do, you guys have fun"

And with a couple of headpats, Cale began to speed walk away.

"Ah- And there he goes.." Lily was pouting.

"... I think you should have told him to stay." Basen also seemed upset.

Deruth just looked helplessly towards the direction Cale walked off to. An unfinished flower crown left where he was sitting.

(The next day before breakfast, Basen handed him the flower crown from before and told him to give it to Cale during breakfast.

Contrary to Deruth's belief, Cale did show up

Near the end of breakfast, Deruth got up at the same time as Cale and nervously walked towards him. The table was silent, seemingly waiting.

Deruth held out the flower crown.

"You forgot this yesterday"

A pause, Deruth got even more nervous.

Cale hesitantly took the crown.

"..Thank you."

When Cale left, Deruth let out a shakey exhale. Lily was excited.

"Did you see his ears!?! He was happy!"

Later on, Deruth would get a report from Hans stating the usual but with a comment from Hans that would also make Deruth happy.

"The Young Master was seen wearing a flower crown all day! It was very odd.")

Honestly, he’s relatively unphased. Sure, he’s not huge on things like PDA or affection in general, but it’s not as if he doesn’t mind it. Plus, the warm feeling he gets when you hug or touch him is something he’s grown to find very nice.

The poor boy doesn’t feel many emotions, so the butterflies you sometimes give him even doing something as casual as patting his shoulder or hugging his arm are strangely appreciated. In return, he tries to be at least a little affectionate.

Muichiro’s attempts at being affectionate may not line up with others’ though- he considers headpats and leaning against you as his way of showing that he loves you. In return, you show him you love him.

The one time Muichiro won’t appreciate touchiness is in public, especially at the pillar meetings. He won’t mind as much if you’re necessarily touchy in front of a pillar, but the meetings have too serious of a feeling to them. That and, should (for some reason) the two of you be in Ubuyashiki’s presence outside of a meeting. No touchiness then, please. Ubuyashiki wouldn’t mind (he… can’t even see said touchiness-) but Muichiro does (and you probably do as well).

While he doesn’t typically go out of his way to get you to show him affection, nor voice his opinion on your affection (he assumes that, since he doesn’t complain, you’re aware that he doesn’t mind since he wouldn’t hold his tongue otherwise), he really enjoys it when you play with his hair. Braid it, brush it, just overall mess with it, he doesn’t mind. It’s honestly really comforting, and is a really easy way to make him feel really loved.

Playing with his hair is one, but he also really likes when you lean against him or rest your head on him. Be it placing your head on his shoulder, in his lap, or on his chest when he’s lying down. None of those acts are very bold or noticeable to him, but that’s just what he likes about them. It’s gentle but still caring. They still make him feel loved.

Genya Shinazugawa <3

SO FLUSTERED, MY POOR BOY-

(Y/N), you’ve broken him. You’ve gone and broken Genya, what are we gonna do- who’s gonna tell Sanemi???

Genuinely, even just having your arm brush his sends him into a slight panic mode- like, he’ll feel your arm and instantly be like “oh no, (Y/N)’s arm touched my arm, their arm touched mine, stay calm, don’t freak out, don’t be weird, it’s fine.” and he ends up standing there awkwardly looking exactly like that man standing emoji.

Before he grew up a bit and was in his “I hate everything I’m going to start fights” days, if you’d touch him, he’d probably not hesitate to punch you. HOWEVER, Genya’s a real sweetheart now. He would never dare lay a single finger on you, nor get angry with you. You’re too cute to get angry at-

You’re also too cute for him to handle you being so affectionate. He short circuits nearly every time, tensing up and kinda fidgeting as he sits there. No matter how small the act of affection may be, he’s got the same reaction. He’s like a deer in headlights, but make the deer shakey.

Despite his reactions, he doesn’t necessarily mind your touchiness. He just doesn’t know how to respond to it. He admires you so much, plus you’re actually interested in him, so he hopes that it’s normal that he gets so nervous.

He rarely has moments where he doesn’t react like that, but, when he does, it’s when he’s really sleepy or really injured. Heck, even when really injured, he’ll still get a bit flustered. However, it’s during those moments that he appreciates your affection the most. Genya dislikes the fact that he can’t even hold your hand without feeling as if his face is on fire and entire body is shutting down, so the moments where he’s actually able to calmly hold you are the moments he treasures most.

On the very rare occasion, if you approach Genya as if he’s a stray cat, he’ll have a calmer response to your touchiness. However, doing so is a bit of a pain, and his reactions are constantly priceless, so you may as well just continue on with flustering the poor boy.

I feel as though Genya, like Muichiro, enjoys when you play with his hair! It’s not like he’s got as much hair as the previous boy, but it’s still really calming. Other than that, he also loves simple hand-holding. It’s easier for him to feel less embarrassed over, and casual.

Zenitsu Agatsuma <3

Similar to Genya, he gets absolutely, completely flustered. Unlike Genya, though he also forgets how to function properly, Zenitsu is able to react to the touchiness. His reaction is, as expected, loads and loads of compliments and such. Screaming as well. High-pitched, girly squeals- it’s… something you’ll have to learn to love about him.

Out of the three, I feel like Zenitsu both appreciates and reciprocates your touchiness the most. Even if you weren’t, Zenitsu would already be a touchy boyfriend- he considers himself extra blessed to have a s/o that is as touchy as he is.

Between the two of you, I feel like the others will quickly get bored of so much… affection. Zenitsu won’t get bored of it though! Every time, no matter who initiates it, he’ll blush like crazy, and squeeze you a bit, squealing compliments like a schoolgirl in love. And he lives for it, because he’s just!! So happy!!! He feels so loved!!!! He loves you so much!!!!!

Similarly to Genya once again, he’ll be a lot calmer when he’s sleepy or injured. Even still, if you give him a hug/kiss/hold his hand in those moments, he’ll get a little blush on his face. No matter how badly he feels or how sleepy he is, those acts of affection will always be reminders that you’re there for him. That’s another thing about it that just… makes him unbelievably happy.

If someone were to ask him what kind of affection he preferred, he’d have to say he couldn’t answer!! Honestly, he enjoys every bit of it! From your arm linking with his, to little kisses pressed to his face, he can’t limit himself to one favorite!!! His favorite is (Y/N), and that’s simply that!

But actually, he does favor two things a tiiiiiiny bit over the others- hugs and kisses. Hugs are so comforting, so warm. so safe, it feels like nothing can get either of you! And kisses are the only thing that the two of you can exchange that you can’t exchange with other people. Hugs, hand holding, hair ruffling- it’s affection, but it’s affection that can be shared between friends. He doesn’t know of any friends that kiss each other, it’s a couple-y thing to do!! :)))

Levi as a father 

-I honestly don’t picture Levi as someone who planned on having kids but rather someone who ends up having kids by complete accident. Living in the walls during a war is absolute hell and he doesn’t want his kids to suffer the same way he did growing up.

-Whether or not the kid is adopted or his biological kid- it doesn’t matter to him, he couldn’t give less of a shit about the parentage of his kid...if he raises the kid then you better believe it’s his kid.

If your kid is adopted then here’s how I picture you guys becoming their parents

- During one of your expeditions beyond the walls you find (what you think is) an abandoned cabin in the woods. When you point it out Levi just tells you to ignore it and focus on the task Erwin gave you, but you have this weird gut feeling that someone is in there. While Levi is distracted you go off to the cabin and peek inside and to your horror- there is a small child, no older than a few months crying in it’s deceased mothers arms. You run over and pry the crying baby from the mother’s hands and immediately start trying to hush it’s cries

-Levi notices the fact that you’ve left his side after a few minutes of silence and he pinches his nose in frustration- of course you went to check out the cabin he told you to ignore. He flies away from the tree he was perched on and makes his way to the cabin to look for you- upon reaching the cabin his eyes widen from pure shock. Where the hell did you get a crying baby from? he can’t help but be filled with sorrow when he notice’s the child’s dead parents on the ground behind you- bandits had probably murdered them.

-The two of you have a huge argument about what you should do with the orphan child and this results in the two of you not speaking for over a week. But as the week goes on, he realizes that him and that baby are more similar than he thinks. Levi never had a father- the closest father figure in his life being Kenny who abandoned him at a young age, and his dear mother Kuchel who died of sickness when he was just a boy. Both Levi and the child didn’t have parents in their lives, fate cruelly ripping that away from them. He see’s himself in that baby.

-After a week of silence Levi storms into your office only to catch you asleep with the baby on your chest, his heart softens just the slightest bit at the image. He sits next to you and gently shakes you awake- careful to not wake the sleeping baby. Before you can even say anything he quietly states:

-”we’re not abandoning the baby, we can raise them together”

-All the worry and stress you carried melted away after hearing his words.

If your kid was biologically his, this is how I picture it turning out:

-The day Hanji informed you that you were pregnant was quite possibly one of the worst days of your life (sorry to be angsty) how the hell could you have gotten pregnant? the amount of stress, physical strain on your body and sleepless nights is not ideal for fertility- so how the hell did this happen?

-How the hell would you even tell Levi? The topic of children has never once come up and you’re sure he would never want to raise a child in the walls while titans destroy and kill everyone in sight. Besides- the two of you already have enough on your plates as it is.

- You’d tell him straight out that you were pregnant during your nightly tea time before bed, just straight up dropping the news on him. It takes a few seconds for him to fully register what you just told him but once he finally understands he drops his teacup, the boiling hot tea staining his jacket. All he can do is sputter like a fish out of water and aggressively try to clean the stain.

- I’m going to be realistic here- the last thing he would do is jump for joy and kiss you. I hate to be angsty again but realistically he’d probably storm off and go for a walk around the town while he tries to take in the news. I see him unintentionally ignoring you for a few days while he tries to accept the fact that the two of you are bringing a child into this world.

-After about a week he’s finally calmed himself enough to talk to you about the situation and what the best thing for the two of you is. Again, he isn’t happy that you guys are bringing a kid into this- but who the hell would be? but he sure as hell won’t take that out on the kid, he thinks that’s the most pathetic thing you can do as a parent.

-”look, our situation is shitty but I’m not leaving you to raise the brat on your own”

How he is as a father

- I’m not going to lie to you, he is not the type to coddle his kid or show them a lot of affection. To be honest he doesn’t know a single thing about parenting, the only “parent” he had taught him violence and then left Levi to fend for himself- but he does know that most children don’t grow up around violence so he refuses to be even the slightest bit like his uncle Kenny.

- 100% calls his kid brat, ankle-biter, kid...you name it- but he doesn’t mean it in a derogatory way because deep down inside he still has a soft spot for the kid. 

-He rarely ever shows physical affection to the kid because he just doesn’t know how, he never knew the affectionate touch of another human until you came along. That’s not to say that he doesn’t love his kid- he would sacrifice his life without second thought to protect them.

-He doesn’t realize how distant and cold he can be to his kid until he overhears them crying to you about how “daddy doesn’t love me” and his heart just shatters into a million pieces because he DOES love them but for the life of him he just can’t find a way to show it.

-Levi ends up sitting down with the kid and having a conversation that was long overdue (for reference the kid is now 7 years old) and he admits that he loves them more than anything for the first time.

-Your kid just stares at him for a second and blinks because this is the VERY FIRST TIME they’re hearing their dad say I love you- Levi nearly has a heart attack when the kid launches themselves into his chest and starts sobbing.

-For the very first time in 7 years this kid is finally experiencing the love from their father (besides awkward headpats) and the feeling is just so foreign to both of them that even Levi sniffles a little bit

-Levi silently rocks them back and forth while he rubs their back, the child’s sobs turning into soft sniffles. But what Levi says next shocks all three of you.

“I’m sorry for being a terrible father. forgive me little one?”

-You don’t know what shocks you more- the fact he apologized or that he called your child “little one” instead of the usual “brat”. The kid looks at him while wiping their tears away.

“you’re not a bad daddy. I love you papa”

-To this day Levi swears he just had watery eyes because of the dust but you know damn well they were fat tears rolling down his face

-After this incident Levi swears to himself that he’ll be a more affectionate father, a father who tells his kid that he’s proud of them, a father who their kid can rely on.

-He’s tough on his kid and never lets them slack off, he scolds them whenever they make bad choices and sometimes your kid says he’s got a stick up his ass (you lightly scold them but the two of you always end up laughing because it’s true) but your husband deeply cares for your child and does it so they can grow into the best version of themselves.

-Did I mention that he absolutely flips the fuck out when your kid brings home Eren’s kid to introduce you to them? You have to sit on him to make sure that he doesn’t strangle the poor bastard. 

“If that son of a bitch is anything like his father then they’re going home in a bodybag!” “Levi you can’t threaten them just because they’re Eren’s kid!” “Like hell I can’t! nobody is good enough for our child”

-Your kid quickly learns that they can’t bring their significant other home while Levi is there- unless they have a death wish. The two of you team up to keep Levi distracted for a few hours while the couple chills in your living room

-Your kid swears like a sailor (just like their dad) and Levi swears on his life that he’s not the one that taught them that.

“What the hell do you mean? I didn’t do shit! I don’t fucking know where they picked that up from!” *cue you looking into the camera*

-He’s so damn proud when he see’s his kid graduate at the top of their class. He doesn’t scream at the top of his lungs when your kid walks across the stage but he pulls them to the side after and congratulates them with a small smile on his face

“Good job. I’m proud of you, damn brat”

-Gives them one of his rare Levi hugs and the kid nearly drops the diploma in shock because “wtf dad never hugs me”

-You have to pinch his side multiple times during your kid and Eren’s kids wedding because he won’t shut the hell up with snarky remarks

“Say no goddamnit!” *you pinch him* 

“Ow son of a bitch! what the fuck Y/n?”

 “Would you shut the hell up and be happy for our child on their wedding day?!” 

“I would if our child had taste and picked someone el- OW FUCK!” 

“Shut the fuck up already and behave, Levi!”

-He grumbles while the rest of the former cadets and captains laugh at his sour look

-God could you imagine Levi and your kid sitting at the dinner table, it’s almost midnight and they’re arguing over a homework question neither of them understand. This is the night both of you hear your kid swear

“What the hell is this shit? Improper fractions are made-up bullshit”

“If you don’t know then how the fuck am I suppose to know?”

-It’s so silent you can hear a pin drop

“Levi come here for a second”

“Shit...finish this while I’m gone, brat”

-Your kid laughs their ass off while you pull Levi’s ear and drag him to your shared room

-An absolute nightmare when it comes to cleaning oh my god both you and your kid wanna kill him sometimes

“This shit isn’t clean, you wipe it down six times and then place it at an angle”

-The war ended years ago now and he tells your kid about all the titans he killed and the ass he kicked

“And then I sliced that ugly bastard titan’s head clean off!”

-The noise the toaster makes when it’s done scares the shit out of him. He’ll be in the middle of scolding your kid and then he jumps because the toaster is done and your kid just thinks it’s comedic gold

BnHA Chapter 315: I Didn’t Expect This to Blow Up

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “guess which plot that you thought was dead is actually not dead and is making a comeback!” and we were all “EVIL HPSC??” and he was all “girl you know it,” and that’s the story of how we got a sexy Lady Nagant flashback with lots of guns and murder. Flashback!Lady was all “gotta murder peeps to preserve the people’s trust,” but then a little while later she was like “actually wait that makes no sense,” and so she shot her evil boss and they sent her to jail. Back in the present, Deku was all “okay fair, the hero system might in fact be a little fucked up, but hear me out... have you considered not helping AFO take over the world so he can murder like a bazillion more innocent people??” The chapter ended with the not-all-there Overhaul finally revealing himself to Deku, and I honestly have no idea where this is gonna go.

Today on BnHA: In what is unfortunately the single worst plan ever concocted by anyone in BnHA, Nagant is all “I’m going to try and get this Deku kid to panic and freeze up by putting someone in mortal danger.” Deku is all, “[doesn’t panic and freeze up at the sight of someone in mortal danger].” Nagant is all “omg no way.” Deku, who is now all of a sudden being so OP that even I have to acknowledge that it’s OP lol, is all “[smashes Nagant’s gun arm to bits]”, which sucks but is also really cool, and which also apparently makes Nagant decide that she actually likes this kid after all. Deku is all “NAGANT I REALLY LIKE YOU AND THINK YOU’RE GREAT SO PLEASE JOIN UP WITH ME AND STOP BEING EVIL.” Nagant is all “aw shucks (✿ •͈ᴗ•͈) well okay then” and everyone is all “( ･◡･) ✰ ( ˆᴗˆ ) ( ᵘ ᵕ ᵘ ⁎)” and then Nagant FUCKING EXPLODES LIKE AN EGG IN THE MICROWAVE AND FALLS TO HER DEATH!!!! except not really because Hawks saves her??? so I have to tell you guys something, which is that barely ten minutes after I made that “please don’t send me spoilers” post the other day, someone replied to the comments in a stunning fit of “tell me that you’re twelve without actually telling me you’re twelve” energy and posted what seemed to be the copy-pasted spoiler summary from reddit or twitter or whatever lol. so here is my good news/bad news rundown of all that

good news: I have very well-conditioned ABORT!! reflexes and have trained myself to immediately look away from the screen (usually in dramatic fashion) as soon as I realize that whatever I’m reading is a spoiler

KARASUNO AND AOBA JOHSAI WITH A MEXICAN MANAGER

Mexican! Reader

KARASUNO

The Karasuno team was not used to having 3 managers. Let alone a foreign one. Since you arrived from Mexico, you had introduced yourself to Tsukishima and Yamaguchi who had thankfully taken a liking to you. After a few months of getting used to the culture you saw that they were both apart of the Volleyball club. At that point you knew you just had to come and and check it out!

The first time you came wasn’t really much of a greeting. Yamaguchi had lended you his notes since you had been absent and you wanted to return them before the next day so you went to the gym and saw....well....boys. Lots of them. In a millisecond- all of their eyes were on you.

“Um...hi? I have this for Yamaguchi- where is he exactly?” You asked. You had seen some of these people around like the orange haired boy, and the black haired one as they were constantly together.

“Oh yeah he’s probably in the club room, I’ll go get him for you!” The grey haired boy said as he gave a concerning grin and ran off, leaving you with the collection of eyes watching your every move.

“So! You guys like volleyball...I do too! That’s cool” You beamed, trying to create conversation. The orange haired boy bounced over.

“YOU DO?! DO YOU PLAY?!” He asked excitedly, which made you feel a little relieved.

“No I don’t, but I used to watch all the time, I love the game.” You responded with a smile as he nodded his head in understanding.

“I’m Hinata Shoyo! I’m a middle blocker!” He grinned as he waited for the natural response to his position, but it never came. You just smiled and gave him a calm response. “Cool!”

Hinata felt himself feeling a little more shy. Maybe it was because you weren’t in disbelief or because he suddenly realized that you were a lot closer than he thought, but he shook it off and backed up as Yamaguchi came out of the club room.

“Hey y/n! Guys this is y/n! She transferred here a few months ago.” He explained as you gave them all a wave like you just came. Despite being there for 5 minutes. “Yo!”

Once you left Tanaka and Nishinoya felt their souls return to their body as they ran to Tadashi.

“YAMAGUCHI! YOU KNOW HER?! HOW?! IS SHE SINGLE?!”

“DID YOU SEE HER SMILE?! SHE’S SO BEAUTIFUL” They ranted, stars in their eyes as the green-haired boy chuckled just a little.

“She’s in me and Tsukishima’s class, pretty smart if you ask me.” He responded.

How you got in as a manager was a pretty simple task. Yachi was supposed to take over for Kiyoko but she found herself struggling with the technical parts of being a manager rather than interactions and moral. And that- is when you stepped in eager to help in any way possible. So you did.

The boys already liked you when you came into the gym the first time, I mean after getting Tsukishima to tolerate you it was simply a downhill battle and it’s not like anybody was against another manager as long as they got to play.

These guys were extremely protective of you. You were this foreign first year who oh so easily volunteered to take on the job of helping handeling these kids, how could they not love you?

And that protection lasted EVERYWHERE. Somebody flirts with you? Daichi already there. Somebody insults you or your food? Nishinoya already got their number and will be telling them it’s on sight.

The girls love you! The girls nights are weekly because where could you find people to complain about and laugh at the boys to in secret? You shared with them recipies for your Chicken with Mole, and they helped make you some one time. You made the rice while they tried a hand at making the Mole and while they...struggled...it came out good and it was the effort that they valued the most!

Now since you’re Mexican you ate what you were familiar with for the most part. It wasn’t that you didn’t like Japanese food, of course not! But while you lived in Japan you didn’t have your family with you and food was the only way you could stay connected. So in your way of melting together the two cultures you sometimes made things for the team, including the coaches!

The team won a game successfully? No injuries or mishaps? Horchatas for everybody at your house no hesitation. Hinata actually got double digits on his test? Give that boy some of Enchiladas of his choice asap! The team loved your cooking! And you enjoyed giving them a taste of your home, it was a special thing between you all!

Sometimes on your bad days you would struggle with being the person you usually were. You seemed quieter and more timid when giving advice in tips. You were quite frankly, hiding in a shell the whole time. So when that happened the first time, the team decided to do some team building! They took you to an arcade [despite you refusing multiple times] and you played games all day. Watching Tanaka try and convince you that he is an amazing dancer definitly brightened your day. And even if he made a fool out of himself he didn’t mind. His lovely manager was smiling, what more could he ask for?

Overall- they all like to have you around and don’t know what they would do without you. probably die.

AOBA JOHSAI

Now with this team? It’s spoiling galore.

The first time they met you was when you were a second year transferring from Mexico and that already made you stand out from everybody else but that and the fact that you were somehow friends with Iwaizumi? Ohhh that set it off.

First off- you were a second year. Second off- not even Oikawa knew about you. What is happening?!

It turns out, you had met Iwaizumi because you lived near his family and on numerous occasions had asked him where everything was around here are as you walked to school together. You went to a separate place in the school when he went to go meet the team so you never met him until the night when Tooru slept over Hajime’s house and saw you knock on his door the next morning ready to walk.

Tooru opened the door cautiously wondering why you were outside his best-friends house in the uniform for their school. Wait- were you confessing? Did you find out his adresss and go to confess? He had to let you down easy- simple.

“Hi! I’m looking for Iwaizumi?” You said. You knew who this was you weren’t oblivious, but you had never met before so you had to introduce yourself.

“Look, I don’t know what you’re here for but Iwaizumi is not looking for a relationship right now because he is way to busy trying to pull up his trash gra- AH!” He squealed as Iwaizumi choked him by the back of his shirt.

“Shut up. Is it time already?” He asked you with a completely different tone than the one he had used with Tooru. Were you perhaps-dating?! After you nodded, Iwaizumi invited you inside while he got changed. Tooru started at you with wide eyes before walking over to you.

“So....are you and lwa-Chan secretly dating?!” He said as he got closer, with a wide grin on his face. You had known he was a character but he was really something right now.

“No?! Not at all actually I- I’m new? To Japan, I’ve been here for a few months and he’s been helping me figure out where everything is in this neighborhood.” You quickly explained hoping he would back up at least a little bit. It was as if he heard you and backed up.

“Oh- so what’s your name then pretty lady?” He said grinning. You were a little flustered and brushed it off to tell him. “That’s a beautiful name. Where you from then? If you’re new?” He asked and you explained you were from Mexico.

“Wow! I know a few words in Spanish!” He said as he recited the most basic words you had ever heard and somehow still goofed up the pronunciation. But he seemed so proud you almost couldn’t tell him he was wrong. But you did.

You became the manager because you seemed to be one of the only people Oikawa would listen to, because Iwaizumi listened to you. It was a cycle.

Once the team met you it was like love- at first sight~ You- this girl who has somehow made it so that people magically do what they’re supposed to do? Pls come immediately and shower these boys in affection.

They’re aggressively affectionate. Iwaizumi gives you headpats all the time for n o reason. None. We can all tell he favors you because even when you joke with Matsukawa about him and basically makes fun of you he’ll take it because your so nice.

You want a drink? Iwai will give you 10. Feeling a bit lonely? Matsukawa will give up his playful nature and give you a hug for as long as you’d like. Oikawa’s fangirls getting under your skin? Kunimi’s clearing that place out asap goodbye.

One time when the team was bumed out because they lost a match against Shiratorizawa, you made them all Horchatas and they were immediately like “...what is this ma’am” and you had to laugh, and they were all sitting so confused but smiling because your laugh was quite cute to them [loud or not] and you had to explain that it contained rice actually, as well as some nut milk and cinnamon [however you like them, they’d probably inhale it no matter what] and they enjoyed those things so much you brought them for every single last game until their last one.

One time, Kyotani actually asked if you could make him one for his birthday! He was so timid about it because he didn’t want to admit how much he liked it- but he was desperate. There was nothing worse than talking to people but you always seemed so nice to him, no matter how he reacted. So he asked. And you actually made him some as well as some Tacos de Papa that you had made the night before from Lunch. He graciously excepted and even listened as you explained how much you enjoyed making them because of the process and how you were happy he liked them. He even laughed and you two talked for a while that day.

Another time, you had been feeling homesick and you couldn’t take time off from the boys so you went to the practice anyways and everybody could visually tell you were out of it. You weren’t scolding them for misbehaving, and even let Kunimi leave early [he was going to leave either way] and in the end everybody was just worried. Who hurt you? Why were you so quiet? And WHERE were the drinks you had promised? A lot of questions were left unanswered because they immediately wanted to make you happier.

They decided they were just gonna talk to you. And they did. All of them- even Kyotani- sat and listened as you explained how you were feeling and it settled in for them that this is not your original home, and your family isn’t even here for you. It’s only natural you would get sad sometimes. So they forcefully sent Tooru off to get you a drink and all proceeded to abuse you with affection. frankly, you were only in the area because you were passing by, and you were trying to do it as quickly as possible.

after lisa would get her plants and such, you were off again to the inn and then to take up another mission granted to you in the morning.

though, despite the mission you ended up taking solo, you couldn’t stop thinking about that terrible night with razor.

you couldn’t bear the thought of seeing him again, knowing that most likely, you’d end up in tears again.

you couldn’t have waterfalls pouring out of your eyes in front of someone that meant so much to you.

but fate seemed to be pushing its luck, and the stars were aligning just for the two of you.

you and razor stared at each other for a moment, as if the other was an apparition and they were dreaming. his rough, calloused hands took a hold of one of your own gentle ones.

no, this was real alright.

the two of you were both afraid to make the first move, but once more, razor used his instinct to initiate what he thought was needed.

his strong arms wrapped around your neck, nuzzling into the soft skin.

course, you were caught off guard, and as much as your brain told you to pull away, you heard him whisper into your ear.

Razor pulled away, and for the first time, you were able to take in much more detail than what you had initially seen. There were tired bags under his eyes, his face worn out, as if he had not been able to sleep for weeks. His silver hair was a mess under his hood and his voice was much quieter, as if he was stepping on eggshells while determining how to make his next move. You gently reached out, cupping his cheek with that gentle, comforting smile you always wore.

His body shook as he suddenly felt as if his insides were collapsing. He felt his face grow hot with tears that ran down his pale skin, over his scar, and down onto the tiled floor. He felt so guilty for what he had done to you that he was terrified that you would seek vengeance. Or that you would leave. The latter was much more terrifying, as he hated when you were gone for a few days, how could he handle not seeing you for the rest of his life? Seeing your hands raise up, he braced for impact of a harsh hit to the face with his eyes squeezing shut.

“Shhh, Razor...it’s okay.” You murmured softly as he felt two soft hands delicately cup his face. Your thumbs would run along his smooth skin, wiping away the tears that continued to flow down. Your own eyes would water, but by the grace of the stars, you were able to keep somewhat of a composure. He opened his eyes just barely, enough to see you again at least. Confused by the look he was giving you, you began to carefully let go and put your hands down before he grabbed your wrists in a swift motion. Back they went to his face, and back you went to wiping his tears and simply holding his head in the doorway.

“Y/-Y/N. I am s-sorry. I h-hurt you. Didn’t m-mean to, just n-no know what l-love was.” Razor managed to choke out through staggered breaths and hiccups. You kept up your affection, smiling gently as you let one hand go of his cheek.

“Don’t worry about it. I shouldn’t have run off so fast and had more patience with you. I’m sorry myself.`` To calm him down further, you hesitantly lifted a hand and ran it through his silver locks. Razor froze for a moment, but he relaxed further into your touch as he tilted his head more towards the hand, similar to that of what a cat would do. Silence ran its course as you two slowly began to heal from the wounds of that night.

“I love you.” He stated simply. It almost slipped your mind as you continued to play with his hair and cup his cheek, but you did a double take as you stared at him.

“You...you what?”

“I love you.” Razor repeated again, a bit louder this time in case you couldn’t hear him or something of the sort. You were about to ask him if he was joking, but his face held a serious look to them as it dawned on you. He really meant it. Granted, it was the most simple, basic way to confess feelings back towards a person, but you didn’t mind. It was what made him charming and attractive to you anyways.

“Why do you love me?” Razor paused to think about it, deep in thought as he did his best to string the words Lisa recently taught him together into something worth remembering.

“Simple, love. Love is a person, like how mate is a being. Therefore, you are love. Warm, safe, kind. Easy to be vulnerable and be...Razor. Guard down.” He explained to you with a sweet look on his features. Despite his limited vocabulary, you were deeply touched. He took the time to think and make sure his point was clearly mentioned. Razor grinned happily as he tilted his head at you. The air was light again, the heavy feeling replaced with his heart being ecstatic as he didn’t have to even say anything else. He could feel how happy you became from hearing what he said. It was good he could sense your happiness, because you were left speechless.

“Be my love? Please?” Razor asked quietly as you continued your silent streak. Since you were at a loss for words, and because you knew his love language was physical touch, you decided to show rather than tell. Your hand that was on his cheek trailed down his face and found its place wrapped around his hips. Then, with one swoop, you pulled him in closer to you and gently collided your lips with his.

It was if a supernova had exploded inside of his chest. The feeling was forgein, unfamiliar. Perhaps this technique of two lips put together was a human tradition he had yet to learn. He didn’t know what to do, so he mimicked you a bit. He opened his eyes slightly and then watched as you leaned in. He would then mirror the action for a few seconds before you pulled away. He knew that whatever you had just done to him was a way of saying yes. He just knew, and he loved it. The affection and having your full attention was all he could ever ask for. In fact, Razor found himself wanting more as he cutely pouted.

“More please?” You laughed, covering your mouth a bit as you nodded your head and cupped his cheeks again. You peppered your kisses all over his face: on his forehead, nose, temple, chin, the corners of his lips. Razor huffed adorably as he shook his head, pointing at his lips.

“You miss! I want here, love!” Razor whined, though, his complaining was stopped as you kissed his lips again. He melted in your hold, and there was no better feeling in the whole world. The boy would pull away this time, panting softly as he curiously touched his lips with his hands. It was amazing every time he received them, and he knew that he would never grow tired of them. Perhaps you could give him lessons, he thought. Then he would become an expert! Yes, that sounded like a plan. But that would come at a later date.

For now, he wanted to spend the night with you in his arms again.

he would have totally dragged you into the guest bedroom where he was staying and given you a bunch of grass and flowers he had arranged.

the roots were still there, along with heaps of dirt, but you found it endearing nonetheless as you laughed and accepted them.

he also got you chocolate covered strawberries! he had made them with klee (a mistake on lisa’s part, she will never let those two in the same room unsupervised again, especially not a kitchen.)

he would make it up to you by practicing how to formulate sentences under the bright sun in wolvendom.

you would reward him with kisses or headpats, so he worked extra hard in order to improve his linguistic skills.

because of being a bit traumatized from being seperated from you for so long, he gets a bit of separation anxiety when you leave him for too long. he’ll do missions or even go shopping with you just to ease himself down.

both before and after khna, hoshizawa's is quite popular on the socials. More known for very absurd variety gaming. (imagining like RTgame sort of video themes, but with Tommyinnit's volume, Callmekevin energy, and Jschlatt's humor. I don't know but sort of that energy.) Posts the worst selfies on Instagram like 90% of the time though. And he always wore really bad shutter shades on camera.

ikuto's actor ends up stopping him from evil bastard crimes (arson probably) a lot. will slap him to put a quick end to any such villainous acts off camera, and gives him headpats or whatever to get them to chill tf out.

speaking of, hoshizawa's and ikuto's actors kiss before hoshiz and ikuto ever do. jfc.

anyways enough shipping content, off set he's way more chill. Like, catch them 1-1 and he's like a little wacky but minimal screaming and you can hold a contented conversation with them. The more people there are though, the more bastard this man can be.

~ General HCs ~

-He is somehow a heavy sleeper, even with all the chaos thats always being created in his household by his sons. -When Phil gives hugs, he also wraps his wings around the person as well. -Phil calls everyone "kid" and "kiddo". -He holds mugs by the actual mug instead of the handle, its why his hands are warm most of the time. -His wings puff up whenever he feels playful. -Without his hat, Phil's hair is very poofy and wild. -Phil loves to listen to people, and will patiently sit for a long time while listening to them rant or tell a story. -He whistles similar to a bird when he's happy. -Fatherly headpats. -Mumza taught him how to crochet a long time ago, and he still makes matching sweaters for his sons each year for Christmas. -He can't see windows. This lead to many accidentally flying accidents. Thankfully, he never gets hurt, but it's always something to tease him about. -Phil loves to bake more than cook. He has a sweet tooth. -Yes, he has many dad jokes under his belt.

~ Lee HCs ~

-If he were to be in the lee position, Phil would have to allow it- since he can easily turn the tables. -It's very rare that you can fluster him. -He is a pretty sassy lee, will be defying everything the ler says. -Phil is moderately ticklish, thought he has a few tickle spots that make him lose it each time. -His laughter is loud and free, and filled with occasional wheezes. It's a very genuine laugh, and fills the room with a certain coziness. -Isn't too much of a squirmer, but will try to catch the ler's hands. It difficult for him, though, since he instinctually squeezes his eyes shut when he laughs. -Phil's fluster spots don't tickle too much, but instead make him melt. He might let out little coos similar to a bird as well. -He honestly enjoys the affection, but that's probably because he knows he will get revenge right after. -Despite having wings, Phil is very ticklish to soft things. -His tickle spots are: Base of his wings, Lower ribs, and Ears. -His melt spots are: Hands, Wingspan of his wings, and Shoulders.

~ Ler HCs ~

-Phil is very playful, and loves to make the lee laugh with both tickles and what he has to say. -He has slight claws, and loves to use them to gently scritch on the lee's tickle spots. -Likes to trap people in his wings while tickling them. Though, it's nice; it's a cozy and cuddly trap! -Definitely uses his stubble to his advantage. When giving raspberries and nibbles, he makes sure to nuzzle as well to make it tickle even more. -Phil loves to put on the "tickle monster" role to be silly with his sons. -Makes comments about how ticklish the lee is, and makes commentary about where he's going to tickle next. -When provoked, Phil will start to slowly walk towards the provoker. He prefers to walk versus run, since it makes the anticipation so much worse. -He always checks in on the lee to make sure they're holding up okay. Fatherly instincts. (/lh) -Phil is always fondly smiling when tickling someone. -He uses his wings to tickle, obviously. If he's going to have a literal built in tickle tool, might as well use it. -Phil lets the lee snuggle into him after tickles, and he'll rub their back as they do to help calm them down.
