simple skincare routine (+ product recommendations based of skin types)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hi angels! skincare has been a big passion of mine since i was around twelve and began to develop some hormonal skincare issues. these really made me insecure and i still struggle with my skin. but being consistent and developing my routine, working out my skin type, eating with my skin as a focus and trial and error has got me to a place where im much much happier with my skin - and id love to share some tips and products with you!! remember your skin is exposed to so much and such a delicate part of your body, treat it with the love and respect it deserves. ˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
firstly: figuring out your skin type
im not exaggerating when i say the basis of a good skincare routine is knowing your skin type. it makes it easier to buy products, work out what your skin needs and how to achieve the look you want.
dermatologists agree that there are four skin types:
oily (skin produces more oils and sebum).
dry (produces less oils and sebum).
normal (produces a normal amount of oils and sebum).
combination (areas of skin which are dry and areas that are sebum heavy/oily).
so…
how do you work out your skin type?
well there are two easy at home methods!
watch and wait (requires cleanser): wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry. wait for half an hour or so and observe your skin. shiny all over = oily. tight and perhaps flaky = dry. shine in t zone = likely combination. hydrated and comfortable but not too oily = normal.
blotting sheet method (requires blotting sheets and cleanser): wash face with gentle cleanser, pat dry and waist for half an hour or so. press blotting sheets to chin, cheeks, forehead etc and examine the oil left on the sheets. lots of oil = oily. almost no oil/no oil = dry. oil mostly in t zone = combination. minimal all over face = normal.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
secondly: building a routine
now youve worked out what skin type you have it’s time to build a routine! i personally have combination skin that verges more on the dry side.
my am and pm skincare routines look like this…
am: cleanser, ice face, oil face and do gentle gua sha routine, moisturiser and spf. applying facial sanitising spray regularly throughout the day.
pm: double cleanse, ice face (only if feeling puffy/sore), moisturiser, 1 - 2 spot treatments and sanitise face.
am products:
cerave hydrating cleanser.
corsx moisturiser (great for dry and spot prone skin, little goes along way).
la roche posay spf 50+.
jojoba face oil.
vital baby face spray.
pm products:
la roche posay effclar duo.
avene hydrance aqua cream.
two over the counter spot treatments.
you may need to cleanse your face more/less, use less moisturiser etc. developing your skin care routine is through trial and error, just be observant of your skin and take notes on any effects or changes a product seems to have.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
thirdly: product recommendations
here’s a list of some product recommendations! some i have personally tried (they will be starred), others are popular ones based of your skin type loved by many.
cleansers
dry: cerave hydrating cleanser ⟡
oily: la roche posay effclar duo cleanser ⟡
combination: neutrogena skin balancing purifying gel cleanser
normal: paulas choice perfectly balanced foaming cleanser.
toner
dry: laneige cream skin toner
oily: body shop tea tree toner ⟡
combination: innisfree green tea toner
normal: la roche posay toner
moisturisers
dry: corsx moisturiser ⟡
oily: glow watermelon pink juice moisturiser
combination: byoma moisturising gel cream
normal: la roche posay cicaplast baume B5+ ⟡
spf
la roche posay spf 50+
black girl sunscreen
supergoop unseen sunscreen
˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
thank you for reading angels! feel free to give any skincare product recommendations or reviews. im planning on doing an in-depth personal skincare routine post soon. hopefully you enjoyed!!
love, m.

So, about the new BeruBara movie in detail. I rushed to watch it, because the visitor present was the above genga copy <333 Pretty amazing, because even the exhibition last summer did not have genga copies in the goods corner (aside from the very expensive ones). In this sense I consider the price of the ticket well spent. It is shrunken to A4 (from B4), so I can even use it in class. Until now I only had a B4 original and several B5/A3 copies, and it isn't convenient to bring those to the uni. Anyway, I hope they will announce the week 3 present soon. I'm not so keen on the Fersen-Antoinette genga next week, but I would get that if the others aren't genga anymore.
This was the good, now onto the bad. It was bad, I was oscillating between cringing and secondhand embarrassment for a good part of the movie. One of the reasons in kind of subjective, but the bigger reasons are objective. First about the subjective: I don't like musicals. I already suspected from the trailer that they might go into that direction, because the theme song screams "musical song™️." That song is so bad too, and it also showcases the typical "let's throw English phrases into the lyrics, because they sound cool" attitude. But the thing is, Berubara takes place in France ^^; Anyway, I guess they might have gone into this direction, because Berubara has been a longstanding success with Takarazuka. Also something I'm not touching with a ten-foot pole. I'm not sure how Takarazuka fans liked the movie, but from an anime perspective, it was weird. This isn't Disney, anime rarely crosses over into musical, and even those instances aren't successful (I don't mean idol series, that's something else). Even this movie isn't actually a full-fledged musical, often it's like image/character songs sung by the cast added for certain reasons. This latter is also questionable, not all of the cast are nice to listen to... (see singer vs. seiyuu made to sing). The opening/theme song resurfaces more than once, and it becomes ridiculous when the uprising Parisians start to sing the same song used to welcome Antoinette in the beginning in a different arrangement. The song inserts are often used to rush through or gloss over things, but I will come back to this later. The symbolism used in some of these scenes is a mess too: art nouveau motifs for a rococo story... or the underwater imagery ^^;;;
Now, about the objective faults. This is not a well-made anime:
Visually, there are some/several money shots, but otherwise the sakuga is a lackluster. They clearly did not have enough money to make it movie quality. The visual style of the manga is old-fashioned, seen as kind of cheesy, and it has its fair share of parodies. It was a question whether the anime can honor this style without turning into its own parody. I don't think it always succeeded, hence my secondhand embarrassment. The musical parts also used a lot of bank shots in the name of "memories," so I guess those were also meant to save money.
The biggest issue is, however, the narrative. You could already see in the trailer that they would cover the whole story. Seeing that Berubara is a 10+ volume long series with 30+ years passing in the story, the movie was... ambitious, to say the least. Unfortunately the movie did not succeed to make it a coherent story. I blame the director too, because even though I think such a approach was bound to fail, it could have been better even among these circumstances.
The movie feels like a summary, or maybe a highlights reel, and I'm afraid it isn't understandable to those who don't know the story beforehand. Quite often the scenes are disjointed without any transition. Many subplots are only visually mentioned, and not even spoken about: the Dubarry issue appears during an image song, the gambling-Polignac-necklace affair during a narration (not mentioned by name), Jeanne does not appear. Rosalie appears in one scene, Bernard as well. Bernard gets named, but you may wonder why, because he does not become important for the plot. Robespierre is a single image too. I think they could have completely erased these, if they were reducing them to these mentions. They kind of feel like sending a message to fans that yeah, we know there's more to the story, but we don't have time to deal with them, so here, have some bullet points. I would have preferred a coherent plot instead... Btw, he noble thief plot is erased, André loses his vision in a different way. Girodelle asking for Oscar's hand seems so out of the blue, like, who were you again? ^^; Fersen is also dropped after they get together with Antoinette (except for a moment mentioned below). It is really bewildering.
As a fan you know what happens in-between, but if you don't know the story, it is difficult to understand the whys and hows. Btw, one of the worst gloss-overs is the Oscar in a dress scene (see above genga). Based on the movie it is already difficult to see where those feeling came from, but when she starts to dance with Fersen it turns into an image song of the four mains, and the unsuspecting viewer has no idea what happened there ^^;;; As mentioned, the musical parts had many repetitions, and with so little time to unfold any plot, they felt a waste of the little available time.
The characters feel very superficial because of rushing through the plot. If you don't know the story, you can only ask why this or that happened. Like, when did Oscar develop feeling for Fersen? And then for André? And so on. There is no show, only tell, and often not even that. Antoinette also loses later character development, and seems to be the selfish queen the French people paint her as. The plot starts to become more coherent after Oscar leaves the court, but even though there is character development for her, most of the political issues that influence her earn barely a mention. So yeah, superficial.
The story ends at the storm of the Bastille (iykyk), and the rest of the history is only narrated in etching style. I would have loved anime style illustrations.
These were the main issues I can remember off the top of my head. I think making a single movie out of this long story was an impossible undertaking to begin with, but it also could have been way better than this. More money for quality animation would have been necessary, also a coherent plot with more nuanced characters.

Babylon 5 rewatch, S1 E8: And the Sky Full of Stars
IDK if it's how I'm watching it or what, but the lighting on B5 seems dimmer than I would expect in public spaces
Okay okay plot: guy needs money for shady reasons, other guys have Sinclair as a target for who knows what
Oh, it's not notable shady reasons, it's just a gambling problem
The guy with the longish gray hair that's going to do Something to Sinclair has a very 90s energy, I can't define it but it's so notable
I like Dr. Franklin and Delenn's scene here with the practicality of getting information about other species brought up.
Yeah Delenn what DID you do during the war?
The design of that weird chair is good, I definitely believe that they built it out of smuggled in pieces and that it's going to be used for nefarious purposes
Ignoring the plot to wonder about Sinclair's kitchen area not appearing to have a sink or any appliances (I know it's just a set but I think about trying to redesign my tiny apartment kitchen a lot)
Sinclair is in the Torment Nexus
At least it's hard for the commander of an entire space station to disappear without notice
Of course it's a simulation that's what happens to guys in charge of space stations/starships, other weird guys show up to fuck with your head. Notable employment hazard.
Sinclair's Mysterious Day! Yesss let's find out about it (shame the exposition has to come through the Torment Nexus)
Sinclair is 39...I guess that makes sense. (Maybe I just know so many people in that age group with so much less responsibility.)
The angelfish-looking Minbari ships <3
If you believe in yourself you can punch your way out of the mind prison (I mean...it didn't work yet, but it might)
I think B5 as a show does well with naming things. I mean, maybe it's just familiarity at his point, but the Battle of the Line is simple, evocative, and IMO gives you an idea of what it was about
Goodbye Benson we hardly knew ye
Yeah where exactly are these "Knights" from?
I think the guy playing the interrogator would be great to see on stage.
Another human supremacist conspiracy theorist, boooo
"Maybe the universe blinked" I do like that line
"There is a hole in your mind" that was from the pilot movie we missed on the rewatch schedule, wasn't it?
:D :D :D (my reaction to the triluminary [did I remember that correctly?] appearing)
I know who that waaaaaaaas
YES you CAN punch your way out of the mind prison if you love your station enough
Delenn we (the audience) still want MANY more answers about what you were doing during the war
I have a feeling this guy is going to be interrogated by psycops as soon as he gets back to Earth
Secrettsssssss I love this dynamic though
It's an interesting 90s thing that Sinclair is comfortable making a electronic/digital recording of this EXTREMELY sensitive information, these days my perspective is if you want it to be secret it's on paper hidden in your mattress or something

The second stage is the self realisation and awareness that something is wrong with a refusal to accept that. More effort is made to remember so memories can be more long form with a little more deterioration in quality. The overall personal mood is generally lower than the first stage and it a point before confusion starts setting in.

I rarely send asks for ask games but it make me smile that in the character poll none of the characters I associate with you was an option! Also I never knew you liked B5 but obviously you have great taste.
I actively tried to not choose the characters/fandoms I feel like the most people follow me for (hilariously, I thought putting Weevil from Veronica Mars on there was maybe ruining that plan, but then he was almost the lowest result) so as to make it not "Do more Janeway/Chakotay fans follow me or more Jaime/Brienne fans?"
And yes! Babylon 5 is amazing and deserves more love. Early on in my relationship with my (now) husband, he insisted that I needed to watch it, for which I am really thankful. What a fantastic, ahead of its time, show, which really suffered from people (including me) just thinking it was knock off Star Trek when it first aired. Such a rich, complicated, nuanced beautiful epic show. I can't even decide on a favorite story arc because there are so many good ones.

B5 s03e06: Dust to Dust table of contents • previous episode
Lame that there are so many insubordinate soldiers under Sheridan's command!
Bester, my best guy <3 This should be a delightfully creepy episode! Psi horror! I love him so much. His threatening vibe is sooo gooood. Hope Lyta stays safe!
Did Stop Falling On Me guy just do a murder?
The new opener is so good. Maybe because I always watch this show high, but it is so excellent.
Casually discussing my best guy's murder! I will be fair to them. Bester is a murder-danger-level threat. But he's also the war criminal who has my heart. I want to squish him. Like a stuffed animal.
Vir! And awww, don't be mean to him, Londo! His Minbari robe of welcoming looks much more comfortable than Centauri clothes.
Londo: "Do they speak of me often?" Vir: "Only behind closed doors."
lmao?? I can't believe that only a season ago I was fully "meh" on Vir, and now I would kill for him ^_^
Telepathy accident? Strange. I like strange medical mysteries, but B5's seem to tend to be extra tragic. I don't trust 'em not to be tearjerkers.
Oh my goddddd. Is Susan about to murder Bester with the station? She was! but for Sheridan's interference. tsk. well, probably the rational choice. But I support Susan Ivanova no matter what.
lol Bester, being hit with a feeling of strong personal danger. I should say so!
Delenn's non-murder solution is blocking Bester with Minbari telepaths! This must be so unexpected for Bester. And it is also unexpected for me! Delenn has this kind of pull still? Or again? I love that for her. However, it does tell Bester that they know things they're lowkey desperate to keep him from knowing. Hope that doesn't come back to bite them later!
What a good set-down by Sheridan. Doesn't faze Bester a bit, though!
Dissection of Talia? Fuck thaaaat. And Susan stays so cool! She's so badass, damn. And right after her murder attempt was thwarted. She has iron emotional control.
Bester: "You choose not to trust me. That's sad. And unfortunate. But unlike the rest of you, I have no intention of letting it get in the way of my work. Doctor. Trust, Captain. You should try it some time. The [telepathy inhibiting] drug requires three hours to take effect. See you in four. Perhaps then you'll all be a little less hysterical, and little more productive. I'm here to save your butts! Next time: show a little gratitude." Dr Franklin: "On the other hand, maybe wounding him isn't such a bad idea after all."
Lol!! I love Bester so much. He's such a pragmatist!! And it certainly got the point across that he's here to cooperate over a case.
The Drazi seem to be occupying a similar sociopolitical niche in the show as the late Markab. Which gives me concerns for their long term prospective. Regardless, good for them, giving Londo and Centauri a hard time. Especially since Londo can't help but be a dick to the Drazi and the Narn on the way out.
Vir has gained much confidence while he's been away. And he likes Minbar and his new assignment! He deserves some appreciation and respect.
Awww Lennier, that's such a gentle denial for Vir's request that Londo visit Minbar for a mental health vacation. Is it just me, or is Lennier really developing a shiny backbone? He's come so far from the hyper-sheltered religious acolyte, and I'm glad he hasn't lost any of the stars in his eyes about Delenn. She is that cool. Vir has astonishing faith in Londo's goodness. I hope he's right one of these days!
This is a reasonable request for cooperative behavior. Bester wants help tracking this drug which allows for a high degree of mental assault with a high for the perpetrator, which usually permanently incapacitates the victim if they are also a telepath. sounds like someone's gonna use it in war!
This person selling it to G'Kar says it turns the user into a telepath and lets them directly experience the life of the target. But it might not work on Narns. More Narnuan lore! There used to be Narn telepaths, but they were "exterminated." Brutal. By the Shadows, I wonder, or perhaps the Centauri?
If G'Kar ends up a telepath, that was not on my season 3 bingo card!
Bester's giving a "there are existential horrors you never have to worry about because we take care of them before anyone knows they exist," and it's downright unnerving. How many chill-ass folks have they taken out for fear of what they could be capable of?
G'Kar's No Good Very Bad Acid Trip does seem to be coming with some sort of mental abilities, though not particularly controllable. And since it works on people who aren't telepaths, but turns on a telepathy gene (in humans), does it also turn every human who uses it into an active telepath? That'd be a huge reason for PsiCorps to want to contain it.
Garibaldi working with Bester is highly effective and very extralegal, what with all the threats and civil rights violations. He's a bad influence on Garibaldi. He's already too inclined to threaten civilians, he doesn't need any encouragement of Bester's type.
Even though Garibaldi argues with Bester about it later, he still goes right along with it while their detainee was present. Bad! Influence!
Bester: "The badge and the uniform do have certain advantages." Garibaldi: "Like intimidation?" Bester: "Absolutely. Just like your badge, and your uniform."
Exactly!! Love me a self aware villain.
Londo arranged for Vir to be appointed the Ambassador to Minbar because he didn't trust him. Didn't trust him to keep himself intact in Centauri's political climate, didn't trust him to make wise decisions for himself, and wanted to send him somewhere safe. And now he isn't trusting Vir's assessment that the Minbari are trustworthy potential allies. That's sad for Londo. He'd be making much better decisions if he would take Vir's advice.
Go G'Kar, go! Fulfill Londo's death dream! One can dream.
Bester my sassy, amoral little guy. <3 His snark is such a good mixture of strangely wise, self-aware, inane, and troubling.
Their fascist sonic weapon crowd control devices are super effective. At least they didn't use them on the Dockworkers Union, but that's a small at least. Don't like knowing they exist in universe. Statistically, now that they've been introduced, they're going to be used to commit horrible war crimes.
Oh...I was so caught up in the euphoria of G'Kar potentially strangling Londo that I quite forgot about the Narn telepathy subplot. Well. Go G'Kar, go, anyway. I also support his telepathy plot. Good keeping it together while very disorientingly drugged! He might pull it off, except I'd be surprised if Londo knows anything of particular value.
And he has so much more clarity inside Londo's mind! Compelling! Get him! Collaborating with Morden and the Shadows! Seeing the fuckin evil that Londo arranged on fucking purpose! It's meaningful for G'Kar to know, but like....with no proof will it do G'Kar any good?
Interesting that G'Kar had far more control than the drug guy suggested, able to target memories and types of knowledge, before absorbing all of Londo's life.
Oh, grim. G'Kar's vision of his father and another Narnuan elder is a type of sorrowful that feels so extra heavy today.
Is...G'Kar having a vision of Kosh?? Oh damn! Kosh is making moves while G'Kar trips hard! If that was Kosh, the voice is very different.
I really. Really wanna give G'Kar a nice warm robe, and a vacation. And some rest. And a cute little roast animal for him to eat, snoot-first.
Surprisingly soft interaction between Vir and Londo in the medbay.
Disappointed this went to trial! Let G'Kar Assault Centauri And Particularly Londo Mollari!
At least it's only 60 days in prison, I guess? I don't trust Babylon 5 prisons not to be horrific.
Vir's hair is less cresty then usual, I feel. Or is somehow Differently Shaped.
Hmmm. And some advice from Londo that's somewhat decent. When he chooses to use his brain, it works sorta ok.
Bester says the Dust didn't work! Didn't produce one telepath of a reasonable strength! Go G'Kar, go! Of course PsiCorps was responsible for it.
I really would not have guessed New Telepaths, Particularly G'Kar as a plot point in B5! I guess they sorta primed the pump with metamorphosing Matt Stoner's telepathy to empathy, elevating Jason Ironheart to a telekinetic high order being, and the other general mind fuckery, but that's cool! And I can't wait to see what they do with it.
Overall, exactly what I've come to expect from a Bester episodes. And I love G'Kar, so I love this for him. And more Narnuan lore! I also enjoy that a lot.
next!

May I present: An argument for why my WoTshow friends may enjoy watching Babylon 5
As we settle in to wait 2 years for more content, a tale as old as time, I realize that some of you may not have seen Babylon 5. And I also realized recently that there is a surprising amount of overlap between the two of them. So, here are my arguments as to why you should give Babylon 5 (Known henceforth as B5 in perpetuity) a shot if you've not watched it before, or maybe tried a long time ago and bounced maybe try it again. Presented in no particular order. World Building: I hear you like worldbuilding. Boy HOWDY does B5 have world building. Everything is built up from the get go. There will be important plot relevant events happening in the final season that directly are caused or effected by events in the first season. And at no point does it feel like "Hey, I hear you like thing. Remember thing? Here's thing!" Everything feels like a natural extension of something that came before. And given that it was made in a time when everything was made for syndication, this is a very tough line to balance, but they manage. Things are pretty real for a sci-fi show: Things don't always just get wrapped up in a nice clean package. Wars may end but they have consequences. Both personal and geopolitical. Iconic Duos: We've all seen the joke about "Name a more iconic duo than the wondergirls and TBI", but I kinda always say "Londo and G'kar" in my head. I don't say it out loud cause I don't want to ruin a good joke, but still. This series has a lot of quite powerful relationships between people that run the gamut of tropes and a few extra sprinkled in.
Stage Show: In many ways the tv show plays out and feels a lot more like a stage production. Considering a lot of the actors also did a lot of stage work, this makes sense. Sci-fi as an art choice and not a crutch: Star Trek has the whole hopeful future sci-fi thing going for it, where the point of the setting is to remove the characters from us, so they can examine cultures relevant to the viewer at a removed step. Star Wars uses it's sci-fi setting as a way to make it Totally And Meaningfully Distinct From Dirty Fantasy Movies, and almost seems embarrassed by it's sci-fi parts sometimes. B5 rides the line between them. There is very little techno-babble in the show. But the aliens feel really alien in a way that almost every other sci-fi property misses. And while, yes you could easily make it a fantasy age of sail story by making remarkably few changes, it still works as it's own thing. Still tackles real life: There are things that are so relevant today that people are still referencing the show to events that happen now. It's a very strange dichotomy where the show looks so 90s, in it's set design and it's CGI, it just screams "Dated tv show". But the content itself is timeless. Anyway I hope you find the show as compelling as I still do, or at the very least it fills some time while we wait for S3 of WoT show. Also to anyone who read this from the B5 tag, you should watch WoT for a lot of the same reasons I just listed. :D Edit Edit: WotShow = The Wheel of Time on amazon Prime.

It's weird to think about how we are living in a time of comparative abundance in terms of depiction of queer people. Just for fun, here are the characters that my child self looked upon with incomprehensible yet definite feelings:
Tumblr media
Obviously. Need I say more. This show has a lot of lingering shots of Xena strapping on her armor (or at least, my memory of it does).
Tumblr media
I don't know how many people remember Babylon 5? I watched it as it was airing. Wonderful show. Absolute 90s time capsule but also well ahead of its time in many ways. Susan Ivanova (left) was one of the first textually queer women I saw depicted, I think? She was involved with Talia Winters (right) in the first season. Definite recognition of the self for child me.
Tumblr media
Also from B5, Lyta Alexander was the character I looked upon with incomprehensible yearning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sarah Kerrigan was so cool when she was all gross and evil. I wanted her to succeed over the boring space marines. Also, amazing graphics. Somehow I was able to glean enough from that blocky sprite to have thoughts.
Tumblr media
Tragically these horses are heterosexual. Nonetheless, I watched this adaptation of Black Beauty hundreds of times and absolutely understood the titular horse's obsession with Ginger (left). I'm not going to touch the fact that they're horses.

saw the D&D movie last night and that was fucking delightful
then read the reviews and
a) I’mma hunt down all the critics who said mean things about it. how do you dislike joy
b) stop comparing everything to marvel. a fantasy teamup action/comedy does not a marvel movie make
b1) also like, marvel movies feel like they were written by committee. this just feels like it was made with love
b2) turns out there were so many D&D references in this that went over my head and you know what it was fine. whereas marvel u can’t watch anymore unless you’ve watched all the previous ones bc they’re getting so self-referential
b3) seriously there are things other than marvel
b4) like tabletop rpgs. go play some and make up some wonderful original stories
b5) get back to me when you and a team of people have made a story with wonderful emotion and heart
b6) cos like, there are things other than marvel. things that spark joy
c) this movie sparked a lot of joy for me
d) can we get more like this? stuff that captures the zany fun of making up stories as a collaboration?
d2) please?
e) I miss tabletop rpg
e2) if anyone needs a player, I’m available *eyes emoji*
f) in the meantime, just gonna bask in the joy that is this movie

I was a Babylon 5 fan in the beginning, and all the way through until the end. This was back in the age where a sci-fi show could be openly science fiction (well, until the whole thing with Crusade happened) and also tell a complete story from beginning to end.
Like many fans, I was cautiously optimistic about The Road Home. More B5! After so many years! And JMS is attached to the project! All these things gave me hope despite the fucking hellscape that modern media has become.
And yeah. It was... not good. It really felt like a fan film, and not a terribly good one. Every scene feels like a first take, there are so many weird little errors that are glaringly obvious to fans of the show, and so many of the characters feel completely off.
I get that most of the original cast has passed, so it's not going to be exactly the same, but absolutely no effort was put into this. There's no polish or care in it. If I hadn't checked IMDB for the cast list, I would have sworn this was a test to see if AI could write and voice the characters.
I am positive that it only exists to set up a new status quo for a reboot. It's an 80min parable of the power of love that ends with an alternate timeline with the core characters back on B5.
And boy am I not feeling it.
If you were a fan of the original Babylon 5 and you value your lives, watch something else.

3, 8, 10 for the salty asks!
Thank you for the asks! <3
3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
Not for an opinion about the fandom's source material, but I have unfollowed someone (actually...two someones) for their take on a pairing that felt exceptionally angsty (almost cruel) and a little OOC. They also would start a fic with a great premise, draw out the angst with no end goal in mind, then abandon that and move on to a new fic to start the angst cycle again. I'm not saying a writer can't do that, but for my own sanity I had to unfollow. I didn't tell them and I doubt they noticed, which is as it should be. Everyone is free to right what they like.
Also, similar to your answer, if someone is spewing hate or tearing down others in the fandom, that's an unfollow for me and probably a block, but I can't think of a time when that's happened. I don't follow that many people (because I can't keep up with my feed) so I usually feel confident that the person I'm following isn't going to be a dick.
8. Have you received anon hate? What about?*
No, never anon. I did get a guest comment a few months ago (logged out but they left their ao3 name?) that I'm pretty sure was a troll. They asked (on a completed fic that is years old) when I'd be adding a rape scene. 🤷‍♀️ I blocked them and moved on.
10. Most disliked arc? Why?
The Telepath War in B5 s5 Who said that? 😂
I was trying to think of a more relevant fandom. I really didn't like the Civil War arc in the Marvel Comics (or MCU for that matter). I read that prior to the movies coming out and I was just so pissed off at Tony and everyone who sided with the Superhero Registration Act. Ironically, I then really grew to like Tony Stark as a character because of the Iron Man movies and then got to get mad all over again when CA: Civil War came out.
As to why, it frustrated me that the superheros who sided with it didn't seem to understand the danger in giving the government that much control. I understood what the MCU's take on it was trying to say: that superheroes without oversight can level whole cities and get away with it. Maybe the comics made the same point but I read them a long time ago so the MCU stuff is more clear and I believe in and side with Steve: What happens when the government says they can't go help someone? Are they just supposed to watch people in need suffer?
I said this in your post but very much agree with your thoughts on Aziraphale's return to heaven arc and Scully + pregnancy.
Oh! I thought of another but I can't actually remember the details? XD I really enjoyed the Fables comics up to a point but I remember something happened (I think with Bigby) and I got really annoyed and stopped reading. So whatever that arc was that I stopped reading at, lol.

Hello. It's (almost) the end of the year, and, like many people, I would like to make a recap of things that happened.
This year... wasn't great. One of the worst years of my life so far. I had to seek refuge from war because some crazy land neighbours decided that instead of developing their own culture, it's better to commit genocide of another culture... for the billionth time.
It's not easy falling asleep, knowing that roughly 140 million people wish me dead based only on my nationality. But even more uneasy falling asleep, knowing all the horrors happening in occupied areas. Knowing, that russians have no valuable goal, coming here to steal washing machines, microwaves, other tech, and to rape women and children.
It sickens me to the bone, seeing how, knowing all of this, some people still see Ukrainians and Russians as "brothers that quarrel all the time", while russians always tried to destroy our culture and language, and do it again now. (Take Executed Renaissance, one of the brightest examples of that– https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executed_Renaissance (page in English); https://uk.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A0%D0%BE%D0%B7%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BB%D1%8F%D0%BD%D0%B5_%D0%B2%D1%96%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8F (page in Ukrainian in case you're feeling like Google translating it, because there is SO much more information))
My grandma was a victim of one of many holodomors (голод+мор from Ukrainian hunger+death, death by hunger).
Things they did were horrifying.
It angers me incredibly, seeing how some artists still think it's perfectly fine, adding russian language/translation/characters to their content. I just want to ask "who are you making this for and why? Do you know what most of russians do now?"
Just so we're clear, I give everyone I see a chance. I've seen russians that were absolutely horrified and strongly disagree with what their government does: a russian helped us here with giving some stuff for my younger sister, which I am very grateful for. I've seen russians who learn Ukrainian to watch content that is made in Ukrainian. I've seen russians who strike and destroy valuable offices. People who really wish for a change and do something to make it happen. Because just wishing for a change and doing nothing is supporting the horrible actions. I don't earn much money, but when i do, i donate half of it to the Ukrainian army. I wish for a change, and I do something to make it happen.
If you want to help, I personally donate here=> https://savelife.in.ua/en/donate-en/#donate-army-card-monthly
If you don't have the ability to help monetarily, then simply spreading the word is also great help. Even if you don't have a ton of followers, a share pushes posts with valuable info up in the algorithm.
If you have a question "you already told us about this, why don't you shut up already!?"
I will not shut up until the war stops.
It chased me out of my home, into the environment where people think it's fun to mock someone who just lost almost everything they ever had (globally speaking, in my town's schools Ukrainian children are being mocked on the daily, and that's only the info i got in my town, i have no idea what's happening in other towns and lands). And we're the ones who are having it easy. We kept our limbs and lives. Many people, many children, were not that lucky.
And it is the most horrifying thing i have ever witnessed, and will witness in my life.
I really hope your year was much better that mine.
Stay safe

You said to ask however many I wanted for the yakuza ask game so!!
A8, B1, B4, B5, C5, C11, D9, F3
sweet! I just answered B1 so I'll skip that (especially cause it was already a hard question lol)
A8) Favorite song(s)?
Zetsubouchou Pride is my fave karaoke song, Ichibanka is SO good, and I love most Receive Yous but Receive and Bite You is my fave of those
B4) Who would you like to post more about but you don’t? Why don’t you?
<Banging my fists on the table> I want more Yasuko!! I want Yasuko content from other people! I've written just a teeny tiny bit of her but I really do love her as a character, and I do intend to expand on the Yasuko content in the world once I finish the behemoth that is The Devil He Knows
B5) Which character do you think you would bump heads with most if you knew them in real life?
Discounting the villains, if I had to work with Akiyama I would strangle him.
C5) Which character would you like to see as an antagonist?
Oh it would shatter me into a million emotional pieces but we've had protag Saejima fighting Majima, so let's have a protag Majima fighting Saejima.
C11) Which character has the best taste in clothing? Who has the worst?
MAJIMA. He has the trans masc swag. I also love Zhao's look. Special mention to Kido also, I love both his goon jacket and his Evil Suit. I wish I actually knew what Saejima's taste in clothes is, because he literally just wears whatever is required or given to him, and never changes. Akiyama has the worst taste for shilling a very ugly watch.
D9) Any hot takes?
Park inspired no strong feelings in me. Y4 has more coherency to its story than Y5, also rubber bullets is not some horribly written ass-pull thing Hamazaki is just as down bad for Saejima as the rest of that man's kyoudai.
F3) Who are you inviting to karaoke?
Any combination of Majima/Saejima/Kiryu 🥺👉👈 but if I just get one then probably Saejima because I would run out of energy long before Majima and he seems like he'd be more laid back about it

Jon ‘One Eye’ & Sansa Stark
In this meta I will try to point out the clues of Jon’s death- warging into his direwolf- coming back to life process.
Our main hint is going to be : ONE EYE motifs...
And interestingly this hint is always close to Sansa...
[Most of these clues etc have been already examined by many people but I will try to put them all in order to show the pattern..]
Tumblr media
A GAME OF THRONES:
Waymar Royce
Waymar Royce appearence and story are very similar with Jon’s.
They look similar:
Ser Waymar Royce was the youngest son of an ancient house with too many heirs. He was a handsome youth of eighteen, grey-eyed and graceful and slender as a knife.
[AGOT; Prologue]
Jon’s eyes were a grey so dark they seemed almost black, but there was little they did not see. He was of an age with Robb, but they did not look alike. Jon was slender where Robb was muscular, dark where Robb was fair, graceful and quick where his half brother was strong and fast.
[AGOT; Bran I]
They are both young men of Night’s Watch but they were not very welcomed by their other black brothers:
His cloak was his crowning glory; sable, thick and black and soft as sin. “Bet he killed them all himself, he did,” Gared told the barracks over wine, “twisted their little heads off, our mighty warrior.” They had all shared the laugh. It is hard to take orders from a man you laughed at in your cups, Will reflected as he sat shivering atop his garron. Gared must have felt the same.
[AGOT; Prologue]
“Yes, life,” Noye said. “A long life or a short one, it’s up to you, Snow. The road you’re walking, one of your brothers will slit your throat for you one night.” “They’re not my brothers,” Jon snapped. “They hate me because I’m better than they are.” “No. They hate you because you act like you’re better than they are. They look at you and see a castle-bred bastard who thinks he’s a lordling.” The armorer leaned close. “You’re no lordling. Remember that. You’re a Snow, not a Stark. You’re a bastard and a bully.”
[AGOT; Jon III]
Others are a very important part of Jon’s arc and story and Waymar meets with them in Prologue:
Ser Waymar met him bravely. “Dance with me then.” He lifted his sword high over his head, defiant. His hands trembled from the weight of it, or perhaps from the cold. Yet in that moment, Will thought, he was a boy no longer, but a man of the Night’s Watch.
[AGOT; Prologue]
Tumblr media
This phrase also reminds us Jon:
It is more than impatience, Jon realized. They are afraid. Warriors, spearwives, raiders, they are frightened of those woods, of shadows moving through the trees. They want to put the Wall between them before the night descends.
A snowflake danced upon the air. Then another. Dance with me, Jon Snow, he thought. You’ll dance with me anon.
[ADWD; Jon XII]
In Prologue, Waymar gets killed by Others:
Royce’s body lay facedown in the snow, one arm out-flung. The thick sable cloak had been slashed in a dozen places. Lying dead like that, you saw how young he was. A boy.
[AGOT; Prologue]
And Jon dies in ADWD:
Jon fell to his knees. He found the dagger’s hilt and wrenched it free. In the cold night air the wound was smoking. “Ghost,” he whispered. Pain washed over him. Stick them with the pointy end. When the third dagger took him between the shoulder blades, he gave a grunt and fell face-first into the snow. He never felt the fourth knife. Only the cold …
[ADWD; Jon XIII]
But Waymar comes back to life as a wight with ‘ONE EYE’:
Will rose. Ser Waymar Royce stood over him. His fine clothes were a tatter, his face a ruin. A shard from his sword transfixed the blind white pupil of his left eye. The right eye was open. The pupil burned blue. It saw.
[AGOT; Prologue]
Tumblr media
So: A young man of Night’s Watch who looks like Jon dies and comes back to life with ONE EYE.
Let’s continue with the second book...
A CLASH OF KINGS:
Orell
Orell is Wildling who is also a skinchanger. His animal is an EAGLE.
Jon kills Orell in ACOK; Jon VI:
Jon nodded toward the one by the fire. It felt queer, picking a man to kill.
[...]
Jon’s man leapt to his feet, thrusting at his face with a burning brand. He could feel the heat of the flames as he flinched back. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the sleeper stirring, and knew he must finish his man quick. When the brand swung again, he bulled into it, swinging the bastard sword with both hands. The Valyrian steel sheared through leather, fur, wool, and flesh, but when the wildling fell he twisted, ripping the sword from Jon’s grasp.
[...]
“You ought to burn them you killed,” said Ygritte.
[ACOK; Jon VI]
But due to the magic of skinchanging, a portion of Orell’s consciousness remained in the eagle, which developed a fierce hatred for Jon.
And in ACOK; Jon VII he dreams of an eagle attacking him and people talk about vargs and skinchangers:
Then a sudden gust of cold made his fur stand up, and the air thrilled to the sound of wings. As he lifted his eyes to the ice-white mountain heights above, a shadow plummeted out of the sky. A shrill scream split the air. He glimpsed blue-grey pinions spread wide, shutting out the sun… “Ghost!” Jon shouted, sitting up. He could still feel the talons, the pain. “Ghost, to me!” Ebben appeared, grabbed him, shook him. “Quiet! You mean to bring the wildlings down on us? What’s wrong with you, boy?” “A dream,” said Jon feebly. “I was Ghost, I was on the edge of the mountain looking down on a frozen river, and something attacked me. A bird… an eagle, I think…”
[...]
“Skinchanger?” said Ebben grimly, looking at the Halfhand. Does he mean the eagle? Jon wondered. Or me? Skinchangers and wargs belonged in Old Nan’s stories, not in the world he had lived in all his life. Yet here, in this strange bleak wilderness of rock and ice, it was not hard to believe.
[ACOK; Jon VII]
So: There is a skinchanger who dies because of Jon but a part of him keeps living in his animal: eagle.
Tumblr media
The interesting thing is that between these two Jon chapters (Orell and eagle dream) comes a very important Sansa chapter which has many parallels with Jon VI chapter...
Tumblr media
An example of parallels:
[…] ‘All I ask is a flower,’ Bael answered, ‘the fairest flower that blooms in the gardens o’ Winterfell.”
“Now as it happened the winter roses had only then come into bloom, and no flower is so rare nor precious…
[ACOK; Jon VI]
Sansa lowered her head. “The blood frightened me.”
“The blood is the seal of your womanhood. Lady Catelyn might have prepared you. You’ve had your first flowering, no more.”
Sansa had never felt less flowery. “My lady mother told me, but I… I thought it would be different.”
[ACOK; Sansa IV]

In this chapter Sansa says she wants to be loved and Cersei warns her that “love kills too...” Next chapter is Jon with his eagle dreams and warging abilities:
A half smile flickered across the queen’s face. “[…]Robert wanted to be loved. My brother Tyrion has the same disease. Do you want to be loved, Sansa?”
“Everyone wants to be loved.”
“I see flowering hasn’t made you any brighter,” said Cersei. “Sansa, permit me to share a bit of womanly wisdom with you on this very special day. Love is poison. A sweet poison, yes, but it will kill you all the same.”
[ACOK; Sansa IV]
Let’s move on to third book...
A STORM OF SWORDS:
Orell and Wargs
In ASOS; Jon I, we learn the name of the Wildling that Jon has killed in ACOK; Jon VI:
“He slew Qhorin Halfhand,” said Longspear Ryk. “Him and that wolf o’ his.”
“And did for Orell too,” said Rattleshirt.
“The lad’s a warg, or close enough,” put in Ragwyle, the big spearwife. “His wolf took a piece o’ Halfhand’s leg.”
[...]
“What’s this?” he said. “A crow?”
“The black bastard what gutted Orell,” said Rattleshirt, “and a bloody warg as well.”
“You were to kill them all.”
“This one come over,” explained Ygritte. “He slew Qhorin Halfhand with his own hand.”
[ASOS; Jon I]
This Jon chapter comes after ASOS; Sansa I.
And these chapters have many parallels such as:
Tumblr media
Sansa knelt at the feet of her future queen. “You do me great honor, Your Grace.” “Won’t you call me Margaery? Please, rise. Loras, help the Lady Sansa to her feet. Might I call you Sansa?”
[ASOS; Sansa I]
“I would be pleased to eat, Your Grace. And thank you.”
“Your Grace?” The king smiled. “That’s not a style one often hears from the lips of the free folk. I’m Mance to most, The Mance to some. Will you take a horn of mead?”
[ASOS; Jon I]
For more, please check: Jonsa Book Hints: C1
We also learn about Sansa’s new betrothed: Willas Tyrell..
Willas has a bad leg and so does Jon, in ASOS:
“Willas has a bad leg but a good heart,” said Margaery. “He used to read to me when I was a little girl, and draw me pictures of the stars. You will love him as much as we do, Sansa.”
[ASOS; Sansa I]
If the mare had gone down, he would have been doomed. “A lucky thing my leg got in the way,” he muttered.
He rested for a while to let the horse graze. She did not wander far. That was good. Hobbled with a bad leg, he could never have caught her.
[ASOS; Jon V]
Let’s keep reading...
In ASOS; Jon II chapter Jon’s eagle dream from ACOK comes true and Orell’s eagle attacks Jon’s eye:
He could still hear wings, though the eagle was not in sight. Half his world was black. “My eye,” he said in sudden panic, raising a hand to his face.
“It’s only blood, Jon Snow. He missed the eye, just ripped your skin up some.”
[…]
Can a bird hate? Jon had slain the wilding Orell, but some part of the man remained within the eagle. The golden eyes looked out on him with cold malevolence.
[…]
I will need to get this tended, he thought, but not just now. Let the King-beyond-the-Wall see what his eagle did to me.
[…]
The look Mance gave Jon was grim and cold. “What happened to your face?”
Ygritte said, “Orell tried to take his eye out.”
“It was him I asked. Has he lost his tongue? Perhaps he should, to spare us further lies.”
Styr the Magnar drew a long knife. “The boy might see more clear with one eye, instead of two.”
“Would you like to keep your eye, Jon?” asked the King-beyond-the-Wall. “If so, tell me how many they were. And try and speak the truth this time, Bastard of Winterfell.”
Jon’s throat was dry. “My lord… what…”
[ASOS; Jon II]
Tumblr media
Jon almosts loses his ‘one eye’ and becomes Jon ‘One Eye’ Snow because of this attack..
After this eagle attack Jon chapter comes ASOS; Sansa II
Tumblr media
And these chapters have many parallels such as:
Jon wheeled and followed Tormund back toward the head of the column, his new cloak hanging heavy from his shoulders. It was made of unwashed sheepskins, worn fleece side in, as the wildlings suggested.
[…]
“I wear the cloak you gave me, Your Grace.”
[ASOS; Jon II]
A new gown?” she said, as wary as she was astonished.
“More lovely than any you have worn, my lady,” the old woman promised. She measured Sansa’s hips with a length of knotted string. “All silk and Myrish lace, with satin linings. You will be very beautiful. The queen herself has commanded it.”
“Which queen?” Margaery was not yet Joff’s queen, but she had been Renly’s. Or did she mean the Queen of Thorns? Or…“The Queen Regent, to be sure.”
[ASOS; Sansa II]
For more, please check: Jonsa Book Hints: C2
And after the chapter of an eagle attacks Jon’s eye we learn in next chapter that Sansa’s betrothed Willas Tyrell flies EAGLES:
“Willas has the best birds in the Seven Kingdoms,” Margaery said when the two of them were briefly alone. “He flies an eagle sometimes. You will see, Sansa.”
[ASOS; Sansa II]
Tumblr media
Why is Almost One Eye Jon and Sansa Stark being near to each other important?
Because the first Sansa Stark in Stark family tree was married with her half-uncle Jonnel ‘One Eye’ Stark:
Tumblr media
So another Sansa being close to another Stark family member who almost had lost his one eye sounds interesting.
Well, Jon didn’t lose his eye but his face got scarred:
He had almost forgotten about his face. “A skinchanger tried to rip out my eye.”
Noye frowned. “Scarred or smooth, it’s a face I thought I’d seen the last of. We heard you’d gone over to Mance Rayder.”
[ASOS; Jon VI]
Who else has a scarred face? Sansa’s husband- Tyrion Lannister:
“I like your scar.” She traced it with her finger. “It makes you look very fierce and strong.”
He laughed. “Very ugly, you mean.”
“M’lord will never be ugly in my eyes.” She kissed the scab that covered the ragged stub of his nose.
[ASOS; Tyrion II]
Tumblr media
Varamyr
What happens to this eagle later?
Tumblr media
Skinchanger, Varamyr Sixskins, takes control of Orell’s eagle. Varamyr uses the eagle to scout Castle Black and spots Stannis Baratheon’s arrival at the Wall.
The eagle bursts into flames during the attack on Castle Black with Melisandre claiming she was responsible.
The skinchanger was grey-faced, round-shouldered, and bald, a mouse of a man with a wolfling’s eyes. “Once a horse is broken to the saddle, any man can mount him,” he said in a soft voice. “Once a beast’s been joined to a man, any skinchanger can slip inside and ride him. Orell was withering inside his feathers, so I took the eagle for my own. But the joining works both ways, warg. Orell lives inside me now, whispering how much he hates you. And I can soar above the Wall, and see with eagle eyes.”
[...]
“Banners,” he heard Varamyr murmur, “I see golden banners, oh . . .” A mammoth lumbered by, trumpeting, a half-dozen bowmen in the wooden tower on its back. “The king . . . no . . .”
Then the skinchanger threw back his head and screamed. The sound was shocking, ear-piercing, thick with agony. Varamyr fell, writhing, and the ’cat was screaming too.... and high, high in the eastern sky, against the wall of cloud, Jon saw the eagle burning. For a heartbeat it flamed brighter than a star, wreathed in red and gold and orange, its wings beating wildly at the air as if it could fly from the pain. Higher it flew, and higher, and higher still.
[ASOS; Jon X]
Melisandre burns the eagle. Who else got burned in the books?
Jon Snow in AGOT:
He had burned himself more badly than he knew throwing the flaming drapes, and his right hand was swathed in silk halfway to the elbow. At the time he’d felt nothing; the agony had come after.
[AGOT; Jon VIII]
Tumblr media
And Jon burns himself in AGOT; Jon VII:
Jon tried to shout, but his voice was gone. Staggering to his feet, he kicked the arm away and snatched the lamp from the Old Bear’s fingers. The flame flickered and almost died. “Burn!” the raven cawed. “Burn, burn, burn!”
Spinning, Jon saw the drapes he’d ripped from the window. He flung the lamp into the puddled cloth with both hands. Metal crunched, glass shattered, oil spewed, and the hangings went up in a great whoosh of flame. The heat of it on his face was sweeter than any kiss Jon had ever known. “Ghost!” he shouted.
The direwolf wrenched free and came to him as the wight struggled to rise, dark snakes spilling from the great wound in its belly. Jon plunged his hand into the flames, grabbed a fistful of the burning drapes, and whipped them at the dead man. Let it burn, he prayed as the cloth smothered the corpse, gods, please, please, let it burn.
[AGOT; Jon VII]
This Jon chapter comes after AGOT; Sansa IV:
Tumblr media
And these two chapters have many parallels such as:
So she went to the queen instead, and poured out her heart, and Cersei had listened and thanked her sweetly … only then Ser Arys had escorted her to the high room in Maegor’s Holdfast and posted guards, and a few hours later, the fighting had begun outside.
[AGOT; Sansa IV]
They took his knife and his sword and told him he was not to leave his cell until the high officers met to decide what was to be done with him. And then they placed a guard outside his door to make certain he obeyed. His friends were not allowed to see him, but the Old Bear did relent and permit him Ghost, so he was not utterly alone.
[AGOT; Jon VII]
*
Yet somehow it seemed colder with Jeyne gone, even after she’d built a fire. She pulled a chair close to the hearth, took down one of her favorite books, and lost herself in the stories of Florian and Jonquil, of Lady Shella and the Rainbow Knight, of valiant Prince Aemon and his doomed love for his brother’s queen.
[AGOT; Sansa IV]
Yet he was trembling, violently. When had it gotten so cold?
[…]

Metal crunched, glass shattered, oil spewed, and the hangings went up in a great whoosh of flame. The heat of it on his face was sweeter than any kiss Jon had ever known. “Ghost!” he shouted.
[AGOT; Jon VII]

What happens to skinchanger Orell and warg Varamyr after the eagle burst into flames?
The incident greatly affects Varamyr and supposedly kills the remnants of Orell inside the eagle.
After the defeat of the wildlings at the battle beneath the Wall, Varamyr has lost all his possessions in his madness from experiencing the eagle’s death; he has also lost control of his snow bear and shadowcat, but his wolves remain.
[Orell dying completely and Varamyr gets mad also reminds me another resurrected character Beric Dondarrion who also has ONE EYE and him dying for good to bring Catelyn Stark back to life... And like Varamyr, Lady Stoneheart loses her mind too... ]
Let’s move on to fourth book...
A FEAST FOR CROWS:
Jon is not even in this book?
But Sansa is and we learn few things about her crushes:
Waymar Royce:
She had fallen wildly in love with Ser Waymar, she remembered dimly, but that was a lifetime ago, when she was a stupid little girl.
[AFFC; Alayne I]
Grrm reminds us Waymar Royce aka the biggest foreshadowing for Jon in AFFC book via Sansa’s chapter...
Loras Tyrell:
Loras was another crush of Sansa and we learn that he got burned really bad in AFFC.
Like the eagle and Jon.
“Tell me,” said Margaery. “I command it.” Command it? Cersei paused a moment, then decided she would let that pass. “The defenders fell back to an inner keep once the curtain wall was taken. Loras led the attack there as well. He was doused with boiling oil.” Lady Alla turned white as chalk, and ran from the room. “The maesters are doing all they can, Lord Waters assures me, but I fear your brother is too badly burned.”
[AFFC; Cersei VIII]
More about Loras // Jon, please check: Jonsa Book Hints: A8
Let’s keep reading the fifth book...
A DANCE WITH DRAGONS:
In ADWD; Prologue Varamyr encounters with Others (just like AGOT; Prologue) and Varamyr’s body dies, but his mind lives on in his wolf One Eye.
And Varamyr also thinks about Jon and his direwolf..
Tumblr media
So we have dead warg who kept living in his animal: A WOLF whose name is ONE EYE.
Varamyr could feel the snowflakes melting on his brow. This is not so bad as burning. Let me sleep and never wake, let me begin my second life. His wolves were close now. He could feel them. He would leave this feeble flesh behind, become one with them, hunting the night and howling at the moon. The warg would become a true wolf. Which, though?
[...]
“They say you forget,” Haggon had told him, a few weeks before his own death. “When the man’s flesh dies, his spirit lives on inside the beast, but every day his memory fades, and the beast becomes a little less a warg, a little more a wolf, until nothing of the man is left and only the beast remains.”
Varamyr knew the truth of that. When he claimed the eagle that had been Orell’s, he could feel the other skinchanger raging at his presence. Orell had been slain by the turncloak crow Jon Snow, and his hate for his killer had been so strong that Varamyr found himself hating the beastling boy as well. He had known what Snow was the moment he saw that great white direwolf stalking silent at his side. One skinchanger can always sense another. Mance should have let me take the direwolf. There would be a second life worthy of a king. He could have done it, he did not doubt. The gift was strong in Snow, but the youth was untaught, still fighting his nature when he should have gloried in it.
[...]
A sleeping direwolf raised his head to snarl at empty air. Before their hearts could beat again he had passed on, searching for his own, for One Eye, Sly, and Stalker, for his pack. His wolves would save him, he told himself. That was his last thought as a man. True death came suddenly; he felt a shock of cold, as if he had been plunged into the icy waters of a frozen lake. Then he found himself rushing over moonlit snows with his packmates close behind him. Half the world was dark. One Eye, he knew. He bayed, and Sly and Stalker gave echo. When they reached the crest the wolves paused.
[...]
The things below moved, but did not live. One by one, they raised their heads toward the three wolves on the hill. The last to look was the thing that had been Thistle. She wore wool and fur and leather, and over that she wore a coat of hoarfrost that crackled when she moved and glistened in the moonlight. Pale pink icicles hung from her fingertips, ten long knives of frozen blood. And in the pits where her eyes had been, a pale blue light was flickering, lending her coarse features an eerie beauty they had never known in life. She sees me.
[ADWD; Prologue]
Jon dies in his last ADWD chapter and his last word was his direwolf’s name: GHOST...
So we have a full circle:
It started with Agot; Prologue
and ended with ADWD; Jon XIII
Let’s not forget that Jon’s death was foreshadowed in ASOS; Sansa VI chapter.
Lord Petyr dismissed him with a wave, and returned to the pomegranate again as Oswell shuffled down the steps. “Tell me, Alayne—which is more dangerous, the dagger brandished by an enemy, or the hidden one pressed to your back by someone you never even see?”
“The hidden dagger.”
“There’s a clever girl.” He smiled, his thin lips bright red from the pomegranate seeds.
[ASOS; Sansa VI]
Next chapter was Jon:

“Do not be so certain.” The ruby at Melisandre’s throat gleamed red. “It is not the foes who curse you to your face that you must fear, but those who smile when you are looking and sharpen their knives when you turn your back. You would do well to keep your wolf close beside you. Ice, I see, and daggers in the dark. Blood frozen red and hard, and naked steel. It was very cold.”
“It is always cold on the Wall.”
“You think so?”
“I know so, my lady.”
“Then you know nothing, Jon Snow,” she whispered.
[ADWD; Jon I]
Tumblr media
In conclusion:
Jon’s death, him warging into his direwolf during his death and him coming back to life arc has been foreshadowed since AGOT; Prologue and its most obvious hints were given in ADWD; Prologue by echoing AGOT; Prologue.
The ‘ONE EYE’ motif seems like a key hint for his resurrection.
And Sansa is always close to this motif or she has some connections with this motif via other characters or her chapters.
A Sansa Stark being close to another ‘ONE EYE’ Stark is interesting because of the historical couple: Jonnel ‘One Eye’ & Sansa Stark in Stark family tree..
Even the hints of Jon’s death can be found in Sansa chapters.
All of these tell us that Sansa will be important in Jon’s past resurrection story.
Thanks for reading.

Chapter 1
“You need to stop being friends with her!”
“I don’t see what the problem is! She’s just my ex! And you know there’s nothing between us anymore! It’s like you don’t trust me!”
“I do trust you! This has nothing to do with trust! My problem is you always take her side!” Kagome’s arms flailed wildly to accentuate her frustration. “I’ve tried telling you over and over how she treats me when your back is turned, yet you ALWAYS DEFEND HER! I’m your girlfriend, you should be defending me! Not her, ME! The fact you’re unwilling to let her go tells me she’s more important to you then I am!”
“That’s ridiculous,” Inuyasha scoffed and crossed his arms. “I do defend you! I tell her to stop, and she does. What more do you want me to do? She’s still my friend!”
That was it, Kagome couldn’t take it anymore. Her screams let loose along with the flood of stifled tears. “Are you serious?! For all your heightened senses you’re as blind and deaf as a bat! She doesn’t stop, that’s what I’m trying to tell you! But you never listen to me...” She loved him so much, and yet the sense of betrayal was just too much to bear. She started backing away from Inuyasha and her arms crossed over her chest to comfort the skin-crawling sensation tingling along the surface. Kagome was tired of all the fighting and the tears.
Realizing he’d gone too far, Inuyasha reached out to her. “Kagome, I—.”
Kagome quickly recoiled further away. Her emotions were all over the place, but one thing was clear through her clouded eyes, this man was not fully listening to her, and she’d be damned to let him pull her back again. “Don’t touch me!” She gritted out. “Five years I’ve spent dealing with this alone and— Inuyasha... I hate you for putting me through this! I’m done!”
Without another word, Kagome grabbed her car keys and purse, and raced out into the storming night as Inuyasha called out to stop her. She jumped into her car and sped away uncaring of the hazardous conditions. All she knew, is she couldn’t stay there another second. “Ugh!! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!” Kagome screamed and bawled, her hands tightly gripped to the  steering wheel and foot stomped to the floor. She was loosing it, her mind too distressed to process anything correctly, feeling everything and nothing at the same time.
If she could just get to her family’s home, she could regroup. But the slick asphalt was unforgiving as the thunder and lighting cracked above. It was hard to see through the sheets of rain pummeling her windshield, and the glare of the thunder cracks produced seconds of total loss of visibility. Suddenly, an inordinately large flash blinded her, followed with a boom so close it rang in her ears. It was like her eardrums exploded and all Kagome could hear was a white, static noise. She screamed as the sensation of drifting sent a chill up her spine, and her last thought as the car careened into the pole... “Inuyasha...”
“Fuck!” Inuyasha growled as he ran both hands down his face. He still didn’t understand why Kagome had snapped and was torn about what to do next. Should he go after her? Because it was certain to just spark another fight. He paced in his living room, going back and forth like the thoughts in his head. If he loved her, he should go after her. But she’d said she hated him... a statement which sent a dagger straight through his heart because Kagome Is more important to him then his ex. He just couldn’t understand why it was such a big deal to stay friends with an ex-girlfriend, since in the end it was Kagome that he wanted. Though... she was right, if he already made such a decision, instead of fighting her on it, he should have just given in.
He’d spent too many precious minutes debating with himself such a stupid thing. What mattered was he loved Kagome, and it was time to do the right thing no matter the consequences. Inuyasha grabbed his own car keys and took off after her. There was only two places Kagome would run to, her family, or Sango. He’d start at the family’s home and get his girl back! But as he drove, even with his supernatural vision, the blinding rain and cracks of lighting made the journey difficult. Inuyasha drove as quickly as he safely could, rounding a bend in the road and having to slow to a crawl as flashing emergency lights littered the area in front of him. Just great! An accident shouldn’t be surprising in these wet conditions, but it slowed him down!
A police officer with a flasher was guiding the crawling cars past the one-car wreck. Inuyasha like many others looked over to see the car wrapped around a light pole. Oh, it was a pretty bad...
“Kagome!” Inuyasha stomped on his breaks the second he recognized the vehicle. It was his girlfriend’s car! He instantly swerved to the side and jumped out running towards the officer. “That’s my girlfriend’s car! Where is she? Is she okay?!” He spied an ambulance and made a move to rush towards it. But the officer stopped him. “Kagome!!!” Inuyasha screamed. “Kagome?!!”
“Sir! Sir!” The officer held him back. “The woman is being transported to the hospital...”
Inuyasha grabbed the officer by his vest, forgetting the trouble it could gain him. “Is that Kagome?!” He demanded! “Tell me damn it! Is she gonna be, okay?!”
Luckily for him, the officer recognized the man’s distress and rather than escalate his odds against a hanyo, did his best to calm Inuyasha. He kept his voice even and soft. “Sir, all I can tell you is she wasn’t conscious when we arrived. Do you know her emergency contacts?”
“T-That’s me.”
“Okay, the hospital will need to verify who you are. But just follow the ambulance. Okay? Don’t drive reckless, just follow. Understood?”
“Y-yeah...”
“Good, now get back in your vehicle and once the ambulance starts to leave just do as I told you.”
“Alright, alright, fuck!” Inuyasha slicked the dripping water off his face and got back in his car. He watched as the officer let the EMTs know someone would be following them and all he could think was they needed to hurry up! From what he could see, the wreck was a bad one. Kagome’s car was crinkled, wrapped partially around the base of the pole. It must have slid because it was the side of the vehicle that impacted the pole, and hard enough to crack it. She must have been speeding around the bend and lost control.
Within a few minutes, the ambulance left, and he followed close behind. “Fuck! This is all my fault! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!” All he could do was pray it wasn’t as bad as it looked. The vehicle had airbags, so hopefully it lessened the impact on Kagomes body. Yet the nagging dread still ate away at Inuyasha. If only he had stopped her from leaving... if only he’d just told her what she wanted to hear... but no, like an idiot, he just had to win the argument since he didn’t understand the gravity of her pain. And now look what happened.
Kagome was immediately rushed into surgery leaving Inuyasha behind in a waiting room for information. In the meantime, he called her mom, and their best friends, Miroku and Sango, dreading how was he going to explain this all to them. When they arrived, he told them about the fight.
“And that’s how I came upon the accident,” his ears pinned and drooping. “It’s my fault.”
“Oh, hun,” Mrs. Higurashi hugged Inuyasha tight. “This is not your fault.”
“It kinda is...” Miroku mumbled gaining a hard slap by Sango.
“Yes, it is.” The hanyo agreed. “I could have stopped her, but I didn’t.”
“Inuyasha,” the older woman leaned back and placed her hands against his face. “It was an accident, these things happen. What’s important is that you are here because you love her.”
At the word love, the burly hanyo lost all control, and the tears he’d held back flowed free. That’s right! He loved Kagome more than anything in the world. It should have been enough to make him choose the right thing in their fight, but he didn’t and that tore him up. If he loved her, then why didn’t he?! Inuyasha was going to beat himself up over it no matter how many people tried to tell him otherwise. Accident or not, the woman he loved was currently fighting for her life on an operating table and if she died… He’d never forgive himself.
