It's not everyday Megatron meets a bot who's not already aware of every wrong he's ever committed. It's not everyday he meets a bot who isn't terrified of him at first, but instead looks at him with awe and wonder.

You can't just reform your entire life/ideals and not go a little soft...

Though, it's important to note that Megatron still has a lot of relationships to repair. Not just with the autobots...

Megatron isn't the only one trying to turn over a new leaf. However, having some recent experience in trying to become a better person, he assumes he can maybe share some advice. Perhaps it was a moment of hopefulness, that he too could be looked at so fondly as Optimus; that he could be looked upon as a guidance figure.

He doesn’t want it to look exactly like the Water Tribe necklaces; he wants it to somehow be representative of both of their cultures. But…he still hasn’t quite figured out the best way to achieve that combination.

There’s a knock on the door, and Sokka jumps. He hastily shoves his sketches into a book, hiding them from view, before he calls out, “Come in!”

Zuko steps into the room silently, then shuts the door behind him. He heads directly for Sokka, and immediately drapes himself over his shoulders, burying his face in Sokka’s neck.

Sokka chuckles. “Long day?”

Zuko groans in response.

Sokka takes one of Zuko’s hands in his and kisses it softly. “Do you want to talk about it?”

Zuko shakes his head. “Just…tell me about your day instead?”

“Anything for you, sunshine.” His gaze flits over to the book, where the thing that has occupied most of his day sits out of sight. Obviously he can’t tell Zuko about that, but he can regale him with the tale of how he and a few of the Kyoshi Warriors accidentally started a minor food fight at breakfast.

Who/where did you get your back tattoo done if you don’t mind me asking? I am looking to get Kiryu’s one day, and was wondering where you found someone who did such a good job!

I got mine at a local place (hotrod tattoo, AZ, artist Chuy) tho if you're looking to get something for yourself done, I would rec checking out artist portfolios at places of your choosing and seeing which you prefer! tbh a lot of this will come down to what you want out of the tat and what the artist is willing to do 👀

so like, for me, I wanted majima's tat done 1:1, style matching and all so it took me a few tries to find an artist who was willing to emulate the art exactly since some artists prefer doing their own thing or whatnot. the guy I found had a portfolio full of tats from other media in 1:1 styles as well as in general such a broad range of styles that I felt convinced he could get me exactly what I wanted 😊 plus he had a few japanese style tats so I could see how he'd handle things like the dark clouds typical of these tats (which is like 70% of majima's lol)

so if you're looking for kiryu's I would say ask yourself do you want it 1:1, or an interpretation, or something else, etc and go from there when you're looking for an artist and make it *very* clear your intentions just so communication is smooth and no one misinterprets things. and definitely don't settle if you're not 100% happy with whoever you find! I had to go thru multiple people and talk to them about the process till I really felt comfortable with the guy I finally picked. since these sorts of tats are huge af and expensive, defo make sure you have no regrets or hesitations when you start 👌
