That one scene in Psycho Pass where Akane lights a cigarette to keep it in a cup and not to smoke it, after Kougami is suspended is something.

She lights a cigarette because she's so used to smelling Kougami around her. Kougami's cigarettes.

What to do when you miss someone you can't even meet because they've gone. You can only see them if they let you.

So, she lights a cigarette. Keeps his bad habit around in place of him.
