Things I read on the internet that's a declaration of hate for Kana and my reaction (hoping I feel better after typing them all out)
"Kana makes everything about herself"
Did she want to be an idol? Did she want to be a center girl? (Girlie don't even know what a center girl is hahahaha). In Tokyo Blade, did she want the spotlight? That one time Kana wanted anything for herself is when she told Aqua her new dream. She did not even have a graduation concert. She did not have that movie that director told her about. In 137, she was praised for being a handy actor that can uplift others and improve herself and was described as "lacks opportunity" and many chapters after that, she still did not have an opportunity for herself. Kaburagi said they'd sell her as genius actor but that was not addressed anymore. So where is that she makes everything about herself when nothing was sbout her anyway? Not the idol career. Not as an actress. Not as a human loved back by the one she loves. She did not become anything she ever wanted so really how was this all about her? No I really want to know, how did Kana make everything about herself? Like I am really curious where this is coming from ah why do you hate Kana so much? 🥺
"___ best girl compared to Kana who only cries all the time"
Why can't we just go with the "____ best girl." period. Why do you need to put down a character to praise another character I am genuinely curious. I mean my favourite character has always been Kana but not ever did I hate on Akane or Ruby or anyone because why would I when all these characters have different stories of their own? And why do these girls need to compete with each other anyway?! Who's giving out the crown and sash? What's the point??? Your favourite is the best girl for you. Okay! Other's favourite is best girl for them. Okay, too! That's perfectly normal so why are you fighting each other I do not understand 😭
"despicable for slapping a corpse"
Kana slapping Aqua was something that belonged to them. No one knows that conversation except Aqua and Kana (and us, the readers). Miyako's reaction was very valid because she does not know anything about that conversation. Which is why when Kana told that to the dead Aqua, Miyako's reaction wasn't angry anymore. Miyako was in tears. I honestly would have killed Aqua twice if I were Kana really so a slap is nothing compared to the emotional wreck being in their lives brought her. Kana deserves to be slapped for hurting a corpse yes I agree but Aqua deserves that slap too for thinking that him dying is the great solution to whatever problem they're trying to solve.
"Kana is useless"
And what a heartbreak that is. Kana is perservering, patiently working on all the things she want to happen and absolutely nothing went her way. Kana is a representation of someone that tried and tried patiently but everything she did just made her feel useless. She grabs every opportunity, creates opportunity for herself but she is never enough. If killing one's self was a contest, I'd definitely compete Arima Kana as candidate. I would even forgive her if she just goes feral all of a sudden with all of the things that happened to her. She's useless, you say, but was that her fault?
"Kana does not deserve to be happy"
and why not? I say everyone in Oshi no Ko deserves to be happy. So why deny that to Kana?
But really. Why is she getting so much hate?

Hey Kana... I just saw my crush hugging another girl (it hurt me) because I've liked him for about 10 years. Can you make a short scenario about Jinwoo comforting a crying Reader?💔❤️‍🩹
omg babe 😭 i'm so sorry to hear that 😭 I hope you're doing much better now 🥺 i'm sorry this took me a while but i wanted to make sure i wrote something decent enough to cheer you up hehe
(i tried to keep the mood light and fluffy cause i figured you already cried enough afjslddsfsdf 😭. Also, to make it easier to read, I changed your crush's name to Kihoon LOL I hope that's okay!)
Tumblr media
It’s late evening. Jinwoo’s apartment is dimly lit, wrapped in the soft glow of a few scattered lamps and the pale light bleeding through the curtains from the streetlamps outside. He sits on the couch, a stack of Hunter Association documents spread across the coffee table in front of him—urgent, of course—but his pen stills mid-sentence when a knock echoes through the apartment.
He already knows who it is. That familiar heartbeat. That unmistakable presence.
“Coming,” he calls, setting the pen aside as he stands.
When he opens the door, there you are—his childhood friend. The one he’s secretly loved for years. But tonight, you're not smiling. You look like the world cracked open beneath your feet.
“Hey, what happe—” Before he can finish, your voice slices through the silence.
“Oppa, you know how I always see you as a big brother, right?”
His brows pull together at the suddenness of your words, but his expression stays gentle. “Yeah, of course. What’s wrong? What happened?”
“Can I be really childish and annoying for a minute?”
He can’t help the corner of his mouth from twitching. “You’re annoying every day, so I’m kind of used to it.”
You take a deep breath. And then—
“LOVE SUCKS!”
Jinwoo flinches at the sudden outburst, eyes wide. He glances down the hallway, half-expecting a neighbor to peek out, then looks back at you, ears still ringing. “That’s… a very loud opinion.”
“Oh, I’ve got opinions, alright!” you rant, unstoppable. “Love is overrated. Relationships are overrated. Anyone in love is either an idiot or a masochist! No matter how much you love someone, they’ll always fall for someone else. Someone prettier. With a nicer smile, or a better nose, or who can sing or cook or do stupid backflips or—ugh! BEING IN LOVE IS SO STUPID!”
Jinwoo stands quietly, watching you unravel—equal parts surprised and quietly amused. You’re fiery. Heartbreakingly endearing, even when furious.
“…And what brought this on?”
“No reason,” you say, waving your hands like you’re swatting the truth away. “I just think love is stupid. Don’t you agree?”
He sighs and steps aside to let you stomp in properly. “Alright, drama queen. Come in before you wake up my neighbors.” With a soft chuckle, he closes the door behind you.
“I told you I was going to be childish,” you mutter, collapsing onto the couch.
He follows, settling beside you, his voice gentler now. “Okay. So what really happened?”
Guided by that gentleness, that sincere concern laced with curiosity, your facade shatters, revealing a frail, doleful girl underneath. “I saw... Son Kihoon hugging Han Semi today. I guess they’re together now.” The exhale that escapes you carries a piece of a broken heart, your voice softening, cracking on the edges. “I know it's just a crush, but… I've liked him for ten years now. It hurts.”
His heart clenches. Seeing you like this—so raw, so wounded—makes something ache deep in his chest. He wants to pull you into his arms, to soothe you with his warmth, to kiss your temple to make you realize you’re not as alone and unloved as you think you are. But he doesn’t. He never does. Doesn’t allow himself to.
“I get it,” he says softly. “Ten years is a long time."
You tighten your fists, your teeth sinking into your quivering lip. "I-if I cry, will you laugh at me?"
Jinwoo hates it. Hates that there's someone out there who makes you cry, and he can't do anything about it. Hates that you're crying over something that he can't help recover. He sighs, all due to the disappointment he holds toward himself. "No," he says, his smile tender. "No, I won't."
And with that, he strips you bare. You break down into tears, your nails sinking into your thighs before he pulls you close with one hand, letting you rest your face in the curve of his shoulder. He just sits there and wait, his fingers threading carefully through your strands, pacifying you without a word. But that's the comfort you desperately need. You didn't seek for advice, didn't want to be told white lies, you just needed a shoulder to cry on and he gave it to you, broad and warm with a calming, pleasant scent that soothes you to your bone.
He still hates it. If only he was the one you were in love with. He would've never made you feel this way. And he would've held your hand, and kissed your tears away, one by one, replacing them with silent affection.
After a while, you finally regain the strength to pull away. He smiles softly, fingers itching to brush away the tears. "Better now?"
"Yeah." You sniffle. "Sorry, I... got my snots all over your jacket. I've never seen you worn this before. Is it brand new?"
"Yes."
"Sorry."
"It's all right."
You look at each other and you find yourself trading chuckles. "God, I feel so much better now. Screw Kihoon. I don't need him. Not when I have you, right, Oppa?" You beam, bumping your shoulders together.
Jinwoo's lips tighten into a line but he forces them to curve. "You knew from the start, didn't you? That he didn’t feel the same way?”
You nod, your heart still aching over the thought. “Well, yeah… but it doesn’t stop the pain.”
Jinwoo watches as your lower lip trembles and you quickly turn your face away, blinking back the tears that threaten to emerge again. He stays silent, hands clenched in his lap. He wants to reach out. He always does. But he shouldn't.
“Maybe it’s for the best,” he says, sympathy in his eyes. “At least now you can move on.”
You let out a bitter laugh. “Easy for you to say. You’ve never fallen for someone who didn’t like you back, have you? I mean, look at you—if you liked someone, she’d be insane not to like you back. You wouldn’t get how this feels, Oppa.”
The words hit harder than they should.
He looks at you, lips parting as if to speak, but then—he hesitates. He wants to tell you. How wrong you are. That he knows exactly how it feels. That he lives it every day you smile at him and call him Oppa.
“You’d be surprised how wrong you are,” he says quietly.
You blink. “What?”
He shakes his head. “Nothing.”
Jinwoo rises to his feet, trying to shake the weight in his chest. “Well... I’ve got ice cream. Want some?”
“Oppa…” Your voice is small, fragile, but there’s a shimmer in your eyes, a hint of gratitude, and a quite joy amidst the sadness. “Yes, please.”
A tender, affectionate smile adorns his lips. “Okay.” He ruffles your hair, like how a caring brother would, then heads into the kitchen. When he returns, he has a pint of ice cream and two spoons. Without a word, he sits beside you again, sets the ice cream between you both, and offers you one of the spoons. “All right, dig in.”
You grab the spoon with a sniff. “If I get fat, I’m blaming both Son Kihoon and you.”
Jinwoo chuckles, the sound low and warm. “If you get fat, that’s on you. I’m just here being a supportive friend in your time of crisis.”
You shoot him a look, lips twitching upward. “Couldn’t you have supported me in a way that didn’t involve ruining my waistline?”
He leans back slightly, teasing. “And how exactly should I have supported you, then?”
You tap your spoon against your chin, thinking aloud. “Hmm… What could the great S-Rank Hunter Sung Jinwoo do to make a girl happy?”
He hums to himself, playing along. “I could punch Son Kihoon for you.”
You gasp dramatically, hand to your chest. “Don’t you dare! He’s my precious one.”
He rolls his eyes, but his smile falters for half a second. That word—precious—burns just a little too much when it’s meant for someone else. Jinwoo pokes your side again, light and playful. “You say ‘precious.’ I say… ‘punchable.’”
You laugh, finally. A real, full laugh. “You know, Oppa, you don’t act like this around anyone else, do you? In public, you’re always so serious. The stoic, silent type. But here you are, being a complete dork.”
“I see your mood’s improving,” he scoffs. “That sharp tongue of yours is back.” He shrugs then, more quietly. “I guess it just means I’m more myself around you.”
“Oh, I’m still upset, don’t get me wrong. But this ice cream is doing wonders.” When you glance at him, the impish gleam in your eyes softens. You brush your shoulder gently against his, eyes warm. “I’m glad you can be yourself around me. I feel the same way, too. That’s why I came here, you know? The moment I felt awful, my feet just… brought me here. Because I knew you’d somehow make it better. I always feel at ease with you, Oppa.”
His heart clenches. Every word you say is exactly what he wants to hear—just not like this. Not while he’s still just the “safe” one. The “comfort” one. The friend. But he swallows that ache down.
“Of course. Anytime,” he murmurs, forcing out a smile. “What are friends for?”
You pause, eyes a little hesitant when you stare at him. “Hey, can I… be completely honest for a second? It’s gonna sound really sappy. Maybe even cringe. Just warning you.”
He raises an eyebrow, smirking. “Go ahead. I’ll try not to cringe too hard.”
You set the ice cream on your lap and let out a slow breath. “You know how people say you can’t choose who you love?” You tarry, watching his face carefully. “Sometimes I think… if I could choose—if I could forget Kihoon for even a second—and choose someone to fall for… I’d choose you, Oppa.”
He turns still.
It hits him like a quiet earthquake, everything shifting beneath his feet. It’s both everything he’s wanted to hear… and the most painful hypothetical he’s ever been handed.
He looks down, struggling to keep his expression neutral. “And… why would you choose me?”
“A thousand reasons,” you answer instantly with a smile, tender yet radiant. “You’re kind. You’ve always been there when I needed someone. You protect me—even when you’re not physically there, I still feel protected. You’re blunt sometimes, but never cruel. You tell the truth when everyone else feeds me sweet lies. You’re strong, stronger than anyone I know. And I always feel safe around you. Comforted. Like being at home, surrounded by the people I love.” You slow down for a bit, voice quieter now. “You respect people—women, especially. You take good care of your family. I’ve watched you carry burdens most people wouldn’t survive, and you never ask for anything in return. Meanwhile, here I am sobbing over a guy who barely saw me. You’re everything I aim to be. I admire you so much, Oppa.”
He swallows hard. The lump in his throat is stubborn. “I… see.”
Jinwoo fixates his gaze on his lap before it slowly travels back to you. You’re smiling, relaxed, completely unaware of how deeply you’ve just wounded and uplifted him all at once.
“I don’t think I deserve all that,” he says. “I’m just… me.”
You nudge his knee with yours. “Exactly. That’s why I admire you. You don’t pretend to be anyone else. You’re just you.” Your grin stretches on your face, brighter than the sun. “You’re cool, Oppa. Any girl would be lucky to have you.”
He wants to scream. Or laugh. Or just hold you and tell you the truth—that the girl who’s “lucky” enough to have him already exists. She’s sitting right here. And she doesn’t want him.
“Really?” he says instead, a little dry. “Any girl?”
You hum, scooping another spoonful. “Why? Do you have someone in mind?”
He tries to laugh it off. “No. Just surprised. You make it sound like I could have anyone I wanted.”
You tilt your head, chewing thoughtfully. “I can’t imagine anyone turning you down, honestly. She’d have to be insane.”
Every word is another twist of the blade. Jinwoo smiles—because he always does—but inside, his heart’s bleeding.
He watches you enjoy your ice cream, your expression soft and cheerful again. “How long are you going to keep eating that?”
“Shut up,” you grumble around another spoonful. “I’m eating my feelings, thank you very much. Also, I feel super embarrassed after that whole confession, so I need to distract myself with sugar and denial.”
He laughs softly, watching you avoid the conversation with spoonfuls of ice cream. You’re so cute when you’re flustered, and something about seeing you like this—curled on his couch, eating the comfort food he brought—makes his chest feel warm. “Can I ask you something?”
“Hmm?" You tilt your head to the side. "Sure.”
He draws in a breath. The question is simple, but the answer might ruin him. Still, he has to know. “Hypothetically… if I told you I liked someone, what would you say?”
You blink, taken aback. “Hmm… I’d ask who the lucky girl is. You’ve never talked to me about girls before—so I don’t even know your type. But if you told me her name and she was, like, the worst person alive, I’d have to slap some sense into you.” Your body shakes lightly with mirth at the thought.
He smiles at that. It’s comforting knowing you'd be honest, even if it hurt. “But what if she’s not the worst? What if she’s actually… a really good person?”
That makes you pause. He notices your smile falter just a bit, your fingers stilling against your cup. “Well… I guess I’d be happy for you then.” You glance away. “And maybe a little jealous. You got to be in a relationship before me. But yeah… I’d be glad.”
His gaze lingers on your face. He should feel relieved—but all he feels is a sharp ache in his chest. “Yeah? You’d be happy for me?”
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?” You toss him a small, earnest smile. “You’re like a brother to me, Oppa. If someone out there makes you happy, that’s a good thing.”
The word brother hits harder than it should. He swallows, hard. “Right. Of course.”
“So… who is she?”
“What?”
“Come on, you’ve never asked things like this before. There must be someone in your mind. Who is it?”
His lips curve into a mischievous smile, a shield for the storm inside. “Not telling.”
You narrow your eyes. “That doesn’t sound fair. I told you everything about Kihoon.”
He shrugs with exaggerated indifference. “Welcome to a one-sided conversation.”
“You jerk. I take back every nice thing I said about you earlier. You’re annoying.” But you’re smiling, leaning toward him with that same stubborn determination that always gets him in trouble. “C’mon, Oppa. Just a hint?”
He chuckles at how relentless you are. “You’re such a pain in the ass, you know that?”
You pout. “Fine. Don’t tell me. I’ll guess. You just nod if I get it right.”
“You’re turning this into a game now?” he says, trying not to laugh.
“I have to, don’t I? Cause you’re being a pain in my ass.” You finish your last drop of ice cream, setting the cup aside. “Okay, first guess—Cha Hae-In.”
He bursts into a soft chuckle. “Wrong.”
You gape. “Seriously? Not her? But she’s gorgeous!”
“She is,” he agrees, shaking his head, “but nope.”
You frown, deep in thought. “Uhh… Park Heejin?”
It amuses him further. You’re just naming all of the attractive girls now. “Nope.”
“Ugh. Who is it then?” You tap your chin, fully invested now. “I’ve got one guess left, right?”
He leans forward slightly, intrigued despite himself. “Mm. Make it count.”
You squint at him, ruminating for a moment, before your eyes brighten with enlightment. “Oh, I know. It’s been obvious this whole time. I’m a genius. The answer was right in front of me.”
His breath catches. Your confidence makes his heart hammer in his chest.
You beam, your chin tilted upward in confidence. “It’s Joohee. Lee Joohee.”
Silence. Then—“What?”
“Joohee! You guys used to be super close. She liked you even back when you were still an E-rank. She’s the only one that makes sense.”
He stares at you, then bursts into laughter—half in disbelief, half in agony. “You… You think I’m in love with Joohee?”
You frown. “Why is that so funny?”
“God, you’re ridiculous,” he mutters through chuckles, shaking his head. “So, so stupid.”
“Excuse me?”
He finally calms down, meeting your glare with a gaze filled with both fondness and exasperation. “It's not Johee."
"Who, then?"
"I can’t tell you,” he says softly, his smile fading into something gentler, more vulnerable.
“Why not?” You pout again, more serious this time. “I thought we told each other everything…”
He hesitates. He’s standing on the edge of a precipice, heart pounding. “It’s not that I don’t trust you,” he says quietly. “It’s just… complicated.”
“Complicated how?”
He looks at you, his eyes filled with a mix of longing and fear. “If I told you… would you be mad?”
Your brows furrow. “Why would I be mad?”
“Just promise me you won’t be,” he says, his voice rougher now, almost pleading. “Whatever I say… just listen, okay? Don’t… walk away. Don’t hate me.”
You look a little unsettled, but you nod. “You’re scaring me, but… Okay. I promise.”
He exhales slowly, gathering every ounce of courage he has. “There’s something I’ve never told you. I’ve carried it for a long time… and I kept quiet, thinking it was better that way.” His voice is shaking now, his gaze locked to yours. “But being around you tonight, hearing the things you said… I just—” He breaks a little, his next line slipping out in a breathy whisper. “I don’t think I can hide it anymore.”
You’re silent, watching him. Listening.
“I… I’m in love with you,” he says at last and your breath hitches in your throat.
"What...?"
“I'm in love with you," he repeats, firmly this time, holding your gaze even though his own wavers, terrified of rejection. "I've been in love with you for a while and I’ve been trying not to be. But every time you walk into a room, everything else just... fades. You’re so important to me, more than anyone—more than anything—else. You drive me crazy, you’re stubborn, you’re impatient, and you’re loud—so loud—and you’re messy with your ice cream, and you call me annoying—but—” He stops for air, his heart thrumming, his voice reducing to almost a murmur. “I’d take all of that if it meant I got to stay by your side.”
You’re frozen in place, barely breathing. “Oppa—”
“And I know you don’t feel the same way,” he rushes, his head falling forward as he clasps his hands together, his knuckles turning white from how hard he’s gripping himself, trying to maintain control. “I know I’m just a friend to you. But I can’t keep pretending I don’t care more than that.” His voice nearly shatters. “You’re everything to me. And it fucking kills me because… I can’t have you.”
You stare at him, wide-eyed, lips parted in surprise. He searches your face, waiting—dreading—your response. Every second feels like an eternity, like a pair of hands clasping tight around his throat.
And then, quietly, you say, “I… I’ve never noticed that you... feel that way about me.”
He lets out a short, humorless laugh, something brittle and small. “You’ve never noticed that I don’t talk to other girls the way I talk to you? That I don't treat them the way I treat you?” His heart races, every word scraped from the rawest part of him.
Your stomach flips. “No, I—” The words catch in your throat and you surrender with your shoulders sagging. “Since… Since when…?”
Jinwoo draws in a shaky breath, his gaze never leaving yours. “Years. I’ve been in love with you for years.”
If your heart hadn’t broken before, it’s crumbling to pieces now. “Y-years…?”
He looks away. “I always knew you didn’t feel the same. That’s why I never said anything. I was going to take it to my grave, but...” His voice falters, thick with emotion. You can hear the vulnerability trembling at the edges of each word.
You’re perched still on your seat. Your heart beats like a drum. “I... I don’t know what to say…”
He closes his eyes briefly, collecting himself. When he opens them again, he wears an expression that breaks your heart—so calm, so gentle, and yet unmistakably pained.
“It’s fine. Like I said, I know you don’t feel the same. I know this probably changes things between us, but… It doesn’t have to. If all you want is for us to stay friends... I’ll understand. I’ll… We’ll stay that way. I promise.” His voice is careful, low, hushed—like he’s offering something fragile that’s already starting to crack.
Your jaw tightens. Taking a breath, you steel yourself and capture his gaze. “Oppa, I... I’ve only ever thought of you as a brother and—”
“I know,” he cuts you off, quietly. He doesn’t flinch, but you can feel the weight in his voice. “You don’t have to say it. I get it.”
You bite your lip, guilt twisting in your chest. There’s something else you want to confess, something that you’ve been buried deep down, too, just like his feelings, but you’re unsure if you should say it. No, he's not letting you say it. “I’m sorry…” It’s all you manage to say for now as your feelings are still in disarray.
He shakes his head, trying to soften the ache with a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. “Don’t be. You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m the one being stupid—confessing when I should’ve just kept being your friend.”
Your heart plummets to your stomach. “Oppa, that’s not—”
But Jinwoo stands abruptly, not wanting to prolong the conversation. His disappointment hangs heavy in the air. His gaze everywhere but your face. “It’s already late. I should take you home.”
“You... You want me to leave?”
He hesitates, visibly torn. He wants to stay, to talk, to hope—but also to run. “It’s… for the best. We both need some space.”
His voice is flat. Controlled. It’s the only way he knows how to survive this.
You watch him, eyes shaking both in incredulity and heartbreak. He’s just going to end the conversation like this?
It doesn’t matter what you think. He’s already made his decision. Jinwoo snatches his keys, grabs you another jacket to protect you from the cold night air, and walks to the door, holding it open for you like he’s holding open the end of something you never thought would end.
You return to your feet, feeling like they’re shackled. And with every step you take, your heart begs you to stay. Begs him to turn around, and see you, and smile at you the way he always does.
But he doesn’t.
He doesn’t look at you, not anymore.
***
The car ride is suffocating.
Silence presses down like fog. Jinwoo’s hands are white-knuckled on the steering wheel, his jaw tight, his eyes fixed forward. He doesn’t acknowledge you, not even with a glance.
When he pulls up in front of your apartment, he shuts off the engine. The car goes still, painfully quiet. “We’re here,” he says, voice taut.
And it snaps, the patience and the self-control that have been thinning into a thread. “Oppa—”
He stops you with a call of your name. His voice is sharp, not angry—just strained, leaving your lips parted with nothing to say. “It’s… It’s really late. Just go inside and take a rest. I’ll see you around.”
Your chest tightens. It feels like rejection, like the door to your friendship is quietly closing. The words you had been composing all the way here crumble into dust. You step out of the car, still too rattled to say good night, and drag your feet toward the building, your heart aching.
Behind you, Jinwoo watches with every cell in his body begging him to reach out. To apologize. To talk. To run toward you and hug you and stroke your hair and explain why he doesn’t have the strength to look at you just yet. His hands tremble, itching to do just that, but he doesn’t move.
When you disappear from view, he drops his head into his hands.
“Fuck.”
He presses his forehead to the steering wheel, breathing hard, every breath an effort to stay in one piece. After a long moment, he gets out of the car and sucks in the night air. The cold air bites at him, but it’s nothing compared to the ache inside.
Then, out of nowhere, he hears it.
“Oppa!”
Your voice cuts through the night like a blade. His eyes snap open. You’re running toward him, eyes brimming with tears.
“What—” His voice catches. “Why are you here? I thought you went inside—”
“I hate you!” you cry, storming up to him. Your fists hit his chest as tears spill over. “You’re so unfair!”
He stumbles back, against the car, stunned. Your name tumbles off his lips but you don’t give him a chance to follow that with anything else.
“Years!” you shout, hitting him again, clouds of your hot breath painting the frosty night. “You’ve been in love with me for years and only now you decided to tell me?!”
His mouth opens, but no words come out. He braces himself, overwhelmed by your emotion, by you.
“Why?” you choke out. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Why didn’t you just tell me the truth? If you had done just that, I would’ve... I would've...” Your voice breaks, and the rest falls into a sob.
His heart cracks with yours. He wants to hold you. God, he wants to. But he can't. He shouldn't. He clenches his fists at his sides, trying to stay strong, trying to understand what caused your emotions to flare like this. “Please don’t cry—”
“And whose fault is that, you idiot?!” you shout with no bite in your voice, only shivers. “You told me you loved me, and then you just assumed everything on your own. You didn’t even look me in the eyes. And then you drove me home without saying anything, told me we needed some space when all I wanted to do was to talk it out with you. Do you understand how you make me feel right now?”
He’s speechless. Your words hit like thunder, like truth. “I… didn’t think you’d want to talk to me after that,” he admits, his eyes downcast. “I assumed you felt awkward.”
“Yes, it was awkward! Of course it was!” you cry out. “It feels suffocating just to be with you right now but I don’t want it to end like this. I don’t want you to act cold or pretend like nothing happened. And I don't want you to look at me like that. Like you're breaking apart and you won't let me in, you won't let me help, and I—” You whimper. "I don't want to make you feel sad... And I don’t want you to avoid me..."
He exhales sharply, jaw clenched. “I don’t want to avoid you either, I just… I didn’t think you’d be this upset. I thought you hated knowing how I feel about you.”
“Why the hell would I hate knowing that you’re in love with me?”
He looks at you then, and the look in his eyes is almost unbearable. “Because you don’t love me back. You see me as a friend. As a brother. You don’t see me the way I see you.”
Your lip quivers. Your chest feels like it’s going to shatter from the pressure. “Idiot,” you whisper. Then you start pounding your fists against his chest again. “You’re such an idiot, Oppa!”
He lets you shove him. Lets you push him until his back hits the side of the car with a soft thud. He doesn’t resist—he just takes it. Takes every ounce of your anger and frustration, every fist pounding against his chest. His eyes never leave your face. They stay locked on your expression, your trembling lips, the tears slipping down your cheeks.
It hurts. Every strike is a dagger, not because of your strength, but the emotions you put in every pound. But Jinwoo doesn’t raise a hand to stop you. He accepts it all, as if your pain is the only thing anchoring him to this moment. And somehow, beneath the ache, he feels relief. Because you’re not indifferent. You're feeling—burning. And maybe, just maybe, that means there’s still something left between you.
Each word you throw at him, every tear, every blow, it sparks something reckless inside him. Hope.
He welcomes the pain, drinks it in. Needs it. It’s proof that you still feel something. He wants to believe that behind all the fury and heartbreak, there’s still a corner of your heart that beats for him.
So he stays still and takes it.
Because if there’s even a sliver of affection, no matter how small, it’s enough. He clings to it—your words, your tears, your touch. He needs to believe he doesn’t have to let go of you. Not yet.
He can’t stop himself, he can’t stop the flood of affection and love for you that’s rising up in his chest. His hand cups your face, wiping away your tears with his thumbs, his touch gentle and tender. He’s holding you as if you’re going to disappear if he isn’t in complete physical contact with you. His expression is soft, gentle, filled with tender emotion, while his eyes show the pain he’s in, the pain he feels in his chest.
He pulls you in, cradling you against his chest. He wraps his arms around you tightly, like you’re a lifeline, like he’s holding his world together by sheer force of will. His face buries into your hair, breathing you in. You soothe him, even in the middle of the storm.
“I’m sorry…” he whispers, voice thick with emotion. His heart hammers in his chest as he holds you. This moment, fragile and fleeting, feels like a miracle. “I’m so sorry…”
“For what..?” you sob, burying your face in his chest.
“For everything,” he chokes. “For loving you in silence. For keeping it all in. For making you cry. For making you angry. I’m sorry for all of it.”
You don’t answer at first. You just hold him tighter, your own emotions unraveling, too raw to speak.
He holds you like you might slip away if he loosens his grip. Your warmth is a balm, your presence a blessing. He tightens his hold. His heart is a mess, barely stitched together.
Then you whisper, voice quivering, “Oppa… Can I be... completely honest with you for a second?”
His breath catches. He nods slowly, head still resting against yours, every nerve attuned to you.
“I… When you told me you loved me… I didn’t hate it. I felt—happy.”
He freezes. His heart stutters, then races. He tries to stay calm, tries to tether himself, but your words crash over him like a wave. “What… what do you mean?”
You lean back, just enough to look into his eyes. “A part of me, a huge part of me felt like I was the luckiest girl in the world to have a man like you say those things to me. I felt grateful. And I felt so happy, and there’s… a side of me that wants to say it back. To tell you I love you, to let you know that there’s always been a part of me who sees you as something more than a friend. But we’ve been friends for years, and all this time, you never told me anything, never showed that you’d want us to be more than friends. So I shut it down, and I taught myself to move on, to find someone else. And I found Kihoon. Even though he doesn’t feel the same way about me, half of my heart still beats for him. The same way the other half did for you when you told me you loved me.”
His heart lurches. Her words both uplift and devastate. To know that you felt something—anything—for him in the past, ignites a radiant spark of hope. But Kihoon… the name lands like a stone in his chest.
Still, he swallows the pain. He doesn't let it consume him. He doesn't beg. He just breathes, slow and steady.
His hands lift again, cupping your face with devotion in each fingertips. “You say part of you loves me… Then why not give me that part?”
Your voice breaks. “Because I don’t want to give you a part of it—I want to give you everything. But I can’t, not right now. I don’t want to sound shallow, and I don’t want you to start doubting my feelings later on. I don’t want you to think that the reason why I accept your feelings is because I can’t be with Kihoon. I don’t want to make you feel like I’m settling for second best, or worse, because I feel sorry for you. If I gave you my heart—when I give you my heart, I want you to believe that you own it. Completely.”
He feels the breath catch in his throat at your words. He wants you. All of you. But that honesty—that clarity—is exactly why he loves you.
He nods, eyes glistening. “I know. I know you’re right.” His voice shakes. He presses his forehead to yours, trying to ground himself. “But… it’s so hard to be patient.”
You almost give in, just from the way he’s begging silently with his eyes. “I don’t want you to doubt my feelings,” you repeat softly.
“I don’t,” he breathes. “I’ll never doubt your feelings, but if you want to wait then... I will. I’ll wait as long as you need.”
The words are a vow, whispered through lips trembling with restraint. He wants to kiss you—God, he wants it more than anything. But he stays still. Barely holding on.
He opens his eyes, gazing at you beneath heavy lashes. You’re so close. One small move, and his lips would brush yours.
You swallow, your breathing turns heavy. You can feel his gaze cascading to your lips. “I just… need time to sort out my feelings…”
He’s burning inside. The need to hold you, to taste you, it roars inside him like wildfire. But he doesn’t move. “How long…” he murmurs, barely audible. “How long do I have to wait?”
The pain in your face breaks him. “I’m not sure.” In a moment of weakness, of surrender, your eyes flicker to his lips, too. “I need to forget about Kihoon and… focus on my feelings for you.”
He catches your drifting gaze and his heart slams against his ribs.
Your fingers clutch his shirt tighter, anchoring yourself to him. And that small gesture—so intimate, so telling—sets him ablaze.
You’re looking at his mouth, breath shallow. You want him, too. He can feel it. It’s driving him mad.
He leans in, just enough that your noses brush. His breath dances across your lips.
"Please..." Jinwoo whispers, barely knowing what he’s asking. It’s a prayer, a plea for something he can’t even name. A kiss. Your heart. A promise.
He’s barely holding it together, his breath is coming in short pants. “You should... push me away...”
“I know…” You murmur back, your eyes tracing his lips, still.
His eyes are locked onto your face, his head tilted to hover over yours. You’re so close he can almost feel your breath against his skin. This is torture, this is pure torture. “Then why don’t you…?”
“I don’t know…” Your voice trembles, your strength ebbing as you clutch him tighter.
He sees the moment you stop fighting. The moment you lean into him, soft and yielding.
And he almost breaks.
But even now, even in the center of the storm, he waits. He won’t take what you’re not ready to give. He can’t. Not like this.
He breathes you in, dizzy with want. Still, he waits.
“Can I…” He starts, shivers in his voice. “Can I be completely honest with you for a second?”
You nod slowly, eyes half-lidded, lost in him. “Yes…”
He wets his lips, eyes flicking down to your mouth for just a moment—barely a heartbeat—but it’s enough. He’s trying to focus. Trying so damn hard. Because if he doesn’t, he knows he’ll lose control. And he doesn’t know how much longer he can hold on.
“I’ve… I’ve dreamed about this,” Jinwoo breathes, voice low and close—so close that if you leaned in even a fraction, you'll taste the vibration on your lips.
“About… what?” you whisper, barely audible.
“You and me,” he murmurs, the words slipping into the silence between you like a secret. His gaze drops again, hungry and haunted. “I’ve dreamed about kissing you for so long.”
You lick your lips, and his eyes track the movement like he’s memorizing it. “You… you have…?”
He exhales, shaky and raw, the sound more confession than breath. “You have no idea how many times I’ve thought about it. About holding you… kissing you… tasting you.”
He’s trembling with restraint, every muscle taut, breath hot against your skin. But still—still—he doesn’t close the gap.
“Can I…?” he asks, voice rough, frayed with need. “Can I kiss you?”
It’s a plea. A prayer. He’s hanging on by a thread, and your answer is the only thing holding him back.
You know you should say no. You made him promise to wait. And you made the same promise to yourself—to let go of Kihoon before giving your heart to someone else. But in this moment, that promise cracks.
Because when his thumb brushes your bottom lip, tugging it down with the gentlest touch, your resolve slips.
He’s so close. You can taste him in the air.
“Ye—”
You don’t get the word out.
His lips crash against yours.
One hand slides to the back of your neck, fingers tangling in your hair. The other wraps around your waist, pulling you flush against him. His kiss is desperate—starved. He pours years of longing, pain, and buried passion into it, kissing you like he’s trying to reclaim time itself.
Jinwoo deepens the kiss, pressing closer, tasting you like he’s been parched. He doesn’t want to stop. He can’t.
A soft whimper escapes you, and something in him snaps. He lifts you effortlessly, pinning you against the car, his hips pressing between your legs. His tongue finds yours, the kiss turning urgent, demanding—devouring.
He only pulls back when the need for air forces him to, gasping, breath ragged. But even then, he doesn’t stray far. He catches your bottom lip between his teeth and nips—gently, but possessively.
You break apart, panting, your chest rising and falling against his. You don’t move far, your legs shaking as you return to the ground. Your foreheads almost touch, the air between you charged, crackling with the weight of everything unsaid.
He tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his voice rough with emotion. “Sorry… I got a little carried away...”
You shake your head, still breathless. “It’s… it’s okay...”
He closes his eyes, trying to collect himself. That kiss—you—are more than he ever let himself imagine. Every fantasy pales in comparison to this.
“You should go,” he murmurs, resting his forehead lightly against yours. “It’s getting late. We’ll talk tomorrow.”
You hesitate. “Promise you won’t avoid me?”
He opens his eyes, smiling softly. “I promise," he carves the word with his lips, pressing them right against your temple.
He steps back, like it physically hurts to create that space, hands clenched as if to keep from reaching for you again. He watches you slowly move toward the entrance door of your building, gaze drinking in every detail of you like he’s trying to etch the moment into memory.
Then, just before you slip inside, he calls out. “Wait.”
You turn, heart pounding. “Y-yes?”
He stuffs his hands into the pockets, trying to look composed. Steady. But his voice wavers. “Can I be completely honest with you for a second?”
You give a nervous little laugh. “Sure.”
He watches you for a beat too long, garnering all the feelings he holds for you, trying to find a way to place them into sentences. He draws a breath.
“I love you,” he says, followed by your name, softly, but with unshakable clarity. “I love you more than anything. I love you more than I think I could. And I know I will always love you even if you don't love me back. So stop looking at me like I’m just a friend… or an older brother. Start looking at me like a man. A man who wants you, who needs you. I’ll be waiting. No matter how long it takes, I’ll be here, waiting for you to come back to me.”
You stiffen, face flushed, lips parted—but no words come. It’s just… impossible to say anything when he speaks so sincerely, when he gazes at you so fondly, when he loves you so ardently.
Jinwoo smiles again, gentler now, relieved that he’s spoken everything he’d been bottling up for so long. “Good night.”
“G-good night,” you whisper back, as it is all you can manage.
“I’ll see you tomorrow.” He tosses you one last gaze, one full of longing, before he slips inside his car and drives off.
You stand there, your face heating up, your mind spinning, your world suddenly tilted on its axis. There’s only one name swirling inside your brain, and it doesn’t belong to the same man who broke your heart earlier today. It belongs to the man who mended it. Who took care of it, then shattered it, healed it, burned it, and kissed it with so much passion, it left your nerves tingling long after he’s gone.
Tomorrow….
What's going to happen tomorrow?

Tumblr media
Been tossing around ideas for this with @lavenderdrxp and I find this idea absolutely hilarious. Takes place in Kimetsu Gauken.
Tumblr media
*You are Muzan's fiance but not by choice. It was an arrangement made by your families when you both were younger as part of a business deal.
*Despite being his 'fiance', Muzan doesn't even acknowledge your presence unless he absolutely HAS to. In fact he even legitimately forgets you even exist most of the time too busy with his plans to take over Japan. He's a pretty sorry excuse for a fiance. The only reason you haven't just called it quits yet is out of respect for your family but you're very close to not caring anymore and calling the entire thing off. It's not like he'd care.
*Despite this one day he actually does acknowledge you!... Because he wants to use you to infiltrate Kimetsu Academy to spy on his Cousin Kagaya.
*Up to this point Kagaya and Muzan hate one another only acting distantly cordial at family gatherings if even that. Despite that Kagaya has never met You. He knows his cousin was engaged but he's never met Y/n (mostly Muzan's fault for refusing to bring you anywhere EVER), so You would be the perfect spy. (Brilliant thinking am I right?)
*You reluctantly agree only on the basis that he shuts up about this entire thing he won't stop bugging you about.
*You set up a meeting with Kagaya via Muzan giving you his number and intergrade yourself into the Academy's staff as his and Amane's new secretary. Giving you access to many of the Academy's...grading papers. And student profiles and... There's nothing here that screams 'government Intel's or anything Muzan would want. It's just a normal every day school.
*He INSISTS that you keep looking around much to your annoyance.
*Kagaya and Amane know the entire time btw. Muzan isnt as clever as he thinks he's being. They knew from the moment Kagaya interviewed you for the job, but he found his cousins attempts to sabotage him quite amusing and let you stay.
*Slowly things start turning. You start to really enjoy your job at the Academy. You've already made friends with a few teachers like Kyojuro, and Kanae.
*Students start to like coming to the office more because of how bubbly and friendly the new secretary is. The teachers start to talk to you more often and invite you to staff parties and outside work events.
*Was working outside your old job really this fun? You couldn't remember the last time you actually felt appreciated or just had someone WANT to talk to you.
*As part of your 'mission' you were supposed to get as close to the Ubuyashikis as possible to learn about all their little secrets. Again they already know but they're curious about what you'll do so they allow you to (not so discreetly) come around them and speak to them often.
*Kagaya thinks it's amusing watching you shyly peek into the doorway to his office with papers clutched into your hands and bashfully asking if you could come in. The way you so innocently look unsure of something or squeak out a question. It's adorable seeing your attempts.
Amane finds your sweet and bubbly personality is perfect for the job! Especially when she sees how much you love interacting with the students and always friendly towards her own children. When you shyly ask her for help with scheduling or ask where a certain file is, always puts a smile on her face.
How could someone like Muzan be engaged to someone so sweet?
*It's Amane that finally brings up the topic. She accidentally walks in to you crying as Muzan is yelling at you over the phone calling you names before hanging up and leaving you a sobbing mess she quickly comforts. Assuring you that it'd be alright and the three of you should have a long talk.
*You're surprised that they knew, but too tired and stressed out to care allowing the couple to hug and comfort you.
*Muzan shouldn't really be surprised when one day he attempts to contact you and finds himself blocked from all your socials. He's been in contact with you this entire time so what the hell is going on?! He gets Kokushibo and a few other employees to text/call you to tell you to quickly get in contact with him. But they all either get completely ignored or blocked too. He's frustrated more and more everyday that you don't contact him.
*Until one day you unblock him to text him ONE word before reblocking his number- "Goodbye."
*Muzan is confused, offended, and mostly pissed! Goodbye?! What the hell does she mean by goodbye?! Doesn't she know who she's dealing with?!
*Not too long after he gets a text message and photo from Kagaya and Amane. Annoyed he opens the message from his cousin and his wife only for a glass shattering noise to go off in his head, and his jaw drop to the floor-
*It's a photo of You in the middle looking beautiful and happy with Amane and Kagaya on either side of you showing off a beautiful New diamond ring on your ring finger-
Amane: "Thank you for introducing us to Y/n. She's such a a lovely woman. You'll be receiving your wedding invitation soon."
Kagaya: "No bitches?"
Kagaya: "You really need to reconsider your plans better if you want to stop looking like a fool."
Kagaya: "Btw have you met our fiance? lol"
*Muzan has to get a new phone after chucking his in rage. Poor Kokushibo literally has to hold him from behind and keep him from storming into the academy and making a fool of himself.
*He doesn't attend but as a polite gesture (a.k.a Kagaya rubbing it into Muzan's face), he is sent a final message in the form of y'all's wedding invite.

19:you call them your spouse even if you're not married yet
With the Male S/O of Kanade otonokoji, Mukuro Ikusaba, and Veronika grebenshchikova~
Calling mukuro, Veronika and kanade your wife even if you're not married yet
Prompts list
Mukuro ikusaba
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Instantly blushes and starts stuttering something
On one hand, she wants to correct you and say that you're not married, but then she starts overthinking and thinks that if she says that, you'll think that she doesn't want to marry you, which couldn't be farther from the truth so she just stays silent and lets you continue talking while blushing
If the person you're talking to asks her for confirmation then she'll just short circuit as she has no idea what to do or say in that moment
"Mukuro? Oh yeah she's my wife"
"H-huh?"
"Is something wrong?"
"N-no it's just........n-nevermind"
[Later]
"W-why did you call me that? Not that I mind, it's just......we're not married yet"
"Well do you want to marry me?"
"Y-yes...b-but like....n-not right now....n-not that I wouldn't like to no-"
[You giggle and kiss her cheek as she blushes even more]
"It was just a joke, but I definitely would love to be your husband"
"........me too, I'd love to be your wife"
Veronika grebenshchikova
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Says absolutely nothing and keeps her usual smile on her face, she acts as if what you said is completely right
Because for her it is, she thinks that from the moment you saw each other, your souls were bound together, and when you started dating, that just confirmed it to her.
You are already married to her because your spirits will be together forever and the official marriage is just a formality that you can think about later
"Yes, Veronika is my wife and I love her very much"
"Oh really? I didn't know you got married, where are the rings?"
"O-oh well-"
"You see we're not officially married yet just spiritually married"
".....what....is that?"
"You don't know? It's when two people's souls are so close together that they will be together forever, even in the afterlife"
".....that's a thing?"
"Of course, and me and my wonderful boyfriend/husband are definitely married in that way, ahhh I can't wait for when we can live together forever as ghosts"
"Yeah, I bet you'll be the cutest ghost ever"
"Don't be silly that will definitely be you"
"............"
Kanade otonokoji
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For a moment, her entire world stops as you call her your wife. Her heart starts beating faster as she starts to turn into her yandere mode before controlling herself so as to not cause a scene
Of course, she knew that you would get married. It was just a part of you staying together forever, but for some reason hearing that you want to marry her and make her your wife makes her feel the same sensation she felt when you accepted her confession:pure unfiltered love
She tries her best to control her impulses, but she still ends up hugging you very tightly and telling you how much she loves you. She might look blushy and embarrassed, but on the inside, she couldn't be more euphoric.
"Kanade here is my amazing wife"
"...........i-i.....your....wife?"
"Is everything OK kana-"
[She instantly hugs you and kisses you all over your face]
"Oh darling, yes, yes, yes! I don't want anything else but being your wife and having you as my amazing husband forever! Kyaaah!"
"O-oh, I'm glad.....you really got excited there"
"S-sorry darling, It's just, the thought of being your wife....it's so....perfect"
"Really? Well I think being your husband is perfect too'

heyoooo!!! this is my first time requesting a fic ever so bear with me ●ᴗ●.
may you do Shinobu x f!reader in where they met together in the final selection when R was injured and Shinobu took care of her and then they just became friends after that. R is usually cold and pessimistic but then Kanae died and she saw how Shinobu was burdened by responsibility and she couldn't have the time to grief. so R takes it upon themselves and Shinobu woke up one morning to seeing R taking care of the mansion with a smile. it goes on for a few days before Shinobu snaps and asks "Why are you suddenly so compassionate and caring?!" and R says "Someone has to fill in your role of annoyingly caring for everyone, y'know?"
it's pretty specific so feel free to reject this if you don't want to write it!
A/N: HELLOOO!!! Yes, I am alive!! I apologize for suddenly disappearing. Writer's and Art block mixed with academic burn out is a dangerous combination indeed. Anyway, I'm still not over my writers block but I tried really hard for this request. Hopefully y'all like it!! Definitely more centered around grief rather than the actual premise idk if I did capture the grief well tho, yall can freely judge. Also, you can either piercive this as romantic or platonic :DD
Anyways, enjoy!!! >:333

HEAVY GRIEF
- kochou shinobu x f!reader
warnings: vivid imagery of blood(?)
word count: 3.5K
Tumblr media
The morning dawned reluctantly, as if the sun itself was too weighed down by sorrow to fully rise. Inside, the normally hearty Estate felt cold and unwelcoming, its usual warmth stripped away and laid bare and cold with the rain outside showing no signs of subsiding, each drop being a reminder of the relentless sorrow that seem to mark itself on the Butterfly Estate residents.
It has been a few days since Kochou Kanae's funeral.
Everyone was deeply devastated by the sudden news that spread, the kind and strong Flower Hashira fatally injured by an Upper Moon Demon. Shinobu, her own blood-related little sister, being the one to cruelly stumble across her in an ill fated timing.
You weren’t unfamiliar with death—far from it actually. You had seen corpses torn apart in the field by claws, bodies reduced to nothing but unrecognizable remnants due to the demon's blood art. You had learned to steel yourself against grief because mourning was pointless. The world did not stop for a dead body.
And yet you still couldn't stop the feeling of the painful shudder that rang violently in your spine, and the heat that left your stomach, crawling upwards your eyes. You quietly trembled when you watched the group of crying Kakushis slowly walking into the mansion, lifting the body of the person you've grown to respect most, with her striking familiar yet covered in red hue butterfly haori peeking out of the white cloth.
You wish you could forget it all.
And currently, you tightly embraced the girls that sobbed in your arms. Your heart tightening at each hiccup that left their mouths.
All of them grieved in their own way, Kanao sweating profusely as you reassured and hugged her trembling form. Aoi, in a bit of denial, distracting herself by the endless chores that seem to add up each passing day. The kids, Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho. Being so young, they cried all day and night as you carefully cradled them until they surrendered to drowsiness and exhaustion. You would be the one to tuck them to bed before your mind wanders towards the person you were worried the most.
Shinobu had been locking herself inside her office.
Your heart longed to comfort your best friend, be a pillar she had always been towards you as you know she's the one suffering the most, you know just how much she treasures her sister and the devastation she felt must be immeasurable.
With that in mind, you walked towards her work office, faintly hearing the clanks of glass and light stomps of feet before raising your hand to knock. You pause when a harsh noise becomes audible, a sob breaking the short silence that followed as you instantly feel your heart drop.
Immediately, you tore the door open and took in the sight of Shinobu tightly clutching a familiar haori that she held in her hands in the middle of the cluttered space, tears flowing out of her reddened eyes and you could feel your own water. "Shino..!"
She looked up at you tiredly and you bit your lip to stop it from further trembling. Slowly, you kneeled in front of her, your hand hovering above her, avoiding possibly startling her. Shinobu looked absolutely broken as another sob left her mouth. Without any second thought, she tightly pulled you in an embrace the moment you were close enough.
"[Name].. she, how could- I.. I could've..!"
You tightened your hold on her, slightly rocking as you whispered reassurances in her ear. Reassurances you know are utter bullshit. Nothing was going to bring back Kanae, bring back the warmth of the estate, bring back the happiness you all had. And yet your lips whispered more like a sinner would.
This was the first time you had ever glimpsed this side of Shinobu, seeing the raw grief and anger she had been harboring these past days. Hopelessness and guilt rang loudly in you, not too different from Shinobu who clutched tightly on your back with loud and angry weeps leaving from her.
You could feel your shoulder damp yet didn't bother to care too much for it, simply rubbing circles on her back in an attempt to comfort her. "Shinobu, It'll be fine, It'll be all fine, okay?"
Suddenly, Shinobu pulled away from your embrace, her face twisted into a sour expression as she glared at you, you didn't find it a bit intimidating as the tears still flowed nonstop alonside her occasional hiccups. You held a palm against her cheek in which she leaned closer to.
"It won't just be okay! You, out of all people, should know that!"
You bit your lip, before Shinobu continued. "I can't- I can't do this on my own-"
"You won't," You cut in, determined. "We will be here for you, I will be beside you, Shinobu."
Shinobu sniffs, gritting her teeth. "I just- There's so many things needed to be done and I just can't, can't possibly do everything at once!"
You pulled her in, and like a magnet, she clung to your body as if you were her lifeline. Her grip was tight and desperate. Gently, you rubbed her shoulders, trying to offer even just a bit comfort, "You don't need to do everything at once, we could take baby steps, one at a time, remember?"
With time, her sobs slowly subsided as you continue to slightly rock both of your bodies tangled with each other. You hear her inhale and let out a shuddering breath before leaving your embrace.
You stare as Shinobu looked down at Kanae's Haori, tightly holding and gripping the fabric. So much emotions flashed on her face. Anguish, grief, regret— too much to take in.
"I'm not Kanae." She whispered eerly.
You gulp, slowly taking her whitening and trembling fists on your own.
"I'm not Kanae, [Name]!" Shinobu looked up at you with another set of tears threatening to shed, her lip trembling and the once confident purple eyes you've sometimes lost yourself into, now looked so dull and beaten.
You don’t remember much of what happened that night. The events blurred together in a haze of exhaustion and grief, becoming a tangled mess in your memory. When you finally awoke, Shinobu was beside you, her usually composed appearance disheveled. Her hair was in disarray, and her brows were deeply furrowed even in sleep.
The agony of losing your mentor weighed heavily on your heart, a constant ache that you couldn't escape. As a demon slayer, you had pledged to fight against these vicious demons and is aware of just how much destruction they could truly do towards people yet the brutal reality was far grimmer than you anticipated.
You took a deep breath, blinking the tears that blurred your sight as you tear your gaze towards Shinobu. If you were feeling this much already, how heavy would the weight of responsibility be pressing down on her? Although, you admired her as she was someone headstrong and brave, even the strongest people had their limitations and the evening before was a proof of such.
You want to become the anchor she was once towards you. Help her through her struggles, just how she saved you from getting yourself killed in the Final Selection without a second thought. After all, she could've left you bleeding and heaving towards your demise in an absolute pathetic state and yet she didn't.
She didn't.
And with a final soft exhale, you slowly stood up from your place and gently picked up the sleeping girl, who immediately curled herself once you placed her on her office bed.
You made your way towards the door with deliberate and steady steps, silently closing the door behind you before a small smile slowly stretched your lips.
-
As her eyelids began to struggle open, Shinobu felt the weight of exhaustion pressed against her skull.
And for a moment, she could barely recall where she was.
The dim glow of the morning showed itself through the open windows, showing another day to be awoken to. She blinked, her lashes sticky from dried tears, with the silence around her feeling painful and suffocating.
No different from the previous days she felt after her sister's sudden passing.
As the memory resurfaced, the realization landed like a hammer to her chest, knocking the air from her lungs. A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she clenched her fists into the fabric beneath her. Kanae's whispers were small and barely audible yet it clung and stung as if her chest was ripped wide open at that very moment.
The memory was vivid, unrelenting—like it had only happened minutes ago.
Blood.
It was everywhere. The deep crimson soaked through Kanae’s butterfly haori before landing on Shinobu's own clothes as she clung tightly to her sister. The once gentle, smiling face was marred by pain, blood seeped out of her sister's mouth as the suffocating iron like scent scattered throughout the air.
Shinobu had dropped to her knees, hands shaking violently as she pressed against the deep wound in her sister’s abdomen. She didn’t even register the hot tears spilling down her cheeks, didn’t even hear her own desperate pleas.
"No, no, no! Nee-san I'll—Just, just hold on! You’re going to be fine, I swear! We just, we just have to stop the bleeding—"
A choked sob tore through Shinobu’s throat as she frantically tried to mend what was beyond saving. And from there point on, it was all a blur— Or she fools herself to be.
The Kakushi arrived too late. They tried to pull her away, but she fought, clawing at the ground to stay by Kanae’s side. Even as her sister’s body was carefully lifted and carried away, Shinobu could only reach out with bloodstained fingers, her screams raw and strangled.
Shinobu squeezes her eyes shut, nails digging into her palms so harshly she felt them sting.
A sharp slap against her cheek snapped her back.
This was enough grieving. Enough brooding. Enough of her pathetic behavior.
She had wailed for days on end. Break as if this would bring back Kanae's soul. Be immature of her older sister's passing.
But now, the world is still turning. The demons never stopped their destruction. The patients never constantly healed on their own. The time continued on moving—and she was expected to move along it.
She exhaled shakily, sitting up. The room was in disarray. Papers littered the floor, glass vials knocked over, ink stains smeared across her desk—proof of her unraveling.
For a long moment, she simply sat there, staring at nothing and everything.
Then, with quiet deliberation, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood. Her limbs felt heavy, her body weighed down as if the grief itself had settled into her very bones. But she forced herself forward.
'Nee-san..'
---
The moment Shinobu stepped out of her office, something felt… off.
The estate was quiet, yet there was something unnatural in the air—one that didn’t belong. One that felt uncanny and eerie.
Then she heard it.
Laughter.
Not the soft, tired chuckles of those trying to heal, but a bright, full-bodied giggle. It rang through the halls like a melody, cheerful and warm. A sound she hadn’t expected to hear so soon. A sound that sent shivers through her spine.
Her brow furrowed as she curved a corner, stomping towards the familiar hallway.
The dining area was bustling, yet the atmosphere was something you could've expected. Grief still clung to the walls, to the people in it. Kanao sat stiffly at the table, her hands curled into loose fists in her lap, staring blankly at the bowl of rice before her. Aoi stood by the doorway, arms crossed, her expression in a tense scowl. The three younger girls, Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho, had their red-rimmed eyes fixed on the figure bustling around the room.
And at the center of it all was [Name].
You moved gracefully between the tables, setting down plates with an exaggerated flourish. Your voice was light, teasing, as you softly nudged Aoi toward a seat with a smile.
"You’ve been working too much, Aoi. Come, come, sit! You ought to try this soup. It's good for growing kids like you girls!"
Aoi frowned, staring at you as if you had grown a second head. "You don’t cook."
You giggled, a bright, ringing sound that made Shinobu’s stomach twist uncomfortably. "Well, there’s a first time for everything."
You turned next to Kanao, oblivious to the new figure that stood and stared at your act. Your voice softens as you pat Kanao's hair.
"Eat up, Nao. You need to keep your strength up."
Kanao blinked slowly, as if trying to understand the words. After a few seconds of silence, she slowly retrieved the heavy coin in her pocket. The one that Kanae had preciously gifted to her. You bit your lips as she took a shaky breath before successfully flipping the coin in her hands.
Her lips barely parted, voice hoarse from days of silence. "I’m.. not hungry."
Your smile faltered for the briefest second before you reached out, gently placing a piece of Unagi onto Kanao’s rice.
"I understand but you need to eat properly to keep yourself healthy, okay? Even just one bite is plenty."
Kanao hesitated, staring at the food, then at you. Something flickered in her dull eyes, and not long after, slowly, with stiff movements, she lifted her chopsticks and took a small bite.
Your grin widened as if Kanao had just won a battle. Perhaps she did.
"There you go, I'm proud of you Nao! It’s good, right?"
Shinobu’s fingers twitched.
Something about the scene made her deeply uneasy.
The exaggerated joy. The forced lightness in your voice. The way your hands trembled ever so slightly when you thought no one was looking. Your trembling lips as the younger girls, Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho, looking up at you with a conflicted expression.
You were trying too hard to be there for everyone.
And Shinobu hated it.
---
This pattern continued.
Day after day, you filled the Butterfly Estate with their endless soft energy, tirelessly caring for the others. You helped in the infirmary, giggling as you changed bandages. You cooked meals, telling jokes as you stirred the soup, the only meal you could pathetically prepare. You played with the children, twirling them around as if nothing in the world was wrong.
But Shinobu was no fool.
You were caring, indeed— But not in a cheerfully smiling way. Not laughing as you endlessly chatter towards the patients kind of way. Not in a forced exertion of energy kind of way. No, you were reserved and cold. Your lips pursed as you barely answer to people's inquiries. An awkward grunt when you're in a tight spot. A pair of observing eyes silently and keenly supervising over everyone else.
You weren't the radiant sun— seemingly filling up the room with your passionate enthusiasm. No, to Shinobu, you were the comforting moon that hovered over everyone when they needed it the most. When the darkness engulfed the surroundings, you were the one shielding them from the unknown.
And she had enough of your unnatural behavior.
---
The soft murmur of voices cut through the evening air, accompanied by the occasional burst of giggles that rang like wind chimes in the night. The engawa was bathed in the dim glow of paper lanterns, casting long shadows that danced gently across the wooden panels. The cool breeze carried the scent of damp earth and faint traces of the floral plants that you can occasionally spot from each corner of the garden.
Shinobu paused mid-step at the sight of you, fingers curling slightly at her sides.
Sitting cross-legged on the wooden porch, the three youngest residents of the Butterfly Estate nestled close to your side. Kiyo leaned against your shoulder, her small fingers absentmindedly fidgeting with the loose thread of your sleeve. Sumi had her arms wrapped around her knees, chin resting atop them as she gazed up at you with wide, eager eyes. Naho sat just a bit apart, but her expression betrayed how much she was hanging onto every word that left your lips.
Your voice, so steady and warm, cut through the night like a lullaby.
"..And then—then the old man huffed and took the mean man by the arm and proceeded to slam him against the table! He really didn't need my help! Can you believe it?"
The three girls let out a chorus of laughter, their tired faces momentarily brightened by childish amusement. This sight should've normally warmed Shinobu's chest, no matter how much she may deny it. Instead, however she felt something gnaw at her insides.
It was clear in the way your shoulders tensed, the way your fingers twitched as you smoothed over Kiyo’s hair. The way your laughter rang hollow at the edges with lips curved into a smile that never quite reached your eyes.
This wasn’t you.
Not at all.
The moment the girls' laughter died down into sleepy murmurs, Shinobu took a deliberate step forward. Her presence made the children perk up but they quickly deflated at her next words.
"It's getting late," Shinobu said, her voice light but firm. "You three should get some rest."
Naho blinked up at her, still drowsy from the warmth of the evening. "But—"
"Goodnight." Shinobu pressed, her lips forming a small, tight smile.
There was a hesitation, a moment where Kiyo glanced up at you as if seeking permission.
You gave her a gentle pat on the back. "Come on now, listen to your Shinobu nee-chan. You’ve all had a long day."
Reluctantly, they obeyed. With murmured goodnights and small yawns, the three girls trudged off, leaving the engawa wrapped in silence once more.
Shinobu let it linger. Let the weight of the quiet settle in. Let the moment stretch until she finally turned her attention fully to you.
You, who were still stiffly sitting there, stared out into the moonlit courtyard.
"So," she began slowly, stepping closer. "How long do you plan to keep this up?"
You blinked as if pulled from a trance, tilting your head toward her with a bemused smile. "What do you mean?"
Shinobu’s lips pressed into a thin line.
"Don’t play dumb."
You let out a light chuckle, rubbing the back of your neck as your eyes wandered away from hers. "I really don’t know what you’re talking about, Shinobu."
The sound of her name from your lips, so casual, so teasing, made her hands curl into fists.
She exhaled through her nose, trying to steady herself. "You’ve been exerting yourself," she stated plainly, watching for your reaction. "Running around, forcing yourself to smile, to laugh, to take care of everyone else while pretending nothing is wrong."
Your expression didn’t change, but your fingers twitched ever so slightly.
"I'm just doing what I can to help," You replied casually, giving her a small shrug. "Is that really such a bad thing?"
Shinobu’s eyes darkened.
"It is when you’re lying to yourself."
You let out a shaky chuckle, shaking your head. "Shino, really—"
"Why are you doing this?"
The question was sharp, cutting through the tense air between you two.
You purse your lips, still acting oblivious to her implications. "Doing what?"
"This." She gestured at you, frustration clearly bubbling. "This ridiculous performance. Acting like everything is fine when we both know it’s not."
Your resolve, however, didn't waver. "I just want to make things easier for everyone."
A muscle in Shinobu’s jaw tensed. "By pretending?"
"By helping." you corrected, voice still infuriatingly chirpy.
And that was it.
That was the final thread as Shinobu snapped.
"Why are you trying so hard to be compassionate all of a sudden?!" The words came out harsher than she intended, her voice laced with something raw and desperate. "It’s fucking pathetic! You’re being pathetic! And I—I…"
Her breath hitched.
Your eyes, so impossibly gentle, met hers.
Slowly, deliberately, you reached out and took her hand.
Her fingers twitched at the warmth of your touch.
"Shinobu," you murmured.
"I just— I just don't get it why are you acting like this?"
You hum, and replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Someone has to fill your role of caring for everyone, you know?"
Shinobu trembled.
The anger in her veins bled into something heavier, something that settled deep into her chest like an unbearable weight. Her shoulders shook, her breath coming out in small, uneven gasps.
You didn’t say anything more, didn’t try to fix anything or offer empty words of comfort. You simply held onto her hand.
Shinobu let out a shuddering sob, her free hand coming up to cover her mouth as if that alone could stop the flood and it couldn't.
Tears spilled freely, trailing down her cheeks as she crumbled.
She buried herself into the warmth of your embrace, fingers clutching onto the fabric of your clothing as if afraid you would disappear.
You didn’t.
After what felt like an eternity, she managed to choke out a single, broken whisper.
"Y-You’re so stupid."
You softly exhale, stroking her hair in slow, soothing motions. Your chirpy persona seemingly melting away into the air and finally, it felt like Shinobu was actually talking to you. And not some pitiful performer.
"I know."
And in that moment, grief did not feel so unbearably lonely.

May I ask for Sanemi fluff. I don't have any idea of what I want from it so just fluff. Thank you :3
ofc! I haven’t wrote for Sanemi in a while, so I hope you like it! ————————————————————————
“Will you be mine?”

warnings:not proofread
————————————————————————
You’ve been friends with Sanemi for a long time. You guys first met when you became a hashira. When you first saw him, you thought he was cute. Something in you brought you to him. At first he was cold towards you, but after a few months he warmed up to you and your friendship blossomed. Along with becoming friends with him, you became friends with Obanai.
When you realized you had feeling for him, you went to talk to Obanai. He told you there was a small chance he would ever like you back as he used to have a crush on a girl named Kanae. This crushed your spirits a bit, but it didn’t stop you from trying. You started hanging out with him more. The two of you hung out so much, if one of you wasn’t present with the other, people would question it.
Sanemi was slowly catching feeling for you. He tried to make himself lose feelings as he felt guilty for falling for someone else, but something about you wouldn’t allow him. The more the two of you hung out, the more he fell for you. He loved how kind you were, he loved your eyes, hair, and gosh your smile. Your smile brightened his whole day. He knew he couldn’t risk his time with you as he did before.
He prepared a lunch date with you, you however thought it was a regular hang out as he asked you to go to places with him before. As you were eating, you noticed how he barely touched his food. “Sanemi, are you okay?” It’s like he wasn’t there as when you said his name he jumped. “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.” You tilted your head at him and shrugged your shoulders.
At the end of lunch, you guys walked over to a small field of flowers. There was a peaceful silence between the two of you, as you admired the nature around you, Sanemi was admired by the way you looked standing infront of him. “Hey Y/n?” You swiftly turned towards him. “Yeah?” You smiled at him, inside it felt like your smile pushed away all of his nervousness. “Will you be mine?” Your eyes went wide, staring at the white haired man. “Of course!” You ran over and hugged him. As you pulled away, he planted a kiss to your lips, as if he was claiming you as his.
On your way back, you had an idea. You told Sanemi you needed to talk to Obanai. So the two of you went to find him, and when you did you ran up to him. “Obanai~ guess what.” He turned to you. “What Y/n?” You gave him a shit eating grin. “Sanemi asked me to be his, and I said yes!” He had a shocked look on his face. “Wow…well uh congrats.” You thanked him and walked off. Obanai was wrong about his dear friend, good thing you didn’t stop trying.

Now, Ezra wasn’t one to jump to conclusions, but what other conclusion was there?
You had to hate his guts. You refused to look at him and you wouldn’t talk to him, not to mention the glare you weren’t at all trying to hide. Sabine told him to not worry about it, that you would open up on your own time. Somehow, Ezra doubted that.
Hera told him something similar about giving you time, and he understood why; it’d only been a week since your grand and harrowing rescue from the clutches of the Hutts (the crew had yet to tell him why you needed rescuing in the first place).
A few months into joining the crew, it became clear that someone was missing. Sabine’s room held the belongings of another, another person’s blanket and pillow situated on the bottom bunk. An utterance of a stranger’s name was sometimes whispered, accompanied by shadowed looks and a tense silence.
When he got up the nerve to ask, Hera had pursed her lips and crossed her arms. “There’s a reason you’re Spectre 7, not 6. Six is… somewhere.”
“How do we find them?”
Hera hadn’t given an answer, simply letting out a sigh and turning to go back to her tasks.
So the mystery of Spectre 6 lived on, remnants of this girl coming to him in pieces. Little jokes here and there about how Six would yell about this or how she would laugh at that. Ezra started to piece together an image of this girl in his head, imagining a smiling figure with fuzzy features, doing flips and handstands across his mind.
“If only Six was here,” Zeb commented into his comlink as he and Ezra balanced across a skinny support beam. “Little acrobat would come in handy.”
Kanan and Sabine stayed up at odd hours of the night when they weren’t aware Ezra was watching from around the corner, mumbling to themselves as they scoured databases for clues as to where the lost Spectre had gone.
“Bingo,” Sabine grinned, frantically tapping Kanan’s arm. “The mercenaries that took her are from Corellia.”
Kanan set a hand on her shoulder. Hope flashed in his eyes. “Good work. We’ll get her back soon.”
Whoever she was, she sure meant a lot to the crew. So much so that he started to grow bitter at whatever had taken her away—Ezra started to want her back just as much as the rest of them.
And so naturally, when Vizago crawled out whatever hole he dwelled in to drop off a message from the Hutts, Ezra was a rapt listener—it went something along the lines of, “Take back your sewer rat… for five thousand Imperial credits.”
“We don’t have that money,” said Sabine, her voice a new dangerous low. Her eyes lasered in on the table before her as a sense of fury rose within the common.
Zeb scoffed, his fists curling. “Why weren’t the Hutts out first guess? Of course they wanted her back.”
“Why?” Ezra asked without thinking.
While Zeb’s eyes flashed darkly, Kana answered offhandedly, “Back before we found her, she worked for them—the Hutts—she was their prize weapon.”
“We got her out,” Hera said softly. “But a few weeks before you got here… she went out on a solo mission.” She hugged herself. “I shouldn’t have let her go.”
“She would’ve gone whether you let her or not,” Sabine quipped. “That’s how she is.”
Ezra stepped forward and set his hands on the table everyone gathered around, his eyes raising to assess his friends. “Let’s stop talking about it and make a plan. She can’t be safe there.”
The rescue mission itself was near flawless; Kanan and Hera went forward with a crate “full of credits.” Plot twist: there were no credits. Coming in behind them, Sabine and Chopper infiltrated the lower kitchens of the Hutts’ headquarters, taking out a few droids and taking one prisoner. With a few gentle threats, Sabine sent word to Zeb and Ezra exactly where Spectre 6 was being held.
That was where the plan went awry; while Zeb was held back by a wary yet naive droid, Ezra slipped past unnoticed, casting Zeb a wave as he dove around a corner and headed deeper into the fortress.
Finding the cell wasn’t much of a problem, nor was getting the door open—the problem at hand was getting you out of the cell.
You were curled into a shadowed corner like some kind of alley cat, eyes lifting to gaze upon him with nothing but contempt. From the moment he saw you, he had the sense you disliked his very being.
Somehow—he still wonders how—he managed to convince you he was with the Ghost crew, luring you out of the cell and leading you to where the others had started up a racket after getting caught with no payment. The final escape was slim, and your hair was singed from a too-close blaster fire.
Ezra noticed, eyes wide as he moved to swat at the slowly rising smoke. “Are you okay?”
You swatted him away, glare ready and waiting. “Fine.” And you disappeared, rushing deep into the ship with a frazzled Hera on your tail.
His every attempt at communication after was met with backlash. You really did seem like a cat in his mind, all hissy and skittish.
“Be patient,” is what everyone told him, but really, it was getting out of hand. After three months of your return, you had yet to drop your hatred, and it was starting to interfere in missions.
Just last week he’d been about to make a shot that would have saved time concerning a quick escape when you completely ignored his presence and tripped him.
“Sorry,” you’d said, not sounding very sorry at all.
That wasn’t the end of it either.
“Do you need something?”
“Go be useful, if you can.”
“Could you be more amazingly purposeless here?”
Ezra had to give it to you, you certainly had a knack for tearing down a guy’s self-esteem. Each insult seemed to roll off your tongue so easily that Ezra came to correlate your voice with a bad day.
You could not possibly have made Ezra feel more unwelcome, despite everyone’s assurances that you’d warm up eventually. Ezra started to question the crew’s definition of eventually. He really hoped you would start to like him soon, because you were quite possibly one fo the coolest people he’d ever seen.
When you weren’t actively making his life difficult, you were training day in and day out, practicing acrobatics atop the Ghost. Not to mention, if he and Kanan didn’t have some sixth sense thanks to the Force, your movements would be deadly silent. You moved like a specter, like your feet never even touched the ground.
Today was like most days in accordance with you; you ignored his existence save for the occasional backlash whenever he stepped into your vicinity, and Ezra was left to wonder after the dark and nearly forlorn look constantly trapped in your eyes (he always tried to despise you, like he could easily despise Zeb at times, but there was something in how lost you looked that stopped him).
Though, today was different. Every once in a while you took to the habit of taking his beloved helmet for reasons only the stars could know. On these days he could scour the Ghost to find you lazing about like a cat, donning his helmet as you stared at the expanse of sky from the gunner.
So he immediately set out for the gunner of the ship, already preparing his quippy remark, only to falter when you were nowhere in sight. Ezra squinted at the vacant seat, zeroing in on the dual beskar knives safely in their sheathes. Beskar, he awed for the umpteenth time. He’d asked after them too many times to count, only receiving one answer from Sabine: “We used to have similar lines of work. She was very skilled at hers. That came with perks.”
And the mystery of you expanded, as it always did.
“Hey.” Ezra looked into the dimness of your and Sabine’s room, finding the latter at her desk fiddling with her recently damaged blaster. “You seen Six?”
“Why?” She sighed as her blaster sparked up again. “You gonna start problems?”
“Okay, one, I never start anything with her. Two, I just want my helmet back.”
Sabine threw her blaster down, frustrated. “Haven’t seen her today. You checked the gunner?”
“Three times, just in case she was hiding.” That got a laugh from Sabine, who shifted to stand and stretch.
“Then I dunno how to help you, kid. She’s gotta be somewhere.”
That would have been fine advice, if for the rest of the day Ezra didn’t continue searching the recesses of the ship, his intent slowly shifting from demanding back his helmet to just making sure you’re still alive.
Ezra burst into the common room around the time the whole crew was gathering to grab something to eat at the end of the day, his hands planted on either side of the door as he said with a sudden urgency. “Has anyone seen Six?”
Sabine had the nerve to roll her eyes. “Again with the helmet? She’ll give it back—”
“Has anyone seen her?” Ezra cut in to demand once more, scanning his eyes across the room. “Think.”
Only a moment passed before the others started to furrow their brows and shift around. Hera glanced up at Ezra. “Not since this morning.”
A murmur of agreement ran through the crew. No one had seen her all day, neither had they heard her voice from across the ship, shouting about something or other that someone had done wrong.
Thus, the manhunt began, but even when everyone was shouting your name throughout the ship, there was no response. Lothal’s moons had already risen about halfway into the sky. Creatures started to come out at this hour, varying from the wild things to troopers.
You were out on the Lothal plains after dark, without your knives, and Ezra suddenly forgot every wrong you’d done against him. You were a pain in his ass, but if you were gone, he wasn’t sure what he’d do.
Setting out was the easy part, Hera and Chopper staying behind to watch the Ghost whilst the others rushed into the night, armed with their weapon of choice. Ezra took one of the stolen speeders stowed away in the hold, swinging a leg over and taking off across the plains as Sabine took the second speeder in the other direction.
Ezra tried to ignore the wind hitting his face and focused solely on the hum of the speeder, the sway of the tall grasses, and the sudden and faint flutter of a heartbeat somewhere in the distance. Over the course of his training with Kanan, Ezra took to secretly memorizing the sound of your spirit, not wanting to be on the receiving end of your notorious sneak attacks.
Practically shutting off everything other sense, he leaned to the right, following the ringing of your heart and soul deeper into the plains. The grasses grew taller here, unhindered by farming, and rocks stretched high into the sky, forming a sort of labyrinth between them. He weaved the speeder in and out of several stone mountains, sensing the ring growing closer.
The ground elevated into a slope as the rocks fell away to reveal dusty ground, and Ezra took a left at the very last large mountain. It opened up to a bluff overlooking the East. Ezra slowed the speeder to a light rev, the ringing now a strong buzz, and your heart a steady beat in his head.
You were here, that was for sure.
Cutting the ignition, Ezra stepped off the speeder and sauntered forward, eyes scanning the area. Just when the buzz and ring of the force grew too much, Ezra caught a movement ahead of him, and the sounds all fell away. A figure was sprawled out on the grass, shifting every few seconds like they couldn’t get comfortable.
Then the figure sighed, and Ezra confirmed it was you (he’d heard that agitated sound enough times to know it as yours).
Ezra should have learned by now to proceed with extreme caution, but he had always been a stubborn learner, so he trudged through the grass uncaring of the crunching underfoot. You lurched upward like a frightened animal, eyes locked on him in her instant. Ezra instantly drew a mental image of a loth cat, hackles risen and fangs bared. The likeness was uncanny.
“What’re you doing here?” You sat back slowly, examining him carefully.
He nearly scoffed. “I was about to ask you the same thing.”
Blinking blankly, you turned and plopped down on the grass, facing the plains. He stood for an awkward few moments before you snapped, “I’m fine. You can go.”
“Yeah, right.” He plopped down in the dirt beside you, a generous berth between you. “You scared the kark out of everyone.”
Your answer was instantaneous. “Why?”
Ezra paused, thought some, looked at you, and spat the awkward words out. “We care about you.”
You waited for the blow, the butt of the joke, but it never came, and you were left awkwardly staring at his profile. “Oh.”
“Is that a surprise?” he wondered.
“No,” you shook your head. “Not for the others…”
Ezra rolled his eyes and leaned back on his hands, unable to take it any longer. “Can I ask you something? Why do you hate me so much?”
You blinked as if the question shocked you, and wasn’t at all valid. “What? I don’t hate you.”
“Coulda fooled me,” he scoffed. You huffed and turned away, crossing your arms over your knees.
“Well, I don’t. You’re just…”
“Just what?”
Pursing your lips, your eyes darted back to meet his, brows furrowed. “Annoying.”
Ezra met your gaze back with a mirrored intensity. “And you’re rude.”
“I wouldn’t be if you’d leave me alone.”
“We’re on this crew together!” he snapped. “I physically cannot ignore you. So, if you could get over whatever grudge you have against me, that’d be great!”
“Don’t—” You got a grip on your emotions, averting your attention to the sky. In a softer tone, you warned, “Don’t yell at me.”
Taken aback, Ezra gave you an odd look, shifting to catch your eye. You just shifted further away from him, grunting something under your breath. You’d always been so haunted and withdrawn. No one would ever tell him why.
It couldn’t hurt to ask.
“Are you…” He hesitated, waiting till you cast him a glance. “Are you okay? Why were you with the Hutts? And what does it have to do with bounty hunters? Why—”
You sneered as your hand clamped down on his mouth, nearly knocking him backward. Holding his eyes in a glare, you huffed. “Just shut up, okay? You ask too many questions.” You plopped back down and retracted your hand. “Annoying, like I said.”
“I want to help you.”
“Did I ask?”
The silence was thick, broken only by the chirping of bugs in the tall stalks all around. You ran a hand over your face, almost trying to hide, before sighing and glaring at the sky. “Whatever… I used to be something of a bounty hunter. A weapon, more like.”
Ezra felt like that should have been obvious, and did his best to hold back his questions as you shifted uncomfortably. “Some bad people with the Guild found me as a kid, when I was just some nobody doing acrobat tricks for money. They thought I had potential, so they just… took me. Didn’t really matter. It was better than the streets, I guess.”
Tugging at your hair, you gave a little shrug. “They taught me a lot about killing and stealing and what-not. Long story short, I was sold to the Hutts like this shiny new assassin toy.” You pumped a fist. “Yay.”
He felt a little bad for grinning, sniffing as he nodded. “Then what? You got here somehow.”
“I’m getting there,” you gritted. You tried to look pissed, but couldn’t hold back a slight grin. “Sabine found me, like, a year before they found you. She was on a mission, and I tried to pick-pocket her. She chased me a mile around the city before she caught me.  A shorter story short, the crew helped me escape the Hutts, and the rest is history.”
One thing still didn’t add up. “How’d the Hutts get you back?”
“Oh, uhm… they caught me.” There is was again; haunted, a shadow crossing your eyes as memories played up in your head. “I, uh, didn’t think the crew would come after me, to be honest. I kinda resigned myself to a life trapped on Tatooine.”
You caught his eye. “Then you showed up and broke me out.”
“Was that such a surprise?”
“Maybe. I mean,” you murmured whilst playing with the grass. “It didn’t take too long for them to replace me, did it?”
And suddenly, it all fell perfectly into place. All the hatred and coldness, the malice and contempt… you thought they’d replaced you. Really? Ezra coudln’t stop the laugh bubbling out of his chest, not even when you shot him a deathly glower.
“What’s so funny?”
“You just—What?” Ezra shifted ot his knees, beaming down at you as he shook his head. “They never replaced you. All I ever heard when I joined was about this mysterious crewmate they’d lost.” He flicked your forehead. “If they replaced you, then why’re you still Spectre 6 and I’m Spectre 7?”
You started to snap back only to stop short, gaping like a fish as you grasped for some kind of defense. You couldn’t find one, apparently, and promptly snapped your mouth shut.
“I never thought of that,” you muttered at last.
No duh. Ezra barely held back a roll of his eyes. “Think about it then.”
You did (he could tell form your thoughtful sneer) and you slowly raised your gaze to look at him again. The haunting was still there, but your eyes were softer than they’d ever been when laid upon him. “I’m… sorry.” The way your face scrunched up amde it seem like ti was painful to say, your monotone going on, “The way I’ve treated you hasn’t been fair.”
“Thanks,” he said with a gentle nod, and an awkwardness settled around the pair of you. “So… wanna head back?”
Instantly you shook you head, returning your attention to the sky. “Not yet. Wanna watch the stars.”
He noticed your lack of jacket just as he shivered. “You’ve gotta be cold.”
“Eh,” you shrugged. “I’m fine. You can head back if you want.”
Ezra didn’t move an inch. All he could think wa sthat maybe, he was finally going to get to know the Six the crew knew. The one who laughed freely and pulled tricks. The one that played hide and seek with Kanan and was always so frustrated when he cheated and used to force to find you.
So he stayed right where he was, lazing back on the grass to have a better view of the sky. “Nah. I’ll stay.”
You cast him a short glance as you laid back as well. “Okay…”
Only an hour later, when you’d fallen asleep and punched Ezra when he tried to wake you (“I’m sorry!” “Yeah, yeah.”), did you and Ezra head back to the Ghost. You kept falling asleep on him, forcing him to use one hand to steer the speeder and the other to keep you hands around his middle.
Relief coursed through him when he caught sight of the ship, warm light flowing from the open hatch, a few silhouetted figures pacing back and forth. He pulled the speeder to a stop and leg you go, sighing even as you slid off and hit the ground with a thud.
Probably not the best choice, especially not when Hera bolted from where she sat and rushed to your side. “What happened? It she all right?” She glared up from the ground. “Ezra!”
He raised his hands in surrender, trying to defend himself, when you groaned and blinked blearily around. “Why am I on the ground…?”
Hera gripped your shoulder and held your face in her palm, startling you. “Are you okay?”
You nodded hesitantly and tried not to seem too content with the soft touches. “Yeah? I was just asleep.”
Harsh footsteps echoed form the ship and out stomped Zeb moments later, rough around the edges per usual. “Where’ve you been!?”
“Uhm, out?” you replied, brows vaulted as Sabine rushed out beyond him. The whole crew stood around, all looking a mix of relieved and pissed. “I was just up on the bluffs…”
Hera let out a sigh and allowed you to sit up on your own. “And that’s fine, but you should tell someone before you disappear all afternoon.”
“I didn’t think it mattered that much.” You shifted around and stood to your feet, crossing your arms over your chest.
No one really said anything, only exchanged odd glances, until Hera blinked quickly and set a hand on your shoulder. “You look cold. Come on.”
She made to guide you inside when you suddenly stopped, turned to Ezra, and grinned tightly. “You’re… not so bad.”
And with that, Hera dragged you into the warmth fo the Ghost, leaving behind you a fairly confused crew. All eyes fell to Ezra as he smirked and gave a simple shrug. Sabine offered up a smile of her own before she snapped and pointed at the boy. “Oh, you were looking for your helmet right?”
He’d completely forgotten. “Oh, yeah.”
She passed a hand over his hair, ruffling it up. “It’s under your desk, idiot.”
Ezra huffed, hiding the flush in his cheeks as he muttered under his breath, following after Zeb and Sabine as they headed inside the ship. The hatch rose up behind them and hissed shut just as Kanan came up beside Ezra, one brow raised.
“So you two are friends now?”
He rolled his eyes at that. “I think so? She’s very cryptic. But, I don’t think she hates me.”
Kanan laughed. “That’s a start, I suppose.”
Ezra had to agree.
And as time would pass, and your walls slowly tore down to reveal a human so bright and radiant, both you and Ezra nearly forgot all about the days you’d come close to murdering him.

Record of Ragnarok x Gyomei!Reader
Probably when they all are just chilling and the Reader talks about their Past before they became a Hashira. And how when they became a Hashira saved Shinobu and Kanae for the Demon that killed their parents. And maybe the Reader talks about their Tsuguko Genya.
-Just looking at you, anyone could tell you were a powerful warrior, with your massive height, your large muscles, and the weapon you carried to deal with demons that got out of Helheim.
-However, you were such a cute softy! You loved cats, you cried at the smallest things, and you would prefer the pacifist route in an altercation, and despite your strength and skills- you were blind!
-The few friends you made knew that you were a wonderful person, and just because you were blind, it didn’t mean you were any less than they were- you could handle the warriors who would come to you, both gods and humans, wanting to spar and you would give them a good workout.
-Susanoo and Leonidas were the two you were particularly close with, as they liked your vibe, you were strong when you needed to be, but so mellow and you were easy to talk to.
-You were sitting under a tree, where you had planned to meet them, when you heard a soft meow and you felt the pressure of a cat on your lap, and you were quickly in tears, your hands before you in a praying motion, “I am truly blessed.”
-Laughter was the next thing you heard before you felt arms wrap around you neck in a side hug, “Y/N~ you’re crying again.”
-It was Loki, who was crashing the party as he reached down to scratch the cat behind his ears, making him purr contently before you heard Leonidas, “Oi- did you make Y/N cry ag- no it’s a cat.”
-Loki laughed warmly, not being the cause of something bad for once, as you were crying because you were so happy.
-Susanoo greeted you as he arrived, holding a bottle of hard liquor for the four of you to share. You originally weren’t going to indulge, but one drink wasn’t going to hurt.
-Loki had invited himself after he heard that you would be talking about your time on earth, with the Demon Slayer Corps.
-You didn’t speak much about yourself, once you got started, you told them about Shinobu and Kanae, how you saved them after their parents were killed and how each of them became a powerful Hashira in their own rights.
-Then you told them about Genya, who was your protégé, someone you were proud to train, something they could easily see, as you looked so happy, so at peace, talking about him.
-You couldn’t help but chuckle, “Even though it’s like cats and dogs, Genya and his brother Sanemi are very close to each other. It’s good to have someone like that- a brother- a lifelong friend.”
-Susanoo, who had the cat in his arms, making faces at it while the cat was completely chill, “You’re like that for me Y/N- you’re a lifelong friend!”
-Leonidas was annoyed as you started crying again, not at you, as he knew that you had a big heart, he was annoyed at Loki laughing and poking harmless fun at you.
-You were a good friend to all of them, including the cat!

..CHAPTER 4 || CHAPTER 5! || CHAPTER 6..
────────────────────────────
To your surprise, the school day went by in an instant. Not that it bothers you, you're actually quite happy about that!
The bell rang and that was the students' signal to start going crazy and battle to be the first one to exit the classroom.
Normally, you sit and wait maybe talk to your best friend but he's still in his mood or whatever.
The situation caused a sigh to escape your mouth, resting your head in your palm as you began to think about different ways on how to solve it.
But your train of thought was stopped when a certain boy entered your classroom.
"Y/N! Muichiro!"
His voiced alerted both of you as your heads' turned into his direction.
"Are you both ready? Everyone is waiting outside." He asked, walking up to you specifically.
Muichiro let out a small yes while you nodded your head.
Tanjiro grabbed your wrist and began to walk up behind Muichiro as you three left the classroom.
Maybe Tanjiro thinks you will run away from them or maybe he didn't believe your big smile from this morning because right now he's slowly turning towards your direction with his signature smile!
"Hello to you to.. Tanjiro.." You mumbled, giving him a smile.
"Hi Y/N. You're not okay are you.." He mumbled back.
You finally decided to stop act and broke the ice.
"I will tell you later, let's just focus on getting to the cafe." You confessed, which was enough for Tanjiro.
──────────────
You three had finally met up with the others and now the group is making their way towards the cafe!
But oh boy..
A certain colorful eyed man who you knew so much, has landed his eyes on the group.
"Would you all like to eat at our restaurant?" He said, slowly making his way towards you all.
"Not YOU again.." You said, sending him the bad eye.
"Oh its you.. You brought your friends! How thoughtful, how about you-" He began to ramble and grabbed a menu from who knows where, but Muichiro had alot to tell him.
"We don't want to eat at your nasty restaurant. Goodbye." Muichiro said, staring him dead in his eyes for a bit, then began to walk away.
As we all passed by the man, ignoring his presence, besides Tanjiro who gave him a small sorry.
Ignoring what happened, you all finally made it to the cafe!
You was the first to walk up to door and pushed it open.
The small bell rang, alerting the couple inside their their friends arrived.
"You're here!" Mitsuri exclaimed as she ran to you all to give yall a big hug!
And in return you all gave a big smile!
"I'm really grateful for everything you all have done!" She continued, giving you a small kiss on the cheek, which instantly made your day better.
She also gave Muichiro a tight hug, it looked like Muichiro was dying.
She finally sat everyone down but then! You got a text!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You came off your phone and notice that Muichiro sat himself right beside you. Mitsuri came up to you both and brought cupcakes.
"The both of you get to choose first!" She said.
You took the cupcake with the cherry on top, so you can eat the cherry.
The silent was enjoyable in the cafe, the afternoon sun entered through the window, adding to the comforting mood.
The bell from the door sadly broke the silence and Mitsuri was the first to speak.
"The cafe is close sorry!- Wait Kanae!" She said as her eyes landed on the lady.
"Sorry for arriving late I was still correcting homework.." She said as Shinobu came up to her, helping her with her bag.
From your field of vision you had noticed that Sanemi was about to help her, but saw when Shinobu went instead.
You kinda felt bad for him. Kinda.
But out of the kindness of Kanae's heart, she sat beside the man and greeted him with her sweet smile.

BaB / FoH / Blink of an Eye ✶
Aquamarine Hoshino x Reader
Tumblr media
This is PART FIVE, check out other parts in the link below!
REQUIEM: Sixth New Genesis!
What's to come: [established relationship], [reader is a member of B-Komachi], [a bit of filler...]
[Songs of the Chapter: "STAR T☆RAIN" by B-Komachi, "Gimmie Chocolate!!" by BABYMETAL, and "Dramaturgy" by Eve.]
[8,239 words]
“What are you… doing here?” You ask Akane, who latched on you the moment she heard your voice.
“Ahh!! [name], I haven’t seen you in so long! I missed you so much!” Akane cried out, sobbing into your shoulder, “And when I saw what you had texted me, I had to make my way over here!”
“Ohoho?? Well, long time no see to you too, Akane!” Memcho laughed, “You two seem to be having a moment, so I’ll see myself out for now! See you later!!!” She laughed some more, running away to what you can only assume is the direction towards Ruby and Kana.
“Y-You saw my text?” You mumbled, “But you didn’t open it so I thought that…”
“Well I kind of wanted it to be a surprise.” She smiled softly as she pulled away from the hug, “Now what I want you to know is that what happened last night isn’t your fault, and I’m so grateful that you came clean to me as soon as you could. Now…” She signaled to the door.
“O-Oh yeah, you can come inside! Well it’s not my house, but I’m sure they won’t mind.”
“Thank you, [name].” She smiled again, walking inside the large home. You followed closely behind her.
When you did, you saw Aqua again. Still sitting at the kitchen’s table. You looked back at Akane, but before you knew it, she was across the room, right in front of Aqua.
“Oh, Akane. You’re here too.” Aqua mumbled, a little shocked with how fast Akane came close to him. He quickly stood up, making Akane look up to him rather than the other way around. She smiled when he stood up, on her tippy toes she gave him a kiss on the cheek before backing away, “That’s for saving me during my controversy, and for technically being my boyfriend.”
And before you knew it,
SLAP!
A loud noise echoed across the room. Your jaw dropped when you saw Akane’s hand swiftly fly across Aqua’s face. He looked almost as shocked as you were.
“And that’s for trying to kiss my partner while they're most vulnerable.” She states simply, quickly making her way back towards you, “Let me know if he gives you any more trouble, [name].” She turned towards Aqua, “Actually, both of you. Don’t go harassing each other.”
Partner? You blushed when that one meaningful word escaped her lips.
She held your hand before kissing your lips for a split second, “I’ll be your number one fan, [name]. Tell me all about B-Komachi, I can stay here for a few more minutes. And if I can get to your concert, I’ll be sure to be right at the front! But no promises that I’ll be there, unfortunately I have a heavy schedule these days.”
“Really? My oshi color is blue! Just like your hair!” You smile, keeping her hand right in yours. It felt as if you were back in your old life, right next to Hanae.
“Aww, that’s so sweet of you!”
“I missed talking to you in real life.”
“I missed you.”
“Well I missed you more!”
“Nuh uh”
While you and Akane were stuck in an endless loop of lovey dovey-ness, Aqua was still in quite the shock from the slap. He felt his right cheek sting, but what stung more was his heart. ‘That should be me with you there, not Akane.’ is what he thought, but seeing you happy was enough for him. Your smile looked exactly like Ai’s, just like how Ai used to smile at him when she was alive.
He could wait a little longer before that was him with you.
Just like that, the few minutes you had with Akane slipped away in what it felt like only a few seconds. Akane waved her goodbye as the car parked in front of Aqua’s house swiftly left without a honk.
“Well that was unexpected.” Aqua said, sitting back down in his chair, “Oh and, [name]. I’m sorry about what happened last night.”
“You should be.” You muttered, taking a seat next to him, “But as long as Akane forgives you, then I do too. I guess…”
That’s when your phone buzzed from inside your pocket. It was from Akane! It read: “I’m sorry I said partner so suddenly, it was in the moment and I apologize again if it was too much. I may have sounded too forward, but I really do mean it! But we barely spend any time together anymore, so I think that, looking back on my actions, it would be better if I had your answer first!
However, I do think it would be best if both of us were to focus on our careers. It would be horrible if something were to happen to any of us because of a crazed fan!
…and also I believe that me, you, and Aqua could work out together;;; let me know what you think..!! It might sound crazy I’m sorry :( it’s also okay if you don’t want anything in general!
By the way, you look beautiful as always.
PS. If Aqua does anything like that again I’ll beat him up for you!
PSPS. I am legally supposed to write this down because of my higher ups besides the last few parts. I’m sorry. (TTYS!)
PSPSPS. I am also legally obliged to say that what I meant about beating up Aqua was a joke. Love you!”
You smiled at your phone while you read her text, though your smile turned into a frown when you fully wrapped your head around it. It’s so stupid that they’re controlling her love life.
But from now on, you wouldn’t have to feel the burden of hurting Hanae— Akane by leading people on because the two of you aren’t in an official relationship! Well… you were already doing that in the first place but…
Anything for Han— I mean- Akane.
You took a deep breath before speaking to Aqua again, “Aquamarine Hoshino, from now on, consider us partners as well☆! I just got Akane’s approval, so now I won’t feel so guilty if something ever happens between the two of us.” You smirk, slowly pushing a part of his bangs behind his ear.
His face was brushed with blush after your touch, it was honestly kind of cute, but not that cute…
“Alright.” He replied, pulling your hand away from him.
You couldn’t sense anything from him. As in: you couldn’t tell if he was angry, sad, or annoyed. Which, for someone as experienced as you, was strange. Hopefully he’s not upset with you… maybe he could already tell that you’re just leading him on?
Ehh, so be it.
˚⋆୨ ✶ ୧⋆˚
After a somewhat filling breakfast with the girls, Miyako hurled you and the rest of B-Komachi with a cart full of luggage into her van. The ride there was sweet, Ruby and Mem were singing B-Komachi’s recently learned songs, Kana was looking out the window in silence, and Aqua was sitting in the back next to her presumably scrolling through content on his phone. Meanwhile, you were sitting in the front seat next to Miyako while scrolling through the endless hype tweets you were getting from social media.
“Anata no aidoru…” Ruby started to sing the next song that played on the karaoke CD.
“Sain wa B!” Mem sang along with her, putting her hand in hers. They were smiling and giggling.
“Chu!” You murmur instinctively, blushing a little bit when realizing what you just said.
“Oh my gosh!! [name] said it– I mean, [alias] said it!! They said the thing!!!” Ruby gleefully shouted, getting up from her seat to shake your shoulders from behind.
“Even though it was supposed to be my line!” Kana complained jokingly, looking away from the window to you with a smirk on her lips. The boy sitting next to her looking over to you as well.
“I’m sorry! I won't do it on the stage.. It’s just so catchy and– You weren’t even going to say it!”
“You don’t know that!”
“Well if you waited any longer you would’ve been off count!” You slyly reply, you knew what you said was a bit too much, but it was in the moment.
“Oh shut up!!” Kana whined, throwing a plastic water bottle towards your head. She promptly got a scolding from Miyako about driving safety, which made the other girls tense up with you giggling and Aqua having a back and forth with her.
A few more minutes passed until Miyako pulled into the packed parking lot of the convention. She parked her minivan into the smallest crevice she could find, making it almost impossible to slip out from her car, but you made it.
“Alright girls, we’re going to the dressing rooms,” Miyako announced, rustling with her map, “Which I think is… that way.” She points towards the door with the pink door frame, “Oh wait, actually it might be that building.”
“Here Miyako, let me look. I’m great with maps!” Memcho sings, “Okay… so if we’re at the entrance now… wait- we’re next to that big tree, nevermind, it’s not even on the map. Uhh.. What about that statue?”
“It shouldn’t be that hard to figure out a map.” Kana sighs, pulling out her phone. “Literally just look at the email they sent us. See, look! We’re supposed to be going into the Yoisaki Tower.”
“I know that, Kana!!!” Memcho sighs, “It just doesn’t say where it is!”
“Oh there it is!” Ruby says, pointing to the sign that points towards the red-ish building, “It wasn’t that hard!”
“Oh.”
“That's what you call tunnel vision” You laugh, “Come one, let’s go!” You pull your suitcase towards the entrance.
The dressing room looked like hell, and it felt like hell as well. There were, what felt like, millions of girls stuffed into one floor. Many of which were crying, fanning themselves, or jumping around.
“Oh my god, this is heaven! There’s so many pretty girls wearing pretty dresses! Oh my god, I just can’t!” Ruby squealed, leaning against you, “[alias], hold me!” You laugh along, grabbing Ruby’s shoulders.
“There's an empty table over there, it should say B-Komachi and if it doesn’t, go ask the staff where you should put your stuff down. I have a huge plate on my hands right now, so if you girls could take care of that stuff and change your clothes accordingly, then that would be amazing.” Miyako said, tapping away at her phone as she mutters something under her breath, “You guys are on at 8 PM, so in about 6 hours? Prepare yourselves please!” She smiled at the four of you before quickly running off towards a man wearing a headset.
“Ahh!! Isn’t this exciting?! The full idol experience!” Ruby shouts, jumping around, “Ohh!! We should watch some shows, it’ll be so fun– and we have so much time!! Arrgh! I just can’t wait!!!”
“That’s great, Ruby, but maybe we should put our stuff down first.” Kana says, pulling Ruby towards the empty table.
“I wonder where Aqua is right now.” You say out loud, following the two girls with Memcho and your suitcase.
“Oh? Do you like him?” Mem giggles.
“Ah… well. Not really, it’s just that. If we’re all here, then where is he? I mean, even Miyako is here. I was just wondering, that’s all.”
“Well it seems like you’re thinking about him all the time! You must have a cruuush!!~” Mem says, nudging your side.
“What??! Me? No… No way, if anyone likes Aqua then it has to be Kana! Have you seen the way they are together? It’s crazy!”
“Well… I guess you do have a point, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t like him!”
“Oh please, Mem, I’m in a good and dedicated and nice relationship with Akane.”
“Yeah sure you do… definitely didn’t overhear you talking with Aqua about you know… the opening up of the relationship~”
“What?”
“Yeah I was there!”
“Uhm…” Your face turns red, “We should… stop talking now.”
“Anything you say, boss man.” Mem laughs, walking towards the other girls much faster than the two of you were going originally.
“Ah! Don’t call me that– but in other words,” You smile, catching up to her, “Did you see them? *Jump Jump More are here! We could definitely catch their show!”
“Maybe you should catch it with Aqua!”
“Memcho!!!”
˚⋆୨ ✶ ୧⋆˚
There are approximately 10 more minutes until you and the girls get to be on the Star Stage. The outfit you were wearing was red, just like the other girls. The tie you had on was unique in the sense that it was one of the long ones, the bottom half of your outfit has a half skirt, and you had leggings underneath them. Not to mention your mask looked entirely different: you had commissioned a friend to 3D print a replica with a strong resin mold and paint it blue to match your lightstick.
You couldn’t take your eyes away from the mirror in front of you, this had been the first time B-Komachi had all been in outfits together, all in one place. “We look beautiful.”
“I feel like I’m going to throw up” Memcho sighs.
“Oh my god- I am not that ugly!!!” You whine.
“Oh no, not you. It’s just that… I’m so not ready to go out there.” Mem sobs, putting her hands over her face, “I feel like I’m going to throw up!”
“Memcho, snap out of it already!” Ruby shouts, shaking her shoulders back and forth, “We’re going to go out there and we’re going to blow their brains out with how cool we are! And we’re going to have a million fans after this show because we’re just so amazing!!!”
“Ruby, you’re crazy… and so out of it.” Kana sighs, “But I’m scared too… what about you, [alias]?”
“I’m so excited to be on the stage☆!” You smile underneath your mask.
“You’re totally lying, I get it.” Kana snarkily laughs, pushing your shoulder, “It’s good to have a positive outlook.”
“If I throw up, we should all throw up together so that it looks synchronized and on purpose so that the fans will think we’re cool and that we were trying to send a message-” Memcho rambles
“I think we broke her.” Kana murmurs, “And we’re on in a few minutes… this is insane.”
“Snap out of it Mem!!!!” Ruby shouts again, “Come on!”
The girls continue to argue and chat as you zone out completely. Your second life had played out just like this and it went on terribly. Exactly like this. Would you die again? Right here, in front of… you don’t know how many people are out here, but this is the 21st century! Technology has changed and so has the stage light strength industry…probably.
But then again, maybe a screw is loose and it’ll fall on top of you, crushing every bone in your body, and your corpse will be as flat as paper. Then again, maybe it’d crush a different member, but you wouldn’t want any of the girls to be hurt, so maybe it would be best for it to just crush you instead. Though that would also be horrible because you’d have to wait another whatever years to see Hanae again–
Right, Hanae. This concert has to be perfect so she can find you. So you can find her… and a name as famous as B-Komachi would definitely attract her. You’d be able to find her and have your happy ending.
Before you could spiral deeper into your thoughts, one of the staff members’ voice boomed, “Alright, B-Komachi, you’re up.”
Ruby grabbed your hand and put on a smile as incredible as Ai’s. Hand in hand, you and your friends walked onto the stage together. The moment you step foot onto the stage, the crowd cheered, and they cheered loud. You scanned the hundreds of people to see if you could make out a single recognizable face, whether it be Akane, Hanae, or even Aqua, you didn’t really care, but you didn’t find any. Though on the other hand, you felt happy seeing tons of people waving blue lightsticks in the air, shouting your name.
The sea of people had a mix of three primary colors. A majority had blue for you, a good chunk had yellow for Memcho, and the other noticeable amount had red for Ruby. You didn’t see many white lightsticks, like at all. You felt really bad for Kana.
The happiness didn’t last long though, your head instantly went up, looking at the stage lights on top of you. They looked good, and really bright. A few more seconds passed by before you felt Kana pull you to your designated spot.
Rumors spread around the dressing room about the Star stage, and they proved to be correct. It was incredibly hot and stuffy. You hadn’t even started performing yet!
“We are STAR T☆RAIN!” The song started soon after that thought left your mind, instinctively, your arms and legs started moving in sync with the other girls. You felt like butter. You’ve practiced this song almost a million times, so you felt like your moves were as smooth and as silky as *butter! You smiled, and though your fans wouldn’t be able to see it underneath your mask, it felt amazing. All your worries seemed to have faded away, all you could think about was this extremely catchy song.
“Check! Now!” You sang along, your stomach felt like a dozen butterflies just hatched you, in a good way, “Come on, come on, come on, come on!”
“We are STAR T☆RAIN!”
What a wonderful night you were going to have.
The four of you performed two other songs during your concert. You saw Kana light up when she saw Aqua do his little *wotagei dance, Ruby and Mem’s lightsticks in one hand, Kana and your’s in another. It was really cute when she smiled, it made you smile as well.
Waving goodbye to your fans, you felt giddy inside. Your fears of stage lights completely vanished after you left the stage. B-Komachi’s fans and yours made you feel whole.
“Ahhh!!! What a thrill!” Ruby cheered, “We did so good!”
“And we didn’t throw up!” Memcho chimed in, jumping up and down.
“Yeah, I think that’s normal.” Kana sighs, looking out the window next to her.
“It’s such a shame that we couldn’t stay longer and watch the other concerts.” You sigh, finally getting in the back of the car to take your mask off. You take a deep breath in, completely forgetting you were sitting next to Aqua.
“That’s on you. I watched a ton.” Aqua said to you, a small smirk on his lips.
“Oh shut up!!” You playfully complain, punching his arm. “I didn’t even know where you were.”
“Oh, so you were going to watch them with me?” Aqua laughs, looking into your eyes. Which this time, didn’t make you as uncomfortable as it did the first time you met.
“I was just kind of bummed out that Akane didn’t show up.”
“She did though, just not for B-Komachi’s concert because it was too late.”
“What??! Really? You should’ve texted me! I would’ve given her a private concert or something!! She hasn’t ever seen me in my idol outfit before… what a bummer.” You whine, leaning your head against his shoulder.
“Well I hadn’t ever seen you in that outfit either, and I thought it looked good.” He said, instantly you felt a blush come across your cheeks. You pull away from his shoulder, staring at Memcho who was giving you a suggestive look. Kana on the other hand looked like she was about to break down. You wonder how she’s feeling, “Also, it would probably be important if I told you that I lied and she didn’t show up, or she did but I didn’t see her.”
“I hate you.”
“That’s too bad.”
-End of Become_a_Butterfly
“Hi Aqua!” You say giddily, popping your head out from the door in front of him, “I heard you and Akane are going on a date together! Actually, I heard it from Akane herself and she said that I could join the two of you☆!!”
“I don’t have anything against that.” Aqua replied, shrugging your words off. He muttered something under his breath as well, but you didn’t exactly care enough to ask him to repeat it.
“We haven’t spent any time together in like 2 days! And we haven’t spent any good quality time together in a few weeks!” You shake your head in glee, latching onto his arm, “Let’s walk over there together so it’s like a double gift!”
“I don’t even know what that means, but okay.” Aqua smirks, letting your touch sink in.
The walk there was extremely pleasant, it was a sunny day with people all over Tokyo. Small talk didn’t feel as awkward as it did a few months ago and not having your mask on out in public felt even better. The arm you had on Aqua was quickly pulled away after Akane was in your line of site.
Running towards the cafe, you almost tripped over your feet, but Aqua caught you, arms intermingled with yours. Your face morphed into a red tomato in embarrassment as you thanked him, shuffling more carefully towards the cafe this time.
“[name], Aqua! You’re finally here!” Akane smiled, “Thank you so much for agreeing to come, and of course, [name], you won’t need to be in any of the pictures.”
“If you asked me to be in a picture, I would say yes. Anything for you!!!” You cheer, hugging Akane tightly, “☆But that probably isn’t a good idea haha…”
“Yes, thanks for having us and finding this place.” Aqua says, pulling up a chair next to him, “This place looks very… expensive.”
“Well it’s not! It’s pretty affordable, well… for someone that makes as much money as us… so I guess not that affordable, but that’s fine! Right?”
“I think that it’s perfectly fine! I’m like totally loaded,” You butt in, rubbing your cheek against Akane’s palm like a cat, “I can even pay for you too, go easy on me though… I don’t want to spend too much”
“So I’m not worth that much?”
“What!!? No way! I’m sorry you can spend-“
“I was only kidding.” Akane giggles, pulling her palm away to cover her mouth as she smiles. “Oh! I wish I could’ve seen you on stage, but I was so busy… it’s my life’s biggest regret.”
“Awwhh! Akane, you’re too kind! I feel like my heart’s going to explode out of my chest!”
“Alright, alright.” Aqua sighs, pulling out one of the flimsy menus from the table’s side, “I don’t plan on staying here for too much longer if the only thing the two of you are going to do is love bomb each other.”
“This isn’t love bombing!” You murmur, pulling away from Akane, “But I guess it would be good to order something.”
“Great idea, why don’t you get me something sweet, [name]? I’m okay with anything.” She smiles, pulling a menu out from the table’s side as well.
“Okay… you don’t have any allergies, right? Right. Hmm… why not get this month’s special? It looks super cute! It even has a cat shaped sweet on the top!” You say, pointing to the large image plastered on the menus second page.
“I was thinking of getting that too.” Aqua chimed in, closing the menu in front of him.
“Alright then! So we’re getting three of the… Strawberry Kitty Parfait’s. What a cute name they have.” Akane giggles, talking to the server that just walked up to your table. With a smile and a nod, the server quickly left with her notepad. It was only a few minutes later when the server would come back with three parfaits on a tray. Placing it gently down before she bowed and took her leave.
“Woah these look so cute..!!!” You gasp, picking one up with your left hand, your right struggling to open the camera on your phone, “They totally look the exact same as they did on the menu! That’s pretty rare these days.”
Akane notices your phone and takes hers out as well, “Aqua, we should all take a picture together!” She smiles softly, “You too, [name]! I won't post the one that you’re in though, so don’t worry.” You agree with a small nod as Akane quickly snaps a few photos. They came out… okay. Aqua was inexpressive as usual, Akane was amazingly cute as usual, and you were also there.
“They look nice.” Aqua stated, finally putting the parfait to his mouth, “And it tastes okay.”
“I think you’re the cutest, [name].” Akane teases, putting her parfait down, “I’ll just add a few filters… isn’t this one cute? It gives me and Aqua pink cat ears!” You agree with her as she continues to edit her photos for the next few minutes while Aqua starts to look bored.
“Oh uhm!!” You stutter out, “I think Aqua looks nice here...” A slight blush reddens your face in embarrassment. You couldn’t believe the words that just left your mouth, why are you trying to be nice? “And the cute little filter really… brings out your eyes.”
“I think I’d really rather not be complimented than hear any of that again.” Aqua groaned playfully, resting his chin in the palm of his left hand as he stared at the two of you.
“You are such an asshole.” You rolled your eyes and smiled as you lightly punched his arm, “It’s hard to compliment a dumb face like yours, y’know? Just take it and be happy. I bet all my other fans would do it.”
“Who said I was your fan?”
“With the way you danced with my light stick in hand, I’d say you’d have to be my fan! Or at the very least, B-Komachi’s fan!” You suddenly put a hand over your mouth. Darn… you’re usually so careful about that stuff when you’re out in public! “Is what I would say if I was a popular idol… which I definitely am not..!!”
“It’s okay, [name]. I doubt anyone overheard.” Akane comforts you, putting a hand to your back, “But… even if Aqua isn’t a fan of yours, I still am! You don’t need to worry at all.” A cute smirk pulls up to her lips, as she uses her other hand to take a bite of her parfait.
“That’s right! I don’t need a stinky man like you at all, Aqua.” You say as you shake your head around and stick your tongue out.
“Now you’re just acting childish.” Aqua sighs, leaning his body back against his chair. With that… he locked eyes with Kana. Who was rushing over towards the table.
“Hey!” She somewhat shouted, “You! You need to be more careful when you post stuff on your socials, you can’t be acting all willy nilly! What if a crazed fan somehow managed to track you down?!” Kana pulled out her phone to show Akane the post she had put out a few minutes earlier, “Especially if you went out of your way to bring [name] with you on your date! What would the media think?” Kana lowered her voice when she mentioned you, you appreciated it.
“A crazed fan? One like you?” Akane momentarily sneered for a second before reverting back to her normal self, “I do doubt the amazing child prodigy, Kana Arima, would go down to such stalker-ish tactics.”
“I was just passing through when I saw your post!” Kana was quick to defend herself, “I thought it’d be a perfect way to teach both you and Aqua a lesson on online safety! Though I guess it should be towards all three of you.”
“You two… know each other?” Aqua murmured out awkwardly.
“Of course they do, keep up, smelly.” You laughed.
“Stop acting like a grade school bully.”
“You can’t tell me what to do!~”
“How could I not know the great prodigy, Kana? She was all the buzz back then… not much now though. I even heard she joined an idol group? Way to realize some things weren’t meant to be.” Akane put on a cocky attitude. You’ve never seen her like this before!
“I hadn’t heard of the name Kurokawa until recently.” Kana lied, focusing her attention onto Aqua, “Recently as in, she’s in the cast for the Theatre version of Tokyo Blade with me and you, Aqua.”
“So you heard, hm?” Akane sarcastically hummed.
“I didn’t.” Aqua looked around at the two girls in front of him, “I didn’t know this was so… I didn’t know that actors are so… scary.”
“Well that’s all I came here to say.” Kana said as she turned around, hand on hip. “Get ready for the new production, Kurokawa. Because I won’t lose to you.” With that, she strutted off. You were confused about what she was talking about.
“..So Tokyo Blade is going to get a theater adaptation? That’s cool, I don’t think I’ve read it, but I’ve seen some clips about it on Twitter.” There was an awkward pause where no one else started talking. “Uhm. My favorite character is the one with white hair..? She’s so cool☆”
“Really??!” Akane bursted out, “Sayahime is the girl that I’m playing as! Oh I can’t wait to have you see me!!” She squealed, “I’ll make it seem as if she’s really come to life with you in mind. Ohh!! This is going to be my best performance yet! After this, I’ll truly be the star to take Kana’s spotlight.”
“I didn’t know actors were so competitive! I guess it makes sense though, since it is a job.” You purse your lip, “I’m sure you’ll still be amazing with whatever you do though, Akane☆.”
“Thank you, [name]… alright. Let’s finish our treat and go do something really fun, alright? Aqua, you can join us as well if you’d like.”
“I’m good. Wouldn’t want to suck in all this… happy, feel-good energy. I’ll be taking my leave now. Have a good rest of your date.”
“Awh, it won’t be any fun without Aqua…☆” You whine playfully, “but if you truly insist on leaving, there’s nothing I can do!” You giggle, scooting your chair closer to Akane. “☆Buh-bye!”
Aqua grumbles something under his breath as he waves his final goodbye a few steps away from the cafe. He noticed the way you acted differently between him and Akane. He wishes you’d give him the affection you give her, though he’d never say anything like that out loud.
“[name], stop teasing him so much. One of these days he’ll really take offense to what you say.”
“Oh?☆ But it’s all fun in games! I’m sure he knows it, deep down at least.”
He doesn’t know. In fact, he doesn’t even know how to accept your gestures. He can’t decode them like how he can with everyone else, he can’t figure out what’s genuine or what’s not. Your eyes trick him, leading him in a hole deeper than he can crawl out from. One’s just like Ai, who he’s desperate to keep safe.
-End of Full_of_Happiness
Day after day you sit in your boring classroom. After the rehearsals and practices for Tokyo Blade started up, you barely got to see Akane and Aqua. Aqua would show up to class, but usually on the days he did you would be the one out of school doing your job. You had friends in class, but they didn't hold the same bond you and Aqua had after the start of B-Komachi, though they were getting close.
"[name]!! What did you get on the test?" Eruru asked as she ran up towards your desk, the closing bell had rung a few minutes earlier. With her own test paper in one hand and her other gripping onto the sleeve of Matsuyo's wrinkled uniform, "Let's compare our scores!!"
"Ah... I got a 91☆" You say, spinning your paper so it could face them, "It's not bad but I totally could have done better if it wasn't for question 12... I suck at explanation problems."
"A 91??! That's so good!! That's totally not fair! I only got an 84." Eruru whined as she plopped down onto the seat she had pulled up, consequently letting go of Matsuyo's arm.
"What did you get, Matsuyo?" You asked politely.
"Oh. Uhm..." Matsuyo bit his lip as he clenched the paper in his hand, "Let's just say it was above a 40. Yeah."
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Matsuyo. Honestly, this test was a hard one!" Eruru said as she tried to cheer him up, "Plus, that's an upgrade since the last test!"
"I don't know, man. School is a total waste of my time. It's not like I'm really going to do anything after this."
"But having a good education opens up a lot more opportunities in the future!" You chime in, "Even if you don't do well with the paper grade stuff, some of this information is pretty useful to have."
"You sound exactly like my Aunt." Matusyo groaned, laying his forehead on your desk, "This is all messed up. How do you of all people manage to keep up with all your grades when you barely show up to class as is?"
"Yeah, you totally have to be cheating or something!! Ohmygosh, I bet someone implanted a chip into your brain and–"
"Eruru, stop that. No one did anything to me and I definitely am not cheating. I know I don't ever come in person but... I take night classes!☆" You lie through your teeth. In reality, it was in a previous life where you were an academic weapon. Now all you do outside of class is stream or oversleep from a previous night of streaming.
"Night classes?" Matusyo murmured, "Do they really help?"
"Yeah, but they cost money. If anything, I could always tutor you, Matusyo.☆" You smile softly as you tilt your head to look down at him.
"We should totally have a group study sesh together! It would be so lovely and we would all be so productive and we could finally spend some time together with all three of us!" Eruru bursted out, "You two could both come to my house– or maybe the library would be better because I have a lot of family with me... or maybe we could go to one of your houses?"
"I think a library would be better." Both you and Matusyo say.
"Alright then! I'll schedule a study sesh in the library that's near the convenience store that's a street down from school, okay? I'll send the directions link in the group chat too!" Eruru said, pulling out her sparkling phone from the pocket of her shirt.
The three of you get up from your desk and slowly walk your way out of the classroom and eventually out of school. You wave your goodbye once you all start parting ways, a soft smile on your lips. Once everyone was gone though, the smile you once had returned back to its usual neutral expression. Looking down at the ground, even spending quality time with your friends couldn't fill the void without your partner.
Now you also had to schedule around the library meeting for future streams or maybe you could just not stream that day... you weren't sure what you were going to do yet. You pull out your phone once you hear it ring, but it was just a couple of spam messages. You lift your head to look up at the sky, it was still bright and you had many more things you needed to accomplish today.
Tossing your book bag onto the floor of your apartment, you kicked off your shoes to the wall. This is how you usually were when you got home, but this time you don't have a sweet message from Akane to look at. You frown as you stare at your reflection from your phone's screen. When did you get so codependently attached? You whine and grumble about self deprecating things as you continue pulling off your school uniform. A few more minutes pass before you find yourself booting up your monitor, one screen with Twitter open and the other with your face tracking application. Sitting up to adjust your camera, you sit and stare at your model, watching it's every move. Watching the mouth open and close, and the hair flowing down. Maybe I should buy a new model... or maybe a new outfit.
Today you were going to have a collaboration with a few other talents from Ichigo Productions, you still considered yourself independent from the studio, but you really feel as if you're stuck between a gray area. Separating yourself from your online presence grew harder with each passing day. You groan as you see who you're collaborating with, this line up won't bring in the viewers you normally have, not to mention it's set in an awkward time.
You wonder when you'll be able to see Hanae again. That's the only reason you joined B-Komachi after all, will she be able to find you or will you have to go out searching for her in person? If the latter is correct, might as well just stop streaming as a whole, right?- You catch yourself before you start spewing off more nonsense.
"Okay then... the first person is Pieyon." You murmur, "Isn't he a workout influencer? What is he going to do with a VTuber??" You feel yourself wanting to smash all the keys on your keyboard.
˚⋆୨ ✶ ୧⋆˚
You looked up from your phone, you were right in front of the library that Eruru had mentioned. You were surprised that you hadn't noticed this place before, it's very modern compared to the older libraries you had visited in your past lives. Instead of the shabby wooden brown color you would usually think of when someone says library, it was in a very modern gray with white blue hues. The moment you walk in you locked eyes with Matsuyo who was sitting on a sofa that was set to the side.
"You're late." Matsuyo sighed out, he looked anxious.
"You were just early! I'm a busy person, y'know." You light heartedly joke, but it didn't seem to lift his mood, "Were you worried about me ghosting you or something? I would never do that to you."
"..." Matsuyo fidgeted with the textures on his phone, "I know but..."
"If it makes you feel better, I'll make sure that I come early next time☆." You smile, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks..." Matsuyo murmured, a light shade of red covered his face. You giggle a bit before Eruru stomps her way towards the two of you.
"Ahh! Sorry for being so late!" She said loudly, she quickly put a hand to her mouth as she lowered her voice, "Okay... Thanks for waiting for me♡, I reserved a room in the upper corner so... Right, okay we should be able to go there now. Follow me!"
Letting go of Matsuyo's shoulder, you quickly follow behind Eruru who was observing the people around her. Going up the stairs and taking a left led you to the room that you'd be spending the rest of your hour in. It didn't look very comfortable, but it looked very efficient for learning. There was a large window for you to look out of, and the furniture was also covered in a modern gray.
You take a seat next to Matsuyo and lower your bag onto the side table, "So what did you want help with, Matsuyo?☆"
"Math." Matusyo groaned as he slipped a notebook and pencil out from his bag, "To be honest, I need help with everything, but we only have about 70 minutes left to use this place so... I'd like to focus on that please."
"How polite!" Eruru chimed in, "Help me with math too, [name]!!!♡"
"Alright alright..." You smile, "Okay give me specific problems to help you, alright? I could go over this entire unit, but that'll take too much time. As for you, Matsuyo... let's start with problem 4."
This went on for about an hour before you flopped onto your chair... Matsuyo actually caught on pretty well, all he really had to do was apply himself and Eruru was already good at it, though it felt like ages before you could sit down again.
"We did a lot of good work, thanks [name]!! How about we go to a restaurant together? It doesn't have to be expensive... maybe that ramen shop that's just a few blocks down? But that's kind of too greasy to eat right now... or maybe a cake place? Fried chicken sounds good too..." Eruru kept rambling on.
"I think [name] would really enjoy a sit down kind of place, right?" Matsuyo says as he looks down at you, you nod your head hesitantly, "If that's the case, there's this diner that I like going to... it's all experimental food, but they have things from all around Asia. It doesn't really cost that much either... last time I checked."
"Ooh!! What's it called? Could we walk to it?" Eruru asked
"Lab."
"Just Lab?"
"Well I don't remember anything else, but everything on the menu goes onto the wall and it looks like the elemental table... It's cool."
"Awhh!! Now you're really convincing me!" Eruru said excitedly, pulling her phone out, "Hey, it's not that far away! We could definitely walk there! Do you think you're up for it, [name]?"
"How far away is it?"
"Just a few blocks."
"Ah... Hmm... it does sound good so I guess I'll go." You say, getting up from your chair and grabbing your bag. You nudge Matsuyo's arm in a joking manner, "This better be worth it!"
"I swear it is!" Matusyo replied with an ambitious look in his eyes, you smiled up at him for a second before the three of you started to leave the library.
The walk there was pleasant, you liked watching the people around you. Matsuyo kept to himself for most of the walk and Eruru pinched you whenever she saw a brightly colored car, of course you joined her little game soon after. Matsuyo looked up towards the sky, on multiple occasions you had to pull him away from bumping into people, but otherwise it was a very uneventful happy walk.
The three of you entered the restaurant the moment you arrived. It was very cute and was decorated to match its "science" theme. Matsuyo got a room for the three of you, where you sat and took out your menu.
"Wow, Matsuyo! This place is so cool♡!! It looks so super trendy!" Eruru said, "I'm so surprised that I haven't heard of this place before!"
"Me too!" You agree, "I just hope the food is as good as its design."
"It is, I swear." Matusyo nods his head, "My favorite dish here is this one." He puts his finger on your menu, "It's like cold ramen, except the noodles are rice noodles and there's a side of this sweet pickled radish thing... but the main point of the dish is the meat wrapped in this lettuce thing? I don't think it's actually lettuce but I don't really remember what vegetable it's called..."
"That sounds so good!! I've been craving some cold ramen, ahh! I'll order that one. You should get something else so that we can share!" Eruru says, closing her menu and putting it to the side.
"Oh, and the tamagoyaki here kind of suck. You could get better stuff from the street. But they have this octopus on a stick thing, it's fried and really crunchy."
"I'll get that then." You reply with a smile on your lips, "But if I'm being really honest, everything you say is making all these foods sound really appetizing☆!"
"Ah... thank you, [name]." Matusyo mumbled out, face turning red.
A few more minutes pass as you continue looking through the menu, and a few more before a waiter comes to your room and takes the groups' order. You pull out your phone and look through your notifications. Hundreds of likes from your social media, lots of comments from your streaming sites, a few emails from partners, and about three messages from your managers that you promptly responded back to. However, there were none from Akane which lowered your mood a bit. You would go check if  you had gotten any from Aqua, but you already knew what the outcome would be.
"Let's talk!!" Eruru shouted out, "Oops, sorry. Too loud. But we should talk to each other!! Get to know each other, y'know? We've known each other for soooo long but I barely know anything about you guys!"
"That's true. I don't mind talking about stuff like that if you don't mind☆" You reply, laying your head against the palm of your hand.
"Okay okay! Then let's play truth or truth!" Eruru says happily, It's pretty easy to explain, it's just like truth or dare, but you just say a fun fact about yourself! And it can't be something simple, it has to be something big!!!"
"Uhm... alright then. Eruru, why don't you go first?" Matsuyo said quietly, "Truth or truth?"
"Truth!" Eruru smiles, "Okay... a fun fact... My family owns the Wonderland amusement park and after my dad, I'm going to get ownership over it! Well I have older siblings and technically they should get it, but they don't want it." Eruru rambles on, "They don't see the happiness and joy that you get out of it! They say that that type of work will be gone and that people aren't going to go to those types of things in the future, but they're all wrong! Amusement parks will never die!! But with the way my dad is handling the park, our park might actually end up dying and I won't have a job in the future! Which is totally scary I guess."
"Woah." You say out loud, "That was a total run down, do we really have to say all that?"
"Well not really, but I just had to get it off my chest haha..." Eruru's smile turned into a shy one, "I'm really totally passionate about it, and all my other friends think it's a childish dream to have, so I just wanted to test the waters out a bit with you guys..."
"I don't think it's childish at all." Matsuyo chimed in, "It's a real job that real people have. I don't think the wonderland park is going to go into bankruptcy anytime soon, but it'll definitely end up losing popularity in a few years..." Eruru started to frown, but Matusyo kept talking, "...But I think that once you're in charge of it you'll bring it back up and it'll be more popular than ever..!"
"Really??!" Eruru said gleefully, "Thanks for believing in me!!! Now it's your turn, Matusyo!!!"
"Ah... fun fact about me? I really like the band 2You... They've been in a ton of controversies because of their producer, but I can't hate it because the music is just so good. And it always upsets me when they take their songs down from my streaming service because I'd love to listen to them again. They really inspired me to try getting into music, but I wasn't really all that good at it. I've tried singing... or whatever... but I wasn't built for it. Everytime I try I'm so strainy and stuffy, and I don't really have the time or anything to learn an instrument." 2You? You had a whole partnership with 2You a while back, maybe you could use that to get closer with Matsuyo... "I wish I could get better at singing, but I just don't think my vocal chords are up to the challenge, and at my age it's better to just stop trying."
"Don't say that, Matsuyo!" You pout, "I don't know what you sound like, but you should never just give up like that!!"
"I second that!" Eruru agrees.
"2You is a great band too, we should definitely go to a concert together when they go back on tour." You nod, smiling softly.
"Ah, but it costs so much money..."
"I'm sure we could save up together!"
"Alright!" Eruru interrupts, "Now it's your turn, [name]!!! Truth or truth!"
"Truth." You say bluntly, "A truth about me is that... I feel like I'm not that good at talking to people? Well that's a lie. I mean... I feel like I'm not good at connecting with others. Like how I miss school all the time. To be honest, you two are the first friends I've made in person in a long time if I'm not counting the ones I've made at work." You shyly say, "I know it's dumb, ★but I feel really lonely even when I'm surrounded by people. But going out on these trips with you guys makes me really happy☆..."
"That's so sappy!" Eruru cringes, covering her face with your hands, "Your words are too kind, [name]! My heart feels so full♡!"
"I feel the same way too sometimes, [name]." Matsuyo says gently.
You feel that Matsuyo is slowly coming out of his shell, and you can feel that you are too. When the food came out, the room was full of chatter and laughter. It felt really nice hanging out with people without thinking of social media or idol-work. Your mind even drew away from thinking of Akane and Hanae. The meal was great, you would even rank it higher than the time you and the cast of Lovenow went out to eat at that barbeque place. You and your friends stayed in the restaurant for a good thirty more minutes before you got to say your final goodbyes.
At the end of the day, you were rinsing your body with water in your bathroom as you shuffled through the many thoughts in your head. You had a stream planned in the very early hours of the morning tomorrow, which means you must sleep very early tonight. You had to meet up with Akane soon for your own mental wellbeing, maybe Aqua too, but that wasn't a main priority for you. Matsuyo was slowly becoming a closer friend, which means that you might be taking a step in the right direction on finding Hanae. Which makes a small smile creep onto your face. Staring at a tile on your bathroom wall, you feel your heart pulse when you think about seeing Hanae again.
One day you'll see her again, one day soon.

I just shed actual tears reading a story (au) on how Arima Kana was processing what happened to Aqua and it was painful to read through. Honestly though, I would have preferred to be walked through the pain and hurt in the original story than to just be presented on how they moved on with their lives.
I feel like if only everyone in the OnK universe were given at least half a chapter to show us how they processed everything- from the loss, to the struggles to moving on, the conclusion would have made more sense. There should've at least pages that walked us through the pain, the suffering, the void. Because after the numbness brought by the pain, all that's left is to move forward towards the future and it would have made more impact.
See? I'm not really mad that they killed off Aqua (I still find it very disrespectful to Ai's final moments) but it just really makes me, I don't know. It's just that for OnK's final volume, Kamiki behind the lens on Gotanda's and Aqua's interviews made more impact than the last page of the final chapter and it really frustrates me. Inspite of it all, I respect Akasaka-sensei's writing because I was really interested with his story. I guess the real tragedy for me is how I didn't even read the last chapter just so I wouldn't be reminded how I find the conclusion flat in comparison to the entirety of the story.

A Lovers' Circle(Poly Haishira x Reader) Ch1 A Beginning
Kimetsu University where the finest students graduate and go on to lead successful careers. Some find success. Some find riches. Others find lifelong friends. A circle of lovers just happens to find a sweet little lady that makes their hearts beat.
(IMPORTANT INFO: This isn't a Kimetsu Gauken au. It's a college au loosely based off the info contained in Kimetsu Gauken. So some things are changed around, not cannon, and different because this is an au.
Everyone in this story is in their early twenties except for Gyomei who's mid twenties. There will be NO Muichiro x Reader. There is also NO Kanae x Shinobu either! They're sisters you weirdos. I'll add a link to all the info I loosely based the au off of.

Kimetsu University where the finest students graduate and go on to lead successful careers. Some find success. Some find riches. Others find lifelong friends. Whatever the case may be, there is certainly something for everyone to do. Whatever you want to accomplish you are almost guaranteed success if you work hard and attend the magnificent school that was Kimetsu University.
The day was bright and beautiful as the morning light fell through the window and grazed over the few patrons still in the small cafe she worked at. The murmuring hums of light talk, generic elevator like music, and the occasional bike passing by outside. It combined with the sounds from the kitchen. Clinking dishes, utilities, and the occasional shout of an order ready to be served. Relatively peaceful and normal day for those whom worked the cafe life.
It was a demanding job sometimes if you had to handle multiple orders by yourself especially if you were by yourself or happened to be short-staffed that day or if there just so happened to be a large crowd. But it wasn't a bad job. The Patrons were mostly friendly aside from the occasional Karen or grumpy person in the morning who demanded their caffeine high for the morning. It always smelt nice with the lingering scents of coffee, chocolate, and various hand made baked goods in the glass display nearby.
After a while one would even start to recognize the frequent customers visiting the shoppe's doors. The guy who always hugged down at least three cups of coffee in the morning before classes. The couple always coming in Thursday afternoon for the college students discount on the sandwiches. That one girl always stumbling in with a mountain of papers always quickly buying a quick donut before scurrying away. There was the frequent college students or bookworms that just liked to sit in the cafe and do their own things. Sometimes they'd order snacks sometimes they didn't but that was life. But such was life on campus.
It was a slow day this morning in particular.
The smells of glass cleaner mixed in with the scents of coffee and sweet vanilla as a cloth ran across the shiny glass of the display case. Inside it beheld the delicious sights within it's hold. A few cupcakes and cakes ready to be bought and eaten. Tempted to take one herself. But it'd have to come out of his pockets if she did so. Not many people had come in today either. A few in the morning for a quick coffee run before classes but for now it was just her alone here. She didn't mind, it was peaceful and quiet other than the distant sounds of the generic elevator like music that constantly played around the area.
She couldn't wait for the end of the week. There was going to be a girls night with all her girlfriends and then they were going to spend the entire weekend together going to the spa, and the amusement park, and then there was going to be a cute little movie marathon!! Oh it was gonna be so much fun! And it's been so long since they all got to spend time together! She was so excited, she barely heard the door open. Only being aware of the fact when the door opened and the bell above rang a cute little jingle causing her bright green eyes to snap around.
She gasped. "Obi!"
The slightly smaller black haired that walked in barely reacted to her. Maybe it was because he didn't get a chance to before she squealed excitedly and rushed him. Pulling him into a nearly bone crushing hug and literally lifting the man off his feet.
"I missed you so much!"
"Ish omly beem a few hours," he replied to the best of his abilities half muffled by the fact she was crushing him into herself.
She squeezed him just a bit tighter for a second or two. "Mm mm!" Before finally releasing him back onto his feet allowing him to wheeze for air, but by now he was used to it after being together for so long. "You're always so sweet coming to see me at work!" She gushed grasping her cheeks.
It took him a few seconds to collect himself but he was able to recover from his girlfriend's usual greeting and looked at her evenly. "I'm happy you seem to be in better spirits." Mitch matched eyes glanced partially past her and made contact with a wiping cloth and a bottle of glass cleaner abandoned on top of the display case of delicious pastries. "Is your shift over with yet?"
"Almost! I'm just cleaning up and getting ready to clean out the display case. You know what that means!" She gushed brightly at the thought. "Which means lots of free leftovers for us tonight! It's gonna be so yummy!"
"Just be sure you don't eat all of it before we get it to the others. Don't want a repeat of last time." Last time she unknowingly snacked on everything before they could reach Kyojuro's house and they ended up having to drive out last minute and get take out and frozen pizzas. Poor Mitsuri nearly cried for an hour after trying to pay for everything.
Her face lit up an embarrassed pink as she pouted. "I won't! Besides everyone's supposed to bring something! What are you bringing everyone?"
His answer was to raise a box of canned Moonbucks coffee. "This."
"Obanai, coffee isn't a good choice for a potluck! We're supposed to bring something everyone can enjoy!"
"They do. Especially Shiny and Sanemi. They're always tired as fuck."
"And no cussing! We're trying to make a good first impression for Gyomei! What's his new girlfriend gonna think if you do that?"
"Didn't he just say they just went on like two dates? That's not a girlfriend." Her eyes narrowed at him. "*sigh* Fine. But I'm not the one you should be worried about."
"Sanemi promised everyone he won't say anything mean."
"It's not Sanemi I'm worried about." Knowing Tengen and his 'flamboyant' (innuendy) way of talking a lot of the time you couldn't tell if he was flirting, teasing, both, or just talking. Not always the best thing for a great first impression.
"Oh Tengen's gonna be fine! You'll see!" She patted his shoulder before bubbly bouncing towards the counter again. "I'm gonna finish up cleaning now so we can grab the goodies and go!"
"M'kay. I'll just wait for you to get done then." He went right ahead and made himself comfortable in a nearby chair as she happily went back. "Are Hinatsuru and Makio still here too?"
She nodded wiping at the remaining glass. "Yep! They're cleaning up the back! We should be done real soon!"
"Good. I can't stand Tengen making anymore jokes about me trying to steal his wives again. The sooner we leave the better."

Kana's breakdown
I've been thinking more about Kana slapping Aqua's dead body (why am I even typing those words jfc) last chapter. Lots of folks are using this as a reason to call Kana immature, selfish, etc. which I don't agree with even though I do understand some of that thinking.
Was it disrespectful to his family? Absolutely. Imagine you're standing there mourning your dead son and his friend comes up and slaps him lol. And while it would not be OK to do this in any circumstance, in the eyes of everyone but Akane he was murdered. So while they are probably upset that he went looking for trouble by chasing after Hikaru, this is just a tragic murder in their eyes. Although to be clear, I don't condone slapping suicidal people whether dead or alive.
But grief can really screw you up. Your emotions are running high and you may not be fully in control of your actions. Everything is terrible and you just want that person to miraculously come back because you can't live with this.
Of course that doesn't trump Miyako's grief. Still, I can't imagine reading this and not having empathy for Kana. Also, even though at this point I hardly care what Akasaka's intensions are given how much I dislike this ending, it should be clear to everyone that this scene is not meant to show us that Kana is awful.
And then there's Miyako's reaction after the slap fest:
Tumblr media
Is this the face of a woman who is angry? No. She looks shocked. She just realized how much Kana loves Aqua and how much she's hurting. If anything, this goes to show just how loved Aqua was.
If this manga wasn't in a full on sprint to the finish line with no room to breathe, I can easily imagine a scene where Miyako goes up to Kana, who is remorseful and blaming herself, and lets her know with words or actions (she really needs a hug) that she forgives her and she understands. There's just no way that Miyako would hold any kind of resentment over this.
But man this scene really is such a soap opera. It's just tragedy porn at this point. Still, it made me emotional despite feeling kinda contrived.

Its very important to me that corrin is taller than everyone, yes including their older brothers
Its important to me that they go to fetch their younger sibling, former general, only to realize that they've grown as both a person and also just taller
I want them to have to crane their neck to meet their younger sibling's eyes
I want Corrin to try and make this less weird by crouching down lower so it's like it was before the war
I want Sakura/Elise to have a wonderful time being picked up by their elder sibling and sat upon their shoulders, giggling the whole time while also in Awe of how much they can see up there
I want Leo/Takumi to realize that even if they could still get taller that there'd be no chance of reaching Corrin's eyeline but also aware of how much more othered they must feel amongst their family
I want Hinoka/Camilla to lightly joke that they'll need to fly to see their younger sibling face to face while also reassuring them that they'll always be their "little" sibling
I want Corrin to realize that their dragon form has also gotten bigger, transforming inside has turned into a hassle to make sure they don't break the ceiling
I want them to realize they tower over their eldest siblings, wishing they didn't because hugging them has gotten a bit awkward for various reasons
I want Azura to not be bothered at all, for all she knows this is to be expected of a half-dragon and they had a late growth spurt because that's surely how it works for Corrin
I want Kana to be overjoyed because it means they won't be small forever while Corrin just makes note to tell them that this is a pain in more ways than just the transformation
I also think it'd be funny if Corrin was just huge due to their fun genetics (this also extends to Mikoto she should also be taller than most others)

"Nii-chan, are you alright?"
"Huh? I'm good. What's up with you, though?"
Sanemi hasn't been focusing well lately, even in his classes. He's less harsh than he usually is, and even his closest friend, Obanai, notices this. But of course, knowing the chemistry teacher, he won't really pry that much.
Genya shifted in his seat, looking at his big brother with worried eyes. Usually, Sanemi would say things like...
"Why do you fucking care?!"
or
"Mind your own damn business, you goddamn brat!"
It's not like Genya likes being yelled at by his own brother, but Sanemi's been acting weird.
"I'm good Nii-chan. I hope you are too. Just remember that you're the sweetest brother in the world. And the greatest teacher too."
Sanemi blushed at what his little brother told him. He scoffed and rolled his eyes, gripping harder on the steering wheel. But honestly, inside, his heart was suddenly filled with warmth.
--
You were a wreck. The day after that incident with Sanemi, you couldn't find the guts to face him at school. You can't even talk to Kanae well after the jealousy that you just felt from her presence. The science teacher doesn't deserve it, as she was really nice towards you, but you just can't help it.
You're a history teacher, but damn, you don't know how to write your story well enough that it'll be good history in the future.
Sanemi had avoided you as well, and that made you feel worse. Whenever you're in the faculty room, he will walk out, even if he's in the middle of a conversation. Of course, you know that what he tells his other colleagues is just full of excuses.
You silently watched him, noticing how he became less aggressive with his students. But of course, sometimes you'll see him talking to Kanae, and you'll end up sulking once again on a corner with Tomioka, who has no idea why you're there with him at all.
Tumblr media
(this is the usual view you'll see)
But as if the fates were testing your patience, today you found yourself alone with him inside the faculty room.
The teachers decided to go out tonight, but of course, because you were sulking badly, you declined. Even if Tomioka wanted to decline too, Shinobu forced him to do so. So now you're alone at your desk, finishing checking the test papers on the table.
You heard the door slide but didn't look up, as perhaps it was just one of your students.
"If you're looking for other teachers, they're not around. Just come back tomorrow."
"Need a hand?"
You looked up, and standing behind you was Sanemi. With his sleeves rolled up and his arms crossed, you can't help but feel hot on the face. But yes, you longed to hear his voice. You fucking missed the scent of his minty perfume.
You missed Sanemi so much, and him talking to you right now fucking hurts so much.
But of course, you're at school, and this is work. You need to separate your personal life from your career, which you also messed up on doing the last few days.
You gave Sanemi a soft smile, trying your best not to pull him down and just hug him. "Oh, sure, Shinazugawa-san. My students are giving me a hard time!" Your voice sounded as professional as you had imagined, and it had made Sanemi scoff.
He pulled Giyu's chair over and sat next to you, snatching some of the test papers from your table. "Where's the answer sheet?" He asked, and you handed it to him.
Sanemi's fingers brushed against yours, and that immediately almost made you pass out. You were paralysed by the sensation that the little motion sent through your body. You watched as the man checked the papers silently, wishing he'd bring up something from that time, but nothing came.
"For a delinquent kid, Hashibira-kun did well." He muttered under his breath, praising your student which made you smile. "Yep, he's good at history. And Kamado-kun's a great tutor." You replied, smiling as you easily checked Tanjiro's papers. The kid had aced the test once again.
"Eh, I hope he does well in math, though. That kid gets fucked up with numbers!"
"Oi, mind your language." You said, chuckling, which also definitely made Sanemi smile.
You remembered the night when he confessed to you, as he said almost the same words when you cursed at him.
"Why are you still here, though? I thought the teachers would eat dinner together or something. Where's your best friend? Tomioka?" Sanemi asked as he continuously checked your students' papers. You gulped and paused for a bit.
"Oh, Kocho-sama took Tomioka-san. And as for me, I'm busy. I can't go." You lied through your teeth, wishing Sanemi would never notice. "How about you? I thought you went with them?" Kanae's there... You wanted to add but stopped yourself from doing so.
"Oh well, I'm not in the mood for those gatherings. Okay, I'm done here. Do you have more tests to check?"
"Oh, none. I think I can go home. Finally!"
You said, stretching out on your chair. You didn't notice, but a button on your blouse popped out, hitting Sanemi on the cheek. You gasped, immediately caressing his cheek to check if you had accidentally wounded him again. But thank goodness, there are none.
Sanemi undoubtedly blushed slightly as you caressed his face and let your fingers run up his scars. When you realised it, you pulled your hand away, apologising for what you just did.
You were expecting that Sanemi would pull your hand or anything, but that didn't happen. Disappointment filled you, but this is the reality. You turned him down, and that's the end of it.
A warm fabric suddenly blanketed you, making you look up. There, you saw that Sanemi took off his outer vest and placed it over your shoulders. "I don't wear any jackets, but perhaps this vest could cover you up." He said it sweetly, and that definitely tugged at your heartstrings.
"Thank you, Shinazugawa-san."
"You're welcome."
Silence. A deafening silence came right after you wore his vest, covering up your bra that was exposed earlier. His minty scent embraced you like a lover longing for his significant other, and there, you wished it was him instead of just his vest.
The math teacher didn't try to start up a conversation; instead, he played with Tomioka's pen that was left at his table.
You suddenly wondered why he was mad at your friend in the first place. So you asked.
"Why do you hate Tomioka-san so much?"
Your question caught Sanemi off guard, and he was undoubtedly staring at you with wide eyes as a result.
"Uh, sorry to pry—"
"I don't hate the man. But I consider him my rival. He's smart; I'll give him that. But I fucking hate his I am different from you vibes and shit. And the Kochos seemed to still like him despite that. You know that Kanae's my ex. I even became jealous of him before."
Kanae again... You looked away and sighed. "I see."
"But now it's different. It's more like he doesn't vibe with me as much as Obanai does. And he looks like a fucktard."
"Hey! Tomioka's handsome!"
You said it in defence of your best friend, which made Sanemi laugh. He shook his head and continued. "But yeah, that's it. I don't really care if he lives with the Kochos or anything. I have more priorities than thinking about them."
His words moved you. So, does this also mean that he isn't thinking about Kanae anymore? You wanted to ask once again, but you have no right to do so.
"And you're one of those priorities, Y/N."
Your world stopped as Sanemi's voice echoed in your senses. You shot him a shocked look, but he was already looking at you with sadness in his eyes. This sight was too different from his normal attitude, and it makes you feel bad. You want to comfort him.
"I can't forget about you, Y/N. I fucking tried."
"Sanemi stop."
You tried stopping him, but the man held your hand once again and gripped it tightly this time, assuring you that you wouldn't leave him again.
"Please let me start over, Y/N. Please let me prove myself to you. Please give me this last chance. And I swear that if this doesn't work this time, I'll stop for good. I'll fucking leave you alone even if that shit hurts."
This time, tears finally rolled down your cheeks as, for the second time, you saw the usual strong and cold Sanemi beg for you to give him another chance.
You hate how he looks right now. You hate seeing him sad. And with that, you let your impulse take over your body as you gave him a warm embrace and whispered in his ear.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"One last chance, Sanemi. Let's try this again."

𝑰 𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆
But why the heck am I sobbing XD
Okay... fuck, I love angst :'( And still I hope this made you happy ^^
I hope Sanemi's not too OOC but this is how I imagined him to be if he ever falls in love again and get hurt. Like he would have this part revealed. And yes, the first part's my fave as I was sobbing over Genya because of some spoilers that I have seen today.
You are my babies and I want you happy so I swear, next chappy will be happier. Sanemi and Y/N is making up here so, perhaps on the next chappy they'll be okay? Or is it? MWHAHAHAHA
But anyways, thank you for reading this fic. I love you and always remember that!
@sofilsworld just tagging you here as you were also in the last chappy ^^ Thank you!!

━━━ ❪ Forget Everything ❫
Tumblr media
tw: suggestive content
- [nome] pov
Have you ever felt like everything in your life depends on something? As if everything revolves around that thing and without it you die? It's strange, a person who works at the hospital and helped addicts is now addicted herself.
I looked at the Japanese style landing, I sighed as I took off my clothes to get the towel, and what was needed to enter a hot spring.
Ever since Ruby, Kana, and Mem-cho decided to film a new music video, it had been quite the adventure. Ruby and Ai were jumping around happily, Aqua was making funny faces and everything. It was a mess, but there was still a strange comfort in the midst of it.
Everything changed since I found out that Hikaru got me pregnant on purpose by literally drugging and abusing me and when I had the proof. Ai, who was already on Hikaru's side, said how horrible these lies were, it didn't take long for my social media account to be flooded with hate from Ai's fans and my proof was used more as a script for Hikaru.
The way Hiro looked like Hikaru was overwhelming. Instead of feeling fear and resentment toward my son, for the first time I felt joy. Because I knew that if he was raised by me, he wouldn't be a monster like his father.
I sigh as I look at my neck, the stain on it. Oh right, how could I forget the day the kids left home to go out with their friends and I tried to go out with a friend of mine only for Hikaru to wrap his belt around my neck while he forced me to suck his cock, cumming on my face and taking pictures of my already red face out of breath.
Then she was careful, pinning me to the bed and marking me all over. I don't think I've ever used so much concealer as that day, the same day I swore I would die without air, the same day Hikaru took pictures of me with his face dirty with sperm and threatened to show them to my friends talking about how I was a home wrecker when they were the ones who destroyed my peace and my home.
I knew Hikaru would never do that, I knew his possessive side, the side where he threatened me with a knife while making soft cuts on my skin with his and Ai's name, he would never share those things.....right?
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the sound of footsteps and excited sounds and I turned around only to come face to face with the girls wearing towels and buns in their hair. My [eye color] eyes met Kana's reddish pink eyes, the small girl stuttered when she saw my body covered with a small towel
The girls' faces blushed except for Ruby and Ai who quickly stood by my side laughing while Ai hugged me.
"[name]-chan! Isn't that cool?! Let's all relax together." She said, hugging me. I could feel her breasts pressing against mine as I laughed and gently stroked her purple hair, but it seemed like none of the girls saw this contact.
―Miss [name]......ah, you're more beautiful than I imagined...even at that age you look so young―Akane said looking amazed, ever since Akane started dating Aqua I usually advised her and every time she was amazed by any gesture of mine
―Ah...thank you Akane-chan...
―Let's get in the water now! Before it gets cold―Kana huffed in embarrassment, turning her blushing face away as she opened the Shoji to the entrance to the hot spring.
―Kana-chan, the hot springs won't cool down, just say you don't want to see the girls like this―Mem-cho hummed, mocking his friend, the blonde teased Kana, making her blush at the comment.
―Loli-senpai, wait for us!―Ruby said as she quickly ran excitedly to the fountain.
While the girls undressed and entered the hot spring, Ai was with me. I was going to walk towards the girls but I felt arms wrap around me.
― Narrator POV
Ai wrapped her arms around [Name]'s waist as the purple-haired girl snuggled into [Name]. The two women were silent as the younger women enjoyed the moment and chatted and even joked with each other, oblivious to the older women's tension.
"You're thinking too much, what's going on in that beautiful head of yours? Love," Ai said, kissing her lover's neck while she kissed her love's shoulders and collarbone.
―Nothing much.....full head you know?, Hikaru's recording is getting closer and he wants me to participate, especially as an Idol character―[name] said as he lovingly accepted Ai's display of affection
―I loved the idea.....you would look sexy dressed as an Idol―Ai said as her soft lips took a piece of [name]'s [skin color] skin and sucked it, leaving a red mark on her neck
―.....No, I would be weirder, yes―[name] said as she closed her eyes, tensing up as she felt a sting in her neck and soon saw Ai smile through the reflection of the glass and felt her rest her chin on [name]'s shoulder.
―......Is your mother still in contact or not?
―After Hikaru cursed her? No, she's not.
"That's good.....it would be a shame if her social network life disappeared, it would be less of a problem if...she bothers you again and that bitch of a stepsister of yours messes with you, if anything happens let me know. My heart is heavy every time Hikaru chains you up but it's exciting too." Ai said as her grip tightened and the purple-haired girl's delicate hands went up to [name]'s breasts and soon she was there, while she spoke her hands gently squeezed [name]'s breasts.
―A-Ai, we're in public―[name] stuttered while Ai laughed and nodded and soon excitedly went to the fountain where the girls were.
- [nome] pov
I don't remember how much time passed, all I knew was that I decided not to even go into the hot spring when I heard my cell phone ring, only to have it be my mother again pestering me about getting some paper for my "sister."
Sister? To me she was just another needy slut, an adopted daughter who was privileged by her mother, but I didn't care. That's what I always told myself as if it were an addiction, something I couldn't live without, without apologizing or anything like that. Maybe it was a trauma, or I was just too pitiful.
I stare at myself in the water of the hot spring while I didn't even notice that the door opened with Hikaru and Ai entering, I only realized when Ai moaned excitedly entering the hot spring hugging me, her breasts rubbing against my arm while Hikaru leaned his back against the rocks and sat with his legs open.
I wanted to hate myself for finding this monster beautiful, but his blond hair and his gaze were something that always enchanted me, but it was the same figure that appeared in my nightmares, the figure that tormented my dreams, the reason I was homeless.
My mind stopped working when Hikaru chuckled softly and ran his hand through his damp hair as he stared at me.
"Why are you staring at me, my love? I can hear those thoughts pounding in your head, too loud. Don't tell me you want to sit on my face," Hikaru said as he looked at me, the water falling on his chest and arms.
"Hikaru! Don't say such things out of nowhere!" I said, embarrassed.
Ai just laughed and soon started kissing my neck again while Hikaru smiled and soon waved at the both of us, both of us got up and went to Hikaru and sat next to him, I rested my head on his chest as I finally relaxed
Sometimes, I want Hikaru's touch. It's strange how I can barely live without him touching me at least one day, it's strange to be so dependent on a person to this point but as strange as it may seem, Hikaru and Ai liked it.
Before I could think anything else, Hikaru's big hand gently grabbed my chin and kissed my lips. I tried to stop him but I felt a chill run down my spine and I felt his skin crawl. It wasn't the first time we did this but every time he treated me as if I were his and at the same time I was his muse, his perfection from the heavens.
His lips looked so beautiful, as if it was something I had asked for. Ai's hand cupped my cheek as Hikaru pulled away from the kiss, from the sealing of our lips. Ai's fingers moved down from my cheek, down my neck to my collarbone where her slender finger made a trail to the red hickey she had given me.
"So beautiful, so perfect but so thoughtful. I wonder what I should do to make you forget everything." He said, getting closer to me. I could feel his breath near my ear.
Hikaru's calloused hand gripped my shoulder and Ai, our breasts were pressed against each other. The sensation of warm skin brought another recharge to my already overloaded system, every time I had both of them with me it was like my body was begging to be used.
The way Ai's hands held my head before her slender fingers entered my hair and gently pulled my hair back exposing more of my neck to the hungry ex-idol, all the while I could feel the water moving. Hikaru stood next to Ai and gently brought her onto his lap.
His large hands cupped Ai's breasts and soon played with them, gently squeezing the fat and her nipples making the small purple-haired woman grunt softly in pleasure.
"If I fuck Ai in front of you, you'll only pay attention to us and no one else. And trust me, Ai and I want to be in your thoughts, even if they're suicidal or erotic thoughts," Hikaru said as his hand went down to Ai's pink pussy.
At that moment, I just wanted to forget everything. Forget everything, just to have them with me.
