Big Time Rush OC Introductions
I was a ginormous fan of Big Time Rush when I was young so, I see people I follow making BTR ocs and I have no choice but to agree so after some struggles here we have (there will end up being others I'm sooooo sure of it I already have another fc in mind)
Montgomery Queen (Jeremy Shada FC), Carlos Garcia ship. Goes by Monty, he is the bassist and backup vocalist in his own band that he has been in since he was 14. As the youngest member of his band, he's the only one that lives at the Palm Woods, though he meets the boys late because he was on tour when they first moved in. He gets involved in the boys' shenanigans pretty quickly.
Serenity Meyer (Virginia Gardner FC), James Diamond ship. A former religious cult choir singer that, following her excommunication, has made her way to Los Angeles to be a singer. She's very new at most teenager things, and luckily Jo lets her live with her at the Palm Woods when she hears about her story, but the boys are very happy to help her figure out how to be a teen.
Juniper Poole (Olivia Rose Keegan FC), Kendall Knight ship. A child Broadway star, Juniper has always lived in New York City and that's where she was intending on always living. But then she gets cast in a movie, and her father/manager doesn't want to pass up the opportunity, so while she's filming and doing promo, she gets to stay at the Palm Woods. Which leads to her meeting the boys of Big Time Rush.
Vera Hewitt (Courtney Eaton FC), Logan Mitchell ship. Vera's one of the most well known young figure skaters around, bronze medalist two years in a row at the Olympics, gold at the Grand Prix more than she can count, there was not a name in sports that wasn't as known. Then she gets hurt. A bad fall leads to an early end and needing money for her family, cue sponsorship commercials and guest tv spots and moving to Los Angeles, where she met some hockey playing boys that may help her get back on the ice.
Gideon Gardner (Cameron Gellman FC), Kendall Knight, James Diamond, Carlos Garcia, and Logan Mitchell ship. Being from Minnesota, Gideon had grown up with the boys, playing hockey with them and having a good time when they hung out after games. Then, they got the opportunity of a lifetime and left. So Gideon was on his own, until his little sister got cast in some pre-teen show and they were moving to Los Angeles, coincidentally, to the Palm Woods, where he got to see the boys again and realize he's missed them much more than a normal friend would.
Tagging @daughter-of-melpomene because BTR!!

suffering horrendous nothing happens withdrawals, heart getting weaker, legs getting numb, sweat running down my back etc etc do you have any headcanons or something to help me during this difficult time 😔
(only if you feel like it ofc lovey)
OF COURSE I HAVE HCS NONNIE.. I'M ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT THEM.. and i'm more than happy to share them with u mwah!!
james' first time happened when he was 16 with this girl a couple of years older than him, they never dated it was simply a hookup. but reg's first time is with james when he's 17 (and james 19) <3 while he's dating barty too <3
funnily enough.. this happening is actually barty's fault..
james ruins more than a few friendships over regulus and all the shit he does for/bc of him (he doesn't care)
there's a scene with james and lily after he catches he and reg making out . very heavily . and i'm so fucking excited to write it bc their lil convo is everythingggg to me
barty and pandora dated briefly when he first joined their friend group. and then barty dated reg. and he ends up with evan at some point. which is somehow hilarious to me bc he saw this lil group of freaks and he was like . yeah i'm fucking all of them . AND HE DID
james gets in a physical fight with one of reg's bfs (rabastan) and actually sends him to the hospital
mary never forgives james about the emma thing, so their friendship remains tense and . kinda bitter . after he and emma break up
effie and monty absolutely adore reg as a person but . they don't like him for james bc they don't like the kind of person james turns into when he's with reg (this changes with time obviously and this is not all on reg, james is half to blame at the very least but that's their son etc)
everyone at reg's school think he's dating james (mostly during his last 2 years) and he never corrects them
despite barty being the person james hates the most . his least fav of reg's bfs is benjy simply bc he's actually a nice guy and really good for reg (it also doesn't help that sirius loooooves him)
reg makes a habit of picking up james' phone when they're hanging out and james' current gf calls and being . as ambiguous about what they're doing as possible on purpose
james catches him at some point but finds it soooo funny and sooooo endearing that he allows it. kinda encourages it even
james mentions in part 2 of nothing happens that he doesn't think sirius knows about he and reg sharing a bed so often bc he'd confront him about it but sirius Does Know bc he has seen them a couple of times when he has a nightmare and goes to look for his brother
he's not a fan. hates it even. but he'd never tell reg how or where to seek comfort so he's never mentioned it and simply pretends it's not a Thing at all
evan's always been Team James simply bc he was jealous when reg and barty dated and secretly wanted them to break up so bad
pandora however................. she stops being james' fan at some point in the story and even after they figure their shit out . her friendship with him is never the same
when it comes to james' friends, i'm pretty sure the only ones rooting for reg are lily and peter. like.. not even sirius and that's literally his brother lmao
james and reg's relationship stays mostly platonic at all times (except they never actually act like friends but u get what i mean) but when either or both of them are dating someone . the jealousy and possessiveness jump out and suddenly they're making out + fucking any chance they get
reg shows off all the hickeys james leaves when james is dating someone, but does his best to cover them when james is single (or he is dating someone)
james never hides the marks reg leaves tho.. mostly bc he isn't self-aware about the cheating and he's never ashamed of what he and reg do
and i think i'm gonna stop there bc this has already gotten long enough.. i have another post with some hcs somewhere in the tag tho i case u wanna check those up too!!

as much as were all kinda berugedly theorizing about ruin rn I actually want to talk about the things I loved about it. first off the atmosphere was genuinely terrifying???? they stepped up so much with the animations and everything. monty at the beginning right before the title got me so bad
plus the story???? it genuinely feels like a video game. sb was scuffed story wise as much as I genuinely adore it, but this was just so good and linear. it holds up so well on it's own and it has so many iconic moments
I really enjoyed the Gregory plot. hes getting more and more involved as time goes on even if he doesnt want to. the mimic is using HIM to lure people to get out and take more lives. he couldnt even save Cassie because it used his voice too much to lure her to danger
despite the mixed feelings on the mimic (I dont think its THE mimic, just a very very similar character that inspired the books instead of the other way around) but it was genuinely awesome. a new villain introduced that could very well be glitchtraps true form, and its definitely setting up vanessa, Gregory and Freddy to be the new protagonists that keep the mimic at bay. a LOT was implied to happen off screen and I find it sooooo interesting trying to figure out what they've been up to. I'm so excited to see where they go with this and waiting will be really agonizing
not to mention the FIC POTENTIAL!!! oneshots with Cassie and Gregory post ruin if she got out, fixing the glamrocks literally being a mechanic and you can give chica her voice box back, GLAM BONNIE, confirmed 3 star ending with implications to what they got up to afterwards, small bits of Gregory backstory that give insight on how his character is kind and caring, just SO many possibilities with this dlc
#i thought we needed more positivity with all the gregory hate/crying over roxanne/anger about the mimic#this dlc was awesome and we need to be honest with ourselves#pandas.txt#pandas talks#ruin spoilers

What are your thoughts on the latest Monty gator and foxy show lore video, ‘Puppet Goes...Home?! in VRChat’?
Hmmmmmmmm
I don't have a whole lot of thoughts about it, really, aside from a few things that are kinda small
((Adding a cut because even though I said I didn't have many thoughts, I ended up rambling. Oops, I guess))
The first one, which is probably the most major, is,, why was Dark Sun in Puppet's original home dimension telling them to kill Bloodmoon?? Moon wants to sacrifice Bloodmoon to get Solar back, and if we remove Bloodmoon from the equation, the only other option that Moon might come up with in his super bad mental state is to give Lunar to the creator. Which then would tie back into the nightmare/hallucination/whatever it was that Moon had, in which Lunar supposedly sacrificed himself to the creator, Sun was dead, and Solar was back. During that time, Solar was trying to comfort Moon and reminding him as gently as possible that Sun was gone, which.... if we look at how things are currently going, I'm almost inclined to think that the only reason that Solar was being kind toward Moon was because Moon didn't tell him the sacrifice that was made in order to bring him back
Because. Think about it. Would Solar want anything to do with Moon if Moon killed someone or handed Lunar over to the creator, just to revive him?? Nope, probably not
If that's what Dark Sun is trying to push Moon toward and trying to make happen, I don't think it'd really even make sense?? Dark Sun doesn't like the creator and probably would rather die than work with/for him, there's no star to be gained in the home dimension, and if Lunar was handed over to the creator, there's no way the creator would just willingly give him to Dark Sun. Dark Sun knows some things about witherstorms, so my best guess is maybe he wants to experiment with them, kinda like the creator was doing. But then again, I have no idea. This man makes very little sense to me as is, sooooo
My second and third thoughts were smaller. Second being how, in response to Dark Sun telling them to kill Bloodmoon, Puppet went "y'know, I kinda wanted to, but just because you demanded I do it, I'm not gonna do it anymore." Amidst the seriousness, that was a little amusing to me. The third thing was Frank using his nose to poke at buttons on some keyboard thing and saying out loud, something along the lines of "type type poke poke poke poke type poke poke type." Just when I thought I couldn't love Frank more, it happened, and I absolutely adore him so much that it's unbelievable. I also like how Monty was trying to call Frank a woodpecker but couldn't think of the word and settled on "woodchipper." Like my good man. My fair lady. The scaliest of theydams. A woodchipper is a completely different thing than a woodpecker. You are so silly
An additional thing was that it was nice to see that Monty was actually considering Frank's offer to train FC more. They were asking questions and showing interest, they were listening, and they mentioned talking to Foxy about it. While they're still not a huge fan of Frank and they're still not besties with him or anything, it was nice to see them communicating and at least being some level of civil with each other (and that's mostly aimed at Monty, since being rude to Frank seemed to be a regular thing for them, for a while. Hopefully that'll start to change, though)

im back w a lot of these uhm. both umeko and yuuto pls
and maybe for umeko-rainbow something like what her older self would tell her current 8yr old self if that makes sense ? i hopes it does
🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self? 📎 PAPERCLIP - a random fact. ❇️ SPARKLE - what is their most prized possession? what do they value? 📏 RULER - is your oc well educated? where did they get their learning from? 🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone? 🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?
OOOGHH HELL YEAH !!! (also this ujst made me realize i probably shouldve specified the questions to my friend monty when i sent the emojis to him bc theres so fuckign many . lol whoops sorry monty o7)
🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?
UMEKO: "be a little more rebellious! live a little more! it's alright for you to make a fuss."
YUUTO: "find a new dream, no matter what that is. this one won't make you happy."
📎 PAPERCLIP - a random fact.
UMEKO: i've always associated her w bugs bc ilke . bees and butterflies and all so i ilke to think she just knows a bunch of bug facts . autistic child w a special interest in insects she must've been sooo happy to dump bee facts onto crazy:b
YUUTO: he's immensely claustrophobic . osrry i wanted to think of a Fun fact abt him here but i ujst couldnt hes not a fun person im sorry
❇️ SPARKLE - what is their most prized possession? what do they value?
UMEKO: she doesn't have any attachment to any of the souvenirs her parents buy, but anything crazy:b give her is IMMEDIATELY precious to her . i ilke to think they take her to build-a-bear sometime and get her a friend and she gets attached instantly
YUUTO: he doesn't care about material value, and he prides himself on being moldable and not feeling any particular way on anything, even his own likes, but, well. he still sleeps with his childhood toy in the end
📏 RULER - is your oc well educated? where did they get their learning from?
UMEKO: umeko is entirely homeschooled, her parents travel too much for her to have a stable school life. unfortunately it means her already shaky social life is even more abysmal :( also her parents are not doing a very good job at the homeschooling so,
YUUTO: yuuto is well-educated and though he's currently in high school (hope's peak) he's blastin through college level courses . it's always good to expand your knowledge just in case someone needs it!
🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?
UMEKO: that she isn't wanted
YUUTO: that he isn't needed
🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?
UMEKO: she's so so bad at lying she's ujst a little baby she thinks she's being sooooo clever ubt she can't keep a straight face to save her life and will probably give it away by gigglign
YUUTO: he is an extremely good liar. he doesn't do it unless it's asked of him, but when he does he will lie extremely smoothly
(oc emoji ask game)

stefrick ship meme 🤭
who’s more dominant: kind of a stupid question, low key. high key … all the keys. it's stefan, obviously. for obvious reasons.
who’s the cuddler: tell me why it's stefan again. we've had this conversation before. but in case anybody's lurking … maverick hates stefan and refuses to cuddle and so forth. actually he's just restless and fidgety, which he should stop, because stefan's trying to spoon him?
who’s the big spoon/little spoon: speaking of! most of the time, stefan's the big spoon. he's the protector here … according to a certain someone, anyway. but sometimes it's nice being held, too.
what’s their favorite non-sexual activity: hanging out :) watching tv on the couch, bantering at the bar, playing the one video game this man owns.
who uses all the hot water: maverick. because he's dirty, and he needs it.
most trivial thing they fight over: probably stefan's inability to answer a text. or use his words in general. which is only trivial to me because i do that :)
who does most of the cleaning: definitely stefan. he's a neat freak! and his boyfriend is like a live-in raccoon. he tries.
what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: i'll be giving this to maverick because stefan probably watches monty python on repeat and not much else. kind of autistic of him, actually. he'll watch anything maverick wants him to, though.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: stefan. maverick's too non-confrontational, he'd call sawyer to come fix it while stefan's at work.
who leaves their stuff around: maverick :/
who remembers to buy the milk: stefan. i cannot imagine maverick being responsible enough to grocery shop. he'd get all the sugary things and forget the toilet paper.
who remembers anniversaries: is it a cop out to say both? stefan remembers like, everything. only he wouldn't make a big deal out of it … unlike a certain someone …
who cooks normally: stefan, he likes his kitchen not on fire.
how often do they fight: almost never. somehow. it's weird and i don't like it.
what do they do when they’re away from each other: text :/ jerk off :/
nicknames for each other: fucking baby boy …
who is more likely to pay for dinner: stefan would and could. if maverick tries he's not allowed.
who steals the covers at night: maverick -,-
what would they get each other for gifts: honestly just weird sentimental type stuff the other mentioned once three years ago or something, like … i don't know. they pay attention and it's sooooo gay.
who kissed who first: stefan :$
who made the first move: technically maverick when he told stefan he wanted him sooooo bad back in 2016. and he got rejected! and death threatened! how the night changes.
who remembers things: both.
who started the relationship: it's not a relationship!!!!! except it kinda is, and maverick's going to have to drag it out of him and it's gonna be so embarrassing for them both.
who cusses more: stefan.
what would they do if the other one was hurt: well, stefan would kill someone possibly. other than that just be stupid and soft and here's a bandaid, aw.
who is the dirty talker: stefan, and we gag.
a head canon: maverick's gonna insist the apartment lacks life, because it does, so he's gonna force a dumb plant into it and stefan's gonna groan about it. but who's gonna be watering it? well, obviously not maverick … so …

Still working on Smoon-Mas I promise!! Just a lil allllll over the place with what i'm working on cause school, Christmas, and a recent move sooooo.....have this for the moment, the never made it to A03 Day 2 draft that I ended up rewriting cause this didn't work!
This will be unedited and not a final product (flubbed first draft) So if you want to read the ACTUAL final version of day 2 you can find it on my A03 :3
Onto the flubbed draft!
Content warnings: Censored swearing, mild angst...? At least I think it can read as angst
Smoon-Mas day 2 flubbed draft
It was only a few days into December and Moon was sick of hearing Christmas carols.
He had nothing against Christmas, he wasn’t a ‘grinch’ as he’s heard others be called, he quite liked Christmas, second to Halloween.
But…
There is only so many times one can handle listening to the terrible Freddy Fazbear’s trademark Christmas Carolstm aka cheap imitations of the originals featuring the plex animatronics.
Comedy bot the Snowman, Santa Freddy, Carol of the Pizza, Map bot the red nosed STAFF bot, Jingle bell rock-Monty Edition, We wish you a Merry Faz-mas.
And it’s been playing nonstop outside the daycare since the first.
They’ve listened to a few classic carols before during after hours and quite likes a few, hearing the original ‘Carol of the Bells’ in comparison to….’Carol of the Pizza’ he questions how the place even stays open with that…horror.
It physically pains him to hear it now, sure the daycare plays one song on loop but its not ruining something beautiful in the process.
And it makes him all the more grateful the company never tried…adding any F@#$!&% ‘trademark’ lullabies for them to have to sing to the stars.
But if the rest of the plex playing the songs on loop wasn’t bad enough; even now deep withing the confines of their mind space, he can just barely still make out Sun humming ‘Map bot the red nosed STAFF bot’.
No matter what, he can’t escape the carols.
Anywho, was NOT the vibes I was goin for, the prompts are supposed to be FLUFF not angst, also...the swearing even if censored just..feels weird so...this is not canon! Just a random draft :3

I haaaaate hate hate hate how people said Hazel's redemption arc made sense and Emerald's didn't?
I'd argue Hazel's does still make sense ofc but it's sooooo telling to me how ppl love his and hates hers.
Esp bc, imo, hers makes MORE sense?? We saw hints of it from volume THREE come on
If you want a short example, here's a screenshot by somebody on Twitter who noticed an annoying trend.
Here's the link if you're curious. https://twitter.com/spicybinch/status/1582743854477778944 Me personally?
I've noticed THIS particular issue.
Ruby Rose: Tries actively and super hard to always do the right thing and respect people’s choices.
RWBY Critics: OMG She’s so boring, come back when you have a personality.
Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna, Robyn Hill: Makes human mistakes, proving both are complex character with flaws, capable of evolving.
EruptionFang, Vexed Viewer, their followers: OMG See? She’s not a saint, she was a horrible person all along, idk why people act like she’s a good person, she should burn in hell.
And then we have the straight white guys who are the villains in RWBY. Yes, I'm excluding Hazel for this one because Unlike Roman, Adam, and Ironwood? Hazel takes accountability for his actions, tries to make amends, and shows actual regret...so already we see that like Emerald, he is given more of a chance of redemption than the three.
Roman Torchwick and Adam Taurus : Does awful things willingly, consistently and without reason, and may make jokes about hurting people in general.
EruptionFang and The RWBY Rewrite folks: OMG he’s so funny and hot. I love bad boys/villains/bad people. They MUST be morally grey, cause they're so cool, they must have a tragic backstory justifying their actions.
James Ironwood: Has a pathetic excuse for his actions, blames it on other people, never takes accountability, and does a teeny tiny good thing (Think of it as nepotism) and throws outbursts when he doesn’t get his way.
Fandom on all 3 men: OMG, he is so sad, my poor baby, he deserves so much better, my heart is breaking for him. He is a complex character with so many layers and he owns their horrible disgusting actions. But his actions are not his own fault. He has trauma. OMG so hot.
I mean they also scream character assassination when it comes to male antagonists, but let me ask you this.
You notice how these critics look at a robotic acting nanny for Penny Polendina by the name of Ciel Soleil, who only had 60 seconds of screentime, and whine about wasted potential?
Several things to keep in mind. 1, these people only call v1-3 "peak animation" because they put Monty on a pedestal, and because they were obsessed with yang's chest size. That's it.
2. These people are not used to women characters having more complexity than a male character. They were fed a diet of media that treated female characters badly in one way or another.
3. Last but not least. ANYTHING Miles and Kerry do, or ANYTHING a RWBY fan does, people will hold under a microscope. Yet insulting the show and the fandom gets people put on a pedestal.
The next time you see somebody get mad at female characters in RWBY getting some form of redemption? Check their comment or post history and see if maybe they have some weird issue towards women...or LGBT.
You ever noticed how these critics who claim to be fine with LGBT shipping or at least wlw shipping get so upset and uncomfortable at the mere thought of mlm shipping?

youre doing gods work w the boostle list i stg. once that drops its OVER for me. eithet that or ill just hyperfix rlly hard for a week then forget ab it. well see. is there any other dc shit youd rec or whatever while were at it.
MARTY my friend marty is doing gods work theyre helping me a lot rn remembering which specific issues of other comics they show up in before we get to the big big stuff like countdown
as for other dc stuff id rec....Well i recently finishing reading the 80s (and 60s) doom patrol comic and enjoyed it very much! im also watching the tv show and its good but the episodes are like an hour long so its like a Task to sit down and focus on. Im only like a handful of episodes in
I did not fucking care for like the first 20 issues of doom patrol 1987 and almost dropped it until i reached the grant morrison run and it was instantly so good i couldnt stop reading. Ive said this to my friends before but i would say its comparable to the works of stephen king in both the good and the bad ways. It was a good comic in the same way "It" was a good book
The 60s one is fine and i enjoyed it (it has rita! but so does the tv show so if you want to see her but dont want to read a 60s comic you can watch her there) but if youre in it for the surreal really weird storylines you mightve heard rumors of from dp the 80s run is where it all begins. honest to god id say just skip the issues until grant morrison takes over theyre so BORINGGGGG. IN MY OPINION
hm what else have i been reading OH. YOUNG JUSTICE 1998! i recently finished this one as well i dont know why it took me so long it was only 55 issues but it was SOOOOOO GOOD. i do not fucking like the young justice cartoon this comic is the superior yj media i mean just compare yj 98s kon (cool leather jacket. gay earring. undercut. tiny shades. TWO belts) to the tv shows kon (just a t shirt and jeans. ugly haircut. lame. stupid. ugly. die. Straight)
K*N -> THE COOLER KON EL
cant rec this comic enough mostly out of spite for the fact that when most people think of young justice they think of the swagless cartoon and not this beautiful team of teens. For one, the kids actually act like teens in the comic and not young adults having stupid relationship drama. Theyre sweet and stupid and care about eachother and the storylines are really thoughtful and opinionated. a lot of what im saying is regurgitated from things my much more eloquent friend monty has said about yj but since reading it for myself and now knowing firsthand i cant agree more. There was a really awesome story involving arrowette (cissie king jones) about a school shooting and gun violence. a lot of modern comics take the (pussy) centrist route when dealing with big controversies like this but they literally look to the camera and say GUN CONTROL **PLEASE!!!!!!!!**. in an ealier issue theres this funny moment where bart (impulse) zips away to stop some hunters from killing a deer and kon (superboy) is like did you really violate their AMERICAN right to shoot guns? AWESOME!!!!!!!!
also its just earnestly really really really funny. it has that sam and max style of humor which is why i think i loved it so much.
cant sing enough praises for this comic. Also in the yj show they had dick grayson as the robin for the first season? and wally? why do you hate tim drake and bart allen that much. tim kon and bart are a package deal dont separate them you bitch!
umm well that was only 2 comics i ended up recomending but i talked a lot about yj sooooo. there you go

Hello! I've been sending comments her and on the Twin's blog for a while but I was a bit too shy to send them off anon (I'm the person you introduced to the Sun and Moon show a bit back haha), but I finally have an account for this type of thing! So I wanted to come by and say how much I adore not only Lofi but also the SB art you've posted here in general! Really looking forward to how it all will play out! You've done an amazing job with it all!
A!?!?!?
Thank you sooooo much!
I'm trying to build my self-confidence with my art and I hope to make a few more little drawings of what happened to Foxy. Like there's a whole lot to his story. Some will be revealed in ch13, but the Daycare Attendant won't learn all the details.
and it's not like they'll learn it much in Twins. Foxy has only known the boys for about two days at this point.... Going into the story/trauma of how you died to your two coworkers who are essentially strangers and one of them almost attacked your handler... hahaha.. well... yeah he's not gonna get into that. He's a nice guy, but he's got his eye on them. He's heard rumors on the vine of what they did, but no one has told him specifics.... Freddy and Chica, the two friends of his that he is familiar with (Roxy and Monty are new and he just met Roxy) won't tell him exactly what happened with the place.... Freddy wants to put it behind them... and Chica hates talking about it. but Foxy has a feeling it's.... BAD.
sorry, rambled on Foxy too much. The pirate has a sharp eye and sharp wit and he's got his eyes on the boys in Twins.
I still draw Invader Zim stuff, but those comics always take so long for me to produce. But my patreons see it early

i saw your dark angel ask request and have come to ask you what you think everyone would dress as for halloween
YELL. BESTIE THANK YOU MWAH I LOVE YOU
I’m literally so bad with character asks like this skejbgseg but here’s my two cents anyway thank you sooo much <33
It’s actually really interesting to think what the possibilities would even be in the d*rk angel world of 2020. Like. Obviously animal themed costumes are out: it would be easy to imagine any of the X5 in cat costumes but i don’t think they would, it would hit too close to home. (Alec maayybe. Ironically.) Something like Frankenstein’s monster would also be in bad taste. Nothing with guns. I can’t remember if there’s ever any indication that movies are still being made in the post-pulse world, I think they only reference pre-pulse stuff? And then neither Max or Alec know what Star Wars is (I vaguely remember Alec asking if one Star Wars movie is the one with Captain Kirk and Max answering ”I guess” or something ajsdhrvrv. That used to baffle me and I’m still a little?? Did they mean to show us how distant those movies and things are in that world?) So idk if pop culture stuff is possible.
Max would obviously try and skip dressing up. Depending on where in the show this happens though - somewhere early season 1 I think she might say/think some lame line about how she feels like enough of a freak most of the time anyway. But later if she’s going with Logan she might commit and go with a costume. Thematically the costume being some kind of a d*rk angel would be sooo easy but when did they ever slot the name into the show in any way. (If you know the answer to this please share. Maybe I’m just not seeing the forest from the trees or whatever.) She might do a couples costume with Logan. Logan I could see doing something like Robin Hood (which. hmm.) but Max wouldn’t be Maid Marian so. Hmmm. No, I can’t come up with anything so I’m gonna say Max goes with a low effort cat suit and cat ears and Logan goes as Robin Hood. Then they smile a bit seeing each other and exchange lines like ”Power to the people, huh?” ”Something like that. Catsuit?” ”*shrug* Figured I’d use what I already had.” (I’m bad with dialogue but you get it.)
For Original Cindy, she’d either go as celebrity or character that’s queer. Someone from Xena because she references it (idk Xena unfortunately idk what the options are) or idk I’m thinking Prince. I think she may have had a Prince costume actually in the season 2 Halloween ep. Unfortunately I’ve only ever seen it once and I don’t intend to watch it ever again, it was sooooo bad, so I can’t really remember but that’s the vibes.
Alec?? We forgive him for not knowing Star Wars because he was brought up in a government facility, common verbal usage courses etc don’t cover all of pop culture and he doesn’t have Metatron to beam it into his brain but. Idk. Unfortunately he’s written in a way that he’d pick something that made him look attractive (due to recent events I want to say a cowboy outfit á la jenny thunder but that’s out of character.) Something generic, like a zombie or a doctor or a boxer which would be. very low effort. (Monty Cora.) Mayyybe a thief.
I think Joshua should’ve been allowed to dress up in the halloween ep. He could be a pirate or a character from one of the books he’s read. Or an astronaut, something that hides his face so that his face isn’t a part of the costume - if we assume that it’s a party with outside people. A ghost!!! With a sheet over him!!
Asha would probably know a little bit more about pop culture. Maybe Princess Leia or some other strong female character. Ben I’m not even going to try and vision. I think Sketchy was a vampire in the halloween ep so eh, he’d be something very generic.
I think that's all I've got for now skjbgskjegb mwah mwah kisses for sending this ask. And please weigh in if you have ideas, I want to hear them <33

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee (Book 1 of Montague Siblings)
Inuy21: Sooooo, I don’t really know what to say about this book. I really did like it in the beginning and enjoyed the characters but all the drama (one bad thing after another) really got old and just took away from the fun for me. I might have liked it more if the book had been from Percy’s POV instead of Henry’s
Jo: Inu likes softer characters, not assholes. She wants to see the growth from the outside, not the inside. Meanwhile I eat this shit up. Give me that sweet sweet character growth, not to mention Monty had a lot of baggage to shed. I’m a little disappointed that she didn’t enjoy it as much as I did, but I understand. Meanwhile, I love this book. I love the banter. I love how when they express their feelings, it doesn’t magically make everything better and fixed. I love what a fucking MESS Monty is. I can’t recommend this book enough.
Content Warning: homophobia. physical abuse. mental abuse. ableism. disfigurement, gun violence, alcoholism, racial slurs, racism, misogyny, forced institutionalization,

4, 7 and 17 for the film ask!! :DD
Sorry that it took me so long to answer to this! I've had so much on my mind and then constantly kept forgetting about this.
4. A film you could watch on repeat for the rest of your life?
Monty Python's Life of Brian, definitely! :D
***
7. A film you wish had a sequel?
Hmmm. Good question. There's so many good films that make me sad that I can't enjoy them even more, but having a sequel probably would not work at all so I'm happy they don't have a sequel. But hey, now I know! I'd so love to see more X-Men films with the newer cast, I'd love to see what happened to Charles and Erik after Dark Phoenix.
I haven't seen the New Mutants because it apparently has so many horror elements that I might not be able to handle it - I'm sensitive to jump scares but also the trailer seemed to have lots of flashing lights so I probably would not be able to watch that even for those... so I don't know if it brought anything to the franchise or if it even was a part of it. But yeah, I'd love to see more normal X-Men sequels.
***
17. Which cinematic universe would you like to live in?
I've kinda always wanted to live in Gotham City - Tim Burton's version would probably be awesome, I would just walk around in awe because of the aesthetics and then would got run over by a car cos I forgot to watch where I was going :DDD After The Dark Knight I wanted to be in Gotham City sooooo bad! But as awesome as it sounds like, I don't think it would be that good for my mental health. I'm already a scaredy cat in this small own where nothing happens so I'd go insane in Gotham City. Which, well, probably would be fitting cos everyone in there is more or less insane lmao.
I'll answer with yet another movie to this: Beetlejuice. If death looks like that... oh yes, sign me in! :D
Film ask game.

September 10: The 100 1x06 Fog of War
Mmmm watching another ep and it’s been less than six months since the last one?! * jinxes self *
Bellarke date at the outside cafe. (WHY IS THIS OUTSIDE CAFE NOT IN MORE FICS? WHY IS IT NOT IN MY FICS?)
I don’t always love Clarke’s art tbh but I do love her Mount Weather sketch.
“You won’t be by yourself.” They are canonically Soft with each other.
I have a hard time believing they would wait two days just sitting on their hands, Abby or no Abby. YOU GUYS WERE THE LEADERS. JUST LEAD STUFF.
“We’re at war. We’ve all done things,” is, like, first, beyond the point, because even in war, one doesn’t usually attack civilian villages. (Unless one is a terrorist.) And second, it’s weird that Bellamy would be defending Finn? Not really sure how to read that. Unless his hatred of Grounders is truly that intense, which is possible. And third, are they really still at war? Because after attacking the dropship, the Grounders have done... literally nothing? Like it’s a semi-war scenario.
“Next round’s on me.” Do they have to.... pay for things...? With what lol?
“Salvaged Monty’s still. Now if we could only salvage Monty.” Someone here has a sense of humor. Also lol @ everyone at Camp Jaha using a teenager’s illegal still.
Really, the “pardon for surviving” should not include time on the ground, because pardons aren’t forward looking. Also they bring back the idea of trying Finn later. They just don’t want to deal with Murphy and Finn, and don’t really see the massacre of Grounders as a big deal, which, I am a Sky Person partisan to the last, does not reflect well on them. I think also they still haven’t figured out what tf their judicial system on the ground is, and just don’t want to deal with that yet either. Which isn’t a great excuse but it’s of a piece with how this show deals with society-building questions in general. (By... not.)
And Finn still doesn’t even feel bad.
And Murphy thinks Clarke and Finn are still together...? I guess that makes sense given how long he was away. He’s ALWAYS behind on delinquent gossip.
Clarke to Murphy: “Just because they pardoned you doesn’t mean I have.” Another line that should be iconic.
If Mount Weather is the reason they never heard from any other Ark Stations then they should have heard from more of them after S2 just putting that out there.
Raven is so beautiful.
And I’m sorry but she’s completely in love with Clarke here.
“You and your friends are not soldiers...” Hmmmm except in a certain sense they kind of are. Love this s2 adults versus delinquents conflict though.
Anyway I realize this is just to get them going back to Mount Weather but they were apparently doing this radio mission to get more Guards from other stations, which never happened, which sort of reminds me of Day Trip and the ‘winter supplies’ excursion when apparently winter doesn’t exist in the future anyway.
Literally only now at the credits.... Why am I like this?
So Maya couldn’t survive on the ground, obviously, because blood isn’t good enough, it has to be bone marrow, which, fine, for plot purposes--but what if she could???
“I know the plan was to assimilate them into the gene pool.” COMPLETELY forgot about that. So they did have a reason for being so nice to them. That is a rather long term plan though...
With the delinquent blood, they’ll “live longer and feel better.” I wonder what the sickness rate is, then. What the quality of life is, low vitamin d aside.
“If I agree to harvest those kids, then I won’t deserve to see [the outside] again.”
That Finn is a good tracker is, like, not a retcon in the sense that this was true in season 1, but still a semi retcon in the sense that nothing in the very early episodes implies he’s Mr. Earth Skills. (Unlike, say... Wells.)
Privileged Ark people really do just throw rules around and up and down however they like. Like, Abby clearing her daughter’s friend because “he was trying to save his friends” even though what he did was objectively much worse than pretty much anything the 100 were imprisoned for? Or other people killed for? Hmmm,, yeah, okay.
Jaha’s death wish transformed into a lazy acceptance that he is invincible is truly one of the best character arcs on this show imo. Infuriating but amazing.
“How many times on the Ark did we go two days without water?”
He recognizes the prison as a train station, which is not objectively surprising but I bet the Grounders don’t know what it is. Somehow. Since memory isn’t a thing in the future either.
On the one hand, it’s reasonable to think that Finn’s attack was coordinated from above but on the other hand, these two prisoners literally could not have ordered it, because they have been... imprisoned... the entire time. And I mean truly putting two Sky People who could not themselves have been involved in another Sky Person’s murder spree into some sort of Saw scenario in response to that murder spree really isn’t “justice” in any sense of the word. Like truly the JD in me is just SCREAMING. There is no nexus between the people you have and the person you’re angry at, other than “Sky Person” but the thread is so tangled you’re just.... throwing around bloodshed for lolz. (I know it’s a test and that part isn’t dumb but the scaffolding of the test is DUMB.)
I am still not over that someone gave Jasper a stuffed toy bear as a thank you for giving Maya blood. Also, it looks like... an alarm clock?
I like Dante but every time he says “Jasper” it just creeps me out. Maybe it’s the way he’s, uh, playing him.
It is 100% true that Mount Weather was not meant to last that long. At least not in the sense of ‘as a closed facility.’
Ridiculous as it is to pardon Finn AND take him adventuring AND give him a gun, I like the tension between him and the others, that they have officially forgiven him, and want to still love him, but are wary of him, scared of him, for good reason. For all that people are constantly ‘doing bad things’ and yelling at each other about it, this scenario doesn’t really have a parallel anywhere else in the canon.
“According to Clarke, before the bombs, there were buildings everywhere here. I’m guessing some of the had access to the bunker. So we’re looking for ruins. Anything man-made.”
Bellamy says he and O aren’t under the Guard command. But in a way, aren’t they? Like aren’t the Guard basically in authority over all Arkers? I know I’m overthinking but does he see himself as more delinquent than Arker? Especially with the “our people” are in Mount Weather.
All those mice.... Or rodents....
What a scenario: Clarke and Finn hiding from the acid fog in a weird little personal bunker where they once fucked, and now there’s a dead body in it, and Finn put it there. Not even Olav can top this.
Raven playing with the radio is my kink.
Parking garage as tomb. Who would protect a parking garage with a big-ass steal door that protects cars from radiation? If it does lead to Mount Weather (no recollection if it does) I guess it could be... part of it? Idk. Nice aesthetic though.
Bellamy is very comfortable calling people Sir. Polite young man.
So Clarke’s Dad’s watch returns to Clarke. I can’t remember what ultimately happened to it. Is it basically tainted now?
Monty’s obscene jealousy of Maya just gets me every single time. Makes up for the horrendous second hand embarrassment I’m getting from the rest of this scene.
“Hey, it’s pizza day! Who’s hungry?” uhhhhhhhhhhmmmmm So natural. Cute dress though.
How did she figure out the breach wasn’t an accident? Or that there is surveillance? Anyway now that she knows she was experimented on, and that Jasper was experimented on, one would assume she is pissed. One would assume that’s part of why she shows them the Grounders. Also to stop Jasper perhaps from embroiling his people even more with (her own) untrustworthy people. Because truly it is in part to save them, but it’s also a real risk to herself, admitting this terrible thing she’s been a part of.
“To get you to agree to be her blood brother.” He’s not wrong but that language is sooooo jealous--both revealing the threat he feels (because Jasper is his ‘brother’) and diminishing the JasperMaya relationship (which he knows to be romantic, and is turning familiar.)
Why did the show ever try to top the pure horror of the Grounder Torture Prison?
“What are we supposed to do?” / “Die.” Another Iconic Exchange. This is Monty’s morality: uncompromising. Are the standards he sets for himself hypocritical or consistent? Also, some foreshadowing lol.
I wonder what Monty’s allegiance is to the other kids... Would he have irradiated the Mountain for them if Jasper were safe? Legit question because he defects to his mom’s side pretty fast in S3, and he would 100% leave Mount Weather through the side door just like Clarke, at this point, which Jasper refuses to do even if it were possible. I am intrigued by this scene and the switching of plans/different points of view.
So this is the revelation that the acid fog is a Mount Weather weapon. I always really liked that twist.
Okay so this explains why they didn’t get to the other stations, because they choose to keep the tower up to listen to Mount Weather, but it’s actually not a tough call bc if you defeat Mount Weather and take your people back, then you can get rid of the blocking signal, and then find your other people, so win-win, you just have to go in order and on that note, why did it take 3 months to find only one station??
Is that a....hand crank mp3?? Got a lot of juice from just a little bit of cranking.
There are a hella lot of storylines in this episode. I completely forgot about Jaha and Kane and Lexa.
Kane’s continuing death wish makes him utterly unreasonable. What in a million years makes you think that the Grounders value sacrifice as opposed to just being sadists? I mean, you don’t know. You’re imposing your value system and also your thought processes on them. You’re also assuming that if one of you killed the other, the survivor would actually get something, like a chance to negotiate, which is probably not true--in fact, Gustus basically told you as much with “We’ll hear the terms of your surrender form the survivor.” Winning means nothing except you get to surrender!! And probably die!! They are not coming to you in good faith is what I’m trying to say and having watched the whole season I know I am Right.
“You didn’t order the massacre.” / “Not that one.” Honestly dude get over it lol. Interesting that Jaha, although he has transformed in some ways, keeps to the old lines, about survival, the human race--and our people, if the human race is broader than just the Ark, which it is, and no big deal. So in some ways his morality has not changed at all, at its core.
Look, I’m sorry, not to be that person, but he probably would have been better off killing Lexa there. I mean, I know he’s choosing ‘an innocent’ in his mind but... what a power move to behead the Commander WHILE you’re her prisoner. Good old Jaha, smart and quick and sure of himself.
Just uh not quick enough at murdering I guess.
I’m no Lexa fan but that was an excellent entrance and it remains an excellent entrance. Also while I never thought she was as smart as people said, because name me another tactical decision she made that was actually good, this was a smart ploy. And probably the most subtle thing any Grounder character ever did, even if it does end with her basically beating Jaha up ‘as a message’ as if she were a gangster.
Is this the episode that introduces Blood Must Have Blood? Already Tired of it tbh.
This Clarke and Finn scene is so sad. I realize that they purposefully made him unredeemable at this point, that this story line was always intended to be the method by which he was written off, and that there’s only so much awkwardness you can write around this scenario, but nevertheless it would have been interesting to see Finn in the long term, in a way. Not redeemed.. I don’t know. Whatever I’m thinking it’s not in the range of this show, though, for sure.
Did Jasper and Monty tell all of the 47 everything? To get them to volunteer? (Answer: No, but they told at least Harper and Miller, maybe a few more.)
“How high are you right now?” We were SO robbed of more intoxicated!Monty scenes.
Jasper and Dante: creepy creepy creepy.
“There’s been a Wallace in this office since the bombs.” So glad to know we immediately reverted to some sort of pseud-monarchy post-nuclear war. That said it’s only been 97 years so that’s like 3 Wallaces tops.
Prioritizing the radio also means of course admitting that getting the 47 out of MW is a priority for Abby/Ark PTB, which wasn’t exactly clear before.
I’ve never been a fan of the “Build a brace for yours” line and I’m still not, because I think conflating physical and mental injuries is not exactly helpful, but I guess I appreciate it as a look into Raven’s mind--Raven, who has never really understood mental scars and never really does--and the soft way she says it is a sort of forgiveness. Not really forgiveness she has the right to offer, and in a way a very brash thing to do, because this was literally a war crime that her best friend committed, but nevertheless.
Jaha: appears. Everyone else: what the absolute fuck.
So on that mission they accomplished... literally nothing they set out to do lol.
What is that random shot of Camp Jaha doing there? They’re not within sight of it. They’re still where they set up tents.
I want to point out that this is the FIRST time the Grounders have demanded that the Sky People “leave” or implied in any way that they consider the Sky People to be on “their” land, and that this was never an issue in Season 1, when their beef seemed to be for things like crossing the river at Mount Weather, accidentally dropping their flares on a Grounder village, and torturing a Grounder spy. But I guess at this point the narrative needed to focus on something because the actual reason for the feud, which is roughly, we accidentally pissed each other off and then kept on retaliating, doesn’t play very well or make the Grounders, who were rehabilitated this season, very sympathetic. (Guess who still has zero sympathy lololol?)

I'm gonna build off of this a little to 1) emphasize my point, and 2) because I'm fixating and I want to
Long rambles with me sorta halfway dissecting each Eclipse we've seen under the cut. Might be some spoilers near the end for current Eclipse, if you're behind at all with the lore. I didn't go SUPER in depth with it, but there's still some plot stuff there that's mentioned
In the case of OG Eclipse, he tormented Sun and Moon and he made them miserable because they hurt him first (this is mostly on Moon for abandoning him). Eclipse himself didn't commit July 16th. He didn't WANT that to happen, and he tried to make Bloodmoon stay in Sun's mindscape a bit longer, but Bloodmoon didn't listen. Eclipse killed a government agent out of self-preservation, because Sun was being questioned about July 16th. Sun was very clearly distressed and didn't wanna talk about it, but the agent kept pushing, and then Eclipse came out and silenced him. With blowing up Lunar, that more more likely than not because Lunar, the person that Eclipse made for the sole purpose of being on his side side and sticking with him, went and switched sides. Lunar betrayed him, so he was likely incredibly hurt and lashed out
With Solar, yes, he killed two people (his Monty and his Moon), but both instances were out of self-defense/self-preservation. They came at him first, and if he didn't do something, he'd be severely damaged at best and dead at the absolute worst
Lord Eclipse got rid of his dimensions Moon. If his dimension is like the main one, he probably felt hurt by being abandoned and either lashed out or was seeking some form of justice for himself. Moon could also be perceived as a threat, so he may have also killed him because he didn't want Moon to be a threat to him anymore. If his dimension is one where Lunar betrayed him, then everything I said in the section for OG could apply here, too. Lord Eclipse got the Newton Star and successfully restarted the world. If he was going off of OG Eclipse's plan or something similar, it would've been because, in his mind, he wanted some kind of paradise where nothing was bad or wrong, and he wanted to be in a position of power (so that he couldn't be hurt anymore). Idk why he kept Sun around though, sooooo
Servant Eclipse? Got a bit hostile toward Gregory, sure, but never actually made any moves to hurt him. I'm not sure if it's legit or not, but some people suggested that he acted the way he did toward Gregory because he wanted Gregory to leave as fast as possible due to the mental state that his Lunar was in. Dude was blowing up/shooting things and calling it therapeutic, so yeah. I'd want kids to maybe stay away from that, too. In his own way, he might've been looking out for Gregory
Even with Ruin, since he's technically an Eclipse, him wiping out 5000+ dimensions was because he wanted to get rid of the creator. The creator does a lot of super awful, horrible things, and he hurts a lot of people in the process. Ruin was trying to get rid of as many versions of him as possible to keep him from hurting even more people in the future. Yeah, Solar died, and I'm still somewhat sad about it to a degree, but Ruin did say that there was no other way for him to execute his plan. He looked into it, and no matter what angle he was looking at it from, there was no way to save Solar
Current Eclipse? C'mon. He's softening, slowly but surely. He still puts up walls and is guarded with how he interacts with others, but recently, he stepped in and brought attention to the horrible state that Moon's in. He's being more helpful than ever before, and he's being more honest (with Earth, at least) than Monty and Moon combined. He's helping, and he's becoming a better person
Obviously I can't justify murdering innocent people or the literal genocide that happened (*cough cough* Ruin), and I can't justify doing horrible things to others, but like. Eclipses don't do things without a reason. I dunno what tf was going on with Eclipse in the dimension where supposedly Monty didn't exist, but for the most part, they're not violent beings. They're looking out for themselves and trying to avoid being hurt. In some instances, they're even trying to protect people, in really questionable and strange ways, but the intention is good
Currently thinking about the fact that, despite the way they sometimes present themselves, Eclipses (plural, because I'm talking about every Eclipse we've seen on TSAMS) are not inherently violent
They do what they do out of some self-preservation based instinct, and they lash out when they feel hurt or wronged or betrayed by someone. They do bad things, and they can say some really nasty, hurtful stuff sometimes, but so can everyone else. They can be petty and standoffish and defensive, and they can be infuriating at times, but one thing Eclipses aren't, however, is needlessly violent
