until i found you.
eddie munson x shy!reader
eddie munson knew everyone in the small town of hawkins, indiana. or at least he thought he did. it was a normal tuesday at hawkins high school when eddie was sitting with his friends from the hellfire club discussing the next campaign as per usual in the school cafeteria. he was laughing at a stupid joke one of the boys made before his eyes landed upon what he believed to be the most beautiful girl his cynical eyes have ever come across. she was sitting at a lunch table by herself with a chapter book in front of her and she seemed greatly interested in whatever she was reading. her eyebrows were furrowed and her tongue poked out of her mouth as she read what was in front of her.
eddie knew it was weird to stare, but he just could not help himself. “dude, what are you staring at…oh god” dustin henderson trailed off as he watched eddie get up from his seat and make his way over to the girl’s table. the hellfire club watched in anticipation, wondering which way this was going to go. eddie sat down in front of her and she pulled her attention from the book in front of her. even up close, she was just as beautiful. she watched as his chocolate brown eyes widened and he gulped a bit. “i-uh… what are you reading?” he asked nervously as he fiddled with the rings on his fingers.
she could feel her heartbeat quicken with each second. she never would have thought that the cutest guy in school would just walk up to her and start a conversation. “um..the princess bride.” she spoke. her voice was so soft and sweet, eddie swore he could have collapsed right then and there. they sat there for a split second, gazing into each other’s eyes. at that moment, it didn’t even feel like they were in public. “i-i’m eddie by the way. leader of the infamous hellfire club” he introduced. she smiled. a beautiful genuine smile.
“yes, the hellfire club. i’ve seen you guys around” she said. eddie felt his heart immediately skip a beat. “you’ve seen us around, huh? dont know how i could miss such a beautiful face” he smirked. he watched as her cheeks tinted a light red shade and she looked down at her closed book with a smile on her face. “you’re cute” she chuckled. her eyes immediately widened at the words that slipped past her lips while eddie smiled so hard his dimples were visible.
“hm.. well, you think i’m cute and i think you’re absolutely breathtaking so..would you wanna get some coffee with me sometime?” eddie asked, holding in a nervous breath. her heart was doing somersaults at this point. she’d had a crush on the metalhead since the beginning of her freshman year and now, here she was being asked out by him. eddie waited for her response with a heart full of hope. she nodded her head. “i’d love to” she smiled and eddie let out that breath he was keeping in. “good, good..i’m glad” he smiled at her.
it was that exact weekend they went on their coffee date. they talked and got to know each other to the point where there was nothing left to tell. eddie admired her love for books and cliche movies while she admired his love for music and dungeons and dragons. ever since that date, their friendship grew quickly. it seemed that no matter where eddie was, you could always find her by his side, following him around like a lost puppy. and eddie absolutely adored it. he never thought a girl would enjoy being around him as much as she did.
she didn’t care for the way people viewed him. she didn’t care for the weird looks she received from other students in the hallways. to the town, he was a “freak”. but to her, he was the sweetest angel she had ever crossed paths with. and eddie seemed to grow fiercely protective of her once he came to notice how emotionally sensitive she could be and how she wasn’t necessarily a social butterfly. after a few months of hanging out nearly every day, their friendship started to change. but not in a negative way. they both looked at each other in a way he didn’t understand. it was a look of admiration and love. one day after school, eddie drove her to lovers lake where he already had a picnic laid out on the grass with a soft blanket.
he held her hand as they walked over to the little setup. they sat there until the sun began to set. they talked, laughed, ate snacks, and flirted with each other. as she stared at the beautiful sunset, eddie took this as a chance to make his move. he gently put a finger under her chin and turned her head softly to look at him.
he didn’t miss the way her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. “can I kiss you?” he asked. their faces were so close that their lips were already brushing. she almost immediately nodded her head. “yeah..please” her voice came out in almost a whisper. in that moment with their lips pressed against each other, eddie swore he could melt. he loved how soft her lips were. how perfectly they both moved together in sync when kissing. “i never thought i’d ever fall in love until i found you” he mumbled with a smile as his forehead rested on hers.
just wanna say, i haven’t written anything in such a long time so, i’m so sorry if this is horrible. but thank you for taking the time to read it ♡

summerween |modern!eddie munson x reader|
prompt: eddie is itching to decorate for halloween. the only problem is, it's still summertime.
still on my fall shit, and still on my fluff shit. very fluffy and sweet for these two (i love them). short little fall ficlet. all fluff. language, that's really it. just fluff.
“It’s not even August.” You stare him down from your place behind the counter, arms crossed your white tank top, adding emphasis to your statement. It was hot, late July hot, too hot for Halloween decorations.
“Getting started early this year, sweetheart.” Eddie grinned, flashing a dazzling smile that had your chest swelling, cheeks tingling with warm rushes of emotion. “Never too early to get started.”
“This feels like too early.” You scoffed, rolling your eyes. Despite your protests and snide comments of how many weeks away October was, you still helped Eddie clean. Vacuum and mop, wipe down everything the way you always did before decorating.
“Kids aren’t even back in school, and you want to decorate?” You lifted a brow, cringing at the thud of the totes collecting a cloud of dust in the air from the dusty storage unit they’d been homed in since last November.
“Yeah, c’mon, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.” Eddie trilled dramatically, tearing the lid off the first box. A plethora of black and orange and purple figurines poked out, a waxy, plasticky scent following from the stored heat.
“Besides, everyone’s started putting stuff out. I keep seeing it on Instagram, people are finding all this cool shit. I wanna get what we have out, and then I was thinking we could go shopping tonight. Or tomorrow, just dependin’ on when we get done.” Eddie rambled excitedly, pulling out the tangled garland, eyes meeting yours with a sickly sweet pleading gaze.
You rolled your eyes, snatching the garland in dramatic irritation, sitting down on the couch to unravel it. “We’re putting all of this out today? What if I had other plans today?” You challenged, lifting a brow. You didn’t have any, of course, Eddie had already asked you that yesterday when he’d planned this.
“I’ll help you do them, baby. I promise. We don’t have to go shopping tomorrow if you don’t want to.” Eddie hummed sweetly, brown eyes rounding in the most adorable way towards you. “I just thought we’d go to Fort Wayne tomorrow. Take you shopping over there.”
Your lips pursed, too stubborn to relent so easily, but melting under his affection the way you always did. “There will be a million fuckin’ kids there tomorrow, Ed, school starts back in a week.”
“We can go first thing in the morning.” Eddie countered, proudly setting a plush ghost pillow next to the others. “Before it gets insane. I’ll wake up early for you.” He winked playfully.
Your lips rolled, fighting back a grin, chin ducking towards the garland. “Yeah, right.” You muttered. “You’ll sleep ‘til noon.”
“Nope. I’ll set twenty five alarms if I have to.” Eddie declared, unwrapping the glass figure carefully, wadding the paper back up. “You have my full consent to dump cold water on me if I don’t wake up after the third snooze. That’s what Wayne always did, and it always worked.”
You snorted lightly, facade breaking and a grin taking over your scowl. “Cold water? Like in a Disney Channel movie?” You lifted a brow, a snarky tease still in your tone.
Eddie grinned, dimples creasing deeply. “Yeah, I was a heavy sleeper. ‘Specially after I hit puberty, ya know? I think it was my seventh or eighth grade summer, I started playing Neverwinter Nights and would stay up all night. Then when school started, I didn’t stop, and I’d stay up the whole night and Wayne would be so pissed at me in the morning.” He shook his head lightly.
“One morning I wouldn’t get up, and I thought he’d finally just left me, was letting me stay home, and he came back, like, five minutes later with this popcorn bowl of ice water and dumped it on me.” Eddie snorted in laughter.
You barked out a laugh, an edge to your giggle that had Eddie blushing, his own laughter bubbling thick in his chest. “So that’s how he got you to get up?”
“Worked like a charm.” Eddie nodded, a half grin pulling at his lips.
“Good to know.” You lifted your brow, lips curled in a devious little grin. Eddie’s knees weakened at the sight. “I’ll keep that in mind the next time you sleep through my cousin’s gender reveal.”
Eddie rolled his eyes lightly. “Baby, that was- c’mon, even you agreed that it was insane that they had it at ten in the morning. Who has a party that early?”
“Parents, Eddie.” You huffed. “Adults.”
“Alright.” Eddie shook his head, trying to diffuse a fight he could sense was looming. “Hey, look, I forgot you got this.” He pulled the bright pink ceramic ghost out of the tub.
“Oh, I forgot about that.” Your face lit up, pulling the final knot loose of the garland’s chords. “Put her on the shelf- no, on the other side, Eddie.” You clicked your tongue in annoyance, nodding harshly towards the empty shelf on the TV stand.
Eddie flicked on the switch, the dim bulb fluttering to life before sticking it on the shelf, proudly. Normally, he thought pink decor- especially Halloween- killed the vibe. It was supposed to be scary and dark and gloomy and moody, not pastel. Until he met you. Then pastel pinks, oranges, purples, all made their way into his dark and gorey decor. Happy, cute ghosts with his grim reapers and skulls.
“Did you get this at Target?” Eddie pushed the ghost so it was center, spine straightening as he stood.
“Mm, I think so.” You hummed, hooking your foot on the edge of the tote, sliding it closer to you. “Maybe Home Goods.”
“I think they have that huge Home Goods in Fort Wayne, don’t they? We could go there tomorrow. Look for more.” Eddie slid beside you, throwing a hand over your waist, squeezing your hip gently just to feel you squirm. His lips pressed to your jaw, soft and pillowy, leaving a burning heat of excitement in their wake.
“Fine,” You relented, melting into his affection, letting him pull you into him victoriously. “But I want to go to Anthropologie too. I want to see if they have those cute witch glasses I saw.”
“Yeah, we can do that. We’ll hit the mall first then Home Goods.” Eddie muttered, nose nuzzling against your cheek.
“I think they’d be so cute on the bar cart, don’t you?” You hummed, nodding towards the tiny gold bar cart in the corner of the kitchen.
A new edition to the apartment. Eddie had searched high and low, finally found the one you wanted on Facebook Market and drove all the way to Muncie to get it. You had been so excited when he showed it to you, beaming in a way that was rare but felt exhilarating to be the reason for it. Right now, it was donning a tequila theme, one you saw on Pinterest and had to match.
“Yeah that would be. You know, Gareth used to date this girl, Ayesha, and she always got this wine called Witches Brew. It had a cool lookin’ label on it, that would be cool to add to it too.” Eddie tucked his chin down to look at you.
“Ooh, that would be cool.” Your eyes lit up, just enough to have Eddie’s chest swelling with pride. “Isn’t there a Total Wine near the exit? We can stop and look there.”
“Sounds like a date to me, baby.” Eddie squeezed you closer to his chest, fingers barely brushing your sides so you squirmed. He paused for a moment. “Are you sure you’re ok with me putting this up? I-I can wait if you really don’t want me to, I just, I’m just excited ya know-”
“-I know.” You turned, shifting in his arms to look at him. “It’s fine.” You sighed dramatically, a teasing in your tone.
“At least if we get it up now, we can see what we need to add. Get it before it sells out.” You muttered, spinning the tiny fake spell book in your hands. Eddie grinned, eyes shining with excitement.
“But,” You lifted a finger, face dropping back to something serious. “Not outside yet. Only inside.” You pointed your nail at him threateningly. “Don’t want the neighbors to think we’re total freaks.” Eddie snorted, arms wrapping around you, pulling you closer to his chest so you were chest to chest, nearly nose to nose. “Please, a little late for that, babe.” Eddie snorted loudly. “They already know we're total freaks, what do you mean? They’ve definitely heard us being total freaks before- oof!” You cut him off, smacking him with a bat shaped pillow.

this was supposed to be a headcanon, just me explaining that I want to see their routines bleed into each others and it turned into 3k words. So, you can also read it on ao3 here. And here are the rings I was visualizing. I hope you enjoy it <3
One of the first nights he stays over, Eddie stands outside Steve's bathroom door and asks Steve what he's doing in there.
He got in before Eddie went to shower across the hall and Eddie's clean and changed into his borrowed PJs now, and Steve's still in there, and it sounds like he's banging pots and pans inside.
Steve laughs, but calls "Don't laugh,"
Eddie swears "I would never," as Steve opens the door, and when Steve comes out with his face covered in green goo, instead of laughing, Eddie gasps.
"What's that?" Eddies asks, his finger already drawing a line across Steve's cheek.
Before Steve can answer, Eddie puts the goo into his mouth.
Steve's eyes go wide as plates.
"Eddie!" he protests "You're not supposed to eat it! What if it's toxic?"
"Is it?" Eddie asks, licking his teeth, "tastes like cucumber. But like, way too clean,"
Steve chuckles, "It is made of cucumber, its a mask. Supposed to keep your skin nice." he explains, going back into his bathroom to cover the strip that Eddie scrubbed with more of the goo.
Eddie does not hesitate to follow after him. Hopping up on the ample counter to observe.
"Well, it's doing its job well, I think" Eddie points out.
Steve tries his best not to smile. "Thanks," he says "You're not freaked out by it?" he asks,
"I think it's cool" Eddie shrug,
Steve can't help his smile this time.
"Well this works out well because I have to keep it on for 10 minutes and this way i won't get bored." Steve offers, "What were you saying about Stevie Nicks before?"
Eddie talks his ear off while Steve tidies up the containers in his counter.
Once it's time to wash the mask off, Eddie watches him, then, he dutifully washes his own hands so he can poke a finger at one of Steve's cheeks.
He says it's cool to the touch and really soft. He approves.
Steve feels butterflies fluttering inside his chest.
☀♡☀♡
After that, it becomes a habit, Eddie goes and showers and changes and when he's ready for bed he comes keep Steve company, knocks twice for Steve to open the door and once he does he walks in and takes his place up on the counter.
A few months after they get together, Steve notices Eddie staring during a lull in their conversation while Steve is going through his skin care.
He's done it before a few times in the past weeks, Steve figured he was maybe off on a train of thought but now he's curious. Eddie's got his head tilted to the side, his mouth is scrunched up like he's stopping himself from saying something and he's fiddling with his rings, and suddenly something clicks for Steve.
He's applying a mask with a little wooden applicator and he extends it towards Eddie, presents it in front of his big beautiful brown eyes.
"D'you wanna try?" he offers
Eddie's eyes twinkle. His mouth blooms into a smirk, his dimples showing up as he enthusiastically nods and cranes his neck forward, like the only possible option is for Steve to apply it for him.
Steve laughs quietly, stepping closer to him and placing a kiss to his cheek.
"Why didn't you say?" he asks, still kissing him, his lips moving against Eddie's cheeks and making him giggle.
"I don't know" Eddie says "What if you didn't wanna share it? You've said before, this stuff is personal"
Steve draws back and immediately goes back in to press kisses against Eddie's other cheek.
"Well, yeah, we have to get you your own stuff if you like it, but you can share mine for now, sunshine." another kiss. "I don't mind." and another kiss "I would love for you to share it actually" he presses one final kiss and draws back to admire his work: Eddie's smile as wide as it gets and Eddie's cheeks tinted with the softest, prettiest red.
"You have to teach me." Eddie demands "I know I've watched you do it since forever, but i don't think I can do it on my own" he adds.
Steve smiles, completely enamored "You've done it for me before. Several times" he points out
"Yeah, with you coaching me through it!" Eddie whines, "I'd mess it all up" he's so serious, Steve finds it incredibly endearing.
Steve chuckles and leans over to press a small kiss against the bridge of Eddie's nose. "Mmkay" he murmurs "we gotta wash your face first"
☀♡☀♡
Little by little, Eddie gets confident enough to do it himself. Once he understands what everything does and sees the effects it all has on his skin, he even picks and chooses the steps he wants to do each day.
Steve loves it so much he can't put it into words. And he loves that he doesn't have to do this alone anymore.
Even when they're apart Eddie calls while Steve goes through his routine, sometimes they do it together but over the phone. Even when Eddie doesn't feel like doing anything at all he still sits by him and they talk about everything and nothing. Steve never imagined something so simple could make him so happy.
☀♡☀♡☀♡☀♡☀♡☀♡
For Eddie, it's even more simple but just as important.
The first time he catches Steve eyeing his rings is while he's being forced to listen to a Tears for Fears record.
Steve insists that they're good, Eddie's been staunchly refusing, but only because he likes seeing Steve get riled up. He gets bitchy and Eddie thinks he's the hottest person he's ever met.
Eddie's been trying to rile him up again as they lay on his bed and listen to the record, but Steve is not listening, his eyes are trained on Eddie's hands as he moves them around to explain his points. Once he figures it out, Eddie goes quiet for a bit, just moves a hand.
Steve's eyes follow it.
Eddie slides his skull ring off his hand and offers a waiting hand.
Steve's hazel eyes look at the ring, then at his waiting palm, then at Eddie. Eddie raises his eyebrows and smiles encouragingly and Steve finally places his hand in his.
Eddie slides the ring on and off three of Steve's fingers before he finds the right fit.
"There you go" he says, his voice quiet under the music. His throat dry from all the places they're touching.
Steve raises his hand above their heads, turns it around as he looks at the ring.
"I like it" Steve decides with a smile.
"You can keep it" Eddie says, without thinking.
Steve looks at him with wide beautiful eyes. "I- I don't" he stammers,
"Oh" Eddie says "I mean, you don't have to. It's okay" he tells him.
Steve shakes his head a little. "It's not-" he seems to have trouble finding the words.
"Give it here" Eddie supplies after a beat, offering up his waiting palm again.
Steve puckers his lips and slides the ring off his hand, places it on Eddie's waiting palm for him to slide it back on.
☀♡☀♡
After that, Eddie expects the looks will stop, maybe Steve just wanted to see what it was like to wear one, that's okay.
But, that same weekend, while they're smoking, lying on Eddie's bed this time, Steve is doing it again, his eyes focused on Eddie's fingers whenever they pass the blunt between them.
Eddie tries a different approach this time.
"Which one do you like?" he asks,
When Steve raises his eyebrows, Eddie raises both his hands above their heads, clicks his rings together.
"Which one do I like the most?" Steve asks,
Not what Eddie said, but-
"Sure" he shrugs, intrigued.
"Hmm" Steve hums, bringing his fingers up to trace Eddie's rings. Eddies tries his best to suppress his shiver.
Steve finally lands on a ring, one with a deep brown stone in it.
"This one." he states quietly.
Wordlessly, Eddie hooks his right pinky around Steve's left index finger and holds on while he twists their hands around to slide the ring off his finger and onto Steve's.
"It's pretty" Steve comments, slowly disentangling their hands.
Eddie hums an assent.
Steve moves his hand around. "Feels heavy." he notices.
Eddie turns his head to look at Steve's face. "Yeah," he confirms.
He waits until Steve looks back at him to offer.
"Do you want that one?" Eddie whispers.
Steve looks into both his eyes, one after the other and the handsomest smile blooms on his face, he nods.
"If I can have it." Steve whispers back.
Eddie clears his throat so his voice is not so hoarse "It's yours" he confirms with a smile of his own.
"Thanks, Eds. I'm gonna buy one for you to replace it" Steve promises, admiring his ring.
"You don't have to" Eddie tells him, "I'm giving it to you"
"I know. I want to" Steve says.
Steve holds their blunt to Eddie's lips again, says "Tell me about your song again" and once Eddie leans up and takes the blunt, Steve hooks their pinkies together.
Eddie tells him about the bridge he found and how he can't quite find an ending.
☀♡☀♡
A week or so later they share their first kiss. Huddled together under Steve's bed covers in the middle of the night.
In between that night and the first time they tug at each other's clothes, tucked inside Eddie's van in the early hours of the morning after a very intense Corroded Coffin gig, Steve continues taking Eddie's rings and wearing them for random stretches of time.
He calls Eddie "sunshine" and Eddie calls him "sweetheart". They cook for each other and then together, they watch movies, they talk after they have nightmares, well into the sunrise. They go for swims and they have picnics and they hold hands.
Eddie takes his rings off to go to the bathroom and often he'll come back to find one missing, or, not really missing, just on one of Steve's fingers. Steve usually gives it back by the end of their hangout or the next day they see each other.
Sometimes, Steve takes the rings right off Eddie's hand and Eddie lets him. Steve tries on each and every one, and keeps his favorite, rearranging the rest on Eddie's hands in some particular way, by size, or by color, or by "symbolism" he said once. Eddie adores him.
Those rings he usually gets back within the week.
Some other times, Steve will have a specific request, he even called Eddie once to ask if he could borrow a specific ring he thought would go well with the outfit he had planned for their date the next day. Eddie was delighted.
The first rings Eddie buys for Steve are an ordeal for him. He's so nervous, afraid that Steve won't like them, or that he won't want to have any of his own (even though he wears the one with the brown stone every day), or that he'll refuse to accept them.
He tells Steve that the girl that helped him said he could exchange them even for store credit if he didn't like them. Which, is a lie, but Eddie can make it happen if need be.
Thankfully, he doesn't have to, Steve loves them. Eddie chose one of intertwined metal bands, one with the phases of the moon around it and one that looks like arms are hugging Steve's finger. Steve especially likes that last one.
After that, Eddie takes Steve with him when he goes shopping for rings.
The first ring Steve buys for Eddie, the one that's supposed to "replace" the one with the brown stone, is a sun signet. Eddie maybe tears up a little bit.
It becomes such a part of them, that soon it's virtually impossible to say whose rings are in their bedside table.
Some mornings one of them is in charge of assigning the rings. Some others whoever gets to the side table first gets to choose his rings and leave the rest for the other. Regardless, Eddie loves to sit down and watch Steve pick out and put on his rings for the day. Taking time out of his day, every. single. morning. When he didn't wear rings before Eddie gifted him one. It makes Eddie want to cling to him and press kisses to his beautiful hair.
Some days, when it's Steve's turn to assign the rings he gets a little too into it. Organizing and reorganizing them in different ways, always in neat little rows until they're five minutes late and Eddie has to force himself to say "Stevie, we have to go" even though he could watch Steve organize things and mumble around the explanations for each method for days on end.
The real kicker though, is when Steve buys rings for Eddie that are more Steve's style. He buys rings for Eddie that he would like to wear himself. Because he knows eventually, he'll end up wearing Eddie's rings, no matter what. It's such a declaration of his intent to stick around that Eddie never quite knows what to say.
Steve also plays with his rings now, just as he plays with Eddie's, fiddles with them, removes them for cooking or cleaning, puts them in his pockets or in his glove compartment, they're a part of him as much as Eddie's rings are a part of Eddie, as much as Steve is a part of Eddie.
Eddie likes when their rings clink together when they hold hands, he loves feeling Steve's rings against his skin, in the small of his back or up his sides beneath his shirt. And he absolutely adores stealing Steve's rings too, slipping them off his fingers and into his own, feeling the residual warmth form where Steve's been going about his day with this piece of metal in his hand, Eddie can think of nothing better.
☀♡☀♡
"Eds have you seen my ring?" Steve asks him one night, coming into the kitchen where Eddie's making them pancakes for dinner.
"You're gonna have to be a little bit more specific, big boy" Eddie answers, flipping a pancake.
"No, Eddie" Steve presses, the panic in his tone finally registering and Eddie immediately turns to look at him.
His hair is a mess, like he's been pulling on it, even though he was in the middle of his shower when Eddie left him to come make dinner.
"Oh," Eddie says, finally understanding he means the ring with the brown stone. "I don't have it baby, where did you see it last?" Eddie asks, turning off the stove.
"I left it in the bedside table!" Steve explains, clearly frustrated "it's not there anymore, and it's not on the drawers or on the bed or in the floor or behind the door. I don't know where it is." he finishes, tears forming in his eyes.
Eddie hates seeing him so stressed, he walks up to him and runs his hand up and down his arms.
"We'll find it sweetheart, it's okay. Did you check under the dresser?" Eddie asks.
There was a dresser in their house when they bought it, inside their bedroom. Apparently, the previous owner did not want to deal with the trouble of getting it out and as it turned out, neither did Steve and Eddie. It was a beautiful vintage piece of furniture and it was heavy as a motherfucker.
"Oh. I didn't?" Steve says, "How would it get all the way there?"
The dresser is placed across their bed, so in the wall opposite their bedside tables.
"It seems crazy, but it's happened with a couple of mine" Eddie tells him, "I'm telling you, this place is on a slant" he says, already grabbing Steve and tugging him towards their bedroom.
"Fuck, I hope it's there" he mumbles.
"It will be," Eddie assures him
"What if it went down the drain?" Steve anxiously asks,
"You almost never leave your rings in the bathroom, handsome"
"But what if I did?" Steve insists,
"Then I will go down to the sewers to get it for you" Eddie tells him as they enter their bedroom.
Steve goes to get on the floor but Eddie brings their joined hands to his lips and presses a kiss there, says "Here, I'll look" and gets on his hands and knees in front of their dresser.
Sure enough, there's a small shadow at the very back, the object nearly touching the wall. Eddie comes up to tell Steve and bangs his head against one of the dresser handles.
"Jesus!" Steve exclaims, rubbing Eddie's head for him, "Is it there?" he asks.
Eddie scrunches his eyes shut against the pain and gives Steve a thumbs up, "Mmhm, I think so," he confirms, "You have a ruler on your desk," he tells Steve
Without needing another word Steve goes and gets it for him.
When Eddie finally fishes the ring out, Steve grabs it and clutches it to his chest
"Ohmygod. Thank you" he says, leaning his head against the dresser.
Eddie gets up off the floor and drags him to stand in front of him as Eddie sits in their bed.
Steve takes a couple of moments to breathe deeply, letting go of the last dregs of his panic. Eddie clings to Steve's waist and noses his shirt up to kiss the scarred skin on his side.
Steve finally chuckles softly, bunches his fingers up at the top of Eddie's head.
"Does it hurt too much?" he asks, rubbing at Eddie's head again.
Eddie shakes his head.
Steve switches to petting his hair and softly laughs "God, I almost got a heart attack"
Eddie chuckles, leaning his chin on Steve's stomach to look up at him.
"I love you" he reminds him.
Steve traces his dimples, says "I love you", then grabs one of Eddie's hands from his waist and slides the ring on his hand.
"It's your job to take care of it now. When I'm not wearing it" Steve tells him.
"I will." Eddie promises.
Inevitably, Steve ends up taking care of Eddie's sun signet whenever he's not wearing it, just in case.
The longest they wear those rings for the other is a few months, between getting engaged and exchanging them again at their wedding ceremony.
#i might write their first kiss from this later on. for now- i hope you love this. i sure do! even if its a little all over the place :3#steddie#steddie headcanon#steve x eddie#steveddie#stranger things#.

Steve is staring out at the rain and the soggy decorations dangling sadly from the branches of the apple tree when he hears the bedroom door open.
“Hey Robs,” he sighs, fiddling with the flimsy zipper of the dry cleaner bag. “Do you think it’s too late to reschedule the whole thing? I know Eddie will be disappointed, but-”
“Disappointed?” says a voice behind him. A very familiar, very male voice that is distinctly not Robin’s. “I think the word you’re looking for is fucking livid, honey.”
“What the fuck?” Steve yelps, whirling around so suddenly he nearly topples. “I told Dustin to get Robin!”
Eddie shrugs - or at least Steve thinks he does. It’s a bit hard to say with only his head poking into the room, the rest of him still hidden behind the half-open door. “She’s downstairs talking to the caterer. Can I come in or what? Dustin said, and I quote, Dad looks like he’s about to puke on his ugly-ass shoes.”
Steve’s gaze flicks down to his tan leather slippers. He bought them especially for today, to have something to go with his cream suit.
“It’s bad luck to see each other before the ceremony,” he mutters.
“Yeah right,” Eddie snorts and steps into the room. The mumble of voices from downstairs dims as he shuts the door behind him. “Except from what you just said, you’d rather not have a ceremony at all.”
“That’s not true,” Steve blurts. “Of course I wanna- … oh shit, you look amazing.”
Eddie smiles - the boyish and dimpled one that was one of the first things Steve fell in love with - playing with the lapels of his suit jacket. Black, just like his shirt and tie and pants. His hair has been tamed into a braid, the first stubborn strands already escaping and curling around his face.
“Thanks,” he says, black leather shoes nervously scuffing on the bedroom floor. “You only get married once, huh? If you still wanna. Marry me, that is.”
Steve groans. The dry cleaner bag, still clutched in his clammy hands, crinkles as he flops down on the bed.
“Of course I wanna marry you. I wanna marry you so fucking badly, you have no idea!”
Eddie’s brow wrinkles. “Then what’s the problem?”
“What’s the problem?” Steve blurts, gesturing frantically at the curtain of rain behind the windowpane. “I wanted this to be perfect, and now? Weather forecast says it won’t stop raining until tomorrow, and even if it did, the yard’s a fucking mud field. And as if that wasn’t enough, the fucking dry cleaner ruined my suit jacket.”
He unzips the bag, shaking the mess inside at Eddie’s face. Those pretty brown eyes grow large.
“Whoa,” Eddie mutters. “Please tell me you demanded your money back.”
Steve doesn't reply, just continues to stare at him with the same glum expression. Eddie’s eyes go soft and he huffs a laugh.
“Hey,” he says, plucking the bag from Steve’s hands and tossing it over a chair. Then, he plops down on the mattress beside him, knee to knee, and links their fingers. “Do you remember when we first met?”
“Huh?” Steve blinks. “Yes, of course, why do you-”
“I was one failed rent payment away from sleeping on the curb,” Eddie interrupts him, smile wide and happy. “The power company had cut me off weeks ago, and besides, I had pawned my laptop, so I hand wrote my application for that job you'd posted. Not that I thought I'd get it, but I was sort of grasping at straws, y’know?”
His smile is warm and fond when he looks at Steve.
“That apartment building of yours was so fucking fancy. And then you barged out of that stupid, pompous penthouse and I thought shit, not only is he filthy rich, he's also disgustingly hot on top? Gimme a break, that's just unfair.”
Steve scoffs, heat prickling at the base of his neck. “C'mon now, I was a mess. My father was breathing down my back at work, I felt like I was failing as a dad. The bags under my eyes were probably reaching my knees.”
Eddie laughs, loud and carefree and Steve loves him. Loves him so fucking much, wants to spend the rest of his life listening to that laugh. Still can't believe he'll get to.
“Okay, one: you looked like a fucking dream, baby. And two: I think we can agree we both weren't in the best of places, each in his own way. Right?”
Steve scoffs. “Yeah, agreed.”
Eddie's fingers squeeze his, the touch warm and familiar. The shape of his hand. The warm metal of his rings. Skulls and crosses, and the plain silver one Steve gave him on the day he proposed to him. “And still here we are, huh?”
Steve takes a moment to let this sink in. Here they are. The man he loves and him, with the family they chose downstairs, ready to build a future together.
“Yeah,” he breathes. “Here we are, I guess.”
“So, what d’you say?” Eddie hums, lifting their entwined hands to kiss Steve’s knuckles. “You wanna get married?”
Steve can't help it, he laughs. “Hell yeah, let's do it.”
“Yesss,” Eddie cheers, jumping off the bed and punching at the air. “Let's fucking go!”
Then, he starts unlacing his shoes. He's taken off his socks and is rolling up his pants before Steve finds his words again.
“Erm, Eddie? What are you doing?”
Eddie, just in the process of shrugging out of his suit jacket, shoots him a toothy grin. “What we do best, love. I'm making it work.”
They say their vows ankle-deep in mud, with the wind blowing rain under their umbrella and ruining their hair. It's nothing like Steve ever imagined his wedding day to be. It's all he never knew he wanted.
And damn if that isn't its own kind of perfect.

this place is such great motivation for anyone trying to move the fuck away from hibernation
chapter 1: before also on AO3 based on this post Rated E for future chapters
🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰🧰
Nobody thought he could do it, but he did.
He graduated.
He was gonna get out of here.
He was gonna be someone.
The woman he celebrated with reminded him of Steve. He couldn’t lie to himself about it, knew the exact reasons he’d let her flirt with him, let her touch his arm, let her kiss him against the wall of the hallway of the bar leading to the bathrooms.
She was beautiful, of course, her hair a golden brown, eyes a soft brown. She had freckles along her cheeks and one on the tip of her nose.
Easily kissable if he were looking for more than one night.
He couldn’t give her that.
But he didn’t get the idea that she was interested in more than that anyway.
The back of the van was the perfect place to fuck her, and the fact that she didn’t really seem disgusted or annoyed by it further proved that she wasn’t interested in anything beyond tonight with him.
She was good, liked it a little rough, kissed him like she needed his lips on hers to survive.
Eddie was lost in it, not drunk enough to realize they’d forgotten to use a condom, but drunk enough to ignore it.
She was probably on birth control anyway.
It wouldn’t be anything more than tonight.
————————————————————
“Eds, I’m sorry about this, but they called me in for a shift. They’re pretty short staffed lately, so I think I should go,” Wayne said while Eddie was putting on his coveralls for work.
He was bouncing Mia on his hip, smiling down at her as he spoke to Eddie from the bathroom doorway.
“No, I get it,” Eddie replied.
He did. He totally understood.
When Mia’s mom had shown up with her on his doorstep, hospital bracelets still on them both, he’d already felt the shift of his entire life.
There was no denying Mia was his, even at only three days old.
So he held her in his arms, and he cried until Wayne got home from work, and then they figured it out.
He owed Wayne so much even before Mia, but now, as her number one caretaker, he owed Wayne everything.
So, yeah, he understood.
But it didn’t negate the fact that he was now going to have to take her to work with him on a day that the secretary wouldn’t be in to help keep an eye on her.
She was at the age where crawling could happen any day, and she was antsy if she was held for too long or stuck in her car seat or pack and play for more than 15 minutes.
But the shop was no place for a baby to learn to crawl, and that meant keeping her contained in something while he worked his Saturday shift.
“I don’t have to go in for a couple hours, so I could keep her here and drop her off on my way?” Wayne offered, knowing Eddie’s brain was trying to figure everything out.
“No, I may be in the middle of something when you get there so it’d be easier to just go ahead and have her there,” Eddie sighed. “Is her bounce seat in the truck?”
“I can check.”
Wayne passed her off to him, kissing the top of her head before he walked out to the truck.
“Hey, superstar. You wanna come to work with Daddy?” Eddie asked, laughing when she giggled and smacked his face in excitement. “Guess that’s a yes. You gonna behave or are you gonna cause trouble?”
“Ba!” Mia yelled, smacking him again.
“Ba for behave? I sure hope so,” he said quietly.
The guys at the shop were totally fine with her being there, and often turned the music down and watched their language more, but he knew it was an annoyance.
Everyone there had kids, yet he was the only one who had to bring his.
Everyone there also had wives who mostly stayed home or worked at the school so they had someone to watch their kids, but that wasn’t easy to remember when he started feeling bad.
“Better get you in something warm. It’s chilly out there,” Eddie poked at her cheek, where her dimple was on display.
She was a happy baby, hardly cried even when she was a newborn. He was incredibly lucky, would hate to know how much worse off they’d have been if she was a fussy baby.
He brought her into their shared room of the trailer, setting her down on the changing table.
He changed her quickly, buttoning her up in her warmest onesie and sweater, already trying to figure out how he would keep a blanket on her legs when she just kicked so damn much when Wayne walked into the room.
“Bounce seat is in your van. She should be pretty happy in that. Lets her get those legs moving,” Wayne said fondly. “You sure you’re good? Maybe I could try to call someone.”
“No, it’s okay. I’ve got it,” Eddie said with a smile.
“I know ya do, kid,” Wayne patted his shoulder before walking back out of the room.
“Alright, Miss Mia. Time to go start pulling your weight around here. You’ll have to get under those cars and do some oil changes if you wanna pay for those rice snacks you like so much,” he joked, tickling her side.
She giggled, and then started laughing uncontrollably.
It was his favorite laugh.
He couldn’t help but laugh along with her, picking her up and swinging her around before settling her against his hip.
She was his whole life, and if he could spend all of it making her laugh like that, he’d be the happiest person in the world.
————————————————————————
“Right, and I think last time we did mention you would need a cabin filter replacement on your next visit,” Eddie explained to the customer who was irate that they were recommending a cabin filter replacement in his car that somehow managed to still run despite its ignored maintenance.
“And if you remember, I told ya then that was a bunch of horse shit. Cabin filters don’t have to be replaced but every few years,” the man insisted.
“Sir, I do wish that were true, but-“
“Ed? Mia’s gettin’ a little fussy. Want me to hold her while you handle this?” Adam said from the doorway into the shop.
Eddie sighed and wiped his hand down his face, forgetting there was still a bit of oil on it from the last car he’d worked on.
“Sure, thanks man,” Eddie replied with a small smile.
“You either do it for free or I want my car back the way it was,” the man said when Adam went back into the shop area.
“I’m sorry, sir, we just don’t recommend driving it with the old cabin filter and-“
“Where’s your manager?”
Eddie threw his head back and groaned.
Should he have done it? No.
But his least favorite part of Saturdays was that he had to deal with rude customers by himself.
“He isn’t in on Saturdays. I’m the assistant manager. If I take the new cabin filter out of your car and put the old one back, your car is on its last days.”
“That’s what ya say every time I come.”
“Which is often. Because you don’t do what we tell you to do. Look, I’ve got two more cars to do, so if you wanna take the risk, I’ll go put your old filter back in. Or you can just pay us the $20 for the labor and new filter and maybe get another five or ten thousand miles out of that thing.”
That was generous.
This guy’s car was older than Eddie. He’d be lucky to get another 100 miles out of it, even with a new filter.
“Ed, sorry man. It’s just Mia isn’t calming down,” Adam stood in the doorway holding Mia, who was crying and rubbing her eyes, clearly ready for a nap but unable to because of the noise in the shop.
“Yeah, be right there,” Eddie said, and Adam, the best guy he knew besides Wayne, smiled reassuringly at him and went back into the shop with her.
“Why’s there a baby here?” the man asked, arms crossed.
“She’s my daughter. No one else could watch her.” Eddie walked behind the counter and wrote up a receipt showing he was refusing the new cabin filter. “Sign this saying we aren’t responsible for if your car catches fire, which it inevitably will soon, by not changing the cabin filter.”
The man signed it, then huffed about mechanics thinking they know everything.
Eddie barely managed to stop himself from rolling his eyes.
When he went back in the shop, Mia was full on screaming, something she rarely did, even when she was hungry or needed a diaper change.
“What’s wrong, metalhead in training?” he asked as he took her from Adam’s arms. “Sorry guys, she doesn’t usually do this.”
“No, we know man. It’s alright. She isn’t getting sick, is she?”
“Don’t think so. I just think she’s tired. It’s her nap time,” Eddie sighed, looking at the clock.
Three hours left.
He could do this.
They could do this.
“Do you think you can put his old cabin filter back in while I walk with her outside to calm her down?” Eddie asked Adam, noticing a car pulling into the parking lot.
Normally, Saturday mornings were busy, but around lunchtime, things slowed down. It seemed like he wouldn’t be so lucky today.
“Yeah, no problem.”
“I’ll see what this person needs while I’m out there,” Eddie said, nodding towards the front where someone was walking into the shop.
Eddie made his way to the front, ignoring the man pacing the floor as he waited for his shitbox car to be done.
“Alright, Mia, let’s calm down. Daddy’s gotta help a customer, okay? You wanna help me? Wanna wave at them when they get inside?” Eddie was speaking to her calmly, doing his best to get her to calm down.
She didn’t.
And that’s, of course, how Steve Harrington walked back into his life.
He’d left over a year ago, barely said goodbye to anyone, just followed Robin to college like a lost puppy.
He hadn’t really blamed him for leaving, but it still hurt.
He thought they were friends.
Maybe not best friends, but close enough that he would have said bye.
“Steve?” Eddie felt like the walls were closing in, an unexplainable panic at the thought of having to talk to Steve professionally when all he wanted to do was yell at him hitting him.
“Eddie! Holy shit, I didn’t even think you’d still be in town,” Steve said, beaming at him like he hadn’t torn Eddie to pieces when he left.
And, well, he hadn’t exactly known he’d torn Eddie to pieces when he left, but still. Eddie felt a lot of resentment suddenly boiling over.
“Well, some of us didn’t have much of an option,” he said, nodding down to Mia.
He would never let Mia think any of his situation was her fault, but she was too young to understand what he was suggesting, and he maybe wanted to let Steve know that he was a bit hurt.
“Oh.” Then, it seemed to hit Steve what he was implying. “Oh! She’s yours?”
“Uh huh. So, you having car trouble?” Eddie didn’t need to prolong this, not with Mia still whimpering and crying in his ear.
“Oh, uh. Yeah. So I kinda haven’t had an oil change since I lived here and I think my car is trying to rebel,” he said sheepishly.
“It’s been a year since you’ve changed the oil in that thing?” Eddie almost couldn’t believe that Steve would let his car end up like that.
“Well, they’re expensive in the city and I haven’t had time to do it myself. And since I’m in town for a week, I thought I’d just get it take care of here. Is that…okay?” he seemed hesitant, like maybe he was actually realizing that Eddie was a bit pissed off.
“Yeah, that’s what we’re here for. Leave the keys and we’ll get it back soon,” Eddie nodded at the counter as he started to walk around the lobby, bouncing Mia in his arms to try to get her to fully calm down.
“What’s her name?” Steve asked from much closer than he expected.
“Mia.”
“She’s beautiful. Is her mom working too?”
“No clue what her mom’s doing. Haven’t seen her since she was born,” Eddie tried not to have an attitude, but the subject was not one he liked to discuss with anyone, let alone the man who unintentionally broke his heart.
“Oh.”
Eddie looked over to see Steve frowning, his brows furrowed, lost in thought.
“Yeah. Sorry for the crying. She wasn’t supposed to be here today and her nap schedule is fucked now,” Eddie closed his eyes. “Sorry, screwed up. She normally is the happiest baby in the world.”
Steve searched Eddie’s face, then looked at Mia with a smile.
“I could hold her if you want. I’m pretty good with babies usually.”
“You have a lot of experience with babies?” Eddie asked, disbelief clear in his tone.
“I babysit a lot between shifts in the city.”
“Shifts?”
“I’m a waiter, which isn’t the best, but it pays the bills and I get a free meal on the clock, so,” he shrugged. “Anyway, I can try at least? Might make it easier for you to work.”
Mia started crying louder again, like she had realized that she still wasn’t asleep for her nap.
“Mia, baby, c’mon. You can close your eyes and go to sleep, I got ya,” Eddie said softly, trying to get her to calm down enough to rest her head on his shoulder.
He was certain she would have some oil stains on her clothes after this, but he couldn’t really find a reason to care right now.
“Eds, let me hold her for a second. You’re getting stressed out. She can tell you’re stressed,” Steve said quietly enough so no one else in the lobby would hear.
“I got it,” Eddie insisted, while Mia seemed to get more upset.
He felt like crying, but he couldn’t.
“I’m sure you do, but it’s okay to have some help sometimes, ya know?” Steve said.
Which is ironic coming from Mr. I Don’t Need Help himself.
“Fine. Here,” Eddie finally gave in, passing Mia over to him.
She slowly stopped crying, looking at Steve with wide eyes.
“Hi princess. Aren’t you so sweet? What’s got you so upset, little one?” Steve asked her, slowly starting to do a bouncing/rocking motion with his legs that had her little head drooping onto his shoulder.
She let out a loud sigh, like the weight of the world was leaving her shoulders, and Eddie felt tears pricking his eyes.
“That’s it, Mia. You can sleep right here, okay?” Steve whispered.
Her eyes were still open, but Eddie could see the long, slow blinks that told him she’d be asleep soon.
“How?”
Steve smiled at him, but didn’t answer.
“I’m gonna go back in the shop, but come get me if she starts crying again?” Eddie was pretty desperate to finish up for the day, wanted to get home as soon as possible and make sure Mia could properly nap.
“Yeah, take your time. Can’t leave without my car anyway,” Steve winked.
Dammit.
Eddie ignored the stupid butterflies in his stomach, ignored the way his heart skipped a beat, and turned to go back into the shop.
He couldn’t let Steve have an effect on him, not now, not after the hurt he’d caused him.
———————————————————————
He told himself that his constant looking through the glass window to the lobby was just to make sure Mia was okay.
He told himself it had absolutely nothing to do with how hot Steve looked pacing around the lobby slowly as she slept on his shoulder.
He told himself that the way Mia was holding onto his shirt and drooling on him wasn’t adorable at all.
He told himself it didn’t hurt that Mia looked like she could be Steve’s just as much as she could be Eddie’s.
“Dude, the oil is spilling,” Jesse said from behind him.
Jesse was their newest hire, worked every Saturday and most afternoons while he got through his certification program at the community college.
“Shit,” Eddie turned back to Steve’s car, rushing to put a new can under it so the rest of the oil could drip into it.
“You good, man? You seem a little out of it today,” Jesse checked.
“Yeah, yeah. Just wasn’t ready for bringing Mia today is all. I’m fine,” he said with his attempt at a reassuring smile.
“I can finish this one up if you want. You can get Mia ready to go since this is the last car,” he offered.
“Nah, it’s that guy’s car anyway. He’s watching her,” Eddie said as he checked over a few other things under the hood.
Adam had turned the music off when he finished his last car, his station almost cleaned up.
The shop was as quiet as it ever gets, which is the only reason he heard the loud laugh coming from the lobby.
His favorite laugh.
He looked over to see Steve dancing around with Mia, bouncing her around, booping her nose, tickling her neck.
Steve was laughing while Mia smacked at his cheeks excitedly.
She was babbling something, but he couldn’t quite hear it through the door and window.
“Can Adam and I head out, then?” Jesse asked, wiping his hands on a towel he kept in his pocket.
“Yeah, man. Thanks for your hard work today,” Eddie said, giving him a pat on the shoulder.
Adam waved from his spot and gave him a wink as he looked over at Steve holding a giggling Mia.
He’d come out to Adam accidentally on his first day. He made a joke about how he probably should have celebrated his graduation with a man so there was no risk of pregnancy, and then froze.
He could have passed it off as just a joke, but Adam looked at him, tilted his head, and said, “yeah, me too.”
They’d been good friends ever since.
Eddie shook his head at him, didn’t want him to get any ideas about Steve being more than just a temporary babysitter.
Adam shrugged, like he wouldn’t push, but that he knew there was more to it.
They both left out the side door of the shop, and Eddie followed to lock it behind them.
He heard the lobby door open and looked over to see Steve walking in with Mia.
“Hey, you closing up?” Steve asked, smiling down at Mia still.
“Uh, yeah. She okay?” Eddie asked as he opened up the bottle of oil he needed to pour into Steve’s car.
“She’s great, aren’t you Mia? Just needed a power nap. Happy as can be now,” Steve tickled her side and then smiled at Eddie.
“Mama! Mama!” Mia was saying, slapping his cheek with her hands.
Eddie paled.
“Uh. Sorry. I didn’t even know she knew that word. I’ll take her,” he rushed to say, trying to wipe his hands off on his pant legs.
“Oh, it’s fine. Babies her age are just trying to put any word together with the sounds they know. She doesn’t actually think I’m her mama.”
“Right,” Eddie sighed. “I’m almost done.”
“Mama!” Mia said again, and Eddie had to turn away to hide his face.
A part of him was hurt, thinking how unfair it was that Mia didn’t have a mom. A bigger part of him was upset that she’d decided to do this with Steve of all people.
And a tiny part of him was jealous that she hadn’t quite put together any form of Dada yet.
“Is that your daddy over there? He works real hard, huh?” Steve was saying to her, and Eddie could feel his eyes on his back as he worked. “You’re gonna be a big helper someday aren’t you?”
“Ha!” Mia exclaimed.
“Yeah, helper!” Steve said.
Eddie hated that he was so good with her.
He hated that he was picturing a future with Steve and Mia, images moving rapidly through his head of Steve and Mia cooking dinner together while Eddie cleaned up after a long day at the shop, of Eddie and Steve having date night while Wayne watched Mia, of all three of them going to the park, dropping Mia off at her first day of school.
He blinked it all away.
Those thoughts were dangerous.
He finished up, closing the hood of Steve’s car and removing the drip pan from underneath. He lowered it to the ground and turned back to see Steve watching him with his bottom lip between his teeth.
“All set. Oil change, filter change, labor is usually $40, but since you were such a huge help with Mia, I can give you 50% off,” he said.
He would probably get questioned about it, but if he ended up having to get the rest taken out of his paycheck, so be it.
Steve, no matter how he felt about him, had done him a major favor today when he didn’t have to. He owed him something and this was the best he could do.
“Oh, I didn’t mind. She’s an angel. Plus, wouldn’t want you to get in trouble.”
“I won’t. It’s fine. I insist.”
Steve shook his head.
“Nah, I’ll pay full price.” He poked Mia’s cheek and smiled at her. “But I wouldn’t turn down dinner?”
Eddie’s eyes widened.
“Dinner? No offense, but I don’t think dinner is really in my budget, man.”
Steve huffed a small laugh.
“No, no. I meant, like I could treat you to dinner. Tonight or tomorrow?”
“How is treating me to dinner payment for you watching my daughter?” Eddie asked confused.
“Just is. Please?” Steve asked.
“Um. I can see if Wayne can watch her tomorrow night?”
The confusion only grew when Steve excitedly jumped up and down, waving Mia’s hand in the air in excitement.
She was giggling and saying “mama” constantly, which was no longer embarrassing, but definitely not ideal.
“That’d be amazing, Eds. I’m staying with the Hendersons if you wanna just call and let me know what time works for you,” Steve said.
Dustin hadn’t mentioned.
Steve was staying with the Hendersons and Dustin hadn’t even mentioned this to Eddie.
Dustin was the only person who knew about his pining for Steve besides Wayne, and he hadn’t even fucking mentioned.
“Oh, Dustin, uh, didn’t say you were staying with him. Or visiting at all for that matter,” Eddie said as he handed Steve his keys.
“Really? He told me you were excited to catch up,” Steve’s brows furrowed.
“Did he?”
Steve handed Mia over to Eddie, looking a bit lost all of a sudden with his hands empty.
“Yeah.” Steve reached into his back pocket for his wallet and took out $40. “Do I need to sign anything?”
Eddie took the $40 and put it in his pocket for now, and watched as Steve transformed from a happy, confident person to a shy, unsure version of himself.
“Nope, all good.” Eddie stepped closer to Steve for a moment, sucked up his pride, and waved Mia’s hand at him. “Say bye to Steve, sweetheart.”
“Ba!” Steve smiled at her. “Mama!”
“Bye, sweet girl. Maybe we can hang out before I go?” Steve turned to look at Eddie, silently begging to see Mia again.
“If you want to, sure. I mean, you could also just come over for dinner tonight if you want. I was gonna make spaghetti. Wayne’s at work. I’m sure Mia would love to have someone to play with while I cook,” Eddie knew he’d regret it, but Mia would be happy to have someone keeping her company on her play mat while he worked on the sauce.
“I don’t wanna interrupt your night or anything-“
“You aren’t. I’m not the best chef in the world, but it’s edible. And I’m sure if you’re living with Robin, you’re not eating homemade meals very often,” Eddie lightly teased.
“And what makes you say that?” Steve’s hands went on his hips.
Eddie’s breath left his body.
He’d missed Steve.
He’d missed his bitchiness, his care, his smile, the way he always watched over them all, even when they didn’t deserve it.
“Just figured you two would have been on the news for accidentally burning an apartment building down by now,” Eddie shrugged, trying to appear more nonchalant, but knowing he was failing miserably.
“I’ll have you know I’m a great cook,” Steve said. “I have to be or else we would end up on the news because Robin burnt our apartment building down.”
Steve smirked at him and Eddie was a goner.
He cleared his throat and patted Mia on her back when she startled in his arms.
“So, how’s six sound? I usually have Mia in bed by 7:30 so we have a pretty strict evening schedule,” he said, hoping his voice sounded even and controlled unlike his thoughts that were far from it.
“Six is great! I just have to run by the Sinclair house to bring Erica her gift first.”
“You got Erica a gift?”
“No, Erica picked out the gift, told me not to show my face in town unless I brought it, and then gave me the exact time to bring it,” Steve admitted.
“Sounds like Erica,” Eddie laughed. “What did the queen insist on you buying her?”
“Some D&D book? I dunno, I live near a shop that has a bunch of tabletop game stuff and she said they would have it so I wrote down the title and went there and they did. I may never recover, emotionally or financially.”
Eddie laughed again, but this time, Steve smiled, a light pink dusting across his cheeks like he was proud of himself for making Eddie laugh.
“Well, those can get pretty expensive. I’m sure she’ll be happy to have it though. Anything that helps her kick all our asses is always good with her,” Eddie said.
“That’s what I figured. So six? You still at the same place?” Steve asked.
“Yeah. Key is under the plant by the steps so come on in.”
“Oh. Okay,” Steve nodded, looking down at his feet. “Do you want me to bring anything?”
“Nah, just yourself and your patience for Mia’s antics.”
“She’s your daughter so I expect shenanigan after shenanigan.”
“Hey!”
Steve threw his hands up and walked over to his car.
“Just saying!”
“Do you hear this, Mia? And you call this guy mama,” Eddie said, tone serious.
He was too busy looking at Mia to see the way Steve blushed as he got into his car.
“See you at six!” Steve said before closing his door, starting his car, and backing out of the shop.
Eddie closed the shop door behind him, then gathered up Mia’s things into the diaper bag made just for the shop.
“You ready to go home, superstar?”
Mia snuggled against his shoulder, probably still sleepy from not having her full afternoon nap.
“I’ll take that as a yes.”
He set the $40 on the counter with a quick note saying what it was for, in too much of a rush to do a full receipt for it.
He hit the lights, and locked the front door before making his way to his van.
Mia was asleep on him, her slow breathing and occasional snore making him smile.
“Oh, we’re in big trouble now, aren’t we Mia?” he whispered before he set her in her car seat.
He knew he could just go into this knowing he couldn’t get attached.
But he knew he already was.
He always had been.
Probably always would be.

33. “I’m not going to stop poking you until you give me some attention.”
From THIS ask game!! Thank you for sending me oooonnnne 💕💕💕
[ NOW ON AO3 ]
Steve squints down at the book in his lap, trying to absorb the sentence he's been trying to read for the last five minutes. The words, obviously, made sense individually and theoretically they made sense all together, but they were not sinking in.
Poke.
Taking a deep breath, Steve shakes the light tap on his shoulder off and refocuses his efforts on reading this dumb nerd book so the kids would get off his back finally. He was making progress, slowly, but he was doing it! Just... normal English was hard enough without throwing in a bunch of fake languages on top.
Poke.
Swatting his hand out, Steve shoos the pest away, refusing to give whoever it was the satisfaction of a bigger reaction.
Poke.
Steve hisses at the sharp jab into his ribs and says a short, "Knock it off."
"I'm not going to stop poking you until you give me some attention." Poke.
Finally Steve lifts his head and smacks Eddie lightly with the book and glaring. It was a lot of work to keep the smile off his face as Eddie dramatically recoiled from the book.
"There, happy? I paid attention to you," Steve huffs as he settles back in to try and read again. Belatedly, he realizes he hadn't marked his page before closing the book and smacking Eddie and sighs.
"Hey, wait, are you reading The Hobbit?" Eddie asks excitedly, and Steve raises an eyebrow at him.
"I was trying but someone kept poking me," he says with a roll of his eyes.
"Well, that was before I knew you were reading my favourite book! Proceed, Sir Harrington, I shall search for entertainment elsewhere," Eddie says as he jumps up off the couch with a dramatic flourish and a deep bow.
"Nah, it's fine. I'm giving up for right now," Steve says, tossing the book onto the coffee table. "The words haven't been sticking for a while and I lost my spot. What'd you wanna do?"
Eddie stares down at Steve with that thoughtful look of his, crossing his arms over his chest. Then he asks, "You like it so far?"
Steve blinks a bit and then shrugs. "Yeah, so far, what I've been able to absorb at least?" he answers, a bit suspicious about where this was going.
Then Eddie's fully-dimpled grin split his face and Steve's stomach flipped at the sight. "Then I shall read it to you!" he says as he sits back down and grabs the book. "No need to thank me, Stevie. It's my absolute pleasure."
"You don't have to do this, Eds," Steve insists, feeling his ears heat up as Eddie swings his legs up and across Steve's lap to keep him sitting on the couch.
"You're right, I don't have to," Eddie replies from behind the book as he pages through it, leaning back against the armrest of the couch. Then he lowers the book enough so that his eyes could peek over it at Steve. "I want to."
"I don't need you to read to me though," Steve pushes, even as he shifts his body a bit to lean against his armrest a bit more comfortably.
"Then fine, I'm not reading it to you. I'm simply reading my favourite book because you're done, and I'm reading it aloud, and you just happen to be sitting here with me," Eddie says, lifting the book higher and disappearing behind it completely. "Now what do you remember reading about last?"
Steve grins at Eddie while he's not looking. Resting a hand on one of Eddie's legs gently, Steve says, "I remember them getting to the bear-dude's house."
"Ah, excellent! Some of the best parts are coming up!" Eddie says excitedly, quickly turning the pages until he reaches the part in question.
And Steve settles in for a quiet afternoon of listening to Eddie read to him, and he's only a little annoyed when, while seeing Eddie out, the metalhead smugly points out that his tactic worked. Steve did pay attention to him.
This was a fun exercise in writing a moment in time without giving too much context. I both loved and hated doing it. THANK YOU. Send me more of these?

Eddie Munson x Reader
This story belongs to the Moonstruck universe
Summary: Eddie will never have enough of your kisses, luckily for him, you're just as addicted.
A/N: Challenge for ya, tell me who's more in love with who here. A sweet anon requested this. <3
Masterlist
"What do you want for dinner?" Eddie asked, his raspy voice resonating through his trailer while he sat on the kitchen counter, eyes trained on the little notebook in his hands and tongue poking out of his mouth as he wrote.
"Uh, I don't know Eds," you walked out of the bathroom, towel in your hands as you finished drying your hair. As it has recently become tradition, you were spending the weekend at Eddie's home, "we can order something if you'd like."
"Pizza?" He glanced up, pointing his pen at you. His brown curls were pulled up in a loose bun — made by you, after Eddie was almost tearing up in frustration because it was too hot and he couldn't get his hair up himself — and he wore his red flannel over faded black sweatpants.
Eddie smiled something shy, dark gentle eyes crinkling on the sides when you didn't answer, and just gazed at him with what you could only assume was adoration, given his red cheeks.
You chuckled, shaking your head and avoiding his eyes; "pizza sounds perfect."
"Come here, princess." Eddie threw aside his notes with the grocery list, extending both hands to you.
Letting go of your towel, you walked up to him, standing between his knees with your arms locked around his shoulders.
With a gentleness he kept only for you, Eddie pushed damp hair strands behind your ears, "beautiful," he breathed, hooded eyes roaming over every inch of your face.
You leaned in, bumping your nose with his before pulling back in a tease that had him groaning, "look who's talking."
Eddie snorted, making the dimples appear on his cheeks, the shape of his smile shining under the cheap yellow lights of the trailer.
"You're making going to the market without you really hard, you know that?" Eddie pouted exaggeratedly, raising an eyebrow at you, "'m gonna miss you."
Bringing your hands up, you squished his cheeks, making his lips all the more plumper. "You remind me of a puppy with separation anxiety sometimes." The frown on his brows made you giggle, "I'm tired today, baby, and you'll be back in no time. I'll be here waiting, always."
There was some kind of soulmate shit with you, there had to be, with the way Eddie felt drawn to you. He encircled his arms around your waist, your heart was beating against his and it still didn't feel close enough. He leaned in slowly, his top lip grazing yours first, not knowing where your breathing started or his ended. The gentle pull of your hands on the hair at the nape of his neck finally had him kissing you, all shy and pretty still. You caught his lower lip between yours and suddenly Eddie was in space; surrounded by a galaxy of stars as he tasted you, sweet as honey.
Breathing felt like a punishment when it forced Eddie to stop kissing you. He took barely a puff of air through his lips, before cupping your cheek with one hand and leaving several pecks at the corner of your lips and to your cheeks, until you were both smiling too hard.
"Oh," you pulled back to look at Eddie, "see if you can find a litter box for Ozzy, we'll need one for the van, maybe a tiny leash too." You pointed out, straightening the lapel of his flannel.
"A- a what? For the van, princess?" Eddie stammered, his lips parted in a confused frown as he tilted his head.
"A litter box for Ozzy, for when we go traveling," you said, as if it was the most obvious thing.
Eddie's hands landed on your waist, his thumbs sneaking under your shirt and grazing the skin of your belly. "You… wanna take the cat, on our trip?" He asked slowly, raising his eyebrows.
As if on cue, the black ball of fur jumped up on the counter, rubbing himself on Eddie's back and purring loudly like he wanted in on the conversation.
You ran a hand over the cat's back, stroking the soft fur; "of course I do, we're not gonna leave him alone, your uncle is barely home." Some unruly curls had broken free from Eddie's bun, you twirled one of them on your fingers with your free hand.
He chuckled, sounding warm and pretty, guitar-scarred fingertips tracing the bare curve of your spine; "alright, where do you wanna go?"
"Well, first of all, I really wanna see the Washington zoo, then a few parks, museums," you listed, biting the inside of your cheek in thought, "oh there's the arts one in Indianapolis," you snapped your fingers, excited smile on your lips.
Eddie was only looking at you, chocolate brown eyes almost completely black with his blown pupils. He was smiling all soft and dreamy.
You dropped your hands to his thighs and squeezed, "and what do you wanna see, pretty boy?"
Eddie hummed, "for me, it's whatever," he ran his tongue over his bottom lip, leaning in again, "you know, as long as I'm with you and all."
It had you giggling, heat coming up your neck and to your cheeks, "charmer, charmer," your lips brushed his as you spoke and he stole another kiss.
You pulled away before he got too into it, leaving a pouty Eddie chasing for you. "Go before the market closes, I'll order the pizza," you booped his nose.
Eddie hopped down from the counter, taking hold of your hand before you turned away, "one more for good luck?"
"You're impossible," you chuckled, hands closing around his flannel and pulling his lips to yours.

LIGHT AND HIGH BEAUTY (Eddie Munson x F!Reader)
summary: a calm afternoon spent listening to eddie read aloud at his place.
masterlist / requests open
Eddie coughs gently. His throat is starting to feel dry but when he looks down at you, you look so enamoured by the story that he doesn’t want to stop reading. You peer up at him, resting your temple on his shoulder, his back pressed against the wall beside his bed. The afternoon sunlight streams past his thin beige curtains, casting shadows on the far wall and drenching his room in faint gold.
“The land seemed full of creaking and cracking and sly noises, but there was no sound of voice or of foot,” Eddie reads, eyebrows furrowing slightly as his eyes struggle to focus. He holds the book in one hand, his other absentmindedly running up and down your arm while one of your hands plays with his necklace. “Far above the Ephel Du ́ath in the West the night-sky was still dim and pale…” Eddie lets out a small hum, pressing the corner of the page down.
You let out a whine, “No, keep reading.”
“Too tired,” he mumbles, handing the book in your direction, “you take over.”
You nudge the book back in his direction, “I like hearing your voice.”
He lets out a small chuckle, dimples poking out as he grins, “You won’t like it when I can barely hold a note tomorrow night.”
You stare at him blankly, “Tomor- what’s tomorrow night?”
“Corroded Coffin,” he raises his eyebrows at you, smiling gently, “gig got switched, remember?”
You slap your forehead, shutting your eyes in embarrassment, “Oh, right!”
“You know Corroded Coffin, right?” He smirks teasingly, “the band I’m part of?”
“No, I know!” You press your face against his arm in embarrassment, frowning loudly and pulling away when he laughs, “Sorry. You know I have a shit memory.”
“It’s okay, sweetheart, I'm teasing. You've been real busy studying like the smart girl you are," he says sweetly, almost with pride.
"Still. 'M sorry." You frown, pressing a kiss to his shoulder, "I don't want you to think it isn't important to me. 'Cause, it is."
Eddie feels his cheeks redden and he looks down at the jumbling words to calm his beating heart. "I know," he whispers through a bashful grin, "surprised you still wanna see us play."
You chuckle gently, shrugging, "Of course, I do, baby. Why wouldn't I?"
"I don't know," he looks over at you, smiling fondly, "one of my exes used to hate going - stopped coming after gig number two."
He laughs like it's funny and you press a smile to your lips, seeing his silent discomfort and hurt. "Well," you sit up slightly, resting more of your body upon his chest, "I love seeing you play - really. Almost as much as I love hearing you read for me."
Eddie barks out a laugh, throwing his head back as he rolls his eyes. The book is now laying flat against his chest, pages spread out neatly. Eddie lifts the book up, about to set it on his bedside table but you reach and clasp his wrist. “Sweetheart,” he raises his eyebrows.
“One more paragraph,” you test against his warning tone, “please? Then that’s all.”
“Let’s say… one more word,” he counters, eyes narrowing as he negotiates.
“A sentence,” you bargain, raising an eyebrow. His demeanour falters and you grin cheekily at him. “C’mon, get to it then," you smile.
“Jesus, you’re stubborn,” Eddie rolls his eyes, grinning as he picks the book up once more, “so annoying.”
“So annoying,” you mock him, letting out a scoff as you push a strand of hair away from his cheek, “ugh, just the worst.”
He looks at you plainly, trying to hide his smile, “You are the worst.”
“Yeah, you have bad taste, baby,” you admit to him, pressing your lips against his cheek for a moment. You pull back slowly, gazing down at his pink lips, “Keep reading.”
He lets out a low hum, his own stare planted onto your lips. He then turns towards the novel, upright in his hands. “There,” Eddie glances at you for a moment and you’re already smiling, staring at the far wall as you listen, “peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while.”
He pauses, glancing at you. You turn your eyes to him, expectantly, “And then?”
He wants to retort about how that was one sentence, as promised. But you look so enthralled and peaceful - a change from your usual hard-working, stressed-out, self. Eddie’s already looking down at you with a toothy grin before he laughs and continues to read - more than a sentence or a word, but he doesn’t mind.
“The beauty of it smote his heart!” Eddie reads dramatically, shaking the book gently and you laugh, “As he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."
"Wow," you whisper.
He closes the book, "Happy?”
“Happy,” you nod.
“Good,” he closes the book, setting it down on his bedside table and inching himself further down the bed, “now, give me a kiss.” He holds his arms out for you to lay in his arms.
“It’s still light outside,” you laugh at his tired expression, “we’ve got like two hours of the day left, Eddie.”
“Just wanna hold you,” he admits quietly, arms already open, "wanna kiss you, come on." You move closer to him when he wraps his hold around you, his lips planting a kiss on your forehead. He lets it linger for a moment and you shut your eyes.
“Light and high beauty,” you quote the last passage, smiling gently when he pulls his lips away.
“For ever beyond its reach,” he finishes the sentence, hand nestling through your hair gently.
“How many times have you read this book?” You wonder wholeheartedly.
Eddie shrugs plainly, “Maybe, like, twice before. So, this would be the third.”
“Shit,” you laugh sweetly, gazing up at him, “you’re... uh, you're a nerd.”
He laughs, pulling back to look down at you, “Remind me again how many times you’ve seen Star Wars?”
“Depends which Star Wars you’re talking about,” you shrug coyly, smirking up at him.
“Yeah, you’re the type of person to marathon all of them,” he tells you pointedly, “so I doubt you’ve seen one more than the others.”
“God, you know me,” you narrow your eyes up at him, looking down at his pink lips.
“Yeah, ‘cause you’re like me,” Eddie smiles, leaning forward to kiss you quickly, “can’t read one Lord of The Rings book without reading all the others too. And The Hobbit.”
“You gonna read them to me three more times?” You tease, laughing when he lets out a loud groan, tugging you closer.
“If you smile like that every time, yeah,” he mumbles into your neck, his lips tickling your skin, “but I don’t know how you don’t get tired of the sound of my voice.”
“Me neither, to be honest,” you respond.
"Yeah? Okay," Eddie pulls back, eyes narrow and cast upon yours, “have fun reading on your own.”
You bark out a laugh, reaching for his face, “I’m kidding, you know I’m kidding.”
“Do I?” He raises his eyebrows, arms crossing over his chest, “Do I know that? Prove it.”
You tilt your head at him, face expressionless before your eyes fall to his lips. Eddie smiles as you lean towards him, hands cupping his cheeks as you share a fond kiss with one another. You tug on his bottom lip gently and he lets out a little laugh, hands coming to your waist.

Opposites attract pt3: Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson
Note: Double feature today because of what happened today, enjoy! And then probably some angst to ruin it all
Warning: Steddie being idiots in love who can't get their shit together, awkwardness
Enjoy!
_____________________________
Steve hadn't slept that night, well he had, but it wasn't a good amount of sleep. He was busy, too busy looking up some information on Eddie's band, so the next time he walked into Line of fire he was at least prepared. And it was stupid, how attached he felt to getting to know Eddie. To even seem somewhat worthy of his time, his affection.
He was a wreck, a complete and emotional wreck, who acted like a little girl around his crush, he hated it. But nothing could be done to fix it, like I said, he's a goner; in love with an eccentric, sarcastic metalhead who can't properly convey his emotions. Oh the tragedy
The next few days had gone and went, slower than usual, the clock seemed to tick in reverse even. That was until, until Eddie was back on set, to do more pictures to get more covers done. It was a good day; a great day even.
Eddie was excited for today, mainly because he could look however he wanted, and two, because he got to see Steve again, of course they have each other's numbers, and they can talk. But, it's not the same as in person, seeing his expressions, the embarrassed smile Steve does, his dimples poking out occasionally, how his eyes twinkled when he talked about certain people, the group of kids he used to be friends with, who were now definitely in college or past that. But what he loved most was his laugh, the laugh that sounded like a bell, ringing into the air. The was either softer or louder depending on the situation, it was beautiful, Steve was beautiful and he was perfect.
The photo shoot had continued as usual, and small talk ensued. Nothing much, just conversation about Eddie's band, to which Steve could now name a few songs (so proud of the Himbo💞!!). Which wasn't a big deal, but it was a small detail, which set a grin on Eddie's face.
Once the shoot was over, everyone was going home, until, Eddie had opted to invite Steve over to his place, to talk, hang out, watch a movie. "Hey Harrington- uh- you wanna come over later and watch a Tim Curry movie?" Eddie blurted, his mouth moving faster than his mind, it was a stupid question, but to his surprise (he's just a very surprised Dude) , Steve said: "Yeah sure. I'd have to go home and wash all the hairspray out, but could you text me the address and all?" Eddie nodded slowly, grinning. "yeah, yeah it's a date. Well not like- a 'DATE' date, but like it's set and all- " he rambled on, before seeing Steve chuckle and turn on his heel, waving at Eddie and grabbing his things."Yeah, it's a date."

Got this ask about my fic “All that glitters”: regarding your latest fic about richie winning an emmy: he's okay with eddie modeling for bev until the pictures feature in a magazine and bill buys a copy to support his friend eddie :)
And I’ve been cackling about it for the last day because I can just imagine this happening, and Richie going absolutely bananas.
Just picture this: it’s been a couple of months since the Emmys, and Bill has invited Richie and Eddie over for dinner. And Richie reluctantly agrees: he’s been in good spirits since winning his award and the Netflix series has started shooting. And they actually have a nice evening; there’s wine and lots of chat and Audra makes a banging gnocchi, and since Eddie has started enjoying food a lot more since being with Richie, he gets to watch Eddie happily munch his way through dinner and clear his plate. “I’m so proud of you, baby,” Richie whispers to him when Audra and Bill step into the kitchen, hand on the back of his neck and rubbing a thumb along his jawline as Eddie flushes.
Like a true gentleman, Richie offers to help Audra clear up in the kitchen, leaving Eddie and Bill to catch up in the dining room. Afterwards, Audra asks if they’re in the mood for dessert which is an obvious yes, as Richie knows what a slut Eddie is for sweet things these days, but when he pokes his head into the dining room to let him know, Eddie and Bill have disappeared. Richie tenses; Eddie should know better than to go somewhere without telling him first. He starts searching for them, checking every room in the house until he hears soft laughter coming from the room at the end of the hallway: Bill’s study. He pushes the door open and sees Bill and Eddie standing by Bill’s desk looking at a piece of paper. They’re laughing and Eddie’s got his dimples out, god fucking dammit.
He’s about to loudly interrupt their cosy little chit chat, when something glossy catches his eye. And that’s when he sees it: the most recent issue of Vogue, the one that has Eddie’s photoshoot in it, and it’s in Bill’s fucking study.
“What the fuck?”
The two men turn and see him looming in the doorway.
“Hey Richie, I was just showing Eddie a scene from my new book,” Bill says.
“Uh huh, whatever. The hell is this?” Richie asks, grabbing the magazine off the coffee table. Eddie looks at it and his eyes go dinner-plate wide.
“Oh, it’s the issue of Vogue with Eddie’s photoshoot.”
“I know what it is, Bill, I bought 200 fucking copies of it. Why do you have it?”
“Richie,” Eddie hisses, glaring at him behind Bill’s back.
Bill just laughs. “You bought 200 copies?”
“Yeah, and I’m getting the picture of Eddie in the cream silk shirt blown up and framed above the fireplace in our living room.”
“No, you’re NOT, Richie.” And Eddie’s making that angry kitten expression of his, which usually Richie can’t resist, especially when he gets to fuck it off his face, but he can think about doing that again later when they’re at home.
“Well I only bought the one,” Bill chuckles, “but Bev told me about the shoot and I wanted to show my support for Eddie.”
“Oh Bill, you didn’t have to,” Eddie says, still standing way too close to Bill for Richie’s liking. “I haven’t even looked at it. Don’t know how Bev convinced me to do it. It was so embarrassing, having people take pictures of me like that.”
Bill smiles at him softly. “You look lovely in them.”
That damn dimple pops again. “Thanks Bill. Though there was this really warm olive-green peacoat that Bev let me keep, which was nice.”
“Oh, the one on page 26? That was stunning.”
“Excuse me, but what the fuck is happening?” Richie interrupts, voice harsh with anger. “He looked lovely? It was stunning?”
“Don’t mind him, Bill, he’s just forgotten to take his anti-asshole medication.”
“I mean I do it with all the Losers,” Bill replies earnestly as Richie rolls his eyes. “That’s why I went to Stan’s photography show in Atlanta last month, why I’ve got text notifications for Mike’s travel blog-”
“You follow Mike’s travel blog?” Eddie asks as Richie glowers from the doorway. “That’s very sweet of you, Bill.”
“Oh and let’s completely forget the recovering cocaine addict who just made a huge career comeback and won an Emmy,” Richie growls. “Wanna keep up with my recovery, Bill? Want me to pee in a coffee mug for you to test it?”
Bill raises his eyebrows. “I don’t get what the problem is, Richie,” he says, while Eddie makes an unimpressed seriously? face at him.
“The problem, Bill, is that you’ve been perving on my husband-”
“We’re not married yet, Richie! And I think I might change my mind at this rate.”
“No chance, baby,” he says to Eddie before turning back to Bill. “Those pictures are mine to jerk off to, no one else’s,” he says as Eddie buries his face in his hands and groans. “You don’t get to see what Eddie looks like in a peacoat or know what fucking page it’s on. Actually, I’d be happier if you just never looked at Eddie again.” He smiles, all teeth. “That sound good to you, bro?”
“Are you feeling okay, buddy? Do you need to go lie down in the other room?”
Richie’s seriously considering punching Bill in the face when Audra appears in the hallway behind him.
“I was going to say dessert is ready,” she says, her tone chillingly polite, “but if you keep talking to Bill like that, I’ll have to ask you to leave.”
“You should keep an eye on your husband,” Richie says, waving the magazine at her. “Do you know what he’s been doing when he’s cooped up in here?”
“Oh my god, Richie, let’s go,” Eddie says, mortified. “I’m really sorry, Audra, my fiancé has gone feral, loved the gnocchi though, please send me the recipe,” he babbles as they leave, a tub of leftover gnocchi in his hands and only halfway into his coat before Richie’s dragging him away. “Can’t take you fucking anywhere,” he huffs as Richie bundles him into the car.

Sequel-CHAPTER 21
CHRIS
On the way back to the hotel she was very quite she just rest her body against mine the whole time her cousin and her uncle talked full in Spanish very fast that I couldn’t catch it at all but whatever they was saying made her grunt a few times and hold on to me tighter. Once at the hotel she went right in and I went to the kitchen to get me something to drink. Then I went and looked for her I walked to the room door and it was closed when I tried to go in it was locked and I knocked a few times but she didn’t say anything. So I sat down by the door and I listened and I could hear her crying, I sat there for a few minutes then I knocked again, that’s when I heard the door unlock and I got up and opened the door and I saw her by the dress she was taking off all her clothes I just stood there watching her, I had no reason to look away cause she’s my wife I can watch her I wanted to keep my mind on her crying but my dick was getting hard as hell. She then turned and walked to me and got up on her tippy toes, and leaned up to kiss me. A very sexy light kiss, she then sank to her knees pulling my shorts down to expose my hard dick. She took my dick in her mouth giving it a good hard suck and she deep throat me a few times.
She stood back up stroking my dick with one hand I reached down to feel that smooth mound, and felt her wet pussy that I love. She moaned as I slid a finger in past her pussy lips and into her tight hole. She kissed me wildly putting her arms around the back of my neck and grinding into my fingering.
“Please fuck me, I just wanna fuck you so bad” she moaned in between kissing me as she pushed down on my probing fingers. “I’m so wet and ready for your big dick.” she groaned. “I want you inside me!”
"I guess I better do what my little wife says then, and give you a good deep fucking.“ I said.
She then jumped up wrapping her legs around me. "I want you to fuck me hard Daddy!!” she said as she slipped her tongue into my ear. I stepped out of my shorts, and carried her over to the bed. Laying her down, and then I pulled off my shirt. She was rubbing her pussy hard, looking up at me biting her lower lip. I think she was so turned on that she was cumming already. As I leaned over she reached out for my hard dick, pulling it towards that wet pussy. She rubbed the dick head on her pussy, then guided it into.
I looked down into those sexy brown eyes, they looked to be pleading for me to fuck her hard I knew what was going on here, she wanted what had happen off her mind and I’m glad to help. She kissed me, her tongue going wild in my mouth. As her hips pushed her up against me. You could here the squishing wet sounds coming from our fucking so loudly. I was pumping her hot pussy fast, hard I wouldn’t last long at all.
“I’m cumming, cumming all over your big dick!” she said looking up at me. I felt a rush of heat wash over my dick she was pushing my dick out squirting all on me, and now even I couldn’t believe I was able to stay inside her.
“Bae give me another baby” I moaned and kissed under her chin to her ear, licking it.
“That’s what you want huh another baby?” she moaned kissing my neck.
“Yes, yes” I moaned
“Okay, give it to me rabbit, give it to me” she moaned that was all I could take, and I gave a few hard final deep thrusts then I came. I looked down at her, and her eyes got wide as I pumped a huge load of my seed inside her pussy.
"That’s it Daddy, fill my pussy with your cum. Give me that baby!“ she moaned softly into my ear. She was grinding into me to get out every drop I swear, her pussy held onto my dick so tight I couldn’t move if I wanted to. Then she leaned up to me and kissed me deeply and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders holding her closer to me. Shes kissed my cheek wrapped her arms around me and we held each other like this for a while and we ended up falling asleep just like this, she didn’t want me to move everytime I tried to move she held me tighter.
Later that night when we finally woke up she didn’t say anything but she was in the living room on her laptop typing away I was on the couch watching the came and on twitter tweeting random weird shit like I normally do. I looked back at Erin she had one leg over the chair and I moved more to see what she was doing and I knew it, she was fingering herself, I got up and walked behind her to see what she was looking at.
“I knew your ass was watching porn” I said and she throw her head back and looked up at me and smiled.
“I was wondering how long it was going to take you to come here and find out” she said and poked out her lips for me to kiss and I leaned down to her and kissed her pushing my tongue in her mouth touching her face. We broke the kiss and I looked at the screen and that when I felt her, she had pulled my boxers down and was slowing stroking my hard dick I looked down at her and she smiled up at me and then licked and kissed the tip and then started to suck on, slow at first then a little faster, I couldn’t help but to moan. Without saying a word I picked her up by her shoulders to get her to her feet. I spun her around bent my knees to get a better angle, and as she leaned back against me ground my hard dick in her ass crack. I reached around pulling on those hard nipples, and I nibbled on her neck. Erin was grinding her hot little ass into my hard dick back into me just as hard as I am rubbing it in her ass cheeks. Erin gasped and couldn’t get out any words as I bent down more sliding half my hard dick into her pussy.
“Shit bae fuck” I moaned and somehow I was able to close the laptop and I started ramming my dick in her hard as fuck she was screaming loud driving me crazy. I got lost in how good she felt I grabbed a hand ful of her hair and was giving it to her hard and fast.
“CHRIISSS, CHRIISSSS I LOVE IT FUCK ME HARD BABY HARDER” she screamed out I picked her up so her back was against my chest and my left hand was around her neck squeezing as my right hand and arm was around her waist holding her up while I was fucking her hard as hell.
“SHIIIITT DAMNN FUUCCKK TAKE THAT DICK” I moaned squeezing her neck a little tighter fucking her harder than ever, I felt her grab my hand with both of hers.
“CHRIS CHRIS TOO TIGHT STOP, STOP I CAN’T BREATHE, I CAN’T FUCKING BREATHE, CHRIS STOOOP” she scream it took me a second then I felt her nails dig into me and I let her neck go and my hand was moved to her mouth then I screamed
“ERIN WHAT THE FUCK” I screamed letting her go cause she bit my hand hard as shit she grabbed the table gasping for breath. She moved from in front of me and looked at me holding her neck. “DID, Did you just bite me?”
“You was choking me Chris I couldn’t breathe I screamed for you to stop but you wouldn’t” she said I walked to her and pulled her to me and kissed her forehead.
“I’m sorry I got caught up with it” I said rubbing her back.
“Okay sorry for biting you but you wouldn’t listen” she said and giggled. Later that night we took a shower and left to go have dinner once we got to the restaurant we was seated in a private area where we could still see the stage.
ERIN
After we was in our area I was happy to be here it was one of the best Spanish restaurants in all of Dominican Republic, and I always wanted to come here, it was a place me and my Dad was supposed to had come when I graduated from high school but I was more than glad I was here with Chris. The owner came to us greeting us and really happy to see us there.
“Hola Mr. & Mrs. Brown, (with him walking to us the people there notice who we was and the place went crazy fans there was waving and of course we waved back as BigPat, Big Chris, Robbie and Eddie was seated to the table next to us.) voy a tener una botella del mejor champán traído en la casa y si usted necesita cualquier cosa que yo soy el dueño y el director Robert ( a lady walks over) Michelle que le dará todo lo que necesite tan feliz que usted está aquí” Robert said {Hola Mr. & Mrs. Brown, voy a tener una botella del mejor champán traído en la casa y si usted necesita cualquier cosa que yo soy el dueño y el director Robert Michelle que le dará todo lo que necesite tan feliz que usted está aquí } and kissed my hand then shook Chris’s and they both walk away. I scooted my chair closer to Chris who smiled and put his right arm around me and enter lace his left hand fingers with my right hand as my left hand rest on his right leg. The music started playing real soft and sexy I rested my head on his shoulder and he kissed my forehead.
“I love this type of music” I said
“Yea me too, bae is there any chance that we could have another baby?” he asked and I looked up at him and kissed his nose.
“You don’t think we have enough we got 6 kids we ain’t the Jackson’s or the Wayne’s” I said and he smile showing his dimples, I knew this wasn’t going to be the last time he brought more kids up. After about an hour there the lady Michelle walked to us.
“Hola Odio preguntar esto, pero de todos modos hay que puede realizar con la banda?” Michelle asks looking at me. { Hi I hate to ask you this but is there anyway you can perform with the band?}
“Yo, no podía Chris” I say{ Me, no Chris could}
“Erin you can do it they don’t want me” he says and I smile.
“No está a celeb más grande que yo” I say{ No he’s a bigger celeb than me }
“Bueno umm su parte dominicana y significaría mucho para nosotros si usted podría cantar para nosotros aquí algo en español” Michelle asked smiling, I look at Chris and he smiles.{Well umm your part Dominican and it would mean a lot to us if you could sing for us here something in Spanish}
“Do bae just don’t sing to fast so I can keep up” he says then I start to stand up and he helps me with my chair and stands up with me and kisses me I smile as I walk on to the stage and goes to the band.
“We can play whatever you like” the drummer says
“Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” I say
“Yea we know that” the piano player says and starts to play.

Y empieza a palpitar asi
Cada vez
Cada vez que lo veo pasar
Mi corazn se enloquece
Y me empieza a palpitar” I sing and they clap and cheer and I turn to the band and bow thanking them then back to the crowd I bow real cute.
“One more song please” the crowd asks
“One of my favorite song my Granny used to sing this to me Como La Flor.” I say
“You start and we’ll pick it up” the piano guy says and smiles and I turn around to the mic.
“Yo se que tienes un nuevo amor
Sin embargo, te deseo lo mejor
Si en mi no encontraste felicidad
Tal vez alguien mas te la dara. Como la flor (como la flor), con tanto amor (con tanto amor)
Me diste tu, se marchito
Me marcho hoy, yo se perder
Pero, Aaaayyy! Como me duele
Aaaayyy!
Aaaayyy! (they started singing with me) Como me duele, Como la flor (como la flor), con tanto amor (con tanto amor)
Me diste tu, se marchito
Me marcho hoy, yo se perder
Pero, Aaaayyy! Como me duele
Aaaayyy! Como me duele” I sing and do a cute bow as the crowd stands and claps for me I turn and walk off the stage right to Chris who’s smiling hard.
“Beautiful bae” he says and kisses me
“Thank you, not as good as you but I’ll get there” I say and I walked back to Chris and he hugs me. We ordered our food and we sit side by side, and yet still stare into each other’s eyes as our food arrived and we ate. He take my hand in his, kissing my fingers softly.
“Enjoying your meals” Michelle asks walking to us
“Yes ma’am “I say and smiles
“If you need anything else please let me know” Michelle says and walks away. After we was done eating he reach between my legs, brushing the dress aside and start massaging. Chris started lightly, teasingly as best he can.
“Bae” he say and I look at him and smile.
“Yea” I say
“I can’t wait to get you home and tongue fuck that pussy” he whisper in my ear and I kisses his nose.
“Oh yea” I say the waiter comes back for our desert order and he don’t stop massaging my sopping pussy, he hide it well enough as he order.
“Desert?” the waiter asks
“A brownie sundae for us to share.” he say He takes our order and leave us alone. Knowing we should have close to 10 minutes he thrust his fingers into me again, and as I gasp in surprise.
“Rabbit” I softly moans And rest my chin on his shoulder.
"Cum before deserts gets here for a present, fail and there is a punishment.” he say and kiss my neck. He start to work my g spot hard, it’s all I can do is to hold on to his forearm as he finger fuck me hard an well, but he slow down cause I am get close, holding back, I try humping his hand back, to finish myself, but I can’t dislodge it. After 10 minutes of wrestling his arm for my orgasm the waiter comes from the back, our desert in hand and I look him in the eyes. He don’t want me to win this one, and I knew it. Desperately I try to at least gather myself, but when the waiter is 10 feet away he start finger fucking me with everything he had, I was lost in the ecstasy when he gets to the table, eyes rolled back of my head and grasping his arm for dear life, not knowing if I could hold back even if I tried.
The waiter sets the desert down and rushes off, Chris will be sure to tip him well. But he give me everything he can. I lost it, he can feel it convulse against him and my nails digging into his arm and she bites down on my shoulder, he will probably have marks for a few days, but this moment is worth it. It’s a good few minutes before I recover, and he went back to massaging my pussy lips and clitoris. I don’t let his arm go though as he pull it out from under my dress and I wrap his arm around my shoulder and starts to gently suck my juices off of his fingers. Knowing this makes his blood boil for a moment and I love every second of it. After I was done I snuggle in close.
"You so bad.“ I whispers in his ear before kissing his ear lobe. He pulls me tight and reply
"You the one who’s got a punishment later. I couldn’t have been that bad." He say and I giggle in my post orgasm glow, and we take out time eating the warm brownie and homemade vanilla ice cream. About 2 hours later the restaurant was closing we got up and the manger and the owner came to us as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Thank yall so much for coming and for singing for us and everything was on the house” Robert said and Chris took a $100 dollar bill out and put it on the table and Robert looked at him.
“For the waiter you gotta leave a tip” he said I leaned in and gave Robert a kiss on the cheek as well as Michelle.
“Thank yall again” Michelle says and then we was invited to go paint balling with the people who worked here. We both said sure that we would love to go paint balling with them tomorrow. We finally leave and Pat starts to drive off. He pull me to him and wrap his arms around me.
“Had a good time tonight?” he asked kissing my neck and my face.
“Yes I did I loved it so much fun. Thank you Rabbit” I say We rode back to the hotel and I was heated on what he did to me and it was my turn to mess with him, we both went to the room and I went to him and he smiled at me, of course I smiled back. I smiled a little then brought my lips to his and kissed him gently. At the same time I ran my fingernails up his spine lightly, so he could barely feel it. I nibbled Chris’s bottom lip for a second and he put his hands behind my head, pulling my face closer. I ran my hands through his hair and slipped my tongue into his mouth just a little before I pulled back. He growled and pulled me even closer, a sense of urgency about him now.
"Stop teasing me bae,” he groaned.
“No.” I said and wasn’t about to stop doing anything that could get this reaction out of him.
Chris slid his hand back up skirt and grabbed my butt, which he knew I loved. He was playing dirty, so I’d have to get even dirtier. I started slowly rotating my pelvis, grinding hard against him. He was getting really hard and it turned me on so much. I pushed my tongue into his mouth, kissing him more forcefully. He responded quickly, and started running his fingers up and down my back. I could feel the wetness between my legs; I wanted him so badly, but I was going to wait for a little and keep teasing him. Slowly, one button at a time, I began to undo his shirt. He tried to help me, but I pushed his hands away.
"No helping, let me do whatever I want. I’m sure you’ll like it.“ I said
I pulled his shirt off and smiled. I loved his body; he was so strong and toned. Seeing his chest and all his tattoos almost made me forget what I was doing, but I looked up at his face and my head cleared a little. I ran my hands over his chest and traced the contours of his tattoos, loving the feel of his bare skin. I wanted to feel his skin against mine so badly. I could feel my nipples harden and knew that Chris would notice since every inch of our bodies was touching. I reached down and grabbed the hem of my shirt, then started to slowly pull it up over my head. My full breasts and erect nipples drew Chris’s gaze down and I saw a look of hunger cross his face. He leaned down and started to kiss my neck softly, then with increasing pressure. I was starting to breathe a bit faster now. I felt Chris’s tongue running up my neck toward my ear and I let out a sigh.
I ran my hands through his curls then pulled his face up to mine and kissed him passionately, letting the true magnitude of my desire show. Chris’s fingers were running along my breasts now and I moaned in pleasure. I leaned my head back, giving him better access to my chest. When his mouth found its way to my nipple, I gasped and grabbed onto him. He licked my nipple gently then nibbled on it, making my legs a little wobbly. His breathing accelerated and he pulled me against him hard. I could feel his erection – he was rock hard. I groaned loudly and dug my fingernails into his back. By now I could feel the wetness in between my legs – I was very close to losing control.
"This has to go, now,” I said as I undid his belt buckle. He grinned and pulled the belt through its loops and let it drop behind him. I moaned longingly at the sight of the bulge in his pants. He let out a faint chuckle and took my hand in his, then placed it on his dick. I could feel the blood pulsing in his veins. I wanted to tease him for a little longer so I dropped my hand, which let me focus better.
Chris wrapped me in his arms, then slid his hands down to my thighs, and back up under my skirt, cupping my butt. He pulled me close to him and leaned down to my ear
“You really should go without underwear more often, I like it.” he whisper
I giggled. “I’ll keep it in mind.” Chris moved his hands around to my stomach and then trailed down between my legs. I spread my legs a bit and he slid his hand in between my thighs.
He moaned. “You are so wet. Oh my god.”
I gasped when he pressed his index finger against my clit. I wanted him so badly. He slipped a finger inside me and I groaned as he started to pump it in and out. I reached down and pulled his head up to mine so I could kiss his neck. While I was kissing him, I unzipped his pants and they fell around his ankles. I leaned over and pulled his boxers down, exposing his rock hard dick. I kneeled down in front of Chris and smiled up at him. His face showed a look of longing. He knew what was coming, but I was going to make him wait just a second longer. Then, very slowly, I licked along the underside of his dick, from the base to the head. He groaned.
“Bae please” he begged me take him inside my mouth, but I wouldn’t. I continued to lick him for a moment, then I finally took him all the way into my mouth and he gasped. He loved it when I deep throated him. I grabbed his butt and pulled him towards me, and he buried himself in my mouth as far as he could. His dick was hot in my mouth and I loved the feeling, the skin was so smooth. I could taste the salty precum and felt a rush of desire radiate from my chest to my groin. We went on like this for another minute or two before I stood up and pushed him down onto the couch. I took off my skirt before straddling him. The feel of his rock hard dick on my clit was amazing. I moaned and started grinding myself into him as hard as I could. Chris ran his fingers lightly up my thighs and then continued up my sides to my nipples, pinching them. I was panting by now and it was impossible to stop grinding my clit into his dick; it felt too good.
“I don’t want you to cum just yet,” he said and he grasped my hips, holding me still. I squirmed hopelessly. He lifted me up a little so the head of his dick was pressed against me. I tried to lower myself down onto him, but he had a vice-like grip on me. I knew that this was hard for him because I was positive that he felt the heat and wetness emanating from between my legs. I gave up and moved forward, towards his face. I let my breasts hang down in his face and he happily took one of my nipples into his mouth while he used his hand to play with the other one. My breathing was starting to slow a tad now and I had better control over myself. I kissed down Chris’s neck to his collarbone, lingering there for a moment before continuing down his chest and stomach. I moved down his stomach to the base of his dick and felt him tense up. I blew warm air over the head and flicked my tongue over the hole and heard him groan. I smiled and started to make my way back up to his neck.
“Why did you have to stop,” he asked desperately.
“Because you made me stop,” I whispered in his ear.
He pulled me down toward his hard dick, stopping when the tip of it was pressed gently against my clit. The slight pressure was enough to start my heart pounding again. Then he started to rotate his hips so the head of his dick was massaging my clit. I let out a strangled cry, something between a yell and a growl. I was starting to get close again. Then Chris adjusted himself slightly, and he was once again positioned to enter me. I dug my fingernails into his chest, trying to lower myself on to him, but he wouldn’t let me.
“Please,” I begged.
Smirking, Chris lowered me down with agonizing slowness. I cried out, wanting him to bury himself in me as far as he could. I started moaning once he was halfway inside me. It felt so good – he was so hard, and his skin was on fire. As soon as he’s all the way in he starts to pump in and out again. I’m panting now and he’s picking up speed. I can feel an orgasm building. It’s impossible for me to keep quiet now. I’m almost to the edge when Chris suddenly slows and I let out a shriek. I was so close. I look at Chris and he chuckles.
“I’m in control now bae. I can do this all night long if I want.” He said I know that he’s exaggerating, his breathing is ragged and his entire body is tense – he’s close to the edge as well. He holds me in place for several seconds, letting me calm down before he starts up again. This time, when I get close he slows just enough to keep me on the edge for however long he wants to. I can’t do anything about it; his hands are like vices around my hips.
“CHRIS FUCK” I start to yell from frustration, the feeling is so intense. I can feel the blood pulsing in his dick, and it drags me closer to the edge. Then Chris releases my hips and puts his finger on my clit, pressing hard. I gasp as he starts to pump in and out again. I can feel the orgasm start to hit, a tidal wave of intense pleasure that sweeps through my entire body. I let out an animalistic scream and I feel Chris explode with me, hear his shout of ecstasy.
“SHHHIIIIIIITTTTT BAE” He moaned and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me down to him kissing me passionately I was loving every minute of it. After we both came we wrapped up in the cover and kissed until we both feel asleep.
***THE NEXT DAY THAT AFTERNOON***
Me and Chris met up with the workers from the restaurant last night and we was breaking up into teams.
¿Todos hablan única causa española Chris puede hablar, pero él sólo puede seguir…” I said looking at them. { Do you all speak only Spanish cause Chris can speak it but he can only follow if you speak it slowly. }
“We speak English, when we work we have to only speak Spanish cause most of the people who come in only speak it” A guy said
“Okay alright well yall are my team we can speak it very fast he won’t catch on” I said and my team laughed as we went and got out paint ball gear. “Excuse me can you take our picture please”
“Sure” the guy said and took our picture and I posted
“YOUR GOING DOWN BITCHES” I screamed and it was on. We went to the paint ball war zone we was running around laughing shooting we was out here for about a hour and a half til it was me and 3 people on my team and just Chris was all by himself.
“He’s over to the side laying down on the ground peeking. He’s trying to get the sneak attack on us” Johnny said and I nodded
“Deje que divide e ir hacia él a la vez que no vea que viene, nos aseguramos que encendemos el culo para arriba” I said { Let split up and go at him all at once he won’t see that coming, make sure we light his ass up} we all split up and ran right to where he was and he saw us coming and he tried to run but started shooting at us. “Protegerme, En el momento en que llegue a mí me lo llevaré a cabo” { Shield me, By the time he gets to me I’ll take him out } we all was now moving towards Chris and he jumped up shooting at all of us and I ran around the side and came up behind him and put the gun to his head. “GAME OVER BREEZY”
“Erin wait” he said trying not to laugh.
“NOPE YOU DIE” I said and shot him in the back a few times and he screamed and fell forward on his stomach, pretending to be dying, coughing, shaking we stood around and laughed at him, he so silly. “Are you done?”
He rolled over to his back and frowned. “Can I please shoot you, it’ll make the pain go away” he whined.
“In the arm once” I said and he got up and before I could brace myself he shot me. “AAAAHH, How about a warning you loser” he giggled and pulled me to a hug and gave me a kiss.I took a picture with my team happy we won and i posted it.
We hung out with them some more and they told us about a street festival that was going to be going on and we was down for it I told Chris to call the crew when we got back to the hotel but he was pretending that he didn’t hear me he was on his phone for the most part of the ride back to the hotel once in the suite he went and took a shower and got dress and sat down and I came to talk to him and he still didn’t answer me so I took his picture and posted it
“Fine ignore me all you want” I said as I walked to the bathroom and took my shower and got dressed and noticed the wound on my arm and took a picture of it and posted it.
I walked out into the livingroom where Chris was and he was watching tv.
‘So I take it your not going huh? Since your ignoring me right?” I said and he looked at me and smiled a little.
“Nawl I’m not anymore you ready?” he asked getting up hugging me and we went ahead and left and met up with the crew and went off, of course we had the police with us but we still had fun, it was good music and good food I even took a few pictures with fans that I had posted
The time here was so good I was loving it, this honeymoon was going so good I was so happy that things are going great.
CHRIS
The next 2 weeks here was fun we was now hanging out with the crew, and her cousins. I was laying on the couch and Erin was laying on the floor with her feet on my stomach she was watching tv upside down, I was on the phone with my Mom but I couldn’t understand everything she was saying cause she was crying and this made me sit up. My Mom was crying and telling me sorry that she didn’t call sooner and tell me the truth from the last time we spoke, the day we went paint balling I wasn’t mad at Erin I was in my thoughts cause I was on the phone with my mamma and she told me Aaron’s hair was falling out more and more from his chemo treatment and I told her to go ahead and cut it all off and I was just worried about him and she been calling me these past 2 weeks telling me about how he’s doing. I should told Erin, I know he’s her son too but I didn’t wanna tell Erin to worry her.
“Mamma please slow down” I said and Erin turned and sat up looking at me.
Ph) “He took a turn for the worst last week yall need to come home now” mamma said …click I just hung up and got up.
“What’s wrong Chris what is it?” she asked
“It’s Aaron he’s in the hospital we gotta go home, I’ll call the crew” I said and I went to her and hugged her tight. We, well I called everyone and we was all packed up and left it was going to be a 6 hour and 45 minute flight all the way back to L.A. I told Erin everything, I had to let her know I knew what was going on and she lost it on me right there on the plane in front of everyone she got up and started hitting me saying how mad she was at me for keeping this from her and how we should have left the moment he was taken to the hospital. She didn’t want me to touch her and she went right to Pat and laid her head on him and cried, I sat there and watched him try to calm her down but it didn’t work she started to have a seizure I got up and went to her and helped him with her, when she was done I sat with them she did sit back with me, wrapping her arms around my arm.
After the 6 and a half hours flight we wanted to go home and change first, I think Erin was more scared to go to the hospital and we went right to her house and once there she took her bags to her closet and said she was going to change real fast and for me to go ahead and change.
She grabbed her clothes and she dressed quickly. Turning to her suitcase and looking at it when She saw a picture of all the Kid in there and she looked at the one of Aaron, getting it looking at it the truth why we was back here hit her hard and She felt as if She ’d been punched in the stomach. She sank onto the floor holding the picture in her hands clenched against her as she leant over her knees in an effort to get some air back into her lungs.
Tears came unbidden to her eyes, trickling over her lashes and falling at her feet. God She felt like she made such a mess of things! She felt like it was her fault, even if we all told her it wasn’t. She felt so bad for the kids and for me as well. Never mind her. How was our relationship going to survive this? How on earth was everything going to be okay ever again? She hoped against hope that it would be.
She could feel a sob building in her chest but she swallowed it back not wanting to let me see her as a blubbering mess. She needn’t have worried. I was already standing in the doorway of the closet as she glanced that way to check to see if I was dressed yet. She was hoping to get herself under some semblance of control before she came into the room, but she guess my timing was better than hers, or worse maybe. I just gazed at her with a sad kind of look in my eyes knowing, without having to ask, what had her upset. I walked over and sat beside her, draping my arm around her shoulders and pulling her into my chest.
“Please don’t cry! I told you; it’ll be okay, we’ll work it out somehow.” I reassured her softly.
“How?” she asked dejectedly.
“Honestly? I don’t really know, but we will. I’m sure of that. We just need to give it a little more time. And just keep praying that he’ll be okay and come home” I said
“Do you really believe that Chris?” she asked sniffing. I gave her a soft smile as I brushed away her tears.
“I really do, Bae.” I say.
“Do you think he’s going to die or do you think he’s going to come home?“ she asked I leant back and raised her chin with my hand, staring into her face.
"I know he’s coming home he’s fighter like his mommy, he just need this rest so he can cause hell later,” I said seriously as I leant down and brushed a fleeting kiss across her lips. I would never lie to her again but right then I did.
“Chris I hope your right I don’t know if I can live with myself if he… (she swallowed the huge lump in her throat at what she was going to say next and her voice wavered badly as she finished) If he doesn’t pull through and I don’t think we should have more kids. I don’t want you to lose any more babies because of me.You’ll probably not want me anymore" she says as big fat tears rolled down her cheeks. I shook my head, my brow furrowed a little in anger as my fingers dug almost painfully into her shoulders.
“Don’t ever think that! Not for a second, not ever, do you hear me?” I said as she sniffed pathetically and my grip loosened somewhat. “Erin I know how you’re feeling but don’t feel that way this is not your fault” I said
“But…” she said
“No buts! I won’t lose him or you, not at all he will be fine.” I growled. I laid a palm softly against her cheek. I continued more gently, “Promise me Erin; you won’t even think about that again! Not after today.”
She blinked and turned her head into my palm, kissing the warm skin of my hand as she half stood and scooted over, ensconcing herself on my lap. She pulled up her knees and tucked her body in against mines as she laid her head on my shoulder. I held her close.
"I promise!“ She whispered.
"Thank you! (I pressed my lips against her brow) I have faith, God will help us and hear our cry” I said in a low voice whispered against her skin. I rose and pulled her up with me, setting her feet down on the floor gently. And with that we left and went right to the hospital.
Once we got there we was showed to his room and I had to hold back my tears to see my son in a hospital bed, Mamma got up and hugged us both Erin went right to his bed side and ran her hands over his bald head. Kissing his face I stood there watching her cry softly and I wasn’t able to hold my own tears back cause I started to cry too.
We was here in the hospital for about 11 days, 11 long days Aaron was moved to intensive care but doctors relized during an MRI scan that no treatment would save our son. When he went for the scan and never woke up. Basically it was just a matter of time. They told us we could have as long as we wanted but he would either go on his own or we could make the decision to switch off the machine. He was on the machine when we got here. Christia was here laying in the bed with him talking to him, reading to him and really just talking about the pictures, he was awake then but like I said once he went for the scan he never woke up. The whole crew came in and spoke with him, even Bruno and his band came by to say bye to him, as well as Rihanna, Kae, Jhene they all came by. We had to decide whether we wanted to switch off the machine. It was the hardest thing ever but we didn’t want him to suffer anymore. So we put him in his Spiderman Pyjamas and of course we stayed with him until the next morning. He looked so peaceful and comfortable. We got thousands of phone calls, text, emails, twitter meggages of support and sympathy and love.
That morning Erin was in the bed with him and I was sitting by the bed holding his hand neither one of us real slept. But that morning at 6:22 am we felt him take his last breath in his sleep and that when we both lost it. But to hear my wife drop to her knees and scream when the nurses came in to the room and checked him and said he was gone. The scream she let out I will never forget it, the tears and the cries that was in that room, I held Erin tight as we cried, and had to watch them wheel his lifeless body out of the room, was heartbreaking, I don’t know how we are going to make it, I just don’t know I hate to say this I know its not her fault, but part of me feels like it is.

I'd imagine that every time Halloween rolls around, Rockstar!Eddie and Nepo Baby are on the cover of at least one magazine with a spooky Halloween photoshoot. I'm seeing a werewolf eating (out) a fair maiden. Or a pregnant Nepo Baby tied to a table and a Rockstar!Eddie getting ready to sacrifice her. Or them recreating a scene from the biggest horror movie of the year.
Only over the years, as the kids accumulate, it goes from Playboy to Parade. And instead of tits with fang punctures, you've got a line of tots in skeleton pajamas.
(This was originally meant to be a blurb prompt and I got carried away so now I think it's more just a Spooky Thought I had to share with you. Whatever, Happy First Day of Fall! 😂)
oneforthemunny's spooky stories: rockstar!eddie x reader's time warp
or how halloween looks through the years for rockstar!eddie and nepo baby!reader :) ps pics below are for inspo that i used not specific more of just how the photos looked or what the idea was based off of!

“Look at you.” Eddie grinned, dimples and shining eyes when they rolled over your frame. “My bride.”
That you were, both in and out of costume. It was the only recognizable part of yourself right now, your engagement ring. Your skin had been tinged a pale green, the SFX artist made your ‘gashes’ and ‘stitches’ look far too real for your liking. Tonight, you were the bride of Frankenstein, instead of Munson.
“Look at you.” You pouted, eyes rolling over his costume. Not Frankenstein, but… a vampire? “What-What are you wearing?” You huff, throwing an arm out at his costume. “We’re supposed to be Frankenstein and-”
“-Technically, it’s Frankenstein’s monster.” Eddie grinned, fake fangs making his smile more sinister looking. “I had a last minute change. Dracula and Bride of Frankenstein together? That’s scandalous. So much better, baby, believe me. No one’s done this before.”
You rolled your eyes, shifting the torn white dress to cover yourself. “When did you change your mind? While I was in makeup for six hours?”
Eddie laughed, hands running down your skin. “I like your hair.” He muttered. “Think you should do this more often. Pretty metal look for you, baby.”
“Yeah?” You hum, running a hand lightly over the electrified updo. “Too bad it’s a wig. Maybe I’ll keep it. Put it in the dungeon for you, when you want to get really weird and freaky.”
“I always wanna get really weird and freaky with you.” Eddie growled, a low rasp in his tone that had your knees shaking. His lips ducked down towards yours, the fake blood around his mouth making your stomach turn.
“No,” You shake your head. “Get these pictures first, then you can kiss me. I’m not sitting in makeup again, Munson, my ass was falling asleep. I was sitting there for so long.”
“I can help you with that.” Eddie growled, a playful smack to your barely covered backside that had you shrilling, glaring at him through white contacts.
October 31st, 1993
“You can barely even see the bump.” You huff, cradling your bare stomach in the mirror. “It just looks like I’m bloated.”
“You’re out of your mind.” Eddie shook his head, inked hands cradling your torso. “You look so pretty.”
Your lips settle in a pout, turning to the side, pushing your stomach out further in the pink, frilly lingerie from the 60’s. The sheer robe tied at your collarbones, flowing over your frame beautifully, parting so your belly could poke out. It wasn’t the pregnancy announcement you expected to have, but a fun one, regardless. One that would leave a shocking impression when it was sent to the press.
Eddie’s ‘costume’ hung around his waist, arms crossed over his bare, tattooed chest. You grinned at the green, scaly suit- designed to subtly resemble Creature From The Black Lagoon’s monster.
You smirked to yourself, looking at Eddie through the mirror. “My parents are going to hate this.” You grin, nearly proud. It made Eddie’s heart skip.
“Good.” Eddie snorted with an eye roll. “Not their baby. Not their choice.” He shrugged, hands roaming protectively over your soft, stretched skin. “Victor shouldn’t hate it too much, right? It’s a movie reference, at least.”
You laughed lightly. “True, and I’m… more covered than last time, right?” You grin, smoothing your hand over your exposed skin.
“Definitely, much more reserved than last time.” Eddie grinned, chin hooking over your shoulder. “We have to be more appropriate, Button, now that we’re going to be parents.” Eddie mocked your father’s posh, droning tone, quoting what Victor nagged about over the last brunch you had together- a month ago when you told them you were expecting.
Eddie’s lips pursed at the pinch still unfaltering in your brows, hands still smoothing over your belly. “Hey, look at me.” Eddie rasped, hand cradling your jaw gently, pulling your eyes to meet his. Those soft eyes that made your heart skip a beat every time you found yourself in their gaze.
“Fuck ‘em, alright? This isn’t their baby, it’s our baby.” Eddie muttered. “You wanna do this? We don’t have to. I’ll tell them all to go fuck off if you want me to. Or we can do something different. Do the Mummy things if you want to. Just say the word. Your call-”
“Ed.” The smile he’d been looking for graced your face finally. “I still want to do the photos. I’m just… I’m having a moment. I’m hormonal, and-and I’m just having a moment.”
Eddie grinned, plush lips pressing a kiss to your nose. “Have a moment. You look hot, though.”
“Thanks.” You muttered, eyes fluttering to look up at him through the strip of false lashes. “Not bloated?”
Eddie snorted. “Definitely not. Very pregnant. Very, very hot.”
October 31st, 1994
“Ed, is she looking?” You say through a smile, eyes still trained on the camera.
“No, she keeps looking at you.” Eddie huffed, lowering the camera. “Looking at your webs.”
No crew this time, oh no, Eddie wanted to do it all on his own. The set up wasn’t elaborate, but your costume was. The Black Widow, finished with webs that attached to your dress, hung around you for the perfect dramatic effect Eddie was looking for. In your arms, your little itsy bitsy spider, Persephone.
“Sephy,” Eddie cooed. “Fuck, babe, where’s the rattle thing? The lamb?”
“I grabbed it. Look behind you.” You nodded, cradling Persephone closely, her little hands reaching for you and pulling the fake spider arms with her. “You’re just a pretty little spider, aren’t you? The cutest little spider!”
“Found it!” The camera bounced on Eddie’s chest, shooting you a dimpled grin that had you flushing. “Look at me, Sephy! Look at Daddy!”
You fixed her in your arms, cradling her to your side. “Is she looking?”
“Yes, she is!” Eddie lilted in that babbling baby talk that had your heart swelling. “Look at my little spider. That’s so good, look at Daddy!”
“You sure you don’t want to be in this one?” You asked, hoisting Sephy up higher into your arms, swaying her lightly.
“Nah,” Eddie shook his head, looking down at the camera, pulling out the film. “Just wanna look at you, baby.” He winked.
October 31st, 1999
“Kensie,” You coo, looking down at the red faced four year old, desperately trying to keep her from tearing off her ears, two fuzzy clips that mimicked a cute werewolf. “We just need to take a couple of photos, and then we can change and go Trick-or-Treating, I promise.”
“I wanna go no-o-ow!” Kensie wailed, a piercing sob that had you cringing, the twins stirring in their black bassinet prop.
“Kensington,” Eddie grit, adjusting Persephone’s cape. “Trick-or-Treating hasn’t even started. There’s nothing out there right now. No candy.”
You glared at him lightly, though Kensie’s sniffles did ease. “No?” She asked, head tilting to the side sweetly.
Eddie shook his head, green painted frown softening lightly. “No, baby. Doesn’t start until six. We have plenty of time.”
“Better quit frowning, baby.” You hum, tapping your finger on Eddie’s creasing forehead paint.
This year's theme was a take on the classic, creepy show from the 60’s. What better way to celebrate your still growing family than this? Everyone else was favoring the Addams Family this year, but not the Munson’s- Munster’s.
“Are you ready, Mrs. Munson?” Phil asked, looking up from his camera at you.
You nodded, fixing your dress while you stood next to Eddie, one hand on the bassinet. “You think they can tell?” You grit through your smile, your dress snug when you turn towards him.
“No.” Eddie gritted back, eyes flickering down to your abdomen, just starting to swell with baby number five. “You look good, baby, always do.”

The World as We Know It
Chapter 1
Read on AO3
It was swelteringly hot.
Eddie lay sprawled in the back row of Mike’s van, wishing he were dead.
But since he wasn’t dead he was focusing on the drop of sweat making its way down his spine, the throbbing in his head, and the growling of his stomach.
The world was falling to shit and he was stuck in the back seat of a car driving somewhere with no plan, barely any food, a crowbar, and the clothes he had managed to cram into his backpack before Bill had hauled him out of the house and practically thrown him the back seat. He rolled onto his side on the back bench, taking in the exhausted looks on his friends’ faces.
It was impossible for him not to think about the face that wasn’t with them.
It was too quiet.
Eddied sighed softly and pulled his phone out of his pocket, only to see it was still blank.
Where the fuck is Richie… is Eddie’s only coherent thought, followed quickly by, Ma is gonna have a panic attack...if she’s even still alive.
“S-someone needs to go and l-look for him.” Bill’s voice reached Eddie through the hazy heat that was clouding his brain as they pulled up in front of the familiar green house.
“I’ll do it,” Mike volunteered.
“No,” Eddie cut him off quickly, “keep the car running,” he rolled off the seat, “Stan and I will go.” Stan nodded, following Eddie out of the car.
“What...what if he’s one of them,” Stan whispered.
Eddie shouldered his tire iron, “Then we do what we have to…” he closed his eyes, taking a shuttered breath, “But hopefully it isn’t going to come to that.”
Stan nodded, following Eddie into the house.
The front hall was a mess. As they picked their way through, Stan turned to Eddie, eyes wide with fear. A sudden sound from the living room caught their attention. Two bodies lay in the living room, bleeding and groaning, organs spilling out onto the carpet. Eddie poked his head around the corner and grimaced, bile rising in his throat.
“Wentworth and Maggie…” he managed to gag before vomiting on the front carpet.
“No Lydia?” Stan bit his lip, eyebrows drawing together with worry as Eddie continued to gag.
Eddie shook his head, “No Lydia…” he panted, “She left for camp.” he croaked, throat hoarse from the acidic burn in his throat.
“Good for her. Maybe she’d get out of this shit show alive,” Stan mumbled under his breath.
A noise from upstairs caught his attention. Eddie turned to Stan gesturing for him to follow him.
This asshole better be alive because I don’t think I have it in me to kill him He thought to himself as he climbed the stairs. Stan followed close behind him, reaching Richie’s half closed bedroom.
“On three?” he whispered, looking over at Stan, who nodded.
“One...two...three.” They kicked the door open and were met with a scream and a boot being thrown at their heads.
“Jesus FUCK.” Richie slumped back against his dresser and ran a hand over his face, “You scared the fuck out of me.”
Eddie grinned, dropping the tire iron and throwing himself into Richie’s arms, “Scared you? Asshole I thought you were fucking dead! I left you twenty messages...” he whispered hiding his face in Richie’s neck. He took a deep, settling breath, letting the calming smell if his best friend (boyfriend?) calm his nerves. He pulled back, taking Richie’s hand, “We gotta go.” he pulled Richie to his feet, shoving his backpack and St. Louis Slugger baseball bat into his hands, “Pack. Clothes, first aid, food. Anything.” he let his fingers linger against Richie’s for a moment before heading into the hallway.
Moments later, Richie emerged, backpack over his shoulder and baseball bat in hand. Slowly, the three boys crept down the stairs. As the reached the first floor, another low groan emitted from the living room.
“My mom and dad…” Richie whispered, turning to move into the room next to him.
Eddie shook his head, grabbing his arm and attempting to pull him away from the door, “It’s better not to look. They aren’t...I couldn’t kill them. Not like this. They’re gonna die anyway…” he kept a tight grip on Richie’s arms, continuing to try to pull him back from the gruesome scene in the Tozier living room, “Richie please we need to go.”
An inhuman noise ripped it’s way suddenly out of Richie, “Fuck Eddie no! This isn’t fucking fair!” he tried to pull himself away from Eddie, only to have his other arm grabbed by Stan. Tears were falling down his freckled face as he threw his full weight away from the shorter boys.
“Richie no!” Eddie dragged him back, pushing him up against the wall, “You can’t see them like this you know they wouldn’t want you to see them like this. It’s a miracle that you’re alive. Don’t push your luck. They’re gonna change any minute now and unless you wanna be the one to kill them, we can’t be here when they do.” His voice was thick with tears.
He and Stan wrestled a still screaming, struggling Richie down the front stairs and into the car. Eddie and Richie crawled into to he back, barely getting settled as Mike hit the gas.
Eddie stared out the window, wordlessly stroking Richie’s hair. The tall, skinny boy has his head in Eddie’s lap, tears still rolling down his face. Eddie wished he could say something comforting. Something that would make whatever Richie was feeling ease.
But what do you say to someone whose parents were just ripped apart by a horde of zombies?
Eddie reached down and laced his fingers with Richie’s. This...thing...whatever it was between them, had started a few months ago. Simple things. Longer glances. Hand holding. Cuddling closer together during sleepovers or on the nights that Richie snuck into his room.
Can you call someone your boyfriend if you haven’t kissed them yet?
Can you call someone your boyfriend if you haven’t told them you liked them yet?
And how do you tell someone you love them when the entire world is falling apart?
All questions that were going to have to wait until they figured out what the fuck was going on. Richie had stopped crying but was laying spread over the seat, uncharacteristically silent. Ben and Bev were in the row in front of them, whispering quietly amongst themselves as they sorted out food and supplies. Mike was driving with Bill and Stan curled in each other’s arms in the passenger seat.
The tension was palpable like any movement could set of something catastrophic.
Then someone coughed.
Almost like the universe had been waiting for a sign to dump shit on them.
A body slammed into the side of the car, a bloody handprint smearing across the window.
“What the FUCK was the that?” Richie shrieked, as another body slammed into the side off the van. He scrambled backward, pressing closer to Eddie, who instinctively grabbed his hand.
“The dead…” Eddie squeezed his hand, grabbing the baseball bat from the floor between them and passing it to Richie, “Undead I guess.” he mumbled, pressing closer into the lanky teen’s side and lacing their fingers together. He leaned over to peer out the window and gasped, recoiling in horror.
“No…” he whispered, “Fuck mom no!!” he pressed himself back up against the window, not even noticing as Richie moved next to him. Sonia Kaspbrak was lumbering up the block towards the van, her large, fat-dimpled arms and neck covered in blood. A large chunk of her face was missing from a bite mark and blood was oozing down her chest and over her hands.
“Mike stop! Stop the car!” Eddie screeched, “Stop the fucking car!”, tears were rolling down his face, “Fucking stop!” he sobbed.
“Eddie we can’t.” Mike sounded pained, “I can’t let you go out there.”
“But-”
“No! There are too many of them out there for us to fight even if we could save her.”
The car slowed as Mike attempted to weave his way throw a new hoard of zombies that were surrounding the car and Eddie seized his chance. Jumping over the middle row, he lunged for the door of the van, knocking it open with his shoulder and tumbling out onto the street.
“Shit!” Mike slammed on the brakes, “Eddie get back in the car!” He ripped off his seatbelt as he put the car in park.
Richie was already moving. He grabbed his baseball bat and scrambled out the door, “Eddie! Eddie fucking slow down!” his long legs made it easy to catch up with the smaller brunette, “Eddie come on wait!” he grabbed his arm and pulled him around the corner into in an alleyway, away from the groaning monsters on the main street.
“Eds…” he held him by the shoulders, “You can’t go after her.”
Eddie looked up at him, tears streaming down his face, “I know she’s awful, but she’s my-”
“Your mom I know,” he soothed gently, “But Ed’s you can’t save her.”
“But I-”
“No Eddie. We need to go,” Richie gripped his shoulder, attempting to calm himself and the still crying Eddie, “I know she’s your mom and you feel loyalty to her, but this is your life on the line. Not just yours. Our lives on the line,” Richie looked pained as he attempted to reason with Eddie, “Don’t make that face. I know how you’re feeling,” he pleaded as Eddie narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest, “Don’t forget, I lost my parents too.
“At least let me see how far along she is…” Eddie pleaded again.
Richie stood silently, considering him for a moment. Then he sighed “Fine. But I’m coming with you.” he shouldered his baseball bat and took Eddie’s hand.
Eddie squeezed “Thank you.” he whispered as they stepped back out onto the street. Sonia stood there, swaying in place. Blood was still pouring from the bite on her cheek, muscle and bone exposed. She turned at the sound of them moving, jaw swinging loosely as the muscles threatened to snap.
“Edward…” she whispered, voice coming out croaky and weak.
Eddie took two hesitant steps toward her, “Mom…” he whispered, “Mommy…” he covered his mouth, as tears welled in his eyes again, “How long...how long have you been…”
She shook her head “I was coming back from the store. About a day now.”
“But you haven’t gotten sick yet…” he whimpered, reaching out for her, only to have Richie yank him back.
“Don’t.” he hissed, “Don’t touch her.” he pinned Eddie’s arm’s to his side.
“I know…” Eddie whispered, voice suddenly weak, “I just…” he shook slightly, leaning into Richie’s touch. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a steadying breath, “I know.”
Suddenly, Sonia shrieked. An unearthly, horrible, soul-shaking sound that chilled Eddie to his center. Her eyes rolled back and she lunged forward, unsteady as the virus took over her brain.
It all happened so fast.
Eddie felt himself freeze in place, all the air leaving his body. He watched, rooted to the concrete as she reached out for him, her skin already starting to rot as the infection raced through her body. Her fingers twitched, reaching for his throat.
Suddenly, there were several shouts, Bill grabbing Eddie by the shoulders and pulling him out of the way of Sonia and turning him away, and a sickeningly wet crunch.
Everything seemed to freeze as Eddie turned to see the source of the sound.
Images flashed in front of Eddie’s eyes; Richie holding a now bloodied baseball bat, a puddle of blood slowly spreading over Rose Avenue, the cracked glasses laying in the gutter...
And his mother, Sonia Kaspbrak, dead in the street.

hold your horses |cowboy!eddie munson x reader|
prompt: eddie's warned you about your speeding.
cowboy!eddie has been heavy on my mind, since reading @munsonology version of him.
contains: filthy. MINORS DNI 18+!!! cowboy!eddie, domestic discipline-ish/ dom&sub themes, degrading, mean!dom eddie, spanking, oral fem receiving, p in v sex, after care.
The Munson Family Ranch sat on the outskirts of Hawkins, a thirty minute drive out into the rural side of the county- a twenty minute if the backroads were clear.
The first thing Eddie ever noticed about you, was your little, red sports car. The car you'd been trying to fit stacks of lumber into at the Hawkins Hardware store the first time he met you. It was cute, a little thing that could fly. You'd driven him a few times in it, pressing the gas pedal down so it roared to life, leaving Eddie grappling for the car handle. You'd laugh, look over at him with a little grin that always meant trouble.
"What?" You'd shrug innocently. "I like to go fast, baby, you know that."
Eddie did know that. Hell, half of Hawkins knew that, seeing you race by in a flash of red. More importantly, the Hawkins Police Department knew it too. You'd had your fair share of speeding tickets, some you could charm your way out of, others stuck to your name. They only seemed to pile up as you started coming out to Eddie's more often.
"What'd I tell ya 'bout speedin' down those roads?" Eddie frowned, lips pulled down in an unimpressed, fixed look at you. "Told ya that was dangerous, now, baby."
"I know, I know." You huffed lightly, waving him off with a little bat of your hand. "I'm just excited to get to ya, that's all." You grinned, wrapping your arms around him.
Eddie melted into your touch, your pretty smile and dazzling eyes, it was his weakness. He relented, pressing a kiss into the crook of your elbow, pulling you in by your waist. "You better slow down, girlie." Eddie lifted a brow at you. "Want you to come see me in one piece, you hear me?" He pinched the fat of your ass, leaving you squealing into his kiss.
Even with his warning, you still wouldn't slow down, driving too fast down the winding roads out towards his house. Even down the long, dirt driveway towards the house, Eddie would watch you, cloud of dust following behind you. He'd told you not to do that. It got the horses all wild for no reason.
"Hi, baby," You greeted with a purr, sunglasses pushed up onto your head, sauntering towards him sweetly.
Your mouth salivated at the sight of Eddie, hair pulled back and hat tipped low over his brow to fight the unforgiving sun that was beating down onto him. Wrangler clad ass that fit him snug, very nice, accentuating his bulge that had you flushing and pulsing between the legs. He wore his work gloves, tightening a fence knocked down by a bucking bronco from the day before.
"Hey, sweet thing." Eddie cooed, dimpled grin painting his lips, leaving you blushing and reeling. "What're you doin' here so early?"
You shrugged, hands clasped behind your back. "Missed you." You shrugged simply. "I got off work early and thought I'd come see you. Tried to call but... guess you were busy." You tilted your head to the side, looking at the kicked in wood Eddie was fixing.
"Yeah," Eddie snorted, shaking his head down at the wood. "Frodo's being a dick again, but managed to stay on for twenty-seconds. Beat my record."
"That's amazing, baby." You beamed down at him.
Eddie blushed gently, tongue poking out in concentration again. "I'm gonna finish up this. You got a letter from the Sheriff's department in yonder on the table." Eddie's eyes flicked up to you, watching how you stilled, face dropping. "Somethin' you wanna tell me?"
You stammered, looking back from Eddie to the house. "No," You said quickly. "I-I bet it's because I need to change my address. I haven't got around to it yet-"
"-You've been speeding again." Eddie said simply. "Haven't you?" His voice didn't hold any anger, it wasn't strict or scolding, it was level, casual like he'd asked you about the weather.
Your heart thumped in your chest. "N-No." You stuttered, cheeks flushing and flaming.
Eddie scoffed, shaking his head while he gripped the fence, veins protruding in the most delicious way. It had your knees buckling. "Don't lie to me, sweetheart. You'll just make it worse for yourself." A chill spilled down your spine, leaving you shuddering despite the heat from the sun basking on you.
"Seventy-two in a forty-five?" Eddie looked up at you, challenging. Your mouth hung open. "That's might fast to be goin'."
"Y-You looked through my mail?" You gaped, eyes gouging at Eddie in disbelief. "Eddie, you can't do that! That-that's illegal-"
"-So is going thirty over the speed limit down back roads." Eddie snapped firmly at you. His eyes cut over to your, peeking out menacing from under the brim of his hat. "Ran into Hopper today, and he told me one more time and your license would be suspended. I told him not to worry, I'd handle you."
Your tummy flipped, twisting with excitement and dread all at once, a contradicting feeling that left you dizzy. "What'd I tell you would happen last time if I found out you were speeding again?"
Your cheeks blistered, mind reeling back to the conversation. Eddie'd only spanked you lightly, enough to get you whining and pouty before sticking a finger in your face, scolding you like a bad puppy. "I'm gonna tear that ass up if I hear you're speeding again, you understand me, girlie?" You'd nodded dumbly, eyes glazed before dropping to your knees to suck him off as an apology.
You doubted that would help you now.
"I asked you somthin'." Eddie snapped, pulling you out of your own thoughts. "You just not gonna follow any of my rules now?"
"No, sir." You answered quickly, spine straightening under his intense glare. "You said... You said you'd make me sorry." You muttered, a paraphrase sure, but surely Eddie wouldn't make you repeat his exact words.
Eddie snorted in a laugh, shaking his head. "That's not what I said, and you know it." He sneered. "That's alright, honey, you don't wanna be good for me."
"I do." You huffed, lip jutting out towards him. You hated when he'd be mean with you like this. He knows it drives you wild.
"Hm, then prove it." Eddie's tone was cool, chilling almost. He always kept his cool, his composure, even when he was about to wreck you. "Go on and wait for me. You know how I want you. I'll be there in a few, darlin'. You got some learnin' ahead of you."
Your heart skipped, shaky legs carrying you up the steps of the porch towards the farm house. You could feel the pulsing between your legs, agonizing and throbbing. God, you loved when Eddie was rough with you like this. When he'd leave you sobbing and blistered from his belt, begging and dumb on his cock after he'd thoroughly ruined you to his satisfaction. You knew he'd come in, sweat soaked and musty from the day of work, and your mouth filled with spit. You hoped he'd fuck your throat, shoving his cock unforgivingly filthy into your mouth until your esophagus was bruised.
You folded your clothes neatly, placing them on the dresser before grabbing two pillows. He'd want you in the middle of the bed, ass up and hands out. You were unsure of if he'd tie you to the headboard or behind your back. You prayed behind your back, because then that meant the spanking wouldn't be as mean. He wouldn't have your hands that close where he might strike them during his lashing.
You wiggled your hips, relaxing into the fluffy pillows, sighing at the friction on your clit. You hoped he wouldn't see how drenched you were. It would only make him go harder. This was a punishment after all, a lesson you needed to learn.
The screen door screeched and latched, heavy boots hitting against the creaking wood towards the bedroom. Your heart fluttered in excitement, rolling your shoulders forward, hands clasped and extended forward.
Eddie hummed from the doorway, setting down something heavy on the ground. "So you can be a good girl?" Eddie asked, rhetorically. "When you wanna be?"
You pressed your lips together, clenching to keep yourself from shivering at the gravely tone of his voice. Oh, how you ached, begged to be touched and fucked. The mere sound of his voice was getting you this electrified. Your mind raced at what his touch would to do you.
"You've been quite the bad girl, haven't you darlin'?" Eddie tsked, sighing heavy for emphasis. His ostrich skin boots, brown and worn from the work day thundering against the floor.
"Y'don't wanna listen to my rules. Don't wanna listen to the law." Eddie's calloused hands skated across your bare back, goosebumps left in the wake of his feather light touch.
"You just wanna be a bad girl from now on?" Eddie asked, coming to the top of the bed, muddy eyes dark, brows furrowed down at you. "Go on and answer me, baby. You just not wanna be good f'me anymore? Just don't want to listen to anyone anymore?"
You shook your head. "No, Ed." You whispered, breath catching in your throat.
Eddie pursed his lips, puckering them out in confusion. "Then why're you not listenin' to anyone?" Eddie crouched in front of you, leveling himself so he could see you fully. "Why're you insistent on breakin' all the rules?"
You squirmed, the intensity of his gaze making you feel entirely too vulnerable, even in your nude state. "I dunno. I'm not doing it on purpose." You mumbled.
"Oh?" Eddie's voice lifted in surprise, brows raising to match his climbing tone. "'S that right? You didn't mean to go thirty miles over the limit? Down them back roads that I told you not to be speedin' on."
"I didn't-"
Eddie tsked, cutting you off with the shake of his head. He reached behind him, grabbing his thick leather belt, the gold buckle he'd won at a competition weeks earlier still shining on the front. Your heart skipped, breath stilling. His work belt was heavy, thick leather meant to endure buckling horses and lots of movement, and it packed a wallop when he'd use it on you.
To your surprise, Eddie took your wrists, sliding the belt through the buckle until your hands were tied tightly and secured with the leather. Eddie hooked your hands to the frame of the bed, the stretch in your shoulders a little uncomfortable.
"What did I tell you would happen if I caught you speedin' again, huh?" Eddie asked, fingertips skating back down your exposed skin while he disappeared behind you. "Did I not make myself clear the last time?"
"No, you did-" Your voice was whiny and high, teetering on a huff or a pout.
"So what exactly is the issue?" Eddie snapped, mean and gruff. Your thighs clenched, hips rubbing against the pillows. "I told you I was gonna bust your ass if you kept speedin' down those roads, didn't I?"
Your whimper in response was not enough for Eddie, his hand cracking down on the back of your thigh making you yelp. "Didn't I?" Eddie grit.
"Yes!" You cried out, hips bucking against the impact. "You did!"
"So why didn't you listen, huh? Didn't think I'd do it?" Eddie asked, you could feel him pick something up off the dresser, moving to the side of the bed. You didn't dare look over at him, you did know better than that.
"I-I just... I didn't mean to." You pouted.
"Didn't mean to?" Eddie scoffed. "Bullshit and you know it, baby. Lyin' is only gonna make it worse for you."
"'M not-"
Eddie's heavy hand cracked down on your bare cheeks, sending you recoiling at the sting, hips wiggling away from his heavy hand. "I don't want to hear another thing out of you unless I tell you, you hear me?" Eddie snapped, hand snaking through your hair, pulling you back at the scalp to bend you backwards to meet his gaze.
You nodded, lip jutting out in an emphasized pout. Sometimes it worked, got Eddie's heart melting and soft enough to go easy on you. In the least, he might go down on you afterwards if you looked sweet and sorry enough. Judging by the hard glare of his brown eyes, unmoving and unfiltered by your efforts, that wasn't going to happen tonight.
"Seventy-two in a forty-five." Eddie let you go with a slight push, leaving you bouncing forward into the mattress gently. "How much over is that?"
You huffed, thinking for a moment. "Twenty-seven." You muttered.
Eddie whistled, loud and dramatic, shaking his head in disapproval. "Twenty-seven." He annunciated every syllable, menacingly glaring down at you. "Now, you're tellin' me that was an accident?"
"It was-" You snarled, a loud groan pulling out of your chest when Eddie's hand fell heavily on your upturned ass again, leaving you grimacing and gripping against the belt.
"What'd I tell ya about that mouth, sugar?" Eddie growled lowly. "Only thing I wanna hear come outta that pretty little mouth, is you countin' out each of these licks, you understand me?"
You pouted, lips pressed together to contain your whine that threatened to spill out. You jumped slightly, heavy leather rubbing across the globes of your ass lightly, leaving you stilling at the realization. He'd gotten the strap. The dreaded strap he kept in his tack room, pinned up and mocking on the wall, blending in with the other leather equipment but reserved for you only. For when you really got out of line.
"Twenty-seven over, so I think twenty-seven hits are in order." Eddie hummed, running the strap over the globes of your ass. "I want you to count each one, loud, alright? None of that mumblin' or I'll start over." He warned with a cutting tone.
"You ready?" Eddie's voice softened, sweet and caring. It made your heart flutter behind caged ribs.
"'M ready." You nodded, pressing you cheek to the side of the duvet to look at him through thick lashes.
Eddie smiled at you, leaning over to peck your cheek sweetly. Eddie ran the strap over your ass, the heavy leather making you shiver with every glide. Eddie's heavy sigh fell out of his nose, a tell-tale sign he was about to begin. Your eyes squinted shut, hearing the whoosh! of the strap before it cracked down, white hot shocking pain searing your ass.
You gasped, breathless and strangled out of your chest, eyes popping open in a strained glare. Eddie sucked his teeth lightly, glaring sternly down at you. "O-One," You shuddered out.
Eddie nodded curtly, satisfied, before lifting the strap again. You moaned in pain, nails digging into the leather with the blow. He hit the same spot again, purposeful and heavy, leaving you blistering in uncomfortable heat. There was no reason you should be throbbing the way you were, clit pounding and screaming for relief as the vibrations from the strap tickled their way through your skin to your core.
"Two." You grunted, teeth barred. You wouldn't cry, not this early on, you convinced yourself, slow and controlled breaths to keep the burn in your chest down.
Eddie lifted the strap again, letting it snap against your already blossoming skin. "Three!" You squealed, barely catching your breath before it was falling down again. "Four!"
The burn from the strap could barely register before Eddie brought it down again, two more times, leaving you grappling and bucking against the pillows. He paused, letting the burn from the hits of the strap really settle in, that sizzling feelings that felt tight and warm settled into a low ache on the cushiony globes of your ass. Tears brimmed your waterline, and you sniffed them back hard, face rubbing into your arms to maintain your composure.
That didn't last long. By double digits, your voice was wobbling, tears leaking out of the corner of your eyes with every hit of the strap against you.
"Eighteen!" You whined, hips wiggling against the pillows. Eddie had already had to fix them once, a silent huff before placing you back on them, letting the strap rest heavy on the small of your back.
The smack! filled the room, leaving you gasping out fiercely. The breath tore through you with shock, choking you slightly from the impact as the sting settled in, the meat of your ass where your thighs met, a sensitive sit spot that now had been struck.
"Ow!" You howled, back arching in reverse to try and pull away.
Eddie's hand was quick, pressing into the small of your back to keep you in place. "What number was that, hm?" Eddie scolded you over your own labored breaths and whiny cries. "We need to start over?"
"N-Ninete-een." You shuddered out, shoulders heaving and shaking, body racked with sobs.
Eddie smiled contently before lifting the strap again. He brought it down lighter this time, enough to sting but not a punishing hit. Still, you sobbed and wiggled, sniffling out a number that was muffled under your arms.
"Twenty-seven!" You cried out before the strap actually fell onto your burning skin, the final blow that left you limp and smushed into the bed.
The patchwork blanket was wet underneath you, soaked with your own tears, snot, and drool. You were sure his pillows were soaked too with your own arousal. Your skin burned, ass ached and felt like it had doubled in size, yet your pussy throbbed. You could feel your own slick spend that had coated your inner thighs.
"Oh," Eddie cooed gently, fingers skating over your hot, buzzing skin. "You gonna be speedin' again?" He asked, tone light, a little teasing.
You shook your head, face still buried in the blanket to muffle your cries. "No? You promise?" Eddie's joints creaked when he crouched next to you, calloused hand petting your hair out of the way, a gentle coax to get you to look at him.
You nuzzled into his affection, wet cheek moving so it pressed into the palm of his hand, whimpering pathetically when he cradled you. "I won't speed anymore." You pouted, eyes glassy with tears. A hard sniffle followed that had Eddie grinning. "I promise, Ed."
"I know you won't." Eddie smiled, rough pad of his thumb swiping under your eyes. "You know you scare me when you speed down them roads, baby. Scares the hell outta me. Could hit someone, or a deer, or go to swerve and go right over, and-and... you can't do that to me, alright? My heart wants to give out even thinkin' about it darlin'."
"'M sorry." You mumbled. "I don't want to scare you. I'm sorry."
Eddie grinned, lips pressing against yours, tasting the salty tears that dripped down to coat those pillowy, soft lips he couldn't get enough of. "Mmm," Eddie moaned into the kiss. "Taste delicious, honey. My sweet, sweet girl." His eyes darkened, tongue swiping over his bottom lip.
"Bet I know somethin' else that tastes sweet too." He rasped, eyeing your lifted hips, ass glowing red and deep.
You blushed, clenching your thighs together. "What'd ya think? Can I have a little taste of her too?" Eddie nodded towards your propped lower half.
You nodded furiously, brainlessly, tummy flipping and squeezing with heat. "Please." You whined, nasally and high pitched, full of desperation but oh so sweet.
"Since you asked so kindly." Eddie winked at you, patting your thigh gently.
He was behind you, pulling the pillows and pushing your thighs to your chest, ass up and high in the air. Eddie gave no warning, he never did, licking a long stripe from your clit all that way to your puckered hole, groaning when he felt you gush and tense. He loved making you feel filthy like that, it always got you so wet.
Eddie pumped his fingers in and out of your sopping hole, tongue latching and suckling on your clit until your toes curled. You didn't even care that he was gripping your sensitive skin a little too harsh, the irritated burn with every pull of his hand only aided to your need, hips wiggling to press back into him.
"Fuck, sweetheart, taste so good." Eddie rasped, letting his forehead rest against your tailbone, inhaling your scent, pungent and tangy, deeply. God, he'd get it bottled up and wear it everyday if he could, your sweet nectar was an addiction to him, his weakness.
"Please, 'm so close." You huffed, eyes pinching close, rocking on your knees for some sort of friction.
Eddie gripped either side of your red cheeks, hot under his touch, pulling them apart to expose your tight, sopping hole before he truly suffocated himself into you. He was licking you furiously, bearded scruff scratching against your clit until you flooded him, leaving him covered and shining in your own spend.
Eddie didn't dare wipe it off, no way. He wanted to be covered in you, feel your release all over him as long as he wanted. His cock was throbbing, uncomfortably and painfully behind the cruel zipper of his wranglers. He didn't even bother taking them all the way off, growing frustrated when they caught around his ankles.
Eddie's boot on the bed, heavy and dirty next to you, the other spread and bent so he could drill you, fuck you hard and deep, hands in a bruising grip on your hips. You were sure he was just using your body to fuck himself, picking you up and angling you so differently until he found the spot he was looking for, that sensitive spot that left you crying out and soaking his cock.
It wasn't twenty minutes later that you had collapsed, sprawled on the bed, Eddie's own release dribbling and coating your abused skin, body still shaking with the aftershocks of the orgasm. Eddie smoked his Spirits, your head curled onto his chest, curls matted to his neck and hair weighed down by the hat. His boots kicked off, jeans long gone, still laying over the covers, long legs avoiding the wet spot you'd left behind. He knew he'd have to clean that later.
"I tell ya." Eddie exhaled slowly, the cloud of smoke following him. "For such a bad girl, you've got the best pussy in the world. Ain't that a shame."
"Gotta have something." You giggled breathlessly, lids heavy and mind foggy.
"You got more than that." Eddie nodded down at you. "You're perfect, baby. Well, almost perfect, you just speed." He gave you a pointed glare, nose pressing against yours.
You laughed, swatting him away gently. "I just like to go fast, what can I say?" You shrugged gently.
"Thought once you started hangin' around me, you'd realize," Eddie paused, looking down at you, puddle eyes starry and shining into you. "Takin' it slow is the thing to do, darlin'. There's no need to rush. 'M not goin' anywhere, and neither are you, alright? So slow it down."
You blushed, moving so your cheek was pressed into his inked pec, nuzzling into the pale skin sweetly. "I'll go slower." You hummed. "For you, and you only."
Eddie's dimpled grin was a true prize, leaving you blushing and dizzy under his loving gaze. "That's all I ask, darlin'." He rasped, lips pressing to yours sweetly. "You speed again, and I'm gonna hide your keys. Make you start driving the Wagon."
'The Wagon' was an ancient station wagon from the fifties. His mother's old car that Eddie couldn't bare to get rid of. Good for cruising because of the low speed it would go, bad for racing because of that.
You groaned, rolling your eyes. "Don't you dare." You jested lightly. "I'll take a horse."
Eddie snorted. "You can't even mount a horse, properly." He eyed you knowingly.
You shrugged. "I'm sure I can figure it out. Mount you just fine, and you told me you're a stallion." You giggled.
Eddie blushed, shaking his head. "I think you told me that." He poked your side gently. "I just agreed with ya."
"You always do." You purred, nails running down the soft skin of his tummy, toned and a little red from his days in the sun.
His happy trail was full again, leading down to the magnificent bunch of hair on his pelvis. Oh, you loved it when Eddie would go stag under his jeans, unbuckle that top button and only his bush showed. It made you drop to your knees every time, that's why he did it.
Eddie sighed, arm curling to pull you closer to him. "Yeah, can't argue with ya too much. Love ya too much, you little wildcat." He pressed a kiss to your hair line, nicotine drenched lips trailing down your temple lightly, smothering you in warmth. "'S why I worry about ya, ya know?"
"I know." You beamed, hugging him tightly, burying yourself in his scent, spicy and a little bitter from the sweat of the day. You didn't mind because it was Eddie, completely him.
"I gotta go to traffic school." You pouted, hooking your chin over his pec to look up at him.
Eddie snorted. "Good. You better pass, too, or I'll bring out the strap again."
"Don't you dare." Your eyes widened at him, reaching back to rub your sore skin. You both knew you didn't mean it, loved the way he was mean to you too much to truly mean it.
Eddie laughed, bumming his cigarette out on the tray before pulling you closer to him, arms wrapped around your frame like heavy weights. "Think I need a minute before I get up." Eddie muttered, heavy lids pulling shut. "Just a second 'fore I go feed the horses."

"Can you get that, sweet thing?" Eddie asks, screwdriver in hand, hunched over the little set of drawers that he was assembling, tongue poked out in concentration.
You'd been happily watching him build all morning, a warm and light feeling buzzing through your body. You grinned cheekily to yourself when Eddie slipped on a pair of reading glasses before he had started. He looked over them at you, peering over the black frames with an exaggerated stare, pointing a warning finger playfully in your direction.
"Not a word. Understand, missy?" His tone was stern, playful, pulling a string of giggles from your chest. Your cheeks flush at his tone, tipping your head to the side to admire him. The way the veins in his hand protruded when he tightened something with the screwdriver, his tongue poking out in concentration.
Eddie had just established the base of the drawers when there was a knock at the door. You stood, setting down your mug on the coffee table. "Should be Brielle. She's always forgettin' her key." Eddie sighed, a firm eye roll.
You opened the door, ready to see the girl who resembled your boyfriend so much- same eyes, dimples, cheeks. She'd been at her mom's all weekend, and you were happy to have her back, now that things were better with you two. You smiled widely, eyes lighting up, a welcome on the tip of your tongue.
Instead, you were greeted with a pair of piercing eyes, narrowed at you from the moment you opened the door, unfamiliar and challenging.
You blinked, looking at the woman in front of you, jarred and a little frightened. You knew her, how could you not? Gina, Eddie's ex-wife, Brielle's mother. You’d seen the photos- maybe, done a stalk on Facebook with your best friend.
Gina's lips twisted, a scoff falling from them that had you stepping back in the doorway. "I'll be goddammed." She said every word slowly, dripped in venom. Your heart hammered, eyes wide, caught, scared.
Brielle squirmed, eyes sympathetically meeting yours. She was uncomfortable, intimidated too, though you weren’t really sure why. "Mom, I'm here now. You can go back in the car-"
"Nuh-uh." Gina snapped, eyes never leaving yours. You felt exposed under her gaze, vulnerable, wrapping your arms around your middle protectively. "I wanna meet the new girl your dad has you hangin' around. Make sure she's not being a bad influence on my baby." Her words were nearly mocking, your hand gripping the door in a white knuckled grasp.
Eddie's heavy footsteps appeared behind you, shoulders falling when he saw Gina. "For fuckssake, Gina..." He sighed, annoyed, exasperated, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Well, hello to you, too, Edward." Gina spat the name like it was a bad taste in her mouth, lips curling into a snarl. Her teeth barred, like a predator to prey- amused. This was a game to her. One she was very good at, apparently.
"The fuck are you doin', huh?" Eddie threw his arm out, looking down at Gina, standing at his full height. "You don't have better things to do?"
Gina laughed, humorless, eyes rolling. "Not when it comes to our child." Gina snapped. She paused, lips pursing, icy eyes sliding over your frame, sending shivers down your spine. "Sorry, I guess I should say our daughter, looks like you have another child in your life."
Your heart dropped, stammering lightly. Gina gave you a smug, challenging look. Brielle looked down, shifting on her feet. "Mom, can you stop? It's embarrassing-"
"Oh, I'm embarrassing?" Gina snapped, looking at her daughter. Brielle recoiled slightly, shrinking under her gaze. "But your father prancing around with jail bait isn't-"
"Alright, Gina, that's enough." Eddie growled, stepping in front of you. They glared at each other, so angry, full of hatred. "You wanna say some shit to me? Fine, but leave her out of this. And have some decency to not do this in front of Brie." He bit, glaring down the slope of his nose at her.
Gina gasped, loud and accusatory. "Don't you dare, Eddie, don't you even fuckin' dare." She pointed a long, manicured nail at him, jabbing it at him. "Don't pull the bad mom card on me when you're dating someone the same age as Brielle!"
"She is not the same age, Gina, what the fuck-"
"Sweetheart," Gina turned to you, the pet name Eddie usually adorned to you was covered in malice, making your blood run cold. "How old are you?" She mocked you, spoke to you like you were a child- like you spoke to your kids at school.
"Twenty-s-six." You stammered dumbly, heart pounding in your ears. It was nine in the morning, you weren't exactly prepared to be berated and harassed like this, this early.
Gina's lips pressed together, eyebrows shooting up. She scoffed, loud and derisive. "Twenty-six?" She repeated, each syllable rolling off her tongue furiously, looking at Eddie with a glare so cold it made you shiver.
"So, when I had Brielle, you were what? Nine, ten?" She laughed, but she wasn't amused. It was a mean girl mocking laugh, one that took you back to days in middle school in the locker room at gym. "And Eddie, what were you doing then? Twenty-six years ago? Oh, that's right, you were still selling weed to high-school kids to support the baby-"
"Gina, I'm not doing this shit with you." Eddie seethed, jaw set and eyes hard. He glared at her, eyes flicking over to Brielle, who shrunk into herself, eyes on the steps. You could see the guilt wash over Eddie, jaw ticking and eyes softening. "Get in here, baby girl. I'll be just a second." He guided Brielle in, hand protectively on the back of her head, giving you a small nod before shutting the door.
You and Brielle stood in the doorway, not moving, eyes glued on the wooden door. Your heart was hammering in your throat, stopping and speeding when you would hear the muffled words and screams from the other side. A rollercoaster of emotions, tummy dropping and turning, twisting and seeking further and further into your nerves.
"She's a fuckin' child, Ed!"
"Gina, are you out of your fuckin' mind? She's an adult, a teacher. A really great teacher-"
"Probably because she's the same age as them! They have so much in common!"
"Oh, fuck off, Gina. Aren't you married? Why the fuck do you care?"
"I don't want someone like that around my daughter! What kind of example is this? Whoring herself with some old guy!"
"She is not-"
"-How would you feel if Brie was doing this, huh? Fucking around with a guy twice her age?"
Your stomach dropped when Eddie didn't reply. You felt the color drain, feeling sick to your stomach. Brielle looked at you carefully, fingers twisting around her overnight bag, wringing them nervously.
"That's what I thought." Gina's voice was firm, smug. "I don't know what you're going through, Eddie, but this is a lot. Even for you."
"Get the fuck outta my house, Gina." Eddie growled, heavy footsteps moving towards the door. You could hear her muffled, biting response, mean and biting even through the door.
You stepped back just as Eddie threw the door open, eyes furious and blazing. He ran a hand over his scruff, free hand balled by his side. He looked at you, eyes drooping gently- tired, defeated.
"'M gonna go outside." Eddie growled, stomping towards the back door. "Need a minute." His hand ran over Brie’s shoulder, comfortingly- an apology.
You flinched when Eddie slammed the door, shaking the house. Brielle looked at you, eyes wide and cautious, embarrassed. "They... They do this all the time." She offered softly. You didn't reply, eyes still glued on the back door.
"I'm sorry..." Brielle said softly. You looked over at her. "For what my mom said." She added, rubbing her arms awkwardly. "She can be like that sometimes. Don't take it personally."
You nodded, tongue feeling thick and constricted in your mouth.
Brielle hesitated, looking from you back to the window where a stream of smoke could be seen. Eddie. She lifted her bag gently, moving down the hall to her room. You didn't move, you couldn't.
Gina's words hurt you. It made your head rattle with insecurities and racing thoughts, self doubt and humbled truths. Eddie's reaction- or lack thereof- to her final accusation had your stomach twisting, knotting. Why did it hurt you so bad? Was Eddie embarrassed of you?
Eddie came in from the backdoor, shoulders still tense but eyes softened, nicotine induced relaxation. "I'm sorry about that, bunny. She can be a real-" Eddie stopped, looking at you in the doorway.
You didn't move, stilling even at his voice, zoned on the wall in front of you. Eddie called your name softly, hands raised in a slow approach, like you were a frightened animal that might scatter. His brows furrowed, lips pulling into a soft frown.
Your eyes met his, lip trembling gently. Eddie's face softened. "Baby, what's wrong?" He cooed, stepping towards you so he could rub his hands down your arms. "Don't let her upset you, ok? She just said all of that because wants you to be upset-"
"You didn't answer her." Your eyes flashed at him. His forehead creased in confusion. "When she said that about Brie, you didn't reply."
Eddie exhaled, tired, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Yeah, because I'm not arguing with her. It's pointless." He huffed. "All it does is make my blood pressure go up, and she just starts saying crazy shit. She thrives off that kinda attention, and it just gets worse when you give it to her. Trust me, baby." He muttered, eyes pinching shut at the thought. This was routine, a painful routine he was far too used to.
You huffed, crossing your arms, stepping out of his grasp, anger bristling in your chest. "You answered her every other time, Ed." You bit, jaw clenching to keep your tears from falling.
Eddie threw his hands up. "What do you want me to say here? I wasn't gettin' into that with her-"
"Because you think she's right." You challenged him, brows raised in suspicion. "You think there's something wrong with this? With us?"
"No, fuck," Eddie growled, vein in his neck protruding, angry and prominent against his flushed skin. "I don't think there's anything wrong with us, ok? I wouldn't be doin' this if I did-"
"Then why didn't you say anything?" You shrieked, throwing your hands out. "You made it look like you thought that!" Your heart hammered in your chest, defensive and angry.
Eddie's eyes bulged, head jutting forward. "Why? I wasn't lettin' her use my daughter against me like that ok? It's fucked up, and she knows what she's doin'! She knows it'll piss me off, and I'll fight with her the way she wants, and I'm not doin' that!" He boomed, voice bouncing off the walls, echoing into your ears.
Your eyes cut down the hall towards Brielle's room. Eddie huffed, shaking his head. You stood in silence, Eddie shaking his head, exhaling a short huff of air.
"I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry I didn't say anything to her, I just-" Eddie stopped himself. "I was done. Done letting her say shit to you, to me, and she always drags Brie into the middle of it to try and make me feel bad or-or fight with her more."
You looked down at your feet. "I'm sorry." You muttered.
Eddie shook his head. "You don't have nothin' to be sorry for-"
"No, I'm sorry." You said sincerely, eyes lifting to him. "I'm sorry she does that to you. 'S not right."
Eddie's face softened, lines smoothing when you grabbed his hand, holding it gently, pressing kisses into his palm. "I don't think there's anything wrong with us. I was just scared...you did."
Eddie gave a lopsided smile, pulling you into him by your waist. "Nuh-uh," Eddie smirked, lips moving to your cheek, soft feathery kisses pressing against your skin.
"Just like a pretty little thing like you to keep me young." He teased, large hands giving your ass a firm squeeze, smiling as you squealed into his ear. "Nothin' wrong with that."
You smiled, moving his curly tendrils out of his face. He kissed you fully, lips sliding over yours in a passionate kiss that had your cheeks heating. "Don't listen to her, alright?" Eddie muttered against your lips.
You nod, looking over your shoulder, face falling when you look at Brielle's door. Eddie followed your gaze, shoulders dropping. "Was she upset?" He asked.
You shrugged lightly. "She said she did it all the time... Apologized to me for what she said." You muttered.
Eddie cringed gently, air exhaling out his mouth in a loud sigh. "'M just gonna go check on her." He said, eyes softening to look at you. "See where the hell she wants these drawers too." He huffed, motioning to the unfinished project in the living room.
You grinned, smacking his ass playfully in his sweatpants. "Go check on her." You teased, winking at him.Eddie raised his brows, grinning before pointing at you. "You better watch yourself, little girl." He purred, smirking at your blistering flush.
