He would be a bit suprised at first if a fan came up to him, I think he is very humble about being a boxer under the W.B.V.A

He would treat child fans very sweetly, would answer ANY questions they have.

Its the same with adults, once coming out of his shell he might have a laugh and a little conversation with fans. He is just a nice guy from France, what can I say.

I think Joe would be very humble and would be very flattered (and a little bit shy) if a fan wanted to take a photo with him or give him a gift

A bit quiet, would probably just answer whatever questions they have and go because he is just akward like that😭

If your an adult fan, he will be friendly mabye show face might engage in convo before just shutting down to await if there is anything else you want

If its a child however, he would be SO nice and Kaiser would definitely feel abit emotional if they say he is an idol or role model to them.

Would get abit shy if you wanted to take photos, but he would hate to make a fan (especially a child one) upset so he would cave and take one.

Disco kid:

Would be so excited! He loves talking to fans and is super friendly, he might even have a little dance with them

He treats his fans like his best friends, gets super giddy when meeting one's he doesnt recognise (yes, he makes the effort to remember fans)

If its a child fan you know he would crouch down to their height and give them a fist bump

LOVES photos, might even mess around and pose with fans!

King hippo:

Bro is flabbergasted.

He doesnt exactly know what fans are, so like Disco he just treats them as friends!

was worried that his appearence might scare fans especially children, but was suprised to find that most of then thought he was like a super hero or smth-

Enjoys taking photos, it makes him feel abit less lonely after being away from hippo island for so long (he does have tk crouch down though bless)

Piston Hondo:

Very polite and very straight foreward. He doesnt mean it though he is just unsure of what to do when meeting fans😭

As I said he is VERY polite, with older fans he might be more of a listener and say a couple of words here and there

With younger fans he might speak a bit more, however again he doesnt want tk do any thing which might accidentally offend them

I mentioned before in an old headcanon post somewhere that he gets alot of keychains from fans! Hondo will happily accept gifts from fans rather than photos since after matches he looks a bit rough-

Bear hugger:

Bro IS the fan, the actual fans are the celebrity here. He gets very 'star struck'

He doesnt really understand the line between fan and friend, he treats all his fans like his besties

He would get so excited to meet fans across all ages, he likes meeting new people and finds it sweet that he is their favourite! He defo drops animal facts as well.

If he was asked to take a photo he would be abit akward at first, but would quickly relax (the photos with him are the funnest)

Great tiger:

Would be pleasantly suprised if a fan came up to him, he would feel like an absolute celeb (well mate you kinda are-)

Is very open and honest with fans, sometimes abit too honest especially with adult fans-

Often times its child fans that ask why he wears a turban and he is more than willing to explain why and what it means in his religion!

He would also get his clones invlolved in photos for funsies, they would just be posing on the back doing all sorts

Don flamenco:

LOVES IT when fans come up to him in public or before matches (especially when its NOT a random confession of love, it gets akward pretty fast-)

Doesnt really know what to do around children bless, he might say some words of encouragment before giving them a fist bump

Alot more relaxed around adult fans, finds it funny if they freak out when they see him, he would defo tease:

"IS THAT DON FLAMENCO" (fan btw idk what to make them say)

"omg where!!! Im a huge fan!!!"

Man is made for the cameras, he LOVES taking photos with fans. He actually likes the photo part more than the talking bit because sometimes he doesnt know what to say other than "aww, thank you for your support!"

Aran Ryan:

He doesnt realize how many fans he has, lets be real here is is one of the most disliked boxers because of his cheating stunts

Would appear cool on the outside, but inside he is lwk freaking out because he genuinely doesnt understand how he can be someones favourite bless

With adults, he gets a boost of confidence and asks to take photos for fun. With kids, he pulls a scary face and see how they react-

Might be taken a little of guard if someone wants to take a photo with him, It will DEFINITELY make him buzz for a whole week though.

Gets a lil confused whenever someone approaches him, but when he realises its a fan he immediately turns suprisingly friendly

Offers juice to adult fans, but doesnt to child fans hmm I wonder why🤨. He enjoys talking with fans! He is very curious.

Continuing on, he has to crouch down on his knees to hear shorter fans because of his height (bro is 6'6 like HELLO???)

I think he wouldnt really like taking photos before and after his matches idk I think he has a lil luck ritual that he doesnt have any photos with fans before a match

He has his eyes peeled for paparazzi so you KNOW his ass gets a bit pissed when he sees a fan bouncing over to him-

He cuts some slack for children though, he understands why they would be excited to meet him so he makes the effort to be nice

Probably pretty chill about fans coming up to him in public, he was the champ before Mac so yeah Quite quiet but very friendly, he is really calm when out of the ring and not focusing on boxing.

Unlike the others however, he will treat the fan more like an old friend instead of a bestie. He might ask questions like " what got you into boxing" and might drop some lore about the local area

Meeting child fans makes him a teensy tiny bit emotional, he is very humble about his boxing capabilities so hearing what a child fan has to say about him makes him feel pretty good.

Oh no photos. Well actually if he is in a good mood then yeah (which is rare since he is surrounded by boneheads 24/7)

So I spoke somewhat about my thoughts on Emanator Sampo here, but I never really thought of it from a design point of view or what kind of powers he would have until just recently. But I actually kind of love leaning into it from a "stage hand" perspective?

Because like. Aha's body in THEIR official art is completely black, giving attention to all the fun brightly colored things around THEM. And that's so fitting for Sampo! He usually prefers to be a side character. He likes to act from the shadows. His is a much more subtle hand.

So I wonder if as an Emanator, a lot of his clothes are actually very dark? Not necessarily plain, still extravagant and needlessly detailed in things like cut and quality with lots of different fabrics and textures and ornamentation, but dark. Or maybe even his skin itself becomes blackened further down his body; his hands in particular are dark, as a sort of sleight of hand reference.

The motif of a lot of straps wrapped around him like in his canon design is still present, but they're all loose and flowing off of him like paper streamers now instead of restraining him or holding him together. He is no longer contained! Or maybe they're still a bit more rigid/heavy, but just draped more like red stage curtains!

And this is like. Fully self-indulgent, but I love inhuman designs, and there's nothing in canon to say I can't do this, so screw it! Go for broke!! Maybe it's not visible to normal people, but Sampo having a second set of arms would be really cool, as further sleight of hand reference. One set is almost normal looking, but his hands are a bright, attention-drawing white, and the other is dark, set almost in the shadows of the first arms, to act less noticeably.

He also has something of a broken heart design to him in canon (the front of his black shirt with its jagged shape down the middle; his coat looks like a full heart shape in the back), and I actually like him keeping that element as an Emanator, because I think it suits him. Sampo says his taste in aesthetics and views on Elation involve human dignity,

and the story he helps create in Belobog involves the long and winding road of resistance and survival and eventual triumph in the face of some very adverse, oppressing odds. (I'm pretty sure I heard he once called Wildfire "artless" though, plus the man acts like he thinks Shame is some kind of dessert, so like ndkdjzjskkd) But the point being!!

I think Sampo is someone who can appreciate heartbreak and angst and tragedy in a story, because it makes the victory at the end all the sweeter. And this would be another thing he shares with Aha, because I think THEY did bless the Mourning Actors partly just to be a little shit, but also because Aha does recognize tragedy as part of THEIR Path, too, and you can see it in some of the game. So a broken heart motif can still suit him, and I like him having elements of both comedy and tragedy. Like his clothing having a happy sun/sad moon (like the moon in Aha's art) or him having both of the traditional comedy/tragedy masks in his design.

And as Emanator, Sampo can maybe play with the stage settings environment, too. Like lights sometimes behave strangely around him, appearing blindingly bright to someone or dramatically dark. Sampo wills it and suddenly there seems to be a metaphorical spotlight right where he wants everyone to look. And when he doesn't want to be noticed, his face seems to be cast in shadow, he seemingly just fades into the background, no one notices or recognizes him and he sneaks away easily. He can create smoke or fog literally out of thin air without his bombs now, too, the air will just suddenly thicken until his stage is obscured, and Sampo can set the scene as he pleases or disappear without a trace.

And in line with being a stage hand, Sampo can direct attention like no other. He was already extremely good at this as a normal mortal, and becoming an Emanator only took it up to 11, past human limits. Sampo points, and all present feel compelled to follow his fingertip. He looks away, and they all follow his gaze. He can even affect the mood of an audience; he can influence everyone to be calm and placid or he can whip them into a feverish frenzy. Sometimes a crowd will start to become unsettled, agitation stirring until it boils over, until it incites a full on violent mob.

And in the middle of all that chaos will stand one perfectly calm figure, face cast in shadow, until they quietly slip away out of sight.

Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.
