dinner time rolled around and jaemin was in charge of cooking the meat while everyone else helped out with all the other dishes, sitting by the fire listening to the boys talk about what is on their minds you slowly begin to drift off causing your body to lean onto renjuns arm, he notices this and gently moves your head into a comfortable position on his shoulder while his hands rake through you hair

jeno walks back to the group “ i got the marshmallows” he says excitedly, he sees the position you are in with renjun and his smile immediately disappears “ let me bring her upstairs i don’t want her to be sore in the morning from sleeping sitting up” jeno says

jeno begins to pick you up “ no i want to stay out here” you mumble, jeno sighs and begins to put you back down, renjun on the other hand can tell that jeno isn’t a fan of you sleeping on him “ jeno why don’t you bring her over to your seat” renjun suggests. jeno sets you down on his lap as he wraps his arms around you making sure you don’t slip

it was obvious that you and jeno were in love with each other, everyone knew it except the two of you, once the fire began to die the group headed inside getting ready for bed saying goodnight to eachother

“you wanna shower first or??” jeno asks

“ oh you can go first i don’t mind” you respond

as the water turns off you begin grabbing your shower supplies so you can get in after him, jeno opens the door with nothing but a towel around his waist, wet messy hair, water droplets dripping down his toned muscles

Some tips for anyone new to drawing a sick day scenario art. A few things that make it look convincing are the following:

Pajamas or Loungewear

Messy Bed Hair

Fever flushed face w sweat or at least a red nose

Tired Eye bags

Shivery body

Ice Pack or a Compress on the head

Thermometer sticking from their mouth

LOTS OF BLANKETS

Tissues or medicine surrounding them

Tea or Soup (or both)

Those are just to name some from the top of my head. If you'd like some pointers on how to make a character look ill, check out my Fever Coloring Guide. This is for digital artists but traditional artists can try it too!

You can add injury or angst to the scene but I'd like illness to be the main focus of it.

The scene can be anything you want to, it can be fluffy and wholesome (with a caretaker) it can be angsty, or it can be silly. Its all up to you! Do it for the sake of fluff! Caretaking scenes are the best for any kind of relationship >w<

Oh hi guys.

Crazy to think that it's now been ~a year and a half since my presence on here has only been occasional and not very substantial. I do check tumblr every now and then and get these bursts of oh, I should finish what was unfinished. But you know how it goes, life gets busy and for better or for worse, I just don't have the kind of time that I used to to dive in truly ridiculously deep with something like Glee, or any of my other fandoms.

Well, I say for better or for worse but I can honestly say to you guys that it's for the better. Life is good. It's different than it used to be and that change started two years ago now but yeah, it's good. The tuiyla who infrequently pops up here again to go "and another thing!" is not the same who would do all those in-depth analysis and spend countless hours on gifsets. And you know, much love to that tuiyla, honestly, and much love to all of you. I've been going down memory lane with some posts and interactions and I want you to know that I am grateful for the very active era that I had on here. It was, above all, fun, and not only did it get me through the pandemic but gave me such an outlet for the nerdiest of impulses and creative bursts. And all of you were truly so kind to me. Sure, there was the occasional fandom drama haha and anons wanting to stir shit but what's some pettiness to the outpouring of support in my dorky endeavors. People interacted with my projects and humored my many ramblings and I appreciate that. It's still a little crazy to me that people were so invested in what I had to say and engaged with it all.

I'm aware this is starting to sound like some kind of goodbye post and it's not, not really, but also I think I'd be foolish not to acknowledge that the era I'm describing is over. And that's okay, really. There are still things I wanna finish, one day, if I get a strong enough burst of motivation. There are several things that come to mind when I think of what my tumblr magnum opus would be, like Santana comphet part II or that bloodbending essay I've been sitting on for the better half of a decade, if not a full decade. We'll see. We'll see if I ever finish gif WIPs or touch the Glee singing database again. I'll fully admit that there are asks I will probably never get to and for that I'm truly sorry because it is an honour for people to want to know what my two cents on a given topic is. I'll be going through some old asks and see what I can realistically get to, not that I would expect anons from literal years ago to still be keeping an eye out for answers haha.

But to those who are reading this and recognize this silly username from a while back, can I just say, I wish you the best. I hope you're well. There are many, many users on here that I look back on with such fondness. So many anons made so many of my days with their kindness and thoughts and engagement. It really is something to come back to, even if briefly, even if rarely, even when life gets chaotic. In a good way, but chaotic nonetheless. Like, guys, I'm literally getting my first tattoo in two weeks and it does have to do with my username. Isn't that crazy? Not that I'm getting my url tattooed on my body, obviously, but Tui and La will soon be doing their eternal dance on my arm. Wild. And beyond that, I'm currently very grateful for the job that I have, that I started two years ago and changed the course of my life. I'm also soon maybe possibly starting a part-time job in teaching high schoolers, also very crazy. We'll see how that will go.

Full version of PFP + Header, information about the AU under the cut :D

This is just a lil thing for fun, it is serious but it's mostly just screwing around to see what sticks. I've been meaning to mess with an infection AU for a bit now, and MLP in general I used to love this show growing up and as someone who adores horror and silly zombie plots this is exactly up my alley thank you

This blog is mostly based around Rustbark Disease, which is the in-universe nickname for it, or Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae/Cedar Apple Rust. I love timber wolves, they're neat, and I haven't seen many people use them for one of these AUs just yet so I looked for some tree diseases and bonk, angry puppy. Also gave me an excuse to draw one with a birch body and weird elk-looking antlers, I love making a bunch of variants for things that do not need them. I'll probably make a post about timber wolf variants later on but for now: horror stuff!!

TWs for typical scaries below the cut, body horror, violence, it's based on a fungus disease so pretty much if The Last of Us freaks you out maybe don't, I suck at TWs I am sorry

Leave some room for speculation... also I don't want to burn out before I even get started lol. I do have St3 mostly drawn but aaagh I don't wanna draw this many of what feels like the same thing to my brain so.... haha.. I'll probably scrap it

It moves a bit slower and is a bit less dramatic than some I've seen, but in my defense I am a nerd who loves doing research and most diseases tend to move kinda slow in most cases. I personally feel like that's scarier, anyways. The slow, drawn-out takeover is great for horror.

The infection is based off of a few different things, color-coded for your convenience. Primarily, the real-life Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae, or cedar-apple rust is a big inspiration. The fungus is non-lethal to the plant and mostly affects the appearance, so, with it mainly being transmitted by Timber Wolves, I also felt it made sense to base it off of diseases like Rabies and, since I design Timber Wolves with ungulate-like antlers, Chronic Wasting Disease/CWD. In the final stage, the infected collapses and the body begins to rot, but the fungus and spores continue to prosper.

It is inspired by games like The Last of Us and perhaps some Dying Light, but is not by any means a direct copy of anything. I tried to avoid taking inspiration from other AUs because I simply wanted to go wild with my imagination, so from here on out any unintentional similarities are purely coincidence.

All ponies (except for Zecora) shown in this post are nameless ocs for the point of showing off the disease.

Non-canon entries have #Branch as a tag, as a silly little pun about trees and how it branches off from the main series, and designs I've made for the series are, of course, tagged #Design, as well as the character's name. omg inspiration for film is a greaaatttt question!!! i kinda want to explore that in main storyline now!!! i think when she was younger, she was a bit more of a quiet kid and was always the english teachers’ fave student bc she was really emotionally intelligent n had great vocabulary and in general a great eye for art n literature, so that academic praise kinda got her into writing stories n watching films, she studied a lot of old hollywood classics n from there she became really interested in film as a whole. i think it became a form of expression for her, since she had kind of a whacky childhood (will uncover more of this in later chaps) i like to think before she applied to college, she wanted to be an english major n become an english teacher but she knew deep down that film was what she really wanted to do and even though her family was reluctant, she went ahead n applied as a film major anyway (btw utokyo is hard to get into for film bc they only have a few spots for their program which is one of the best in the nation so i think she did well for herself :) it’s also why she wants to get into utokyo’s film masters specifically!!)

people say word of mouth has always been the best form of advertisement, but i think at this point we need to just rework the way we look at advertisements in general. i think word of mouth should be considered the /only/ form of advertisement, and our current ad media hellscape should not be considered advertisements at all, but rather astroturfing. like, the main goal of advertisements is to give off the /image/ that Everyone Loves The Product, either by having people you trust say positive things about it, or by simply having it be mentioned so often that you assume it Has to be good to have so many people talking about it. and yes, companies will claim that the goal of them is just to Neutrally Inform You Of The Product's Existence, but like. that excuse only works up to a certain point. most of these companies and their products are already household names, like. i already know oreos exist and come out with new flavors a lot, i dont need to be periodically reminded by ads because i. like. see them? in the store? when i am grocery shopping and looking at the products? like. when im getting ubereats ads that are someone getting a yeti delivered and then text saying "haha just kidding we dont deliver that, you already know what we do" then i think we've reached a point where the claim "ads are there to tell you what the product does" simply cannot hold water anymore, yknow? i know what uber does, you know what uber does, we all know what uber does, and uber knows we know what uber does and dont need to be reminded. and even worse, these companies know we dont like the ads!! they know and they admit it!!!!! ive gotten like five separate ads now where the joke is just

So, completely unrelated to TSAMS, there's this musical called Epic, right? Earth likes singing parts of it. Both me and Moongleam are big fans of it. Have been since the Thunder Saga, which yeah, pretty recent, but who cares? It's fun!

For those, who don't know what it's about, it's a retelling of the epic poem Odyssey, inspired by both video games and anime. And its songs are so catchy! Totally understand Earth why she sings it on occasion, because I do it too. So does Moongleam! I also listen to the musical whenever I travel somewhere, haha!

Either of us will just be minding their own business, or even while playing together, and all of a sudden, and completely unintentionally, one of us starts singing - most often, than not in a silly voice, cause why not? It's fun! - and the other joins in, unable to stop themselves. And it's starting to get ridicuolus and a little bit annoying!

Like, shut up, brain! Let me be for five hecking minutes without singing one specific line from one of the songs! P l e a s e And that fandom is also full of so many talented artists. Like, dam.

Other than the really fun and catchy songs, I also love the musical, cause I adore mythology :}

This next part of the yap session will be all about Moongleam's oldest TSAMS fic (that is still very much in the work in progress phase, because it is a very complex AU, because in has so many things going on). I have permission to talk about it.

The fic's title is For You, and has been mentioned already once or twice by both me and Moongleam herself.

The very base of it is a canon divergence, fix-it AU involving certain shenanigans. Some of those shenanigans very much include interacting with other dimensions, helping them with something and in return asking for help aswell. Scratch my back, I scratch yours type. Kinda.

And because like 95% of the cast is called the same things (Sun, Moon, Eclipse ect.) we had to come up with code names/aliases/nicknames, which the characters also use to refer to one another, because otherwise it would be chaos/would take too much time to figure out who is who.

These codenames are what I wanna talk about now, because I find them greatly amusing. As I mentioned, the people have codenames, but so do their dimensions, to further help tell who is who. It also helps us with talking about certain characters, who do not have codenames yet, or places.

One of these dimensions I already mentioned in an old post, back in June, talking about how its situation is highly amusingly similar to that of the dimension in canon, which appeared in the video "A Place Where It NEVER HAPPENED!!! in VRChat". The major difference being with this dimension compared to the one in the video, is that Earth is there, and her codename is Meadow, her Sun and Moon being called Daffodil and Waterfall respectively. Their dimension's name is Touch Grass, because we thought it would be funny, and it fit with their nature inspired names.

Sometimes it's the people's codenames that we think of first, like in the case of Meadow and her family. But some times it's the dimension's name we get. Like in the case of a dimension called Ghostbusters.

Sometimes we only have the people's codenames to refer to them by, like in case of The Big Baby and his family, and other times it's the dimension's name we come up wwith first, like in the case of the Fugitives, wo are now quite an old dimension, yet STILL lack codenames, while other much newer ones already have everything.

Most often the dimension's name is related to its people's names, like in the case of The Field, where its inhabitants are called Scarecrow, Crop, Raven, Crow, Farmer, Farmhand, Lamb, Shepherd and Magpie.

Other times, the dimensions get their names based off of their inhabitants' personalities, like in the case of Don't KYS PLS and Please Don't Steal Our Children. Or based off of their people's situation, like Survival Horror with its lovely people Nomad, Hunter, Tamagotchi, Mirage, Patient 0 and The Virus, or the Why Do The Gods Hate You? dimension :)

Most often the codenames are short and easy, like Peanut Butter, Jelly and Grape, and other times it's a bit more complicated of a word, like in the case of Parhelion, Paraselene and Capo Dei Capi.

At the beginning we did try to give people codenames, that fit with what they are different in compared to the main dimension, like in the case of Glam and Rock, wo are glamrock versions of Sun and Moon, Judgement and Punishment, who are responsible for judging and punishing (who would'a thought) people. Or based off of their personality, like Mischief and Trickery. But nowadays it's mostly random things, that still go together, so the dimension is cohesive, like Connector, Outlet, Electricity, Wire and Transmitter.

But most often the random words are food or food related things, like in the case of the Jam (/Berry) Gang, who're all called Something-Something-berry (Mulberry for example, because i love them.), or in the case of Butter and Milkshake who both come from the Insert South Park Reference dimension.

Otherwise I got reminded about what I fucking hate the most when one makes bread at home, went shopping and got handed a shopping list which's first item was orange the colour, so I had to figure out what in the fuck that mean, I bought my first pair of high heels ever which I can use to ruin even more of my joints, Fantasized about writing, had even more joking insults thrown at me because of my height, and I didn't even do any of the stuff I was supposed to. So yeah, I was chillin today and thinking about writing. Because I was occupied for almost the entirety of the day, so I couldn't sit down, and I ain't sure anythin that was quality could have come out of it anyway. I'm still not at 100%. - jay still sleeps with his plushies so when they cuddle jay is spooning his plush and cole is spooning him and sometimes cole lays on jays chest

- they playfight and wrestle a lot and sometimes get seriously hurt while doing it

I just wanna have a little natter about hosegate because its beloved for me in this fandom, one of the first things i really fought tooth and nail for, because to me it was fun and actually made me laugh but also giggle and go 'Oop!' when i watched. also my art background means i am aware of historic phallic imagery, and while i can appreciate that many people wouldnt know about that per se, i didnt expect anyone to outright denounce it. if someone told me 'thats actually meant to be a penis' i would laugh and immediately prefer that to whatever it was before hahahaha. plus people have dirty minds, especially young people, its fun and i've never seen anyone say 'stop' unless its a teacher, so i was confused about why people didnt want hosegate to be real. but also, you know that basically every skyscraper is a phallic symbol, right? men have been competing to build the biggest building since time immemorial. there's even a joke about this in shrek of all movies. 'do you think he's compensating for something?'

so yeah i loved that shot, and while i wasn't exactly scouring the show for easter eggs on my first watch, i definitely dropped down to a lower fuzzy brain state while watching the back end of s4. i was so overwhelmed by everything going on that my brain kind of lost track of the big A plot and settled into this dreaming/waking feeling, and i started taking in the minor things instead of the Big Things. Hence, picking up on the hose scene, mainly because that shot of mike is incriminating AF. you don't even need the metaphor of will turning mike on (though it works well considering the specific shape of the tap itself, very penis + testes-like, could have been any other kind off tap but no?) - i think it works well enough to simply suggest that will is sexually attracted to mike. will has been in love all season but this shot cements his physical attraction to mike: the shot is from will's pov; mike is essentially standing there holding his dick in his hand and will is ogling him, seeing him in a new light, and we the audience have a front row ticket to Kneeling In Front Of Mike Wheeler, where will wishes he was. Could easily have shot mike as if from will's pov, that too would have looked sus, although much more like standing next to a dude at a urinal. this shot, as is, is... wild actually. because somehow we're on our knees inside the freezer. VERY specific sequence.

and what's not to love? love me a phallic symbol haha. it's a powerful thing in art.

so yeah, will is in love and sexually attracted to mike. this itself is revelatory for s4, narrative-wise. loved loved loved it. and i think we will get mike's pov version of being attracted to will in s5 with all his other reveals, but i'm happy with hosegate being just for our boy Will.

ALL OF THIS! Hosegate is only a gate because people argued about it because some babies managed to watch the show and decided sex is bad. Boo. "I don't believe in hosegate" pedantic, but a gate is a gate in this fandom as lore/theoretical debate or fandom prominence. The scene literally happened! Fighting over it being or not being a sexual reference is the thing, but that's so boring - it just is. Being uncomfortable with that is a personal issue. Take some self reflection!

Anyway, being silly 😊 The Reference as I'll call it. Though there are many in the show (the way Will holds the painting in the van, the drill in shop class, etc.) It's very much about Will as much as Mike, I skipped over that part which you've detailed wonderfully. It's so sad the things people want to ignore to satisfy their agenda of personal discomfort with themselves - it's a show about teenagers but done through quite the intriguing lens of the literal horrors as actual horror. But it's about puberty and coming of age and sexual discovery. Especially for Will. To a point, blatantly about Will. The Reference is very much about his attraction to Mike.

He's a gay teenage boy. I forget the statistic, but some insane figure of how often sex or topics about sex flash through the mind of a teenage boy? It's wild. It's true. Hormones are insane. So of course The Reference is gonna happen, he's probably thinking it! Can we imagine for a second the agony this boy was in, besides all the other stuff going on, with Will already being kind of bottled up and uptight in guarded personality, tye the subject of his love and lust is back in his life, in the flesh, right there. He can touch him, see him, smell him. Will must have been going out of his mind internally. Mike Mike Mike.

All of that to say - love is good, great, important. The future for Byler is going to be about love. But... it's also gotta have the physical angle. That's the determining, differential angle. There's passion and arousal built into their feeling for each other. Something you can see with every other couple in the show, gay or straight. Chemistry. Desire. Attraction. As Steve rightly put it - sexual electricity 😉

Day 4: Pride i wrote it on his shirt instead of the black text in the bg like I've done for the past days, since the space is surprisingly occupied Okay so i kinda went crazy with this one... If you wanna read my decisions and thoughts behind this thing feel free to read below the cut !

Anyways, Pride. Bon. Where the hell do i start. I see Bon as a very proud person, at least proud of his craft, at what he excels at, which is playing guitar. SO. Why is he so many colors and shit? Hes the colors of the people closest to him. Friends. Malva/Usagi is the blue, Mangle/Meg is the pink, Toddy's the red, Joys yellow, and Bonnie's purple. All the different colors and expressions represent what they sorta do to Bon? How they affect and influence him n shit... All with his pride at the center of it. Malva/Usagi. Shes his sister, his twin. They are directly compared what feels like constantly to Bon. He's specifically in his school uniform because school is where they show their true personalities most. Where they differ the most. Malva is organized, in control, plans thing out, is a natural leader, book smart. She's always 'on top of it' and mature. All things he feels he lacks/inst enough of. A point of shame and envy within him, at least in comparison to her. Same situation and she can somehow 'handle it all better'. Whether that's all true is a different matter lol. perception and reality am i right? Anyways onto Joy. Yellow. All the toys boost each-others egos and shit, but where Bon and Mangle are comfortable being brutally honest and blunt, but giving genuine compliments is sorta few and sparse, laced in their silly stupid sarcasm and fake hatred of each-other. Joy just says what she wants straight up. If the others are going off, she'll say it, if they're blowing it, she's gonna say it straight up. Shes always energized, and imbues the other two with that same energy. For Bon, Joy is someone who pushes that cocky side of him further out. Full of himself, thinking he's hot shit. (I mean thinking that isn't completely undeserved, hes impressive for his age n shit, but kid has an ego is hat I'm saying lol) She brings out his fiercer energy. She gasses him up, inflates his ego, and his pride gets the better of him and can turn kinda shitty and egotistical and mean ect ect Mangle/ Meg, lol. haha stupid stupid stupid decisions. They are both. very proud of their craft and Mangle is someone who has peen put through and continues dealing with a lot of pain. He pushes through it though. She pushes through her pain, through their days, through everything that's handed to him because she's determined to get through shit and not let things like constant aches and loss of balance hinder him. They'll do what they want and it doesn't matter what hurts. Bon. Was already a dumb-ass with that sorta mentality, but alongside mangle they both push each-others pride to being a detriment to their own health and safety. lol

Toddy. Toddy, Toddy, Toddy. Longtime family friend, has known that blue rabbit family since. ever. okay? Okay. She knows. She just knows what the fuck is up with their house and situation, she's seen Bon at his worst and helped him. Moments he'd rather not be aided, moments he'd rather not be seen. Moments of shame. Along with that shame of being seen, comes the discomfort and shame of being known. They know each other, they do, yet they feel like strangers at the same time. They can hang out and have fun, but they don't click in the same way Bon clicks with the Toys. There's a seed of shame in Bon that he cant be the good friend Toddy wants and needs. The friend she feels she had. The friend she feels she lost somewhere. Bonnie. Bonnie. End of sentence I cant do this anymore I cant fucking tackle that one i cant do it you cant make me- Okay what if you someone really pissed you off. Like super pissed you the fuck off. You have this one thing you're really good at, you have this one thing you you are GREAT at, you consider yourself unmatched. Then you get matched. Then you aren't an untouchable god at your craft. You're tumble down from your pedestal, you ego is more bruised than you can admit. Then he bugs you cause he think you're cool and can teach him shit. Even though you feel like you totally lost just by being matched, and part of you hates it cause he's a walking reminder that you aren't untouchable. but part of you likes it because someones fucking gawking at you and looking at you with admiration, directly. SO you fucking cave and do it and whoops oh shit you kinda vibe with this guy. Shit he likes Zelda. shit hes letting you use is switch cause you mentioned never having played any of the Zelda games even tho you've both been passionately ranting about the games for a while now. You became friends with the guy who irritates you good job doofus. Goodluck with the weird mix of friendship and resentment idiot.
