LOL, i’m terrible with reviews bc i either complain or just go, “it was really good :)” LMAOOO (which is honestly the reason why i try not to talk about stuff i read or watch on here; wicked was an exception bc i had a) literally just come home from the theatre and needed to let it out and b) while i did like it i was just kinda flabbergasted by the… direction, i guess??? admittedly i don’t know much about making movies, so idk who’s to blame for the problems i had with it, but i wanna blame the director LOL).

i haven’t seen many k-dramas. 🥺 my bestie enjoys them, but i don’t watch that much TV to begin with, so you (and bestie; i will nag her) will have to recommend some!! 🥹 saying that, the other week bestie #2 (her husband) recommended moving to me—the kids with the superpowers? i’ve only seen one episode so far but really liked it!! i’ve been meaning to watch the rest. 😌 oh, actually, you know what i started but haven’t finished? see you in my 19th life. i should finish that. 🧐 i think i stopped bc i was like “this is sad 🥺” LOL, and maybe there was a vague thought about co-opting the premise for a fic. 🧐 LMAO.

have you ever watched the good place? it’s one of my favourite series. 🥹 really gentle and funny and made me ugly cry LMAOO. i’m excited to start the creator’s newest show—man on the inside, about the old guy who goes undercover at a retirement home? it looks really fun! as long as we’re talking about things readily available on netflix, the last show i binged (beyond the fallout series, which was good! fun! i haven’t played the games beyond shelter tho LOL) is one day. i really liked one day—but the book is like, one of my all time favourite books, and has been for years. 🥺 i thought some of the changes the show made were interesting yet like—completely understandable. i won’t go into them bc of spoilers, but i do think the show like, smoothed over and romanticised a couple of things, which…. maybe ultimately were for the better? 🧐 idk, i think it depends on how you’re reading (what they change) in the book, like, maybe some of the original moments or character portrayals were a little misognistic, —but then by fundamentally changing that, they then change the characters and that contributes to like, the romanticisation of the piece in general? 🧐 idkkkkkkk, many thoughts LOL. i highly recommend the series, but be warned it is a hard emotional slog LOL. binging it is perhaps… not the best idea LMAOOO.

i haven’t really seen any romance movies lately. 🧐 i can only recommend one of my all-time favourites, which is you’ve got mail. 🥹 it’s very charming, and makes me want to own a bookshop LOL. without the whole, arch-nemesis-being-a-billionaire-chain-store-owner-guy thing, LOL. nora ephron’s stuff is very good in general though, very gentle, despite every character in her stories being kinda neurotic LOL.
