#not him losing literally everything#‘is this how it ends…?’#‘as a man without an identity’#can’t get money from the bank can’t buy a new suit after that one got all torn in a fight#can’t even get into the Avengers mansion#and of course he doesn’t have his armor anymore#so he’s entirely lost his Iron Man identity and that safeguard for his chestplate#I think this really highlights how Tony is reliant on his wealth not just to mantain his superhero life#but just to stay alive period#nearly arrested after having to resort to stealing some charge from a car battery#last time he went into hiding I believe he went to Pepper’s apartment#but of course it’s not like he can’t contact her or Happy or Janice Cord#cause the life model decoy has warned everyone that’s someone trying to impersonate him#reading all this has me wondering if this is a concept that got used again later in Iron Man’s comics#like I could see a ‘Tony gets his identity stolen’ story fitting even in a later era’s style#and it seems well-suited to explore this character#marvel#tony stark#my posts#comic panels
