Something I drew a while back because I saw fan art of the Disney villains and wanted to draw the TWST characters in those outfits. I made a few changes to make it the overblotters and I gave Azul legs lol. I can’t find the reference I used for riddle and Jamil sadly cause I had to add them on. It’s kinda bad And definitely not finished but I’m actually happy with it for once. It was way out of my comfort zone LMAO

Idia being autistic in Harveston Sledathon Event

I am endlessly fascinated by Idia as a character being extremely autistic, and how that plays into interactions and story.

First, the special interest plus infodumps abt said interests:

Idia struggles to communicate unless his special interest is mentioned, which in this case is Sled Over Heels. This is SUPER relatable. Autistic ppl may struggle with small talk unless its involving our special interest, resulting in infodumps that surprise nt folks.

Later on, we get references to food sensitivity:

Idia prefers his fruit to be a certain way, suggesting he struggles with taste or texture.

Aac device:

I'm not sure what else you could call his tablet. Idia uses it frequently, often when he's overwhelmed. Sebek is a loud, intense guy, which probably means Idia has a harder time communicating with him.

Later on, during the welcome party, we see Idia struggle with social anxiety, as well as an aversion to noise and crowds:

He then goes into a corner to escape the crowd and noise, unable to enjoy himself because of this. He's been thrust into something he didn't plan for, which can have a disastrous effect on auristic ppl.

Everyone else is confused by his behavior, since it implies that he's ungrateful for the kindness the Harveston people have given him.

Later on Epel tries to help Idia by asking if he's cold, which is not the issue. He's using his tablet, which shows that he's become overwhelmed and possibly dealing with a verbal shutdown. The party came "out of nowhere" and it caused him to struggle.

While Idia struggled a bit during the trip, it was really cool to see him getting excited about his special interest! It was also relatable to see how the other characters are just sort of confused by his passion for Sled Over Heels. I have had that happen to me countless times.

I enjoy seeing Idia as an autistic coded character because he feels realistic. While his special interest in tech makes him skilled, he has a lot of interests that are more "pointless," which is neat! His autism seems like it legitimately is a disability for him, and we see him deal with it without being infantilized. Idk i just love him

Turns out I lied and I'm back with another ask

It's an entirely different scenario and requires much less explaining, I feel like I should mention I put my last ask in a word counter and I managed to rack up 2.449 words which is something for a Tumblr ask, a new record too, the first lighthouse ask was just above 1000

So, I've mentioned food from my childhood that haunt me to this day before in the form of Raw Fish Onion Sandwich, but I'm getting into another one that I want to inflict on Vil

Also, fucking wild that we're only one hour apart time wise right now, I googled it when you mentioned what time zone you're normally in and usually I've got a solid seven hours on you

But back to the dish, I recently remembered this monstrosity when someone brought it up, crumb noodles with fruit

I googled the translation and those images don't do it justice so if you want a picture of what I mean google "Bröselnudeln mit Obst"

So just noodles mixed with bread crumbs with like baked canned fruit on top, it tastes bad and the texture is a nightmare, the noodles are somehow dry despite having the fruit juice on them and the bread crumbs rub against your tounge weird, it's Bad

It's real Bad and I hate it

It's not a very common dish and it's more renowned as like the food your grandma would make for you

I think wether or not Vil likes it, anything involving it is just kind of funny

If we suppose he does, I'm thinking about him making it for people he's close to perhaps Epel, honestly Epel kind of seems like he'd actually enjoy it, or of course Idia and Idia has to go like "Vil, I love you, but this is fucking repulsive and it's not because of your cooking"

If we suppose he doesn't like it, I can still see firstly Epel enjoying it and Vil having a look of horror in his eyes or if we do a meet-the-parents thing where Vil introduces Idia to his dad or takes him to some family thing because he likes having his boyfriend around and whoever cooked brings out that fucking thing and Vil gets a thousand yard stare, puts his hand over Idia when he attempts to pick up his fork and spoon and only says: "Don't eat that"

Idia is a little bit relieved to have been stopped

Honestly if Vil was inflicted by that as a child I think I can judge his taste of plain ass chicken and vegetables a little less. I would also be traumatized into eating the default meal

I think to combat that Idia needs to introduce him to Greek dishes. Spanakopita and tzatziki could fix Vil. He’d love them trust.

Idia is just barely saved from the grandma food and afterwards he plans an outing with his own parents where they set up a feast for him

can I just say the entire front half of episode 7 chapter 8, because everything about it was BONKERS in the most absolutely delightful way. genuinely this might have been the funniest single update yet. we got Idia's directorial debut! big stronk Epel! and. just. gestures to the entirety of SavanaRook. (then Vil went into a spiral of murdering people that culminated in punching the manifestation of his own insecurity in the face, and that was good in an entirely different kind of way, but I digress)

if I have to pick one though, I'm gonna go with Idia's video, because 1) adorable, 2) seriously just look at it, and 3) I did legit have to replay that subchapter on account of laughing over most of it the first time. truly Idia is the artistic genius of our generation.
