It’s weird how fans of the character feel that canon Sansa quotes from the books is anti Sansa.  Meanwhile Arya and Jon stans have to deal with murder baby Arya and incompetent Jon or unrelated quotes randomly put together to rewrite relationships. Maybe that's why the Arya and Jon tags are so full of headcanon Sansa that most of the time feels like an unrecognizable OC.

And then in the comments there is someone who has ‘not read the books in years’ telling me that I lack reading comprehension  😂

And this is while there is so much racist Arya fanart from Sansa stans on the Arya Stark tag despite repeated requests from poc to stop doing this.

It's honestly so depressing to go on the Arya Stark tag and see fanart on the tag or sidebars - because racist art is so popular in fandom!! - where canonically white Arya is differentiated from her more classically beautiful sister by simply drawing her in darker skin tones. At this point it's clear that artists are aware of the racist implications of doing this and still continue to do this because they don't care.

And yet using a Sansa book quote is supposedly 'anti Sansa' and needs to be tagged as such. I guess the tags should only be used for headcanons of racist caricatures of ‘ugly’ Arya and beautiful blue eyed, whitey white Sansa being the best sisters ever and nothing else.

I think the problem for many Sansa stans is that they stay in their echo chambers with their made up headcanons so that when they do venture outside that chamber to posts by other readers on the tag using the books, they are shocked and think there is some sort of unfair crusade going on against their fave.

I am not saying staying within fandom spaces is totally wrong btw. We all curate our fandom experiences on Tumblr. This app in particular allows us to block out ships or opinions we don’t particularly like. I am sure my group of mutuals and fans, including me, who reblog and follow posts have a similar kind of groupthink.

However, what’s fascinating with Sansa stans in particular is that Sansa is so much of a self-insert at this point that 90% of the character is headcanons. Her most popular ships are crackships, her relationships with her siblings has been re-written, she is now the underdog and outcast etc.

This has happened to me so many times -  I make a post, a Sansa stan responds saying I am wrong, I don’t know how to read, I am a hater etc., I respond with book quotes and ask them to read the books, I am called uncivil and then immediately blocked (they just have to get that last word in!) Rinse and repeat.

Take the post that got me the above message for example.

“I’m not like Arya,” Sansa blurted. “She has the traitor’s blood, not me.”   - Sansa, AGoT

This is really not what happens in that chapter at all. Sansa does not really think of Arya, admits to forgetting about her at the end and it’s only in the next chapter she thinks that Arya may have gotten away on the galley Ned had arranged for them (Which does not happen thanks to Sansa’s tattling of Ned’s plans and Cersei placing Lannister guards on the galley).

At this point Arya is still trapped in KL trying to get out and it’s only been 3 days since Ned has been arrested. However, as per this person, Sansa is begging them not to torture and kill her and therefore names Arya, who she thinks is already safe in Winterfell, 3 days after the Starks and their men are taken down....

In the OP, I have used the most basic quotes, but in the actual chapter it’s far worse. Sansa is actually still dreaming of marrying beautiful prince Joffrey when she is taken to meet Cersei:

That night Sansa dreamt of Joffrey on the throne, with herself seated beside him in a gown of woven gold. She had a crown on her head, and everyone she had ever known came before her, to bend the knee and say their courtesies.

“Sweet Sansa,” Queen Cersei said, laying a soft hand on her wrist. “Such a beautiful child. I do hope you know how much Joffrey and I love you.”

“You do?” Sansa said, breathless. Littlefinger was forgotten. Her prince loved her. Nothing else mattered. (---)

“She is a sweet thing now, but in ten years, who can say what treasons she may hatch?”

“No,” Sansa said, horrified. “I’m not, I’d never … I wouldn’t betray Joffrey, I love him, I swear it, I do.” (---)

“And yet, I fear that Lord Varys and the Grand Maester have the right of it. The blood will tell. I have only to remember how your sister set her wolf on my son.”

“I’m not like Arya,” Sansa blurted. “She has the traitor’s blood, not me. I’m good, ask Septa Mordane, she’ll tell you, I only want to be Joffrey’s loyal and loving wife.” - Sansa, AGoT

And then at the very end of the chapter:

It was not until later that night, as she was drifting off to sleep, that Sansa realized she had forgotten to ask about her sister. - Sansa, AGoT

So yes, Sansa is scared of not being able to marry Joffrey anymore, frightened of being accused as a traitor like her father and therefore throws out Arya’s name as the traitor - when as far as she knows Arya is in KL and Lannisters could have Arya, the same as her.

Next,

This is the funniest part! - ‘I haven’t read these books in a few years, however, it’s you who is very much lacking reading comprehension’ 😂😂😂

Make it make sense please. And then we are back to the usual Sansa is just a child, she’s 11 goddammit! She’s a teeny tiny baby! It’s totally justified for her to throw her even younger 9 year little sister under the bus as a traitor to be tortured or killed by the likes of Joffrey and Cersei instead of her.

And then finally, the predictable conclusion:

Because of course made up headcanons are ‘alternative interpretations’ and if we point out it’s fanfiction then we are being uncivil.

I can only say that I am glad that my side of the fandom don’t engage in this much fanfiction, projections and headcanons. It’s frustrating as a book fan to be told that I lack reading comprehension because I don’t accept their ‘alternative interpretations’ of how Sansa thinks Arya is safe in Winterfell three days after the Lannisters massacred all the Stark men and imprisoned Ned stark. And while Arya herself is still stuck inside KL unable to leave.

At this point I really do think there is no point in engaging with these stans because they are not doing this in good faith. Just block rather than waste time discussing. They seem to think that we need to accept their headcanons as book canon and if we don’t then we are simply anti Sansa posting anti Sansa stuff on the tags. It’s certainly a fascinating fandom aspect of a self insert fan favorite. It’s the reason she wins polls above more complex and well written characters in the books, the popular version of her is entirely about what fans project onto the character rather then actual written version in the books.

Hi there! I'm new to posting in Tumblr, but I've been following you for some time now. My question is, how did you start off your blog? Your VERY famous in this app, but how did you do it? I wanna learn how to get atleast 100 followers. So I'm asking the best artist I know!

Oh well thank you 🤗, but I’m afraid I really don’t have much insight. I think I just got lucky being in a great fandom and having an idea that kinda spiraled at the right time. I’ve been on tumblr since like….2012, and I’d say 3.5/4 of my follower count is just from the last five months. So, for me at least, I made lots of art for a while, very very slowly building up a few followers, before I just found a really fun receptive fandom and things kinda went into crazy explosion. I’ve still got no idea how it happened lol 😂

But the takeaway would be, try not to focus too hard on how many followers you’ve got. It’s just a number. You could have five followers, but make some good friends who you really enjoy talking to, or you could have 100,000 followers and not know what the heck you’re doing. As long as you’re having a fun time! Your blog is for you!

Do you have advice on how to make friends in fandom if you don’t write or draw or make gifs or videos or edits? I ferally comment on and reblog people’s posts/fics/art. I send people asks (not on anon, contrary to this one). I’ve tried DMing folks, especially those who’ve reposted things about being ok with being DM’d, but either never hear back or it fizzles quickly. I’ve also tried joining discords but find it overwhelming to even figure out where to start with those.

I love fandom, but it often feels like I’m driving by a party I really want to go to but I can’t find parking. I’m not a writer, that’s probably a terrible analogy.

I honestly have never had a hard time making friends online until I tried to make friends in fandom. I feel like there must be something wrong with how I’m approaching the space.

I mean, I’m going to keep commenting and reblogging regardless, but I’d also like to make some friends while I’m at it.

Ugh, honestly anon, I really really feel for you. I… am not good at making friends in fandom. At least not in terms of being the one to approach. I kind of just let myself be forcibly adopted by people who seem cool 😅 But that’s not a helpful strategy for you!! I would love if other people could weigh in with ideas for this anon, especially folks who either aren’t writers/artists, or maybe made fandom friends BEFORE they got into writing etc. Off that top of my head I’m gonna cold call @firenati0n and @celeritas2997 as people who seem to just have a knack for making friends, but I’m sure there are other people out there who may have tips for you.

I will say — tumblr DMs are fucking atrocious, at least for my adhd ass who has a terrible tendency to read messages intending to reply later and then they immediately fall out of my head. On something like discord the list of people you’ve messaged is pretty clearly displayed, so if I see someone’s name at the top of the list I’m like “oh shit that’s right”, but tumblr squirrels away the messaging function entirely so I never see it to give me a kick and a reminder. I shudder to think how many people I’ve inadvertently done exactly what you’re talking about to 😭 Discord DMs are a much better experience for me, but YMMV, and I do absolutely get what you mean about discord servers: by nature, the public ones are gonna be the big ones and they can get overwhelming quickly.

I guess the only other tip I can think of right now is to have a contact method in your AO3 profile — more than once I’ve had amazing comments from a regular reader, really wanted to reach out to them, and haven’t known how.

I really hope someone has something more useful for you, because I’ve been there, and I hate the thought of anyone feeling like they’re outside a party they weren’t invited to. It’s not invite-only; it’s one of those wildly irresponsible parties where someone chucked the address on Facebook and we’ll keep going till the cops shut us down 😂 But I GET IT, I’ve been there, and I’m really hoping some folks jump in the replies/reblogs with some suggestions for this anon?

i am going to begin the process of cross posting the stories/fics i care most about (i.e., the fics i’ve downloaded since the election) over to squidgeworld and i frankly don’t give two fucks if it’s called squidgeworld—besides, something like that, that has a ridiculous name, is bound to be good 😂 i think i’ll be doing that all the way to new year’s, especially now that i’m on radio silence with instagram—and let me tell you, it’s actually been kind of nice not getting notifications all the time. i can wake up in the morning and not get an uneasy stomach thinking that the next post will be about alex with whatsername.

i just can’t help but think ahead with this terms of service update on ao3. they don’t harvest your data, sure (mainly because they don’t have an algorithm… in case you needed any more proof of that), and they will protect you, and in fact, that’s their whole raison d’être, but… there’s something about the way it’s presented, though, telling you that they’ll hand you over to the authorities if you’re doing something illegal and we know that trump’s government is going to be… what it is, it’s easy to put two and two together and assume these things. it’s admittedly got me spooked.

squidgeworld, from what i can gather, is made out from the same software ao3 runs on (it’s open source software, so you can do that), created by a guy and his team, squidge. in other words, it’s like all of these new social media platforms that keep cropping up (bluesky, mastodon, threads) except it’s a fanfic + original writing site, it’s an archive (read: no godforsaken algorithm), and it’s a fraction of the size of ao3, which is huge now compared to what it was when i first joined 5 years ago. i like it. it’s quiet. it’s not as cluttered. it kind of feels like moving to a cabin in the woods overlooking the ocean and away from the insanity of the world (i live in the mountains; i’m going to the beach). it also takes the pressure off ao3 which, depending on the fandom, is completely overrun with the tiktok crowd.

i saw a post earlier while i was prepping my queue for this week, saying something like “i’ll tear a book limb from limb but i would nEvEr do that to fanfic,” and… you know what. i’m just gonna say it. fuck off with this. you heard me.

this attitude is why there is so much shovelware shit on ao3 now. this attitude is why you have the exact same fanfics over and over and over and over and OVER!!! again in for example, the metallica, fall out boy, mcr, and 21 pilots tags. this attitude is why there is a surplus of “fics” on there tagged like tumblr posts or tiktok posts and they range from fucking awful to literally nothing. what was once a sentiment that made perfect sense because it is painful to see as an amateur, you are now letting the low-hanging fruit have a run of the place with this. honestly, i feel like people just say this anymore to hear themselves talk.

in fact, i almost didn’t want to write this up because squidgeworld is a smol babe and i want it to stay that way. in fact, i’m going to enjoy the smallness while it lasts.

i’m using my real name, hannah_christine, over there, and i’ve already posted quarter after twelve and my shorts/poetry collection black lake. the other benefit of this is finishing some wips i’ve put on the back burner and just let simmer (xenon dreams, the dead of night, eerie inhabitants, etc.). everything will stay downloaded/archived, and my ao3 will still be here. but decentralization is the way forward and i’m an artist: i need to dodge bullets somehow.

Part 3 of scenes from utsukare eternal!! This is less favorite scenes now and just bits that I remember enjoying, so that I can come back and reminisce about the movie in the however-many-months before it comes out on DVD.

I’m very sorry to anyone who wants a more cohesive view of the movie, my brain is too chaotic to do a step by step summary, but @anotherblblog did an actual recap/summary. My posts are more like a diary of my own scattered thoughts, because I’m used to my tumblr posts being basically just me talking to myself.

Once again, SPOILER WARNING

First of all, and I’m not putting this on the list officially, but just Kiyoi’s outfits in general!! Stunning, amazing fashion as usual, he’s just gorgeous and his clothes are amazing. Also Anna’s costumes were also fantastic- the monochrome black, widow-ish looks really suited her!

1. Kiyoi and Anna’s manager being incredibly overworked all the time. That man never stops scrambling around frantically, it’s honestly kinda hilarious but also I feel bad for him. I mean he did have to deal with 2 serious “scandals” in a very short amount of time, including Anna with her boyfriend and then a fake scandal of Anna and Kiyoi dating, plus they don’t seem to have any other staff other than the boss dealing with the two actors (kind of bad planning if you ask me, especially given how famous Anna supposedly is).

2. Kind of part of one of my previous favorite scenes- when Anna and her boyfriend are reuniting, Anna is hiding at first and then Hira or Noguchi (Hira’s cameraman boss) tells the boyfriend something like “there’s someone here who wants to see you/talk with you” and the camera pans dramatically to some tulle curtains beautifully draped over an entranceway. And you think it’s gonna be Anna appearing out of the fabric but then Kiyoi just pokes his head out with the cutest expression. And when I tell you the disappointment and wtf energy on the boyfriend’s face was so strong 😂. But then Kiyoi is just like- oh sorry- and shuffles over awkwardly to stand next to Hira so that Anna could get her proper dramatic entrance. It was so cute.

3. The opening scene. Beautifully pastel scene of Hira and Kiyoi waking up (naked) in their bed, and Hira rolling over to cuddle Kiyoi, complete with kind of hazy/dreamy lighting, calming atmospheric music, and a tulle curtain/veil thing covering both of them to add to the dreamlike feel. Some people in the mydramalist comments didn’t like the veil thing, because it was kind of just functioning as a call back to a scene in the series and didn’t actually serve a purpose or make any sense in the movie 😅. And that’s a valid point, but honestly I’m perfectly fine with doing things purely for the aesthetics. Sometimes, artistic choices aren’t super logical lol. It was a beautiful scene, and frankly it’s not too far fetched to me that Hira and Kiyoi might cover themselves with a pretty curtain like that while sleeping together simply for the vibes 👍

4. Hira and Kiyoi apartment hunting together 😭😭 Although obviously Hira’s house is the best, it was so cute to see them going around together thinking about the things they needed in a home (Kiyoi’s list including a bathtub I think, referencing the earlier bathtub steamy scene 🫢). It was so cute how Hira zooms into the kitchen to test out how cooking for them would feel, acting out looking into the living room area to make sure he would be able to see Kiyoi while making food! The domestic fluff!! I’m so soft 🥺

5. Okay I know that Anna’s obsessive fan turned out to be awful later, but I honestly really liked his and Hira’s introduction. It was painfully awkward, but the way they bonded over their shared fan interests and devotion to their idols was honestly really sweet, and then how they cautiously shook hands afterwards- I was kind hoping Hira would gain a friend with a similar personality to him, but instead he gained an enemy that he would later try to murder for hurting Kiyoi and then subsequently almost be murdered by. So that’s fun 🙃

Everyone’s account is THEIR blog! Who are you to tell people how to use their blog and what for in order for them to enjoy your content?? It is not your right to try and force people out of their comfort zones for your benefit. Blocking silent readers because it bothers you literally makes no sense when they are “fans” too. So, the least I can do to show my appreciation is through a like and if I REALLY like you I’ll follow your blog. A lot of people feel the same way everywhere on the internet not just Tumblr. It just seems to me you’re pissed because you want more attention because “I feel I work so hard on these fics!” You feel like you deserve more attention, but you won’t be getting it from us. Also, it shouldn’t matter that other people like your writings. Do you like it? Is it good enough to you? Good. Then that is all that matters. People have gotten way to needy for validation the only person’s approval you need is your own. Just admit you want more attention because with your attitude… seems like you don’t do it because you love writing… just seems like you like and wish for the attention that comes with it. I actually have a question, well technically 2?? Okay wasn’t 2, I kept thinking and getting ideas. But!!!

1) Are you okay with your characters, plot, stories etc from your fanfics (mainly HND) being Cosplayed? As in people cosplaying like Berry and Syrup like how on tiktok people did Sans, Edge, Fresh, Coffee etc? You okay with cosplays and reacting scenes? Or possibly even fan made scenes? Or them cosplaying they’re YN/MC or what they would wear in different chapters etc?

2) Is drawings of scenes on tiktok? Or again fanmade scenes? Changes or etc? Is it okay? Or like what if scenes? Or like voice acting said scenes or comics or comic dubs??

3) On said note of drawing; when you do the more spicy scenes, are you okay for the nsfw artists to draw it? With a YN or their MC?

4) Are you okay with fanart etc being on more then just Tumblr? Like Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok? Maybe even Youtube?

5) Do ya know how in DnD peoplez make mini scenes from they’re sessions? Or while they roleplay the figures move or the furniture or area changes? Are you okay with that or like doll like in dollhouse type thingy, because I kinda wanna do a figures of the paintball scenes

6) is it okay for people to make fanfics of your fanfics? Or like use your version of characters in they’re own fanfic, for example; take your characters out them in a total different world, but they’re personality etc stay the same, unless needed for certain story ideas like medieval, fantasy, dnd world etc

7) ALSO are you okay with people like making HND, etc, inspired like “merch” in a way?(thoughts on selling, but I’m more of is it okay to make for yourself) Or like making *spoiler kinda* The necklace Mafia gave MC? Mango and MC’s bracelets? Or like Dreams coin necklace? or people making like the boys jackets so it’s the cute “wearing my bf jacket” thing? - or thoughts on people designing tattoos of your fanfic and getting those tattoos? Or just designing tattoos?

Of course for all of these you’d be given credit, tagged, etc- if you have the certain platforms where posted or regardless credited one way or another! YES! I have a few so far on AO3 that have been inspired by HND. I feel like the only skeletons I have claims on are Syrup and Berry though because I accidentally made them. Obviously all other skeletons belong to their original owners but if you like my interpretation of them go for it. Also use Syrup and Berry for whatever. Take them all of them! Then they can be your problem. You can use all the humans too, like Lo, Vanessa or the brothers. I don’t mind

Yes! Again i’d be careful cause obviously most of these skeletons are not mine. They are the respective owners so you’d have to check with them. However the necklace, mango’s friendship bracelet and dreams coin necklace are all fine to make if you want cause I did make them up. The jackets would be based on the other creators (I think most are ok with it from memory but double check) but Syrups you can make. Tattoo designs would be awesome to see!! If people get tattoos on HND that’s on them but I might die. Heck if someone makes a HND tattoo that I love I might get it XD. Currently I have no plans to make merch for HND just cause I never thought of it XD you can make whatever you want for yourself, selling would be fine for now? If I ever make my own in future my stance on that might change though.

Hey there! I just discovered you on tumblr and love all your posts!!! I’m new ARMY - maybe about 8 months ago I discovered them (I’m 50 this year so kind of out of the loop sometimes 😂). So of course I fell in love with their music and them. What an incredible group of young men! They are SO talented and humble 💜. Very refreshing. I ended up going down the rabbit hole to learn about them and what stood out to me right away (like instantly!!!!) was the bond between Jimin and Jungkook. Not surprising I’m sure. Definitely boyfriend vibes 100%. Of course I learned all about shipping and the different ships (makes my head spin sometimes). I support Jikook as a couple, just what my heart tells me. My question is why does Jungkook get shipped with just about every K-pop idol out there? Especially with Tae and Lisa? My understanding was Tae actually told an army on a live to get out of their imagination about taekook, but it still continues. And the Lisa thing I just don’t get. Would love to get your opinion!

I got here myself about 12 months ago, so please don't consider me an expert. But I've learned a lot thanks to some great older-ARMY blogs here. And I'm 43 years old myself, so, huzzah for us "dope old people."

To answer your questions:

In addition to being rich and famous, Jeon Jungkook is young, fit, smart, multi-talented, humble, fashion-forward, artistic, empathetic, hilarious, and hot. So he gets shipped with everyone and everything. I bet if we went searching, we'd find fic shipping him with a Bangtan bomb lightstick.

I think people ship him with Lisa of BlackPink because she's also the maknae, also the center, and also rich, famous, and attractive. I'm just guessing. I'm not into BP. Nothing against them, just not my cuppa. I have learned their names and heard their latest song and that is the extent of my knowledge. I've never heard of JK and Lisa hanging out, but, all you need to do is breathe in the same room for the K-Pop industry to generate dating buzz.

As for people who ship Taekook... that is a minefield of a question, my dear. I will answer you as honestly as possible. But let's just hope it doesn't explode in my face. :-)

On the surface, many casual fans (I won't call them ARMY--they don't follow the other members, they can't name many BTS songs, they aren't out here streaming or voting or purchasing things) really enjoy what's called "the visuals"--meaning, the people on the team specifically selected to be eye candy.

Kim Taehyung is your classical standard of Asian beauty and his good looks were indeed one of the reasons he got on the team. (He went to support a friend at his audition and ended up taking his place! Then his announcement on the team was held off for quite a while to build anticipation.) I must say he's also talented, and all BTS members are attractive and talented. But Tae is considered Super Hot. So, on the very surface level, casual fans like to ship JK with Tae because they find them both to be the most visually appealing, and it fulfills their fantasy.

Speaking of fantasy... on WeVerse, a fan said she couldn't fall asleep, so she would think about JK, whom Tae loved the most. Tae told her to get out of her imagination, as it wasn't good there. Most of the fandom agrees he meant for her to stop deluding herself about Taekook. Vminners think it means he loves Jimin the most. Taekookers interpret him to have been telling the fan to stop fantasizing about his man. I guess it's open to interpretation, because the very next day, a fan asked Tae where JK was, and he responded that JK was sleeping right beside him.

Statements like that tend to fuel fantasy. As does a lot of the skinship between the two. Now, look, no lie--all of BTS does skinship and it's very natural and very affectionate. Kim Taehyung is just about the most tactile person I've ever seen. He will cuddle, kiss, massage, stroke, slap, glomp onto, and hug all his members at any given time. There are some moments where he does things like rub JK's thigh or run his fingers through JK's hair. That could easily be interpreted as sexual attraction, and many people (the majority of ARMY shippers) do see it that way. They just happen to ignore when he also does it to Jin or Hobi or Jimin.

Getting beyond just the surface level, Tae and JK were very, very close when they were young, even before debut. They have a sincere emotional bond. Tae helped JK get out of shell (he was so introverted he used to cry when asked to sing for others). They had a very Tom and Jerry sort of dynamic. They enjoy games and pranks and each other's company and always have, even when they mentioned having an awkward period, when JK didn't want to stop using honorifics toward Tae. He often drops them now, 10 years later. So some people like to ship Taekook because they like a "friends to lovers" narrative.

The worst sort of Taekook shippers have become enamored with the "star-crossed lovers" narrative. These guys are full-on delulu and put more stock in conspiracy theories than any facts you could show them. They absolutely refuse to trust the company or official content, they find Signs and Wonders everywhere, and they insist that Taekook were separated constantly because PD Bang favored Jimin and wanted to promote Jikook as the official BTS ship.

Never mind how crazy it is to hide a real gay couple with a fake gay couple... that line of thinking means all the boys were liars, and kept lying, for a decade. It means Jimin is a horrible friend and JK is an abusive boyfriend, and Tae a perpetual victim. The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach.

Those kinds of toxic shippers call Jimin fat, spam his lives with hate comments, send protest trucks to Hybe, put death threats out on WeVerse, sabotage subunits like Who with Lauv, and go around harassing the shit out of everyone connected with the maknae line. I am literally working with my therapist to figure out ways to evict assholes like them from my mental real estate, because as much as I hate them, they aren't going to change for the better any time soon. Even if mountains of evidence comes out that half their ship is dating someone else, they will just double down on the PRIVET BUT SEKRET conspiracy nonsense.

Especially since solo era, when evidence of Tae and JK hanging out as friends (like bowling with other friends) is not enough... now we have to get into super odd conspiracies about ski lodges based on a photo of shoes, or beach walks based on a photo of sandal prints in the sand, or spa trips together because JK left an autograph at one but Tae didn't, just like with the 7 tattoos at Poly-C's shop. Or because Tae and JK filmed their BTS RUN choreo challenge at a famous expensive hotel villa that belongs to a friend of Tae's... clearly it's got to mean they slept there together too. "Expensive Couple!" they shout from their twitter handles.

It's all so asinine. But hey, let people think whatever they want. I'm not out to tell them who to ship. If Taekook makes you happy, embrace your joy. Just please don't make up things and repeat them as fact. As long as you don't cause harm, suit yourself, you know?

But it often does cause harm. It's sad to me that shipping Tae and JK together almost always goes hand-in-hand with shitting all over Jimin as the other woman, the clingy clout chaser, the insecure user, the bad friend. When CLEARLY JK and Tae both ADORE Jimin to bits (as they should). And Jimin consistently shows up for them, time and again, over the years. He loves them both so much.

Often Taekook shippers have to villanize Jimin because it's so very, very obvious that JK has real chemistry with him, and that's a threat.

For me--based on all I've seen, and I've made sure to take in plenty of Taekook content too so I'm not prejudicing myself--Taekook would be a nice and solid K-Pop ship... IF Jimin never existed. Once you see JK and Jimin together, I just don't know how you can say it's Taekook, I'm sorry.

After a decade of the looks, the tones, the touches, the TMIs, the tats, the clothes, the time together, the integration of families, the grand gestures, and the vibes, you still think Jikook are Business Gay, you crazy.

I guess I could see the argument that they are just friends now. They have shared so much less of their lives with us since Jimin's insurance premiums / apartment seizure "scandal" was deliberately made public precisely on the same day his OST dropped. There were some other bullshit scandals over the years, like the Paris pub forehead-flicking game or the beach photos dating rumors thing... but this latest one, where someone on the inside tampered with his mail and doxxed his address and social ID number?

Jimin was done, and Jikook went to ground. Neither have come to us in any way that reveals their private lives in months. So if folks are doubting Jikook right now, I guess I don't blame them.

But how anyone can look at that birthday thirst trap and think JK is dating some other guy? Beyond me. I just don't know.

Sorry, I'm rambling.

To answer your question: Tae is handsome, kind, funny, and very affectionate with his members. People who like Tae and who like JK often ship them together. And all that is fine and dandy. Right up until they start hurting Jimin or the other people in Tae and JK's lives.

Because whatever you ship (or if you don't ship at all), it's undeniable that VMinKook love each more than we will ever know. And BTS as 7 should be everyone's priority anyway.

But the past year taught me a lot about friendships so I’m just working on myself this year. It’s kind of lonely but at the same time really peaceful? I’ve posted a few things on my blog but only drabbles really. I’ve been wanting to start doing analysis’s for a long time but I never got around to it. Just like character analysis’s and relationship analysis’s and story arcs and all that jazz. I love all of it. And in my opinion the best stories are the ones where the characters are what drive the plot of the story. TR did an amazing job of doing this and it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with the story in the first place almost immediately.

Comfort fics are my favorite and the ones that explore real experiences and feelings and aren’t just a colt bf paste of the same words really do it for me.

Yeah, it gets lonely here- but at least it’s peaceful; I follow a few blogs - mostly art + JJBA updates (and I’m super excited to check out the new eps of stone ocean) interaction wise... i have tried it out before, but none of them lasted long. what hurt me the most was when i was trying to be genuine abt something and writers here (not all but some) are really closed off yk? like they're fine interacting with friends but are really selective with new people? cause of that i just gave up interacting with them altogether and after my ideas got taken and neither was anything being reciprocated back on my blog by them despite us following each other- cause it goes both ways and if its just me, i wont do it anymore. my experience online hasn't been that great except with the upload of fics... and the only interaction i would get was comments or going through tags that was included by the person who reblogged it- but with recent developments, a lot of that has changed and i'm comfortable talking to people now ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

Unfortunately, I don't use tiktok. Hmmm. That is honestly a very hard question. Here's the thing. I was asked this a while back, if we were to be told that one of them has a significant other, would I stop writing smut out of respect for them? Well, I've never written smut anyway LOL but of course I would stop for that idol.

Right now I'm just going to keep doing I'm doing, because my current fic does not involve Tae as a romantically involved character, he's a side character that has a platonic role. Obviously my past few things have been JK-centric, so it doesn't really affect my work atm.

I have actually had two different Tae fics in the works for a while now, ngl I'm not sure what to do with them!

Do you guys have any opinions regarding this? I'd love to know bc I honestly don't know! I feel like my gut reaction is to not post anything with Tae as a romantic partner. Do you guys think that's too much or would you agree? The last thing I'd ever want to do is offend someone.

oof i have a lot of series i need to work on lol i just get so excited i post before they're done and then take ages to finish them (if i do) but yes Shadow, i adore them, there's some angst coming around but I've been working on their fic here and there and i have it plot(ted?) out but just writing it the way i want is hard lol

ah yes! it kind of ended abruptly but the OC definitely didn't want to hurt her brother and i have been working on a part 2/conclusion i just got stuck with it and then i hated what i wrote so i had to rewrite some and i got stuck again lmao I'll have to have a look at it soon.

i love writing fluff and smut the most, just couples being happy and in love and just all over each other. i try not to do too much angst especially without happy endings 'cause it hurts my heart :(

I woke up unnecessarily at 3:30am today because I was annoyed at a friend. My father passed away recently (Before he passed away, I forgave him for hurting me. Although, technically, I'm still mad at him for hurting me.). Anyways, I woke up annoyed because of a friend, who was selfish. She made my situation all about her.

When we were texting each other yesterday, she talked about how she almost lost her father (How does NOT losing her father comfort me losing mine?). Then, she talked about losing her aunt YEARS AGO (She should've mentioned this situation, not her father's situation.). Yes, these situations emit similar emotions, but they are TWO different scenarios. Because she mentioned her aunt's passing, which again, happened many years ago, I was forced to send her condolence.

WTF?!?! This time period is supposed to be about me!!! It hasn't been that long since my father died. I'm still in mourning, but she decided to talk about the people in her life that made her sad. I understand that she was trying to relate to me to comfort me, but she did it very wrong. Unfortunately, all I could do was just let her be. I lost sleep because of her. Maybe I'll take a nap later to make up for it. Since I'm up now, I might as well continue working on my dad's obituary (My one task during this entire funeral process.)....

Why am I not allowed to point out a mistake that a person made or an uncomfortable action that said person did? Nearly every single argument that I've gotten in with a friend/family member where I tell them they made a mistake or they did something that made me uncomfortable, it's always "HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH MEAN THINGS TO ME?!?!, but never "Oh I didn't know what I did was wrong." That's legitimately the whole point of how relationships work. Something goes wrong, it gets pointed out, and then it gets resolved.

And yet why do I keep getting involved with Narcissists or with people who want to only misunderstand me? Why do they only focus on HOW I say things, instead of WHAT I'm telling them. Just because I have a strong personality, it doesn't mean I'm a terrible person. Why is it so hard for them to understand where I'm coming from? Why do they only see the situation(s) from ONLY their POVs? This is why I sometimes wish I was more mute, instead of deaf. If I can't speak, no one thinks I'm rude, even though I never intended to be. I'm the type of person who never intends to hurt somebody. Yet, me voicing my opinions/thoughts are never right to ANYBODY.

It's not fair to me. That I'm the one who's ALWAYS wrong in these situations, never them. There's nothing wrong with pointing out other people's mistakes. That's what society tells you do when in any relationship, so why am I the ONLY one who's always the bad guy when my only intention is to help? This is getting exhausting....I don't know what to do anymore...

Wow! I’m an idiot 😓

I got scammed via Instagram. A friend of mine, or at least I thought it was my friend, asked me to vote for him for a special program as long as I send him my phone number ( My actual friend doesn’t have my phone number. ). I thought nothing of it because my friend was asking for help. So I gave “this friend” my phone number and all of a sudden, I get a notification that someone was trying to enter MY Instagram from the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. Afterwards, I practically called this person out on their scam, but they kept denying it. 

At the same time, I was messaging my other friends about this as a precaution and one of them told me, that the person I actually sopke to was a hacker. And told me to block the account and to change all of the passwords connected to my phone, which I did. And I hope everything is good now. 🤞

Ya’ll for anyone with Instagram or any other social media accounts. Be cautious of the messages your friend sends you. If the message involves clicking a link or anything weird like that, their accounts could’ve been hacked. Learn from my mistake! 🙏
