Watched the RWBY x Justice League crossover with my wife and ngl it wasn’t bad! At least for the RWBY fans. I can see this being not the best for JL fans

But the RWBY content we got from the characters was honestly really nice to see! It felt like a sorta breath of fresh air after V8 and V9 destroyed me psychologically and physically

Welcome to me and my struggle with imperial military uniforms fjdkdkk they just so boring and often khaki-

For Tarkin I took inspiration from a Star Trek concept that I'm so mad isn't a thing in Star Wars... The dress uniform ! The classy, just for show, uncomfortable version of classic uniforms ! (Couldn't believe that wasn't already a thing in sw, but when I searched for it I stumbled upon a sub reddit called "the empire did nothing wrong" and sometimes self care is to not clic on the clearly far right corner of your fandom to look upon a shitty fan made alterations of imperial uniforms 🌸)

Also, I had to make a choice here... Do I make the empire more strict when it comes to gender norms and expectations i.e do I put Tarkin in a skirt gkkgkffn like, I already kinda did that with both Tarkin and Krennic keeping their hair long. But in canon imperial uniforms are unisex and the same for everyone, which is great to like know the imperial military (in universe at least) doesn't do sexism a lot.... But once again, the canon uniforms are a bit boring to draw, they don't have the more classy ones you would wear for special occasions and frankly if you want a side to show more gender inequality would you pick the mismatched rebels fighting for their rights and to overthrow the government, or the established force in power that is also incidentally an empire that took inspirations from a real far right party hmmmmm

Let's look at what I made different about the empire in my au, a) Palpatine is a woman, they have an empress but b) said empress force masced her apprentice and made *him* the figure head of her empire. When you think of the empire you don't picture an old woman in a bathrobe, you picture Vader, a tall muscular cyborg with no face a glowy sword and evil telekinesis.... That is gendered in the masculine (still a dyke tho, but random civilians wouldn't know that- they don't even know if he's human). Having a woman lead a fascist empire doesn't make it better- (in my country, France, the far right party has been lead by a woman for the last 20 years and that doesn't make it fucking better)

All this to say I put her in pants fjkdkd tested with a skirt but it felt too uncanny.

And I also made her stand in the worst position to draw (for me at least) : perfectly facing the camera with a stick up her ass and at parade rest so with her hands behind her back fjkddk I struggled so hard to make it look somewhat good, and I'm still not really satisfied- also Peter Cushing's face with a hat that covers his forehead looks very wrong to me fjfkk

But enough about Tarkin ! For Krennic I also modified the uniform :D (for a second time jfofk link to the first post with another version of her uniform), but hers isn't the fancy version, it's very much her work clothes ! Still trying to distinguish her from the classic military, since she is more of an engineer/architect, so she get heels, slutty white gloves and a dramatic cape coat. Also I loved putting her in a very strict outfit but making it a bit messy in small ways kgfkgj one side of it isn't zipped all the way down, and her hair is coming down from her hasty made bun :)))

ok I'm back. I guess first off, Team, wow. What an episode, it is absolutely insane how good it all was. Especially the writing and the voice acting for Karen, it tugged on my heart strings. And Anaidon, I KNEW YOU ANIMATED THAT SCENE haha!

Actually, for me to post my theory hours before the episode was dropped, I'm surprised how much I got it right. Most of it, yeah, though I didn't expect how insane Mr. WPNZ is. More so doing it for himself and not the corporation, but still a lot of dedication was put into this. And he got a robotic arm! Not exactly like Clench (who has a mind of its own and can talk) but definitely advanced. So, the point could still stand that the tech, skills, and resources were based on his job at Hitman Inc.

Poor Karen, you can tell she's been very desperate in finding her kids by the voice acting alone. You can't blame her for going to these lengths. Like I said, understandable, but I do still feel concerned for her. And then, her psycho ex on top of everything smh, I won't be able to handle it.

And you can't even blame Mario either. He did the mission thinking it would help Karen, and Mr. WPNZ told him what to do. Then with the prosthetic taking Mario's arm, it wasn't even him. It was WPNZ, but I do feel like Mario's going to feel so guilty for what he did to 4.

Speaking of 4, NO NOT MY BOY. Chat, I'm not okay. Like I knew he wasn't going to die, he's literally one of the main characters, but my heart dropped at that scene. Through the floor and 6 feet underground. I did ask for 4 angst, yes, but damn. Can you imagine how the Crew would react? Since 3 & 4 are cosmically linked, would 3 feel that 4's in critical condition? Oh Beeg, 4's his dad dude. Beeg may be pretty tough but he still cares for 4, hope he gets a bit of revenge for it. Who do you take me for? ofc I am. As I mentioned, the parasite would still be in 4, and because of what happened to him, it might be the necessary trigger for it to activate. After everything that had happened to him, the explosion really knocked him out. This is taken seriously, this mini-arc starts really close to the IGBP anniversary.... I wouldn't be surprised if the Team tease for the future goop!4 arc. Not immediately after the Hitman arc, far later. Baby steps, chat. If the Team drops at least ONE frame, a SECOND, about goop!4, I'll take it!

Anyway, since it is a mini-arc, we're not getting another teaser or a trailer. BUT we are getting an episode special, so we'll have to look out for that. In meantime, that's all from me. I'll see yall next time and remember, folks: numbers always go first!

Now if your like me, you have nightmares but mine don't really scare me, they are more like weird dreams at this point

So the first time you woke up shaking from another nightmare i think he gets pretty concerned

I think at first hed feel guilty that maybe he had something to do with this since you travel with him on his dangerous job hunting bounties but as long as you explain that no no this is something that has been happening for a while, he feels better about it

Takes the high road of “heh nothing to be afraid of while i'm here” 

Like you have absolutely nothing to fear, with boothill keeping watch you don't have to worry about anything or any shirt bags

Definitely like when you wanna cuddle up to him after a nightmare, and he talks to you until you're ready to sleep again.

Another thing is how it is confirmed its the good future. And Raph has lost one eye and his right arm!! And Mikey lost his hair... in the 20 years that passed.

In the future Draxum and Todd seem to be staying with the family!!

Leo ended up dimension hopping for months! What did he see, where did he go, how did he return home?? (Giggling because i got an au based on that hehe!! This is my favorite fact anyways let's move on)

FRIDA REVEAL

THIS PANEL. We already had seen the pervious page. But this panel: other than their dialogue I love their expressions. Present Leo seems scared (considering what the previous time travel event was about, not a surprise), but also "i can't stay mad at you". He seems to respect/admire his older self. Meanwhile Big Leo looking at him with a smile, softly... That guy doesn't hate his young self. He seems to care for him so much (which considering the plot... yeah makes sense), but it's nice to see his old self being nice with his younger self ♡

So just came from seeing Wild Robot and a few things, SPOILERS for books and movie ahead btw

I will preface this by saying it was a fantastic film that I absolutely loved, the visuals were mindblowing and made me jealous of the practiced skill of the animation team

Anyway my biggest complaint for the movie (and I get why they did it) was the moment where the literal power of love wakes up the deactivated Roz, I really liked the book Roz that genuinely was still a robot to her core, emotionless and robotically logical but nevertheless falling into the patterns of motherhood due to her AI learning from nature

They did the power of love in the books too, it helped the animals overcome their fear and work together to pull off some epic battle tactics which weren't in the movie, like for the final fight of book one they had Nettle the bear's self sacrifice to take out the RECO only to be saved by the river fish was awesome, and all the birds raining bird poop all over the sensors of another one only to lead it blind into a muddy bog so it can be kicked to death by the moose, final battle in movie (while visually fantastic) lacked any of that strategy the animals learned from Roz

I had hoped they'd have focused more on the "helping others is a survival skill" aspect and the learning curve that took her from robot to wild robot, but the themes of motherhood were beautifully done

Oh and ROZ's camouflage skills, where was the intentional mud and moss coating of her body making her look like a cyborg treant, I mean they do the character design with moss and dirt by the end but they just accumulate over time naturally... instead of Roz just slathering herself with it and being a bush around which the animals all gossip

Also one last note, in the book Longneck is killed by a human with a rifle, Robots can't harm living creatures is a major plotpoint in the books, its a barrier Roz has to overcome and the RECOs are even subject to it which is why the animals had a shot against them in the first place, this is a plot point that the movie Brightbill even states out loud right before a robot pops out and shoots Longneck, like wtf

Other things I wish they kept from the book:

Brightbill turning Roz off and on again and temporarily thinking he committed matricide

Roz vs the bears during the learning curve

The learning curve

Roz and Brightbill bonding over the shared experience of being the only surviving "egg"

Roz being the goddamn prometheus of this islands critters literally teaching them to harness fire

Things the movie added that I liked

Brightbill acting like a robot

Fink the fox being a fully realised character (tho at the cost of some other favs)

Felling the tree to redirect the river to stop the forest fire

Vontra, just everything about it

The stickers for 10% off your next universal designs purchase

Brightbill helping build the lodge

Obsessed with the idea of TFO Megatron (or any Cybertronian) pack bonding with a random human that he found. Like, I think I love this premise?? (Thank you! 💙) Mostly because TFO is such a different time period than TFP, and with such different characters. (By which I mean: Mostly characters that are at different places in their character arcs, but also slightly different characters.)

But yeah, love the idea, especially considering any human kidnapped by Quintessons is gonna be just as FREAKED OUT by giant alien robots as they were giant alien bug/cyborg things. Like, imagine Megatron finally backs his human into a corner or grabs them, and they just just scream and bite him or try to stab him with a piece of scrap or something. Like trying to adopt a feral stray cat, for Megatron.

God forbid Optimus gets involved, because then I could see Optimus (and B, too- we know Bumblebee is good with humans!) trying to be nice to Megatron's human, and Megatron getting jealous of it. Even if his human tried to reassure him, I could still see Megatron getting jealous. Primus forbid Megatron gets separated from his human and Optimus and Megatron's human end up going off together somehow somewhere, ESPECIALLY if it involves the human being in danger. That might just end the truce right there- unless remaining allied with Optimus is Literally the only thing that will get his human home and/or more food and water, Megatron might just break the truce right there. If his human got HURT, even if it wasn't Optimus' fault... I think Megatron might just try to kill Optimus, tbh. Just. Yikes!

Optimus and Megatron teaming up against some Quintessons to protect the (their??) human, tho. Oh, it'd be AMAZING! Optimus and Megatron teaming up always is- or at least, it was in TFP, which is my only frame of reference right now. It'd be great to see, both for the spectacle of it all, and for the bittersweetness of it all. (Maybe having a human there would be enough to turn it into just sweet? Even if its just for a little bit? I mean, I'm sure you'd have to choose between Megatron and Optimus eventually, but I feel like a threesome between them would be amazing.)

The reason I went back to read the old chapters is bcz my two adhd brain cells decided it was completely normal and essential to go through all the chapters to analyze Genos wardrobe and his fashion evolution (at midnight instead of sleeping).

I thought it was only in the anime, but in the Manga too, we see Genos style was more simple at first then it gets more sophisticated. At first he's wearing simple tank tops/sleeveless shirts with jeans, pretty smart casual, then he's into fashionable sporty and street wear, which is a quick reminder of his age. This makes me wonder if 1, they had planned this from the start or 2, they just realized they could make this character stand out even more.

From one side, Genos never stopped wearing the first type of smart casual clothes, but from the other...

I feel like Genos was a strong asset of OPM from the start, he's the first character I saw on screen when Opm was broadcasted in a French channel called Game one (it's the best dub for me, mind you I don't always like French dub.) and I was automatically hooked, not that I'm into handsome cold blond characters or cyborgs, but idk his design was just it, I changed the channel at first (I had no idea it was a parody anime) but then I quickly came back for him, only to discover this is so much more than a cute blond cyborg anime, and more like a completely insane top tier shounen anime. Still, putting aside the fact that we all know how amazing Opm is, the first season was pretty slow paced and there weren't many characters to flaunt around, I mean ofc besides Saitama, Still back then when I showed Saitama around to my friends they'd laugh at my tastes and only consider Genos the decent looking character (I loved them both I didn't mind). What I mean to say is for a while, Genos was the runway model in opm before more characters were properly introduced.

So maybe just maybe, the producers were really like oh wow that's our trademark hottie, what if we upped the game with him? What then? And everything, from his cyborg parts, his hair and clothes were meticulously designed to look effortlessly more sublime every time.

Maybe I'm biased bcz I love characters who change clothes in shows which is tightly linked to me as a person ig, (they feel like my dressing dolls with all their accessories and variable wardrobe options) I love that Genos's body (?) isn't just a super powerful weapon but it's also breathtakingly gorgeous, I like thinking that Dr. Kuseno wanted to give that to Genos at least, again reminds me of his young age, he probably thinks 'young ppl like looking cool and mysterious, right?.'

I can't realistically tell tho, I haven't consulted One webcomic and I don't know how the planning of the Manga goes, either way it's just fun to think of how fashion works in Manga and any type of media.

Wonder Comics YJ Thoughts

My re-read of Wonder Comics YJ reminded me how much I've been meaning to play in that sandbox. I remember when it was coming out and how much people complained about it, and I was sad bc I thought it would be so EASY to fix those flaws with a lil' fanfic.

Which brings me to the fact that I wanna get back into writing fic. I've missed it. Why not start with this lil' era that caters to so many things I like anyway? I've got a buch of bunnies/concepts I wanna explore...

Kinda obsessed with Kon's storyline. I dig that he was trapped there, got fake-married, helped raise a baby for a while, and skipped out on the Crisis group memory-wipe as a result. I'm gonna go ahead and read some of his storylines that take place after the YJ series ended, bc I also love what all that whackness did do his relationship with the super-fam.

Amethyst on the team. I should be exploring this. Full stop. Gen, shipping, world-building.... I can go in so many directions with my fave princess and fave team actually being put together, and I should.

Tim's memory reboot a la Zatanna. This was really a cool idea. I like that the core four all have reason to remember their time with each other, even if OG YJ adventures have technically been erased from timeline. Kon was protected by the Gemworld. Bart by his speedster shenanigans. Tim got help from Z, and Cassie... well, I don't think we quite covered why Cassie remembers...

Which means I could do a story about what Cassie remembers and why. Probably involving some Greek god bs. Could be angsty. Could be fun.

That also begs the question of HOW MUCH DO OTHER FORMER MEMBERS REMEMBER? Cissie. Greta. Anita. Cissie shows up toward the end of Wonder Comics YJ, and there has to be some complexity there. I head about her being threatened to return to the cape by Amanda Whaler, and I've considered toying with it.

Then there's the new kids on the block. I admit I don't have a lot of ideas for Kid Lantern and Jinny Hex, but I've got a couple. And I really like the idea of incorporating Naomi into the team. I enjoyed S1 of her trade. I would probably stop there at growing the roster, tho. The big teamup at the end of the book with all the new young heroes was a bit... much.

How much do the Titans remember? The core four were pretty buddy-buddy with Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven in their post-YJ Titan days. Do those relationships still hold water? Or not? Hmmm.

Not hating on RID. but in the show, it kinda ticked me off that bee’s team never really took him sometimes seriously. Bee is a literal spec ops soldier and they have the audacity to call him ‘Old’ ‘uncool’ e.c.t. the show should have given bee some more credit considering Sideswipe and Strongarm wouldn’t have been created from the allspark if it wasn’t for Bumblebee killing megatron, loosing his voice and so much more.

i’d like to hear your opinion on this cause this can’t only just be me pointing it out.

So I have sometimes similar thoughts about it, because all of them are making fun of Bee (with time a little less, besides of Sides) but he is still their leader and he lead them in many dangerous situations...

That reminds me of the same case in Teen Titans Go which is very... questionable series. Where everyone were bullying Robin to the point of absurd for example very popular ep where Starfire, Cyborg and Beastboy were bullying Robin for fun, and told him his parents are there :DD OR ANY OTHER FUCKING SITUATION, THEY JUST STIGHT UP BULLY HIM AS THEIR PUNCHING BAG

All I can think about these days is The Magnus Archives podcast distributed by Rusty Quill, so I think I'll ramble about what I think other series' characters would align with/marked by which Fear (even tho I know that its more complex than 15 distinguishable labels but whatevs)

I wanted to start with Welcome to Night Vale for obvious reasons but I think One Piece would be funnier (two not at all niche interests but a very unlikely pairing) so here I go

Warning for spoilers with everything (except maybe after Dressrosa cuz I stopped watching and my knowledge is limited to the rest. Also I dont really know Jinbe so I'm leaving him out of the Straw Hats)

Disclaimer: the One Piece hyperfixation has passed a while ago for me and it's only started to come back recently so if I misremember sg tell me and I'll edit the post

Brook

I think its obvious, why the End. Many avatars/marked people died/had a near-death experience, so him being dead for a while and then a skeleton for 50+ years is - I think - worthy of becoming an avatar. He may not torment people (intentionally), but most new characters get a bit scared by a living skeleton.

He is also most likely been marked by the Lonely. If not for the fog and being lost for 50 years on Thriller Bark, its the whole being completely alone aspect of it. Him losing his entire crew. And the only wish, the only goal he has is to meet Laboon.

What is interesting is that (I think) music is mostly associated with the Slaughter (The Piper, Grifter's Bone), and other music-realted entities are the Stranger (the antique calliope steam organ) and the Corruption (may be a stretch but they described the Hive singing so)

Franky

At first I thought the Stranger cuz the uncanny-ness of his cyborg appearence but then realised that changing the body to be the most ideal version of you is a different entity's thing. The Flesh. But this one is tricky because he doesn't want to change other people's appearence and (I realised that this is not a requirement) neither does it out of obsession (at least I don't think its shown). So I'm up for debate.

Robin

For some reason, the Web came to my mind at first. She had to manipulate everyone near her to survive, didn't care about if she needed to destroy or kill someone. She definitely was marked by the Desolation because she lost everything dear to her. Then I realised the obvious answer - the Eye. She loves knowledge. She needs knowledge. She will do everything in her power to know. To find out a terrible secret, even if it kills her and destroys everything around her.

And y'know, she can have as many eyes as she can. Also other bodyparts which would be the Flesh but I don't feel like (for all its body-horror-ness irl) it gives the same feeling. She doesn't really think of it like we're made of these parts and are just parts of meat stuck to each other nor she uses her power to change her appearance, even tho she probably could give herself a few extra pairs of arms for convenience.

I think that she's still marked by the Desolation and/or the Web, the latter especially because of the Water 7/Enies Lobby arcs, but her manipulation might be just regular manipulation (like what Elias Bouchard does). And she was marked by the Stranger when Sugar turned her into a toy.

Chopper

Chopper is a hard one. He may be uncanny for both reindeers and humans, but I don't think it's that significant. The Corruption would also have potential, as he is a doctor, if Chopper would have an obsession with cleanliness (if he has, it wasn't shown). It'd be logical tho, for him to have a fear of illness, disease and such. You could also argue for the Flesh, with how much they joked about eating him.

Other fear with connection/association with hospitals/doctors/medical thingies is the End, which I think does not allign with Chopper, nor was he marked by it.

But I think the most fitting is the Lonely for him. A lot of the Straw Hat Crew could be marked by/alligned with the Lonely, but for Chopper, it's the only thing I can match to him. Living in an abandoned castle on top of an unreachable mountain, with an outcast witch, his family casted him away, almost killed him, and his father figure died, leaving him alone. Wants to help people but is more comfortable being alone, doesn't fit into society and is flustered easily. It just makes sense.

Sanji

I'd say he was marked by the Slaughter but I don't think he was personally involved in any wars or massacres during he was with his father (I didn't watch the Whole Cake Island Saga so correct me if I'm wrong), but he was stranded in a remote, lifeless island/rock for 85 days in the middle of the ocean and his biggest dream is an ocean, the All Blue. Yes, maybe the Slaughter brushed against him when he wanted to murder Zeff on that rock (and maybe eat him as well, I wouldn't judge) but it passed.

The Desolation may had a part in his early childhood until Baratie and came back a bit with Don Krieg, but I don't know how destroyed he felt during it. Anger, fear, yes, but complete loss of hope? I don't think so. And the Desolation feeds on losing hope.

His self-sacrificing nature isn't really Desolation-vibe either. It's more Lonely-coded, and he might as well could've been marked. Always the odd one out, had to stand up to himself, didn't feel like he deserves any intimacy and soft love. The only love he knew was always harsh, tough, and even if it was deep and genuine, it isn't what he always needed.

Usopp

With all the lying he should be with the Spiral... but he's awfully bad at it so I guess not. The paranoia/scaredycat nature of Usopp could stem from his deep fear of death and/or doom, which can be the End (and maybe the Extinction), and could have started because of his mother - when he could have been marked. But my mind always goes back to something else.

His cowardice and (exaggerated) arrogance, that may remind us (loosely) to one dear character from The Magnus Archives. Jonathan Sims. Usopp reminds me of season one Jon. Cocky, but only to cover a deep fear and paranoia. But its not just this small parallel. Usopp is an inventor, and has a great eye, almost inhumanly (ik ik, Usopp is not the only sniper nor the only one with observation haki but it fits). Tbh I didn't want to use one fear for multiple straw hats but in my opinion, the Eye is the closest to Usopp. He was also the one that defeated Sugar, an obvious avatar of the Stranger. Because he saw her. And then, Sugar develops a fear of anything that reminds her of Usopp. Sounds familiar.

Nami

I realised I need to think a bit more abstract with the characters and entities. For Nami, I was between the Buried, the Corruption, the Desolation, the Lonely and the Web.

The Buried because of the pressure she was under almost her entire life, especially after Arlong took over her island. I think its a bit of a stretch and the Buried is usually more literal so I'll leave it up to you. I thought of the Web because her manipulative nature, but even tho she might have the potential to use people and emotions to get what she wants, she has too much empathy and is more predictable imo.

What does fit, however, with her toxic habits, is the Corruption. I think her obsession with money (which is understandable, but what trauma is not), it could lead to her being corrupt. But. I think it never came to her not being able to choose between her loved ones and money. The other thing that has a potential but isn't a perfect fit is the Lonely, but only the 10 years that she spent in Arlong's crew. She sewered her relationships with the village people, and never got close to anyone besides her sister. But that's the thing. She never forgot her sister's, nor Bellemere's face.

I do think, however, that the Desolation feasted on her for a while because of Arlong. At first, when Bellemere found them and her original home (which was never named or was really talked about imo) was destroyed and burnt. She thankfully got a new, happy family in a friendly village. That later got destroyed. Her mom dead, her village in fear, hungry, hopeless. Then, the person that did this offered her hope. It was little, but she had to take it. As an 8 year old, she had to take up the burden of saving her village by working for the person that destroyed her life. And after 10 years of suffering, thieving, lying, hurting, she got close. So close. And Arlong took it away again. Then Luffy kicked everyones butt and all was good. But Nami is definitely marked.

Zoro

I thought a bit before my conclusion but it was kinda obvious. The Hunt. He was a bounty hunter for most of his life. He has only one goal and will cut up anyone that stands in his way. I think he matches the vibe. Also, he was marked by the Stranger when he got turned into a toy by Sugar.

I also think that he's marked by the Spiral. This might sound strange at first, but think about it. How can one possibly get lost this many times and in these stupid ways? Okay, everyone has mixed up their left and right a couple of times or whatever, some people just never remember, and people with bad internal maps exist. But Zoro is something special. On his own, he always go in the wrong direction. Which is just not what happens when someone doesn't know their left and right. Because those people by chance get it right like half the time. I think there was a research with a topic I no longer remember when the people who guessed performed better than the people who wanted to act like they didnt know. Zoro reminded me of this. I don't think he does this intentionally, so the only logical explanation is the Spiral is messing with him. What confirms this for me is a scene when they are in Enies Lobby, and before Sanji meets Kalifa and Zoro Kaku, Sanji tells him to go up the stairs. And he just turns before the stairs and doesn't go up. That's a bit mad, isn't it? And he doesn't have any brain conditions (that we know of) that causes it, so it's the Spiral having its fun with him.

Luffy

Luffy is an interesting one, because there isn't really an obvious fear that could be associated with him, if any. Or is there. We don't really see him being afraid that much, only when someone dear to him is in danger, but most of the time, he's still (kinda) calm and positive that he can save them. And when he can't, this is where the Lonely steps in.

He was abandoned by his father (sorry Dragon, but you were not a present father to him), never knew his mom, and Garp raised him like a wild animal, often leaving him to his own to survive. Shanks, his rolemodel (whom idk Luffy how many times met, my guess is not that much), also left him alone, saying that he wasnt strong enough. Then, Garp gave him away to social outcasts (sorry Dadan), whom were, again, harsh with him. And he met Ace, finally someone somewhat his age, also always tried to get rid of him, later get bullied by him and Sabo.

So okay, Luffy grew up without learning how to have a secure attachment style, what's the deal, it doesn't mean he was marked or anything. Well, these abandonments may not have broken the silly little Luffy, but when Sabo presumably died, he had a taste of what grief is. He even made Ace give his promise not to die. I would say its an End thing, but Luffy is not really fearful of his own demise (as shown countless times like in every fight he was in). So it must be a losing someone thing, that is more associated with the Lonely (or maybe the Desolation but idk, I don't feel the vibe).

So the main group is done. I wanted to do more but I ran out of steam so lmk if you want to hear me ramble on a bit more! Also, if you have other opinions, I am open to change my mind.
