In which I give the longest explanation of my opinions on Eremika and why I don't like it.
If you see my other AoT post, I likely give the impression of being a hardcore eremika anti; and while I'm not clearly not a fan of the ship I also don't believe that it just came out of nowhere, or was completely unexpected; like some eremika antis seem to think. Seasons 1-3 I honestly expected an eremika ending. Season 3 I had some thoughts that maybe we were getting a erehisu instead, but ultimately I assumed either an eremika or a no-pairing ending even by the end of season 3.
This is not because I thought the ship was built up well or had really good moments pointing towards a mutual romance/love. There are some moments where Eren shows some level of care or affection towards Mikasa; but, to me, it doesn't come off like he's in love with her. It can be interpreted that way, but I felt it was more like showing general platonic care and that those more romantic feeling could be built up or in some cases like his feelings were moving in that direction. The reason I assumed it was the most likely end game ship if there was to be a ship is because of other cannon ships where one character is in love, often obsessively so with the other and the other is either oblivious, doesn't really care, or actively seems to dislike them until the end of the series when suddenly they're also in love. ie; Sakura and Sasuke, Hinata and Naruto, Aang and Katara. Eren and Mikasa dynamic reminded me of these, especially Sakura and Sasuke.
My main issues with the eremika ship are: 1. how it compares to erehisu; Eren and Mikasa do have deep emotional moment together but Eren and Historia have deep emotional moment because of each other. That is, Eren's emotional moment with Mikasa would be just as emotional even if she wasn't there, where as Historia is integral to the moments she has with Eren. In season 4 the erehisu ship is really build up by how desperate Eren is to protect Historia, how he angrily jumps to her defense, how he's shown visiting her at the farm, how he smiles at her and no one else. Even other characters notice this; in season 3 Jean tells Eren he should stop holding hands with Historia all the time (I'm aware that the hand holding was because they were trying to get more memories/activate the founding titan, but it means that Eren and Historia had a lot of confirmed off screen time together), and in season 4 Hange looks at Eren smiling at Historia and then later tells Eren that She thought He would never sacrifice Historia; strongly indicating an assumption of a deeper level of care. All in all I think erehisu had better scenes to building a relationship of mutual care and understanding and also better scenes showing that Eren cares about Historia in a way that isn't shown with anyone else (save maybe Armin) This means that when we end up with eremika now it feels a little cheap or just off. If we got more moments showing a deeper level of care and understand between Eren and Mikasa or if The moments between Eren and Historia, and Erens reactions to Historia didn't have so much weight then an eremika ending would make more sense.
reason number 2: What it does to Mikasas character; Mikasa's love for Eren seems born out of an obsession that comes from losing her parent in a violent murder/kidnapping and then being saved by him. This is then compounded when Eren's mom dies since she was like an adoptive mother to Mikasa. She's a traumatized young girl who never actually deals with her trauma and instead hyperfixates on Eren. Mikasa entire character arc is her chasing after Eren like a neglected dog until that one scene where for like 5 minutes she finally starts to see Eren for the violent psychopath he actually is and questions what she had seen in him; but never mind that because she's back to being so obsessively in love with him that even after he dies she spends that rest of her life visiting his grave with her (probably husband and kids) and also never takes off that scarf.
reason number 3: Mikasa doesn't understand Eren. People argue that Mikasa understood Eren in a different ways, that she understood certain parts of him, but that's literally just admitting that there's clearly parts of Eren she doesn't understand. Actually, I'd argue that as its depicted Mikasa doesn't seem to understand Eren on a fundamental level. Examples: When he failed at the initial ODM gear test she told him to give up being a soldier and then went on to say that he needn't drop out alone, that she would be following him; when he passed the ODM gear test she says that he's relieved that he wont be separated from her. She assumes that the reason he'd be upset about failing to make it as a soldier is related specifically to her and not wanting to be apart from her; When Connie is angry about Eren laughing after Sasha's death he asks Mikasa why he would do that and she can't answer; despite the fact that she's witnessed him laughing in an emotional and traumatic situation before and should have been able to understand that he does it as a coping mechanism. She'd also completely blind to his obvious anti-social personality disorder (psychopathy), though to be fair so is everyone else including most Eren stans. (like, I love Eren, I stan Eren but he is like text book certifiably ASPD psychopathic)

𝐀𝐎𝐓 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 🎧
characters: Eren jager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Jean Kirschtein, Connie Springer, Sasha Braus, Marco Bodt
warnings: modern au? just playlists specially curated by me based off of my perceptions of each character and what I think they'd enjoy music wise :)))
𝑬𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝑱𝒂𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒓:
Is most definitely into dark indie, slow rap and r&b with some lowkey electronic
BIG TIME THE WEEKND ENTHUSIAST. Loves himself some Chase Atlantic too.
a lot of people would assume Eren listens to hardcore rock or even heavy hitting rap, which he isn't opposed to
but considering Eren's outward life, whether it be family issues or whatever, I imagine that he would prefer his music to be more laid back and steady
𝑴𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂 𝑨𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏:
Mikasa we all know is just a lil emo and her music taste is a slight reflection of that. Indie rock, alternative, folk rock all within her realm.
Now as soft spoken and gentle as this girl is, definitely wouldn't put it past her to listen to heavy metal just casually on a walk
She is a huge fan of Lana Del Ray, Mitski, Clairo, TV Girl, and Cigarettes After Sex
LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. LANA DEL RAY. is def one of Mika's playlist names.
𝑨𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒕:
Is a huge alt pop, synth indie, post-punk lover
Armin's taste in music is honestly what would be used to score any and all great coming of age films
LOVES The Wallows, Bleachers, OneRepublic, and Coldplay
He is definitely the person you hand the aux to on a summer roadtrip
𝑱𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑲𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒊𝒏:
Jean's music taste is probably the most diverse compared to everyone else's
His genre bases being alt hiphop and r&b, indie rock, and trap soul
His faves being Cigarettes After Sex, Brent Faiyaz, and The Neighbourhood
This is the man you want to go on a late night drive with through the city
𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓:
Connie is literally 2010s rap and hiphop personified
his fave genres being alt hiphop, r&b, west coast rap/hiphop
Connie is a big time Tyler the Creator fan, loves himself some J. Cole and SZA
Connie is the person you hand aux to at any and all parties, guaranteed satisfaction with him on music
𝑺𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒂 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒔:
Sasha is who you go to if you want to feel like you're a teen girl alone in your room with a hair brush in hand pretending its a microphone
her genres being alt pop, indie, Kpop, electro pop, and art pop
she was there for the resurgence of bands in the 2010s, and was a hardcore stan of all of them (5SOS, 1D, The Vamps, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony etc.)
she definitely still holds onto the hope of a 1D reunion
her faves being Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, Harry Styles, Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift
𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒐 𝑩𝒐𝒅𝒕:
Marco is a softie and it reflects in what he listens to
His main genres been electric r&b, alt pop, and indie
Marco's favorite artists would be: BROCKHAMPTON, Khalid, Daniel Caesar, and Omar Apollo
Marco has definitely gone to multiple concerts of his faves and collects their vinyls

Assigning AOT Characters Rap Songs From my Rap Playlist
idk this might be too niche... just tryna put out content while fighting for my life in college finals. Anyway, never falling for a man again because FUCK
Eren: "Revenge by XXXTENTACION; everyone... just listen to the lyrics for a second thank yew. I really have little to elaborate on this one idk
Mikasa: "PRIDE." by Kendrick Lamar; I think just the intro line sums it up so well... 'love's gonna get you killed, but pride's gonna be the death of you , and you, and me'. She is the best, and she knows it, but she can't let her love for Eren get in the way of being the best or else everyone's dead
Armin: "Like Toy Soldiers" by Eminem; chat if I elaborate on this one I might start crying, thanks. Just listen to it... after he kinda took over for Erwin and everything like fuck happiness... 'that was never my object for someone to get killed. why would I wanna destroy something I helped build?' or 'down-talking a man who literally saved my life'. Just gonna leave that there...
Jean: "HUMANS AND MONSTERS' by Lil Darkie; alright this might be controversial but he would fucking vibe soooo hard to this song. It's chaotic and loud and slightly conspiracy theory-coded and he likes that... especially the lyric "and if I was you, I would just quit. And if I was me, I am me, I'm glad I'm me"
Connie: "Me and Your Mama" by Childish Gambino (he's my fav rapper y'all); It's funny and chaotic and omg the beat drop. Yeah, Connie would eat this shit up like actually and he knows every single word
Sasha: "PICK IT UP" by Famous Dex and A$AP Rocky; this song is also pure chaos and vulgar lyrics and she loves that about it. It's a lot like Connie's song and the two vibe so hard with one another to these songs. She screams 'A BAD BITCH PUERTO RICAN!' every time she hears this song
Erwin: "Chapter 319" by clipping; I don't think this requires too much of an explanation? it's a very clear government-hate song and that's just so Erwin. He's on that anti-government, anti-police, protesting agenda or whatever. 'This government doesn't respect us'
Levi: "No Church in the Wilde" by Jay-Z/Kanye West; I just think it's such a badass, rebellious concept of a song for someone fighting... specifically the lyric 'what's a god to a non-believer, who don't believe in anything'
Hange: "tv off" by Kendrick Lamar; Hange loves the scream portion of this song where he just goes 'MUSTARDDDDDDDDDD' like that's their favorite part. They're a big fan of the chaos and heart that are Kendrick's lyrics and beat
Annie: "Demons" by Doja Cat; I think Annie is a bigggg Doja stan and she sits here and listens to "Demons" and is like 'yeah how do my demons look, bitch?'... it's a little confidence, bad-ass boost song for her
Reiner: "Goosebumps" by Travis Scott; this fits his kinda depressed, self-loathing nature that (in a way) relies on other people and its laidback. "With my squad I can do no wrong" is a nod to Annie and Bertholdt I fear
Bertholdt: "Lucid Dreams" by Juice WRLD; it's introspective and guilt-ridden which reflection Bertholdt well
Ymir: "Heartless" by Kanye West; this shows her care-free, badass, bitch personality because she really doesn't care about anyone except herself (excluding Historia of course)
Historia: "Sober" by Childish Gambino (I had to have my fav make an appearance again); I like this song for her because it's kind of an upbeat feel with sad lyrics which feels a lot like her as a character. And tbh, I think after everything happened with Ymir she has a hard time forgetting about and coping with everything unless she isn't sober

Hey angry warrior,
This is a popularity poll from japan
Listen, hiding behind anonymity like a cockroach under a fridge doesn't exactly make your opinion on Levi sound profound. Maybe if you crawled out from under your rock and signed your name, your critique might hold some weight.
Here you are, complaining about a character you supposedly think is irrelevant, yet you're obsessed enough to write a hate-mail manifesto.
If you think Levi's just a "cold badass" stereotype, then you clearly haven't been paying attention. Maybe actually delve into some character analysis before you try to school others.
scarletskiesinthepaths and cosmicjoke has some good analysis. And I have written some too, and I am linking them too.
people whines about "fan service" with "Bad Boy" yet spout nonsense about Levi's popularity fading. Pick a lane, genius!
Levi fan art annoying people? Honey, the only thing getting annoyed is probably the internet struggling to render all the glorious Levi content.
Levi is Eren's mentor. Let that sink in. The guy you claim is "irrelevant" literally shaped the protagonist you idolize. And guess what? Mentors often fade into thebackground as their students grow. It doesn't diminish their importance, it's simply the natural order of things.
You are overlooking the fact that Levi is the character who is frequently written about in fanfictions within the Attack on Titan fandom.
Levi may have lost some shine in your eyes, but to claim Mikasa dethroned him? Now that's some Grade A delusion. News flash: Popularity contests aren't won by saltyinternet rants.
Popularity contests change faster than your bedsheets, but characters like Levi endure. Most people don't spend their days fuming about fictional characters. Maybe take a shower, touch some grass, and realize the world doesn't revolve around your internet vendettas.broaden your horizons. Look beyond internet hype and explore what truly makes a character compelling. Maybe then you'll understand why Levi remains a fan favorite, his legacy secure long after the fleeting popularity of season 4 fades like a bad spray tan. Until then, keep your uninformed opinions to yourself, and perhaps consider a rewatch of AoT with a more discerning eye.
You clutch that "Levi-is-washed-up" theory like a participation trophy, but the evidence is about as reliable as a toddler's drawing of a spaceship. Let's dissect this "proof" of yours, shall we? Someone tweeted a college of characters they think are iconic? Wow, groundbreaking. Next, you'll be citing crayon scribbles on a bathroom stall as gospel.
You have the right to dislike Levi, but whining about popularity polls is the height of internet fandom tears.
Real criticism goes beyond "your husbando didn't win!"
So ditch the temper tantrum and try constructing an actual argument. Levi might not be your cup of tea, but resorting to popularity contests is just pure embarrassing
Broaden your horizons. Look beyond the surface hype and delve into what makes a character truly captivating. Until you have that epiphany, keep your ill-informed opinions to yourself, and maybe give Attack on Titan another go, this time with an actual brain in tow.

i hate tumblr sometimes. you just can’t ship two characters without somebody telling you they shouldn’t be together. like yes eren and mikasa are not endgame and they probably shouldn’t be together. what if i just like the ship dynamic outside of the story?? like shut the fuck up nobody cares about whether they’re end game or not. we just like the ship!! take gray and juvia for example. I DON’T CARE IF SHE WAS WEIRD! that man is literally her husband atp. there’s anti juvia stans with a big ass stick up their ass constantly saying juvia manipulated gray into loving her. which i’m sorry but at the end of the day it’s gray’s choice to love her. he choose to love her!! nobody’s holding a gun to that man’s head and saying ‘love juvia or you die’. like shit y’all are so fucking annoying!!! i love juvia idc. she’s a real ass bitch. she’s not ashamed to show how she’s feeling and sometimes it is a bit weird and uncalled for but she isn’t always like that. she’s a lot less like that now i feel. but you mfs are so insistent that she’s evil and shouldn’t be gray’s wife.. like i’m sorry gray literally fantasized about them having a son together.. idc if it was an illusion it was what he wanted. the anti juvia stans r so mad about it too. it’s okay to dislike and hate juvia but i don’t want to see it on the gruvia hashtag. like shut the fuck up your negative opinion is not welcome here. anyways stan eremika and gruvia. also if you ship graylu you are valid!! just bcos it’s not cannon doesn’t mean you can’t ship!! ignore toxic stans, post all the graylu content you want!! because at the end of the day we all like different things!!!!

Hi hello so I just wanna share my little Fowzu (Fowler x Mizu) headcanons/scenarios. Some of which are inspired by @mikasa-stan!! Or her ideas completely!
PS: If you can't stand Fowzu, DNI or block me. And move on with your life and have a nice day.
- We know Fowler finds painting and every other art useless but he finds it to be not so useless anymore when he paints Mizu. It makes it somehow a bit more enjoyable but he still doesn't really like it.
- Mizu and Fowler sparring to the point where they alway almost kill each other. It always ends up with them having the other pinned to the ground while staring and glaring at each other intensely, Mizu with hatred and Fowler taunting her with a mix of sexual tension
- Realistically Mizu would be speaking Japanese while she's in London since she doesn't know English so Fowler is her translator and whenever people talk to Fowler, she's always asking him what's up.
~~~~~~~
"What were you talking about?" Mizu asks, curious. "Just some business."
"What business?"
Fowler shrugs with disinterest, it was just some boring old small talk and some business he already knew that he was uninterested in.
"Tell me."
"It was just the usual, boring old small talk. Nothing too much to worry about little miss."
"Whatever business or small talk you have, is my business as well. So you must tell me."
-----
Fowler continues to talk to the nobles, still in English. Until the noble woman's tone changes into a worried desperate tone. That's when Mizu shot Fowler a look, trying to ask him what was up using her facial expression but Fowler doesn't seem to notice and continues to talk. Mizu then decides to stay quiet. But the curiosity gets her. That's when she decided to step on Fowler's foot gently.
"Ah, sorry. Yes pretty eyes?"
~~~~~~~~~
- Fowler sharing his gun designs and sketches with Mizu
- Mizu sharing some poetry with Fowler and they talk about Japanese literature.
- Fowler showing Mizu the gesture of Western people (men) kissing women's hands.
~~~~~~~~
"Your hand."
Mizu raise a brow. "What about my hand?"
"Give me your hand."
"Why?"
"There's a common gesture here that you should know."
"A common gesture..?"
"Like how in Japan you Japanese bow to show respect."
"Ah.."
Mizu brings her hand out and much to her surprise, Fowler takes it, kissing it. She draws back, a look of disgust on her face. It made the Irish man laugh. "Is this supposed to be a joke?" she wipes her hand, pissed off.
"No. No it's not. Men kiss the ladies' hands here, a common gesture when meeting or before a dance."
~~~~~~~
- Fowler and Mizu pretending they are dating as a cover up when they're in London
"Who's she?"
"Ah, this is Mizu. My.." Fowler clicks his tongue, mischief in his eyes.
"My lover. I met her at my stay in Japan."
Mizu only stands there, with a serious face as she was unable to understand anything.
"Ain't that right Mizu?"
Mizu raises a brow, she didn't understand what he said and was still a bit wary. Fowler laughs. "She doesn't understand English so she's a bit shy." Fowler smirks before he turns to Mizu and says in Japanese; "They're asking if you would like to go the gun museum."
Mizu nods.
"Yes, she has such pretty eyes." Mizu only stays quiet, keeping her serious face thinking about her revenge.
"Oh? Are you planning to marry her?"
Fowler only laughs as the others took a glance at Mizu, which looked weird to her. She was starting to get confused of what's going on. "Hey, what is happening? Why are they looking at us like that?" she asks in Japanese.
"Oh, little miss.. " Fowler said as he laid a hand on her waist and pulled her against him. He was now speaking in Japanese. Mizu glares at him in disbelief of his actions. "If you want to fit in, then play along. Don't blow your cover." He whispers before he laughs.
"She's not used to public display of affection."
~~~~~~~~
- Mizu accidentally cutting off Fowler's hair when they spar.
- (smeggsy HC) Imagine Fowler is too rough and Mizu is like;
"Slow down." She gasps, almost moaning but the man ignores. Grunting as he nestles deeper with a powerful thrust. This makes Mizu let out a high pitched moan, it feels good but she tries to shoot the man a glare. She grabs a fistful of Fowler's hair, groaning.
"I said. Slow. Down."
I swear the best story ideas come to me when I’m in class-
[Chuuya x reader]
Chuuya gulped down the rest of his wine, desperate to blend all his thoughts into a meaningless mush. He hated that no matter how much he drank, all he could think of was your voice, and your piercing gaze. The way you discarded him so easily, and all he could do was fall to his knees and beg you to stay, it all haunted him. He loved you, that’s a known fact to both of you. But he had always thought that you reciprocated. Maybe Chuuya didn’t deserve people in his life. Everybody he meets, walks away from him.
Was he cursed? Or is it because he isn’t human?
Chuuya always questioned his humanity, and often beat himself up over it. But when the intrusive thoughts got to his head, you’d be there to rubbish them. You would always stay by his side, for hours, calming his racing heart and wiping his tears, softly kissing his face and repeatedly reassuring him that he was, in fact, human.
“Chuuya, look at me.”
Your soft voice pushed through his dark thoughts, and Chuuya hesitantly looked up to meet your worried gaze.
“Do you love me?”
Your question made him blink, confused. Yes, he did love you. But you knew that. He loved you enough to show you this vulnerable side of his. He knitted his eyebrows and looked away, too vulnerable and scared to maintain eye contact.
“Chu. Look at me and tell me, do you love me?”
The Ginger nodded, and whispered a meek yes.
“Then you’re human.”
Chuuya shook his head, denying his own humanity.
“To feel emotions is to be human. To love, is human. You love me, Chuuya, and that proves that you have a heart, a heart that beats for you, for me, and works tirelessly to keep you alive. I can bet all my possessions on this, on the fact that if anybody is human, it’s you. Because,”, you tilted his chin to look him in his gorgeous ocean eyes.
“Because you, Chuuya Nakahara, are the most humane person I have ever met.”
Chuuyas heart twisted at the soft memory, one that he held so close to his heart.
He couldn’t believe that the same person that held him so carefully on his down days, is the one who left him.
He couldn’t tolerate the pain any longer. All he wanted to do was not feel. He finally understood that idiot Dazai’s wish to die.
But every time he thought of killing himself, he remembered the version of you that would look so shattered and broken every time he came home with new injuries. He remembered the tiny sniffles you would try to hide as you bandaged him up, not wanting to show that you’re crying for him.
He promised himself that he’d stay alive because that version of you would be devastated if he died.
How ironic, he thought, that the person who once cared the most about him, is the one who is making him want to die.
You always knew this was going to happen. It was your fault for falling in love with the mafia executive. You job required you to spy on one of the executive members of the Port Mafia, and to make him fall in love with you to make your job easier. But you didn’t truly understand the concept of love, having never experienced it yourself before meeting Chuuya. And now, as you watched him drink his salary away in the club, you wished you could hold his hand and guide him home. But alas, you couldn’t leave the table you were occupying, as your job didn’t allow you to have any contact with the man you now loved. So you shrank back into the shadows of the corner table, and felt your heart break as Chuuya shouted a slurred, “Another!, at the bartender.
Hello, I hope you're doing well. You're one of my favourite blogs and i hope you never leave tumblr.
Genuine question, what is it about Naruto the series that make people get on so absurd and obnoxious? I'm not even referring to ss or nh fans, in every fandom of Naruto. Naruto fans and Sasuke fans (outside of the sns ship), Itachi fans, Sakura fans, Hinata fans, fans of some problematic ships, sasunaru/narusasu fans. The manga will say something like "The sky is blue". And those fan's logic will interpret is as "The sky is red.... also it's not the sky but the ground." Basically Interpreting the context and text as everything BUT how the author meant it to be understood. How can the text and context of the manga mean anything else then what it's meant to mean?
I know other fandoms can be obnoxious but it doesn't beat the level of absurdity in the Naruto fandom. What is it about Naruto that makes people behave in this way?
I do think there are other series fandoms that reach the level of absurdity that Naruto fandom has. Even snk and jjk fandom has bizarre behaviour. Harassing the staff, harassing other fans, saying the author deserves to die or suffer, stanning the characters in the most obnoxious way possible, having terrible misinterpretations of the source material... they have it all.
Look at Yuji, he's a sweet boy, yet even he has some terrible stans out there. Some shippers who like him as bottom will harass everyone who doesn't agree on twitter and in general hate on other characters, especially Megumi. And it's all just because they relate to Yuji or whatever. So they misinterpret him and act like everything needs to be about him. And some dudebros do the same, just in a different way. They think Megumi should die, some of them think Yuta is a bum who should die and so on. Because everything needs to be about THEIR fave. Some Gojo stans harass people who like Sukuna and attack them if they even dare to write analysis on Sukuna's character. Plenty of snk fans are disgusting too, like the way some people talk about Historia or Mikasa is gross. The way people misinterpret the characters to death is rampant in that fandom as well.
Itachi stans (the specific ones) can be so damn corny I don't even bother talking about them. Like they're the type who would put Senya as bg music on a video with Kafka quotes or some shit and act like they're deep. What's truly bizarre are the Sakura stans and Hinata stans, because neither of those two are impressive or likeable, so it's baffling why they have such a dedicated fanbase. Kishimoto intentionally made them unlikeable. Sakura is supposed to represent a shallow and self centered person who acts like they're a big deal and bites more than they can chew while getting her ass handed out to her constantly. She's supposed to be a laughing stock. Hinata is supposed to be a wallflower who has nothing else in her head except a boy who doesn't pay much attention to her. And yet. Their stans act like these are the most admirable characters in fiction... lol.
Shonen series tend to be "relatable" to a degree so it attracts people who need to make everything about themselves and interpret things to suit their own preferred view. Fans also tend to get angry at the author if the series doesn't follow the typical found family/mc triumphs all the time/other cliche formulas. Because those are what the readers find relatable. They're not that inclined to give chance to a different type of experience. Hence why Kage arc was so hated by many when it came out, and why Pain arc was so loved.
It’s pretty standard to think Eren has no rizz. The question is, does Mikasa have rizz?
I've seen way too many fuckboy Eren stans passionately arguing in favor of him being able to pull chicks left and right to be convinced that it's standard to think he's got no rizz, but I think he's got no rizz and I believe that is the correct take lol.
As for Mikasa, I feel like she's too shy and awkward to be good at flirting, so I'm going to also deem her rizzless, since my impression is that having rizz is kind of intentional? Like, it makes its appearance when you are in pursuit of someone romantically* (I use that in the loosest sense since it seems like these days you start as fuck buddies then go through like two dozen other stages before you end up as bf/gf)? I don't think her being kind of shy would be enough to stop guys from going after her because she's so pretty, but I don't think she's necessarily turning on the charm and trying to attract them.
*Please remember I am in my 30s and have lost my youthful ability to naturally assimilate new slang, so if I'm off base here on the meaning/usage, it is simply due to my advancing age.
EreMika and the sad writing of Mikasa's character
I'm just sad that EreMika (imo) is mostly made out of headcanons. I mean, that's the sole reason I shipped them. From the fanarts and au of them, that's when I shipped them. My reason of shipping them was only made out of my imagination. There's just no genuine moment of them before chapter 123. The confession in season 2 was beautiful, however, nothing came up after that. And then there's season 3 p. 1 where it's mostly Eren and Historia (EreHisu is a good ship and I love it and it makes more sense). It took the fans for years to have another EreMika moment and that's just sad.
I don't really see the reason of shipping them in season 1. It's mostly nagging and yelling. Eren HEADBUTTED HER!! I don't know how Isayama find the whole EM thing in season 1 as romantic. The only genuine moment I like between them was the scarf scene. It's just one scene. I'm sure Isayama had a lot in mind but he just couldn't put it on paper. I don't like how we're mostly seeing EreMika in Mikasa's perspective. That's why I see it a bit off about the cabin scene. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cute. But I just feel like it's too rewarding for Mikasa. She waited years, a decade for Eren to reciprocate back his feelings, like the fans did. But we didn't get more of Eren's point of view before the finale. I just can't help but feel sorry for her.
I don't like Mikasa's character when it comes to Eren very much. When I watched s1 e7, I thought she would be this archetype that would be the protector to save people from the world's cruelty. She said it herself that the world is cruel but also beautiful. And she did protect in Trost arc. But after that, her actions were only for Eren. Even in the rumbling arc, it's only for Eren. What's the reason for killing him? To end Eren's suffering. (I could be wrong tho). I just don't see her perspective more about the rumbling and it's mostly Eren, even on his death. Did Mikasa not feel sorry for the people who would be going through the rumbling? I mean, she did, but did she ever remember the day she experienced such cruelty? Why didn't she feel angry enough? Why didn't she feel angry that the man she loved is causing people's suffering? The same cruelty she experienced before. Did she ever think about a child suddenly losing his or her parents in the rumbling like she did? Why didn't we get more of her perspective? She's one of the main characters!
Mikasa is an interesting idea as a character. She's a cool, strong woman, that also has this mysterious aura. However, her character seems to remain a mystery. I know it's ironic for me to say this as a Mikasa stan but I love her because of my added headcanons. Isayama didn't elaborate Mikasa's character enough, so I made up my own interpretation. I just don't understand why he didn't make her more interesting? Why isn't there more story and development to her? Being strong and having a cool personality is not enough. I could re-write Mikasa's character and I say that's HER. Unfortunately, I'm not the best at writing, so I'm keeping that for myself.
I imagine Mikasa to be the same physically strong character but who is also compassionate to the people, like what she did in the Trost arc. I'm so disappointed we didn't get more of that. I'm imagining her to be this intimidating person on the outside but a softie on the inside. Come to think of it, I didn't see more of Mikasa to do the first approach to her friends like Sasha. It's always the characters who are approaching to her. Except when she told Historia to punch Levi (but it's only when the animators changed it from the manga). I just wonder what she's like as a friend, I didn't see more of her interacting with Connie, Ymir, Reiner, Bertholdt, etc. In my eyes, she doesn't have more genuine friendship, except with Armin (which is why I like AruMika more than EM).
I wanted to see what she wants to do other than with Eren. And I imagine that to be, helping people. I'm sad to say this but I don't know Mikasa's interests. I'm sad by saying this, it's from my imagination. I don't know more about Mikasa. I'm only liking the idea I made out of her. Characters are supposed to be told of who they are, not on the audience's interpretation. And I totally understand why there's a lot of people that don't like Mikasa. It's because Isayama didn't flesh out her character more.
Back to EreMika, if people like it, then they should go for it. However, it's not really the best ship as an endgame. I would've prefer it if there wasn't any at all. Oh how I wish Mikasa to get rid of the scarf. I like her with the scarf tho, but I would like to see her change without it. It can be symbolism. But I think it's pretty okay with her still wearing it (for romantic purposes). Again with EreMika, it's not the best ship to end up as canon. I wouldn't mind if it was actually written better. If someone's gonna make their ship as canon, at least make it make sense. Some EM shippers may go defend their ship and even provide evidence. But I'm sorry, there weren't enough. I can't be convinced that EreMika is a good romance except the fanon I'm making up. EM got more in the official arts and the spin-offs than the actual story. So that's my conclusion and the reason why I have a like-hate relationship with EreMika (its shippers are also part of my hate).
Steadfast Hearts
In the aftermath of global war, alliances are forged, and new bonds are tested. Dr. Tiana Belrose, a brilliant Androsian engineer, arrives in Paradis with cutting-edge technology, her country's hopes on her shoulders, and a guarded heart. Her brilliant inventions are the reason why Marley invaded and ravaged her country, but Tiana refuses to sit back and do nothing.
Assigned to be her personal guard, the stoic and battle-hardened Captain Levi Ackerman is known for his discipline, but as they spend countless hours together, he finds himself drawn to the woman he’s sworn to protect.
In the midst of battles against Marley, political intrigue, and the weight of their responsibilities, an unexpected romance begins to blossom between two unlikely hearts. As tensions rise on the battlefield and within their own ranks, Levi and Tiana must navigate their feelings in a world that doesn’t allow for weakness.
Love was the last thing either of them expected to find in the midst of war, but it may be the only thing that saves them. (Levi x Black OC)
Chapter Thirty Five
The night was still and quiet, the soft glow of the moon casting long shadows across the walls of the HQ. The building was mostly dark, save for the faint, flickering lights of the torches lining the hallways. The scouts and Androsian soldiers had settled in for the night, their usual chatter and bustle replaced by the soft hum of the evening wind rustling through the leaves outside.
But not everyone was asleep. In a shadowed alcove near the hallway leading to Tiana’s quarters, a small group of scouts and Androsians huddled together, their eyes fixed on the dimly lit corridor where Levi stood guard outside Tiana’s room. Jean, Connie, Sasha, Mikasa, and Armin had gathered, along with Isaac, all of them trying to remain as quiet as possible, whispering amongst themselves, their eyes never leaving the scene before them.
“I can’t believe we’re doing this,” Armin whispered, his voice barely above a breath, his expression a mix of curiosity and nervousness. “What if Levi catches us? He’ll kill us.”
Connie snickered softly, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “Oh, come on, Armin. Don’t tell me you’re not curious,” he whispered back. “There’s definitely something going on between those two. I just know it.”
Sasha nodded eagerly, her eyes wide with anticipation. “Yeah, I mean, did you see the way Tiana was looking at Levi this morning? And Levi… he didn’t look like his usual grumpy self. Something’s definitely up.”
Mikasa, standing slightly apart from the group, crossed her arms over her chest, her expression more serious, but her eyes were still fixed on Levi and Tiana. “This isn’t right,” she murmured softly. “Spying on them like this… it feels wrong.”
Jean shrugged, his eyes never leaving Levi’s figure. “Maybe,” he whispered, “but if there’s something going on, we need to know. Especially if it affects the team.”
Isaac, his jaw clenched, stared at Levi with narrowed eyes. He had insisted on joining the scouts’ little surveillance, his own curiosity and suspicions driving him to watch. “Something is definitely going on,” he muttered, his voice low, filled with a simmering jealousy. “Levi’s been too close to her for too long. It’s not normal.”
The group fell silent as Tiana’s door opened slowly. She stepped out, wearing a delicate nightdress that clung to her curves and fell just above her knees. The soft fabric shimmered in the moonlight, accentuating the graceful lines of her body. Levi straightened, his expression still stoic, but there was a faint hint of warmth in his eyes as he looked at her.
Tiana’s voice was soft, barely audible, but the scouts strained to hear her words. “Goodnight, Levi,” she said, her tone filled with quiet affection. “Thank you for keeping watch.”
Levi nodded, his expression calm, collected. “Goodnight, Tiana,” he replied quietly, his voice steady. He watched as she slipped back inside, the door closing softly behind her. He resumed his stance, standing guard as always, his eyes fixed ahead, his posture relaxed but alert.
The scouts exchanged glances, whispering quietly among themselves. “See? Nothing’s happening,” Mikasa whispered softly, her tone a mix of relief and frustration. “Now can we go?”
But just as the group was about to disperse, Tiana’s door slowly creaked open again. This time, she peeked out, her eyes scanning the hallway, and then she stepped out again, her bare feet whispering against the stone floor. She wore the same nightdress, her hair cascading loosely around her shoulders, and there was a faint, playful smile on her lips.
The scouts froze, their eyes widening in surprise. “Wait, what is she doing?” Jean whispered, his voice filled with quiet, stunned disbelief.
Tiana moved closer to Levi, her steps soft, her movements graceful. She whispered something in his ear, her lips brushing against his skin, and then, to everyone’s shock, she reached out and took his hand. Her fingers laced through his, her touch gentle but insistent. Levi hesitated for a moment, his eyes flicking down to their joined hands, and then, with a small, almost imperceptible nod, he allowed her to guide him toward her door.
“What the—” Connie muttered under his breath, his eyes wide with shock.
The scouts watched, their breaths held, as Tiana gently pulled Levi inside her room. She closed the door softly, the faint click of the lock echoing in the quiet hallway.
For a moment, there was complete silence. The scouts stared at the closed door, their minds racing, trying to process what they had just witnessed.
Isaac’s face twisted into a scowl, his hands clenched into fists. “I knew it,” he hissed, his voice filled with quiet, simmering anger. “I knew something was going on between them. This… this isn’t right.”
Armin, his face flushed with embarrassment, looked around nervously. “We should go,” he whispered, his voice filled with quiet urgency. “If Levi catches us here…”
Jean nodded, his expression serious, though there was a hint of amusement in his eyes. “Yeah, let’s get out of here,” he agreed quietly. “Before we end up on Levi’s bad side.”
But as the group began to retreat, Sasha couldn’t help but giggle softly. “I mean, can you blame them?” she whispered, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “They’ve been through a lot. Maybe they just… needed each other.”
Connie grinned, nudging Sasha with his elbow. “Yeah, well, Levi’s definitely found a way to unwind,” he joked softly, his tone filled with quiet, teasing amusement. “I wonder if he’ll be in a better mood from now on.”
Isaac’s scowl deepened, his eyes still fixed on Tiana’s door. “This isn’t a joke,” he snapped quietly, his voice filled with quiet, simmering frustration. “Levi’s supposed to be her guard, not… whatever this is.”
Mikasa, who had been silent, finally spoke, her voice calm, but there was a hint of tension in her tone. “Whatever it is, it’s their business,” she said firmly, her eyes narrowing slightly. “We shouldn’t interfere.”
Isaac shook his head, his expression dark. “We’ll see about that,” he muttered, his voice low, filled with quiet, simmering determination. “I’m not going to let this slide. Not if it puts Tiana at risk.”
And as the night wore on, as the moon climbed higher in the sky, the whispers in the mess hall would only grow louder, the rumors spreading like wildfire through the ranks. But for Levi and Tiana, in the quiet, dimly lit room, there was only the comfort of each other’s presence, only the rhythm of their hearts beating as one, only the quiet, unspoken connection that bound them together, stronger than ever before.
…
The scouts and Isaac continued to huddle in their shadowed corner, their eyes glued to Tiana's door as they whispered amongst themselves, their voices a hushed, frantic murmur.
“What do you think they’re doing in there?” Sasha whispered, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and disbelief. “I mean, I think we all have a pretty good idea, but… Levi?”
Connie grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Maybe he’s finally letting off some steam,” he joked softly, his voice barely above a breath. “Can’t say I blame him. Tiana’s… well, she’s something else.”
Mikasa frowned slightly, her arms crossed over her chest. “We shouldn’t be talking about them like this,” she muttered, her voice firm but quiet. “It’s none of our business.”
Jean snorted softly, leaning in closer. “Oh, come on, Mikasa. You have to admit, this is… surprising,” he whispered, his tone filled with quiet amusement. “Levi’s never shown interest in anyone like this before. It’s… new.”
Isaac, standing slightly apart from the group, glared at the closed door, his jaw clenched, his fists tight at his sides. “New, huh?” he muttered, his voice filled with quiet, simmering anger. “More like inappropriate. He’s supposed to be her guard, not… whatever the hell this is.”
Armin glanced at Isaac, his expression cautious. “Maybe… maybe it’s not what we think,” he suggested softly, trying to diffuse the tension. “Maybe they were just talking.”
Isaac shot him a dark look. “You think they were just talking?” he snapped quietly, his voice low, filled with frustration. “Did you see the way he looked when she pulled him in there? And the way she was dressed? That wasn’t just talking, Armin.”
Before Armin could respond, the door to Tiana’s room suddenly opened. The scouts and Isaac froze, their eyes widening in shock as Levi stepped out, quietly closing the door behind him. He was adjusting his collar, which was slightly disheveled, and his usually neat hair was mussed, strands sticking up in odd angles—clear evidence of Tiana’s fingers having run through it. His lips were slightly swollen, and a faint sheen of gloss caught the dim light, remnants of Tiana’s lip gloss.
For a moment, Levi stood there, seemingly unaware of the group watching him from the shadows. His face, normally so stoic and unreadable, bore a subtle contentment, a quiet satisfaction that made him look… almost at peace. It was a stark contrast to his usual demeanor, and it left the scouts momentarily speechless.
Connie’s mouth dropped open, his eyes wide with disbelief. “Is… is that lip gloss on his lips?” he whispered, his voice filled with stunned shock. “Oh, man… they were definitely not just talking.”
Jean looked like he was about to choke on his own breath. “Did he—did they just—” he stuttered, unable to finish his sentence. “And he looks so… content?”
Mikasa’s frown deepened, her gaze flicking between Levi and Tiana’s closed door. “This is… unexpected,” she murmured softly, her voice filled with a mix of confusion and curiosity. “Levi… happy?”
Hange, who had been silent until now, grinned widely, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and intrigue. “Well, well, well,” she whispered, her voice filled with playful delight. “Looks like our Captain has a soft spot after all.”
Isaac, however, was fuming. His face was flushed with anger, his eyes narrowed in a dark, suspicious glare. “Now it makes sense,” he muttered under his breath, his voice filled with quiet, simmering resentment. “Now I know why he’s always trying to keep me away from her. He’s been… monopolizing her time. Distracting her. This is… this is unacceptable.”
The scouts, sensing the tension, began to back away slowly, glancing nervously at each other. “Let’s get out of here before Levi sees us,” Armin whispered urgently, his eyes wide with worry. “If he catches us spying…”
They quickly and quietly retreated down the hallway, making sure to stay out of sight. Once they were far enough away, they ducked into another corridor, huddling together as they tried to process what they had just witnessed.
Sasha was the first to speak, her voice filled with a mix of awe and disbelief. “I can’t believe it,” she whispered, her eyes wide. “Levi… and Tiana? I mean, I thought maybe there was something, but… wow.”
Connie nodded, his grin widening. “Yeah, and did you see the way he looked when he came out? I’ve never seen Levi look like that. Ever.”
Jean shook his head, a bemused smile on his lips. “I guess everyone needs a break from being humanity’s strongest soldier,” he said softly, his tone filled with quiet amusement.
Mikasa remained quiet, her expression thoughtful, her gaze distant. She wasn’t sure what to think. Levi had always been so focused, so dedicated to his duty. But seeing him like this… it was new, unexpected. And it made her wonder what else she didn’t know about him.
Isaac, however, was seething. His fists were clenched so tightly his knuckles had turned white, his jaw set in a hard line. “He’s been… interfering this whole time,” he muttered darkly, his voice low, filled with quiet, simmering anger. “Every time I tried to talk to her, he’d interrupt. Now I see why. He’s been keeping her for himself.”
Armin looked at Isaac, his expression concerned. “Isaac, maybe you should calm down,” he suggested softly. “We don’t know the full story. Maybe there’s more to it than what we saw.”
Isaac glared at Armin, his eyes filled with frustration. “Oh, there’s more to it, alright,” he snapped, his voice sharp. “And I’m going to find out what. This isn’t over.”
Hange leaned in, her grin widening. “Ooh, drama,” she whispered playfully, her eyes twinkling with excitement. “I love it. But seriously, guys, maybe we should just… let them be. Whatever’s going on, it seems like they’re… happy. And we could all use a little more of that.”
The group fell silent, each of them lost in their own thoughts, their minds buzzing with the implications of what they had just witnessed. It was clear that things were changing, that the dynamic between Levi and Tiana was more complex than any of them had realized. And as they stood there, the hum of the HQ around them, they couldn’t help but wonder what would happen next—what new secrets might come to light, what new challenges they might face.
But one thing was certain: Levi and Tiana’s secret was no longer quite so secret. And in the world of the Scouts, where every action had consequences, where every decision could mean the difference between life and death, that could change everything.
…
The next day, the sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm, golden light over the fields surrounding HQ. It was a rare, peaceful Sunday afternoon, the kind of day that felt almost foreign in a world constantly teetering on the edge of chaos. The scouts were scattered around the grounds, taking advantage of the brief reprieve from their usual duties, enjoying the quiet serenity of the day.
In a secluded area behind the stables, Levi was preparing a surprise for Tiana. He’d spent the better part of the morning arranging it, making sure everything was perfect. It wasn’t often they had free time like this, and he wanted to make the most of it—wanted to give her a small taste of the peace and freedom she had brought into his life. He stood beside his horse, a sturdy black mare with a gentle temperament, his hand running absently along her mane as he waited for Tiana.
Tiana approached, her expression curious, a soft smile tugging at her lips. “Levi, what are you up to?” she asked, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and intrigue.
Levi turned to her, his usual stoic expression softened by a small, almost imperceptible smile. “I thought I’d take you out for a ride,” he said simply, his voice calm. “You’ve never ridden a horse before, right?”
Tiana’s eyes widened slightly, her smile growing. “No, I haven’t,” she admitted, a small, excited laugh escaping her lips. “But I’ve always wanted to try. Are you… are you going to teach me?”
Levi nodded, his eyes softening as he looked at her. “Yeah,” he said quietly, his voice filled with promise. “I’ll teach you.”
He moved closer, his hands reaching for her waist. “I’ll lift you up first,” he explained, his tone calm, almost instructional. “Just hold on tight.”
Tiana’s heart fluttered at the touch of his hands, her breath hitching slightly as she felt the strength in his grip. She nodded, her smile widening. “Okay,” she whispered softly, her voice filled with trust. “I’m ready.”
With an easy strength, Levi lifted her effortlessly onto the horse, his hands settled her into the saddle. Tiana let out a small, breathless laugh, her eyes wide with excitement and a touch of nervousness. “This is… higher than I thought,” she murmured, her hands gripping the reins tightly.
Levi chuckled softly, his smile widening just a fraction. “Don’t worry,” he said quietly, his voice filled with reassurance. “I’ve got you.”
He climbed up behind her, his body settling close against hers, his hands reaching around to cover hers on the reins. Tiana could feel the warmth of his chest against her back, could feel the strength in his touch, and it sent a small, quiet thrill through her.
“Just relax,” Levi murmured softly, his breath warm against her ear. “Follow my lead.”
Tiana nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel his hands guiding hers, could feel the rhythm of his breathing, and it made her feel safe, made her feel… alive.
Levi gently urged the horse forward, his hands steady on the reins, guiding Tiana’s hands with a quiet, sure confidence. Petra moved at a slow, steady pace, her hooves clopping softly against the grass, the gentle sway of the ride making Tiana feel like she was floating.
“This isn’t so bad,” Tiana whispered, her voice filled with wonder. “It’s actually… kind of fun.”
Levi chuckled softly, his lips brushing against her ear as he leaned in closer. “Told you,” he murmured, his voice low, filled with affection. “Just trust me.”
Tiana felt a warm, quiet thrill spread through her at his words, her smile widening. She could feel the strength in his touch, could feel the warmth of his body against hers, and it made her feel… safe. Protected. She leaned back slightly, her head resting against his shoulder, her eyes closing for a moment as she let herself savor the quiet, peaceful moment.
Far away, hidden in the tall grass on a small hill overlooking the field, a group of scouts crouched low, binoculars in hand. Connie, Sasha, Jean, and Armin were huddled together, their eyes glued to the scene before them, their expressions a mix of surprise and disbelief.
“Would you look at that,” Jean muttered softly, his voice filled with quiet, stunned amazement. “Levi… horse riding? With Tiana?”
Connie snickered, his eyes wide with disbelief. “And he’s actually smiling,” he whispered, his tone filled with quiet, playful disbelief. “I didn’t even know his face could do that.”
Sasha giggled softly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Look how close they are,” she whispered, her voice filled with quiet, teasing amusement. “They’re practically wrapped around each other.”
Armin, ever the cautious one, glanced around nervously. “We shouldn’t be spying on them,” he whispered, his voice filled with quiet concern. “What if they catch us? Levi will kill us for sure.”
Connie waved him off, his grin widening. “Oh, come on, Armin,” he whispered, his voice filled with playful excitement. “You have to admit, this is… interesting. And besides, Levi’s too busy to notice us.”
Back on the field, Levi guided the horse into a slow trot, his hands steady on the reins, his body moving in time with Tiana’s. He could feel the rhythm of her breathing, could feel the warmth of her body against his, and it filled him with peace.
“This is amazing,” Tiana whispered softly, her voice filled with wonder. “Thank you, Levi.”
Levi’s smile softened, his eyes filled with affection. “Anything for you,” he murmured, his voice low, filled with quiet, unspoken promise. “Always.”
Back on the hill, the scouts continued to watch, their eyes wide with curiosity and disbelief. “I thought Levi said there was nothing going on between them,” Jean muttered, his tone filled with quiet skepticism. “But this… this is definitely something.”
Sasha nodded eagerly, her eyes still glued to the scene. “Oh, yeah,” she whispered, her voice filled with quiet, playful delight. “This is definitely more than just guarding. They’re… they’re together. Like, really together.”
Isaac, who had been silent until now, lowered his binoculars, his face dark with anger. “I knew it,” he muttered, his voice low, filled with quiet, simmering resentment. “He’s been lying this whole time. Distracting her. Keeping her to himself.”
Connie raised an eyebrow, glancing at Isaac with a bemused expression. “You’re really hung up on this, huh?” he whispered, his tone light, teasing. “Jealous, much?”
Isaac’s jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing. “It’s not about jealousy,” he snapped quietly, his voice filled with quiet, simmering frustration. “It’s about… professionalism. Levi’s supposed to be her guard, not… whatever this is.”
Armin, sensing the tension, stepped in, his voice calm, steady. “Maybe we should just… leave them be,” he suggested softly. “Whatever’s going on, it’s their business.”
Isaac glared at him, his eyes filled with quiet, simmering anger. “No,” he muttered, his voice low, tense. “This isn’t over. Not by a long shot.”
His eyes blazed with frustration as he watched Levi and Tiana share that intimate moment on the horse. The sight of Levi’s hands covering Tiana’s on the reins, the way they moved in perfect harmony—it was the final straw. He’d had enough. He turned sharply away from the scouts, his face set with determination.
“Isaac, wait—!” Armin hissed, reaching out to grab his arm, but Isaac shook him off.
“No,” Isaac snapped, his voice low but seething with anger. “This has gone on long enough. I’m going to the Commander.”
The other scouts exchanged worried glances. They knew Levi would be furious if he found out they’d been spying, and it was no secret that Isaac had a particular vendetta against him.
“Isaac, think about what you’re doing,” Jean urged, his voice filled with concern. “Levi’s not someone you want to cross lightly. This could get… complicated.”
Isaac shot him a glare, his jaw clenched. “Complicated?” he spat. “You saw what I saw! He’s been lying to all of us, breaking protocol, and compromising Tiana’s safety! Someone has to say something, and if you all are too scared, then I will.”
Sasha looked between the group and Isaac, her expression a mix of worry and frustration. “But… what good will this do?” she asked quietly. “If they’re… involved, they’re not hurting anyone. And Tiana’s a grown woman. She can make her own choices.”
Isaac ignored her, turning on his heel and striding toward the HQ building where Commander Erwin’s office was located. The scouts hesitated for a moment, then hurried after him, trying to stop him before it was too late.
“Isaac, seriously, think this through!” Connie pleaded, grabbing his shoulder, but Isaac shrugged him off, his expression set in stone.
“I’ve thought about this plenty,” Isaac said coldly, his eyes narrowed with determination. “Levi’s been playing us all for fools. And I’m going to make sure Commander Erwin knows it.”
They arrived at Erwin’s office, and Isaac didn’t hesitate to knock on the door firmly. The scouts exchanged one last, desperate glance, but it was clear Isaac was resolute.
“Enter,” came Erwin’s calm, authoritative voice from within.
Isaac pushed the door open, stepping inside with the scouts trailing reluctantly behind him. Erwin looked up from his desk, his blue eyes sharp and assessing as they fell on Isaac.
“Isaac,” Erwin greeted evenly, though his gaze flicked to the others behind him. “What brings you here?”
Isaac wasted no time, his frustration bubbling over. “Commander, I need to report something concerning Captain Levi and Dr. Belrose,” he began, his voice tight with anger. “He’s been lying to you—lying to all of us.”
Erwin’s expression remained neutral, but his eyes narrowed slightly. “Lying?” he repeated, his tone even. “About what, exactly?”
Isaac took a deep breath, his hands clenched at his sides. “About his relationship with Dr. Belrose,” he said, his voice steady but filled with quiet, simmering anger. “He’s been… involved with her. Romantically. We’ve all seen it.”
Erwin’s gaze shifted to the scouts, who stood nervously behind Isaac, their expressions filled with a mix of worry and apprehension. “Is this true?” he asked calmly, his voice low, but there was a authority in his tone.
Jean shifted uncomfortably, glancing at the others. “Well… we did see some things, Commander,” he admitted reluctantly. “But I don’t know if it’s as bad as Isaac is saying…”
Isaac cut him off, his voice rising slightly with frustration. “We saw Levi going into her room late at night, and he didn’t come out until hours later,” he said sharply. “And when he did, his hair was a mess, his lips were swollen, and he had her lip gloss on his face. That’s not just ‘some things.’ That’s proof they’re involved.”
Erwin listened quietly, his expression unreadable. “And this… happened once?” he asked slowly, his tone still calm, but there was a hint of something sharper beneath the surface.
Isaac shook his head, his eyes blazing with determination. “It’s been going on for who knows how long,” he said heatedly. “We also saw them today, riding Levi’s horse together, in a way that was far from professional. He’s been lying, Commander. And what’s worse, when they were at that cabin, Levi kept the security minimal. He was too distracted by… whatever they were doing.”
Erwin’s gaze hardened slightly at that, his eyes narrowing. “Minimal security?” he repeated, his voice low, measured. “Are you suggesting Levi compromised Dr. Belrose’s safety?”
Isaac nodded firmly. “Yes,” he said sharply. “I think his… relationship with her is clouding his judgment. He’s not thinking clearly, and it’s putting all of us at risk. Especially Tiana.”
The room fell silent, the tension thick and heavy. The scouts watched Erwin, their hearts pounding with a mix of fear and anticipation. Erwin’s face was calm, but his eyes were sharp, piercing as they fixed on Isaac.
“And you believe this warrants disciplinary action?” Erwin asked slowly, his voice steady, controlled.
Isaac hesitated for a moment, his anger still simmering just beneath the surface. “I believe it needs to be addressed,” he said firmly. “Levi’s been… compromised. And we need to know we can trust our leadership to act professionally. To keep us safe.”
Erwin leaned back in his chair, his gaze shifting to the scouts behind Isaac. “And what do the rest of you think?” he asked calmly, his voice low, but there was an authority in his tone. “Do you agree with Isaac’s assessment?”
Jean glanced at Connie, then at Sasha and Armin, his expression conflicted. “I don’t know, Commander,” he said slowly, his voice filled with uncertainty. “I mean, yeah, we saw some things, but… Levi’s always been dedicated. Always put the mission first. This… whatever it is, it’s different, but I don’t think it’s affecting his ability to lead.”
Sasha nodded, her expression earnest. “Yeah, Commander,” she added softly. “I don’t think Levi would ever put us in danger. And… Tiana seems happy. Maybe… maybe we should just let them be.”
Isaac scowled, his frustration clear. “Happy?” he repeated, his voice filled with quiet, simmering disbelief. “This isn’t about happiness. This is about professionalism. About doing our jobs.”
Erwin raised a hand, his expression still calm, but his eyes were sharp, focused. “That’s enough,” he said quietly, his voice filled with authority. “I’ll speak with Captain Levi myself. Dismissed.”
Isaac hesitated for a moment, his frustration still simmering, but he nodded reluctantly. “Yes, Commander,” he muttered, his voice low. He turned on his heel and strode out of the office, the scouts trailing after him, their expressions a mix of concern and uncertainty.
As they left, Erwin sat back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. He would have to address this carefully—very carefully. For the sake of his team, for the sake of their mission, and for the sake of Levi, who had always been more than just a soldier to him. Levi was his friend, his comrade, and someone who had always stood by his side, no matter what.
But now, with this new information, Erwin knew he had to tread lightly. He had to find out the truth. And he had to do it soon.
….
Levi moved with his usual calm, measured stride through the stone corridors of the HQ. His expression was unreadable, his face a mask of stoic calm. Inside, however, his mind was a storm. Erwin had summoned him to his office—an unusual request that immediately set Levi on edge. Something was up, and Levi had a sinking feeling he knew what—or rather, who—was at the center of it.
As he turned a corner, he spotted Isaac leaning casually against the wall, a smug look plastered across his face. Levi’s eyes narrowed slightly, his jaw tightening as he continued walking, his steps steady and deliberate.
Isaac watched him approach, his smirk widening. “Captain Levi,” he greeted, his tone dripping with faux respect. “Headed to see the Commander, are we?”
Levi didn’t respond immediately. He didn’t break stride, didn’t give Isaac the satisfaction of a reaction. Instead, he kept his gaze fixed ahead, his expression cold, his posture tense but controlled. He knew better than to let Isaac’s provocations get under his skin. But today, after everything he’d seen and heard, it was taking more effort than usual to keep his composure.
Isaac pushed off the wall, falling into step beside Levi. “I wonder what this could be about,” he mused aloud, his voice filled with a mocking curiosity. “Maybe someone finally decided to come clean about a certain… relationship. You know, for the sake of transparency and professionalism.”
Levi’s eyes flicked briefly to Isaac, a cold, hard glint in his gaze. “Careful, Isaac,” he said quietly, his voice low, steady, but there was an unmistakable edge to it. “You’re treading on thin ice.”
Isaac chuckled, his tone filled with quiet, simmering satisfaction. “Oh, I think it’s you who should be careful, Captain,” he retorted, his voice dripping with disdain. “Getting too comfortable, too distracted… it’s dangerous. Especially when it starts affecting your judgment.”
Levi stopped walking, his eyes narrowing as he turned to face Isaac fully. “What exactly are you implying?” he asked, his voice cold, his tone clipped.
Isaac’s smirk widened, his eyes gleaming with quiet, vindictive pleasure. “Oh, nothing specific,” he said lightly, though his tone was anything but casual. “Just that maybe… some people are starting to notice where your priorities lie. And it’s not where they should be.”
Levi’s gaze was icy, his patience wearing thin. “If you have something to say, Isaac,” he said quietly, his voice low, dangerous, “say it. Or shut the hell up.”
Isaac took a step closer, his smirk never wavering. “Fine,” he said softly, his voice filled with quiet, simmering anger. “I’ll say it. You’re compromised, Captain. You’re supposed to be protecting Dr. Belrose, not… whatever it is you’re doing with her. You’re putting her at risk. You’re putting all of us at risk.”
Levi’s jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing to dangerous slits. He could feel the rage building in his chest, could feel the quiet, simmering tension in his muscles. But he forced himself to stay calm, forced himself to keep his focus. “And you think tattling to Erwin is going to solve anything?” he asked coldly. “You think dragging this into the open is going to help anyone?”
Isaac’s expression darkened, his eyes narrowing. “I think the Commander needs to know when one of his Captains is losing focus,” he shot back. “I think he needs to know when someone is putting their personal interests above the mission.”
Levi took a slow, steady breath, his gaze never wavering from Isaac’s. “You don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said quietly, his voice low, filled with conviction. “And you’re going to regret this.”
Isaac’s smirk faltered slightly, but he held his ground. “Maybe,” he muttered, his voice low, tense. “But at least I can say I did what was right. Can you?”
Levi didn’t respond. Instead, he turned on his heel, resuming his walk toward Erwin’s office. His mind was racing, his thoughts a whirlwind of frustration and anger. Isaac’s words gnawed at him, the implications clear, the consequences potentially disastrous. He’d always known this could happen—that someone might notice, might say something. But he hadn’t expected it to be so soon. He hadn’t expected it to be now.
When he reached Erwin’s office, he paused for a moment outside the door, taking a deep breath, steadying himself. He needed to stay calm, needed to stay focused. Whatever happened next, he couldn’t let his emotions get the better of him. Not now.
He knocked firmly on the door, his expression set, his resolve firm. “Commander,” he called, his voice steady. “It’s Levi.”
“Enter,” Erwin’s voice came from within, calm and authoritative.
Levi pushed the door open, stepping inside. Erwin sat behind his desk, his expression calm but serious, his eyes fixed on Levi with a intensity. Levi closed the door behind him, standing at attention, his gaze meeting Erwin’s with an unyielding resolve.
“You wanted to see me, sir,” Levi said evenly, his voice calm.
Erwin nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving Levi’s face. “Yes, Captain,” he replied quietly, his tone measured. “We need to talk.”
Levi stepped further into the office, the door clicking shut behind him. The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension, a palpable weight that settled over them like a shroud. Erwin’s eyes remained fixed on Levi, a calculating glint in his gaze that suggested he was weighing every word, every movement.
“Have a seat, Levi,” Erwin said, his voice calm, but there was an undercurrent of authority that left no room for argument.
Levi nodded, moving to the chair in front of Erwin’s desk. He sat down, his posture straight, his expression composed, but his mind was a storm of thoughts.
Erwin leaned back in his chair, his hands steepled in front of him. “I’ve received some… troubling reports, Levi,” he began, his tone measured, careful. “Reports regarding your conduct as Dr. Belrose’s personal guard.”
Levi’s jaw tightened slightly, but he kept his expression neutral. “From Isaac, I presume,” he said calmly, though his voice carried a hint of disdain.
Erwin nodded, his gaze unwavering. “Isaac has raised concerns,” he confirmed. “He mentioned seeing you enter Dr. Belrose’s quarters late at night and not emerging until much later, and he also described… a horseback riding outing today that seemed, in his words, far from professional.”
Levi remained silent for a moment, his mind working quickly. He had known the risks of getting close to Tiana, had known that there could be consequences. But hearing it laid out like this, so plainly, felt like a cold splash of water. He needed to tread carefully.
“Isaac is… overreacting,” Levi replied finally, his tone steady, controlled. “Yes, I’ve spent time with Dr. Belrose. She’s under my protection, and I’ve done my best to ensure her safety and well-being. That includes maintaining a rapport with her, making sure she’s comfortable, and, yes, occasionally spending time outside of strictly professional contexts to build trust.”
Erwin’s expression didn’t change, but his eyes remained sharp, piercing. “And you don’t believe that this rapport, as you put it, has compromised your ability to perform your duties?” he asked evenly. “That it hasn’t affected your judgment or your focus?”
Levi shook his head. “No, sir,” he said firmly. “My duty is to protect Dr. Belrose, and I’ve done that to the best of my ability. My… interactions with her haven’t compromised that duty. If anything, they’ve strengthened her trust in me, which in turn makes my job easier.”
Erwin watched him for a moment, his gaze steady, unblinking. “And the incident at the cabin?” he asked quietly. “Isaac mentioned you kept security minimal. He believes that decision was influenced by your… relationship with Dr. Belrose.”
Levi’s eyes narrowed slightly. “The cabin was secure,” he replied evenly. “I had assessed the situation and deemed additional security unnecessary at the time. In hindsight, it may not have been the optimal decision, but it wasn’t made out of neglect or distraction. I was always focused on protecting her.”
Erwin’s gaze remained intense, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—understanding, perhaps, or contemplation. He leaned forward slightly, his hands resting on the desk. “Levi,” he said quietly, his voice softer now, almost gentle. “You know I trust you. You’ve been by my side for a long time. But I need to be sure that your judgment is not clouded. That your actions are not putting anyone at risk.”
Levi held Erwin’s gaze, his expression serious, resolute. “I understand,” he replied quietly. “And I can assure you, my actions are in line with my duties. Dr. Belrose is safe under my watch.”
Erwin studied him for a moment longer, his eyes searching Levi’s face for any hint of doubt, any crack in his resolve. Finally, he nodded slowly, sitting back in his chair. “Very well,” he said quietly. “I’ll take you at your word, Levi. But I want you to know that I’ll be watching this situation closely. If I see any indication that your… involvement with Dr. Belrose is affecting your ability to lead or putting her at risk, I’ll have no choice but to intervene.”
Levi nodded, his expression solemn. “Understood, Commander,” he said firmly. “I won’t let you down.”
Erwin’s gaze softened slightly, his stern demeanor easing just a fraction. “I hope not, Levi,” he said quietly, his voice filled with conviction. “For all our sakes.”
Levi stood, giving a small nod of respect. “If that’s all, sir,” he said calmly, “I’ll return to my post.”
Erwin nodded, his expression thoughtful. “That’s all, Levi. Dismissed.”
Levi turned and left the office, his mind racing. As he stepped out into the corridor, he saw Isaac still lingering nearby, that smug look still plastered across his face. Levi met his gaze with a cold, hard stare, his eyes narrowing.
“Enjoy your little moment?” Levi asked quietly, his voice low, dangerous.
Isaac smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. “I hope you got the message, Captain,” he said mockingly. “Keep your head in the game, or someone’s going to get hurt.”
Levi’s jaw tightened, but he kept his composure. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, Isaac,” he said coldly. “Stay out of my way.”
Isaac chuckled, his eyes glinting with quiet, simmering satisfaction. “Oh, I don’t plan on going anywhere,” he said softly. “I’ll be watching, Levi. And so will everyone else.”
Levi didn’t respond. He turned on his heel and walked away, his mind still reeling from the conversation with Erwin, from Isaac’s provocations. He needed to talk to Tiana, needed to warn her that things were escalating. But for now, he had to keep his head clear, keep his focus. There was too much at stake. And he couldn’t afford to lose sight of what mattered most: keeping Tiana safe, no matter what.
Random Rambling pt.4
Yall I was listening to music and reading when I just thought of a weird connection my mind just made up that I need to share. So does anyone think that there could be a loose connection between -Armin and Butters-, -Eren and Stan- and - Wendy and Mikasa-. Like both Butters and Armin are the sensitive and somewhat innocent side character with low self esteem who after being traumatized and hurt a few too many times learn to be strong and confident, willing to be kind and caring to those around them. While Wendy and Mikasa are both strong and sometimes even stubborn girls who kickass and also have a guy that they are borderline obsessed with that they love to bits and also they stand on business when push comes to shove. Now with Stan and Eren it is a very thin line connecting them, that being they are both the object of one girl's affection who have family issues that run deep and to cope they develop very healthy ways to aovid enacting with it, also said issues stem from their fathers in some way.
Anyway, that's it see yall later
