Note
I am not trying sound sexiest , also I am women myself but seeing too much 'girl boss ' and female hero make me annoyed
In past I whining about lack of female hero and women too much feminine and I kind want female version of male hero and now I kind get that but somehow it make me annoyed like🙂😐😑😒🙄
I meant it's too many now, and somehow they not like what I have in my mind and most of 'girl boss ' are mean and not polite (I am not just talking about Sylvie ) and look down to everyone (mostly men) they even not to trying playing nice or fake polite, it's just annoying.
I know not everyone like that but now just ugh, now I miss sweet feminine girl and more miss sweet feminine girl that not too stupid. I really miss that
You know I am fine female version of the male in fanfic but seeing on screen it's not good like in fanfic
Just record Sylvie is bad as Kate Kane in cw
youtube
Hey, I'm hardly the only one who has pointed this out but "girl boss" is just basically toxic masculinity but from a woman. This f*** you, got mine mentality that not about helping anyone but oneself. Treating being a bully like its strength and acting entitled to things because who you are rather than working for them and accepting you don't always get what you want.
So, I love Jennifer Walters in the comics and I would recommend Sensational She-Hulk for anyone who just wanted a fun. It's why personally I was so disappointed in Disney+ series and subsequently why I got so annoyed whenever someone asked "Why there's got to be a She-Hulk? It not like there are male version of female character." She has been a popular character for decades and it sucks to see people criticize She-Hulk as a concept just because an adaptation was bad.
I will say however toxic men still a pass more often than not. Look at Thanos, Look, at the worst aspects of Tony and look at Mobius. Thanos especially is worship and made to be so tragic and sympathetic, which is so gross considering the fact he is an abuser.
I hate Mobius way more than I hate Sylvie, but they are two side of the same coin. They are the cis-white people who just want normal life and thrive in a middle-class system in contrast to Loki, the queer and other coded character who is wrong and childish for wanting "attention" and more for himself.
Also notice how most of these girlboss characters tend to be white. Because it's not about progressive or woke or whatever you want to call it. It's trying to appeal to demographic without actually questioning or challenging the status quo.

Time Travel Stony Fanfic
Character from the Future travels to the Past
A Shadow Hanging Over Our Fate by CaptainDean13
Summary: The Avengers get sent back in time to WWII where they run into the Howling Commandos... complete with Bucky and Steve. Little hard to explain that away, especially when you are trying to keep some major secrets. Secrets like how you ended up in the future and why the hell Bucky is now a scary (reformed) assassin with a metal arm, not to mention that you married your friend's son.
Note: A 1000/10 READ. THIS IS SO FREAKIN’ GOOD THAT I READ IT 3 TIMES SINCE I FIRST FOUND IT LAST YEAR. It’s a nice and well written time travel fic with the howling commandos and past Steve and Bucky!!
A New Way For Us by ann2who
Summary: They fight Thanos—and they’re losing. And before Tony knows what’s happening, he’s standing with Doctor Strange in front of the Eye of Agamotto and gets send back in time. Can he find a way to fix things this time around, or are they doomed to fall apart all over again?
Note: This is where Tony went back in time to fix everything that went wrong and prepare for the arrival of Thanos! Due to an unexpected twist of fate, he found himself getting closer to Steve of all people!
Two More Miracles (To Be A Saint) by queenpenthesilea
Summary: “Get up, Stark, you sleep too much. You said you would teach me paper football.”
Tony’s eyes snapped open. No. No. Had it all been a dream? Had he just imagined five years – five years - of an idyllic life, complete with a beautiful, wonderful daughter? He pushed himself up, looking around; he was on the Milano – he was on the fucking Milano, and either this was a really weird version of hell or everything had been a dream. Or, a little voice whispered, something had gone horribly, horribly wrong with the infinity stones.
Note: A nice and juicy post-Endgame Time Travel fanfic!! Though, this one held a few what ifs.
Saving the World is a 12 Step Program by janonny
Summary: Tony and Steve fall to pieces when Thanos’ wins.
Then they pick themselves up, and find a solution. They also find something infinitely more precious in the process.
-
“It’s going to sound pretty outrageous,” Tony admitted, rubbing a hand over his brow. While he had put on some weight and wasn’t as gaunt anymore, he was still easily tired nowadays.
“More outrageous than talking racoons and a purple villain traveling through space to collect magic stones?” Steve asked drily.
Note: This is another post-Endgame fanfic but with a twist and different take on the whole time travel!
Oh, Snap by wedelia
Summary: Peter wakes up, and he’s simultaneously five years too early and right on time.
Or, Post-Endgame Peter goes back in time and accidentally-on-purpose gets Steve and Tony together before the initial snap happens. And, oh, yeah—he also recruits a former-Air-Force-pilot-turned-galactic-hero, has lunch with Black Widow, and somehow befriends Nick Fury. This changes things.
Note: It’s Peter who time travels this time around!!
If We Never Got This Second Chance by Pookaseraph
Summary: When Tony and Steve’s son from the future, Jake Jensen, arrives at Avenger’s Tower, the two of them are forced to confront some hard truths: Tony that he might not actually become a horrible father, and Steve that he might not be able to set aside his discomfort with sharing a child with another man. When they both get a second chance at a first try at fatherhood, it’s up to the two of them to learn from their own future's past.
Note: Anyone up for some future son time travel? Enjoy this nicely written fanfic of Stony’s future son traveling and meeting the past versions of his parents! Past versions that are not even together yet! Things are about to get weird for Steve and Tony.
Your Name on Every Wall by Sineala
Summary: The Time Gem throws Steve into the past rather than the future, and in doing so, it gives him the opportunity to undo his past mistakes. But when it turns out that all of his mistakes involve Tony Stark, Steve begins to wonder if he's ever going to be able to mend things between them.
Note: A unique plot where Steve travels to the future and realizes what he is missing on!
Together, At Dawn by RoseGoldAmpersand
Summary: Steve returns the Infinity Stones to New York and finds himself in conversation with Tony of the past. More mature and willing to listen to Tony he realises that what he previously thought were taunts was actually Tony flirting with him.
In light of this new discovery and alone in Tony’s workshop after the battle of New York, one thing leads to another...
Note: ohhhhh, some juicy smut anyone?
Don't Look Back, You Can Never Look Back. by iL0Vsuperman
Summary: Tony Stark: billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and, now, superhero.
It’d only been a few months prior that he’d revealed to the world he was Iron Man and life couldn’t be better.
That is…until he stumbled upon an old abandoned Hydra lab and kinda set off one of their machines by accident. A blast of blue light later and he found himself in the same lab…only it is seventy years earlier and it is full of Hydra agents.
Cue the entrance of the Howling Commandos led by Tony’s childhood hero, Captain America.
Suddenly, Tony is living out a dream. He’s joining up with the Commandos in the search to get Tony back to his right era. It’s the adventure of a lifetime and, at first, it’s amazing…but then he and Steve connect in ways more than just friendship and he finds that he is torn between wanting to stay with him or go back home.
In the end, whatever the result, he loses.
Note: Tony meets his childhood heroes-the Howling Commandos and Captain America!
The Future is Yet in Your Power by FestiveFerret
Summary: "Now." Wong leaned back in his chair. "What would you do to save this world from Thanos' attack? What would you sacrifice?"
"Anything," Steve said. "Anything at all."
Wong considered him for a moment, expression unreadable. "There's one thing, maybe."
Note: This is nice fanfic about Steve putting everything on the line to hopefully make a change.
The Good or Bad Thing by petreparkour for SeetheSea
summary: “It’s the metal suit,” Thor informed Steve, his normally-booming voice tinny over the SHIELD comms. “What did Stark call it—Iron Man?”
“But he’s down here,” Steve protested as the Hulk roared in Stark’s face, startling him into waking with a shout. “How could—”“It’s damaged,” Thor reported. “But it looks different. More advanced. And he—ah. He’s carrying you, Captain.”
“Please tell me nobody kissed me,” Stark breathed out, and then Stark’s voice suddenly came over the comms, but the man lying next to him hadn’t moved.“
Guys, come on, you’re killing me here. What is it, 2012? God, I hate time travel. First, I'm fighting Thanos. Now, I have to deal with my past self and Thor's bad haircut? Oh my God, Cap, yes I hacked their comms, they’re my comms.”
Steve nearly opened his mouth to protest that he hadn’t said anything when he realized that this replica of Tony Stark wasn’t speaking to him.
Note: Future Tony and Steve accidentally traveling in the past!
Character from the Past travels to the Future
hold the things you wanna say by SailorChibi
Summary: Tony is still a consultant, and between SI, the team and SHIELD he's overworked and exhausted. That's okay.
He and Steve have been having sex for weeks but that's all it is, just sex, and Tony wants more but he'll never get it and that's okay. Really.
What's not okay is the fact that Howard Stark has somehow appeared in the future and is the same as always.
This is definitely going to fuck up his schedule.
Note: ANGST! READY YOUR TISSUES.
Twice Upon a Time by TsaritsaElena
Summary: Tony Stark has never had an easy relationship with his father, but when Howard Stark circa 1983 time travels to the future in a freak accident, things get even more complicated, especially since Tony is dating his dad’s idol, Captain America, and Howard doesn’t know. As they work toward a solution that will restore Howard to his own timeline, will Tony get a second chance at a father-son relationship with his dad, or is he in for more of the same unforgiving treatment from Howard? Time travel, Avengers missions, and a secret project of Howard’s: things at Stark Tower are about to get a little crazy.
Note: SOME MORE ANGST AND HOWARD TRAVELLING TO THE FUTURE.
The Future Is Ours (Whether We Want It Or Not) by ann2who
Summary: After a hit from the Time Stone, Steve switches places with his future self.
Note: Another of Steve traveling to the future! Though this time, it features both timeline! Both POV of the past and future!
Ordinary Men by RiaRose
Summary: "Aren't you at all happy to see me?" Howard shot back, holding his glass out and pointing with his index finger. At Steve's stony face, he dropped his arm. "Want a glass?" he tried, picking up an empty tumbler, "This is good stuff."
"Tony doesn't skimp on - well - anything. And no, thank you."
"Was that Tony?" he queried, gesturing toward the hallway the other man had disappeared down. Steve nodded but didn't give any more information, so Howard repeated his earlier question, "Aren't you happy to see me?"
It took Steve a moment to answer. Howard could see his jaw working.
"No, not anymore."
OR
In which Howard travels to the future and just messes up everybody's day, Steve is conflicted, and Tony is a piping hot mess, as per usual. It's not going to be easy, but Steve and Tony have to somehow navigate through Howard's arrival and the strain it puts on their relationship.
Note: From the summary alone, you can tell that THIS WILL BE ANGSTY.
To Have My Time Again... by WilmaKins
Summary: It's been two years since Siberia, and Tony Stark is still dealing with the fallout - personal and political. Life is quite complicated enough, without Bruce falling through a wizards roof yelling that Thanos is coming.
Thor and Loki are stalling, but time is running out. The fate of the universe is at stake. Steve Rogers is back in the picture. Really, the last thing Tony needs is for their plan to go horribly wrong and bring Howard Stark forward in time.
But his Dad *is* standing in his office, whether he likes it or not.
So, it looks like Tony will have to fix that mess too.
Note: There is just something about Howard-travels-to-the-future fanfics.
Howard Stark Meets The Avengers by SerlinaBlack
Summary: Howard Stark unknowingly travels to the future with his son and wife. Luckily the heroes of the future were somewhat ready for it. Unluckily , they don't seem to like him very much
Alternative summery: when will Howard learn? Not now lmao.
Note: ANOTHER ONE.

Loki x GN!Reader - You’re late
Pairing : Loki x Gender Neutral!Reader
Words : 1532 words
Warnings : Bit of angst, a storm, bit of fluff, lots of love.
Music : Running up that hill - Placebo
Author’s note : So it rained, I love rain, I love Loki, and this came to life. Prepare to go back into the fantastic world of post Avengers 2012 fanfic where everyone wanted our king to join the team and live a human life in the tower. Eheh. Also just wanted to remind everyone to hang in there, you can do this. :) Hope you’ll enjoy this.
A french version (unfortunately not gender neutral) of this is avaible on my Wattpad account Right Here !
English isn’t my first language, if you see any mistakes, I’m all ears !
Tumblr media
Within the massive stormy clouds, a quinjet with Natasha, Clint, Thor and Loki on board flies out of the cumulonimbus. The rain clashes against the metal body, sometimes followed by lightning strikes.
“Now might be the time to calm down Thor, Clint jokes, it’s pretty hard to maneuver in storms”
The God of Thunder smiles at the comment; he would love to laugh but the mission they just accomplished drained him.
“I can assure you this none of my doing, agent Barton. Your planet, however, might have a message for you.”
Natasha smirkes without taking her eyes off the sky. Flying over New-York is a hard enough task because of all the skyscrapers. So when it’s being drowned through such weathers, steering skills are put up to a challenge.
Loki, leaning against the doorframe of the cockpit, struggles to stay awake. His body screams for him to sit, or maybe even lay on the ground. But his mind won’t. He can not stop thinking of someone, whom he misses very much; someone who should have come back weeks ago. During these though times, the fear of seeing them disappear without a trace clouds his thoughts. And then, like a deadly trap, he wonders why he ran after power, why he left them after killing Laufey, why he said yes to Thanos, for trying to...
“Is eveything alright, Brother ? You seem troubled.”
Thor’s calloused hand gently touches the Trickster’s shoulder. He comes back to reality. A few more seconds and tears would have flooded. He nods without taking his eyes off the buildings, barely seen through the rain.
“This mission took the best of me”.
His voice sounds less confident than he hoped. Even the snarky comment doesn’t come out. Thor notices how his jaw clenches tighter every second that passes. But he knows what bothers his brother. This frustration that haunts his eyes reminds him of the hard choice he made, right after New York’s invasion.
“I’m sure they are fine, Loki. Mother probably held them longer to discuss the small pieces of art they offer her everytime they go back to Asgard.”
Loki simply nods, fearing that a single word could break him. Clint and Natasha look at each other, full of sadness. They took a long time to get use to the Trickster God personnality; they might regret having done so now. Even though he found his place within the team, when you are with him, he seems to feel at home. Everyone in the tower suspects something between you two, but never look further for answers. You were rather clear : No one will know anything about your personal life unless you say so. Loki, with your generous help, succeeded in doing so too. People were quite dubious after that, but Steve reminded everyone that you helped him for this subject too. In general, they respect the choices. Apart from Tony being noisy, but failing to find anything in the end.
The Quinjet starts a descent towards the Avengers’ Tower. A warehouse opens wide, only signaled by aligned green lights. Without a word after the landing, Loki runs to the private quarters floor. The light were subdued; the city lights illuminate all by themselves most of the corridors in the darkness. With urged steps, he makes sure that no one sees him enter (Y/N)’s room. The bed sheets have not moved an inch, the bathroom is unlit, in short, nothing.
Tumblr media
Hope never did me any good.    He thinks.
On the edge, he comes to term with your absence, now wishing to soak his system with alcohol. This part of the headquarters seems empty of any form of life. At this hour of the night, only the lucky ones not assigned to missions can enjoy deep sleep. Getting visibly more frustrated, the God speeds his steps up to the kitchen.
Such a fool I make.
To his surprise, Peter walks past him in corridor near the common area. The young man holds a cup of water, his eyes barely opened. He mumbles a hello before returning to his room. Loki stops dead in his tracks and follows with his gaze the young spider, whom disappears in the shadows. Rumors of Parker joining the team ran through the tower, but he did not think it possible.
A kid. A simple agent and now a kid.
A growl in the common area caught his attention. Silently, he pokes his head through the door frame. Here stands a shadow, head down, wearing a simple cloak. It seems to look at the bay window, where New York could be seen being drenched by the rain, its lights becoming small orbs. The droplets smash against the glass, the blue light of the tower lighting up the room. Tony had deciced to put small stove in the middle of room for harsh winters. Probably more for aesthetics, but honestly, people like it. The orange glow of the wood fire sketches the hands of the silhouette, who seem to be craving its heat. Curious, Loki slowly approches.
“It’s nice to come back to Earth and her storms. It’s one of Asgard’s flaws. At least the palace. Or have I never been called during the raining season ?”
The God stops, relieved. Tears cloud his vision.
"It rarely rains near the palace. And it is not its most inconvenient flaw, if you ask me. Odin is a much bigger thorn in the flesh of my people.”
You turn your head, a small smile on your lips. Loki rushes to hug you, to which you immediatly answer. You both get lost into each other arms; he finds his peace once again, you your confort. His hands carress your hairs.
“You’re late.”
You sweetly kiss his cheek, where a shy tear had started to roll down. It’s like a heavy weight being left from your shoulders.
“I’m sorry. We had a last minute dimplomatic incident, Loki frowns, one of my agents accidently hurt one of the mountain villager last week. They went into town to demonstrate.
-The South Mountains ?”
You nod. Hand in hand, you drag him to the bay window. Instinctively, Loki goes behind you, circling your hips with arms. He breathes in deep, your scent filling his nostrils, and kisses your shoulder.
“They are... fractious people. Very territorial. I’ve always wondered why Odin keeps on trying to create an alliance with them. They are a lost cause.”
You put your hands on his forearms, relaxing. Through your closed eyelids, you guess a lighting bolt that blinds the room. Exhaustion takes over and you feel Loki briefly failing to stand up. Your bodies are ready to hit the floor any time. As if the god reads your mind, he weakly says :
“Let’s get to bed, dear. We are dying for some sleep. Come”.
For your shared pleasure, no one is around to see you enter your bedroom. Loki mentally curses himself for not seeing the suitcase, hidden behind the door. You throw your cloak on the improvised sofa on the edge of your window, showing the many bruises darkening your skin. Before he can utter a word, you take his hands to bring him inside the bathroom. Nothing crazy happens. Your muscles hurt like hell, to a point where walking becomes insufferable. He helps you clean your back, takes care of your hairs, frequently asking if everything is fine. You answer with a weak smile. You want to give the little attentions back to him, but he refuses, concern about your tired features. The storm intensifies.
Laying drowsy, you detail each other. Your hearts flutter with joy at the sight; this precious being you missed during your missions. Loki exhales, planting a kiss on your forehead. Your eyes close, taking in the sweetness of this night to relax even more. The lack of noise from everyone creates a bubble just for the two of you, lulled by the rain.
"I’m sorry.”
You frown. Your hand caress his back, trying to reassure him. His eyes shine of guilt in the lightings’ light. His muscles tense under the emotion.
"The more I think about all these futile desires of conquests, this obession of having a thrown, I feel terribly stupid...”
You straighten on your elbow.
“Loki... We talked about it.”
His eyebrows raise, his mouth merely opened. Suggesting him to sit against the wall, you put your shoulder against his.
“You never have to apologize to me.”
You hand finds his. After a sweet kiss, his troubled breathing steadying, your eyes shine with mischief, while he softly smiled.
“The important thing is that you realise what you have done.”
Again, he kisses you. The rain drops harder. A deafning thunderclap makes the walls vibrate.
“I have missed you very much Dear.”
You laugh as you both lay down again. Life isn’t easy on any of you. You, a secret agent and now intergalactic ambassador of Earth. Him, a fallen prince looking for a place in a universe where he’s seen as a monster.
A child of the Earth exploring the cosmos. A child of the Frozen Giants discovering himself.
“I promise I’ll do my best to never be late again.”

Are two Loki variants the same person?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, but I think the circumstances of Loki season one make it a little hard to see that.
Let's start at the start. In Avengers: Endgame, the Avengers went back in time to 2012 and were very careful to avoid changing history. However, mistakes were made, and the Loki of 2012 escaped amid the confusion. We never see the time-traveling Avengers fix this, and it's frankly not even clear if they noticed the problem. So Loki begins with a simple premise: instead of escaping and causing history to branch into an alternate timeline, Loki is immediately apprehended by the Time Police and thrown into Time Jail.
The Time Variance Authority presents Loki with a short film, explaining that there is a single, "sacred" timeline, and attempts to alter that timeline are not permitted. This is relatively straightforward. Many time-travel stories have to address what happens if you (for example) went back in time and killed your grandfather before your father was conceived. In Loki episode 1, it looks like you'd be stopped before you could even make the attempt. At least, at first.
As Loki explains in his defense, he's not the one who traveled through time. All he did was take advantage of the situation the Avengers created when they changed history. But we're told the Avengers' changes were "supposed to happen," whereas Loki's reaction was not. This changes the context of that TVA short film. The TVA goes after "variants" who "veer off the path" and create a "nexus event," but that doesn't have to involve time-travel at all. A variant can be anyone that makes any decision that the TVA considers "wrong."
In any event, we're left with two Lokis--one who got captured by the TVA in 2012, and another who did what was "supposed to happen" and got killed by Thanos in 2018. So at this point it's still easy to think of a variant as a version of yourself who zigged when you zagged. The two Lokis were the same guy, living the same life up until the 2012 nexus event. We're then shown that there have been a lot of Loki variants, and many of them are clearly Tom Hiddleston dressed in different outfits. This tacitly supports the idea that all Loki variants are "what-if" scenarios branching off the same root individual.
Then we meet Sylvie.
Sylvie upends everything we've learned up to that point in the show. Obviously she pokes holes in the TVA "dogma," so that Loki realizes he's been misled because even the TVA itself doesn't actually know the truth. More importantly, though, her existence challenges our preconception of what a variant is. Sylvie doesn't follow the pattern of each variant being a "what if" divergence of a single person. At first glance she seems to be "what if Loki was conceived with different chromosomes?" But if that was her nexus event, the TVA would have destroyed her timeline before she was born. Instead they showed up years later, for no obvious reason.
(Side note: The TVA apprehended Sylvie when she's playing with toys and acting out a heroic Valkyrie preventing Ragnarok. There's a fan theory that Sylvie wanted to be a Valkyrie when she grew up, and that choosing a heroic lifestyle is what sets the TVA upon her. I like the sound of that, but it's a little shaky. In the scene, her admiration of the Valkyries is not presented as a recent development. Then again, it's not clear if the TVA always respond to a nexus event right when it starts or just when they decide it's become dangerous.)
What this suggests is that the TVA allowed Sylvie to be born, let her live her life until they disapproved of her choices, and reset the timeline so that a completely different Loki was conceived and born in her place. It stands to reason that the TVA has done this a lot, producing a wide variety of Loki variants that have nothing in common. And it further stands to reason that they would do the same thing with countless other individuals, including Loki's parents, grandparents, and so forth.
By the time we meet Alligator Loki, it's clear that "our" Loki could have variants that differ from him in all sorts of ways. Some of them may not have a parent named Laufey. Some of them may not be Frost Giants. Some might not be from the Nine Realms. There might even be some who never identified as "Loki" until the TVA classified them as such, by some standard only they comprehend.
In light of that, it's specious to assume that every Loki variant is "based" upon the one from the sacred timeline. Some of them are. But enough of them are from timelines remixed beyond recognition that it's hard to tell. Sylvie seems to be from timeline proximate to "our" Loki's, because she's the child of Laufey and she was adopted and she grew up in Asgard. But there might easily be a billion other factors that make the two of them as distinct as, I dunno, Thanos and Cable.
Look, the point I'm getting at here is: Why are people so afraid to ship Thanos and Cable? It's not weird! Give me that sweet, sweet Thable fanfic!

PERSONAL POST on my interaction with
I've now lived long enough to see the group of people I used to associate with unite and start a thinly veiled hate campaign that is being knowingly posted to the main tag. The thing is, I feel like I should have known. The main activity we once bonded over was the critique of Thor Ragnarok. When I saw the movie, I didn't hate it - I found it bland, very frat-like and generally soulless. Then I came online and found people who wrote long posts about everything that was wrong with it.
It all sounded plausible, but with emotions hightened to Nth degree, and it posted to a specific tag that was easily blockable. It seemed harmless enough, but in hindsight, all seeds for the actual madness were already there. The "Loki is a poor wee victim and did nothing wrong, ever" discourse was in full swing, but it was assumed (or so I thought) that it was tongue in cheek joke used by the "in" crowd. The rewrite of canon to be closer to the go-to fanfic tropes of old (most of the popular AO3 fics were about recovery post graphic torture either by Odin or by Thanos) was rampant. Again, one would think that the disclaimer about it being fantasy was not necessary because the entire fandom knew to recognise it as such. Everyone and their mother talked about slights having been done to Loki and examined them under the microscope, dutifully avoiding any talk about his misdeeds.
And you know something? Shitting on something in company is very fun. No, it actually is. It unites, there is this "in" feeling of underdogs against the world and the unspoken presumption that the critical crowd is intellectually superior for not giving in to mindless entertainment for the masses. I would know; I totally gave into the feeling for a while.
In the months before the Loki series came on, there was an increased preoccupation with the series not following the sacred Thor 1-2 Loki blueprint that depicted him as closed off, wounded, proud, extremely well dressed and (counterintuitively to the fact that he was literally shown to have the worst decisions and meltdowns) always in control of everything.
Then the series came out, and the hightened hyperfocus and the 10 years of fanwank came crashing down. Posts were made about how Loki didn't need redemption because he was a victim (??), about how he "never wanted a throne" to begin with (using lines referencing Loki's pre-frost giant mindset to talk about his post-reveal motivations, good job on basic comprehension!!). Anyone who dared to talk to Loki wrong was a torturer (Geneva convention was cited more then once). Every positive aspect of Loki's journey was vilified, because Loki was already perfect in Thor 1-2, and therefore whatever version of him the series offered was wrong. The thing about not liking the series became a self-fulfilled profecy, where no narrative except one's own fanfic would feel satisfying.
People who loved the series were very quickly driven away, either directly or indirectly through the psychological pressure of the permeating gloom. Constructive talk wasn't possible. What I encountered as a Ragnarok critical group became a Loki series hate group... They still call themselves critical through.
This was very garbled, but the conclusion is this - a firm note to self to avoid any groups primarily based around criticizing stuff. It seems harmless, and you think everyone is just innocently shooting the breeze and isn't a rabid hater, and it isn't a hate group. Chances are very high it will become a hate group down the road. The sunken cost of the many negative years is too high to allow for a change of mind. Enjoyment isn't an option when the discourse is centered around unhappiness and self-perceived oppression.

Good for You
Peter Parker had to join us some time, right? Like that was going to be a thing? Here you guys go - hope you enjoy. I’m basically easing back into writing on here with these couple songfics. “Hurts to be Human” and a new fanfic should be up in a couple days.
Summary: Various Avenger x Reader one-shots with songs from musicals. In this one — Peter Parker is struggling with guilt and PTSD, thinking everyone is turning on him. Luckily you’re there to be his light in the dark.
Warnings: Bit of angst, fluff, that sorta thing. Ends happier, I promise. There’s Peter cuddles in the end!
Tumblr media
The sound of running water echoed through the bedroom as Peter tried to relax his tense muscles. Everything was always sore and it seemed the pain had been dialed to an eleven ever since Thanos. Because so many of the Avengers were concerned for his well being, half of his time was spent staying at the Avengers facility. Aunt May didn’t mind too much. He still spent time helping with the whole “blip” incident and he wasn’t changing schools. But Dr. Strange and Bruce had voiced their concerns about the whole thing and…well, who was Peter to argue with such brilliant men? They wanted him to see the team’s therapist, take the proper steps so that he didn’t end up as dysfunctional as Tony.
Y/N helped a lot. Unlike Ned and MJ, she was an Avenger. She understood how painful it was to balance real life with the whole superhero gig. Especially at their age. Two teens in high school and already they were Avengers, fighting bad guys like Thanos.
She understood all of his fears.
Running his hands over his face, his body was starting to turn a bright pink from the steam and pelting water. Other than a dull burn, he couldn’t feel it. Still, Peter wasn’t able to bring himself to turn the knob, dial back the temp. Instead, he braced his forearms on the tile, the cold causing a small hiss to slip past his lips.
His mind was lost, blinded by the fears that were poking and prodding inside his head.
“So you found a place where the grass is greener,” May’s voice hissed as he blinked away tears. “And you jumped the fence to the other side. Is it good? Are they giving you a world I could never provide?”
Peter’s lip quivered as he blinked away tears, remembering the nightmare. It had woken him the night before, so vivid and clear that he wasn’t sure whether it was a memory or a dream. Y/N had assured him, held him through the night and still he coudn’t forget.
“Well, I hope your proud of your big decision. Yeah, I hope that it’s all that you want and more. Now you’re free from the agonizing life you were living before.” Peter’s brain had May’s tear filled eyes, stained cheeks, and wrecked voice so perfectly etched in his thoughts that it was impossible to block out. It felt so real, sounded so there.
“M-May,” he whimpered, hand pressed against his stomach. It was twisting, clenching, and it felt like he was about to throw up.
“Well, I’m sorry you had it rough and I’m sorry I’m not enough. Thank God he rescued you.”
Peter lurched as Tony’s voice echoed in his ears. Everywhere he looked there was some sort of memorial, memory, or recording. It could be anything and Tony was related to it. He was the world’s hero and they wanted to make it clear. Still, even with all those versions surrounding him day in and day out, the one that consistently haunted his memories was burned, barely living, and had that stupid gauntlet in his hand.
“So you got what you wanted, so you got your dream come true,” came Tony’s voice whispering in his ears. It quivered, weak as if he was fighting to live just to sneer this truth in the young hero’s ear. “Good for you…Good for you, kid. Got a taste of a life so perfect, so you did what you had to do…Good for you.”
“Stop…stop, please,” Peter murmured, a fist beating against the wall. The idea of Tony Stark dying disappointed in him, it broke Peter’s heart. He couldn’t live thinking like that. “Mr. Stark…Tony…”
A knock came from outside the door, lost on Peter. Y/N knew his schedule and while Peter normally took showers after working out to ease his muscles, he’d been in there for longer than normal. She was concerned. “Peter?” Her muffled voice barely came through the door and fell on deaf ears.
“Does it cross your mind to be slightly sorry?” Beck’s voice whispered in his ear. Peter spun around. Water splashed underneath him, his fingers swiftly sticking to the tile before he made a bigger mess than he’d already managed.
Beck had toyed with his mind, tormented him and made him question everything that ran through his head. The therapist was working with him to help him figure out how to overcome that fear, that trauma, but Peter was…struggling to overcome it.
“Do you even care that you might be wrong? Was it fun? Playing hero? Well, I hope you had a blast while you dragged us along.”
Peter hated that part of the dream. It was always the same, every night. Beck taunting him, then everyone that mattered to him lining up as if Peter had toyed with them all. MJ and Ned were always the last two. They were always watching him, breaking his heart while he felt like he failed as their friend.
“And you say what you need to say,” Ned sneers.
“And you play who you need to play,” MJ agreed, hugging herself. She always watched him, brow furrowed as if studying him.
“And if somebody’s in your way?”
MJ grimaced, sharing a look with Ned. Peter just wanted to reach out to them, hug them and assure them that he adore this friends more than anything. “Crush them and leave them behind. Well…I guess if we’re not of use —“
“Go ahead, you can cut me loose.”
“Go ahead now, I won’t mind.”
Peter ran his hands through his hair, body shaking as he fell to his knees. It felt like they were circling him, their bodies so close he could practically feel their presence. If he didn’t understand his reality, if he wasn’t aware that he was in fact in the shower, the ghostly feeling of them pulling him in a million directions would shatter what was left of his already fractured heart.
“I’ll shut my mouth and I’ll let you go.” May’s voice sent a shudder down his spine. “Is that good for you? Would that be good for you?” The others joined, their voices overlapping one another, deafening him.
Y/N frowned when she still hadn’t heard anything. “Peter, I’m coming in, okay?” Y/N picked the lock, swinging the door open. Inside, the bathroom was filled with steam. It rolled past her legs and she waved a hand, trying to clear the air. The mirror was covered with steam and the water from the shower had found its way outside of the tub, leaving a rather large puddle in the middle. “Peter,” she murmured, her gaze shifting to the heap curled up in the tub. She treaded carefully, moving to straddle the tub and turning off the water. “It’s just me, okay?”
Tracing his back, she listened to his soft murmurs. “All I need is some time to think,” he kept repeating, other words coming out in mumbles that she didn’t understand. She leaned forward, placing a small kiss on the mop of wet hair that his hands were still tangled in. Y/N traced along his spine, watching as his muscles slowly eased. He kept mumbling and she grabbed a washrag. Soaking it, she ran it along his back to ease him into a cooler temperature. His mind was still lost, still in his own little world. “All I need…All the words that I can’t take back…like a train coming off the track…As the rails and the bolts all crack…”
“Sh, sh,” she whispered, other hand reaching out and carefully tracing his bicep. “Peter, I’m here.”
I’ve got to find a way to stop it… “Stop it,” he begged his mind, tears flowing freely. “Just let me out!”
Peter lurched forward and Y/N quickly used her super strength to catch him. She pulled him close, his head falling on her shoulder as sobs raked through his body. His hands fell to her sides, clutching the side of the tub as she ran her fingers through his hair.
“Pete? Peter, it’s okay,” she continued whispering small assurances in his ear. Slowly, his body stopped crying. Small sniffles and shivers were the only movements made from him as Y/N tried to figure out what to do. She knew they were in a bit of a compromising position and while they had been on a couple dates, they weren’t exactly official in any sort of way.
But she wanted to look out for him.
“Can I grab you a towel?” Her voice was gentle, finally tearing through his mind. He nodded ever so slightly and she reached for the one hanging on the wall. Pulling it down, she wrapped it around him and went to work drying his back, then his arms and chest. “Come on, time to stand up.” She rose, pulling him with her before she wrapped the towel around his waist.
“Are you okay to walk?”
He didn’t move, didn’t say anything, but his eyes watched every move she made.
“Is it okay if I carry you?”
Still a little lost, he didn’t make any immediate agreement or disagreement. So, Y/N lifted him up, carrying him into his bedroom and setting him on the large bed tucked into the corner. She went to the dresser and grabbed a pair of lounge pants. He took them from her, his movements stiff as he slipped them on before laying down.
Y/N sat next to him and immediately he curled into her side. His head landed on her stomach, a hand wrapping around her hip and absentmindedly tracing the skin exposed from her t-shirt riding up. “Want to talk about it?”
He shook his head, turning so that he could nuzzle her stomach. “Not really,” he murmured as Y/N played with his hair.
“Okay…”
Silence fell between the two and Y/N watched him carefully. Peter had good and bad days and it wasn’t often that the bad days hit. When they did, they were like this. They were absolutely awful and something she wouldn’t wish on anyone. But she was glad the he at least trusted her enough to show this side of him.
“Thank you.”
His voice was soft, barely above a murmur. She smiled softly, her hand tracing along his back. Almost immediately, he relaxed under her touch. It wasn’t too long before she was greeted by his soft snores. There was no twitching, no reacting to images haunting his mind. She hoped that, maybe this time, his mind was allowing himself some sort of peace. Leaning back, she closed her eyes and thought it might be good for her to try and catch up on some much needed sleep.
“Anytime, Peter. You never have to ask.”

Top 50 Best Transformers Fanfiction Stories 2020
Tumblr media
Best Transformers Fanfiction Updates That You Must Read
Since Childhood, I am watching transformers and looking forward to becoming a transformer one day, Grew up by Reading Transformers Fanfiction Stories and was always amazed by the fictions that used to pop out from such inspiring Fanfiction Lovers. Also liking the Transformer Fanfiction Crossover a lot.
Tumblr media
If I Start Giving my Opinions about Transformers Fanfiction Lemon and Transformers Crossover fanfiction, I don't think so that I won't end the topic of Transformers Fanfiction Stories even in 24 hours. Lukas Schimik Agreed ! Don't know why everybody hates it, I think it's still my number 1 TF movie! Optimus new look, Lockdown & Galvatron, KsI (bots), Dinobots, cast ( HATED this Sam & Mikeala ) and the TF/human conflict. Still love it. Miguel GC Gamer Age of Extinction is the only film that entertains that I don't skip any parts of the movie and I like all the characters in this film and the transformers designs are great, dino bots are Awsome. Vincent H well....bad taste is also bad taste at the end of the day. I know you younger kids think that everyone is supposed to have an opinion and everything is subjective blah blah blah but if you're a cinephile than the Transformers are objectively bad films. They are cynical cash grabs made to make money in China. Bay and the producers have said as much. I mean you can like whatever you want. If you wanna listen to Teletubbies soundtrack all day that's your right....but that does mean you have shitty taste. It's okay. Not everyone has good taste. urtpro 2 I'm not hating I'm genuinely curious. I certainly like it more than Last Knight but barely lol. I'm curious the reasons why AOE fans consider it one of the better Transformers movies. I will say it was nice to switch up the protagonist and all that since Sam Witwicky had worn out his welcome by the third film. And the actress who played Wahlberg's daughter was smoking hot, so that was a plus too. Oliver Parker I thought the premise of the world hating and hunting the Transformers(regardless of Faction), cuz of what happened in Chicago(in DOTM), was kool, MW was a refreshing Main Hero over Shia tbh, and Lockdown was Badass! Honestly kinda just laughed off the whole Romeo and Juliette law thing as being just a bad movie joke! I’m mean honestly I know there’s no such law, and as such it didn’t really bother me! Just rather thought it was somewhat silly! Yann Labeille Well Lockdown was a pretty good villain for once in the movies. However Galvatron went nowhere after this. Anthony That isn't true. I saw Bumblebee yesterday and I find it Like watching E.T., the movie is just on Charlie, not really much on Bee. The only g1 part is the first 5 minutes of the movie. Too much 80s references. Sometimes is even boring for me. It Was a cute movie but absolutely not my favourite. I still prefere the first one. Aron T-900 I'd rather get vibes from ET and Iron Giant instead of witnessing stupid humor, unnecessary hot shots, dogs humping each other, unrealistic explosions, parents acting like they belong in a cartoon, patriotism and confusing slo-mo action sequences. Cam Rich I preferred the first and third ones as they have so much more action in them making the films actually entertaining, when most of bumblebee is almost like a compilation of ‘cute’ little clips of bumblebee and that annoying girl taking up almost the entirety of the movie. Max Ramirez Personally prefer the 2007 movie because it's just overall more entertaining to me. Also, you can pretty much tell Bumblebee was a movie that was directed towards kids so 2007 wins for me So Sit back and enjoy reading my favorite transformers fanfiction lemon and Transformers fanfiction Crossovers Collection. That I have collected for you guys. I Hope You Guys liked our collection of the best transformers fanfiction stories and updates that we have presented above for all fanfiction lovers out here. Transformers Fanfiction Crossover Stories 2020(Updated) Transformers is America based  Franchise that was first seen in the 1980s globally. So the first five transformers Films was directed by Michael Bay. I really believe that this was the boost up for the Transformers Fanfiction Crossover stories that I really liked about among the whole and sole of the transformers fanfiction stories including the lemon version of the franchise. Minaya Rojas Tony: We have a Hulk! Optimus: We have a Grimlock! Porg King VII Bee is here what would Optimus want with that what would he take her hostage IT SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS BEEN BRAIN WASHED BY DESEPTAGONS Siidimus Prime! Except they transform their aliens they have Real blasters Different Voices blood Etc. arfhanisbest The interesting thing is that transformers would actually make for good marvel villains. dave tasca The original transformers comics were made by marvel and marvel had to do with the original transformers tv show so they really should try to get the rights back jovinprime Poop soc This would've been more awesome if gi joe, rom the spaceknight, M.A.S.K., micronauts and the other properties interfere with the whole marvel universe and the transformers both. That would be, not only a big, giant, massive crossover event, but a... gigantic, space-involving, multiversal collusion as well Darkknight329 yes megatron hack the armor with Soundwave and turn it off then they all just step on them but they will throw hulk to cybertron and leave him to the toxic oxygen Dr. Nobody Celz On they are robots what is a snap gonna do I know buckys arm was turned to dust but still they have weapons that can make thanos cheese agnas yes because they’re alive. They go to the allspark when they die, they are alive just like us, just made of metal. Bee is here Tony: We have thanos Optimus: We have your mom Tony:0_0 ok you win now give me my mom Hoping that you guys liked our collection of the topmost fanfics about the transformers fanfiction crossover flavors that we have published above this.

Transformers Fanfiction Lemon Version 2020 Funny Part of the Franchise is that the transformer's movies, on one hand, was loved by the fans and on the other hand there were critics about the direction "Worst Director of all Time". Still, there are some dirty minded people who are always in search of the Transformers Fanfiction Lemon and some people also call it Transformers lemon Fanfiction. Night light I really want to be apart of one of micheal bays movie of transformers Flo Parsons see this is why I love transformers, because the actors ACTUALLY seem like they are having fun, and they are such fun films to watch obert Delgad Even though the movie sequels are not that great, but you have to give Michael Bay a lot of Credit for what he does. fake lol Bay is a genius I mean, I wouldn't be able to figure out the scale of you know the explosions Like the layout nig*a LOL, lol or as you typed if, Lol: an acronym for laugh(ing) out loud or lots of laughs, some say it is Lots of love, is a popular element of Internet slang. It was first used almost exclusively on Usenet, but has since become widespread in other forms of computer-mediated communication and even face-to-face communication. Alex Bruh Bumblebee knows how to pick up ladies more than Sam 😂 lala I remember being a kid and having the biggest crush for Megan. Good lord she was so hot Michael ceasar Back than I thought Sam was looking at her belly and so was I saying "Hot belly I guess." hotman 280 Michael Bay while directing: Yeah Megan arch your back, perfect perfect. Get a good shot of her sweat glistening tanned bronze body. Yeah just like that. chief ada Yeah right. That engine is a big block. Fuel injected side draft 8 barrel carburetors. Hell even the headers are up and over side mount. And the damn engine is worth more then the car. As he only paid $4500.00 That damn engine alone cost $20,000.00! Leave the critics aside all I want to know is: How did you people find our transformers fanfiction lemon version? comment down below if you guys liked this collection on some of the best lemon flavors of transformers fanfiction stories. Transformers fanfiction Bumblebee Stories Updated The best part of the Transformers franchise is that bumblebee is the only character that got most of the positive reviews. This can be a reason that people Love Transformers Fanfiction Bumblebee Version a lot. No worries because we have provided some of the best Bumblebee fanfiction stories that you will enjoy reading. Master Yoda "Wasp", "Stinger" or "Hornet" would be appropriate Decepticon sounding names as "Bumble Bee" sounds too friendly. ron 1j2j barricade is a ford mustang and bee is a Chevrolet camero trust me they will not be friends pro gmer yes i do lol they killed ironhide and ratchet and jazz and sideswipe is already missing dnt know if hes alive but hes my favorite hari bhaskar I'm Bumblebee was a Decepticon he'd be dead like the other Decepticons, because boi they sure kill Decepticons like it's nothing. mighty raju Blackout had skills. Shockwave had skills. The Fallen had skills. Yet they all died like they're nothing. Why? Cause they're Decepticons lol. It's simple rlly, they kill off Decepticons like they're nothing that's just how it is lol. habob What about “what if sentinel prime didn’t betray the autobots” I think age of extinction and beyond wouldn’t have happened since sentinel basically destroyed N.E.S.T. And also Rachet and Ironhide wouldn’t have died so the Autobots would have had a great advantage, and then Sam would still be with the autobots since he disappears after DOTMBasically, I’m saying that the Transformers franchise would have dramatically changed if Sentinel didn’t betray the Autobots. ShyGuy 15 In the movies, technically Megatron is an anti-hero. The first movie makes an acception bc he was using the allspark for pure evil, also in Aoe no reason told us what he was trying to accomplish other than detonating the seed. So 2, 3, and 5, he has reasons to his doing Rotf: using the pyramid to kill the sun and repopulate cybertron. Dotm: rebuild cybertron. TLK: kill unicron using cybertron. This is all in my own mind, not sure if anyone else agrees with me Simon Tyson I forget what it was called, but there was a comic book series where Megatron was an Autobot. It basically swapped all the characters so that Optimus, Bumblebee, Iron Hide, etc. were bad guys. Megatron, Starscream, etc. were good guys Dank Starscream If Bayformer Megatron's history is similar to the IDW comics Megatron's history...then that would mean the Autobot government was not all that good, and would be directly responsible for why Megatron turned out the way he did. Because he was a slave to their functionalist system of control, and he would have remained a slave worker miner if he didn't rise up from the lifestyle forced on him and formed the Decepticon faction... Though it seems to me that if this were the case, Bayformers Megatron would still have become a gladiator before forming the Decepticons...and then eventually he found his way into more of the politics of Cybertron after one day meeting with Optimus Prime (Orion Pax at the time) and then they became brothers/friends. In that sense...it would be similar to how the history of the two were from the show TF Prime. They could still keep the part with the whole Optimus being a knight too, somehow... So in short...Megatron really did not start out as a bad guy at all, it was the way in which he reacted to everything that made him turn out a 'bad guy'. She-Venom What if Megatron is a good guy in the movies? Simple answer is right here becuse Optimus accepted become a Prime if he didnt accept Optimus and Megatron wouldnt fight each other and best brothers it was Optimus fault he started the war i think Megatron is a good guy Hoping that you guys liked our collection of the topmost fanfics about the transformers fanfiction crossover flavors that we have published above this. People Love Bumblebee! i love him/her because bumblebee is cool, let me know why do you love Bumblebee and more importantly why do you guys love Transformers fanfiction on Bumblebee. Transformers Fanfiction OC Version  Earning a total amount of $4.3 Billion, transformers became the 13th highest-grossing film series in the world. The Transformers Fanfiction Fans Should be happy to know that the Transformers franchise grossed a total of $1 Billion each from two superhit blockbuster movies. Comment Down the names of those movies if you know them. Jack R I think the first one was more epic just cause the fight scenes were cool and it was the first time we saw something like that. But the writing and characters were absolutely horrific. Bumblebee had much better writing and characters especially the character relationship between Bumblebee and the girl which is much better than the relationship between Sam and bumblebee. Dotm Shockwave Yeah I dont know how he put tlk over revenge and extinction. The last knight is incredibly boring and the only remaining aspect left to enjoy (the action) is incredibly dull in it compared to all the other films. There are no good fight scenes. Which is likely why it bombed so hard Ur mom Gai Ok imo the last knight is my fave AND I ONLY like TF5 is cuz bumblebee new form looks good as hell and Optimus prime vs bumblebee AND there is explosions. EVERYWHERE Boss  I definitely didn't think it was my favorite. It depends on what you are looking for in a movie. If you like character relationships and a girl and her problems trying to find her way, then you'll like it. If you like transformers actions and interactions, you may not like it as much. Even though the Bay movie didn't focus enough on the transformers, this one did even less The Burden of Bordem I'm a decepticon fan and none of the main decepticons were even given a name in the movie. They were just there to be bad. The Burden of Bordem For me I think this film would have worked much better if they just had Starscream as the main villain, and maybe Barricade hunting bumblebee and give them a more personal relation ship as enemies. But like I said, it end up being a movie about a girl and her relation ship with Bumblebee and enemies getting in their way. bandwon he main character is more fleshed out than the others, Bumblebee I guess is as well, but he can't talk so it isn't by much, the story is standard E.T./Iron Giant, the acting is fine, the directing is probably better than the others, the action is good when it happens, but there is far less than the others, and non of the action reached the peak of the Bay movies. and if it wasn't for the fact there were transformers in it I probably wouldn't have really liked it, but it's enough to get you invested and entertained imo. luke jack You really think anyone's gonna take you serious after you typed "Bumble" Haha the 2007 film and DotM were pretty decent films and satisfying in the end. lisa Speaking as a male, it always annoys me, as a child, that certain plot-line of every terribly written sci-fi (mainly Transformers): "main character is a dick=likable guy" "he has 'relatable' problems, that are only explored in the first 15 minutes of the film" "He start having an abusive/creepy relationship (because that's how well written romance works, right...), with the love interest (they barely explore her name)." "1+ hour action scenes" "world is gonna explode (not really)" "Main Character and Love Interest hook up". People always call me "a pussy", because i want equal rights, and then they go make a video about "how everything is now pandering to women, and everything is Woke"... By your perfect logic... most movies are "pandering to males, and straight people only" imo  not like super duper mad, but kinda upset. It was actually kinda funny. But dude, I love what you said about Man of Steel in your DC ranking video. I love that you love Man of Steel. Not many do, and it's seriously awesome! IMO I hope You Guys Like our Collection of the best Transformers fanfiction stories along with transformers fanfiction lemon and transformers fanfiction crossover collection. Baby Pictures: How Endgame Should Have Ended (A canon-compatible fix fic)
This post and the fanfic within it contain MASSIVE spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so if you’re avoiding those, please bookmark this post and come back after you’ve seen the movie.
I've been thinking about Endgame a lot over the past few days - in particular, I've been stewing over the fact that if Bruce Banner is as smart as I am (and he’s supposed to be SMARTER), it’s COMPLETELY canon-compatible for Tony and Natasha to come back.
So if you, like me, are still periodically crying over either or both of their deaths, I just wanna say...
Tumblr media
...and I won’t even have to put a scratch on canon’s shiny, sadistic surface to do it.
Sadly, I can’t make either of them come back for future movies, but at least I can give you an imaginary world where Bruce does what he SHOULD have done in Endgame.
So without further ado, I give you:
Baby Pictures: How Endgame Should Have Ended
It wasn’t like Bruce to miss a funeral. Not if he could help it.
Especially not if the dearly departed were two of his closest friends.
And yet, as Tony’s memorial bobbed down the river, and Clint and Steve stepped forth with bouquets in memory of Natasha, the hulking scientist who’d loved them both was nowhere to be seen.
No one knew where he was. Most were too preoccupied to ask.
But Hope van Dyne was starting to suspect. She saw the look in her father’s eyes, and she alone knew his face well enough to detect the faint smile that was fighting to pierce his somber facade.
He knew something. Yesterday, when he vanished into his laboratory for several hours, he’d been doing something.
But when she caught his eye, the shake of his head was as eloquent as it was subtle. Not yet, Hope. You’ll find out soon.
-*-*-
Mournful music played softly in the background, channeled through wireless speakers connected to the laptop Tony had given Morgan for her fifth birthday.
Pepper had had to enable the device’s wireless network access; they’d deliberately disconnected it for the sake of its vulnerable user, and she’d have to do so again afterward. But Morgan had insisted that Daddy’s last present to her be part of his funeral, and Pepper wasn’t about to deny her.
The child’s lip was trembling now, her big eyes wet with a grief she was far too young to bear. Behind her, Happy’s hoarse voice whispered in a tone he probably thought she couldn’t hear, “It should’ve been me. I was his bodyguard; it should’ve been me.”
It couldn’t have been; the magic-wielding doctor who’d approached her and Tony on that fateful day five years ago had told her so after her husband’s death. He’d scoured every possibility, and only this one led to victory.
She’d wanted to scream at him, to tell him there HAD to be another way. But this was the man who’d bought them these precious last five years, who’d given away the Time Stone to save Tony’s life, because he knew that the man she loved was the key.
She had no right to be angry at him for not giving them more.
Though a burning, vice-tight throat, she’d told him not to blame himself. His answering “I know I shouldn’t” rang almost sincere, but his eyes had been heavy with the unspoken words: “but part of me still does.”
The music hit its mournful climax, ripping the breath from her aching chest, and for the sake of the child in her arms, she struggled to hold back a sob. Keep it together, Pepper, she silently demanded. Be strong for the daughter he left behind.
“ALL YOU WOMEN WHO WANT A MAN OF THE STREET!”
The sudden scream sent a jolt thundering through her body, and she and Happy instinctively leaned forward, closing protectively around Morgan as the startling music kept howling:
“BUT YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY YOU WANT TO TURN
“JUST KEEP A COMING AND PUT YOUR HAND OUT TO ME
“'CAUSE I'M THE ONE WHO'S GONNA MAKE YOU BURN!”
The hissing roar of thrusters yanked her attention to the sky, and as two shapes plunged from the sky, Pepper’s eyes and mouth went wide.
This can’t be.
They struck the ground in unison: a huge green man with a platinum-blonde woman in his arms, and a red-and-gold mechanical shell that was too familiar to be real.
For a moment, Pepper’s world froze, hope and denial colliding with a force that brought everything else to a halt.
Then the armor shrank away, nanites returning to their case and revealing the man underneath.
Dark hair. Brown eyes, blinking owlishly in the light. A smile that was slightly disoriented, but happy and wide.
And below that, a quantum suit that matched the ones worn by the Hulk and-
“NATASHA?!”
It was only when Clint’s shout rang across the gathering that Pepper realized the music had been cut. The archer lunged toward the newcomers, stumbling to a halt as he stared at the woman who was disembarking Bruce’s arms.
“And… Tony?!”
“Yup, I’m here too. Thanks for noticing. So, this is what the future looks like!”
The future? For a moment, Pepper could only stare, her grief-clouded mind struggling to understand how this could be real.
And then it clicked.
The quantum suits. Bruce’s absence. The way Tony’s eyes had skimmed across Morgan like he didn’t even recognize her.
Bruce told me he couldn’t change the past. As long as the Infinity Stones exist, they keep the timeline in one coherent flow, so what’s happened always will have happened.
That’s why Gamora was able to come to the future without changing the past, even though she was sacrificed to the Soul Stone. Her, and Natasha, and Thanos, and…
“Tony?”
She’d meant for her voice to sound stronger. It wasn’t supposed to break, or to be drowned out by Morgan’s scream of “DADDY!”
But he was here, and smiling, and alive, and the way his eyes softened when he saw her was so damn familiar…
“Pepper.” His voice was quiet, and the nervous apology in his face did not belong there. “Baby, I’m sorry – I told you no more surprises, and then-”
“You idiot.” Her voice came out halfway between a laugh and a sob, and her feet finally dislodged from the ground to which they’d been frozen. Even as the child in her arms began to squirm, Pepper rushed into her husband’s waiting embrace, pressing herself and her daughter against his chest. “This is the best surprise I’ve ever had.”
“Well, I do aim to please. Though granted, I frequently miss.”
A few feet away, a small “Oof!” sounded as Clint scooped Natasha into a crushing hug, and Morgan grinned as she wrestled her arms out from between her parents so she could hug her father properly.
“I’m glad you’re back, Daddy.”
“I’m glad to be back,” he answered warmly. “Not that I remember being gone, time shenanigans being what they are. And you must be Morgan.”
“Must be?” Confusion swept across the child’s face, and Pepper’s stomach sank. “What do you mean? Don’t you remember me?”
“Uh…” The answering voice belonged to Bruce, who drew Morgan’s attention by gently settling his ponderous hand on her tiny shoulder. “I’m sorry, kid; I had to get a version of him from before the Infinity Stones were destroyed. If I took him after that, the Stones wouldn’t have been there to keep the timeline constant, and I could’ve caused a nasty alternate reality.”
“Yeah, I’m not the most recent model,” Tony piped up apologetically. “I’m a bit obsolete, and missing a few features – like my memories of the last five years – so I might need a bit of time to get updated.”
“We’ve got my baby photos,” Morgan offered. “And my videos, like the one you took on my fourth birthday, when I threw handfuls of cake and you blew them up with your suit.”
“Wow.” A small laugh burst from Tony, and his eyes danced. “You really must be my daughter. I can’t wait to get to know you again.”
A grin lit the child’s face, and Tony pressed his family tighter against him. “I am so sorry I left you like that,” he murmured into Pepper’s hair. “I can’t imagine what you must’ve been though, losing a guy like me…”
Part of her wanted to respond with a snippy, teasing remark, but that part was drowning in tears. “It was hell,” she managed, a pained smile fighting for position with a cringe at the awful memories.
No wife should see her husband’s body empty and burned.
No mother should have to tell her five-year-old that the father she “loves three thousand” is never coming home.
“I’m so sorry, honey.” His lips were soft against her hair, and his breath was warm and real. Alive. “I will do my very best to never leave you again. At least not until we’re a hundred, and wrinkly as the Grand Canyon.”
“At LEAST not until then.” At last, a laugh began to break through the lingering echo of pain. “That should’ve been in our wedding vows.”
“Our wedding… wow. Yet another thing I managed to miss. We should have another one. I hope it’s OK that I invited Wong.”
“He was there,” Pepper pointed out, glancing at the sorcerer, who responded with a respectful nod. “Dr. Strange wasn’t, though. And neither was Peter.”
From the shadow that passed through Tony’s eyes, she suspected Bruce had told him why. “Well, that is a crying shame,” he replied softly. “A wedding without my first choice of ring bearer. Hey, Morgan, do you wanna be the flower girl?”
“Yes!”
“You know,” a new voice slid into the conversation, and they turned to see Natasha sidling up to them. “Everyone’s here in their Sunday best – think we should make the most of it?”
Tony’s eyes jumped back to Pepper, an eager echo of Natasha’s question flashing in his eyes, and the tears were finally pushed aside by a full, genuine smile. “We absolutely should.”
“All right, then! Friday, amp up the speaker on this thing. HEY, EVERYONE!” Tony’s arm rose along with his voice, and the guests all stood a little taller.
“I’d like to announce that the funeral is OVER! Of course, it was already over for me about five minutes ago. The AFTER-funeral – also known as OUR WEDDING – begins in fifteen minutes!”
Fifteen minutes. This was all happening so fast. One minute she was mourning him, now the crowd was cheering for him and Natasha, and fifteen minutes from now she was going to marry him again.
“One hour!”
All eyes turned toward Rhodey, whose face was a contrast of smiles and tears. “If you give me one hour to run to the store, I’ll get you two a cake.”
The wife and groom-to-be exchanged a glance, and now it was Pepper’s turn to shout. “The wedding begins in one hour!”
“And in the meantime… hey, Peter!”
The boy had been hovering at the edge of the group, obviously dying to hug his mentor, but too polite to intrude on the family reunion. Now Tony beckoned him closer, and Bruce stepped back to make room as Spider-man rushed forward like a puppy who hadn’t seen his owner for two whole hours.
“Mr. Stark, I can’t believe you’re alive – I mean, this is so, SO awesome – we both saw each other die – I mean, you probably don’t remember seeing me die, and that’s not the part that’s awesome, but you were dead, and now you’re not-”
And there were still dark spots on the boy’s outfit where tears had yet to dry. Pepper saw them, and she knew Tony had noticed them, too. “C’mere.”
The resurrected hero spread his arms, and Peter’s eyes went wide. “Me?”
“No, the building behind you.” As Peter craned his neck to look, Tony’s eyes rolled fondly. “Yes, you. Oof!”
Now it was Tony’s turn to get squashed as spider-enhanced arms closed around him, mashing him into the desperate hug of a child who had almost lost his third father figure in a row. “I thought we were only ever gonna get to do this twice,” the boy choked, and one of Tony’s hands left his back to gently ruin the boy’s formal hairdo.
“I do have a way of waiting until it’s almost too late, don’t I?”
“No, no, I didn’t mean that-”
“I know you didn’t. But it’s true.” With a deep, shaky breath, Tony drew away, the glisten in his eyes whispering that his family’s grief and relief were starting to spread to him. “I almost lost you, didn’t I?” His gaze strayed to Pepper and Morgan. “All three of you.”
“We almost lost you,” Pepper responded, smiling through the tears that threatened to return.
“Well, I’d promise that won’t happen again, but you know how I am with promises. For now, I think it’s time to focus on what we can get back. We’ve got an hour before the wedding, and I’d like to spend it watching baby videos and getting reacquainted with my family.”
Peter took a step back, and Tony’s gaze followed him. “My WHOLE family.”
Fresh tears rose in the boy’s eyes, and his mentor smiled. “Wat’cha think, kid? Wanna come over and get to know your kinda-unofficially-adopted little sister-”
“BUT I WANTED TO BE THE BIG SISTER WHEN YOU HAD ANOTHER KID!”
“Wanna come get to know your kinda-unofficially-adopted big sister before I co-opt you as my ring bearer?”
A grin broke across Peter’s face like sunlight as he nodded, and Pepper felt herself echoing the expression alongside Tony and Morgan.
It was all so surreal, she wasn’t sure when her still-reeling mind would be able to fully accept it. Her hand settled on her husband’s shoulder, rubbing the plate of his quantum suit in a quest to convince herself that he was too solid to be an illusion, that the way he turned and smiled at her was as real as the fingers that rose to cover hers.
Her eyes strayed to Bruce, whose grin lit his face like the star on a big green Christmas tree, and she gently let Morgan out of her arms before stepping toward the giant. “Bruce,” she said quietly, her voice choked, “I can never thank you enough.”
“Hey, I owed it to him. And you. We all did.”
But still. Her hand closed around his arm, and she suddenly yanked him downward, brushing a grateful kiss on his startled cheek. Morgan gave a soft moan of “Ew!”, and Tony grinned mischievously at her before stepping toward his friend.
“I’m getting in on this.”
“Come on, Tony-”
Too late – Tony had already planted one on his other cheek, and Peter was silently backpedaling, clearly hoping to create enough distance that it wouldn’t seem impolite for him not to join in.
Pepper was tempted to corral him into it anyway, but they had less than an hour before the wedding, and time was running out.
Besides, Wanda was stepping forward, and Pepper’s heart twisted as she thought of the hard conversation Bruce was about to have.
Vision had depended on the Infinity Stone in his head. The stone couldn’t be removed from its place in the timeline, and neither could he.
Pepper had gotten her partner back, but Wanda – and far too many others – would not be so lucky.
Beside her, Tony was visibly withering, and she reached over to squeeze his hand. This time, when he turned toward her, his smile was small and pained. “We lost Vision, didn’t we?” he whispered.
Her eyes were burning again, and she forced herself to nod. Vision was Tony’s child, just as all his robots were, and he’d been the last remnant of Jarvis.
And now he was gone.
So many people and memories were gone.
But so many had come back, and she was determined to make the most of it, for whatever time they had left. “Come on,” she said softly. “Let’s go see some baby pictures.”

Completed WIPs, May 2019--Endgame spoilers
Spoilers below!
Keep Me Hanging On by how_about_no (G, 3K)
Then, just as he smashed the hammer down on one of Thanos’ men, a gunshot whistled by so close to his ear he ducked away. His head whipped around to see a large alien down on the ground with a hole in the middle of its forehead. He looked up to see light casting a figure into a shadow.
‘Not the end of the line yet, pal.’ The figure said. Steve’s breathe escaped him. It was so familiar, this feeling. Seeing Bucky again after mourning him.
‘Bucky?’ Steve sounded breathless even to his own ears.
*
The battlefield reunion we never saw, and what should've happened after.
The Way Out Is The Way Back by unconscious (E, 23K)
Sometimes Bucky feels inconceivably old. A soldier’s body is a miracle. His is, in a way, a terrible frightening cyborgian way. What staggering odds that a thrice-resurrected man and a man brimming with irrepressible life would find each other like this. These feelings, he thought his body had forgotten them. That they had died with his heart.
If there’s one truth about Bucky’s overlong, pain-ridden, sometimes heartbreakingly lucky life it’s this: Nothing about him ever really dies.
After Steve leaves, Bucky and Sam try to pick up the pieces.
old man rogers by riddleinacapitalm (T, 2K)

POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK
January 1947
Steve turns the tap on cold, wincing at the water running over his palm. It's not even necessary, probably—little burn like this, he'll be healed up in minutes—but old habits die hard. Stick your hand on a stove burner, you run cold water on it. That's what his Ma taught him to do. It's what a person does.
“I'm sorry—” Bucky's choked-off voice comes from the kitchen doorway, where he's standing stock-still, looking at Steve with wide eyes and clutching his left arm to his side. He's wearing long sleeves, like always, and it's just past five but the sun's already going down, last light glinting off the metal of his left hand.
[A canon-divergent ace!fic by panacea_knits for RBB 2019, art by the_genderman]
But We Were In Screaming Color by linzeestyle (AO3 account required) (E, 36K)
Steve's world has been black and white since 1945, colors burned out like a funeral pyre.
This isn’t supposed to happen.
He Woke Me Up Again by avengingbucks, captaindumbass (E, 96K)
Steve knows a lot about college. He knows not to slack off until he knows which teachers to slack off with. He knows not to leave his laundry in the machines overnight. He knows that he’s going to gain 10lbs and get sick. He knows not to sleep with his roommates, which shouldn’t be too difficult as his only roommate is Sam and the mice that live in the kitchen cupboards of their freshman accommodation. He’s read about it and he’s watched enough movies, he’s got this college thing in the bag. That's until a sharp-witted guy with an even sharper jawline comes into his life, there's not enough list-acles or Reddit threads in the world that can prepare him for that.
Completed but currently reworking (Chapters 1-7 done)
Stuck by CardcaptorGhost (M, 13K)
This is a post-endgame fanfic, if you have not seen endgame then do not read there will be spoilers to the movie.
Steve returns the stones to the correct point in time but gets stuck in the past.
The End of the Line by JJK (M, 18K)
A post Endgame Stucky fix it fic to give Steve and Bucky the closure they (and we) deserve.
=
Steve goes back to replace the stones and rescue Bucky.
One More Night by whendoestheshipsail (E, 26K)
The relationship between Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers has always been co-dependent, but it didn't go off the rails and straight into depravity until Bucky was about to be shipped out to war. When Steve decides to push Bucky's buttons the night before he leaves, Steve gets more than he ever expected. As the war goes on, their ability to find comfort in each other leads them both into a lust so primal and carnal Bucky worries it will destroy them both. After the Snap, Steve thought they'd find their way back to each other. Apparently not. Determined to find normalcy, Steve goes back to the past and very quickly realizes that he was never cut out for the apple pie, fall in line and just retire sort of life. Steve needs violence and some pain with his love...and somewhere in the 40's is a Winter Soldier who can give it to him.
Your Words are Mine by literato (T, 6K)
He can even picture him-- hunched over a notebook, probably one of Steve's sketchbooks, and writing furiously, endlessly while Steve snored beside him, completely stupid and unconscious. The deep strokes of the pen are almost signs of anger or frustration, but reading the letter, Steve can only feel the surreal amounts of love Bucky has for him.
or
when Steve goes back in time, he finds a letter written in Bucky's handwriting.
(an Avengers: Endgame Fix-It)
But One Man Loved by spooky_action (E, 20K)
Bucky had agreed. Of course he had. *Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.*
Looking For A Place To Hide by whendoestheshipsail (E, 33K)
SPOILERS for Endgame Ahead!!! * * *
It's 2012 and all Steve knows is that another version of himself said Bucky is alive. Steve will do anything to get his friend back, even if it means time traveling to 2023. He expects Bucky to be happy to see him, but instead he's wary, hurt. Turns out his Steve had left him for Peggy. How? Why? Steve can't believe it. Now he'll have to find a way to make sense of it all, and convince Bucky that it's the two of them to the end of the line.
Because that shit happened yo and I'm just trying to make sense of an OOC and bonkers ending.
A Bend in the River by ilsontdesames (T, 11K)
Time meant everything and nothing at once. Some lucky ones got to have their do-overs, and others had to move on. And him, he’d been living outside of time for decades now. Waking up from the snap of Thanos’s fingers felt no different than all of the times he’d been thawed out, eyes opening to strange faces looking back, to a world that seemed to have gone on without him just fine. The world is better without the Winter Soldier. He knew this. Steve knew this.
The Long Way by writewithurheart (G, 7K)
It takes Steve Rogers awhile, but he gets there.
Or the missing scenes where he says goodbye, hello, and lives an entire life.

My Very Spoilery Endgame Review - What I Liked, What Annoyed Me, and Two Questions I Am Left With
I was very satisfied and enjoyed it very much. The theater burst into applause in several instances and it was great to celebrate the end of an era with fellow fans.
Now for the spoilery critiques and praise.
My favorite moments were:
Thor reconciling his self-image and self-worth with his mother
“I’m still worthy.”
Loki escaping and (hopefully) living in at least one timeline - because if Steve went back to “trim the branches” then this means he returned the Tesseract to 1970. Which means the branch where Loki snagged the Tesseract and was not imprisoned on Asgard may have endured*.
Ken Jeong’s cameo.
Stan Lee’s cameo.
Banner coming to terms with who and what he is and living comfortably with the Hulk.
Basically everyone really leaning into the self-love  and self-value by the end of the film.
“That is America’s Ass”.
“I could do this all day.” “Yeah, I know.”
“How can I? You’re taking all the stupid with you.”
“Ha! I knew it!”
“I am Iron Man.”
Scott finding Cassie alive.
Wong’s exasperated reply to Strange’s “Is that everyone?”
Nebula’s redemption. This is a princess (as Squidward calls Thanos “sire”) who saves her own damn self.
How the thing that gave the game away to Thanos was actually really clever and well executed; this wasn’t a “heroes are just stupid this one time” (like how Quill screwed the pooch in Infinity War when they had the damn glove). It was something that I genuinely hadn’t thought of, and I assume no one, not even Nebula, would have thought of. It worked. And it worked well.
All the ladies supporting Carol in the final battle - which was awesome but also felt a bit like the moment was added only so the Russos could check it off a “don’t piss off the feminists” list.
How the final battle set it up well for the next phase - I liked how the Glove Relay was from an OG Avenger (Hawkeye) to the new Avengers - Black Panther, Spider-man, and Captain Marvel.
“I love you 3000″.
Falcon!Cap - finally! Yay!
The sound of the armor that started it all being forged as the endcap of the credits.
However.
I wish Bucky and Steve had also had a meaningful moment at the end, like Steve and Sam, something that made it clear that even though Steve was older now, he was no less Bucky’s best pal.
I'm very, very annoyed that they Fridged Natasha. I mean, I get it. Someone had to die. And we all knew Hawkeye was going to go back to his family, so it wouldn’t be him. And I do love how they did the death, how Nat and Clint fought with one another to the be the one to make the sacrifice. And her death would have been especially cheap if Bruce had just Snapped her Back. I get it.
And if there wasn’t a long history of Fridging female character to ensure the male ones have enough Man-Pain to have a character arc and impetus to be a hero, then you know what? This would have been a really moving sacrifice. It would have really worked.
But there is. And in light of that, it’s left me... itchy. Uncomfortable. Because in the context of the film alone it was a great death. But in the context of the history of comic book narratives, it sucked.
Also, what does this mean for the Black Widow movie? Will it actually be a prequel? Will it be Budapest? And if it is Budapest, will they use the same actors, or cast new, younger ones?
I also don't understand the narrative reason why they had to make so many fat jokes around Thor.
I mean, yeah, it makes sense he was depressed and stopped taking care of his heath, and self-medicated with booze and food. This was a strong and meaningful narrative and I really liked that he was given the opportunity to mourn, to question his purpose, to become more than just muscles and a hammer in terms of character construction. That he could grieve and struggle, and be filled with crippling regret that kept him indoors and hiding, and filled self-loathing.
As a character choice it made sense. And I liked that he was still a powerful warrior while chubby, and that he didn’t magically become slim again when he suited up. It was wonderful to see him be no less powerful, dangerous, dedicated, and no less kick ass while sporting a keg instead of a sixpack.
But they leaned awfully hard on that “fat joke” button and by the time Rhodey said “Cheez Whiz?” I was over it. Its got tedious and frankly a bit insulting.
Teasing someone for suffering because he lost literally everyone he loved is not cool. The jokes fell flat, for good reason. They were cruel.
And when the Russos announced that they had included the MCU's first openly gay character I was hoping that it would be a main character, not some rando dude in a talk therapy meeting. I wanted Bucky and Sam to confess feelings, or Bucky to Steve even if Steve couldn’t return them, or Valkyrie to at least have a wife in New Asgard, or something.
But TBH it didn't surprise me that they made it some nameless dude in group support. Like J.K. Rowling, the Russos are happy to queerbait but too cowardly to commit, and they always have been. I’d be annoyed but it’s not worth the energy.
At least when the guy mentioned his boyfriend it was a “no big deal” mention, and nobody made a “are you cool with this, Cap?” thing to really point out that ooooo, this dude is queer.
But those are my only gripes. The rest of it was thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying.
Especially all the little call backs. The "I am Iron Man" and “I could do this all day” stuff - it felt like little gifts to the fandom.
However, I have two questions.
1) When people were Snapped Back, were they Snapped to their previous exact geographical location? Because if so, what about people who had been in transit? Did people who were Snapped Away while in a plane just... appear mid-sky and plummet to their deaths? Were people on spaceships Snapped Back into the void of cold space? We saw in Infinity War that helicopters crashed into city streets - the pilot, that means, was Snapped Away. When that pilot came back, where did he come back? Did Bruce think to Snap them all into safe places? (I mean, I assume the Stones accounted for Spacial Drift and the location of planets in orbit... maybe it accounted for people who would have Snapped Back into deadly situations?)
2) I do love that Steve and Peggy got their life together At that point Pegs would have been like... at least 10 years older than Steve? Maybe 15? What would her neighbors think of Sugar Momma Peggy Carter and her Very Much Younger (Looking) Husband?
Did she introduce him to anyone? Did they have neighborhood BBQs? At that point everyone would have known who Captain America/Steve Rogers was so did no one recognize him? What did they say? (Did we get Beardy Steve back???) They had kids, canonically, so was Steve able to attend their T-BAll games and school plays?
One assumes that Sugar Baby Steve would have been the House Husband, because Pegs was running Shield and Steve was out of the game. He’d never be able to show his face at SHIELD because Howard would recognize him, and so would Arnim Zola, so HYDRA would have known that Captain America survived and I imagine they would have given anything to get him into the Chair.
It makes me think that Sugar Baby House Husband Steve would have been very isolated and possibly lonely. Maybe he had a few neighbor friends, but can you image how torturous it must have been to live so privately? To know that Bucky was out there suffering and being tortured and brainwashed and that he couldn’t do anything about it? He couldn’t go save his best pal?
That Peggy could never bring him to the SHIELD Christmas party, to visit her new baby godson Anthony, never attend anything with him.
And it makes me think Steve had to vanish from her life right when his earlier self entered it so like... as soon as she started getting sick enough with Alzheimer's he had to leave.
Because that’s when younger Steve came into her life, and started visiting her in the nursing home.
But he had to abandon her when she needed him most, and that is very tragic. How did Steve reconcile that with himself? Especially with returning to a future where she was dead and his friends were alive and he didn’t need to be the Secret Sugar Baby House Husband any more?
All in all, it was very enjoyable and I will watch it again.
And I look forward to the FanFic.
* This means that Loki in that branch also likely did not participate in the battle against the Dark Elves. His character growth in that moment was likely delayed, but I believe he ultimately would have processed his extreme confusion, self-loathing, and hatred of his betrayal by his “family” Thor enough to join forces with him against the destruction of the universe when it mattered. Perhaps having the extra time to do so might have even served him better.  I don’t know if this means Odin chose to die and Hela was released, thus triggering the destruction of Asgard. I don’t know what this would have meant for Ragnarock - possibly with Odin as the King when he died the defenses would have been better (though I argue the culture and peace of Asgard thrived under Loki, especially with his dismantling of the Empire and the valuing of the Arts) and they would have saved Asgard or at least not lost so many.
And if Asgard had not survived, perhaps in this version something different may have happened, and Loki wouldn’t on the survivor ship. Perhaps he was on a different ship. Perhaps he wasn’t present for the battle at all and in a completely different part of the universe.
If he was elsewhere this means
a) The Asgardian survivors would have lived because Thanos wouldn’t have targeted the ship, and Thor would have been less self-loathing.
b) When Thanos found Loki with the Tesseract in this branch, it’s likely Loki was able to ingratiate himself to Thanos and gave the Stone to him without Thor there to tip his hand toward an immediate betrayal murder attempt. I subscribe to the theory that Loki was just as mind-controlled during The Avengers and the Battle of New York as Barton (though I wouldn’t call Loki totally innocent in everything) and that he had been suffering from extreme mental health issues following his unsuccessful attempted suicide. In this case, he would be willing to play the long game to get his revenge on his abuser Thanos. Then, later, hopefully, he joins Thor’s side to save the universe against Thanos (as he did against the Dark Elves)- betraying Thanos and perhaps stopping the Snap before it happened in that timeline. Or if not stopping the Snap, perhaps being a part of the new Avengers if he survived it, or joining in the final battle if he was Snapped Away.
Anyway - I have lots of Loki Thoughts. Feel free to adopt any Plot Bunnies this may have generated in reading this.

Your fanfic my body's made of shell is amazing and I've read it so many times it's not funny. I was wondering if you'd ever consider doing a version from Thor's POV? I'd love to know what was going through his mind while finding out that Loki is still alive.
hey here have a completely unedited mess!!!
better to love than to have and to hold, companion to this fic, thor pov, 3.4k because I am incapable of self control
Thanos was gone.
And with him, half the universe.
In Wakanda, Thor folded to the ground as the last thing that had been holding him up was ripped away, and he was left only with the crushing weight of his losses.
**
None of them really knew what to do.
There was the general feeling that they ought to do something, but what that could be - it was too big, Thor thought. Too much. They hadn't stopped Thanos. They didn't know where he was, to avenge the lives he'd stolen. They were frozen. They were drowning.
Three days after Thanos had achieved his goal and cracked the world in two, and Thor sat at the top of Warrior Falls, staring at nothing and wondering, a little, why he had bothered to rise this morning at all.
The kimoyo beads on his wrist - a gift Thor had done nothing to deserve - lit up with a message. It was the newly crowned queen; so young, and already carrying so much grief, Thor thought unhappily.
"Yes," he said, to indicate he was listening.
"Thor," Shuri said, and in that one word Thor heard her tension and unease and was immediately on alert. "Come to my lab. Right away."
"What," Thor started to ask, but she had already closed the connection, looking over her shoulder at something behind her. Thor didn't really need more information than that, though. He didn't know the princess well, but she wouldn't react like this, or contact him so urgently, for a trifle. Which meant that there was trouble. A part of Thor wondered wearily how much more trouble there could be, but he knew that the truth was 'always more.' If his life of late had shown him anything, it was that.
He made his way back down from the mountains toward Birnin Zana (empty, so empty, and too quiet) and from there to Shuri's lab. He'd been there before, in the early aftermath, when they'd been trying desperately to perform triage on a universe that was bleeding out. He'd been there since. He and the young princess had both lost a brother. And she now knew the burden of ruling a decimated people. Thor only wished there was more solace he could offer her.
The door in didn't open automatically at his approach. Thor paused, and he could hear raised voices inside - Okoye, it sounded like, her voice sharp, dangerous, attacked, don't know. He tapped lightly and it fell silent.
A moment later the door opened and Shuri looked up at him, her expression somber. Thor tensed. "What is it," he asked, and she opened her mouth, then closed it and stepped back.
"He just - appeared," she said lowly. "Inside our borders. The Dora Milaje found him, and when they told me...I thought maybe..."
Thor heard himself make a sound - a low moan, wounded-animal sound. It was Loki, lying there, his body still and limp as the last time Thor had seen him, held him, cheek pressed to his unmoving chest. His eyes were closed now rather than open and staring, which seemed like a mercy, at least, but Thor still wavered, his stomach lurching into his throat. At least, a part of him thought, at least his body hadn't been torn apart in space, he deserved, at least, the honor of a proper burning.
"Thor," Shuri said, some urgency in her voice, "he's not dead."
Thor's head whipped around. "What?" He said. Shuri gestured and Thor looked back at Loki, taking in the details he'd missed at first. The fact that he was limp rather than stiff as a corpse gone cold, and as he drew closer, scarcely daring to believe, the very slight rise and fall of his chest. Thor's inhale hurt and came out as a helpless sob, and he could not even feel ashamed.
"He was conscious for a while after the Dora Milaje found him," Shuri said. "Lashed out at them - they're not seriously harmed," she added quickly. "I think he did more harm to himself panicking than he did to them. He's been unconscious since." She paused. "His neck..."
The awful, soul-rending crack echoed in Thor's ears. He didn't take his eyes off Loki. Knowing that he lived somehow made the livid bruises ringing his throat all the more hideous; he could see now, though, the force field that cradled his head and neck, keeping both aligned. "I know," Thor said hoarsely. If Loki was alive - he should be healing. Except - maybe there wasn't enough left in him to both survive and mend himself. "Can you...fix it?"
"Yes," Shuri said. "It's...bad, but it could be worse. I'll need to call in a proper doctor, though, and I..." she hesitated. "I'm sorry to ask this, but...is it likely that he will survive? Because if not...there are so many of my people who need help, and I have a duty to them."
Thor's first reaction was rage: how dare you, how dare you place the lives of humans above my brother's, but a moment later he was ashamed. And besides...he laid a trembling hand on Loki's forehead. His skin felt damp with sweat and too warm, but it was the sweat and warmth of the living. "He will," Thor said. "If Loki has come this far..."
All this time, a part of him thought. Days, Loki had been alive, and in pain, and alone. How had he even managed to come here? How much strength had he expended that he couldn't spare?
"May I stay?" He asked.
"Yes," Shuri said at once. "Yes, of course. And I'll...I'll find a doctor with the right experience."
"Thank you," Thor said, hushed. He still could not look away from Loki. He moved his hand to rest against his cheek, careful not to jostle his head.
He couldn't move away. It felt like if he did, if he took even a step back, Loki would be gone.
Thor did make himself move eventually, but only to find a chair for himself so he could sit beside Loki and hold his hand, fingers resting over the pulse in his wrist, slow and weak but there, there, there.
**
Loki remained still as death until the doctor came to examine him. The moment she touched him to test mobility, his eyes snapped open and he made a horrible snarling sound. His magic lashed out even more violently, sending the doctor skidding across the floor; Loki tried to claw himself upright, but the second his head lifted away from the field that had been supporting him, he screamed and collapsed back down. His breathing was harsh and noisy, whistling in and out of his lungs as he panted.
Thor bent over Loki, his eyes open but unseeing, eyelids fluttering. He looked so afraid, and Thor’s heart ached. "Loki," he said, trying to keep his voice calm. "It's me. It's Thor. Do you hear me? You're safe now." Loki's eyes rolled with unreasoning terror and he shuddered in seizure-like spasms, seemingly unaware that Thor was there at all. Before too long, though, and without responding, he seemed to exhaust himself back into unconsciousness.
The doctor, for her part, picked herself up off the floor and refused to come any closer.
"It isn't his fault," Thor protested, but he couldn't truly blame her. She hadn't been seriously hurt, but she could have been. He bent his head forward, looking down at Loki. Was it his imagination, or did his head look more askew on his neck, that wrongness to the angle more pronounced?
Shuri forced him out, her expression tight. "I'm going to try to make a better brace," she said. "While we figure out what to do." Thor walked outside in a daze, thoughts and feelings a hopelessly tangled muddle.
Loki was alive, he told himself. Right now, that was all that mattered.
"Thor," he heard, and looked up to see Steve jogging toward him. "I heard something had happened--" The fear - the dread - was naked on his face. His friend had aged, in Thor's absence - the burdens he bore grown heavier. Thor supposed that was true for them all. For a moment he considered lying - it was nothing, everything is fine - but...
"It's Loki," he said. The confusion on Steve's face made him add, "he's alive."
"You said..."
"That Thanos killed him? I thought he had. He--" Thor swallowed, and made himself go on. "Strangled him. And broke his neck. I held his body and I was certain--" He'd been certain on Svartalfheim, too. No more resurrections, Thanos had said, and Thor felt a surge of spiteful pleasure: you were wrong. You underestimated him.
"Somehow," Thor managed, at length, "he survived. And made his way here."
"Here," Steve said, glancing past Thor like he thought Loki would appear. It occurred to Thor belatedly that perhaps his friends would not find this such welcome news. That perhaps his friends might resent that Thor had been given this gift, and those they loved were still lost.
"Yes," he said. "Though he is not...he is still wounded."
Steve's face was blank for a long moment before he dropped it into his hands. "God," he said. Thor waited, and Steve looked up, finally. "I'm glad," he said. "I'm glad for you. And if there's, I don't know, anything I can do to help, anything you need...it'd be nice to be able to do something." His lips twisted in a wry smile that didn't move the rest of his face.
Steve's acceptance made Thor sad more than it relieved him. "Thank you," he said. "If there is anything...I'll let you know."
**
Thor left Loki very seldom over the next days. Shuri designed, as she’d said, a new brace for Loki’s neck that was more solid than the force field and was apparently able to ease some of Loki’s pain. Thor asked twice more for someone who would work on Loki, but after the third failure Shuri put her foot down. "I can't ask people to put themselves in danger when it's not helping," she said flatly.
"Are you giving up, then?" Thor demanded, his temper heating, but she held her ground.
"No," she said. "I'm working on it. Or - having it worked on." She looked, for just a moment, unbearably tired, and then visibly straightened. Too old for her age, Thor thought. "Hopefully we'll have something soon that can make it so we can help him without him attacking us."
Thor glanced unhappily over at Loki. "How soon?"
"I don't know," Shuri said. "I can't just help you. My people need..." Her voice faltered a little, but she caught herself.
"I know," Thor said, shame creeping into his heart. "I know how great a burden you bear. And I am grateful, impossibly grateful, that you are helping me at all. I only ask because--"
Something caught Thor's attention and he paused, frowning, though at first he couldn't have said why. Loki, he thought, and looked toward him, realizing that the rasp of his breathing had changed rhythms
"Loki?" Thor said carefully.
Loki took a rattling breath and jerked, his left hand flying up to the new brace around his throat and clawing at it. Before Thor could reach him, his hand glowed green and the brace simply dissolved under his hands.
Loki's howl of pain cut Thor to the quick. He grabbed Loki's wrists and held them. "Hold still, Loki," he said. "You need to - it's meant to help. You're hurting yourself."
Loki went still all at once, ceasing even to breathe. Thor jerked his head at the Dora Milaje by the door, keeping his gaze on Loki; his eyes were wide open but unfocused. When the fresh brace closed around his neck, he started shaking; Thor thought of Thanos's hand on Loki's throat and his grip on Loki's arms tightened. "It's all right," he made himself say. "Stay calm."
Loki opened his mouth like he was going to speak, but all that came out was a horrible rasp. Thor took a deep, uneven breath. "If I let go," he said, "you have to leave the brace alone."
Loki's eyes seemed to clear a little, his eyebrows pulling together. Thor tried to give him an encouraging smile, though he wasn't sure how well it worked. It didn't seem to soothe Loki, at any rate, his breathing picking up again, rasping in and out. His right arm twitched and Loki's face spasmed, a sound like a whine squeezed out of him.
"It's all right," Thor tried. "I'm here." He couldn't tell if it mattered. Loki didn't really seem to relax. Thor kept his hold on his wrists, wary of the possibility that Loki might try again to remove the brace, as he turned to look at Shuri. A real doctor, she said. Reminding him again that this was temporary. That she could keep Loki stable but not heal him. That if they could not find the means to keep Loki from hurting those trying to help, it was possible he wouldn't recover.
He let go slowly after Shuri left. "Thor," Loki said, his voice almost unrecognizable as his. "You're - alive."
Thor's breath exploded out of him and he almost buckled. "So are you," he said, pressing a hand to Loki's chest where he could feel his heart. "So are you." He wanted to weep, to clutch Loki to his chest and hold him there - but he was all too aware that he was far more likely to hurt than help.
Every word out of Loki's mouth made Thor want to wince. His voice didn't sound like his - hoarse, rasping. An audible reminder of what had happened, and of the pain that Loki was feeling now. But at least he was awake, and coherent. He looked at Thor with a kind of desperate hunger that made Thor ache. Like he was as afraid that Thor might vanish as Thor was that Loki would.
When Loki dropped off again, he hadn't asked about Thanos, or what had happened. In truth, Thor was relieved. That wasn't a conversation he thought either of them was ready to have. Not now. When Loki was well.
**
You'll be here? Loki had asked, when Thor had asked if he was willing to try again with the doctors. Speaking still sounded like it hurt, and there was something agonizingly raw in his voice and his face, in the way he asked. Scared, young.
Yes, Thor had said. I'll be here. As though his presence had ever been enough. And yet Loki still asked.
Within moments of being given the drug Wakanda’s scientists had crafted, Loki was awake, aware, but unable to so much as clench a fist. Almost immediately his breathing turned quick and ragged: the sound of oncoming panic. Thor put his hands on Loki's shoulders and pressed down lightly. "Easy, brother," he said. "It's all right."
Knowing what it would be, expecting that it would hurt, and hoping that hurt now would mean less later, wasn't the same as watching it happen.
Wakanda's healers were far more advanced than any of the other doctors Thor had seen on Midgard, but they still had to cut into Loki's flesh to reach and set the bones of his spine. No tension tightened Loki's body as flesh parted under the knife, but he made a small pained noise. Thor shushed him, his stomach turning. They had been able to manage this much, but anesthetic and painkillers had been deemed too dangerous to experiment with by the doctors. Which meant this was going to hurt.
"I'm here, Loki," he said, hoping it would help. "I'm right here, it's going to be over soon."
It wasn't. Or at least, it seemed like an eternity. Loki started screaming when they reached bone, a sound that cut Thor through, his every instinct screaming at him to throw the doctors out, to rip them away from Loki and end the pain they were causing him. He held himself back with gritted teeth, bending down to murmur in Loki's ear, desperate attempts at comfort that Loki didn't seem able to hear.
Eventually, enough was enough, and Thor breathed a sigh of relief when Loki cut off, either mind or body apparently unable to take any more.
Thor couldn't actually watch the doing of it. The work of pressing Loki's vertebrae back into line, the intimate reminder of how close Loki had brushed to death. He looked away, though he left his hands on Loki's shoulders until it was done, like his unconscious brother might feel them there.
"He should stay still and resting for a while yet," the head doctor said, looking a little shaken. "And leave the brace on." She hesitated. "Someone will need to remove the stitches--"
"I can," Thor said firmly. "I have experience with it. And you have - too much to see to." She seemed grateful, if Thor wasn't mistaken, and nodded.
Soon he was alone, with Loki still unconscious. Was it Thor's imagination, or did his color look better? Was his breathing coming a little easier? He scarcely dared hope, and yet it crept up on him anyways.
**
Thor remembered clearly the first time Loki had been seriously injured. They'd been playing Frost Giant and Asgardian, with Thor playing the former and Loki the latter. Roaring ferociously about how he was going to eat Loki when he caught him, Thor pursued Loki with what he hoped was his most fearsome expression, Loki's nimbleness and speed barely keeping him out of Thor's reach. Suddenly, he'd bent his path, bolting for a tree, and climbed it like a squirrel. Thor had started up it after him, scrambling for purchase as Loki climbed higher, laughing.
"You can't catch me!" He'd said, looking back as he reached up, grasping for the next branch up. Thor saw it about to happen and reached himself, like he could catch Loki from below, stop him from falling. (As he had, centuries later, when Loki hung over the void and let go.)
Loki did fall. And landed with a sound like a branch snapping underfoot.
Thor hadn't bothered to climb back down, just jumping to the ground and rushing over to Loki, who was sitting up and staring at his arm bending the wrong way with wide eyes. It seemed to take him several moments to register the pain and started crying.
"It's all right," Thor had said, almost frantically. "Loki, it's all right, come with me, let's just go to the healers and, and they'll fix it. Here, take my hand and squeeze as hard as you want."
Loki had looked at him, gasping between sobs, and said only, "Thor," something plaintive in it, like he thought Thor could make everything better. He couldn't, he knew that even then, knew it looking at Loki's arm that he couldn't fix. But he wanted to, so badly it hurt. Wanted to live up to that look on Loki's face: the belief, the faith, like Thor was his hero.
Here they were now, a long way from then, and looking at Loki lying in repose Thor felt that need again. To make everything better.
Loki still did not know about Thanos's victory. Thor would have to tell him, sooner or later - sooner would be better. But he didn't want to. Didn't want Loki to know how badly he had failed - not just at stopping the Titan, but at avenging Loki, Heimdall, their people. That he'd been within a breath of finishing it, and had not. Had needed the satisfaction of looking in Thanos's eyes as he died, and for that--
For that, this.
What would Loki think of him? Thor told himself it did not matter. That what mattered was Loki's being here. But Loki was all that was left, and Thor did not want to bear his scorn, his anger, his disappointment.
He shoved the dark thoughts away, focusing instead on what was good. Loki, here. The bruises at last fading, his breathing easier, color a little better. Mending. Not well, but mending.
Norns, he was exhausted. Thor couldn't remember the last time he'd slept. Perhaps if he just closed his eyes for a little...
He dreamed of Loki laughing, scrambling up the tree, reaching for a branch that wasn't there. This time, Thor caught him. This time, Loki didn't fall.

Personal Opinion of Winx 8 & Valtor himself
Tumblr media
Time flies fast isn't it? Winx Club almost turned 15, I can't imagined how far we have come. I've been following Winx Club since 2008 and I am now 19. 😂 But seriously, it's insane that winx almost turn 15 in the next few days, so we have to make sure we are fully prepared ourselves with leaks concept arts from the Milano exhibition and the Winx 8 surprise. (Especially Valtor, I'm hype!)
Okay, maybe some of you are still wondering why I like him so much. 😂 But yeah I admit it, my heart was striked by the time I saw him in the first glance since season 3 episode 1. Since we are nearing to the anniversary, I'll tell you all why I like about him 😁 :
Tumblr media
On season 3 episode 1, I saw him broke out from the ice barricade. Of course he was kinda old and he stretched his arms and his neck after being frozed for 17 whole years. But hey, after seeing all his powers and his capability (and his tones and personality for extra), I was like : "Oh wow, I think my eyes just locked on him." Reason? Manipulative checked, charming checked, powerful checked. He's like 99% my favorite villain character of all times! The way he holds the magic, or maybe he can just snap his finger? (Now I'm making him sounded like Thanos *facepalmed myself*, nevermind that guys ahahaha.....)
Especially on Nick version. He just said to bloom around like this : "You're threatening me, *laugh* how cute...." (winx 3 episode 5)
Now that, is making me blushed, and my face gone pink and warm. Like, did he just said that? Or is it just my hearing problem? I repeat it again and he said it. Like, oh wow. He just touched my heart like that.
Well that's the nick version. But still if he didn't say that, he's still my favorite supreme wizard. :3
Another thing that came to my mind is : "But wait, he's old, why should I like him?" Yep, back then I thought I was insane, but I had another idea. Back then I was currently making a plotline story for my OC's fanfiction, which is firstly takes place on Deltora Quest anime dimension. Then I planned to move to Winx Club (Magix Dimension) where my OC (Ashley) has to find his older brother to restore her family. I happened to become confuse who will be her brother/ how should I make him like? I'm bad at drawing many males (especially with the hairs) except some males with medium long haired.
Tumblr media
I rewatched Winx Season 3 from scratch for gathering informations of the storyline. Back then I've watched it twice so far since then. Then I happened to spot Valtor again. And I was thinking : "Why not making him as Ashley's older brother?" After several opinions and solving the confusions in my mind, I've finally concluded that Valtor will be Ashley's older brother. Also making sure that he's not too old to be her older brother in my fanfic version. (Making him around the age of 35)
That's about it for my reasons why I loved Valtor and his personalities. I wanted to say this due to Winx Club that almost reached 15th. But of course, Valtor is not my only favorite character from Winx Club. For the main casts, Icy, Bloom, Musa, Daphne, and Roxy are my favorites.
That’s all about it. I feel like I wanted to share my thoughts with you all, so yeah. Thanks for hearing my pep talk :3 If you want, you can share in the comment or reblog of what you like about winx 8 and Valtor ^_^
