Daydream Hour Page - How to make an Elven Communication Fairy (Homunculus)
I just did this using Google's machine translation tools, and I didn't clean it up, but you can get the gist of it. I saw Japanese fans on twitter going wild with this information the day the Daydream hour came out, so I already knew there was something about blood and semen, but it's so fun to get more information about how the fairies work!!!
Tumblr media
Keep an eye on Savaralyn 's tumblr because I'm sure they'll post a better, cleaned up version of this soon, and reblog that one because it'll be easier to understand but... This is just so cool! The fairies are homunculus, and so the reason they look like their owners is because they're literally made of their semen (reproductive fluids) and fed their blood. Blood and semen and other body fluids are frequently used in real world magic or religious rituals so it's really cool that Kui is being unflinching about using it here, even if it's "gross" to us modern people... I love seeing it acknowledged in a fictional work! tl;dr alchemists used to believe that there was A Little Man inside the sperm but because the baby sometimes looks like the mother, they are absorbing traits from her through the Blood.... and so if they can make a baby Only With Sperm they can make a little man 100% in their own image. But Dungeon Meshi and especially the elves don't seem to have the same sexism that we have in the real world... Real world alchemists wouldn't think about how women are supposed to do alchemy without semen, they just would exclude women I'm pretty sure, but elves don't seem to exclude female elves so, how are female elves getting their fairies? Either: - Only male elves can make a fairy and so they construct them for female elves. - Female elves need to get semen from a male elf (or whoever, does it have to be elven semen?) to make their fairies. - Female elves use female ejaculate (Ryoko Kui confirming female ejaculation real in Dungeon Meshi universe??? Joking) - Female elves use menstrual fluid that has a shed egg in it instead of semen (equivalent reproductive fluid to male semen)
If you have to get someone else's semen for your fairy does it not look like you? Does it look like a mix because you use your blood and their semen? Does the blood need to be regularly given to power the fairy? What if someone doesn't have enough mana - can Tallmen make fairies? Would they be able to make a fairy if they had an extra mana source (like a dungeon, or an elf) to regularly feed the fairy blood?
This is just such a cool bit of worldbuilding in such an unlikely place!!! Everything in Dungeon Meshi is so fascinating. I can't wait to get my Daydream hour in the mail from Japan. In case you haven't seen it, here's the other page we've gotten on the fairies:
Tumblr media
As you can see, only Mithrun and the Queen's fairies look substantially different from them. Possibly the queen's bodily fluids are too sacred/precious to be used in this manner? What if somebody tries to usurp the throne or something (more problematic with a male ruler but still an issue if you have magic maybe...) and Mithrun... well, hard to get semen out of him. So his may be made by someone else but fed by him with his blood? (Could have been grown from a donation by his brother? The hair color is right but not the eyes... but Mithrun's blood may be influencing the appearance?)

Character ask: The magic mirror (Snow White)
Favorite thing about them: I like its mystical truth-telling power. I also enjoy the fact that it's open to so many different interpretations in different adaptations of the tale. What it looks like, what it sounds like, how it speaks (from a face carved into the frame, a spirit that appears in the glass, the Queen's own reflection, etc.) just how sapient it is, whether it likes the Queen, dislikes her, or is neutral, and whether it's an entity itself or has an entity trapped inside it varies from version to version. This way, it never becomes boring.
In the Disney film specifically, I like its eerie, otherworldly appearance and voice, and the sense of emotionless moral neutrality it conveys.
Least favorite thing about them: Well, it serves the evil Queen and tells her where Snow White is.
Three things I have in common with them:
*I usually tell the truth.
*I think Snow White is beautiful.
*I've been inside a castle before. (In my case, a few crumbling old ones in Ireland.)
Three things I don't have in common with them:
*I'm not a mirror.
*I'm not omniscient.
*I don't speak in rhyme.
Favorite line: From the Grimms' tale:
You, my queen, are fair; it is true.
But Snow White, beyond the mountains
With the seven dwarfs
Is still a thousand times fairer than you.
From the Disney film:
Famed is thy beauty, Majesty.
But hold! A lovely maid I see.
Rags cannot hide her gentle grace.
Alas, she is more fair than thee!
and
Over the seven jeweled hills,
Beyond the seventh fall,
In the cottage of the seven dwarfs
Dwells Snow White, fairest one of all
brOTP: I suppose the Queen, in a way.
OTP: None. Except in the anime The Legend of Snow White, where the spirit imprisoned in the mirror, Speck, does have a love interest, a female spirit named Mylarka who's imprisoned elsewhere, but who reunites with him in the end.
nOTP: Any human.
Random headcanon: It was a gift to the Queen from whoever taught her the art of magic. Its creator meant her to use its omniscient power for good, to ask it questions about the needs of her people and use it to become a better ruler. But instead, of course, she only uses it to satisfy her vanity about her beauty, and to learn who her rivals are so she can eliminate them.
Unpopular opinion: I don't think it represents the king. Not inherently, anyway. This seems to be a popular reading of the tale among scholars: that the mirror is a stand-in for the absent figure of the Queen's husband and Snow White's father, and that the Queen's jealousy of Snow White's beauty merely represents the true source of conflict between stepmothers and stepdaughters, competition for the husband/father's love. That's a valid reading, of course, but I don't think it's inherent. I'd sooner argue that the mirror represents the male gaze in general than that it specifically represents the king. And I don't think it inherently represents the male gaze either, unless you think the only reason why women ever envy other women's beauty is because beauty equals male approval. Some adaptations have it speak with a woman's voice instead of a man's, after all. Or even with the Queen's own voice (since it is a mirror), making it seem less like a symbol of other people's feelings about the Queen and Snow White, and more of the Queen's own inner knowledge of Snow White's superior beauty.
Song I associate with them: Its instrumental theme from the Disney film's soundtrack.

So this story takes place more than 20 years after the events of Season 3. There are actually several changes I made to the canon story. Not in a way to say “I’m better than the Winx writers,” these are just personal preferences and stuff.
Icy X Bloom is canon:
I’m an Icy X Bloom shipper, so I decided that in this story, Icy and Bloom actually become a couple. Of course that comes with some rewriting, ESPECIALLY in Season 3. But know that during Season 3, the Trix do switch to the good guys and help the Winx stop Valtor. Obviously afterwards, there’s lots of making up the Trix have to do.
Riven actually develops and the Riven + Musa Breakup:
I hate how they keep regressing Riven’s character development every time he becomes an actually decent dude. In this AU, he actually keeps his development and keeps healing as time goes on. However, Riven and Musa break up here. They break up on good terms though, and are still good friends.
Helia is a Fairy (and Male Fairies):
This is just a fun little head cannon, but I like an AU where Helia is actually a fairy. Though in Winx, there are no male fairies. So here’s my head cannon: Biologically male fairies are EXTREMELY rare. For some reason, fairy powers only ever go to women. So male fairies are usually trans men in this universe. A cisgender male fairy is very very very rare.
Diaspro redemption arc:
I do not like how dirty Diaspro was done. I’m not at all excusing her actions of drugging Sky and stuff, but I HATE how Bloom basically assaulted her yet she was seen as the bad guy. In this story, after Diaspro was banished for several years, she had lots of time to reflect on herself and decides to genuinely change. Once she’s released, she apologizes to everyone for what she did. Bloom apologizes for assaulting her, and Sky apologizes for not telling Bloom and Diaspro important stuff. Everything’s chill, and Diaspro becomes the Queen of Eraklyon (she does not marry Sky). She ends up having a daughter, who is currently the heir Princess of Eraklyon.
Disenchantix is the Witch version of Enchantix:
The witches deserve more love and need to not be demonized as much. So in this universe, Disenchantix is the witch version of Enchantix. Like Enchantix, a witch earns it by risking their life for someone of their home world. When the Trix got it in Season 3, they did what Bloom did and kind of forced it out of sheer will.
Again, by no means am I better than the Winx writers. This is just some things I made different in this story.

Honestly, I thought about naming her Queen, but who said my girl can't be called King in this version too? In this version (and AU that I had a few years ago with another ship and modified), King is in love with Meliodas, but she doesn't treat him with so much affection. She treats him just like in canon, only with the difference that by season 2, Meliodas is already closer to her after the chaos of Camelot.
Compared to her male version, King is forced to wear underwear because she flies and it is considered "bad taste" for a lady, especially a holy knight, to not wear underwear, which also bothers her, she's a fairy, she doesn't need something like that, but oh well
And Chastiefol is still the same, she's green, she loves green, Pink? No, she doesn't have pink on her clothes. Before she had a headband of pink flowers that looked like generic flowers, but, I replaced them with sunflowers. Here in this AU she is very good friends with Diane and Elizabeth, the three of them understand each other so well, that they even realize that maybe, just maybe, Meliodas is the apple of discord.
Likewise, that's not possible, because Elizabeth here surprisingly doesn't fall in love with Meliodas by hearing King's feelings firsthand without wanting to, just as Diane believes that King hates Meliodas.
I would talk so much about this AU, that I could even tell you that Meliodas adores King because she treats him like an old and ragged rag, she loves that King doesn't let himself be defeated and they are a good team together (my dads, My god)

Hello! So I’m just wondering, since the fairies in FairyVerse are considered queens(tho most of em if not all are male, sorry if that was rude btw) would there ever be a necessarily female sans? I’ve been curious about this for a while, so I just need to put my brain to rest on this, lol
No need to worry, you weren’t rude. So, the season fairies might be female-represented when it comes to their ecto-forms (which was a choice I wanted because I find them to be really pretty like this, but it’s definitely not a must, just the most common of forms for a season fairy to have/take), but I wouldn’t necessarily say any of them are either male or female. The season fairies work differently from the Big Folk and truly have no standard role appointed to them.
They’re just… well, fairies! ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
As for titles, they change depending on who you speak to. Error is both known as the Ice Queen and the Winter King, whilst Nightmare is often referred to as either Queen Autumn or the Lunar Queen, though he’s also been called the Veiled King now and again. Dream has been called Summer Guardian and Summer’s Sun, whilst Ink is often referred to as Father Spring by many of his spring fairies, whilst the Big Folk usually call him the Spring Hunter, or the False Light (he is a dreadful menace towards them.)
I tend to write “He” when it comes to most of my fairies because it’s what I’m the most used to (when writing regular fanfics about the different skeletons), though I have occasionally referred to fairy Nightmare as “She” as well.
It’s free game, honestly.
I say go wild with it.
The fairies have no set rules when it comes to this sort of stuff, so everything works for them. The goal for this AU was to just have fun with some lovely, creepy, sweet, tiny little fairies, so you can do anything you want.
You can view the fairies as some obscure folklore that has so many different versions told and written down that no one is sure which one is the “correct” one, so in a way, all of them are plausible.
There is no “right” or “wrong”, there’s just fairies. 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊

Just My Thoughts Pt. 12
Fairy Tail Manga Reread Version
Presenting Titania - Queen of Fairies Erza Scarlet
Tumblr media
A whole page dedicated to Erza! That’s exactly what she deserves. I love how Erza is the personification of The Knight yet her alias as a Fairy Tail member is Titania (which is the Queen of Fairies). I think both titles of very fitting for her.
As a Knight, she not only breaks gender stereotypes as knights are typically male and have the role of saving the damsel in distress. However, Hiro Mashima making Erza the Knight demonstrates that she doesn’t need to wait around for a man to come and rescue her. She can do that all by herself. I absolutely love it!
In terms of Titania, she real takes the role being the Queen. Not only is she feared by many powerful mages such as Natsu and Gray, but she’s highly respected. Almost everyone knows who Titania is. She’s known for her hard work, powers, and strength, but also because she’s very family/friend oriented. She’s always claiming she gets her strength from her guild that believes in her. They’re her true source of power. Which is why, I think she is very fitting for title of Queen. She understands what it means to be a Fairy!!
I know that many people don’t like how she’s always overpowering her enemies, but she wouldn’t have the title of Queen if she didn’t possess such power. While I also want her to lose a few times (just so she can learn and grow from it), she is truly fitting of a victor when she puts all her will into saving and protecting what she cares about most. That’s the whole message of Fairy Tail, the whole purpose of the story.

👑🧚🏻‍♀️ - Her Highness - 🧚🏻‍♀️👑
Warning : Extremely, Long !
This is as Well a True Data, Upload.
[ Intro ]
My Blog is Unintentionally Radical, the reason why I even go through all this effort and I gave the truth and I go to the extreme seemingly extreme to post all this shit is because I'm telling but simply trying to find my fucking people, 🧚🏻‍♂️/👽/🧚🏻‍♀️ - I'm trying to find the other hybrid so I give brutally accurate descriptions of our homeworld and hope that it'll both attract either my people or someone that can find information to help me find my fucking people but generally people read my stuff as fiction or they think I'm just as a schizophrenic or abused drugs human have a closed mind, you have a closed mind and I think they're intelligent for that they trust no source of information.
. . .
🙁 - I'm not lying, I'm not schizophrenic and the only Drug, I do is Caffeine.
. . .
[ intro End's ]
You See in Fairyland if a queen a female fairy, of the highest order in the highest Authority in all of Fairyland that represents The Bug Nature, the bug energy, Titania and Everything is that is Us ! 🧚🏻‍♀️/👽/🧚🏻‍♂️ !
A queen has to be overwhelmingly powerful she has to not just look powerful she has to
BE, POWERFUL !
Like a Giga Chad, Goddess !
.     .     .
Of exponential amounts of paranormal power ferocity brute Force unbelievable of being Sadistic, And All Holy, MIGHT !
As we're in the human world a male is supposed to be positive, cheery, supportive, warm and compassionate a bold and Powerful leader of Great Wisdom !
In the fairy world it's extremely fucking different
The Queens have to be Almighty they have to be literally indestructible they had to be bigger than the females which the females are already bigger than the males of females going to be 25 to 75% bigger than the male if I'm 5 ft she's going to be probably 6.5 if I'm lucky 7 ft
🧚🏻‍♂️🧚🏻‍♂️🧚🏻‍♂️
A queen is going to always be much bigger than a female if she's 7 ft tall she's going to be at least 12 ft tall if not 14 !
They can get up to 25 ft
.     .     .
And extremely long path on our planet they could get up to deepen The Hive a deep underground and sometimes above the ground that when the highs were unbelievably fucking gigantic like inconceivably bigger than a fucking state
In the USA
.  .  .
The females can get over to 120 ft tall and they sat on gigantic Almighty monumental thrones these were insectoid, basically Goddesses !
And, Even they bow down to titanium in her Holiness in her almightyness even they bow down to Her Sacredness, Her Synchronicity
.     .     .
You see the thing I wanted to let you God damn know about, a queen a fairy queen is that she has unbelievable amounts of power but you got to keep in mind that she's not a deity she's not a demi goddess she's a supermortal
She has power like that of a Goddess
.  .  .
And she is loved and worshiped by males not females females don't worship other females everybody worships Titania but no one worship the only nobody worships the queen unless you're a male, the female version of worshiping a queen is understanding that you are not Superior to her you are beneath her, and she is above you very female is love to rub things in they love to torture the egos of other females as much they love to torture their flesh and torture their soul there's a reason why fairy females eventually learn the ability to literally devour soul !
Yes, I just said that they eat ghosts
.  .  .
Hive world is Fairyland.
.  .  .
In the fairy world a queen is extremely negative extremely dark extremely barbaric extremely warmongering extremely aggressive extremely violent extremely extremely extremely a hardcore war path
They are unbelievably fucking bloodthirsty be on your wildest imagination you can't you can't conceive how dark and aggressive very female is and especially can't conceive of how dark and Powerful a queen of the hive is
They are so God damn powerful they warp and twist reality
They literally Bend, The Universe around them
.     .     .
But this was all in the past the long ago long long time ago
.     .     .
You see me being on the earth it feels more like a form of torture or a punishment for they who are innocent if I take some innocent person on the street and then put them in jail the rest of life just because you don't like that person.
.  .  .
I really don't belong on this planet I really don't belong telling stories from my world to look like a schizophrenic in front of everybody when I'm being completely honest but every fucking detail
.  .  .
I really don't deserve to suffer the toxicity of the Earth Energy atmosphere the planet and all the spirits around me that constantly attack my soul
I don't deserve to be called mentally ill when I'm being sane and honest I don't deserve to be called a fucking idiot or a Retard When, I'm actually intelligent !
I don't deserve all that extreme social toxicity and all the fucking abuse I don't deserve this shit I really really do not deserve this and I get all of it ?
I don't know why I get so much evil from the human race maybe because the human race is fucking evil !
.     .     .
Innocence is the worst Karma
.     .     .
Anyway I'll get back to giving you data about the Queen's !
.  .  .
You see in Fairyland, in Hive World our planet is extremely close to Earth and I sometimes wonder if our plan is in the neighborhood of Earth or if our planet is a rogue planet that have the jump from Galaxy to Galaxy or is it solar system to solar system ?
But I can tell you that our planet does rotate around Earth this is a fun this is a fucking fact our planet does rotate extremely close to Earth almost like a fucking Moon
But every so often our planet will shoot off from the earth for quite some time for many many months and then eventually after multiple years come back around to do another loop around the planet ?
I have no idea what the fuck our planet, is ?
.  .  .
I have no idea, where are home World, is, and or, if I can get back there !
.     .     .
But, I can tell you one Thing, no longer go past Queen would rage war against one another and the wars with last for over a hundred years he makes it when humans go to war they do it in waves when ferries go to war they release an ocean of bugs into the enemy and the enemy lives in Ocean of bugs in return and the war can go on constantly like water flows
There is so much blood in so many exoskeletons all over the place and so many dead bugs also the only not only does the flesh fight but also the souls as I lost their body continue on fighting extremely long after they died this is another reason why females had to get really really good at devouring souls are grabbing a soul because they had to call back minions or call back certain bugs that were fighting on when they needed to get back to the hive and reincarnate in an egg
they were being bad bugs they were disobeying the Queen the queen changed her mind when she won the battle and had to do something else and that Soul was I shouldn't say disobedient but that's all was not falling fucking orders cuz they couldn't they're dead it's extremely hard to focus to learn to do anything and everything when you're dead person cuz you're Consciousness is so extremely a skewered and fucked up
So there is some mercy upon they who have died but the thing got them time the queen needs you back you chose the bug race for all eternity now you are part of the bug team
And you will obey all things of the bug nature you chose everything with God you chose the family of the arthropod you chose the bug life force the bug energy the bug essence you said everything up you spiritually went through the whole process and became yourself
Now, like a seed in a forest you have to grow among the many trees that came before you you are just one of many
But it does not mean that you are worthless what you do in life will show up who you are as to cause it ebb's and ripples
What you do in life really matters and in the end it will all pay off especially if the queen gets more power and the hive grows stronger
The bigger the hive gets the more your side gets stronger you're high will devour all the other hives and high world will only have one Hive to rule the world
😈
But then again a long time ago there was a Great divide and a great split something happened where the light side in the dark side of Fairyland was split into two I don't know worlds I don't know dimensions I don't know I don't know if it would just split half the planet I have no idea what the other side was
But the fairies of light did the same thing the fairies of dark did except for the fairies of light decide to conquer other fucking worlds in the fairies of dark decided to stay on their own world
😡 - idiot's, open realms multiple realms side by side and they sent armies through those goddamn things in order to conquer other planes of existence
🤦🏻‍♂️ - Greedy, motherfuckers !
.  .  .
You see titanium warned about this and every time that bitch opens her mouth and says something she's always fucking, Right !
Titania despite all of us males and all all fairies judge her back and she wants that what what we've all learned and I didn't have to learn this cuz I just knew she was fucking smarter than everybody else so like she she obviously has maxed out intelligent points if this was a video game !
And she's so fucking smart she hacked a game and gave her more points and she was allowed.
The bitch, is beyond Smart.
.  .  .
But you see Titania said don't go to other dimensions don't open the gateway there they will not forgive and forget and they will not be able to forget and they will come through and she was right that happened multiple fucking times.
😡
.     .     .
Idiot's !
.     .     .
Also, Then, Titania told a different set of fairies one time she told the gray fairies, which you know where this is going
👽 <- created by the mantises, it's a fucking Frankenstein it's an insectoid Frankenstein
Part, Cyborg actually mostly cyborg part alien DNA called human and part insectoid
😡 - it's a freak piece of shit
.     .     .
The Mother as known as The high goddess or The Ultimate Goddess there she spoke forth and she said don't leave the World and try to conquer other planets stay on the earth and stay away from fucking science or all the whole world will come to an end and all things will be destroyed
👽/😡 <- they rebelled against the goddess and all things spiritual
They rebelled against the most high and in the end what she said came 100% true and what she says going to happen I just knew that was going to be Our Fate
Because, Shit always gets shittier !
😡
I just knew the moment she was trying to warn them and desperately keep them from doing the dumb thing that the dumb thing was going to happen and all matters of hell and suffering was going to come our way for stupid hard-headed dumbasses that literally think they know everything
👽 <- Calling This Thing a piece of shit is a monumental understatement
😡/😤 - fucking assholes !
.     .     .
So Every time a fairy didn't listen to Titania the bad thing she said is going to happen ended up happening exactly as she said
Every time the green mommy's fucking spoke the green bug mommy fucking told everybody don't fucking do that thing the dumber fairies did that thing
I never questioned the authority of titanium I questioned the morality of Titania
🤣
I called her a bitch I didn't call her a stupid bitch cuz that bitch is not stupid by any fucking means the worst stupid and Titania doesn't belong in the same fucking paragraph let alone an entire book
That bitch is so fucking smart she makes Athena look Retarded !
.      .      .
Lastly, if a queen fairy is weak or if a male is able to hurt her or dominate her or do any of that shit she is known as a fake queen and every single male in the entire high will go berserk and go psycho to kill her because they have no leader they have no Queen they have No, peace from titanium or idle from Titania idols the wrong fucking word
She does not resemble Titania she is the opposite she is not only a sinner she's also desecrating and being sacrilegious and it also counts as a mock of Titania by being weak by pretending by lying to everyone saying she was strong when she was weak and if a beta female ever assistant calls herself a queen a male fairy or any fairy will just eat her because beta females are there for multiple other things but they are at that they're so low on the social hierarchy and Fairyland that's even on the fucking hierarchy at all ?
But they have extremely mental use they usually use as bloody toys for Alpha females usually use as easy food for Alpha females even a male fairy is allowed to eat a beta female for she deserves nothing but pain and suffering for being weak and worthless even a male ferry is allowed to enjoy the meat of a weak female and turn her into the most powerful of cum.
And or boost his own health in many ways even though male fairies were all herbivores which is completely fucking weird in nature but you know what fuck it
Alpha females eat so many Male's, he will be so fucking desirable for Alpha females he is like living breathing royal jelly & Blessed by Titania ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Alpha Females Already Want to Gobble Male's, up as fast as possible but there Alpha females will start wars over a male that is charged like that
His Rebirth will be powerful.
.  .  .
If not just males that will go berserk we all do it's part of our nature we see in a fake queen a queen is not only the eight packs of authority she is a thing that gives us purpose she is the thing that gives us reason for life she has to keep things that gets everything she is kind of like the right hand of Titania or the left hand whatever you know what I mean
She is that directly linked to titanium males are linked to her as well and males are seen as sacred in the eyes of Titania as well but in a very different way only male fairies only fairies and strictly fucking fairies
! With ! This Being Said, if the female Queen is weak that's another reason why Alpha females are always trying to kill the queen cuz they want to see if she's weak or strong and they think she's weak they're going to try to kill her it's always going to be a fight in the high there's another reason why the female has to be obviously overwhelming and overflowing an hour and strength she has to it's kind of like a T-Rex walking around fucking Newt's or Little Lizard's !
Or a Lion Around GODDAMN CAT'S !
She has to overwhelmingly show that she is Almighty and absolutely super ultra Alpha
She can't look weak she can't show any signs of weakness if a queen shows weakness every male is designed to go out to her and attack her if she's attacked by another queen and taking damage that's understandable Queens are unbelievably powerful if something complete out of her control takes her down or makes her too weak all males will go into healing and nurturing mode and we have to heal her but if she is just weak by this by default then we will go over if she tries to become the queen and she's weak all males are to leave her alone because she is going to be killed by an alpha and that Queen is now replaced by the new Queen
The Queens are always replaced by something stronger that whichever can kill them that is female of insectoid kind
But of course it has to be of the same fucking species you can't have like a fucking spider in there like a beetle hive or Something !
And, That's how we get our Queens there is no stupid voting system there is a slaughter of the weak
That's another reason why in Fairyland law of the Jungle and might make right are sacred
And that's another reason why honor among Thieves is so deeply sacred because you're the honor of your thieves is that of your hive and your hive goes against the enemy hive
You listen to the queen at all costs her every word is like that of gospel of Titania
Her every word is equal to that if titanium herself give a commandment through her
😡 !
If the queen said for you to go to the war of the enemy hive then you do that you do everything that she wants and you kiss her goddamn feet so far and leave but don't get her too sexy aroused because he's a female and you're a male and she's already dying to eat you they're so fucking gluttonous you have no idea
They're horny and gluttonous at the same Time !
.  .  .
But the females are ultimately go to war eventually and if an enemy Queen kills your queen usually hides are just bad at that point because your scent comes from a different area and at that point highest break apart and you do not get to go to the enemy Hive you just fucking flee at that point you have no fucking Hive or if some of your some of the females and males in that higher survive they'll try to regroup make a new goddamn hive
Sometimes males and females are captured by enemy highs taking them to their highs to be divided by their Queen so that that part of the Divinity of Titania gets a devourer of those Souls completely absorbing them
They're not completely gone but they are monumentally damaged and ripped apart the queen is nourish herself with the destruction of her so their souls though spiritual digestion
Massively amplifying her power in her intelligence at the same time and boosting her femininity which boosts everything else even more
The only way to get them back sometimes is to kill the queen
But the reason why I said sometimes cuz there's a monumental good chance that their souls are locked inside her soul and ripped apart the only way to get them reincarnated it's for one of your people to digest her
Or her soul is going to have to get so weak that the soul that she exhort get eventually come apart from her
And what's left of their soul can get reincarnated and slowly repair and heal themselves
Fairyland is an extremely dark and brutal place where Queens are always going to war with other God damn Queens
It's a place of monumental levels of chaos and Carnage it's a place more dark and more violent than the depths of Hell from the abrahamic faith
It's a place of chaos be on your wildest imagination
😡
But, it's also at the same time a Bug, Utopia
.     .     .
And if a queen fairy does completely destroy the souls of the of the fairies and titanium does not want to lose them they all Souls will suddenly respond inside Titania and be rebirth she will cast them out back into the world or something happens to them not everything is clear to Me, I don't fucking know Everything.
.  .  .
But, I do know that the Queens are always going to war and there's no such thing as male Authority and Fairyland the highest thing a male had to Authority is our intelligent it's about it our intelligence and our wisdom is all we have in Fairyland some of us have great strength but very very very very few species of insectoids the males are strong and the females are weak that would be the trolls
Trolls are a species of beetles, they Evolved from Beatles
That's the reason why the trolls are so fucking strong and they are a hive they are an earth Hive or a groundhog Beatles usually make their hives underground
And they are extremely pious of the element Earth
Some trolls will go completely psycho and I mean completely completely berserk level psycho if you step on a flower
They don't like you stepping on leave they don't like you stepping on the plants they let that they're even very cautious if you step on rocks
They prefer you to step on the dirt only
.     .     .
I would know I made the fuck up one time to step it on the fucking flower just a stupid fucking flower although pretty and spare with you like to give a fuck less
A troll went completely berserk at me and troll can get up to 12 to 13 ft tall it had a it literally had a fucking club with it made out of dead tree cuz they will not kill a tree ever
It charged at me screaming snarling roaring and literally like a stupid fucking idiot destroying all the trees around it
They're spiritually bonded with the element Earth but when they go berserk they don't give a fuck what they destroy
And after they get done berserking they will then cry their eyes out horribly hold it all the things they just throw the plans they killed and all the trees they smashed they'll cry their eyes out I've literally seen trolls cry
And part of the Earth are the trolls energy can regrow back all the trees and the plants because they're so spiritually Bonded with The Element :  Earth ! ! ! ! !
!  !  ! DONE  !  !  !
EDIT : TROLLS ARE WEIRD, they don't seem to have much of a high they're high seems to be more bass around grouping, there never seems to be one clear leader of any troll hive, trolls kind of rolling like a group or a gang it seems to be they who is the most religious has the authority whether it's male or female females are always weak in comparison to the males which is just absolutely fucking weird to us
But then again those were just a brown trolls, they were all kinds of trolls there were trolls of the ocean trolls of the forest who would break stuff and they didn't care they were all they were even trolls of fire which was weird because you couldn't throw the fucking flame anywhere and some parts of the world had lava and some parts of the world had blue lava which was made clearly out of electricity or plasma ?
I'm so Fucking Confused, I don't know What's Going on ?
.     .     .
But the one thing I'll tell you that I never Seen a troll of The Element : Air !
.     .     .
In trolls are bipedal but a lot of them are bipedal but there's also a good amount to them that just look like fucking beetles like literally bipedal beetles.
And they don't move much and they don't do much. There are some beetles that do do a fuck tongue but the ones that I saw were very very lazy and slow and they were some trolls that looked very much very close to the Lord of the Ring version of the trolls.
But I don't want to go anymore into this I've already I have very limited data on trolls
Often, I just Stayed around my own kind and are broken, dead world.
🙁
In the end Fairyland suffered multiple apocalypses not just one and for some reason the Grey's, Wanted to conquer the Earth and that's why the agenda happened.
.  .  .
In the end I just wonder if I'm a miscellaneous spirit, have no real value or importance I always wonder if my soul is frivolous.
🙁 - ?

The Tale of the Golden Snail (a Fairy Tale from the East with Curse element in it)
Before going deeper, I want to say that CPC depictions is lacking eastern (Asia and Africa - and maybe southern America as well?) fairy tales that depicted on the media - the closest of the eastern tale depiction is the magic lamp from "Aladdin" which is from middle east asia. Jack finds the Braided Island that inhabitants with people with appearance that different than him, is also similar with how westerner see easterner folks [which either got amazed by their exotic appearance or horrified with them to point of being racist]. It's a shame IMHO because as someone from East, I want to say that Eastern Fairy Tales is a giant gem box that ready to be explored.. Especially from my own country, there's many fairy tales with curses on their story - like becomes animal (monkey, snail etc), petrified to becomes a stone (Malin Kundang) or born cursed (example, has face of a gourd). I like to introduce my own country and it's culture but without being posh doing it, slow and honest introduction by said my country as Batik Kingdom - islands based Kingdom from faraway place from the continent where Plaid-Pastel-Polygon Kingdom resides. I am headcannon-ing that Frederick reads fairy tale from faraway continent as well, based on ep 34:
Tumblr media
Well, let's move on to next topic which is about the Golden Snail Tale!
Tumblr media
Once upon a time, Daha was a prosperous kingdom under Prabu Kertamerta's reign (Prabu means a king in English). He had two beautiful daughters: Galuh Ajeng and Candra Kirana.
When these two princesses had come of age, a crown prince from the Kahuripan kingdom came to propose a marriage. Raden Inu Kertapati was a handsome, strapping crown prince from a prosperous kingdom, so Prabu Kertamerta welcomed him and accepted his proposal.
Despite Princess Galuh Ajeng being the eldest, Raden Inu Kertapati chose Princess Candra Kirana. It rose Princess Galuh's wrath. She plotted a devious plan to expel Candra Kirana from the palace so she couldn't marry Raden Inu Kertapati.
She sought an evil witch to cast a spell on her sister. She wished Candra Kirana became so disgusting that no one wanted to get near. Not long after that, the witch cast a spell on Candra Kirana to become a keong emas (a golden snail). Before she threw the snail into the river, she told the princess the curse could only be broken by meeting Raden Inu Kertapati. [Note: the curse is broken not by "True Love's Kiss" but could simply by meeting the beloved, this nice insight]
In another version of this tale, the one that cursed as golden snail actually a queen which got cursed as bad karma by bad mouthing a 'magical' golden snail that she founds at the street. I take the most popular version instead because the character's name fits better ("Kirana"). Kirana is my OC of my planned multiple chapters fanfic series, her summarized backstory as the following: A witch cursed her to becomes a golden snail every night and teleported her to far away place (similar with Thermidora's story) - the Male Monastery site.
Kirana meets Whitney and they're platonically becomes close - her ideal that every curse could be broken eventually leads Whitney to becomes a curse breaker [which very important as being the one that recognize Frederick's curse properly]. Meanwhile Kirana go to get more informations and money so she could return to her kingdom someday, by becoming a journalist/reporter. This will be important plot point later on
Tumblr media
^ How I imagined Kirana looks like, with her kingdom's outfit - Batik - and blonde hair which similar with her curse. Credit of the art piece with the watermark on the upper part
One day, a poor old lady caught a snail on her fishing net. When she saw it was a beautiful golden snail, she brought it home and kept it in a crock (an earthenware pot).
The next day the old lady went fishing. Unfortunately, she only caught a few fish. She was devastated because she could only buy a bit of rice. Imagine her surprise when she found plenty of food on her dining table. Feeling so hungry, she ate them without asking questions. Since this bizarre experience occurred every day, one day, the old lady pretended to go fishing. Then, she sneaked back into her hut and found a beautiful maiden cooked and cleaned.
She immediately confronted the maiden, who happened to be the cursed Princess Candra Kirana. As soon as the princess told her story, she became Keong Emas (golden snail) again. That's the beginning of the friendship between Candra Kirana and the old lady.
In the meantime,  the news of the missing princess spread throughout the kingdom of Daha. Feeling that she had no other competitors, Princess Galuh Ajeng tried her hardest to replace her sister as the bride of Raden Inu Kertapati.
However, since Raden Inu Kertapati was deeply in love with Candra Kirana, he set off on a journey to find her. Knowing this, the evil witch shapeshifted into a crow and followed him.
When the crow talked to him in human language, Raden Inu Kertapati was amazed. He believed it was a magical creature that could help him found Candra Kirana. So, he followed the crow's leads. He didn't realize that the crow led him further away from Candra Kirana.
One day, Raden Inu Kertapati met an elderly, who asked for some food. Being the kind person he was, the prince happily shared his food. It turned out that the elderly was a wise man; who knew the evil crow had tricked the prince. So, as a payback to the prince's kindness, he hit the crow until it evaporated into a puff of smoke. Then he told him where to find Candra Kirana.
Thus, Raden Inu Kertapati set off to Dadapan village. It was a long journey. Several days later, the prince ran out of provisions, so he approached the closest house to ask for water. Imagine his delight when he saw Candra Kirana was cooking in there. He rushed into the house, and their reunion broke the curse.
Soon the couple returned to the kingdom of Daha and told the misfortune of Candra Kirana. Afraid of King's wrath, princess Galuh ran to the woods. That's the last time anyone heard of her.
In the end, Raden Inu Kertapati and Candra Kirana lived happily ever after. They invited the old lady to live in the palace and took care of her.

Hey! 👋🏻 Can you answer ❤️ ✨ 👓 🥳 🌻 📗 📚 💛 🔮 💌 🎨 from the “Fanfic Writer Ask Game”?
Thank you so much! 🥺
Goodness that's a lot. *cracks knuckles* OK, let's do this!
❤️ What is your favorite line that you’ve written in a fic?
✨️ Out of the comments you’ve received on your fics, what are two or three of your favorites?
Answer here
👓 What helps you focus when you write?
I use the Freedom app that blocks YouTube and other sites that distract me - and sometimes I use a brain entrainment app to help stimulate my brain. It seems to help a bit. Also listening to music can help. Atm my focus is pretty shot but I have found these things have helped.
🥳 Why did you start writing fanfic?
It was a pretty natural progression, as a kid I loved imagining myself in the things I loved, usually as a cool or interesting character, and then I found fanfiction thanks to my hyperfixation on LOTR and I developed from there. I just really love exploring the worlds of the things I enjoy, imaging more adventures in the worlds, or changes to the canon story.
🌻 How often do you read your own fics?
Mmm, depends, I may reread a couple of times in a short space of time, and then I won't for ages. I don't like reading much older stuff, but I recently reread all of my Loki mega series because I wanted to remember the plot threads in the hope I may one day finish it. I will often go back to stuff in my most active fandom for fun too.
📗 Do you want to write something outside of fanfiction? If so, what about?
Oh absolutely, I've always wanted to be a published author. I've dozens of different stories, from a big world building fantasy series with one story focused on that world's first ever sorcerer, to a couple of thrillers set in the real world, to a kind of fairy tale inspired story that looks at what comes after happy ever after.
📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?
For MDZS:
Cerusee - Solid JC stuff
NotActuallyASpider -Mmm, all the angsty ZhanChengXian I could want and one of the first authors in this fandom I read.
ElDiablito_SF - ZhanCheng Author that writes them so sappy I wanna puke, it's great!
Oh_Fudgecakes - Just excellent writing both plot and smut.
For Loki:
Lise - Stoki author queen, insanely prolific writer, does Yi City works too.
💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?
You can't anticipate how people will read your work, both good and bad, and you will always write your best if you find your particular spin on the subject, not what someone else wants you to write.
🔮 Any advice for writers working through burnout or writer’s block?
Given how much I struggle with both, I guess I can only say be kind to yourself, especially with burnout. With a block, try to listen to yourself -- you likely know there's a problem further back in the story that needs fixing if you're stuck in the middle of writing.
If you're struggling to start, write the shit version and start wherever you want, because it's much easier to work on something that already exists.
If some tool helps you, like the Freedom App helps me, use it as much as you want!
💌 Is there a favorite trope you like to write?
Does fatherhood count as a trope? I seem to love making my male characters dads.
🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?
Oh so many options! Any cute moment between JC and LWJ in Ink, JC with his son (and WWX and JL) in For What or it's sequels, JC skimming on water in his fancy robes from JL's birthday, WWX and JL holding JC's hands during his C-section. The shenanigans in Break Between Classes where ZCX are making good use of the desk and JC trying to keep the bucket up. If you wanna go darker and smuttier, LWJ looming over JC in bed as in Little Bit of Hope.

Okay no one asked for this but you activated my brain and now we all suffer for it (I love you OP you’re so right yesyesyes)
Because for a lot of fairy tales, this is 10000% correct and a very interesting take and lots of fun
However… “fairy tale” is an extremely widely spanning genre, and tends to involve pretty much all of what I tend to call “Stories To Children”
Note: not “children’s stories”. There’s a lot of children’s stories for all sorts of reasons
But “Stories To Children” are the ones that get told to specifically instil cultural values, like obedience, kindness to others, respect for authority
Or they’re the gentle warnings to scare children away from dangerous spaces - don’t go into the woods alone, or the big bad wolf will eat you up
And the fairy tales OP is talking about are usually the cultural values ones, because they’re right - the whole point is that Even Unremarkable You Can Do Great Things If You Behave Well
They’re about people without very special talents who succeed because they practice their cultural values, like listening to their elders instead of forging ahead to do their own thing, or being kind when there is no obvious benefit
And the really interesting thing there is that the various people that help them on their way and do most of the work are often barely mentioned in the story! Despite being so much more potentially interesting!
The magic fish that grants three wishes to the fisherman who throws it back; how did it get that power? How often is this fish being scooped?
They rarely even get names within the story… and this is especially true of archetypes like The Handsome Prince. We call them Prince Charming, because none of them usually have an actual name
They’re very clearly barely relevant to the story at all, and are essentially there to do a deus ex machina and tidy things up neatly for our main characters at the end
We see a LOT of modern media where a female character is reduced to little more than a reward for our male protagonist at the end; enough to be sick of it
But that’s exactly what Prince Charming is. He’s not the hero of the story, even if the hero also doesn’t have a name
(Stories following the Third Son trope, or that are about the prince themself, are usually not Handsome Prince archetypes: they have at least a little personality)
Prince Charming is the hero’s reward for being an ideal woman (usually); she gets the “good ending”, being taken away by a respected and powerful man to become his beloved queen and live a (presumed) life of luxury
That is how the story appreciates her good qualities - she gets a husband who respects her deeply and often verbally admires her, because single women have historically not been considered successful
(“Who will take care of you when you are old” is another solid refrain)
BUT. Here’s the thing. You can usually look at the protagonist to determine what children are the intended audience
Stories about the handsome prince are to teach little boys how to behave. Stories about the beautiful princess are to teach little girls how to behave
And sure, everyone can learn from every story, and in quite a lot of them the gender of the protagonist is as irrelevant as their name (most of them don’t have names in older versions)
But the stories people tend to target for these kinds of feminist retellings do tend to have the same cultural message for good behaviour that a woman should fall into:
1) be kind (usually standard)
2) be pretty
3) be unconscious/trapped
Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, etc. all follow the model; our titular characters are indisputably the heroes. The story is about them. Does the prince even have a name?
And we can all agree, those last two messages ain’t shit
(No one ever seems to do the “feminist retelling” for stories like the Seven Dancing Princesses, where the youngest princess saves the day with her cunning and quick wits, despite the ending still being “and they all got married and lived happily ever after”)
So if you wanted to do a feminist retelling, but keep to the structure of the fairy tale, the thing to change isn’t the prince! It isn’t even to just flip it so that the princess rescues him
The thing to change is our assumed values for a good woman
Sleeping Beauty can still fall under the curse from a spinning wheel! But maybe instead of her father hiding all spinning wheels in the kingdom, he and her mother tell her the prophecy
And then we can go interesting places like “what does the bad fairy do when she feels her curse is being thwarted?”
Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is wise and has her parents seek out a potential “saviour” early on; perhaps the love of a sibling will count as a true love, and a younger or older sibling is sent to another land so they won’t be caught in the curse and can save the day
Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is prudent, and realizes that the bad fairy’s wrath is too dangerous for her future subjects to face, and instead asks to be sequestered away where her “whole kingdom” is a clearing in the woods, and her curse will not harm them (and they can come save her right away)
Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is mischievous, and sneaks into the bad fairy’s lair so that when she pricks her finger, the bad fairy also falls asleep
Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is cunning, and runs away to live with the bad fairy and work for her, because “what you wanted was for my parents to be sad about losing me, so this seems more sensible”
Perhaps Sleeping Beauty is kind, and goes to warn each and every creature and person in her land of the danger, and asks if they know a way to protect themselves (not her) from such a curse
Perhaps at the end of her journey she meets a lonely and crabby old hermit in the woods, who is impressed that she has no fear for herself; her only concern is what effects the curse will have on those around her
Perhaps that crabby old hermit is the bad fairy in disguise, perhaps another powerful being, who can help to mitigate the curse
Perhaps the kiss that wakes her comes not from a lover, or a sibling, but from a foster parent, a bad fairy that has realized their folly in cursing an innocent child they have come to know, and sincerely regret having cursed at all
And, y’know, we drop the obligatory marriage bit at the end, but if you want a love story you can still have one! From a true love who admires her bravery, her wisdom, her compassion, not her pretty face
Sleeping Beauty can still be put to sleep (because the story is about Sometimes Bad Things Happen Beyond Our Control And If You Worry Too Much It Only Gets Worse)
But when she wakes up, she is woken because of who she is and the actions she took that persuaded others to help her and care for her
Because she is loved by someone, or by many someones, who don’t want to marry her
Because she put others first, because she was kind, because she was wise, because she was cunning
She doesn’t need to save herself to be worth saving
Those "modern fairy tales where the princess saves herself" types of books not only misrepresent the gender roles in fairy tales (there are tons of stories where girls get to save the day), but they fundamentally misunderstand the entire genre.
Fairy tales aren't about saving yourself.
These aren't epic myths or heroic legends about the great warriors who slay every monster in their path because they're so awesome. Fairy tales are almost always about ordinary, even incompetent, people who get thrown into strange situations where they only succeed because of the help of others.
It's not a gendered thing. The boy who goes off to seek his fortune is usually the dim-witted third son whose older brothers are the strong, smart ones. The third son succeeds because he is kind to the magical helpers who then complete the tasks for him--and the exact same thing happens when a girl is the main character.
The characters in a fairy tale rarely succeed because they embrace their own strength and take their own path. Much more often, they are told step-by-step what to do, and they succeed because they obey--respecting the wisdom of others.
The core virtue of a fairy tale is not pride, but humility. It's not a story about the strong, but those who are weak, small, helpless. The people who can't do it all on their own, but can recognize the worth and wisdom of others.
Turning this story into a "girl power" (or even a "boy power") story warps it into something that is fundamentally the opposite of a fairy tale, and it has nothing to do with the gender of the main character.

An, Ann N Anny - Ever After High
Been Heavy into EAH again, so here are the An, Ann N Anny characters as sons and daughters of Fairy Tale legends. Also, a description of why I picked that one, some are longer than others. Also keep in mind, that I...don't really know many of the Grimm versions of fairy tales...I know a minor few, and I also know some are just....very bad, personally not a fan, I'm more of a Happily Ever After type of girl
--------------
An - Daughter of Mad hatter: For An making her the "Maddie" just made the most sense for me. Both are super random and often breaks the fourth wall. Can also here the narrator, which I guess in this case...is me.
Ann - Daughter of Beauty: To me, is the perfect match for Double N. She smart, enjoys reading and writing, and considers all animals beautiful, no matter how disturbing they may appear, Like spiders as an example.
Anny - Daughter of Evil Queen: For Anny I wanted her to be the "Raven" of this AU because Anny is always underestimated, looked down on, and she just wants to prove the doubters wrong.
--------------
NOW let me give some context for the Kanker's brothers, there dad, would be from the Hood family, and each of the boy's mothers is from a different legend and the boys follow more of their mother's story then father's, which is why I'll only put the legend the follow mainly next to their name. Also, for Tee and Jay I'm getting inspiration for what legend they are a part of from @lolzwaitwhat fanfic An, Ann N Anny High School.
--------------
Jay - Son of the Candy Witch - So yes for Jay, he is the son of the candy witch. My reasoning for this is because in the Fanfic I mention in their context, he loves to cook, so I thought this would be great for him. He actually fell for An, because unlike everyone else who thought his cooking was a way to lure them into a trap, but An happily ate the cookies he made when they first met. Youngest Kanker brother.
Larie - Son of the Big Bad Wolf - Larie is the current heir to the Big Bad Wolf family. He is the wildest of the three, often getting in fights, skipping classes. You never want to make a Kanker brother mad, but you really don't want to be on Larie's bad side. Larie tends to be look down by others due to his beast side. One day when a few other kids were picking on him for wolf ears, before he could pounce, Ann stood up for him since she never liked how beasts/villains are treated badly by Fairy Tale society, this was the first time someone outside of his family stood up for him, he fell for her at that moment.
Tee - Son of one of the 12 dancing princesses: Okay now I know this might sound like a crazy match up...but here me out. I went back and forth for Tee a lot, but in the end, I decided to, again, use LolzWaitWhat fanfic for inspo, where Tee is an amazing dancer. So yes, his mother belongs to the family that hold the famous 12 dancing princesses. For Tee's lore, his mother left when he was very young, which is why he struggles on which fairy tale to follow, he actually loves to dance, he finds it hard to follow his mother's legend after she left. I'm still working on how Tee and Anny's love story starts; I want it to be something about how they both struggle with their destinies, maybe it when Anny refuses to give in and stop sign the book of legends, he's amazed by her strength and willpower to stand up for herself. BUT this could change on
--------------
Now we move on to the neighborhood kids..... and some were harder than others to match up, but I do have a reasonings behind them all.
--------------
Karen - Daughter of Snow White: So yes, I made Karen the one Anny is to poison. Part of the reason I made her into this legend, is because I love the idea of Anny and Karen having a sense of rivalry before becoming friends, so what better way than to make them on opposite sides of their story. Also keep in mind, that they have the personally of their male counterpart in EEnE, not their EAH matchup I give them. So, Karen tends to be mean to Anny, especially after when Anny refuses the sign the book of legends since it stops their story and messes up her dream of having Nate as her prince, but they do become friends eventually.
Nate - Son of Prince Charming: I'm sure people who both watched EAH and EEnE saw this match up coming, I HAD to make Nate the "Daring Charming". While Nate doesn't care as much about his looks as Daring does, Nate still tries to always look his best, and nearly every girl in school has a crush on him. He secretly hopes to be Karen's destined prince and worries that if she does ever eat the poison apple, his kiss won't work.
Rachel - Daughter of Little Bo Peep: I had actually two other ideas, first was Darling Charming, for her heroics, but that made it complicated with who Nate is. So, then I thought maybe Jillian Beanstalk, since in EAH she is shown as very athletic. BUT then after going through the character list again, I realized that being the daughter of Little Bo Peep made the most sense since Bo Peep is a shepherdess, so naturally Rachel had to be the daughter of a shepherdess, only she keeps a better handle on her animals then her mother did, but a sheep or a goat still goes missing from time to time.
Jenny - Daughter of Pinocchio: Probably the easiest match up, obviously the one who would talk to a piece a wood most of her childhood, had to the character MADE out of wood. And yes, Like Cedar Wood in EAH, Jenny was cursed to always tell the truth, which causes a few problems, but her friends know she can't help it due to the curse.
Sam - Son of Alice: SO, because I had no idea who to make Sam, little brother to An. In my AU, The Mad Hatter and Alice, their parents, are the same age and also met at EAH when they were in school. An was given the Mad Hatter destiny and Sam was given Alice's. I don't really have much of a reasoning for this one, minus the fact I wanted these siblings to be in the same fairy tale.
Jamie - Daughter of the White Rabbit: Here we have another Wonderland match up. Jamie was also a hard one, but after reading Bunny Blanc's Wiki, it felt like a good fit, plus with her and Sam being Wonderland characters, it easier to make them childhood friends. Also, like Bunny Blanc, Jamie is actually never late, unlike all the other white rabbits before her, she just somehow makes it on time.
Tiffany - Oldest daughter of The Evil Queen - Since Tiffany is the older sister to Anny, she was actually the one who was to carry The Evil Queen destiny, but one day, she vanishes, no one knows where or why, and after long searching with no results, the destiny was then moved to Anny. Anny often wonders what happened to her older sister; did she run away from her destiny, did a spell go wrong and she was trapped somewhere, these are what Anny believes happened..... but maybe Tiffany is closer than everyone knows, waiting for the perfect moment to return, for what? Only she knows.
--------------
Now while writing this I thought when I got to Tiffany, I would be done...BUT since I mention Lolzwaitwhat fanfic a few times, it made me think about the 4 OCs that are in her AAnA world, so I guess here is a spoiler warning for the Fic, which u should absolutely read, link is in the paragraph between the An's and Kanker's part of this post. AND again, these are Lolzwaitwhat's OCs, not mine. Patrick who is Jenny's love interest, Conner who becomes Rachel's love interest, Brianna who is a mean girl that has a crush on Tee, but only because he has amazing eyes, that he normally keeps hidden by his hair, minus when he is dancing. So, she really hates Anny since Tee is in love with Anny. Next is Derek who is, in simple terms, a nerd, he is quite smart and is actually twin brother of Brianna, you could say he got the brains while she got the looks. Derek also has a crush on Ann, so he despises Larie, who always get in his way. Also, Lolzwaitwhat I hope you don't mind I added your OCs
--------------
Patrick - Son of the Little Mermaid: Now something about Patrick is that he is mute, often communicating with a writing board. As first born in his family, he was chosen to carry on the Little Mermaid tale, pun intended. But there was the fear that while his mother was mute in her story, she gets her voice back, Patrick was born with no voice, he often wonders how in the world can he truly carry on the story. It wasn't till meeting Jenny one day in the woods, that he found a new sense of hope, because Jenny, can understand him, all he has to do is think about what he would to say, and she understands, hears him, like he's actually talking. Thanks to her, Patrick feels like maybe, just maybe, he can carry on his family's story. I also decided that he can willing change into a mermaid or walk on two legs.
Conner - Son of Jack (Beanstalk): Now in Lolz's story Conner's family has a ranch, and he wears a cowboy hat, but since there aren't really any fairy tales with cowboys, I picked Jack and Beanstalk. Jack's family owns a farm so after many generations, the small farm turned into a nice size ranch and let just say they have a western vibe. As of right now, I don't know how I want to start his and Rachel's love story, but maybe something with their farm animals, but again, don't really have any ideas right now.
Brianna - Daughter of The Swan Queen: Brianna, while a skilled dancer in ballet, she tried to study other dances. That's where she meets Tee, he was teaching the class, but since his hair was tied back, his eyes were out, Brianna fell hard, much to Tee's discomfort, she was eventually kicked out since she would flirt with him, much more than trying to learn to dance. Brianna is often bitter of other stories, since they get happily ever afters and she doesn't. She also dislikes Anny a lot, because while Anny is daughter of the evil queen, Tee really likes her.
Derek - Son of Humpty Dumpty: So, with him being the twin brother of Brianna, I was real lost on how to make them work, so as weird as it sounds, Humpty Dumpty marries the Swan Queen, crazy, but that's all I got for them. With Derek's destiny being his father's, he often trips, he is skilled with tech and science, but he is no match for Ann, as he has never beaten her once in a science fair. With Ann's smarts, Derek believes she's the only one smart enough for him to date, but he when he flirts with Ann, Larie is quick to stop it, much to Ann's relief. There you have it, a full character sheet of how I think a An, Ann N Anny - Ever After High AU would work. I would love any thoughts or feedback. As of right now I personally have no plans on making this into a full story, but maybe in the future.

Who is Rietta?
Today, May 1, is my OC Rietta's birthday.
Tumblr media
Bio
Rietta Opelle Verina Philene Valencourt was not intended to be queen. She was born the first child of King Etriat and Queen Tietra of Faysmond and expected to be the elder sister of a male heir who surely was coming along soon. But Etriat unexpectedly died in a train crash, leaving the throne to his three-year-old daughter. The provisions of his will made Tietra her regent and appointed a Regency Council to support her. Unfortunately the Council and many other Faysmondians were hostile to Tietra, who had married Etriat as part of the terms of the resolution of a war against her homeland, and she in response retreated to a residence isolated in the countryside, where she could raise Rietta with a minimum of interference.
Rietta loves her mother and loves the castle where she has grown up, but by age fifteen, she feels stifled by the limitations of this existence and longs for a chance to rejoin a wider world. She wants to become a capable monarch, but disputes about her education have hindered the hiring of any definite instructor, and instead she runs wild on the castle grounds. That is where she meet and secretly befriends Rachel Doncath, a local girl of a background Highly Unsuitable to associate with the Queen. Rietta can't really afford to make mistakes at this point; her kingdom is financially struggling, and now that she's getting older, she needs to arrange the right match. And if her undesirable behavior goes too far, the Regency Council has an ultimatum for her: toe the line, or Tietra gets sent back to her homeland.
Rietta is caught between responsibilities and personal loyalties. Is it right for someone in her role to seek what she personally wants? What is her duty and what is the agenda of others who want to use her, and why are these so hard to tell apart sometimes?
Why I Love Her
Rietta is the first OC I created for the earliest version of this story, and she's been through a lot of versions, including some that were rather unkind to and dismissive of her. Not fair. She's high-energy and quick-tempered and easily distracted and impulsive, but she has intelligence and courage and strength. She once blew her entire allowance on lemon drops. She got kicked out of council meetings after she at a young age threw a heavy object at the Head of the Council for treating her mother badly. She knows that her future is a very important business arrangement and has been writing what basically amount to cover letters to various other monarchs, offering herself a prospective wife for any of their young sons. She makes friends quickly and easily and commits hard to any friendship once it starts. She's good at math and geography and has a lot of practical knowledge of plants. She cosplays as fairy tale characters so she can pose for photographs she makes Rachel take. Every year she visits her father's grave and plays a one-sided game of cards "with him." She is aggressively, insistently fond of the castle cat even though it clearly hates her. She's a lot, but that includes being a lot of fun, and I love the challenge of getting into the head of a character who is nothing like me. Flawed though she may be, she has an unapologetically big heart, and in some ways, she just might be the best-adjusted of my protagonists.
Description
Rietta, at nearly sixteen, now wore her hair up and her skirts floor-length. But no matter how skillfully she subdued those masses of black curls into their pompadour, several always sprung out of place, and the skirts always rustled a little from her habit of bouncing on the balls of her feet. Years of training in etiquette and a quiet manner could not hide that her very bones seemed spring-loaded. Her stateliest tread threatened to break into a gallop at any moment, and her laughs burst like thunderclaps from a long mouth that curled up at both ends when she smiled, which was often.

Sleeping Beauty Spring: "Faerie Tale Theatre: Sleeping Beauty" (1983 TV series episode)
Tumblr media
Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre is a cult classic among children of the '80s and '90s. So many of us grew up enjoying this TV series of hour-long fairy tale adaptations, with their celebrity casts, visuals inspired by the work of famous artists and illustrators, slightly cheesy special effects, and a blend of sincerity and quirky irreverence. I saw nearly every episode in its '90s reruns on The Disney Channel, or else on VHS with my friends at school during our parents' PTA meetings.
Sleeping Beauty is the fifth episode of the series. It stars Bernadette Peters and Christopher Reeve, who not only play the Princess and her Prince, but show off their acting range by also playing each other's unsavory romantic false leads, the "bad girl" Princess Debbie and the silly, spoiled son of King Murray. The rest of the cast includes Beverly d'Angelo as the sassy villainous fairy Henbane, Carol Kane as the slightly goofy yet sweet Pink Fairy who softens Henbane's curse from death to sleep, René Auberjonois and Sally Kellerman as the Princess's parents King Boris and Queen Natasha, and George Dzundza as the Woodsman who narrates the story.
Rather than the standard Western European country, this version of the story is set in Russia – mot likely in tribute to Tchaikovsky, whose music, not only from The Sleeping Beauty but from The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, is heard in excerpts throughout. This creates a beautiful and unique visual aesthetic, inspired by the fairy tale illustrations of Kay Nielsen. The bulk of the story is told as a flashback, narrated by the Woodsman to a prince and his squire. Midway through (although the twist is predictable from the start), the "squire" is revealed to really be the Prince, and vice-versa. They've switched places so the Prince can better observe the moral character of the princesses he meets: a lesson he learned some time ago, when he was nearly ensnared by the seductive Arabian princess Debbie, who turned out to be the evil fairy Henbane in disguise.
The Woodsman's tale reveals that once upon a time, Queen Natasha longed for a child, but neither she nor King Boris knew how to have one, until a tiny fairy gave them some much-needed, discreetly whispered advice. When their daughter is born, they invite six fairies to the christening: distinctly Russian-looking fairies in white gowns and ornate headscarves, who all have strange-sounding voices and bright-colored skin. (Furthermore, one fairy is male, but dresses just like the female fairies and has the mannerisms of a sassy gay man.) Villainous Henbane has gray skin, while her sweet, lisping younger sister who softens her curse is pink.
Twenty years later, the Princess has grown up to be a kind, graceful beauty, who cooks food for the poor and expresses her longing for love with the classic Judy Garland song "I'm Nobody's Baby." (A jokey anachronism, yes, but also a showcase for Bernadette Peters' famous singing voice.) In a choice that recalls the Czech film How to Wake a Princess, her parents have arranged for her to marry the son of the visiting King Murray, in hope that in his kingdom she'll be safe from Henbane's curse. But the foreign prince turns out to be a foppish, cowardly snob. Horrified by the thought of marrying him, the Princess flees to a secluded tower... where, of course, Henbane waits in disguise as an old woman with a spinning wheel.
After the sleeping Princess is found, the Pink Fairy arrives, puts the grieving King and Queen to sleep, and freezes the rest of the court like statues. But not to be outdone, Henbane surrounds the castle with "man-eating briars," which move like snakes to grab their victims, and changes herself into a reptilian, fire-breathing giant (not quite a dragon like Disney's Maleficent, but close) to prevent any prince from breaking the spell. But of course, a hundred years later, these obstacles can't deter the Prince. Running off with the Woodsman's axe, he chops his way through the briars, then battles the gigantic Henbane and slays her by throwing the axe at her. Then he wakes the Princess with a kiss, and everyone lives happily ever after... except for the Woodsman, who never gets his axe back and is left trying to chop down trees with a knife.
Children will enjoy this Sleeping Beauty as a colorful retelling of the classic tale. Adults will enjoy it as a lightly fractured fairy tale, with quite a few grown-up jokes and innuendos, yet which strikes a good balance between silliness and sincerity. Either way, it's a memorable retelling, and a standout episode of the Faerie Tale Theatre series.

Brainstorming child units for these Engage characters
I was super sad that we couldn't have child units in 3H, and this was echoed in Engage--though I will praise Engage for being able to S-support everyone (even though not all of them are romantic). So because of this, I wanted to brainstorm ideas for child units in Engage. Sadly, I have no artistic skills, but I've got my imagination.
Tumblr media
Iliad, the child of Alear. Early to mid teens, and I'd imagine they have a different color scheme so they don't look like carbon copies of their parents like Kana and Morgan do. I thought male Iliad's hair would be predominantly blue with a streak of red while female Iliad had red hair with blue highlights in the front (similar to Rogue from "X-Men"), but it'd be a cool detail if the ends of their hair matched the hair color of whoever Alear married. I imagine since their parents showered them with love and affection, they're much more emotionally and psychologically stable than Alear, as well as being a bit of a pacifist. In a contrast to Fates and Awakening, I'd like for Iliad's gender to match Alear's.
Tumblr media
Neciso, the son of Pandreo. Originally I pictured him as a wolf pup type of kid, but then I imagined him as a young man who's also a kind priest like his dad--but he doesn't have the energy for parties. He's more of a scholarly type, but occasionally he'll let out an energetic howl.
Tumblr media
Adele, the daughter of Alfred. Given the fact that Alfred dies young but it's never said how young that is, I think his daughter is super protective of him as she grows up (she'd be a teen here), training herself to be the strongest in the kingdom.
Tumblr media
Emeraude, the daughter of Diamant. Due to the circumstances that made Diamant king, he wants Emeraude to be fully prepared for the worst-case scenario if she needs to become a queen immediately. That said, he also makes sure to spend a lot of time with her just in case she never sees him again.
Tumblr media
Lazul, the son of Alcryst. A young man very big on upholding the honor of the royal family and looks up to his dad a lot, despite the latter's embarrassment. His cousin also encouraged his uncle to give him an education befitting a monarch, as she always saw him as her equal, just as their fathers did before them.
Tumblr media
Aquamarine, the daughter of Amber. A young woman who inherited her father's romanticism and affinity for animals, she comes across as a fairy tale princess. She strives to become a legendary heroine--along with seducing a village boy or five. She's basically the female version of Laslow/Inigo and isn't shamed for that.
Tumblr media
Chikai, the son of Yunaka. He frequently slips in an out of situations, and has a bubbly personality. It's believed he is also a thief, though he's so likeable most people find it hard to believe. He's a sly charmer (very similar to Hermes from the Hades video game).
Tumblr media
Rubis, the daughter of Saphir. She's a popular knight and friend of Emeraude and Lazul. Her duty takes precedence first and foremost, and is the oldest of the child units (being in her mid-20s).
Tumblr media
Eos, the son of Ivy. He's a young man known for being even-tempered and uncharacteristically kind by those who still deem Elusia with suspicion. He frequently wears a ghostly-white rose in his breast pocket, and while he's shy like his mother, he pushes himself to be more sociable to make others lose their fear for his kingdom.
Tumblr media
Solanum, the son of Hortensia. As a little kid, one would be unsurprised by his childish behavior--though those who know Hortensia think it's because she spoils him, and that he'll likely be that way when he's older, too. He often sticks to Eos like glue, and is quick to protect his family.
Tumblr media
Salix, daughter of Zelkov. Considered a counterpart to Chikai, she's known for being dangerous and charming--though while Chikai often keeps his criminal activity to non-life threatening activities, Salix is known for being lethal to her enemies. Her father doesn't seem to mind, considering her loyalty to the crown.
Tumblr media
Tia, daughter of Timerra. Known as "the wandering princess," she's often found camping with her family and traveling on her own--unless her retainers happen to catch up to her. She has a close relationship with her family, and has a singing voice that is much better than her mother's--something her uncle frequently takes advantage of when Timerra tries to sing.
Tumblr media
Taralli, the son of Seadall. Like his father, he is a renowned dancer and fortune-teller, though he often prefers to leave fate to chance, only reading fortunes when truly necessary. I imagine his outfit is similar to Inigo's "Indigo Dancer" outfit in FEH, except Taralli would probably be called the fated dancer.
Hope you like my ideas! Who knows, I may make more for other characters--maybe 3 Houses. Lemme know your thoughts or if you have any questions!
Update: check out the art @yanderefairyangel made inspired by these posts! We've both posted them on our Tumblr accounts.

Ace = fluid sexuality for actors?
So when I was acting in school, we had a higher female to male ratio.
I was cast to play a female version of Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream (not my choice, I despised it). Essentially Bottom is this super annoying actor who has a spell cast on them to make Titania the queen of the fairies fall in love with them. It didn't really bother me to essentially play a lesbian, or to have another woman act that she was sexually attracted to me.
In the same play, another young woman was cast as Puck, and was directed to play her as bisexual. She was straight and she had great difficulty playing this role as bi. I didn't dive deeper into it with her at the time beyond listening to her vent about how uncomfortable it made her. I didn't quite understand what the issue was, since I personally wasn't having an issue playing a lesbian. It wasn't like we were kissing or touching or anything, it was more of a mindset motivation direction.
At the time I thought I was straight, but I was actually ace.
I've started to wonder if my asexuality is the reason it didn't bother me to play a lesbian female or be cast in a traditionally men's role. I didn't quite understand sexuality back then, since I thought love and romance and sexuality and aesthetic attraction were all the same thing.
