Fuck it, New Baby Update

Hey remember when I said that last post was probably gonna be the last one? Jokes on me am I right?

Anyway-

Batsquatch

As some of you may have seen in my last ask - we stopped at the cat cafe to visit Batsquatch and unfortunately learned he had not been doing well there, so my moms coworker who got him the spot there took him home to foster him.

Naturally me and my mom were VERY concerned, so we texted her to check in. Turns out he just had a little separation anxiety from his mama - no surprise there because he was always the biggest mamas boy lol. She says he’s doing fine now, and will probably be returned to the cafe shortly 💞

Mothman/Kolby

Since Mothman was graciously adopted by one of my managers, I have gotten MANY updates on him!! She says he’s an absolute riot during the day, and a H U G E cuddle bug at night - which works out great, cause her other cat apparently isn��t much of a snuggler lol. Except with Mothman, who she apparently LOVES and snuggles with all the time XD

Death Worm/Elana

Honestly I was debating making an update about her anyway, but going to the cat cafe sorta just sealed the deal that I should make an update about all of them lol

My grandmother sent us this post made by Death Worms new owner and I gotta say, it definitely made me cry

Yknow what, sometimes things do happen for a reason. Taking Nessie in, as much as we love her and loved her kittens, has been an INCREDIBLY stressful experience literally from the very beginning. We called tons of shelters and rescues in the area begging for help - but they were all full. We panicked about getting her inside before she got pregnant, about adapting her to indoor life and introducing her to the other cats, about her having worms TWICE (thanks Nessie ew), about her being pregnant and trying to abort the kittens, about learning we couldn’t abort them and desperately figuring out how to take care of them. At the time, it really did feel like everything was falling apart 24/7 - whenever we fixed one problem, a new one would arise. So I cannot begin to describe how incredibly touching this was to read. Sometimes things do happen for a reason. Sometimes you can’t get the cat inside before she gets pregnant, and can’t get her fixed before the kittens are born, because one of those kittens was meant to save someone’s life - someone you haven’t even met yet.

There were some pictures and videos attached - which I unfortunately will not be adding, to this post because frankly I was already debating posting the caption and I don’t wanna risk invading this persons privacy any further - but I will say that they do definitely show that miss Death Worm is getting along GREAT with all her new pet friends, both cats and dogs alike!

Night Crawler/London

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to add to this update :’)

But I can say with confidence that she is doing WONDERFUL! My mom tells me that her coworker who adopted her updates her constantly with pictures and videos (shown, not sent, so I do not have them and thus no pictures lol) of her playing with his kids and sleeping in their beds. His kids made her her own little bed, but in typical cat fashion she has rebuked this in favor of THEIR beds, and my moms coworker has woken up to her sleeping on his head at least once now, and I’m sure that will not be the last time she does that lol.
