so i made pokemon teams for a3 like 2 years ago and then i suddenly stopped posting them. tbh i started making teams for ace attorney around the time the great ace attorney released (never ended up posting those) and i burnt out

anyway, i hope to get to posting again this summer and to start i just remembered an addition to chikage’s team with the introduction of gen 9

i think i would probably toss out magnezone from chikage’s team to fit scovillain. i would imagine that it would be a chance of fate for chikage to have an encounter with a pokemon to meet his preferred spice levels and flavor.

scovillian learns a move called “spicy extract” so i dont imagine chikage having to behead this pokemon to add to his meals.

Sakuya HCs

you thought i was done with august? no. my fav charas get an hc post individually <3

(might be angsty, and i'm sorry)

Sakuya, despite the fact that others say he's a human radiator, gets cold pretty easily. That's why you can see him wearing sweaters or jackets often.

He always wanted to play instruments when he was younger, but since his relatives just deemed him as another mouth to feed, he never got the chance until Harugaoka. Citron and Matsukawa have teamed up to continue teaching him cello even after closing night, and Citron and Sakuya's violin-cello duet is a hit on Mankai's YT page.

He always has candies in his pockets. Whether it's for the kids he works with or Juza, he's prepared. He has the brand that he noticed that the kids and Juza love.

It's not often that it happens, but he does come off as passive-aggressive in an argument (he got it from Itaru, Citron, and Chikage) and it always catches the person off guard (he never goes passive-aggressive with Mankai, though).

Aside from Chikage, Tasuku, and Guy, Sakuya also helps out in carrying Hisoka after training enough with Tasuku. Hisoka likes being carried by Sakuya and Guy since they handle him gently, unlike Chikage and Tasuku (who carries him likes a sack of potatoes most of the time), and he always gives them a packet of marshmallows as a reward.

His handwriting isn't the neatest to look at, but he does write down stuff pretty quickly. I also think he absolutely treasures the glitter pens Citron bought him once, and it took a bit of coaxing from Citron before he actually used them.

His nightmares usually consist of relatives throwing him out, but ever since he joined Mankai, he'd been getting them less and less. But when he does get them, Citron either stays up with him or will sing him a lullaby/tell him a story to help him calm down.

Sakuya continued learning Zahran even after the Zahra-centric stories are done, and I like to think that he lets out a little snort/giggle when he hears Citron complaining about the royal family to Chikage and Guy (kinda like when you're old enough to be let into the Exclusive Family Gossip™).

He had his own fanclub within Hana High! They're more underground than Masumi and Banri's are, but tons of his schoolmates look up to him. Especially after joining Mankai and becoming friends with the two, he seemed to shine even brighter than before. If Banri and Masumi are the Hana High Kings, he's the Prince of Hana High.

There was one time his kinder relatives asked if he wanted to take their surname, and he said no. He didn't get much items from his parents, so if their last name was one of the few things he could keep as his own, he'd hold on to it as tightly as he could.

Sakuya absolutely loves physical affection and his greeting would be a hug sometimes. A few of the other Mankai members (Masumi, Itaru, Chikage, Juza, Tenma, Yuki and Guy in particular) took a while to reciprocate his affection, and they either return the hug or give him a pat on the back when they're used to it.

Sakuya packs light (not as light as Chikage though). Like, just a few clothes, shoes, books and notebooks, stationery, a blanket, necessities, and his very few keepsakes are in his bag, and it's enough to fit in his usual black backpack. Citron noticed this, and took him out shopping and kept slipping in trinkets he knew he'd like, so Sakuya just goes wide-eyed at the cashier when he sees items that he didn't put in there (Citron paid for all of it).

He has definitely worked with Tsuzuru on a part-time job.

He keeps a journal! I think this isn't exactly an HC since Everlasting EP had a special thingy with Sakuya's journal entry! But other than a traditional journal, he also keeps his pictures of old friends and places he wanted to remember in it (if he could get them printed out somewhere).

In relation to the last one, he's so incredibly happy when he meets his old friends again, and he'll definitely introduce them to Mankai! I don't think I can describe how overjoyed he would be to meet them again, considering how he might have accepted that he might never see them.

Sakuya got into Hana High on a scholarship, and while his grades aren't record breaking, it's enough to maintain his scholarship.

He's self-sufficient as well. While he's not an expert at cooking like Omi, he can make simple meals to get himself through an afternoon. He also cleans up and does his own laundry quickly.

While a bit clumsy, I think he can definitely get into sports if he tried (but he still prefers theater over sports).

I think Sakuya is the type to learn everyone's hobbies and learn what they enjoy. He's the type to be genuinely interested and curious about everything, and he'd definitely exert effort to learn why his friend likes this activity/show/etc. That's the reason why his music sense is so confusing to other people (he likes classical, rap, pop, video game and anime osts, rock, post-rock, opera).

There was one time Tsumugi learned about his family situation and tried to talk to Sakuya about it, only to be faced with "It's fine, it's over anyway." That's when Tsumugi realizes that Sakuya may have a problem with bottling up his emotions, so he always gets Sakuya to talk about how he feels about something to help him out. It's small but it's a start.

He has a noticeably horrible bedhead and Citron always brushes his hair out when they wake up in the morning! In turn, Citron asks him to braid his hair sometimes because Sakuya is surprisingly good at it (it's from the little girls at the daycare asking Sakuya-sensei to braid their hair).

The one time he got sick was so painfully memorable for Spring and Izumi. Aside from the fact that they had to almost tie him to the bed (Masumi's idea) because he kept getting up to take care of himself, he was also plagued by nightmares that would always leave him more exhausted than when he went to sleep. Citron had to cancel all his errands because it hurt to see his roommate suddenly begin crying in his sleep. But alas, they couldn't do anything but to wait for his flu to pass. They took turns taking care of Sakuya, and Masumi actually panicked since he wouldn't wake up from his nightmare back then. Once he got better, Masumi kept an eye on him for several more days until he was sure that Sakuya was fine.

that's all i have for but WHEW that took around 2 hours to type out. the last one is a story idea but i felt like including it since i don't actually feel like writing it. lmk what you think? 👉👈
