Got bored, here's a list of The animated Disney/pixar films from my (mostly early) childhood (the ones I personally watched/impacted me/Faves, in mostly no particular order)
CLASSIC DISNEY:
- The little mermaid: watched this A TON as a young lad, even had some of the Disney store figurines, that I played with while watching my copy on VHS.
- Aladdin: Also watched this a ton via a VHS copy as a kid. Love this movie.
- Lion King: had it on VHS, Great movie I watched from time to time, didn't like it as much as some others personally.
- Hercules: actually had this on DVD, again watched it A LOT. Big Fave of mine as kid, even dressed up as Herc for Halloween back in pre School, and loved the TV show.
- Tarzan: Had it on DVD. Watched the Hell out of it, and I loved it. The TV show was pretty good too (the Tarzan and Jane DVD movie was fine I guess)
- Peter Pan: had this on DVD, liked it, not much to say.
- Return to Neverland: saw this and theaters and have it on DVD. I think I liked it.
- Atlantis: remember when this movie came out, idk if I saw it in theaters but I have it on DVD, always thought it was pretty good, fantastic art style.
- Atlantis II: Milo's Return: got it on DVD, watched it once, hated it, moving on.
- Little Mermaid II: return to the sea: yes I had this on DVD and yes I remember watching it several times. I don't remember how I liked in comparison to the first, probably better that way
- Emperor's New Groove: Saw it in theaters with my dad and have it on DVD. I Loved it! Hated the sequel, watched half of it before turning it off. The TV show was fine.
- Treasure Planet. Remember this film coming out, saw it with my dad, had the McDonald's Toys and the cereal box PC games and have it on DVD. STILL ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD! My dad really liked it too. A real shame they cancelled the 2nd one it sounded pretty good.
- The Adventures of Ichabod And Mr. Toad: initially had it on a recorded Bugs life VHS that had the separate stand alone releases of the 2 shorts taped at the end, later got the DVD. An absolute classic and still a fave of mine. Used to get scared of the headless horseman as little kid.
- Fun and Fancy Free: Had it on VHS. While I didn't like the short about the bear, Micky and the beanstalk and the live action bits with the ventriloquist dummies (that my dad recognized from his youth) were great, Micky and the beanstalk is still a classic.
- Snow White And the Seven Dwarves: watched it from time to time on VHS, liked it I guess, thought the queen witch transformation scene was awesome. I respect what it did for animation and the film industry.
PIXAR FILMS:
- Toy Story: Had it on both VHS and DVD, Watched the Hell out of this film, an absolute classic. Had both a regular and fast food Woody dolls and a buzz figures
- Toy Story 2: Same as above (only had it on DVD tho) better than the first, Had a Jessie doll and a little bullseye plush. Took those toy story toys with our with me a lot as a young lad.
- Bugs Life, had both an official VHS, and an unofficial VHS recording of a different official VHS release and also had Ichabod And Mr Toad recorded on it too (liked that unofficial tape more). Loved this film and watched the hell out of it, still a fave of mine.
- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure begins: not really pixar but fits better here. Had this on DVD and watched the hell out of it and the TV show. Loved it, a classic. The opening to the movie held me over until they actually made Toy Story 3
- Monsters Inc. : Saw this in Theaters with my dad and my sister, have it on DVD. An absolute classic and a fantastic film. The DVD had a ton of great Bonus features too
