gladiator 2 wasn't as ass as I thought it would be! the drama certainly needed massaging to sell the stakes and emotional bonds more (scott has the annoying tendency to speed through that stuff like he fears it for some reason) but overall that shit functioned. denzel was having the time of his life. the action was borderline camp (bro they had sharks in there) but the real reason I want to talk about this movie is the utterly insane sexual tension between lucius and ravi every time they had a private conversation. you could cut through that stuff with a knife. if I didn't know who was directing this I'd almost feel queerbaited it was that electric

contemplating selling my sabrina tickets :/ I could only get standing tickets and have since been to the venue and seen the standing area (10k people) and like.. that's not gonna be an enjoyable experience for me. also the setlist doesn't really include my favourites the way the eics tour did. also they've moved the doors time to 5:30 which is impractical when i finish work at 5. but at the same time I've been wanting to see her live for soooo long I fear I'll regret it if I don't go :/

just wanted to say thank you to the one piece play museum for introducing me to a little cute area called tachikawa, an hour away from tokyo! they have this huge walkway around the buildings outside the station so you can avoid being down at the pedestrian level with cars!

although photography and filming were not allowed in the exhibition, it forced me to actually pay attention and learn things! they displayed all panels from all 1000 chapters! they also showed the printing press of volume 109 and it was so cool! made me appreciate all of the hard work it goes into publishing.

they also displayed some raw works from oda himself, his actual drafts with pencil and paper!!! so sick. plus they displayed a few colour walks that i dont think ive seen personally online. there was one with franky as the main and the crew were all having colas! luffy was feeding a koi fish some cola and on the side, zosan is on a bench drinking cola together. damn, i wish i couldve taken photos with my eyes!

i think this exhibition goes until early next year so if you will be in the country by any chance, i recommend going!
