Work has been kicking my ass to the point of burnout but im really hoping i get back into drawing sometime, I really miss doodling
in the meantime tho I’ve signed up for Japanese lessons and they made me do some quizzes to estimate my level, and I can safely say that two years of casual duolingo practicing puts me at juuuuuust shy of JLPT N5 level so idk if anyone’s interested to know
#text#duolingo isnt super great but it isnt nothing#like the big caveat is that they dont teach grammar or conjugation well at all but vocab is all there#I recognize kanji because i already know mandarin but there is nothing that teaches you stroke order beyond hiragana and katakana#but that is fine for me cause my goal is being able to cry to utada hikaru songs and read doujins. So listening and reading!
