You and Levi marry, but Theo storms the hall. Months go by and your daughter has arrived and all are doing well.

You sat in your bedroom window at Theo’s as you rubbed your bump. You’d been stuck with Theo for a week and your baby started kicking and moving more during that time. You wished Levi was with you to feel the joy of the life moving inside you, but he couldn’t be here. You both had a job to do and that was to find the law to end the torment. You both needed to prove that you could marry each other.

You turned your head to Theo calling your name. “Yes?”

He walked closer and smiled. “I’ve heard you’ve not been eating much today.”

You hummed. “I’m not hungry right now.”

“You should eat for the baby.” He smiled and sat on the window seat with you. “Perhaps there is something you and the baby are craving?”

You looked over at your ex and knew he meant well towards you, but not to Levi. You hugged yourself and shrugged. “I don’t know.”

“Surely there must be something?”

You smiled a little. “A nice meaty pie from the butchers.”

He kissed your forehead, which reminded you so much of Levi. “I’ll get you one. I will return soon.”

You waved to him and watched him leave. You looked out the window and waited for him to get into his carriage. “Finally.” You climbed out of the window seat and ran to Theo’s office. You searched every inch of his office and only found one drawer you couldn’t get into. “Damn it.” You stared at the draw and had a thought. “I wonder…”

You pulled the bottom drawer out and placed it to the side. You reached under the locked draw and pushed the bottom to see if it had a push-out bottom like some drawers do. You shoved the bottom up and realised your hunch was right. You shifted the bottom and tilted it allowing a few things to drop out. You watched as expensive things fell and finally a scroll of paper. You shoved everything else back before sitting with the scroll.

You let out a shaky breath as you stared at the scroll. “Please be it.” You opened it and rolled it out. Your eyes scanned the page. “Hm, old policies, blah blah blah…” You changed the page to the next. Your heart stopped and your eyes widened. “This…this is it.” You shot to your feet and shoved it down your corset. “I have to see Levi.” You put the office back together before running back to your room. “Shit, shit, shit. What do I do?”

You nibbled your lip in thought as you cast your gaze outside to the front of the house. You needed to get this law to Levi and leaving the house was not possible. You needed someone to help you and you were very sure no one in Theo’s home would. You needed someone outside of the house to help you. You needed Wendy.

“Sweetness?”

You flinched and looked to the doorway to see Theo. “Theo, you’re back.”

He hummed a laugh. “You were very much in your own world then.”

You sighed. “I was…”

“Something the matter?”

You nodded. “Yes, actually. I left something behind at the palace and I miss it. Wendy will know what it is because she supported me so much.”

Theo reached over and played with your hair. “I can just get you a new one?”

You shook your head. “No, no it’s very important to me. My parents live far away and it’s my connection to them.”

He kissed your cheek. “I’ll contact Wendy to drop it off and go back to the palace.”

“Thank you.”

He nuzzled his nose against yours. “No need to thank me. I know how much your parents mean to you.” He pulled back. “I will reach out now.”

“Thank you.”

He smiled. “I’m a busy man today for you.”

You gulped hard. “I guess you are. I appreciate it. I won’t ask for anymore, I swear.”

“I don’t mind spoiling you.” He kissed your forehead. “You’re worth it all.”

You smiled softly. “I guess I’ll go eat something, huh?”

“Please do as I arrange for Wendy to come over. I’ll send a messenger to collect her.”

You walked with him out of your room. “Why does being part of the royals mean so much to you? I mean, it was to your ancestors, but why are you carrying on this obsession?”

Theo stopped walking. “Elula cursed Levi’s family, cursed all royals. Before her husband, she was fooling around with my ancestor. She told him she loved him.”

“Really?”

Theo nodded and smiled sadly. “He was promised so much and then she met her husband.” He looked over at you and had a darkness in his eyes. “My family were tossed to the side, called nothing but a play toy and treated like dirt. We lost so much because of her. We lost him. He wasn’t the same and he…” He sighed. “We took revenge for him and wanted the family to suffer. He was supposed to marry her, not the man she had. We were robbed.”

You hugged yourself. “Elula is dead, long dead and gone. Levi’s family have nothing to do with it.”

He stared at you with suspicion. “What have you been doing? Have you found something?”

“I had no idea about your family member and Elula. This is the first time I’ve heard about it.” You held your hands up and backed up as he stalked closer. “I’m just simply saying that the original pain is gone. She died so very long ago. Making your whole life about revenge and then forcing your kids into it is terrible. Such hatred shouldn’t be passed on. You and whoever else is in your family could work with Levi to get your land back.” You bumped into the wall. “What I’m saying is, there are other options.”

He placed his hands on the wall on either side of your head. He leaned closer and sighed. “You are right, but I can’t just give up now. Too many lives have gone into this. Abril really wants this.”

“And what do you want?” You saw the sad look in his eyes. “What do you want, Theo?”

He stared at you then laughed sadly. “You know, humans struggle with cute things. When we see them, we’re not sure what to do.” He cupped your face. “Part of us wants to kill it because we see it as a threat, but at the same time we want to love and adore it.”

You placed your hands on Theo’s as you felt him squeeze a little. “Theo?”

“You see a cute thing and it drives you insane.” He laughed a little as he pressed more. “You just want to crush it.”

You gasped as you felt a little scared. “Theo!”

He released your and smiled. “We have this failsafe though. Something inside us stops us from hurting it. You just want to protect it and keep it as yours and only yours. You become possessive.” He slipped a hand over your lower back as his other hand tangled in your hair. “You become attached to it because you know how you felt about it and others will feel the same, so you’ll do anything to keep it as yours.”

“Theo…”

He pulled you against him and hummed. “I’m glad you are in my life. I love and adore you so much.”

You gulped hard. “Theo, you didn’t answer me.”

“I need to get Wendy here.” He released you. “You! Go to the palace and get Wendy. Ask her to collect the important family item and return it.” He turned to you. “We need to eat.”

You walked with him to the dining hall. “Theo, please.”

He pulled your chair out. “I’ve chosen my path.”

You sat down and stared at the food presented to you. “It’s never too late.”

“That’s a cute thing people say when they’re all out of options to talk someone down.”

You ate slowly. “Will you kill him?”

He sighed. “No, we just want what was owed to us.”

You stared at him. “You’re destroying a man’s happiness just because you want power? I’m struggling to understand it all. I know Elula did something terrible, but that doesn’t mean her distant family should suffer. Surely you won when she died old and alone with no children and her husband gone.”

“Shut up.”

You turned to him. “Theo, it just seems so silly carrying this on when she was punished.”

He slammed his fist on the table. “My family lost their land!”

“Your family lost their land because they let it go. They handed it over. You could take it back, but instead, you’ve neglected that land and it’s in ruin.”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

You stood up. “I was head researcher for Levi. I know the history of this land! He went to your old land and got Du Mont written books. You did this to yourselves and you won’t take responsibility.”

He gritted his teeth. “Take that back!

“You know it’s true. You do.” You walked closer to him. “I’m saying these things because I loved you once. You were my world. I still care about you and your wellbeing.”

Theo gripped his glass as he bought his emotions. “You don’t understand.”

“I know. I know I don’t and I’ve said I don’t.” You sighed and turned away. “I’m going to meet Wendy. The pie was a delight. Thank you.” You walked out and waited for Wendy. You smiled at her when she entered the home. You hugged her tightly. “I’m so happy to see you.”

Wendy whimpered. “Me too.”

You pulled back. “Come with me.” You held her hand and ran with her to your room. You locked the door and showed her your belly. “Look!”

She gasped and touched your bump. “So big!”

“They’re moving too. I wish Levi could feel them moving.”

“He will.”

You smiled. “You’re right.” You gasped and pulled out the law. “Did you bring what I missed?”

She nodded. “Of course.” She took the law and slipped it down her corset. “I knew you’d want it at some point.” She winked at you.

You tapped her chest. “Yes, it’s very important to me. It changes things for me.”

Wendy’s eyes lit up. “I’m so glad!”

You pulled back. “I miss him.”

“He misses you too. He really misses you.”

You smiled sadly. “You should go back.”

Wendy nodded and handed over a gift. “Here, from your parents.”

You opened it and smiled at the baby blanket and knew it was from Levi. “Oh…” You welled up. “It’s perfect, thank you.” You cleared your throat and held onto it tightly. “Let me escort you.” You led her to the front door and hugged her one last time. “See you.”

She smiled softly. “Walk me to my carriage.”

You giggled. “Okay.” You walked with her down the steps to the carriage. “Please be safe.”

“I will. I’m sorry.”

You frowned a moment. “Sorry?”

Mike leaned out. “For manhandling you.” He grabbed you making you squeak and yanked you into the carriage. “Got her!”

Wendy slammed the door shut. “Go!”

You wiggled on Mike’s lap. “What’s going on? I’m confused!”

Mike helped you to sit. “It’s a kidnapping.”

You stared at him and started laughing. “Okay?”

Wendy grinned. “As soon as I was called for, I knew instantly that you had what we needed. I grabbed Mike and well…here we are.”

You gripped the blanket. “Does Levi know?”

Mike nodded. “I left a short message with Hange and ran to help Wendy.”

You blushed. “I get to see Levi…it’s been too long.” You giggled. “I can’t wait.” You hummed.

Wendy gulped hard. “What’s going to happen? Theo is bound to find out what’s happened and want Levi’s head.”

You pointed to her chest. “We need to get that law to Levi.”

Wendy pulled it out of her corset and read the law. “He’s had this all along?”

You nodded. “It’s got seals of approval too. So, there’s no way it will be declared as fake.”

Mike took the papers and read over them. “Unbelievable. Levi can marry whoever he wants and if he can’t find love, he will be presented with potential brides. I can’t believe they hid this and manipulated people.” He frowned in thought before looking up at you. “And for what?”

You hugged yourself. “Because one of their family members got emotionally burned. I’ll explain it all when I see Levi. We need to get there as soon as possible.”

Mike leaned out the carriage window. “We’re almost there. We’re going as fast as possible.”

You took the law from Mike and read it over and over again. “I can’t believe it. I really can’t.”

Wendy hugged you close. “It’s wonderful, isn’t it?”

You welled up as you smiled. “Yes.”

Mike threw the door open. “Go!”

You stood in the doorway to see Levi running closer. “Levi!”

Levi smiled and opened his arms to you. “Bunny!”

You jumped into his arms and squealed. “LEVI!”

He spun around with you, then put you down and kissed you. “I missed you so much. I missed you and our baby.”

“They’re kicking!”

He gasped and held your bump. “Really?”

“Yes.”

He smiled softly. “I can’t wait to feel them kick.”

You offered him the papers. “Levi, you need to see this.”

He took the paper from you and looked closer. “What is it?” He held his breath. “Wait…” He flicked his gaze to you. “This is…”

You nodded. “It’s what we’ve been searching for. It’s the law that states we can be married. You’re in love with me, so you can marry me by law.”

Levi grabbed your hand and ran with you inside. “Come. Wendy! I need your help! Everyone, gather around I have orders!” He stopped in the hall. “We’re going to the city court and getting married! I need everyone to spread the word!” He held up the law. “I am legally allowed to marry whoever I want! I want everyone there!” He watched people run around. “Wendy? Could you get this sweet thing in her wedding dress?”

Wendy ushered you away. “Let’s get you changed.”

You looked back at Levi as he shouted more orders about arresting Abril and Theo. “He’s amazing.”

“He’s going to be your husband in a bit.”

You blushed. “Won’t people be mad that we’re not making a big event about it?”

“We’ll do something later.” She pulled you into the Empress room and pulled your clothes off. “I have this white dress that would be perfect as a wedding dress. It is a maternity one too.”

You hummed a laugh. “Wonderful!”

She helped you into the white dress and fixed your hair. “This is all so exciting. One minute you were with Theo and the next you’re back where you belong.”

You nodded. “It’s all happening so fast, but that does happen. Sometimes things run away from you or run with you.”

She nodded. “You’re right.”

Levi opened your door. “Everything is set in motion. I’ve changed into my Empress clothes.” He stopped and sated at you. He gasped your name and smiled. “You look wonderful.”

You blushed a little as you stared at Levi. “Thank you.”

He walked over to you and held your baby bump. “You also look wonderful.”

You giggled. “Our baby thanks you.”

He held your hands. “Come on, we have a wedding to go to.”

You kissed him and sighed. “Yes.”

He hurried along with you. “My wonderful Empress.”

You blushed. “Yes.” You looked back at Wendy. “Wendy, I need you with me. You’re my maid of honour.”

She gasped and ran after you. “Yes!”

Levi whisked you away to the waiting open-top carriage. You were held close to your lover as you rode into the city to see people running around to see you both. You blushed and waved to people as you went past and earned waves back. You blushed hard and snuggled up to Levi a little more. Levi held you and waved to the people. He turned his head and kissed you to the screams and cheers of people. You blushed and hid a little from the people as Levi hugged you.

Levi kissed the top of your head and stood up on the carriage when you stopped. “Ladies and gentlemen! I would like to announce that I will be marrying the love of my life today. She was my sweet and kind maid who cared for my sick father. I fell for her kind and sweet heart.” He took your hand and helped you to stand. “We’ve been denied marriage because someone kept the law hidden that allowed us to have our happiness, but no more! We have the proof and the real law. Those who sort to stop us will be hunted down and punished.” He pulled you close. “One last thing, we’re expecting a baby!”

You giggled as people cheered for you both. “Thank you, all of you.”

Levi climbed out and helped you out of the carriage. “Let’s get married.” He moved you inside with your friends. “Guards are ready to stop the Du Monts.”

You nibbled your lip. “Do you think they’ll try something?”

Levi nodded. “Theo will. I think Abril will drop it. We’ve been talking a lot and she doesn’t seem too interested in marrying me. She asked about me and you a lot. She wanted to know our story. She said she wanted a love like we have.”

You blushed. “I’m glad she’s not like Theo.”

“Theo is bitter about losing you.”

You walked into the main hall and hummed. “I guess you’re right.”

Levi showed the judge the law and talk to him about what he wanted. He smiled and turned to you. “Ready?”

You nodded and walked with him to the judge’s office. “I’m ready.”

The judge placed the marriage papers in front of you and Levi with Erwin and Wendy as witnesses. He smiled and signed the bottom after you and Levi did. “Perfect.” He stamped the paper. “Congratulations. By Paradis law, you are now married.”

Erwin smiled. “I’ll stay with the judge to ensure the law gets filed correctly.”

The judge smiled. “I don’t want laws to be hidden or stolen. I firmly believe in the law. I love what I do. I won’t let someone take away the laws and hide them.” He placed his hand on yours and Levi’s shoulder. “Besides, I will not stop love. Go and enjoy yourselves.”

You bowed your head. “Thank you.”

Levi smiled. “We appreciate this so much.” Levi walked with you slowly out of the office and through the hall. He leaned over and kissed your cheek a few times. “Mine, all mine.”

You giggled. “Yes, my love.” You jumped when you heard shouting and screams. “Levi?”

He handed you to Wendy. “Stay back, both of you.” He moved to the doors and opened them a little. “Tch, Theo has decided to attack with his guards.” He pulled his sword off his hip. “Stay here and together with Erwin.”

You grabbed Levi’s hand. “Be careful.” You kissed him. “I love you and so does our baby. Stay alive.”

“I swear. Now stay here.”

You nodded and backed up towards Wendy. You whined as you watched Levi run out of the double doors and into the battle. “Wendy?”

She hurried you along to a courtroom. “We’ll wait here.”

You nibbled your lip as you listened to the muffled shouts and fighting. “Please be okay…” You rubbed your belly and felt your baby move a lot. You hissed a bit. “Ow.”

Wendy sat you down. “The baby can tell you’re worrying.”

You welled up. “Of course, I’m worrying. My husband is out there fighting and I want him back.” You gasped as the door flung open, but it was only Erwin. “Erwin.”

He hurried over to you and Wendy. “Sorry I surprised you both. I’ll protect you if anyone comes for you.”

Wendy held your hand tightly. “Mike…”

You smiled. “He’ll be okay. He’s strong.”

She nodded. “Yes.”

You jumped and hugged Wendy when the front doors slammed open. You stared at the courtroom doors as someone walked closer. “Erwin?”

Erwin grabbed the flagpole with the Paradis flag on and readied himself. “I won’t let them touch you.”

The doors slammed open to reveal Theo with cuts and blood on him, his hair a mess, he was panting with a bloodshot eye and a sword in hand. He looked up and screamed your name. “Get here NOW. We’re going home.”

“Don’t you dare lay a hand on her. She is the Empress!”

Theo gritted his teeth. “You married him? You WHORE!”

Erwin charged at Theo and fended him off with the flagpole. He shoved Theo back and smacked him around the face with the pole. “She’s not going anywhere with you.”

Theo twisted and sliced Erwin’s right arm. “Give her to me!” He grabbed you and yanked you away from Wendy making Wendy scream. “Move it!”

You pulled and fought against Theo. “Let me go!” You yanked him close and punched him in the throat. “LEVI!” You ran to the doors with Theo stumbling after you. “LEVI!” You turned to Theo as he raised his sword. You put your arms up. “Don’t! Please don’t! My baby.”

He paused a moment as he glanced at your belly. He hesitated a moment before darkness spread in his gaze. “I’ll kill you and break him.”

You watched him flinch as a sword pierced through him. Levi leaned around Theo and twisted. “Not unless I kill your first.”

Theo smirked as blood trickled from his mouth. “I always knew it’d end this way.”

Levi yanked his sword out and watched Theo stumble before collapsing to the floor. “Tch, I won’t let you rip my family apart anymore.” He offered his hand to you. “Come here, my love.”

You grabbed his hand and pulled yourself to your feet. You wrapped your arms around Levi and whined. “I was so scared for our baby.”

Levi rubbed your back as he looked down at Theo. “I won’t let him hurt you both.” He stared at Theo as he bled on the floor. He glanced up at Mike walking through the double doors. “Mike.”

You pointed. “Wendy is in there and she’s okay.”

Mike bowed. “Thank you.”

You clung to Levi and sniffed. “I wanna go home.”

Levi rubbed your back. “We’ll go home, I promise.”

You smiled at your baby girl as you carried her to the warm bowl of water. You pressed the end of her nose making her giggle. You shifted her and put her in the water a little. “Let’s get you all cleaned up.”

Levi slammed the door open and gasped. “You’re bathing her without me!?”

You looked over at your husband and giggled. “You had a meeting.”

He pulled his Emperor things off and tossed them onto the chair until he was in his high-waisted trousers and white shirt. “I know.”

You leaned over and kissed him when he stood at your side. “Both of us are always here for you.”

He put an arm around you and looked down at his daughter. “She’s so cute.” He hummed a laugh when she giggled and splashed the water. “Little Kuchel. My little Ku.”

You washed her up with Levi’s help. “Could you dry her for me?”

“Of course.” He lifted his daughter up and out of the bath. “Come, little one.”

You dried your hands and took care of the water. You walked back to the bed to see Levi had Ku lying on her back in blankets as Levi partly lay on the bed and kissed her feet. “Levi?”

He looked over at you. “Just a bit longer.”

You hummed a laugh. “My parents are coming back with yours today. I think they want to see their granddaughter in clothes and not butt naked.”

He sighed and sat up. “Fine, fine.”

You handed him her nappy and clothes. “I know she’s cute and giving her kisses is lovely, but our parents want to see her. I wish we could have her all to ourselves too.”

Levi changed his daughter and hummed. “We’ll have her all to ourselves in a week.”

You ruffled his hair. “Exactly.”

He turned and held your hips as his daughter wiggled on the bed. He kissed your stomach and sighed. “I want another baby.”

You giggled. “Kuchel is only three months old.”

He pouted against your stomach. “I know, but I love babies.”

“We can try when she’s close to one.” You pulled his head back and kissed him. “I would like more as well. Evan would be a lovely name for a boy.”

Levi lit up. “Yes. I also have a long list of boys’ and girls’ names.”

“I know you do.” You hummed a laugh. “Come on, let’s take the little princess to see her grandparents. You can hold her.”

Levi gasped. “Really? Yes!” He picked up Ku and held her against his chest. “Hi, baby. You’re hanging out with daddy today.”

You chuckled. “When she grows up you’re going to be a mess.”

“She won’t grow up.”

“Hmm, sure.”

He pouted at you. “I don’t want her to.”

“She will.” You tickled her puffy cheek making Ku smile. “She’ll be a daddy’s girl.”

Levi kissed Ku’s head causing her to make a little noise. “I think she’ll be all over her brave and smart mummy.”

You rubbed Levi’s back. “Flirt.”

He kissed you. “Always.”

You patted him on the bum and opened the bedroom door. “Come on.”

Levi walked out with Kuchel and waited for you. “She keeps looking for you.”

You closed the door and hurried over. “I’m here baby.” You held her tiny hand as you walked with Levi. “I bet your mum will cry again.”

“Probably. She was so moved when we told her we are calling our baby Kuchel after her.”

“Your mum’s wonderful.”

Levi blushed. “Thanks. Your parents are gems.”

You smiled softly. “They’re wonderful. Thank you for giving them a nice home here.”

“They’re family.”

You looked down the steps to see your parents and Levi’s enter the palace. “Welcome back!”

Your mother ran over and hugged you. “Good to see you, sweetie.”

Your dad hugged you after your mother. “You look wonderful.”

You smiled. “Thank you, both.”

Levi walked over and smiled. “Ku says hello too.”

Your mum held her little hand. “Hello, my sweet little muffin.”

Your dad awed. “She’s so cute.”

Levi handed his daughter over to your mother. “She’s freshly washed, so she smells wonderful.”

Your mum bounced Ku. “She smells so nice.”

Levi pulled you close and held you as he watched his daughter. “She’s a sweet little thing.”

You kissed Levi’s cheek. “She is.”

Kuchel ran over and gasped. “Baby! Hello, Ku.”

Sebastian walked over and hummed a laugh. “She’s adorable. She reminds me of Levi. He had that bright look in his eyes.”

Kuchel gave you a hug. “How are you feeling?”

You smiled. “Good. I’m all healed up and feel better. Levi wants more kids already.”

Sebastian let out a deep belly laugh. “That lad.”

Levi blushed. “Not a word, dad.”

You giggled at the pair being playful with each other. You walked with your family to the sitting area and watched them talk and play. You updated them on a lot that had happened. You listened to their stories about their massive holiday together and the things they had gotten up to. Levi ended up with Ku on his chest when she started getting sleepy. He let her sleep on his chest while you stayed talking with your family. Your family finally left to go to their houses and let you and Levi have some peace with Ku.

You moved to your private living room and sat with Tutus on the floor and played with him as Levi lay on the sofa with Ku. You rolled Tutus onto his back and gave him belly scratches. “Good boy.”

Levi inhaled and opened his eyes. “Good boy?”

You looked over at Levi. “Not for you. I was talking to Tutus.”

Levi pouted. “So, I’m not a good boy?”

You giggled. “You’re a good boy.”

“Thank you.”

You hummed a laugh and picked up Tutus allowing you to cuddle him. “You’re welcome. Wendy and Mike should be back from their honeymoon in three days.”

Levi nodded. “No doubt we’ll hear she’s pregnant.”

You laughed. “You think?”

“I know it. Those two are rampant like us.” He smiled when Ku sat up on him. “Hello, my little baby.”

Kuchel rubbed her little eyes. “Mm.”

“You feel better?”

She reached over and patted Levi’s face. “Eh!”

You laughed. “I agree, he’s very handsome.”

Levi lifted her up and held her in the air and gave her a wiggle. He smiled when she squealed with laughter. “Thank you.” He lowered her down and sat up a little. He adjusted her so she could see you. “Look, it’s mummy.”

Ku clocked you and smiled in delight. “Ma! Mm.”

You leaned up and kissed her cheek. “Hello.” You lifted up Tutus. “Look! It’s Sir Tutus!”

Levi chuckled at his daughter laughing in delight. “He’s a cute dog, isn’t he?”

“You want to pet him? Be careful.”

Levi helped Ku pet Tutus. “Good girl.”

Tutus sniffed Ku making her squeal with laughter. He licked Ku’s cheek as his bum wiggled in happiness. Tutus was always good with Ku. He looked after her, watched her closely as well to make sure she was alright. He’d grab her toys if she launched them across the room and give them back to her. You knew when she would start walking, Tutus would be right next to her.

Levi laughed. “Good boy, Tutus.”

You let Tutus go and watched him trot over to his toy. “Lovely boy.” You looked over at Ku as she started fussing and getting close to crying. “Oh, dear.”

Levi handed her over to you. “I think she’s hungry.”

You hummed and shifted your dress and let Ku feed. “Yes, she was really hungry.”

Levi slipped off the sofa and sat next to you. He leaned over and kissed you. “You’re a wonderful mother and wife.”

You blushed a little. “Thank you. You’re the perfect husband and father.”

He smiled softly. “I’m sorry for all the problems that I caused over your life, but I’m so glad we fixed it all and could be like this.”

“Me too. It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait for what else our future holds.”

- katsuki knows. he's read it all. mutual pining, enemies to lovers, amnesia fics, fairytale aus, soulmate aus... name it and he's read them at least once. behind your back of course. simply because he’d be too embarrassed to even admit it anyway.

- he’s secretly a hopeless romantic. it's a cute quirk of his that he doesn't want anyone else to know and has become one of the qualities that you absolutely adore about him. his mother's fascination for rom-coms and romance novels (which, according to him, he had to "suffer" through when he was a kid) fueled his hidden interest in shoujo mangas.

- he reads them because of the beautiful art and the "cool and bad-ass" male love interests that he wants to portray in real life to impress you. but alas, your man just outright exposes himself when you catch him reading Ouran High School Host Club and My Little Monster, two manga series that feature adorkable and care-free male protagonists whom are the exact opposite of everything your boyfriend stands for.

- and so, romance fics are not a foreign concept to him. he's especially interested in mafia aus because he is absolutely enthralled over the fact that people headcanon him as a sexy mafia boss or in royal aus, where he’s this hot and bad-ass king of a prosperous kingdom. you bet he reads them at 3 in the morning on AO3 with his phone's brightness on the low. sometimes, he tries to sniff away his tears because how are these writers able to write him damn good? it’s the ✨characterization and hurt/comfort for bakugo ✨

SHOTO TODOROKI:

- your icy-hot cutie has absolutely no idea what fanfictions are. in fact, he doesn’t even know how (y/n)/reader-insert fics even work or how you’re supposed to read them.

- fanfiction is a very foreign concept to him. well, it isn’t necessarily your traditional book or novel that you can find on your shelf or in the bookstore like harry potter or percy jackson, so you understood his naivete on this particular subject very well. when you introduced shoto to the concept of fanfiction and it’s online community however, it was as if he had opened the doors to a new world.

- “what does (y/n) mean?” he innocently asks one time. (oh god he’s truly a pure and sweet cinnamon roll who could do nothing wrong in this world.) “it means your name.” you reply promptly, quietly giggling at your boyfriend’s curiosity.

“oh... so should i read it like this? shoto gazed into shoto’s heterochromatic eyes..?”

“shoto babe, t-that’s... not how you read it love.”

- shoto is a fluff connoisseur through and through. baby fics, friends to lovers, sharing a bed, and coffee shop aus are some of his all-time faves. he likes to read fics that are easier to understand and read ones that can bring a quick smile to his face. but, there are times when he gets too invested. one of those times was when he became a little too immersed into a 50k word angst fic (a genre he barely reads by the way) and his pretty eyes are so glued to the screen that when he finished it, he spent half of the entire day being consoled by you because of how emotionally hurt and affected he was. that fic truly made an impact on him and it was going to take a long time before he could gain the courage to read another one soon.

IZUKU MIDORIYA:

- you’ve always known how bookish izuku is from the very beginning. how observant he is, how he tends to ramble and talk about things passionately and in detail are truly some of the traits of someone who reads a lot. it’s no surprise though. izuku is quite a nerd and a fanboy, so him reading stories online about All Might or of superheroes he sees on movies and comic books were not far off.

- in fact, he reads the fics with you. it’s like having a little ol’ book club but only you and your seaweed-haired boyfriend were the only members. magic aus, cross-overs, canon divergence, historical aus, or just anything story-heavy and detailed are his most read. slow burn fics is also where it's ar for him! what’s even better is that you read some of these long ones with him sometimes and its cute to see him so immersed and you just want to pinch his cheeks.

- izu’s really into reading multi-chapter fics. one that can rival actual existing books and novellas. 50k words? that wasn’t a challenge for him. he’d read through everything and he’d ponder over them right after. discussing them with you and just a lot of cute little rambles coming from him that make you fall for him even more.

- when izuku finally gathered the courage to read self-insert fics of him, his flustered expression and shy composure had no end. he was blushing all through out when he read his first drabble (which was only composed of 300 words by the way) because he’s so in awe and so grateful over the fact that people write stories about him and now, it feels like he's part of those same famous people and characters he used to read stories of.

What do you think it would be like if Bella decided, as soon as she found out about Victoria in New Moon, to ask Carlisle's old friends the Volturi for help?

Interesting premise anon.

As usual, I feel the need to explain why this wasn't on the table (yes, I know, I know).

Why Didn't Bella Go to the Volturi in New Moon?

Bella spent most of New Moon a depressed blob. Specifically, when she finds out about Victoria via Laurent, she's at her lowest point. Jake has dumped her for seemingly no reason (with the 'it's not you, it's me' speech no less), Edward's still not around, and being Bella still sucks.

When Laurent comes across her, while she half-heartedly follows Hallucination Edward's instructions to keep her alive, she's mostly just there accepting her fate. Get eaten by a rando vampire, typical.

Laurent then gets eaten by giant wolves and Bella gets home. She remembers Laurent talking about Victoria but Bella's so low functioning it's not even really a concern. By the time it is, Bella's in on the wolf secret and she counts on them to protect her, Charlie, and the town of Forks.

Even then Bella doesn't really fully appreciate the danger she's in. She'd like not to get eaten by Victoria, sure, but that would be just Bella's luck, wouldn't it?

Point being, Bella never views Victoria as a huge problem she has to somehow solve. Which means, of course, she doesn't have to brainstorm solutions.

Well, say Bella doesn't find out about the wolves (too low functioning to put Jake's strong hints together) or else that they don't have the deluge of shifting and it's just Sam out there. Say that Bella's aware enough to realize that Victoria could probably kill her at any point and may come after her father or Renee.

I don't know if the Volturi would be the first people that come to mind.

Bella was introduced to the concept of the Volturi once, and very vaguely at that. Edward showed her a painting, said they were Carlisle's old friends, oddly sophisticated vampires who very much still eat people and are patrons of the art and... sort of a royal family who impose this law that humans can't know about vampires. Edward was extremely vague and not very helpful.

Partly because Edward is breaking the law right in that moment and doesn't want Bella to realize that he's sentencing her (and his entire family) to death should he be caught.

So, Bella in New Moon doesn't really understand what this law thing is about, but she does know that she might be breaking it and that they might eat her. That, and Victoria might not be breaking the law herself, eating people is not against the law and that's all Victoria really wants to do here.

Bella has no idea that Victoria has a newborn army in the works yet.

Running to three dudes in a painting is probably not a great idea.

Let's AU Anyway

But alright, Bella spends several weeks thinking about this. She doesn't know about the wolves or else she knows they're vastly outnumbered and in no condition to protect the town from a wrathful vampire. Victoria wants Bella dead and could very well come after Charlie and Renee. She could hold the entire town hostage.

Bella either can sit and die in Forks, the most depressing thing she can think of, or she can try to get help.

She'll probably still die, but at least she'll be in Tuscany, she can die with a glass of wine in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other. And if Bella's eaten by some other vampire then Victoria will probably go away, right?

Bella says, "Tally ho" and purchases herself a plane ticket and winds up in Volterra, picks the most vampire looking building she can think of (happens to be right), says she's an acquaintance of Carlisle Cullen's to the shockingly human secretary.

Aro then has the weirdest interview of his life.

Bella tells him the censored version of how she and the Cullens came into each other's worlds (made very difficult as Bella can't say the name "Edward" out loud). Bella explains that they left her because she's stupid and human and that now the vampire who was trying to kill her last year is back to kill her again and she is literally out of options.

She realizes Aro doesn't have to do anything, probably won't, but she figured if she was going to be eaten by a vampire she'd go with the option of Not Victoria.

If Aro wants to kill Victoria too before she eats Forks that would also be great.

Aro explains that this is a little more complicated. Since Edward let Bella in on the secret it was Edward's job to either kill her or turn her, he was never supposed to run away (what the hell, Carlisle?)

Bella's also right in that this Victoria person isn't technically breaking Volturi law, sadly, and it says a lot about vampires, but murder is very kosher. Especially murder of humans. Ordinarily, Aro would not intervene.

However, Bella seems to have an extraordinary gift, Aro considers himself a very close friend of Carlisle's and any friend of Carlisle's is a friend he can and will help, and this is just the saddest story he's ever heard.

So here's what they'll do: They'll turn Bella, she can stay here in Volterra (a position in the guard is open if she wants it) or if she wishes Aro can call Carlisle so she can join the Cullens (Bella hard passes on that one), Aro will send out someone to take care of this Victoria person and ensure her father and mother's safety, and everything will be alright.

Bella did not realize being turned into a vampire was even on the table. She is down for that and asks if Aro can bite her right that second. Aro just sort of stares.

Bella gets turned that evening.

Caius is beyond pissed that they're cleaning up Carlisle's messes but Aro points out that this is a pretty sweet deal. Bella shows unbelievable potential and what's taking care of one stray vampire?

Well, he sends someone out to find this Victoria and, lo and behold, she was building a newborn army. The newborn army gets massacred almost immediately by Jane, Aro thanks his lucky stars Bella came before Victoria set these people on any city, and eventually Aro probably calls up Carlisle to tell him.

Bella doesn't really want to see him (or Edward, definitely not Edward), but Aro went ahead and turned her and now she's in Volterra. You're welcome, Carlisle.

Carlisle decides it's better not to tell Edward.

Of course, this goes awry when Edward eventually returns to Forks and hears reports of Bella's death. He heads to Volterra, intent on killing himself, and there's Bella. Standing right behind Aro, looking like a vampire demon.

Their reunion is very very awkward.

Especially as, blaming himself for Bella's sudden case of vampirism, Edward still tries to goad the Volturi into killing him. Bella never quite recovers from the idea that, apparently, the idea of Bella being a permanent fixture on this earth was enough for Edward to want to kill himself.

This is the first time I've rlly heard about Riku since I followed you, what's his deal? :0 would you mind telling me a little bit about him?

HELLO THERE YES ABSOLUTELY I WILL TELL YOU ALL ABOUT MY BOY!!!!

Ok so this is the first ask I ever answered about him and it is a semi good summary of his plot but a lot has happened since then (it was over a year ago) so I'll go over it again here for convenience. This predictably got long af so it's under a read more.

Also if you want any more random bits of info you can find it by searching for "riku kirijo" on my blog (or on Tumblr itself he has his own tag 💀)! I make random little fact posts about him so there's more info in those. You'll also probably find my older art for him for his previous design, but the last art piece I did is his design as of now and probably won't be changed cause I'm super happy with it. Also if you look under "oc tag" or "au tag" I tag some random posts with those if I think they fit the au (it's usually silly jokes and stuff).

Basically Riku is my Persona 5 OC and he's the eldest (and only) son of Yukari and Mitsuru from P3 (I'm sure you know by now I'm a massive Yukamitsu fan but if not now you do 💀). Now obvs there's not enough of a time gap in canon for this to be possible so the gap in this AU is about 30 years, I haven't worked that part out yet. He also has one sister (Yuna).

Riku's story starts really about two years before the events of P5 (btw I mean Royal but I'm just gonna refer to it as P5 cause I'm lazy). Basically he was feeling very lonely, had a hard time making friends and felt he needed to step out of his moms shadows. So he decides to move to Tokyo to get a chance to live out on his own and have a change of scenery. Because he's only 14/15 at the time he can't live on his own and for reasons I'll go into another time, his moms can't come with him. So enter Chiyoko Hatanaka, one of Mitsuru's high ranking staff who offers to become Riku's guardian of sorts while he's in Tokyo. Mitsuru agrees and Riku moves to Tokyo with her enrolling in Kosei High (he's in the same class as Yusuke and Hifumi).

However a few months after they moved, Hatanaka starts to drop her nice act and reveals her true colors and starts abusing Riku (both physically and mentally). I won't reveal the reason why as that's a huge spoiler and I plan on doing something with this story eventually. Riku doesn't tell anyone ofc because he's too scared (Hatanaka has some serious dirt on the Kirijo Group which she uses to blackmail him). So Mitsuru and Yukari have no idea this is happening but have noticed weird changes in his behavior whenever he comes home to visit.

Fast forward to just after Madarame's Palace and Yusuke mentions to the thieves that there's someone he'd like to look into - Hatanaka. He and Riku had this kind of mutual understanding of what was happening to them but never really acknowledged it (they didn't know how - I planning on going into more detail another time). The thieves agree after they see her name on the Phansite (anonymous request from Riku himself). At the TV station the shujin trio actually meet Riku (he's there because Yukari or Mitsuru are giving an interview idk yet). He introduces himself after telling some creep hitting on Ann to fuck off and he's very chatty and kind UNTIL Hatanaka shows up when he becomes super quiet. The thieves are like huh that's weird we should look into this chick for sure. So they do and ofc she has a Palace.

They start investigating and they find out her palace is at her and Riku's apartment (more of a penthouse) and the keyword is Studio. The palace is called "The Studio of Arrogance" and is modeled after a TV station. Riku accidentally gets dragged in and captured by Hatanaka's goons. The thieves find Hatanaka interrogating a chained up Riku where she reveals a few things (again spoilers) and torments him. He has enough, breaks free of his chains and then BOOM Persona time.

His persona is Pimpernel, the titular character in the book The Scarlet Pimpernel. He specializes in Physical and Aqua (Water element from P2) attacks and his best stat is speed (easily the fastest thief).

Riku and the thieves fight off against her goons, and escape to a safe room where they tell Riku everything. Riku also wants to change Hatanaka's heart so he teams up with the thieves with his code name being "Noble". I have a WIP of his phantom thief outfit and Pimpernel so I won't say much about the design for now (purple Flynn rider that's the best mini description I can give 💀)

After they've beaten Hatanaka's palace and changed her heart successfully the rest of the story is pretty much the same but with Riku in it. Mitsuru, Yukari and Yuna also play big roles because the three of them move to Tokyo to stay with Riku after they find out about the abuse. They each have their own background arc too but aside from Mitsuru I don't really have any ideas for them yet (even Mitsuru's is a concept idea).

And that's pretty much his story for now at least! If there's anything specific you want to know please ask because I will literally sit here for hours and rant about him <3

Destabilization FAQ

Nobody asked anything yet so I will just assume which questions would be asked and answer them.

Before I begin I would like to give a huge thanks to:

-NeKoZe.MP6 for making a megalo for my AU even though there wasn’t even a page for it yet. Please give their channel a watch if you enjoy Undertale AU music and such!

-Soup Taels for making the beautiful logo for the AU that I am currently using. He does great pixel art and can be commissioned, so hey, if you need some sprites done and have some money to spare, be sure to give him a visit! Just for reference, the last logo that was made by me looked like this:

So yeah you can tell how much of an improvement his stuff is.

What is Destabilization?

Destabilization is an Undertale AU. I can’t spoil much currently but I can give you you the basic premise. There was a certain incident (can’t say what) in the past which caused some of the characters to do different things and fulfill different roles. The things you want to know are:

Frisk is the protagonist;

Toriel, Asriel and Chara live in the Ruins;

Sans and Alphys are both the royal scientists and live together in Snowdin (Nothing romantic between them, just work/friends);

Undyne is the captain of the royal guard and lives in Waterfall.

Mettaton is a TV star but he goes around the Underground much more frequently, and visits Napstablook, his cousin who makes music for his shows, occasionally;

Papyrus is the king of monsters;

The river person does their thing;

As for the roles the characters fulfill in the story, can’t really say since some of the characters either don’t quite fit into the roles Undertale has, or their roles aren’t present in Undertale. I will say some stuff about the personalities of the characters when I post their designs. As of writing this I am still in the planning and writing stage so I don’t know how much stuff I will post.

Can I make my own take on this AU?

Please don’t do this, I came up with this having a vision of what I want to do. I really don’t want the whole UnderSwap thing to happen to my AU(I’m referring to the fandom creating a whole separate version of an already established character and passing it off as canon). Not much you can even do in terms of takes of this AU since it doesn’t really have a specific formula or something.

Can I make an AU of this AU?

Yes and no. You can make them if it isn’t just for the sake of making them. The story and characters should be actually thought out if you make them (I would prefer if you don’t make any dust or murder AUs of mine, thanks in advance). Also if you do make one, you should credit me for the original AU.

Can I make (1) unofficial music for this AU/(2) music for an AU of this AU?

(1)Yes you can, as long as you acknowledge and specify that it isn’t canon and credit me.

(2)The answer is essentially the same as (1) , but, if you do make the music, don’t claim to own the AU of the AU unless you actually own it or have thought it out and actually started writing it or stuff like that. Of course you own the music, just not the whole AU. I am okay with people making themes for Swap or Fell or any AU versions of my characters, in fact, I would love it if someone made that kind of stuff. If you do make them, and follow the rules, be sure to send it to me somehow or tag me or something, I would love to hear what you come up with. :)

Can I make fanfictions/roleplay with your characters?

Just acknowledge and specify that it isn’t canon and you’re fine.

Can I feature your characters in my AU?

If my characters are gonna be used as punching bags for some OP Sans or something, then no. Otherwise feel free to do it, just credit me.

Can I draw your characters?

Absolutely! I would love to see it! Just credit me and that’s it.

Why is *insert something* like that, it’s different in Undertale!

Not all of the things that are canon in Undertale are canon in Destabilization. Some concepts and mechanics might differ. Also, this AU doesn’t reflect what I think stuff in Undertale is actually like.

Can I ship your characters with others?

Fontcest, incest(even adopted siblings) and any of them that involve the kids(unless both the characters are kids and it’s kept family friendly) are strictly off-limits. Otherwise go ahead but don’t insist any of it is canon.

Okay- here we go-

The Steampunk Minish AU

I'll leave a whole bunch of explanations under the cut because it's a mess. There's a lot....

Okay getting the minish themselves out of the way first- these are just three of them.

So first off is the minish girl with a mini guardian sword. She's the reason it turned into spirit tracks brainrot so it was fitting to give her an outfit based off of the engineers outfit.

She has a grappling hook as well, which is mostly for scaling up tables, chairs, and bookshelves in the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. And the guardian sword, due to being effective against guardians, is used to sever connections inside of them.

I had a sibling ask (around the vaatea au) if the minish used acorns as coffee cups so she has coffee in an acorn. She needs it.

Next is this guy. I honestly haven't put much thought into him except he's probably alot older than he looks. Also I think he'd vibe with Robbie in Akkala. Those goggles he has probably move like Robbies do as well.

He was also the one who made the little guardian sword.

Oh and his tail is under his clothes. It's probably so it doesn't get in the way.

Alright- my personal favorite and also the one that will probably out me on discord cause they're based off another OC I've already shown off and do not shut up about. Anyway, they're a ray of sunshine.

So they seem to carry a lot of tools on them, some of which can't be seen. They also have a lot of belts on their jacket, which, while it seems like just a fashion statement, I think they have a use. Most likely for holding more tools. The big pockets probably have tiny nuts bolts and screws. Also snacks. They gotta make sure their partner didn't just have coffee for breakfast.

So Purah. She's actually pretty important since, not only is she a scientist, she can see them all as well. I had a theory a while back that she turned into a child to study minish and then that was cut from the game. She can see them but, can't quite understand them at that point. Maybe she makes a translator or finds a jabber nut later.

The minish trying to explain something here might be the first based off of handedness but also might be the first ones mother. The first picture has her speaking minish while the bottom has her drawing out a wrench, glasses, and a sword. The sword might be in reference to the minish cap.

Yep. They still wear leaf cloaks. But they're more for camouflage now. Botw may not have cats that I know of but they do have birds that typically eat mice. And the manga did show that yep animals can see the minish pretty well actually.

Alright- the fun part! It's mostly going to be explanation since- guardians...

Robbie studied guardians mostly so its probably his research that gave the minish the knowledge on their inner workings.

So the first picture has who I think is a younger version of the second minish.

We saw where Link had trouble climbing up sheikah walls and the minish probably had the same problem.

Theres one scene from secret world of Arrietty where they use double sided tape for climbing, and i wanted to use that but I didn't think tape was a thing invented in the zelda universe. And (after an adult timeline and beyond quest) SURE ENOUGH- Spirit Tracks wellspring station. Also possibly Purah or Robbies labs. So... I guess that can be a thing...

Secondly is the guardian labeled dead. It's been taken down. One thing I should mention- I'd like to think that if the active guardian stalkers are closer to towns or roads used regularly there's probably more of a chance that they'd be immobilized.

Plus the thought of the scene from revenge of the sith, with the AT-AT, would probably be cool with a guardian.

The guardians probably would go even more haywire than they already were while trying to shut them down and it's probably better if there isn't a giant spider robot running into one of the stables.

Link ran into this guardian, and knows he didn't take it down. So who or what did...?

There's a third unfinished doodle that I couldn't bring myself to finish, mainly because i couldn't figure out anything about the inside of a guardian. What I know is that there are gears, shafts, springs, and cores. I wanted initially to let them meet the hylian champion but- this link is more of an adult and he probably can't see them.

Finally- I did say it devolved into spirit tracks.

The first picture is a book on New Hyrule, which is covering the Spirit Train, The Hero of Spirits, and Byrne apparently. This book might have been lost somewhere in Hyrule Castle, since I'd like to believe the royal family would keep track of all the legends and history of Hyrule.

Finally, the final picture.

So the minish girl (Okay they all really need names...) is trying to decide on how to power the train. Sheikah technology or Lokomo technology. Two very different technologies.

They are not the same. Not even remotely.

The train she's in the middle of sketching was from the ST concept art. Apparently the book she was reading didn't have much on steam power.

(But that doesn't mean it's the only book. If I had to guess there's most likely a few more books on the technology from new hyrule.)

I'd like to have eventually a train going from Akkala to Hatenos lab, and eventually go across all of Hyrule

So I've been playing The Hades Game like fucking mad for the last few weeks, and although I'm not very far in it (at least, I don’t think I am; I’ve only beat Hades once!), I'm absolutely in love with it! Anyways, a certain idea has been kicking around in my head for awhile now, so I thought I'd share it with y'all; feel free to tell me what you think of it! (Warning: spoilers for when you beat Hades the first time!)

Anyways, I've already seen a really cool AU post for if Demeter raised Zagreus on the surface by herself (which you can find HERE; please check it out, the outfit for Zag alone is an amazing concept, and I love the artwork!!!) but I keep thinking about an AU where, after Zagreus dies at birth, Persephone runs away and takes his wrapped up body with her.

On the surface, she reconnects/reunites with her mother Demeter, and with her aid, the two of them manage to resurrect the newborn baby, though now he has more white in his hair than anything else. After that, Persephone sends Hades a letter to tell him that Zagreus is alive and well (because she actually has some fucking class), before proceeding to raise Zagreus on the surface with her mother, far away from the entrance to hell. The Olympians also help her out a bit, but mostly they just help by hiding Zagreus when it’s necessary.

(The rest is under a cut ‘cus this got a bit long, sorry!)

Years pass in relative peace, until Zagreus is about as old as he is in-game (I think he’s around 20-25ish???) and is living well, working with his mom and grandma to take care of their gardens and live peacefully away from mankind; he especially loves tending to the animals and guiding lost mortals to safety. However, one day while foraging for fruit in the deepest corners of his mother’s signature garden, Zagreus happens across a strange man in long robes, who introduces himself as Thanatos.

The two men get along swimmingly from minute one, and after agreeing to meet with each other again soon, they leave and tell their families/friends all about the experience, having no clue who they are to each other. After all, Thanatos was told growing up that his lord’s first wife died giving birth to their first and only child, who was a stillborn, and Zagreus thinks his father died of disease (his mom didn’t have to heart to tell him anything bad about his dad). Needless to say, they’re gonna be in for quite the shock soon.

Cue Hades losing his shit and calling on Thanatos, Megaera, and Achilles to go find his progeny and bring him home; he gives them special permission to leave the Underworld without any resistance, trusting Than to lead the way back to Zagreus. Achilles is less than thrilled to be performing such a morally grey task for his master, but Meg and Than are eager to prove themselves, so he begrudgingly agrees to help, even if it hurts his conscience to do so.

Persephone and Demeter also freak the hell out on their end, scared shitless by the fact that Death incarnate has just met their son/grandson, and they’re worried that he plans on coming back again soon. Demeter suggests sending Zagreus to live with the Olympians until this all blows over, but Persephone disagrees, wanting her son to stay nearby in case he grows ill (it’s implied that she’s a bit overprotective of him, mostly because she’s afraid of him dying again; this also means she refuses to let him know that he’s in any danger, believing it would only make things worse for him in the long-run). Frustrated but understanding her daughter’s pain all too well, Demeter at least convinces her to call on the Olympians for aid, which Persephone agrees to do.

The gods promise to help of course, but... well, they're low-key lying; they wanna see how this plays out first.

After several days of traveling through hell (literally), the “let’s kidnap Zagreus” gang makes it to the surface, and they immediately head to Persephone’s garden. All this time, Zagreus has no idea that he’s being targeted, so he goes about his chores as usual, only to run into Than again, and hey, he brought some more friends for him to meet! Zagreus is friendly with all of them, being raised to be very polite by his guardians, and while he’s busy chatting with Than and Achilles, he doesn’t notice Meg sneaking behind him. Just as Zagreus is rattling on about how the animals have been faring this summer, Meg stabs Zagreus in the back with a blade coated in Hades’s blood, cursing him to belong to the Underworld again.

With Zagreus now unconscious from a sedative that was mixed with the blood, the trio hurry off with him back to the Underworld, but not without Persephone seeing what they’ve done to her son. Horrified, she begins to sob, and winter arrives in the mortal world without so much as a fall season in-between this and the summertime.

When Zagreus comes to, he finds himself in a bedroom similar to the one he has in the game, but it’s much cleaner and has less objects of personal value to him. Hades is standing at the foot of his bed when he wakes up, and very calmly, Hades tells Zagreus that he’s his father, and that from now on, Zagreus will be living in the Underworld with him and his people, where he so obviously belongs. It’s a shame his mother can’t be here, of course, but they just need to wait awhile, that’s all; surely she’ll come to her senses and return home soon, now that her husband and son are here.

Zagreus jumps out of bed and faces his father as soon as he’s done monologuing, ready to tell him off for what he’s done, but to his shock, Hades hugs him as soon as he’s on his feet, and admits that he’s waited for this day for a long, long time. He asks his son to please just accept that this is his home now, and despite still being a bit surprised (and subtly hugging Hades back because Longing), Zagreus tells him straight up that he can’t, that he has to get home, especially with winter coming in a few months!

Dejected but not overly surprised, Hades simply nods in acceptance, but he still warns Zagreus that it’s no use trying to fight it; he’s stuck here, now and forever, so he may as well get comfortable and try getting along with him, because no one’s going anywhere anytime soon. Zagreus is horrified, but he nods nonetheless, unsure of what to say or do just yet.

Later that night, as Zagreus is struggling to sleep in this new, unfamiliar place, Achilles comes to him and apologizes about what’s happened, and although he can’t magically fix everything for him, he tells Zagreus that it actually is supposedly possible to escape; it’s just that no one’s ever done it before. Driven by his desire for freedom and the thought of reuniting with his mother, Zagreus tells Achilles that he’s going to find a way out, no matter the cost. Achilles congratulates him on his tenacity, but warns him that it won’t be easy. Still, he’s willing to help Zagreus as much as he can.

From then on, I imagine the game playing out very differently from the original, with a rather frazzled and scared Zagreus trying to get home to his mom and grandma, but with none of his training from Achilles in this AU, he has to rely on something his mother taught him; his connection with earth and all it’s inhabitants. Or, in his case, his connection with the spirits of animals (a cross of his dad and mom’s powers). That’s right, I’m making The Hades Game into a fucking Pokemon-ripoff, but still with some rouge-like elements mixed in (mostly with Zagreus not keeping his animals after runs).

Having royally fucked up in not stepping in sooner to protect Zagreus, the gods end up helping him out by sending down animals associated with them for the young god to tame for a run (I’ll come up with them later). They usually offer a selection to choose from, and from there Zagreus can build up a team and use it to try and escape the Underworld.

To replace weapons, I like to think he’d have “signature” animals that can help him out for any of his runs, specifically ones from Achilles, Poseidon, Zeus, Demeter (once he reaches the surface at least once), and eventually even Hades gives him one if they bond together enough ((yes, it’s Cerberus... kinda; it’s a puppy version of him, otherwise he’d be OP as fuck)). Zagreus’s signature animals can all be given names, and they keep certain skills that they pick up through enough experience battling in the Underworld for Zagreus.

As for story-line stuff, Zagreus ends up in a very fish out of water situation as he tries to get to know everyone in Hades’s house (he’s still our kindhearted Zag, after all, and he knows most of them aren’t to blame, not even really Than!) while also focusing on his goal to get home to his mom. Hades ends up being a lot nicer to him in this AU, perhaps overly so, as he’s trying to make his son like him more in order to make up for lost time (and fill the hole in his heart that Zag’s initial death as an infant and Persephone leaving with him created). It’s part of the reason he’s even letting Zagreus try to escape; he wants him to learn that it won’t work on his own terms (and maybe also scare the kid so bad that he comes running to him for comfort afterwards).

Also, I should really note that Zagreus is 100% a sweet country farm boy in this AU, and he has no idea what the fuck is going on with pretty much anything in the Underworld, much to everyone’s astonishment. For example:

Meg: Gods, it must be weird getting used to everything down here, huh? Sick of stepping in bat shit yet? Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it, and Dusa’s pretty good about cleaning it up to begin with. Zagreus: I mean, I guess? It’s not that different from chicken shit tbh. Meg: What the fuck is a chicken???

After that... yeah, I dunno. I’ll try playing Hades some more, see if I think up anything else that could be interesting, but for now, I hope at least someone ends up liking this dumb AU (if not, I’ll still like it... might even try my hand at drawing for it a bit tbh). Again, please check out the person who’s post/art I linked earlier in the post, ‘cus their art is really awesome and inspired me to include Demeter more in this AU!

🎇 Let me set the stage for a quick sec!🎇

So, because this is a Among Us Au I think it would be unfair to not add some of the elements present in the game and my headcanons, just so it doesn't lose the original feeling but also adds a new gimmick to it.

I think it goes without saying that we aren't stuck in a spaceship floating around aimlessly in space as our station tries their best to get us back anymore. Your story passes in a classic medieval town, a capital city surrounded by large walls protecting the citizens from the outside world that is filled with all types of different creatures looking forward to destroying the entire city whenever they can.

You would be surprised how many of them do try to destroy everyone constantly, so that's why it's important for everyone to be inside and never ever let the gates open, even if accidentally. There is no room for errors considering the huge beasts that try to come here constantly!

But what if a betrayal happens inside the castle? What if someone with the authority to do so, allow a creature of demise inside the town's walls? Well, that's exactly what happened, Red, a "loyal" knight of the royal family has let in a powerful dragon infiltrate and use their magic to disguise themselves as humans.

Did he do it because of love for the scaly beast? Because of revenge towards the royal family and/or the entire human race? It could be both, honestly.

Red had managed to get both father and son inside your city and although they were fine for the time being (ya know, not wanting to destroy everything JUST yet-), they got enchanted with unexpected feelings towards you, and there are many, many ways this story can go.

I hope you don't mind being stalked by a traitor and a dragon, and a dragon child-

→👑Royal Reader🌷:

Basically: It's obvious how this would go, right? I mean- It's a pretty classic plot don't you think? The dragon and the prince/princess?

It's obvious that kidnapping you would be the way to go, considering they see reality as their own perfect fairy tale that they can erase everything they don't want to be part of the story. It's such a classic cliche plot, yet they believe to be very effective.

But maybe they can wait a little, since it wouldn't be wise to simply take you away right now, considering there are guards everywhere outside your room, and starting a war without a proper plan wouldn't be wise.

They may content themselves with the distant view they get of you for now, although they would prefer it if that horse you love so much wasn't always near you, thankfully he can't be inside the castle's walls, but since you spend a lot of time in the field riding him it does make their job a lot harder.

→🧙Wizard Reader✨:

Let's say you're an outcast. Not necessarily hated, just a bit different and usually left alone since you are a master at the fine arts of magic. You're eccentric by nature, and so people tend to leave you be and take care of your work alone.

The royal family calls for your guidance rarely, normally when they consider the situation to be involving concepts that are foreign to them, like spells and curses.

I imagine you would be called to be aware of the intruder inside the kingdom. No one knows what it is exactly and who it is, who they could be disguising as- So the king asked you to investigate the case closely and hopefully be able to deal with whatever creature may be hidden amongst the castle's staff members.

They at first considered you to be somewhat of a burden, they did consider killing you multiple times especially whenever you almost caught them being suspicious.

That damned familiar of yours keeps trying to show you the clues they left, and they can't stand the idea of having to break up because of some "know-it-all Wizard"!

But… They can't lie that you are pretty attractive, being all smart and all. Before they can actually go in for the kill, they start to get really attracted to your wisdom and oddities.

When you discover what type of creature has entered the kingdom, you would immediately warn the king to not only be alert but to prepare his soldiers to war, considering that a shapeshifting dragon would be no easy task to handle- But it would be a shame if you didn't make it to the king in time, wouldn't it?

→🧙Royal Wizard Reader👑:

In a kingdom filled with wizards and spellcasters, you can imagine that it would be much harder to take them down than a normal human kingdom where most people are commoners living their daily lives trying to not worry about the monsters trying to destroy them.

Being the child of a powerful lineage of wizards should have prepared you for the probability of an infiltration happening at any time, bit- Come on, who wants to be scared everyday that someone will try to betray your kingdom in the first place?

You have been trained and properly taught all your life about spells and magic, and the dangers of the outside to such a strict manner that made you crave some sort of freedom. All of these rules and lessons day by day doesn't make you feel more powerful, it makes you feel weak! It makes you feel unhappy considering the state that the world outside the kingdom's walls is in.

Is absolutely terrifying, yet you would rather joke about it and live a carefree lifestyle than let that fear overcome you- And besides!! Maybe not all monsters are like that, right?! They can't be!

You can't believe that all monsters are creatures of pure evil and nothing more, you couldn't help but doubt the teachings of your tutors ever since you were young, to the point you feel curious enough to try and get to know a monster personally.

Your wish for understanding the creatures outside the kingdom is an admirable thing, yet that naive curiosity will only bring you bad things.

not me thinking I reblogged an ask meme at 6 am and forgot about it, this honestly surprised me.

So going off what I remember I've written for at least 4? No wait, 5? It might be so high as 8 if we include the things I've daydreamed about that are technically really old fic ideas from my middle school years.

Ninjago: Love that after almost a decade Ninjago has released the death grip it has on me, it's kinda nice tbh.

Tidal Wave (an alternate universe of my next gen fic Storm Front): I don't even truly have a concrete plot for this yet but like Storm Front it's Gigi centric, deals with the concept of family, and has some fic on the back burner while I restructure the plot of Storm Front. No real details I want to explicitly say but you wanna see some AI generated art I got for the concept last night? Might have some clues. You get some AI generated art. I am so sorry if this is massive I don't know how to resize it 😬

Unnamed Royal Guard AU: Mmmm can't provide fic rn bc that's on the other computer BUT can I just say how delightful this concept is? After the murder of the king and his wife, the future of Ninjago has seemed uncertain. Regents manage the kingdom well enough. Kai, a young guard with great potential, is selected to join a specialized unit. Their task is highly confidential: they're to provide around the clock supervision of a prisoner that has connections to the tragic murders. Everything is not as it seems, and the guards will be forced to decide what matters more to them. Do they follow their orders? Do they follow their morals? Do they dare to risk it all?

Monkie Kid: Hello freshest focused fandom my beloved. I've got so many ideas and if I could just control the writing process I would have more proof of these.

Swiss Cheese Memory bad ending (the title makes more sense with context just trust me): I don't have details yet but have some fic I wrote for it, just a tiny taste. I like this one because it's going to let me experiment with writing style a bit.

The apartment is small, but MK never thinks much about it. It’s more of a formality to have the apartment. Days are delightfully predictable for him. He wakes up, he goes to work, he comes home and he paints for a few hours before going to bed. On his days off he takes his paintings with him to a small market, he works hard to sell them for a bit of extra money, not that he needs it. MK doesn’t handle financial decisions at all actually. His apartment’s rent comes directly from the paycheck he never sees and just like clockwork fresh groceries appear in his apartment. MK keeps a list of what is needed hanging on the fridge. He never worries.

MK likes the apartment. It’s small which means it’s easy to keep clean. Everything has a place. His art supplies make up most of his possessions and add the most vivid colors among the shades of greys and charcoals and deep cerulean. His clothes hang neatly in the small closet. His shoes sit neatly the door.

Have the smallest snipped from an idea that hit the other night after thinking abt a tangled retelling (this is not part of the tangled retelling I feel like I should specify this is more of yet another bad ending idea):

It's funny, he thinks, how quickly he could forget the way things used to be. A few good years can undo all the tricks that got him through the worst nights. Hunger used to be as familiar as the promise of sunshine after a rainy day.

It was hard to reacquaint himself with the feeling, but after two days he was starting to remember the way it came in waves. It was easy to forget until the reminder was staring him in the face. MK pressed his hands against his thighs as hard as he could. If he ate, he'd be right back where he started. He'd been hungry before, he could stomach a few more days without.

I HAVE AN IDEA OF AN UNDERTALE FIC SO STAY WITH ME;

so it’s basically human!cast and i wanted to play around with everyone so here we gooo

they retain the forms of humans going out and doing day to day activities since prejudice against monsters is still so relevant. the way they do so is through glamour technology created by dr. gaster & alphys.

sans & papyrus serif

- although there isn’t a set ethnicity for any of the monsters, i do imagine them being poc. personally, both brothers for me are tan / brown skinned with light eyes and white hair. sans is about 5’2 whilst papyrus is about 6’1, 6’3 with his boots on.

- sans is a senior in high school whilst papyrus is a freshman. the two are both top students but sans tends to ditch class because he can’t be bother to go. the only class he willingly goes to is his father’s, mr. gaster’s AP physics.

- since he got to the surface, sans does weed every so often when he gets stressed out. papyrus knows this and tries to stop him but he still does it behind it back since it helps him relax.

- papyrus is apart of the culinary arts club at the highschool despite his failures of spaghetti. he still is determined to learn and has the extensive knowledge of pasta varieties. he also enjoys going to DND sessions in the RPG club.

- although sans was forced into robotics by his father, he genuinely enjoys being in jazz band! he plays the trombone and tried to pick up the tuba but it was too big for him.

undyne ryba

- ryba is the czech word for fish! quite fitting considering undyne is a...y’know fish :-)

- undyne still has her red hair ofc! her eyes are now blue but protrude out like a fish. she’s quite pale in appearance but is quite freckly all over. there are also dry patches of skin where her scales use to be! she stands around 5’9

- undyne is a junior but is the captain of the girl’s softball team. she’s their top player because of all her training from the royal guard and seems to play at every game. she has definitely fought someone after a game when her coach wasn’t there.

- the concept of having heterosexuality being the norm doesn’t really exist in the underground ( because love is love and monsters know that ) so she was confused when people had to ask if she was into girls because she thought everyone just liked who they liked.

alphys lagarto

- in brazilian portuguese, lagarto translates to lizard. again, because you know...alphys is like a lizard :,)

- alphys is quite short and stocky in appearance, being tan skinned as wel. she has long curly blonde hair but it’s always seen tied up into a bun or messily put together with a headband. i do imagine her having buck teeth though, personally i find it fits with the ‘geeky’ kinda look she has. she probably only wears sweaters and jeans, plus a TON of anime shirts in the girliest color. she’s about 5’3-5’4

- she’s a junior & one of the top students in her grade! she’s sorta known as a teacher’s pet since alphys seems to suck up to all her teachers by being a pushover. she’s in AP science with sans and always clings on to him.

- she’s a member of the anime club and an avid on goer of the robotic club, although she doesn’t talk in either and prefers just to watch from a corner. whenever the topic of magical girl series comes up, she will RANT about toyko mew mew until someone brings up something new. she’s also really into musicals but specifically hamilton, be more chill, and dear evan hansen.

mettaton and blooky revenant

- napstablook shortened his ‘human’ name to np, requested solely by mettaton. personally, he thinks it has a nice ring to it and he could use it for his new tracks. he still prefers if people call him blook or blooky.

- the word revenant can be described as, ‘anyone who comes back after being gone for a long while’.

- mettaton is tall and thin in appearance, looking quite androgynous in looks. personally i see him having a fluffy mullet. he’s pale in appearance but his dark eyes and hair stand out from the rest of his look. he’s in theatre and fashion club and is quite popular for not only being a great performer but his growing social media platforms where he does makeup tutorials and outfits of the day.

- blooky is only average height and dresses kinda like a skater boy. like mettaton, he’s very pale but differs with his platinum blonde hair and pale blue eyes. he’s popular on soundcloud for making lo-fi hip-hop beats and often accompanies mettaton during rehearsals, sitting in the back whilst he’s programming. he also skates in his free-time.

frisk, chara, and asriel dreemur

- as for frisk, chara, and asriel...i imagine that chara and asriel are older than their sibling by a year. frisk has just started middle middle school and the two are basically frisk’s body guards.

- although chara often has tendencies to be off0putting to other students, their adopted mother, toriel does work at the school as a monster history teacher. when they get detention, it’s always in her class.

- asriel is a nerdy kid and is part of the drawing club! most of his notebooks are filled with his oc, the god of hyperdeath.

- whilst frisk strictly goes by them/them pronouns, chara goes they/she but both of them are afab non-binary in my AU. although frisk is younger than their siblings, they are quite popular with their older classmen and seem to have friends in the dandiest of places.

This is such a fun ask omg, I’m sorry it took me so long to reply… The reply itself is also quite long because apparently I can’t stop talking once I’m being asked this type of stuff.

Who inspired you?

Back when I was a kid, my main inspiration were cartoons and comics that I watched and read. I used to have a lot of VHS (*old person voice* remember those) that didn’t even work properly anymore because I rewatched them 3-4 times in a row sometimes, and it ruined the tapes.

I don’t think I had one particular person around that inspired me, mostly because I didn’t know the names of the artists whose stuff I liked. But I remember that I started drawings comics because my cousin was doing it (I was ~6-7? I don’t remember). He lost his interest very quickly though, but I kept drawing them by myself.

Oh oh! I also remember enjoying thick books of political caricatures by Jean Effel and Herluf Bidstrup. Didn’t understand a thing, but they sure were funny lol

And when I was 13 I discovered manga, and the rest is history.

How did you start?

Well, I don’t remember lol I think my mom told me something about trying to keep me busy while she was working. And then the cartoons, the comics, the manga, and then, as I started to sliiiiightly lose interest, Katsu became a huge part of my life, so I kind of never stopped drawing.

What was your first drawing?

I have no idea lol it was sooo long ago

How did you start drawing SNK?

Like I said a couple of times, we watched SnK in 2013, and I wanted to draw a fanart of it, it was just an obvious thing to do. We didn’t post much back then, but I always want to sketch at least one little sketch after we watch/play/read something that we like, just as a memory piece. And SnK wasn’t an exception – the characters were just too darn memorable and fun not to draw them.

What do you want your artwork to say?

For the most part it’s “I HAVE SO MUCH FUN DRAWING THIS CHARACTER OH GOD” lol, the majority of my artworks (if not all of them) are simply love-letters towards our favourite shows, characters and ships.

But I also think that a lot of drawings say “hey what IF”, and those are my favourite ones to draw. It’s obvious that we have a lot of fun with AUs, concepts and other stuff, and it’s especially cool when we manage to put some ideas and concepts out there.

Oh yeah right sometimes it’s just “isn’t it funny? LAUGH AT IT”

Who’s your favorite Anime character? Tell me why?

I have tons of favourite Anime characters… as for now, I think it’s a tie between Levi and Killua Zoldyck? I love it when characters are loyal to someone but aren’t afraid to call them out, to grumble, to critique their actions, but ultimately still side with the said someone because they’re very dear to them. It’s a very broad way to describe Killua and Levi’s relationships with their special people, I know lol but it’s also about someone being very powerful, but also quite sensitive when you look at them closely. Also both of them are super funny and I love their designs.

Describe what kind of person you are.

Katsu called me Connie Smith the other day, I still think there is no better way to describe me.

What is a advice do you want to give to other artist?

Don’t forget that art should be fun, first and foremost. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new stuff. Even if it’s difficult at first, it’ll get easy and exciting once you figure it out, and you’ll definitely figure it out eventually if you keep trying. Don’t torture yourself, but don’t be afraid of trying new things: these make the drawing process more interesting,

He smiled sadly before getting out of the carriage. He helped you out and walked over to the palace. “Theo Hampton to see the Emperor. I have news for him.”

The guard bowed. “Yes, sir.”

Theo kept his arm around you before smiling at Levi. “Your majesty.”

Levi stormed down the steps. “Tch, what are you doing with her!?”

Theo squeezed you. “We’re here to tell you that she no longer wishes to be your mistress.”

Levi went white. “What?” He called your name and moved closer. “What’s going on?”

You handed Tutus over to him. “We cannot be together.” You touched your neck and glanced at Tutus. “Please understand.”

Levi played with Tutus’ collar and found the note. “You don’t have to do this.”

You backed up. “I do, I really do. I hope, in time, we can look back at this and just smile. I need to be with Theo.”

Levi was piecing together what you were hinting at. “I’ll always love you.”

You gulped and smiled at him. “You mean more to me than you know. Thank you.” You turned and walked down the stairs. “We should get going now.”

Theo bowed to Levi. “I’ll take care of her and the baby.”

Levi watched you get in the carriage. He stayed there as the carriage moved away and out of view. He looked down at the note and read it. “Theo and Abril are Du Monts. He threatened to poison you. I had to go with him. Theo might have the law. I love you.”

Erwin joined his friend on the steps. “What happened?”

Levi handed the note over. “Theo and Abril have been Du Monts all this time. Theo threatened to poison me, so my bunny had no choice but to go with him. I’ll get her back, I swear.”

Erwin looked out at the road. “You have all of us behind you.”

“She thinks Theo might have the law.”

“She going to look for it?”

“Probably.” Levi sighed. “I’ll go to Abril’s place and play the role of an interested man. I’ll investigate there. We need to find that law.”

Erwin placed his hand on his friend’s back. “We’ll find it. Now we know who the enemy is. Let’s also talk to anyone we know is linked to Theo.”

Levi looked at Erwin. “Talk as in?”

“Break bones, yes.”

Levi smiled a little as a dark look filled his eyes. “Good.”
