Why did you start shipping Bunny? What made you realize their characters had a certain dynamic you enjoyed?
Alright, story time.
My best friend is the one who introduced me to South Park and they started out by showing me select episodes from season 4 and forward, and around the time we were at like season 10ish they informed me what like popular ships exist in the fandom. Namely Creek, Style (I had already seen Tweek x Craig, it was actually the first SP episode I ever watched lmao, and I could kinda see why Style was a thing because they're best friends with lots of moments that CAN be read as romantic), and Kyman (I could also see why it was popular lmao) but when they mentioned Bunny it surprised me. Like these two characters barely/never interact on screen, but my friend just said "Trust, you'll see why later in the show." Instead of waiting to see why later in the show, the idea infested my brain and it clicked anyway.
At first it was just vibes, they seemed sweet and compatible. Let's over-articulate the "vibes" a little further; Keep in mind these are all conclusions I was able to draw about these characters pre season 14 (Pre "Coon & Friends", pre "The Poor Kid" and pre "Going Native".)
These two come from opposite ends of the family trauma spectrum; With Kenny it's neglect, with Butters it's an overly controlled/sheltered environment.
Butters is a yapper, Kenny is a patient listener.
Butters gets cut off/belittled very often for his yapping whereas Kenny isn't one to judge or dismiss.
But Butters isn't the kind of yapper who just likes to hear himself talk; he engages a LOT with whatever someone tells him, and always takes his conversation partner seriously. Kenny is rarely asked for his input, he's rarely ever even referred to directly in a room full of people, but rather just a spectator.
Based on this, I could see Butters rambling to him directly and give importance to Kenny's input and opinions, something we rarely see with anyone else. Funny that this was even confirmed to be true in season 16's "Going Native"
(idk these are just instances that kind of prove to me how Butters values & respects Kenny and his side of things, by either outright saying so or just referring to him in conversation and asking for his input that I rarely see anyone else do. This even gets driven super far in the vaccination special where Kenny is just completely and utterly patronized by his best friends & treated like their child)
So all of these things, without ever even having them seen interact, just made it make sense that these two characters were very compatible in a healthy and sweet way. They both have heavy trauma, but the ways that they cope/express themselves likely wouldn't be triggering for the other. Rather they'd kind of be good for each other to heal; Butters is the least apathetic character in the show, so he wouldn't ever make Kenny feel ignored or neglected. Kenny has seen & lived through enough shit, making him incredibly unprejudiced, he'd never even think to make fun of any of Butters' quirks he's been punished and belittled for.
As I got to the Coon & Friends trilogy and "The Poor Kid" and the whole Kenny lore bomb, something about the two of them being the most tragic characters in the show just kinda fucked my head even worse.
Picking that apart; it was kind of this underlying fact that Butters would believe Kenny about his deaths BECAUSE he's so naïve and gullible. Again, Butters would take Kenny seriously and value his input and emotions, he'd be the ideal person for Kenny to finally relieve some of the burden he's forced to carry alone. Matt and Trey are cowards for not making an episode about this like c'mon seriously it doesn't even need to be romantic
I'm not gonna get further into "Going Native" right now, mostly because the episode speaks for itself, has been probably talked about most in the fandom and kind of confirmed a lot of the things I already assumed about these characters (but if you'd like me to pick it apart feel free to send another ask), so instead I'm gonna tell you why I started going insane over them on a fandom level. Funnily enough, it was the Style-centric fic "The Scenic Route" by Hollycomb.
The coolest thing is Hollycomb actually published The Scenic Route BEFORE "Going Native" aired, and the way that they handled these characters and their relationship still fucking blows my mind. Dude, they're not even the focus of the story. They're a side story. A background ship. I'm not saying the main storyline isn't entertaining lmao but the Bunny background storyline was probably just so much more my taste I think? Especially how imperfect and messed up it started out, continued and went on. It implemented the canon fact that Kenny did kind of just not care about Butters and how his fucked up parents treat him, just like the rest of the town. Like Kenny is kind and all, but he can also be very apathetic and indifferent, and there's lots of instances in canon where the other boys treat Butters like crap and Kenny just watches it happen.
(Episodes: "Good Times With Weapons", "Marjorine", "Cartman Sucks", "Butters' Bottom Bitch" and "The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs")
(mind you, they're also just 9 year olds though lmao)
The way Hollycomb wrote how Kenny slowly started caring and falling in love with Butters even though he initially just intended to use him for venting about his own problems just stuck with me so hard. Like yes. That makes so much fucking sense. Kenny needs someone to take him seriously, and he doesn't need that person to be someone he cares about. He picks the easiest person available. But the slow realization that he's started pitying, then caring, and then deeply loving and wanting to help and save this person? That shit hit the SPOT.
Anyways, what I'm saying is that this fanfic was the reason I started thinking about possible ways they could get together and stay together, a lot of them messy and tragic and every bit wholesome as it is entertaining and fucked up. Kenny and Butters' traumatized asses finding comfort in each other is just something that became so special to me. I started out reading & writing Style, but whenever I tried to craft my own fics I'd always be thinking so much about what Kenny & Butters were doing and what their story is until I thought "damn dude why aren't you just writing about them instead". and thus I fell down the rabbit hole. enter chaos plan lol
This is such a tiny part of why I love these characters and why both of them separate AND their dynamic is incredibly comforting and interesting to me, and I haven't even mentioned anything about the many foil/parallel narratives around these two; Kenny & Butters as Kenny's replacement. Mysterion & Chaos. Princess Kenny & Paladin Butters. Philanthropist Dr. McCormick & capitalist scammer Vic Chaos. Especially the last one what the fuck I could write my bachelor thesis on Post Covid Bunny.
Thank you so much for the ask, anon. I'm so happy I got to ramble about my favorite little assholes <3333

hitting your writing goals
I've been getting a lot of asks lately about how I write, so I wanted to put it all in one post.
this was my writing history for Five Gifts for the Blacksmith's Wife.
it helps IMMENSELY when I go into a book with a Tumblr short to use as my outline. it gives me a sense of the mood, the characters, the central conflict, everything I need.
I rarely use outlines because most of the time, I have that base to work with. the other thing I do is WRITE A BLURB. write out what it would sound like if you were pitching someone your book.
here's the blurb for Five Gifts:
When her village faces a winter of starvation, Sita draws the shortest straw. Now she’s to be given to the orcs across the river in exchange for food and supplies so her family can survive. Given the chance to choose her own husband from among the eligible orc bachelors, she selects Gurrek, the reluctant blacksmith, who clearly doesn’t want her. He’s the safest option. Gurrek has always wanted a wife of his own, but not like this. Now he’s saddled with a human woman who needs new shoes, new clothes, and can’t even speak his language. He wants nothing to do with her, and yet her sweet, strong personality draws him in closer with every passing day. As Sita and Gurrek try to find a place to fit within each other’s lives, attraction begins to bloom between them. But Gurrek refuses to touch a woman who never wanted to be his in the first place. Can Sita break through the blacksmith’s high walls to become his true wife, mind, body, and soul?
boom! you know where it starts, what the central conflict is, and the question leading into the second half of the book. then I usually have a separate doc called "third act" where I work out what the climax and resolution will look like. this is sometimes when I'll write another little short to capture the tone and vibe of the climax.
okay so the writing part.
you can't wait for your muse to come to you. the more you wait, the less she visits. you have to go out there and chase that bitch down.
I show up almost every day to write. (I do take off days, usually to do admin or make videos.) I just eke out what words I can, even if it sucks ass. eventually, if you really just muscle it, let yourself get EXCITED about the characters and the story you want to tell, the words will start coming. but you can't do it if you don't show up.
I've also trained my brain in some very specific ways. making coffee is my "start" button. when I make coffee and sit down at the desk, I've trained my brain to say "okay writing time." I always make the coffee, then open the doc and write. no exceptions. it took a while to build the habit but now it's like pavlovian. sit down with coffee, write book. I've also adapted this to having a bubbly water or tea at night.
rolling the ball downhill
the goal is to get the ball rolling so the book starts writing itself. you know that feeling, the ZONE, where you know what's going to happen and it just streams out of you.
I use something I call the but-therefore method. stg learned it from a video by the South Park guys.
if you're reading your outline aloud to yourself and you say, "and then this happens," I often find myself running into that and being like "but what?"
every step in the outline should be a but or a therefore. the blacksmith wants a wife, but not this one (a human wife). therefore, he's mean to her because he wanted an orc wife. but, he finds himself growing fond of her because she tries so hard. therefore, he wants to court her. etc etc
this gets me out of all KINDS of pickles. when I run into a roadblock I just try to think of 1) what could get in the way of where they're headed or what they want, 2) what consequences it could have. good time to think about what your character's buttons are and what would push them.
setting goals
goals really help me push through when it's hard. I know it CAN be easy so it's like, how do I find the stream that I can get swept off in? you gotta hunt and hunt around for it sometimes and there are days when I never get into the zone.
I set a range for my daily goal, like 2500-5000. if I do 2500, that's fine, I can set it aside for the day. if I do 5000, keep pushing if I want but that's a good place to stop. I find that by 2000 words is when I know whether it's going to be a good writing day or a bad writing day. bad writing day, i can stop at 2500 and be happy. good writing day (especially toward the end of a book when the dominoes are falling over) I can get up to 8k, but I try not to do that anymore because it turns my brain to mush.
ok that's all for now I hope this was helpful :)

MORE GARGYOLES AU BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I'm holding watch parties on my community discord for the Gargoyles; we're still on Season 1 but even then it's really helping give me some contextual clues I need for building the AU into something more sustainable. I'm super excited to get into Season 2; we'll be finishing off this season next Thursday before we continue on! :)
But ye! For this drawing; an experiment that went a little outta hand, but I'm glad it did. I really like the look of it; giving it some level of polish without resorting to coloring. I've always liked this sort of effect but rarely do I ever do it myself, but I think I'll have to do it more because it was far less time consuming to do! :>
So ye! More lore and brick work is being laid out for the AU, and once again I've written a short story to go along with the art!
For those of you who'd rather skip though, I placed it under the "Keep Reading" line, and for context for everyone here are some AU notes along with a TL;DR summary of what's happening here:
-AU explores the concept of "what if Demona was set onto the path of Redemption?"
-TL;DR for this image: Takes place a few nights after this. Demona confronts Elisa after her talk with Angela. To everyone's surprise it doesn't go south.
----------------
By all accounts Elisa thinks she should've expected this.
Especially with the life she's chosen for herself: top-rate detective with the highest arrest rate and cases solved on the force. In direct contact with Gargoyles-- literal living legends-- on a daily basis and what that typically entails, from revenge plots to sudden trips through the very fabrics of time. Enemies from all and every side, from supernatural to plain old human to the not-so-human and zealous occult.
And traveling Central Park alone in the dead of night? By all accounts, she should’ve expected this. Yet she still wasn’t prepared for the ambush.
One second she's halfway through the tunnel under the bridge. The next? Shoved face-first into grimy, soggy stone.
The taste of iron is sharp on her tongue as her teeth cut painfully into her lip on impact. It distracts her just enough before she finally zeroes in on the claws closed tight around the nape of her neck, another set digging hard into the leather of her jacket at her pinned wrists, easily piercing the material and biting into skin. She barely has time to gather her bearings before a familiar voice is hissing hot against her ear.
"You are not as clever as you think, detective."
Elisa's heart nearly beats out of her ribcage. "Demona," she breathes, alarmed but by no means surprised. It's been months since the last attempt the she-demon's made against her. Once again, Elisa curses allowing her guard to fall; she should've known it was only a matter of time before Demona struck. No matter how long this sudden bout of tremulous peace has gone.
"What do you want."
"That's exactly what I want to know," Demona drawls, pushing Elisa further into the rough stone. There's a seething sneer in her voice. " What are your intentions with Angela?"
Elisa pauses, her unease giving way to her confusion.
"What?"
Demona responds by gripping tighter, the tell-tale rumble of a growl behind her words. "You know damned well what I mean. It's no coincidence Angela has come to me so freely. Not if it meant lowering my guard; you're up to something." The gargoyle shoves Elisa none-too-gently against the stone again, her threat stark and clear. "And I don't take kindly to the thought anyone using my daughter like she's some sort of plaything--"
"--I'd never--" Elisa starts, offended, but she barely gets a word in before she's cut off with her own agonized grunt. Demona's bodily grinding her into the wall, the rough scrape of stone chafing at the skin of her cheek. She can barely breath with how hard the gargoyle pins her, straining for breath as Demona snarls at her, long teeth clacking dangerously close to her eye.
"Liar!" She barks, and Elisa hears how her tail cuts through the air as it lashes. "It's all you humans are ever good for! Weave empty words into pretty things, only to strike when your back is turned. Angela told me herself what you said, and your words ring hollow. You and I both know you don't believe any of it. What's your game?"
"So Goliath is right, then?" Elisa huffs in lieu of an answer, stilling herself and going mostly limp in Demona's grasp. Her common sense screams at her to struggle, to find an opening and break free... but her gut tells her stay put. Her father always told her to listen to her gut when it spoke, and it's never steered her wrong before. So she breathes in as much as she dares and forces each of her muscles to relax, to appear as little a threat as possible in her position.
Not too hard to do considering the circumstances, but it takes several breaths for her heart to stop trying to burst from her chest. Nor does it really erase the glower overtaking her face.
"Is that it? Angela shouldn't be anywhere near you. Shouldn't be allowed to choose for herself and that it was a mistake to even try to talk to you?"
"By the moon we glide under, I despise you, detective!" Demona hisses, and Elisa doesn't need to see her to know her eyes have begun glowing hot red. "I'm no fool; you view me a monster. You have absolutely nothing to gain from encouraging her to see me. Nothing. So why? What do you want with her?"
"Is it really so hard to believe I care for Angela?"
"Yes." Yet there is some degree of hesitance in Demona's voice when she says it, something Elisa nearly doesn't catch. As if the she-demon almost believes her own answer, but not entirely. There's enough evidence with Elisa aiding her old Clan-- never truly for her own gain -- that brings question to her conviction. "Humans don't do anything unless they gain something in return. You are either after her, my life, or something else." Demona allows Elisa's arm free to rake her claws against the stone of the bridge. It gives way easily as if nothing but dirt, leaving deep divots in a clear display of a threat. "Do not make me ask again."
"Then you're right," Elisa replies easily-- or as easily as her position allows-- and of all the responses she could've gotten Demona doesn't expect that. It's clear in how much she loosens her hold on Elisa in apparent surprise, no longer choking her so much as simply holding her in place now. Elisa's instincts flair then; demand she elbows the she-demon in the belly and get distance, yet even still her gut urges her: stay put.
"I do have something to gain. Angela's happiness."
Elisa doesn’t expect her words to have any real effect. Readies herself for Demona to snap at her again. Force her against the unforgiving stone, have her taste her own blood again, maybe even work up the nerve to inflict the bodily harm she always threatens. This is probably the closest she's gotten in a long while.
But Demona does… nothing. Simply a presence behind her. One simmering with barely held anger and confusion and the weight of her own paranoia. But still as stone—listening-- all the same.
Stay put.
Elisa takes in a shaky breath.
"She's miserable, you know. When the clan speaks ill of you," She breathes quietly, surprising herself with the gentleness in her own voice. "Goliath explicitly forbids her from ever trying to talk to you. He thinks you're a lost cause." It’s not hard to think of Goliath’s demeanor in those moments; regret, sadness, guilt, traces of betrayal and anger whenever he speaks of his ex. He's long since given up on reaching out to Demona.
"And maybe I did too, once. But now, I--"
The look on Demona's face when realizing who Angela was flashes through her memory. The shock, quickly replaced with unbridled joy and hope. Something Elisa was unsure Demona could feel up until that very moment.
"--you could've left us to die by Thailog's hand. You could've ended all of humanity with just a press of a button. But you didn't."
Elisa doesn't mention the sudden lack of schemes against all of mankind. She doesn't mention the abrupt disinterest in attacking the Clan. She doesn't say anything about how--even after all this time, even now-- she is still alive, when Demona has had ample chances to rid herself of her. Elisa is no slouch: she's proud enough to admit she's held her own against Demona a fair number of times. But there were times where only her keen eye and years of training caught the very slight hesitance from Demona when she was all but helpless.
"I don't think you're a lost cause," Elisa says unwaveringly. Nothing in her voice gives way to any underlying uncertainty she has. To the questions she burns to ask—why? What changed? -- but won’t. Not yet. "I have my reservations. But I don't think it's anyone's place to make that decision for Angela. Nor do I think it's fair to rob you of the chance to prove to her you're more than your past."
Elisa hesitates for just a second before she says clearly into the silence of the night, compelled by Demona's uncharacteristic show of restraint: "...I-I don’t think you’re a monster."
I never thought you to be.
The thought comes unbidden, and it catches her off guard at how honest it is. She doesn’t put it to words, only remaining in place and holding steady. Waiting.
Demona still doesn't say anything. Doesn't really do anything at first, but there's a very clear shift in the air, subtle as it may be. Elisa's instincts are no longer in overdrive, no longer in high alert of danger. Somehow --even in Demona's sharp grasp-- there is no more danger to be aware of.
It's in the way the gargoyle's silence turns contemplative and not a raging storm cloud. In how she suddenly doesn't dig so hard in Elisa's jacket, tucking the tips of her claws safely against the leather and not into delicate skin. The intent is no longer there.
Demona mutters something to herself, low enough for Elisa not to hear what she says, but even with her keen senses it still manages to surprise the detective when the gargoyle simply... moves away.
It's by no means gentle. She abruptly drops the human without any sort of care, allowing her to crumple under her own weight when she finally touches ground after several minutes being held aloft. But the principle still stands.
Demona let her go.
"…I don't believe you," She grunts in a voice filled with scorn, but the usual bite is missing. Elisa allows herself a moment to rub at the scratches and welts those wicked claws left behind. She clears her throat before she chances a glance at the gargoyle and finds her back turned to her.
"I'm not asking you to," Elisa says softly. She eyes the gargoyle warily. "And I still don't trust you. But I do trust Angela. She saw something worth her time in you; the least I can do is support her... and be there if it blows up in her face."
When Elisa finds the energy to stand, she musters up a warning glare at Demona, stance cautious but no less filled with promise. "Don't make me regret it."
The threat behind it is barely veiled, and it must be the right thing to say, because Demona only barely casts a glance her way. Her eyes are hard to read. And despite it, Elisa can see the smallest hint of something in them when forest green sweeps over her, foot to face, the faintest upturn to the corner of her mouth.
"Then we are on the same page."
--------------------------
-------------
For some extra context:
-Demona is referring to how Elisa told Angela that she does actually believe Demona isn't pure evil, or a threat to her. Elisa doesn't trust Demona at all, but she recognizes that something has shifted in the gargoyle, and she knows she would never hurt Angela, so she sets aside her own doubts and encourages Angela to seek her mother out. I have plans to draw and write this interaction in the future so we have more context in this regard!
-Elisa strikes me as the type to be able to see things in varying shades of gray: Goliath isn't wrong in his reluctance to allow Angela near Demona, but she honestly doesn't think her heartless or a completely lost cause. Especially after she learns some of Demona's past
-Demona would never admit this, but she does actually respect Elisa. Much to her chagrin. Unlike most humans whom she barely bats an eye toward, she sees Elisa as her equal in prowess and intelligence, and she hates that she does, but she'd be a fool if she ignored it.
The further I get into the show I'll expand on this idea, but that's it for now. :)

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You sit before your white vanity, the gleaming surface cluttered with an array of luxurious cosmetics and elegant hairbrushes. Your mascara has betrayed you, running down your cheeks in black rivulets, leaving a trail of the evening's turmoil etched on your face. With each stroke of the brush through your glossy hair, you try to find some semblance of calm, but your reflection only deepens your despair. There, in the mirror, you catch sight of the poster of Kim Seokjin, his perfect smile seeming to mock your misery. The world around you is crumbling, the facade of your protected life shattering into pieces.
As the princess of the second-largest mafia gang in South Korea, the Parks, you had always known there were dark corners to your existence. Your father's empire thrived on fear, extortion, and ruthless enforcement. Yet, you were kept far removed from the brutal realities of mafia life. You were the cherished daughter, homeschooled and surrounded by bodyguards, living in a gilded cage. The mansion was your kingdom, yet it was also your prison. Every need was catered to, every luxury at your fingertips, but freedom was a concept you only read about in books. You never questioned why you were kept so isolated, so protected from the outside world. That is, until tonight.
Tonight, everything became clear. You had been groomed, shaped, and prepared for a singular purpose: to be a bargaining chip in your father’s strategic game. The realisation hit you like a tidal wave, drowning you in despair. You were to be sold off in marriage when the time was right, when an alliance was needed. And that time had come.
For years, you had harboured a secret love for Kim Seokjin, the idol whose debut had ignited a spark in your heart. You were captivated by his broad shoulders, his soft dark hair, his piercing eyes, and those beautiful lips that seemed to promise the world. His voice was your solace, his personality a light in your dark world. You had never been able to attend fan events, concerts, or meet-and-greets because of your sheltered life. Instead, you collected his merchandise in secret, hiding it in your lavish room that resembled more a suite than a single bedroom. The only visible sign of your affection was the poster hanging behind you, a silent testament to your hidden love. Your father and the staff remained oblivious to your infatuation with a man who symbolised everything you longed for but could never have.
Tonight, the weight of your reality feels heavier than ever, as you prepare for a dinner with the Chois, a minor gang with valuable port access your father needed. They were repulsive in both appearance and character, but your father didn't care. He was ready to sell you off to their son for the alliance, ignoring your feelings entirely. The tears flow again as you look at Seokjin's smiling face in the mirror, your heart breaking under the weight of your shattered dreams.
-
Days and weeks blur together as the wedding draws inexorably closer. Your days are consumed with endless preparations, though you have little say in any of the decisions. You feel like a marionette, pushed and pulled from one place to another, forced to wear a mask of happiness and pride as the daughter of the Park family. Lavish bridal boutiques become routine stops, where you are fitted into exquisite gowns adorned with pearls and lace, the finest fabrics brushing against your skin. Opulent banquet halls are booked, florists arrange towering bouquets of rare flowers, and chefs create intricate menus for the grand celebration. Yet, despite the splendour, you feel detached, merely playing a role in this grand spectacle.
The only refuge you have is the music of Seokjin, which has always been and always will be your sanctuary. His songs are a lifeline, a soothing balm for your troubled soul amidst the whirlwind of wedding preparations. Each night, as you close your eyes, his voice is the last thing you hear, a reminder of a world beyond your gilded cage.
One morning, the mansion is thrown into chaos. Staff members rush around frantically, preparing every corner for unexpected guests. You stop a passing maid to ask what’s happening, and she breathlessly informs you that the Kims, the most powerful mafia gang in South Korea, are arriving in less than fifteen minutes to discuss business with your father. The Kims are known for their meticulous planning, so their sudden visit sparks your curiosity and concern. They are an old mafia dynasty, almost royalty in the criminal underworld, with a history stretching back hundreds of years.
You remember seeing their heir, Kim Namjoon, at a ball when you were just a little girl. Even then, he carried an air of authority and power that left a lasting impression on you. Despite this brief encounter, your insight into the workings of the mafia world remains limited. The surprise and tension in the air are palpable, and you can’t help but wonder what this impromptu visit signifies.
Half an hour later, your father summons you to join the meeting. Your heart pounds as you make your way to his study, your mind a whirlwind of thoughts and fears. What could this possibly mean? Nothing prepares you for the sight that greets you when you enter the room.
There, opposite your father, sits Mr. Kim, the patriarch of the Kim family. To his left is Kim Namjoon, and to his right, Kim Seokjin. The men rise and bow with stoic expressions as your father introduces you. He then turns to Seokjin and says, “This is your future husband.” The words hit you like a tidal wave, leaving you frozen at the doorway, your mouth agape and your hand still clutching the handle.
Seokjin’s eyes meet yours, and for a moment, the room fades away. He gives you a brief smile and a wink, a small gesture that somehow cuts through your shock. You stand there, struggling to process the scene before you. Seokjin, the idol whose voice has been your sanctuary, is now standing before you as your betrothed. The contrast between his public persona and the reality of this moment leaves you reeling.
Your father’s voice breaks through your haze. “Please, come in,” he says, motioning for you to take a seat. You move mechanically, your mind still trying to catch up with the rapid turn of events. As you sit down, you can feel Seokjin’s gaze on you, but you can't bring yourself to look at him directly.
The discussion that follows is a blur. Words like “alliance,” “power,” and “future” float around you, but they barely register. All you can think about is Seokjin. His presence here, in this context, feels surreal. The man whose music has been your only escape from your gilded cage is now part of the very world you longed to avoid.
As the meeting progresses, you steal glances at Seokjin. His demeanor is calm and composed, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of emotions inside you. You wonder if he feels the same turmoil, or if he is merely playing his part in this grand scheme orchestrated by powers beyond your control.
When the meeting finally ends, your father speaks to you privately. “This union will secure our position,” he says, his tone leaving no room for argument. You nod, the weight of his words settling heavily on your shoulders.
That night, as you lie in bed, the reality of your situation sinks in. You are to marry Kim Seokjin, the man whose music has been your only solace. But what does that mean for you? For him? The questions swirl in your mind, leaving you restless and uncertain about the future. The only thing you know for sure is that your life is about to change in ways you never imagined.

i feel like going through my old art and seeing how my art has changed over the years, so why not! (none of these are direct redraws, but i'll look at anything that's from the same MV)
february 2022 - june 2024 : oh damn this one has changed a lot! you can see how i went from big eyes and pupils to smaller eyes and tiny pupils (watching the simpsons and south park really influenced how i drew eyes) i also just have an overall more "detailed" looking style, although it is still very much cartoony. wait a second i just realized... did i forget janet's beauty mark??? *facepalm*
may 2022 - june 2024 : the old one looks kinda weird with its proportions and stuff but it's also kinda hot 🤭 like look at the tongue goddamn! i can definitely tell the face is the main change here, but other than that, the poses are actually pretty similar! i really just think smaller pupils look better imo, but the old one is still good (i also add blush a lot nowadays)
january 2022 - june 2024 : i think this one has THE most apparent changes. 1. the eyes are wayyy smaller and more baddie energy (idk what word i want to use lol) and i love emphasizing his eyeliner. 2. the hair is longer for some reason? 3. ✨ complementary & SATURATED colours galore~ ✨ (orange and yellow look so good if you want a golden colour!!) 4. more exaggerated facial features & cheekbones. 5. lips 👄
the old one is so cute though 🥺 some of my old art can get really wonky but i have a soft spot for this one (he's so babygirl omg)
january 2022 - july 2023 : rare case where i actually like the old one better than the new one xD (my 2023 art was all over the place) those eyes are staring right into my soul and i don't like it
november 2021 - november 2022 : this one is a direct redraw and i'm honestly impressed how much i improved in a year! i find it funny how i just didn't draw the backgrounds the second time haha me being lazy as usual (fun fact: i drew this while i was on a plane visiting the USA) i will probably draw this again when november comes around, so here's your 4 months notice
alright, thats it for now!! tell me if you want to see more of my oldass art lol

HI HI HI sry i disappeared sleep and school eatin my life smh ANYGAY
who's your favorite south park character, what's your favorite hc for them, and what's your favorite canon thing of theirs >:3
also hope ur exams go/went great :D
YIPPEE YOU REPLIED ye i have some things to say (`▽´)
My favorite south park character is Kenny!! (he appears in 99% of my drawings send help) tho other favs are Butters, Wendy, and Kyle in that order :D As for why Kenny is my favorite tbh sometimes i wonder the same thing ( •̀ - • ) LMAO jk but is kinda dumb why he's my fav ig. For this we have to go back to 9yo me who knew nothing about internet but somehow ended up watching a gameplay of SOT and i gotta be super honest my first crush was princess Kenny srs
🚶🚶🚶 not Kenny, PRINCESS Kenny. And that was my first glance to south park ever, I never had interest in the series until like 2 years ago when I decided to screw the bad opinions and give the series a shot best decision ever honestly, so ye I always liked Kenny www but besides that well I can come up here and analyze the little blond in many aspects!! about how he's one of the nicest guys in town, how of a good brother model role he is to Karen, how all he really cares about are his friends and some boobs (silly lol), about his poverty and how I can relate to some point to that too and all of his character lore about his immortality, how it affects him and the many things I as a fan can think based of that!! I also have a Kenny plushie I happen to bring whenever I go to a trip so even my parents who know nothing about south park know Kenny and are fond of the little guy <3 so yeah he's my fav
Now about hc? 「( • ヘ •) I have one stupid hc but is so stupid LMAO so in another post I said I like Luka Megurine from vocaloid and one day i was playing SOT and had a vision:
Hc Kenny is a Luka simp HAHAHAS
Is so stupid bc it fits him so well 😭😭😭bc for even more context Luka fans are kinda known to be... pervert and unhinged (generalizing not everyone is like that ofc just look at me a repulsed ace guy 「(°ヘ°) but yeah. It has no explanation besides combining my 2 favorites things LMAO and this is a level 4 hc so I'm gonna add another hc more sp related which should be mmhmm wow I can't really think in any right now besides the obvious ones
kenny is the most knowledgeable about drinks, drugs and stuff bc he tried em all (and died some times) bc he knows he will always come back
this also applies to piercings and tattoos, smth along the lines of "death hurt more than getting a piercing"
he will still treat Karen like a baby even when she's all grown up
he's in charge of the groceries at home
he secretly loves being babied by his friends and goes along bc he rarely gets that treatment (watch covid especial for reference about how cartman, stan and kyle treat him like their son sometimes)
for example tho is too basic lmao. I have another hc about Kenny being peruvian because I AM PERUVIAN AND I WILL PERUVIANIZE SOUTH PARK AHAHA /lh also bc after watching the peruvian episodes I gen thought Kenny has more of a peruvian vibe than Craig if I'm 100% honest, like I get the Craig peruvian hc and is cool and all but all he did in those 2 episodes was complaining to the main 4 to the point even Kenny (a very chill dude) was mad at him LMAO and by the plot is that he ended up involved, like if Craig went along to them to pretend to be a mexican band (he denied it at the end of the second episode) then he would've be part of a mexican prophecy somehow too so the argument of "craig is peruvian because he was in the profecy!!" is kinda random to me lol. But I love the fanarts and hc!!! This is just a silly thought bc like no way dude we literally have Kenny dancing to peruvian music and I'm telling from my expertise in being peruvian for 19 years that you need to vibe with the music to be one of us trust, like that yelled at me PERUVIAN pluuus being peruvian to the other hispanic countries is smth very mocked on, poverty hella exists here and I dunno I feel Kenny fits being a peruvian guy? Or well having a tiny bit of peruvian dna im fine with that too *baila que linda flor del grupo nectar*
Last question!! My favorite thing about Kenny canonically is definitely how of a good sibling he is, I also like Kyle for this reason but I think is different with Kenny due to how easy it was for him to give up on his family and not care but he does! I wish we get more interactions between the McCormicks smh stares at Kevin
And well that was it :D I hope ya like it also I actually did well in my exams!!! I'm surviving law 💥💥💥

Teehee what if I completely infodump Ted lore on you all even though no one cares except me 😎
WARNING: Drug use, blood and old ass art
Introduction
Teddison Vanhalious Gafford (Ted), was the first South Park OC I have ever made. He was my favorite to draw for a LONG time, and I placed him directly into the canon universe of South Park. Which means I came up with several scenarios that were South Park worthy.
Which means I made SEVERAL versions of him in degrading South Park themed ‘episodes’ that I made up. It was fun and funny. :b
(For your own safety tho, if you ask about any of these specific forms, be warned that the answer may be very unusual 💀)
Ted’s story and lore is VERY detailed, so be warned that this is VERY long LMFAO.
Also Ted’s full name is supposed to sound weird. I just thought it would be funny if his full name sounded like an over-extravagant collection of syllables.
Ted’s Main Story
Originally, Ted’s father owned the Teddy Graham’s industry. But I changed that later so that it would seem less random, so now he just owns a very nondescript graham cracker industry.
Ted’s mother left when Ted was 2, so he remembers nothing about her. Ever since then though, his father became more and more distant with his son. That’s when Ted started developing the habit of infodumping on everyone he sees, since there’s no one else at home to talk to. His father is either away on a business trip, or locked up in his study. They also rarely never cross paths in their mansion since it’s so huge.
Ted has also started to take everything his father says at heart since he rarely ever speaks to him in the first place. For instance, his father once told him to start ‘acting like his age,’ therefore Ted started wearing the most cliché kid’s clothes.
Ted’s Relationships
Ted’s relationship with Oliver is the most important one. Oliver originally hated Ted in the beginning, since all he always wanted was peace and tranquility, and now all of a sudden a ranting chatterbox was talking to him every second of the day.
But Oliver started learning more and more about Ted, including his relationship with his father. He opened up to Ted eventually, and he realized that the silence wasn’t always a great thing for him. The both of them started giving moral support for each other, Oliver helping Ted through his hardships and Ted supporting Oliver against his toxic parents.
Ted is very good friends with Casey. They both share the same energy; both of them being complete airheads. Ted also gets along very well with Ernesto, though Ted backs up most of the conversation.
There is an OC I have not brought back yet, a teacher named Ms. Freese. I should probably bring her back soon. But Ted has a one-sided friendship with her; Ms. Freese finds Ted completely annoying but Ted won’t leave her alone during classtime.
The relationship between Augustus, Oliver, and Ted is more complicated.
Oliver absolutely hates Augustus, thinking he’s a self-righteous snob who thinks he’s better than everyone else. Augustus hates Oliver for exactly the same reason. Ted doesn’t have a direct relationship with Augustus, but he tried his best to break up fights or arguments between the two.
Ted’s Side Plots/Lore
The first episode arc I have included with Ted is his superhero-persona arc.
His superhero persona is Blackbear, whom everyone makes fun of for being a furry.
He doesn’t have any specific powers, but he fills his boxing gloves with rocks so that his punches hurt like hell.
He keeps his identity hidden by not only wearing a mascot head, but also taping his mouth shut so that he’s completely mute, so not to give himself away immediately by talking so much like he usually does.
He actually is more of an anti-hero than a full hero. He takes sides simply depending on who he agrees with; morals out of the question.
He sometimes gets into so much trouble and fights so hard that he gets severely hurt. His pain tolerance is very high and he runs off of adrenaline, so he sometimes takes things too far.
The second arc I have made for Ted is his rapper phase, Teddi G.
I haven’t fully developed the story of Teddi G, but honestly I think it’s kind of just very funny to keep it in the dark to use as a joke even though I made it an outlet of trauma for Ted— 😭
I’m going to include one side plot that is very controversial. It is one of the degrading ‘episode’ ideas I have for Ted. It is where Ted runs away from home, and tries to find a place to live, but ends up in an alley in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. A homeless man took him into the alley, took pity on him and offered him marijuana. Ted took the offer and ended up trashed in the alley until Oliver found him. *COUGH* yeah like I said; scenarios that fit into the South Park scene 💀
Anyways, I have made other ‘episode’ ideas for Ted, but that’s all I’m going to share since thats the LEAST scary one 💀
Thanks for reading this far!! :DD

Collector’s Bounty: Part 1
Welcome to my newest WIP! @whumplr-reader gave me the prompt “ransom doesn’t arrive, whumper needs to do some quick black market organ work to make up the money they thought they were getting”, and I loved it so much that I’m making a whole series about it. This is part 1. Tw: referenced/threatened human trafficking. Enjoy!
~~~
It turned out Jackson Hawthorne’s family didn’t care about him nearly as much as Aris had been counting on.
The Hawthorne family does not stoop to ransoms or blackmail. The law is on your case and rest assured, you will be caught.
A paltry, two-sentence note typed on crisp stationery had been left in lieu of the tens of thousands Aris had demanded.
And he needed that money. A hit job for his newest client had gone south, and if he couldn’t come up with enough cash to clean up the mess, he’d be paying in blood— this time, his own. He snatched up the note, crumbling it into his pocket and stalking out of the dilapidated warehouse towards his car.
How dare they?
Going 90 on the deserted byways back to his place did nothing to vent his frustration, so he had his favorite balisong in hand by the time he’d yanked the car into park, mindlessly flipping it through his fingers as he fumbled with his keys and headed towards the basement.
Cliche, he knew. But also windowless, dark, and nearly soundproof. He’d fortified the door to the staircase, added a few extra bolts, but the room was otherwise unmodified. And for now, the only bloodstains littering the cement floor were an old, rusty brown.
But not for long.
If he couldn’t get a show from the family, he could have fun toying with his captive.
“Looks like your family doesn’t give a shit about you, Hawthorne,” Aris snapped as he slammed the door shut behind him, taking the stairs two at a time. Jackson was exactly how Aris had left him, albeit with signs of struggle. The chair he’d been tied to had shifted, rope burns smudged angrily around his wrists and ankles, the gag stuffed in his mouth was tangled and spit-soaked. But none of Aris’s friends had been dumb enough to lay a hand on him.
“So here’s the deal,” he continued, stalking around the chair and raking a hand through his captive’s soft curls, his grip tightening when the man jerked away from the touch. “Just because your family won’t pay up doesn’t mean I don’t need the money. And right now, you’re still my most valuable asset. You’ve gotta make yourself useful somehow.”
He twirled the blade one more time before ghosting its tip over the man’s throat, steel dipping into arteries and sinew but not yet drawing blood. And for a rare moment, his captive stilled, eyes widening in terror, a gasp frozen in his lungs.
“Make no mistake, you have plenty of worth to me, even dead. A human heart can sell for nearly a million bucks. That’s tempting, isn’t it? But Sebastian Hawthorne wouldn’t take well to his eldest son succumbing to some mystery killer, now, would he? And having a revenge-seeking millionaire on your ass isn’t the greatest way to maintain anonymity.”
He removed the knife without fanfare, drumming his fingers against the back of the chair. “But sex sells, that’s what they say, anyway. Pretty young Hawthorne boy, one night only, anything goes?” He grinned and slipped the blade under his captive’s belt, giving it a playful tug.
Jackson thrashed against the restraints on instinct, his terrified gaze hardening with rage. A string of furious retorts were muffled by the gag, surfacing as nothing more than a pathetic collection of desperate sounds.
Aris shrugged.
“I mean, not my cup of tea, but cash is cash,” he continued indifferently. “Although I have to say, Sebastian’s precious heir getting ruined by mob brats would warrant a revenge campaign equally vigorous.”
He withdrew the knife once more, gazing dramatically into the distance as if lost in thought. A few beats of tense silence passed, then he slid the knife under the gag, cleaving through tattered fabric without fanfare.
“Don’t like my ideas, huh? How about you come up with something better?”
Jackson stammered wordlessly, the ferocity of moments before draining away like it had never existed.
“I— I— I uh—“
“Can’t think of anything?” Aris murmured. “Then it looks like we’ll have to stick with plan A.”
“No— I— fuck— uh— I can wire money from his account— if you let me go— I know his passwords—” Jackson sputtered. “I’ll get it to you, if you let me go—”
Aris laughed. “Let you go? I’ll stop you right there, pretty boy. You get out, you owe me nothing. I shoulda known you’d be too boring to have any good ideas. Guess we’ll go with my original idea, then.”
“No! Please—”
His thrashing grew so furious that the chair tipped over, throwing him to the ground with it.
“Not that one, you can stop freaking out,” Aris snorted, nudging his captive’s face with his boot. “Aww. I almost don’t wanna put you back upright, you’re finally where you belong.”
“But alas. It’d be a lot harder to get you out that way.”
Jackson’s face lit with hope like a kid’s on Christmas morning, and Aris’s twisted smirk only grew.
“Don’t look too excited, champ,” he mocked. “You’re not getting out of here in one piece or anything.”
“I mean, you’ll be mostly in one piece, but a kidney sells for at least a hundred thousand bucks, sometimes two. Seems like a fair trade, doesn’t it? I get my money, you keep your life and go back home to mommy and daddy like nothing ever happened.”
The thrashing recurred with renewed vigor, and Aris rolled his eyes, whipping his gun from his hip and holding it in front of Jackson’s face. “What are you gonna do when you get out of that chair? Take me down with your bare hands before I blow your brains out? Get your hands on my keys, slip past me, and make it through the locks and out to my car before you realize it won’t start without my fingerprint?” He slid the gun back into its holster.
“Face it, Hawthorne, you’re lucky I’m considering letting you go at all. You’re cute when you’re terrified. Probably even cuter covered in blood. I could just keep you. Cut some pretty designs into you, sell a kidney, a lung, some bone marrow every once in a while— a gram can go for three thousand, and that regenerates. Hurts like hell and all. Weakness, nausea, muscle pain, risks of nerve damage, and some massive needles are involved. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?”
Aris knelt down next to Jackson’s trussed-up form, glaring at him until he made eye contact.
“Listen to me. I like a fighter. If you kick out at me, try anything stupid, whatever, that’s only gonna make me want to keep you for good. By all means, make this fun for me. But it’s not in your best interest. Understand?”
Jackson nodded shakily, gaze shifting to the floor.
“Alright then, here’s the plan. I’m gonna cut these ropes, get you outta the chair, and handcuff you. You’re going to follow me to the car like a civilized person, and depending on your behavior, you’ll either get into the backseat or I’ll shove you into the trunk. Either way though, I’m gonna sedate you, which is a protection for you as much as me. Because we both already know you’ll be tempted to do something stupid like jumping out of the moving car. We’re gonna make it to my friend’s place, prep you for the procedure, and the rest… well that’s not your problem. Except that you’re probably gonna need to stay put for a couple of days afterwards while we monitor your vitals and make sure you won’t die as soon as you’re shipped back to the mansion. Any questions?”
Jackson listened with a distant, hopeless expression, tears pricking in the corners of his eyes. He blinked them away, swallowing hard. Any real questions would go unanswered, he knew that much.
“You really like hearing yourself talk, don’t you?” he muttered instead.
Aris shrugged unapologetically. “Yep. You’ll get used to it.”
With that, he sliced through the ropes on Jackson’s ankles, then freed his wrists. His captive slumped to the floor in a heap, not even bothering to catch himself. He just curled up and buried his face in his hands.
“Come on, Hawthorne,” he said casually. “We don’t have all day.”
“How bad does it hurt?” Jackson asked softly. “I— I know it’s gonna hurt. But… how bad is it?”
Aris’s mocking smirk returned.
“Poor thing. I’ll just let you know, it’s gonna be hell after you wake up. You’re gonna wake up and ask to be knocked right back out again, cause pain meds are an expense I’d rather not pay for. It’ll ease up after a week or so, I’m sure you can tough it out. If your family ends up being reasonable, you’ll make your way back to them soon enough and they can pump you with as much morphine as your spoiled little heart desires, how ‘bout that?”
He heard the panicked hitch in Jackson’s breathing, watched as his eyes widened in terror, and plucked a syringe out of his jacket pocket.
All this stress couldn’t be good for his body or anything inside it.
“It’ll be over soon,” he said gently, holding the needle behind his back. With his other hand, he helped Jackson to his feet, then shifted to hold him by a shoulder before sinking the syringe into his neck, pushing the plunger in a smooth motion.
“Wait— but—” Jackson stammered. “I— please— I— I’m—”
“You’re too damn cute for your own good,” Aris murmured, cutting off his terrified babbling. “I’ll spare a few bucks for the morphine, alright? Least I can do now that you know twenty thousand bucks is worth more than your life in your family’s eyes.”
And in the midst of weak, half-slurred protests, Aris scooped up the Hawthorne heir in a bridal carry and hauled him off to his fate.
maybe a weird question, but does the show that your backgrounds appear in ever make you feel differently about your work? like as an artist im sure youre pretty much always proud of the finished product but if the show that uses them is one you dont like does it ever.. make you feel weird?? or is it still just like "hey, i did that!"
nah..Not any weirder than posting art in general feels LOL. the thing is, liking a tv show as entertainment is different from liking it as a workplace which is also different from liking it as idk… an art object to put in my portfolio. I’m not going to pretend there isn’t overlap there like if I had to kind of draw it out (in more ways than one haha)...
So theres a lot of push and pull between factors. Its VERY common for artists to have shows they enjoyed working on that they wouldn’t personally enjoy watching and vice versa. And for me personally? I’m a glass half full kind of guy so even amongst mixed feelings I tend to focus on the good parts and I've liked almost every show I've worked on, come out feeling pretty good about my work almost all the time.
I’m lucky though. I’ve never had to stay at a job with truly heinous working conditions. I’ve always had the privilege of enough resources (savings, parents house to fall back on, etc) to quit and find something new which is something not all people have.
And I guess I would feel weird/bad about my work if it turned out to be used for like… a horrendous hate crime or something? Like if god forbid I ended up somehow…presumably accidentally?? working on the 21st century’s version of Birth of a Nation???? But (knock on wood) I like to think the chances of that in animation are pretty slim LOL or at the very least I'd be able to see the red flags ahead of time and get out of there…. one of the good/lame things about mass media is that it’s supremely moderate like it can’t be transgressive or radical (on either end of the political spectrum) or else it risks losing profit. And on top of that, animation is one of the least spontaneous storytelling mediums. just by nature of how much coordination and planning that has to be done ahead of time for something as simple as moving a character across the screen. Backgrounds in particular are relatively middle-late in the animation pipeline. every show runs a little differently but normally by the time we're working on bgs the story, boards, and characters are like... 70-90% locked in? So it’s pretty rare to be working on a show only to later be surprised by whats on screen when it airs.
I do know that south park turns on a dime and makes episodes slapdash in like one week but uh I like to think they're the exception not the rule LOL. most western animation will take about a year per ep from outline to final export.
anyways thanks for sending a thoughtful ask as opposed to something patronizing or obnoxiously leading like "im so sorry you had to work on such a shitty show" which ive been getting a bit of lately.
As a non American can you explain why are there 3 concerts in Ohio? Is it a really big and populated state? Or else Louis could've done 1 bigger venue.
Djebdishdisvjdvsh
Sorry. I had to scream a little in the car because listen 😂😂😂 when the dates were announced I wanted a single show in Ohio. We get passed over all. The. Time. So often. So I first saw cuyahoga hills and was like…. Why there??? Nothing is there??? 😂 but OHIO! And then I saw Cincinnati and I was like… Cincinnati too???? Okay! Hitting the northeast corner and southwest corner of the state! Cool! And then Columbus too??? Like I legit texted @londonfoginacup asking like HOW MUCH DOES LOUIS LOVE US THAT HE IS GIVING US THREE OHIO SHOWS? Like we have to go to all three to show him Ohio loves him and this wasn’t a mistake right??? 😂
Which we obviously did. But we were just as surprised as you, I PROMISE YOU.
That said, there’s a lot of reasons why he could have chosen three shows here.
One: Ohio has three major metropolitan areas in the one state, which is pretty rare outside the super large and populous states. He’s hitting the three major markets and since he seems to be trying to hit even the smaller areas that don’t get much attention with this tour, it makes sense for that alone really.
Two: Location. Ohio is a state in an area of the country called the Midwest, but we are located in a pretty central area. This could explain it as well, because he’s not going to Kentucky (the state south of us) and I don’t think he’s going to Pittsburgh? (The closest large city east of us, he played there last year on Valentine’s Day hehe) which means they’ll be looking for shows to attend closeby, and Ohio can offer that. So while he’s also hitting Indianapolis (closest large city west of us) and already hit Detroit (another large city in the state north of us), he’s also not playing West Virginia (another state that borders us) and… yeah. Lots of people in that space who will be needing a place closeby to see him.
Which brings us to three: Population. We aren’t the MOST populous state or anything, there’s a reason people get us confused with Iowa and Idaho lol but, that said, we are the tenth (or seventh??) most populous according to the google search I just did lol different sites disagree, but when you consider there are fifty states, that’s still a good showing lol considering we have so many other populous areas surrounding us that the concerts would also draw from, that could have also been a contributing factor.
And lastly four: SCENERY. Listen. Ohio gets shit on a lot for being a “boring” state or a “flyover” state (aka no one comes here as a destination) and it pisses me off lol every single person I’ve ever brought to Ohio has been surprised when they got here because there was so much more here than they thought and parts of the state are GORGEOUS. I mean did you see the flyover view that John Delf did on Instagram of the cuyahoga falls venue??? That’s actually in a national park and it is just stunning there with gorgeous hiking and waterfalls and shit in the near vicinity. It’s amazing. And the venue he played tonight in Cincinnati was literally right on the Ohio river that creates the southern border for our state, and it had a view of one of my favorite bridges I’ve ever seen! PLUS!!! Tonight there was a full moon, and it was right above the bridge and Louis got to look at us AND THE BRIDGE AND MOON THE ENTIRE TIME. How gorgeous is that??? Like look at this shitty photo I took. Incredibly beautiful.
That’s from the railing that was only a short distance behind me and the sound guys for the concert so. Not shabby, right?? Now the venue in Columbus is right downtown in what we call the arena district because the arena where our hockey team plays is right across the street and the baseball stadium is next door and the new soccer stadium is in the area now too, so it’s got loads of venues and restaurants and shit right there and Kemba is one of the best indoor/outdoor venues in town now. I’ve seen several shows there over the years, and it’s great every time. It’s got good sound, a good setup, and the staff is always fantastic so while it’s maybe not the coolest venue, I do love when artists I enjoy come there. Not sure of the appeal on Louis’ end, but ¯\__(ツ)__/¯
So, taking all of these points into consideration, it does make a bit more sense… but three does still seem like he just felt like being overindulgent to us and show us extra love 😂😂 as emmu said, I guess Louis loves us best hahaha
We are just kidding, please don’t send me hate lol
I honestly also do not know why he chose to do this for us, but it makes travel plans a lot easier for us and I’m really fucjing thankful haha I’ve mostly been worried we wouldn’t be able to fill the venues sufficiently but so far so good so here’s hoping Columbus shows up too haha Heaven only knows parking and driving in Columbus is a fuck ton easier than doing so in Cincinnati 😂
#long answer long#sorry it’s so wordy#but hopefully this does help??#I obviously feel a bit too much pride in my state sorry lok#but also forgive me for choosing to pretend to believe louis put three shows in Ohio bexause of me and emmu#😂😂😂😂#fuck that idea is hysterical to even write out but damn is it a fun thing to joke about lololol#asks#anonymous
Things Chucky Does To Annoy Nica In Their Shared Brain (Nica still has hands):
Recounts the plot of the latest South Park or Rick and Morty episode he’s watched (he watches a LOT of tv when he has the body, when he isn’t killing that is)
He pulls up the most embarrassing memories he can find in Nica’s subconscious and painstakingly analyses them like he’s writing an essay on that particular memory, he doesn’t stop until Nica begins to cry
Complains about various things that annoy him, loudly and obnoxiously until Nica is hitting herself in the head with a pillow to shut him up
Brags about his kids and brings up the fact that Nica will never see Alice again or have her own kids, this upsets her more than it annoys her, but Chucky takes great enjoyment from it
“Junior double triple whopper” basically the whole thing over and over again until Nica calls out to Tiffany so she can get a distraction from it
Tries to recall the plot of Peter Pan and tells the story to Nica, constantly interrupting himself to say that he really resonates with Peter yet can understand Captain Hook’s motivation, because kids are annoying and he too would kill them
Ranks his top ten favourite murders, either by him or by serial killers he admires in extreme detail
Delivers a monologue length autobiographical account of his life, being sure to linger over the months he spent with Nica’s mother and sister because he knows it annoys her
Sings songs (badly) there’s a lot of Queen, and a lot of Meatloaf, he particularly enjoys Bat Out of Hell
Chucky: Like a bat out of hell I’ll be gone when the morning comes!-
Nica: I wish you were!
Chucky: Not happening!
Chucky believes heavily in conspiracy theories (you can’t tell me he doesn’t) so he explains to Nica (entirely seriously) about the dangers of the Illuminati and that aliens are going to invade, so tinfoil hats are humanity’s only defence
Rants about Andy Barclay, this isn’t specifically intended to annoy Nica, he just gets really angry whenever he thinks about Andy, and this inadvertently annoys Nica because he rants for a while
Tries to convince Nica to get into killing, because he knows she’ll never agree but he thinks it’s fun to watch her squirm
Chucky used to be good at art, and in the rare moments Nica draws or paints to pass the time (or when Tiffany gives her art supplies as something to do) he criticises everything she does, sometimes taking control of her hands to erase the lines she drew and start over
Recites memes that he learned when he had control of the body, specifically Family Guy and South Park quotes (he loves “Dancing, walking, rearranging furniture”)
Sometimes when he’s bored, he forces Nica to play I Spy, but the things he ‘spies’ are always obscure and random, like the tiniest speck of dirt on the floor at the other end of the room, and he won’t stop until she guesses, it can take hours
Jimmy's pov -
"Alright and uh... Kyle Broflovski? Is there a Kyle here?" The substitute asked, looking up from his clipboard to glance around the room. Nobody said a word, silently looking around themselves. I glanced at the door, waiting any moment for it to burst open and in run a flustered redhead.
Yet, he didn't come.
"Alright then, guess he's not here." The teacher sighed to himself, marking something down with his red pen. I frowned at that, snapping my eyes back to the seat next to Stan, where Kyle usually sat. It was unusual in itself that he wasn't here. He was never absent. And when we was, Stan would always tell the teacher the reason why, substitute or not.
There would be times where Kyle was tardy or times where he'd come in, out of breath right before the bell rung. He was a person who always loved to do things right the first time and always be on time. But he couldn't do those both at the same time. He'd often be late because he'd work too hard or too thorough on a project or something. It was admirable, but I could tell it was exhausting.
Regardless of that, Stan always knew.
But now, Stan looked confused as well. But I didn't need to ask him now and get caught by the teacher, since I noticed he was already on the case. I watched as he slowly reached into his open backpack that was leaning against his desk, pulling out his phone to the side and turning it on.
I flicked my eyes to the teacher, making sure he was engrossed in whatever the hell he was teaching before looking back to Stan. He quickly typed with his left hand, looking up every now and then to make sure he wouldn't be caught.
Honestly smart. Most people that text in class keep their eyes glued to their phone in hopes of typing faster. I felt a tap on my shoulder, turning to my left to see Clyde giving me a questioning look. I lifted my hands, doing a quick typing motion before gesturing to Stan.
He nodded in understanding, doing the same as I was doing by flickering his eyes between Stan and the teacher.
It was easy to understand what eachother were talking about. Having developed a way to speaking without words. It consisted of gestures more than anything, but simple eye exchanges were put in as well. They were harder to read, but when the situation was obvious, it was easy to understand.
The reason for this wasn't only because we were close friends. It was because we both had eyes for the same person. Kyle, to be exact. It was honestly a surprise when me and Clyde figured out we both had a crush on Kyle. Well, more than a crush. But we wouldn't admit that out loud.
It was nearly back in fourth grade when I realized my feelings. I had always had a certain draw to him, but I never really questioned it. That was until Kyle had started to hangout with Tolkein more. It drew him closer to our group, and it was easy to figure out then and there that I had a thing for him.
It confused me at first, because I've never been attracted to guys. Sure I would admire them, but I never wanted to be with them or anything like that.
And it was only a good month ago when I found out Clyde also liked Kyle. We had been ditched by our friends who were on a double date. Craig went with Tweek, and Tolkein had gone with Nichole. So they left us in our own single-life misery. That night, Clyde had came over and we drank a few, ate a few edibles and just talked. It wasn't anything special. Just two guys bored out of their minds and wishing they had someone to hang on their arm.
Clyde had dated Bebe for a while, but it didn't really work, so he was at the same stage as me. I myself dated a few girls, but after the third breakup, I just stopped trying. It was when he brought up his type, that I had put the pieces together.
'Firey, red head, pale skin, oh! And feckless! God I love freckles. Green eyes too, they're real pretty. Nice ass, slim, pretty smile. That's, my type dude.', is what he had said, in his exact words. It wasn't hard to figure it out. The only girl that looked that was, was Red. But she didn't have green eyes or freckles, so it was easy to turn her away.
Honestly, I'm not sure how I still remember any of this. I was high our of my mind. But I do recall him saying something about 'adorable nerds with anger issues' and that was enough evidence for me. I had straight up asked him if he liked Kyle, and if he was sober, I bet he would've responded with sputters and curses at me. But instead, he had simply nodded his head to confirm my suspicions.
The next day he was begging me not to tell anyone, but I just came out to him and revealed that I also like Kyle.
It was something stupid to bond over, but in a way I guess it made us feel less lonely about being single. I had asked him when the first time he knew he was in love, and surprisingly, he was more than happy to share.
His story, was that back in sixth grade, nobody gave him anything for Valentine's day. He did get a couple of cards but none came with candy or any love letters. Just a simply, 'Happy Valentine's Day!' and that was it. Clyde was an emotional kid. He still is sometimes, so it wasn't a surprise when he told me that he broke down behind the bleachers in the gym afterwards.
Kyle had been the one to find him, comforting him and telling him nice things. Supposedly Kyle had shared half his candy with him since he was diabetic anyways, and the two just sat talking. Clyde told me all about how he loved the way Kyle's lips curved at the top when he smiled, almost like a cat. Or the way his nose scrunched up whenever someone said something stupid. I had to admit, those were some of my favorite parts about Kyle too.
I heard a sigh from Stan, loud and relived. I put my attention back on him, watching as he slid his phone back away. I narrowed my eyes at Clyde, getting a shrug in response. I nodded, leaning back in my chair.
Guess we'd just have to ask at lunch.
I did feel weird at times whenever we tried to check in with Kyle. Even if he himself didn't know we were doing it. But it was hard not to look out for his well being with Cartman still around. He had dragged Kyle and the other two in a lot of shit as kids, and only when we started freshman year did we all realize how fucking insane it all was. It was a miracle how were all still alive at this point.
Less intense stuff happened now. But it was still relieving to check up on him every now and then. If not for him, then us, because we worry too much.
***
"Did you guys notice that Kyle wasn't at school today?" Clyde asked, all of us sitting down at our table. Our table was two over from Stan's, which was weird considering we were all basically friends, but Craig got annoyed by Cartman and Stan easily, so the distance was fair.
"Hm?" Tolkein hummed, chuckling afterwards with his eyes glued down to his phone. I rolled my eyes as he lifted his hand, blowing an air kiss to seemingly nowhere. But I knew better. He was texting Nichole again, flirting with her even when they were across the room for eachother. It was almost embarrassing.
"Kyle, he wasn't here." Clyde tried again, pouting when he wasn't given a response this time. Craig was too busy trying to calm Tweek down about global warming, and how it was going to kill us and at this point, Tolkein wasn't even paying attention.
"Dude, y-you're more in l-l-love than me." I teased, laughing at the glare I got as Clyde's face burned red. The guys knew of our crush. It was easy to tell anyways. Clyde talked day and night about Kyle, and though I was usually annoyed whenever someone talked about someone they loved for so long, I couldn't ever find it in myself to shut him up. Because I completely agreed with him. With everything he said.
Kyle was just so cute and so amazing in every way possible. I couldn't even shoot down a conversation about Kyle. Why would I?
"Shut up, you've liked him longer asswipe." Clyde huffed, thudding his elbow on the table as he reached for a fry off his plate. Munching furiously, but only managing to look like an angry chipmunk.
"I fell f-f-first, you fell h-harder." I shot back, only earning an eyes roll, because he knew it was true.
"Did you have time to ask Stan yet?" He asked, quickly changing the subject. I chuckled at that, getting a look from him but didn't tease any further.
"No n-not yet. I was hoping to do it some- sometime during l-lunch." I explained, taking a sip from my water bottle. Clyde hummed, trailing his eyes after Stan as he got up to the vending machine, suddenly standing up and tugging me with him.
"Well then we should do it now. I don't wanna ask with Cartman or Kenny around." He said, helping me grab my crutches before we were standing up and heading over. I laughed again at his eagerness. But I completely agreed with him. It was probably better in the long run if we asked Stan alone. If we asked around Kenny, he'd make a remark about us wanting to fuck him, and Clyde would only break and reveal our secret. if we asked with Cartman around, he'd do anything and everything in his power to find out why we asked, and he'd most definitely find out.
But Stan was sorta slow, and gullible. He'd believe anything long as it doesn't involve himself, or getting someone he knew dragged into something bad.
"H-hey Stan, w-what up?" I asked, me and Clyde moving to stand behind him. He glanced over his shoulder, shooting us a quick smile before he moved his attention back to the machine.
"Hey guys uh, nothing much. Just getting some chips because the lunch today sucks. Plus, I think Kenny's enjoying it more than I am." He chuckled, gesturing back to his table as he slipped in a bill. Me and Clyde turned out heads to look at his table, Kenny happily stuffing his face with overcooked chicken nuggets and gooey mashed potatoes. The food wasn't bad here, but it did have funny textures.
I laughed at that, turning back to look at Clyde. But instead of laughing, he was just smiling nervously and blushing.
Yeah, he's not focused on anything but Kyle.
"Hey, Stan..." He started, and I mentally face palmed with how nervous he sounded. He had always been pretty shit at hiding his crushes. But Kyle was a friend of ours, so it was even harder than just an ordinary crush. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't been caught yet.
Especially with how much he stares at Kyle in class.
"Yeah Clyde?" Stan asked, cursing to himself when the bag of chips got stuck on the edge of the slot. I hissed in sympathy as he pulled out another dollar bill.
Those thing were definitely rigged.
"By chance, do you know where Kyle is? He wasn't here this morning so I'm assuming he didn't come to school." He said. The hesitation was clear in his voice, but at least he wasn't stuttering. Though honestly, it probably would've been better if he had a natural stutter like me, that way he could hide his nervousness a lot better.
My speech had gotten better after my parents let me take classes for it, but I did stumble every now and then. Something I'm still trying to work on, but it's always more difficult when I'm near Kyle.
"Oh yeah, he's in sick. He got the flu or something? I dunno, he's been burning up all morning." Stan said, sighing when the chips finally fell down and hit the bottom of the vending machine.
I hummed in understanding, nodding my head. It kinda did make sense for him to be sick. He had been looking extra tired lately. Most likely from overworking himself again. He tends to do that a lot.
"Shit, he okay?" Clyde asked, sounding very concerned. More concerned than a friend would normally be, but I couldn't entirely blame him. His mother died from a toilet for fucks sake, anything's possibly at this point.
"Yeah dude, he's cool. He may be small, but his immune system is strong. I'm surprised he even managed to get sick at all." Stan said, ripping his chips open and immediately eating a handful with a satisfied hum.
"W-well, at least that's g-good to h-hear." I smiled, shifting a hand to grab my wallet from my back pocket. That way it seemed we had an obvious reason for coming over here.
"Why?" Stan suddenly asked. I froze, blinking at him a few times as he stared at us blankly. Sometimes in moments like this, he reminded me of Craig. When Stan was curious, his face would drop all emotion, and he'd just stare and wait for answers. It was kinda unsettling.
"W-what?" I asked, confused on what he was asking about.
"Why did you guys want to know?" He asked specifically. There was no hint of anger nor suspicion in his voice, but he definitely looked like he was confused. Just from the tiny frown between his eyebrows. It was almost invisible.
I shared a quick glance with Clyde, who in turn was also looking at me to awnser. Fuck. We're both clueless. We should've really thought this through. I wouldn't be surprised if Stan pointed out Clyde's nervous sweating.
"O-oh! Just curious." He then said, shrugging nonchalantly. But his shoulders were stiff when he did so, and his flickering eyes didn't help him whatsoever. He always did have a tendency to avert his gaze whenever he lied.
Damnit Clyde.
"Curious?" Stan questioned, now tilting his head and fully frowning in confusion. At least he was showing emotion now, but how the hell do I get us out of this one?
"Oh, a-and because we have a p-proje- a project to do. I need his h-help to look over the sch-school paper I finished and make a-a few revisions." I quickly added on, shrugging the same way Clyde did, just more natural. Clyde gave me a small smile in gratitude, quickly looking back to Stan before he saw our exchanged glance.
Clyde did this often, where he would screw up with speaking whenever the topic changes to Kyle. It wasn't often, but if we were near someone who Kyle was going to tutor and they mentioned it, I would have to pinch Clyde or glare at him in order to stop him. Because if I didn't, he would go on and on about Kyle without realizing his mistake, and I would have to cover it up with lies. It wasn't the best system, but it had worked for a whole month so far.
I didn't notice it before I knew of Clyde's crush, but I think him and I sharing the same interest on it, made him open up more about Kyle. Which was more a bad thing than good, because he's gonna get us caught one day, I swear.
Stan seemed satisfied with the awnser, fixing his face back to it's usual subconscious friendly smile. He never used to smile like that. Especially with everything that happened in his life so far. What with his parents and Wendy and all. But after Kyle made helped him start taking his meds on time, Stan became much better in the sense of health and emotion.
Sometimes it makes me jealous of how much Kyle cares of him. How much he cares of everyone.
"Oh cool. Well I'm sure he'll let you stop by. He'd take any reason for his mom to stop hovering over him." He rolled his eyes jokingly, causing us both to laugh.
"Right, we'll do that. Thanks again dude." Clyde said, moving aside as Stan turned to leave.
"No problem." He said, smiling in return before heading back to his table. I waved him off, only dropping my smile once he fully turned away.
"Clyde, seriously." I said with a slight chuckle, not needing to emphasize on what I was talking about for him to understand. He groaned softly, ripping a few bucks from his back pocket and shoving them into the machine like it was the reason he almost exposed us.
"I knooow dude, I suck at this." He whined, smacking the buttons hazardously like he didn't care what he got.
"Jesus man, how have y-you even lasted this long?" I went on, only earning a middle finger in response. I laughed at that.
Clyde's pov -
I listened to the snow crunch underneath my shoes each time I took a step forward, trying to pay attention to that more than the way my heart was practically having a fucking disco party in my chest. My ribcage almost hurt.
"Are we really doing this?" I asked, lifting my head to look at Jimmy. He scoffed at my words, narrowing his eyes as we continued to walk.
"What, gonna chicken out? P-pussy." He grinned, flashing his teeth at me teasingly. I glared at him, lifting my hands to push him slightly. He cursed under his breath, catching himself on his crutches before he could fall.
"Asshole." He hissed, smacking the side of my ankle with his crutch. I yelped at that, staggering over and grabbing a nearby traffic sign in time to fix my balance. I shot him a glare back, wanting to wipe that smug look right off his face. But it would only delay our time, and we didn't have much of that.
"Whatever, I'm not a pussy. I'm just...this isn't a thing I'd usually do." I admitted, rolling my eyes in embarrassment as I stuffed my hands into my pockets. My ankle did ache a bit when I walked, so I was definitely gonna bruise, but I ignored it. For Kyle, I could deal with a little pain.
"Same here, but you don't see m-me forming my own b-b-bubble. If we're gonna go through all this t-trouble to see him more, then we're gonna have to ac-actually approach him." Jimmy stated, making a rather good point and I hate that he's always right about these things.
We've been watching Kyle for so long now, that it's actually embarrassing that we've never asked to hangout with him one on one. It's not like we stalk him or anything, but we do stare, we do listen, and we do pay attention.
By this point, I know what kind of music he listens to, what his favorite food is. I know that he likes to tie his hair up during basketball, how he sometimes likes to paint his nails. Sometimes red, sometimes green. And on Saturdays, he's always in a rush to drop Ike off at hockey practice even when he's more than capable of doing it himself.
Sometimes I felt weird for knowing all this stuff. It wasn't like I asked Kyle or anything, I simply just know from conversations over the years and watching the smallest things he does.
I thought I was just being a creep, but the guys assured me that it was normal to do those things whenever you had a crush. Craig had even told me that he studied the way that Tweek made coffee just so that he'd always be able to know it just right. But honestly, that just sounds more romantic than what I've been doing.
And Jimmy is right, we never approach Kyle about hanging out, just the three of us. Or even just him and I. Anytime we do interact for a long period of time, it's either because both of our friends groups are going out together, we're all at a party, were put in a group project, or if we find ourselves chatting. But the last one is never planned, and always short lived.
I'd like to think I'm close to Kyle. As close as he is with Tolkein I'd say. We weren't the bestest of friends but I'm pretty confident that were on the same level of 'good friends since elementary '.
But this was something new. Me and Jimmy had never just gone to Kyle's house without asking or texting him beforehand. We've never even been around him without someone with us like Stan or Kenny.
Kenny had gotten closer to Craig and I, as well as Stan. We smoked from time to time at Stan's farm or behind the school, so Kyle appearing was more often than it used to be. I shouldn't feel nervous to be going to Kyle's house. We were friends after all, and I'm pretty sure that Stan and even Cartman did it themselves. I even recall Kyle fussing about how Eric just let himself in nowadays.
Although they are on a whole different level of friendship. Maybe this was a bad idea? I'm not sure, but I-
"Clyde, stop walking." Jimmy said, ripping me from my thoughts.
"Huh?" I asked, looking up at him with confusion. He sighed, shaking his head with a small smile.
"We're here, idiot." He pointed out, tilting his head to the side. I glanced over, feeling my heart beginning to beat even harder just from the sight of the tall house. Which, was actually only two stories tall, but for some reason it felt so much more scary.
I lowered my eyes to the driveway, seeing the car parked in front of the garage. His parents were home, so I sorta felt more relived. God knows how panicked I would be if it was only Kyle, Jimmy and I in the house. I would make a fool of myself.
"Right...right, okay. So we just...knock?" I asked, following close behind as Jimmy made his way over to the door, using his feet to kick over bigger clumps of snow in the walkway. He had gotten numerous surgeries since middle school, so his legs mostly worked, but he needed the help of his crutches every now and then. He's still going to the physical therapy for it, and in a few years he'd be able to walk more properly without the crutches.
"That's the plan, b-buddy. Got another one?" He snickered over his shoulder. I huffed at that, not saying a word. He knew how hard it was for me to so much as speak whenever Kyle was near or if he was on my mind. I was usually loud and obnoxious, but when it came to my stupid crush, I just turned to mush.
It was a thing the guys liked to take advantage of and make fun of, but thank God they weren't like Cartman and attempted to blackmail me with it.
I flinched as Jimmy knocked on the door three times, shooting me a smirk as I visibly stiffened. I swallowed nervously, snapping my eyes to the door and taking a small step behind Jimmy as I heard heavy footsteps approaching.
I almost flinched when the door opened and Kyle's dad stepped into the doorway. Looking down at him - because he was a tad bit shorter than me - , I felt like an eight year old all over again. Knocking on my friend's door to ask their parents if they could come out and play. With Craig's dad, I had nearly pissed my pants every time seeing how tall the fucker was.
And though Kyle's dad was of normal height, and I was taller than him by at least two or three inches now, Gerald still looked like the most intimidating father in the world.
It was close to the same feeling I had when I stepped at Bebe's door and asked if I could have her hand in marriage. I was only ten then, and I nearly passed out when he gave me a narrowed look.
But Gerald was a different story, because I wasn't dating Kyle, but I sure as hell wanted to be. I sure if I even spent two minutes with the guy, he'd know I had a thing for his son. He'd know my undying love for him and he'd beat the ever loving fuck out of me for it. And if he hated me enough, I know he wouldn't think twice about putting a fist-shaped hole through my gut, because Gerald was crazy.
Probably crazier than his own son, but I knew if I started to date Kyle, that Gerald would only be round one. Then there was Ike, as overprotective as he was of Kyle despite being four years younger, and then there was Sheila. And God forbid I even have to face her wrath, so I might as well get on their good sides before it's too late.
I know Jimmy was, because he was an outstanding student with good humour and a charming smile that parents loved. But I was a jock that went to parties and got drunk off my ass just for the fun of it. I might be social, but I was way too damn emotional and it sometimes scared people off.
Regardless, I had to play it safe. Be myself, and don't be too overwhelming.
"Oh hi boys! Kyle's friends, right?" Gerald asked, smiling brightly as he opened the door for us to come in. I gave him a small smile in thanks, me and Jimmy stepping into the warm house. It was always so cozy in the Broflovski residence.
"Of course! And h-how are you, Mr Broflovski?" Jimmy asked, always so innocent to parents. I almost wanted to scoff but he was doing this for the both of us, so I should just take the pass and go.
"Oh, just call me Gerald, but I'm fine thanks! You here to see Kyle?" He asked, looking rather hopeful. I nodded at that, humming in confirmation.
"Yes, actually. We heard he was sick, so we came over to check up on him if that's okay." I said, rocking back on my heels. I wasn't the best with first impressions but if there's anyone I know how to impress, it's parents. Jimmy may look charming, but I can be a pretty decent gentleman when it was necessary.
Jimmy shot me a small glance, and from the corner of my eyes I could see the end of his lips tug upwards into a small grin. He always thought it was so funny whenever I played coy. He said it made me look like one of those guys with 'the boy from next door' kinda vibe. Which, should be flattering, but it's just embarrassing.
"Oh thank God. I was hoping at least Stan or one of them would stop by because his mother has been up there all day coddling him like a child. I can tell that he hates it, so I'm glad you two came." Gerald sighed, rolling his eyes at the mention of Shelia being an overprotective mother, but he still had a loving smile on his face.
Okay, maybe he wasn't so bad. Intimidating, but nice.
"Well it's n-no problem sir." Jimmy said, straightening his posture as if he was proud of himself. I snorted at that.
"Sheila, there's some boys here to see Kyle, can you come down here?" Gerald said, giving us a quick smile before rolling his eyes again at the silence he got in return.
"She'll come down in just a second, do you boys want anything to drink?" He asked, already moving for the kitchen. I quickly put my hands up, shaking them to decline.
"Uh- no that's okay. We had a big lunch." I chuckled. And it wasn't a lie. Jimmy had literally watched me spend nearly fifteen bucks on the vending machine as I stress ate my worries away.
"Well alright then. But do ask if you need anything." He said in response. Just as he said that, Shelia came down the stairs holding multiple bottles of medicine and wearing a worn smile to greet us. It was a lot smaller than her usual greeting smile, but I guess you could expect that from someone who's worrying for her son.
"Afternoon boys, it's nice to see you." She said, handing the bottles to Gerald who immediately took them and headed back to the kitchen.
"You too, ma'am. Uh, we don't wanna b-be a bother but we were hoping to see K-kyle?" Jimmy asked politely, putting on a hopeful face to guilt trip her into letting us, even though we both knew she was nice enough to say yes.
"Oh, you're no bother at all. My little Bubbala's a little sick, so try to keep a safe distance, alright?" She smiled, using that same nickname that Kyle is always embarrassed about whenever his mom uses it around us, but we all know he loves it.
"Absolutely. We'll try not to take too long, we just wanna talk a bit." I said, balling my hands into fists in my pockets.
God, the anticipation was killing me.
"No worries you two, you kids can stay as long as you want. Just as you remember to wash your hands before leaving, I don't want you two getting sick." She shook her head, giving us small head pats before moving to join Gerald in the kitchen.
Okay, maybe she wasn't as bitchy as Cartman made her out to be. She'd probably make a really nice mother-in-law...
Shit. I'm already getting attached to his family.
Me and Jimmy headed up the stairs in silence, shooting knowing looks at eachother. He had been all high and mighty when we first started heading here, but now that we were in Kyle's house, I could tell that the nerves were catching up to him. He was usually the bold one. He had to be for the both of us, but this was something we've never done, and I was honestly a tad but scared.
I know that I'm just overreacting and that Kyle wouldn't think much of it. But he had always been really observant and caught onto thing that most people wouldn't.
When we finally reached his door, it all became so much more real to me. I mean, I've been in his room countless times over the years, spoke to him so uncaringly and effortlessly since I could remember, and gave him small friendly touches like I did with the rest of the gang. But those were the days that I hadn't realized my feelings, and now it's all coming back to me in a rush.
Jimmy poked my arm, gesturing to the door with his eyes. I nodded slowly, licking my lips and raising my hands to slightly fix my hair before I knocked softly. Jimmy rolled his eyes at the quick appearance fix, but quickly ran a hand through his hair himself.
Hypocrite.
"What do ya want now ma?" Kyle said from the other side of the door. I laughed at that, shaking my head at the slight Jersey twang that came out with the annoyance. He was so cute.
Third pov -
"Oh nothing Bubbeh, I just came to put this thermometer up your booty and check your temperature schnookums." Clyde said in a high pitched, atrocious attempt at Shelia's voice, peeking his head in to the room
Kyle frowned, snapping his head over to the door to see the two brunette's holding back laughter. He flushed at their teasing, pushing his lips into a pout.
"Oh, you guys are assholes." He said, but he couldn't help the wide grin that appeared on his face. They laughed at that, walking in and shutting the door behind them.
"She doesn't even call me shnookums. That's Cartman's nickname from his mom." Kyle huffed, pulling himself up to sit against the pillows. Jimmy let himself plop on his back right into the bed, dropping his crutches in the process as Clyde moved to occupy the chair in front of Kyle's computer. Sitting on it backwards to rest his arms on the head of it.
"Oh, s-so you deny that, but not th-the part about the thermometer up your a-ass?" Jimmy asked, turning his head to look up at Kyle. The redhead flushed even darker, but still held a positive smile.
"Fuck off Jimmy, she doesn't take my temperature that way." He scoffed, attempting to flick the other in the forehead, but he was much too weak to do any real damage.
"What are you two doing here anyways?" He asked. But there was no heat behind the words, he was just curious why the two so suddenly showed up. And without warning as well.
"Stan told us you were sick. We figured since he can't come to shoo your mom away because of his farm chores, then we'd do it. Plus, we came to drop off your homework." Clyde said, leaning over to dig in his backpack for the work sheets.
Kyle blinked at that, taking the papers that were handed to him.
"Oh, thanks you guys. Any projects?" He asked, shuffling to look through the assignments. Jimmy rolled his eyes at that, finding it funny how Kyle was already thinking about work.
"Naw, you're fine. Mr. Garrison is taking another vacation trip w-with his hus-husband, so we won't g-g-get any big assignments till next m-month." He explained, turning on his side and resting his cheek on the soft blankets.
Kyle's comforters were always so soft. The few times that Jimmy had been close enough to smell them, were years ago when they had their last sleepover with the guys. He certainly missed those days, but he relished now in the nostalgic smell that invaded his senses. It smelt like cinnamon and flowers...like Kyle.
"Nice...and about my mom- I mean, I love her and all, but she can be really overprotective of me and Ike all the time." Kyle giggled, knowing damn well that his mother had said something to them down there.
"I don't b-blame her. You s-s-seem to get in t- in to trouble a l-lot." Jimmy said, mentally cursing himself for letting his stutters start to slip out more.
Kyle made a noise of offense, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned back into his pillows.
"That's not true...okay, possibly me. But not Ike." He said, quickly correcting himself. He couldn't just bypass all those life-risking years of his childhood and not say he hadn't done anything to get him into trouble.
"Dude, Ike and I literally ran away to be pirates and Cartman almost fed you to sharks. I would know, I was there." Clyde deadpanned, grinning at the way Kyle averted his gaze slowly.
"Touche." He mumbled, making them all laugh. And despite their calm, casual attitude around the redhead, they were internally freaking out.
It had been ages since they've been alone with Kyle, and seeing him out of school and out of his usual work-hard-play-hard demeanour, they couldn't help but to admire how chill this side of him was. So uncaring.
He wasn't dressed in his usual clean, outfit. He was dressed only in a baggy t-shirt from what they could see, and hoped to God he had pants on or they wouldn't be able to control themselves. Where his green ushanka hat was, was instead his mess of curly red locks. They weren't brushed out, they were knotted and tangled up, which for some odd reason made them seem more soft and fluffy. His face was already flushed, his nose being the most tinted as he sniffled every now and then. His lips were red and chapped, seeing as he had to breath through his mouth since it was easier than through his nostrils.
Everything about him was messy and so undone, so unlike his public self that's always subconscious around people at school and how he looked. Both in appearance and how his public image was.
And the fact that he didn't immediately shoo them out to make himself seem more presentable, made them realize that he trusted them. He trusted them to see this side of him, and he felt comfortable enough to not care.
And they loved it. It made them feel special.
But even looking so tired and sick in bed, he was still the most beautiful guy they've ever seen. Green eyes as bright as ever, lips ever so inviting, and a laugh that was so damn contagious that even someone as apathetic as Craig would smile back.
The trio chatted away like they had no worries in the world. Talking about whatever came to mind. It was nice for Kyle to chat with other people that weren't his usual friend group. Almost refreshing in a way.
Don't misunderstand, he loved the guys. He really did. But sometimes he just didn't want to deal with Cartman's unnecessary jokes or Kenny's unhealthy amount of flirting. And Stan was great, but Kyle didn't always want to cling to his side like a lost puppy. He knew Stan needed space every now and then, and he didn't really want to be a bother to anyone else.
So this was a nice change of familiarity. He was able to talk to the two brunette's about things that he wouldn't normally be able to talk about with the guys.
They talked about classes, what new upcoming movies they were most excited about and they even talked about D&D. It seemed like Clyde and Jimmy were big nerds, a thing that Kyle thought was adorable. The rest of the guys had fallen out of those things sometime when they entered middle school, so he was more than happy to agree when Clyde invited him to a night of board games with him sometime.
Just the three of them.
Halfway through their talks though, Kyle's sickness was starting to set back in. His mom had given his some cold medicine before they got here, but it had been an hour since then, and he could feel the symptoms coming back.
He didn't want to interrupt them and make his pain known, because he didn't want them to leave. He was sure they'd do just that if they sensed him feeling sicker, so he tried not to show it.
But only three minutes after his first stomach cramp, he felt a sharp pain in his gut and he couldn't help but to wince loudly in the middle of Jimmy's sentence.
"Geez, you sure you're okay? Have you talked to a doctor?" Clyde asked, politely waving his hand at Jimmy to stop talking for a second.
"My ma already did. He said it's just a cold and stomach pains, but it feels like I'm dying on the inside." Kyle tried to joke, but wincing when the nervous chuckle caught in his throat.
"Here b-buddy, lay back down." Jimmy said, sitting up abruptly to help Kyle lay down properly. The redhead flushed from the sudden closeness but let Jimmy adjust his pillows so he rested easier.
"Want us to do something? I get sick all the time, I'm sure we can make you feel better." He said, still leaning over Kyle as he said this. His words had been so confident that he didn't even realize he hadn't stuttered. Let alone realize how fucking close he was until he looked down at his friend.
Kyle was mostly frozen, eyes wide as he looked up. And it didn't help either that Jimmy had big arm muscles from years of pulling himself along and it was definitely giving him some sort of gay panic.
"I-i...um, wait- no, you don't have to do that. I can take care of myself." He stuttered out, trying his hardest to hide his disappointment when Jimmy pulled away, seating himself on the edge of the bed.
"No shit you can, but a little help won't hurt. Here, I'll be back. Just lay here and rest." Clyde then said, standing up from the chair and heading to the door without another word. Kyle didn't have time to say much, because once Clyde was gone, Jimmy was leaning back over and brushing his hair out of his face.
The taller teen pressed the palm of his hand to the other's cheek, Kyle mentally freaking out because his skin was most definitely clammy, and it would definitely feel gross on Jimmy's hand.
"Huh, you're kinda hot...I-i mean, your skin of course." He said, quickly correcting himself. Kyle snorted at that, lightly smacking Jimmy's hands away.
"Well, i-i guess i-in both ways too." He the said, earning him a full out laugh from the redhead. Jimmy smiled, glad that he was able to draw such a beautiful laugh from such a wonderful person.
"Shut up, you sound like Ken." Kyle giggled, scoffing at the shrug he got in response.
"Where d-do you think I learn it f-from?" Jimmy grinned. Kyle snorted at that. And not a short sound from the nose. But a full pig like sound that sent him into more because he was laughing at the way he sounded.
"I'm sor- you can't just- Jimmy!" Kyle giggled, hiding his face in his hands in embarrassment as he tried to calm himself down. The joke hadn't even been that funny, but it was the way he said it and with the face he made that triggered Kyle's hidden laugh.
And Jimmy was more than pleased with the adorable reaction. He'd never heard Kyle laugh like that, and he was falling in love with the redhead for what felt like the hundredth time again.
"Yo, I'm back. What'd I miss?" Clyde asked as he stepped back into the room, holding a tall glass of cold ice water.
"Kyle turned into a pig." Jimmy deadpanned.
"I did not!" Kyle retorted, burning red as the two laughed at him.
"Anyways, I asked your mom for a cup of water. Lift up your shirt." Clyde said, taking his seat back on the swivel chair, using his heels to roll himself to the side of Kyle's bed.
"W-what?" Kyle asked, tensing up as Clyde set the cup down on the nightstand and reached for Kyle's Tshirt himself.
"Don't worry, my mom used to do this all the time when I got stomach aches." He said, slowly moving his hands to the bottom of Kyle's shirt. That way, if he wanted to deny the action, he could. But he didn't seem to be bothered by it. A little confused and a little flustered, but not bothered. So Clyde grabbed the end, and slowly lifted it up to his chest. He didn't expose Kyle's nipples, because God forbid, but he did slip it high enough to the middle of his ribcage.
The two brunette's stared intensely at the new exposure of skin. Of course, they'd glanced at Kyle in the locker room for time to time, but they were always too scared to actually admire him. Now, they could see every freckle and scar on his pale stomach. A tiny happy trail of ginger peach fuzz that formed under his belly button, and a four inch faded scar near the left side of his stomach where he had gotten his kidney transplant years ago.
He was so God damn perfect in every aspect and every way. It was totally unfair how gorgeous he was to them.
"Sorry." Kyle said, ripping Clyde out of his thoughts once more. He swears, he keeps getting trapped in his own thoughts whenever it comes to Kyle.
"No it's alright. It doesn't make me emotional anymore, but thanks anyways." He said, shrugging at the look of sympathy he got. His friends always avoided topics of his mother, but nowadays he could care less. Don't get him wrong, he loved her. But she was kind of a bitch sometimes.
Kyle hissed again, groaning in frustration at the pain in his stomach. Clenching his hands slightly.
"Got any lotion?" Jimmy asked, glancing around the room as if he'd be able to spot some.
"Uh, top drawer." Kyle said, pointing over to the nightstand. Jimmy snorted at the obvious, not saying a word as he leaned behind Clyde to reach past him.
"Why do you have lotion in your drawer and not in the bathroom?" Clyde asked, taking a small drink from the water before setting it back down and grabbing a cube of ice out with his fingers.
"W-why do you think, Clyde? To jerk off, obviously." Jimmy said, causing Clyde to choke on his spit and nearly drop the cube from his hands.
"Hey- no!" Kyle exclaimed, looking at Jimmy in offense as the two burst out laughing.
"Stop laughing! I just get really dry hands when it gets cold!" He went on, feeling a hundred degrees as they were practically hunched over, gasping for breath.
"Mhm, whatever y-you say." Jimmy chuckled, uncapping the bottle and squeezing a small amount on his palm.
"I'm being serious guys! Look!" Kyle pouted, throwing his hands up to show his flushed hands. Fuck, it seemed evey single part of him was blushing in embarrassment. Jimmy rolled his eyes, taking a hold of one of the outstretched hands and cradling it with his own.
"Sure Kyle, sure." Clyde smiled, hearing a huff in response that was soon to cut off with a gasp when he grazed a corner of the cold ice onto Kyle's stomach.
"Wait, that- that tickles." Kyle laughed, his belly fluttering as Clyde drew small circles with the ice. The two boys laughed at his reaction, laughing along with him slightly as he enjoyed the cool feeling on his heated stomach.
Jimmy continued to massage small movements into Kyle's hands, distracting him from the pain and the abnormal temperature his body was suffering.
"Feel any better?" Jimmy asked, loving how small Kyle's hands were in both of his. Literally everything about the redhead was small. Something that was both charming and adorable in its own way.
"Mnn, yeah, actually." Kyle responded, fluttering his eyes closed as he hummed in satisfaction. Jimmy and Clyde shared a quick look, smiling in accomplishment. They were making their crush happy, and that was enough to make them feel like they won some sort of game. A game that they didn't need any trophies for, because seeing Kyle smile was enough of a reward for them.
The smaller teen enjoyed the unfamiliar sensations, humming or sighing softly every few seconds. He didn't mean to be vocal, but he could care less because it felt too good. With Jimmy's firm fingers pressing into the nerves of his hands and wrists, and the light swipes of melting ice swiping across his warm skin. It was euphoric.
But his noises were much too...hot. And before Clyde knew it, he was popping a stiffy. It was funny, considering Jimmy was the one that got awkward boners more often. A thing he'd suffered with since the third grade.
But Clyde didn't have time to worry about that. He had to worry about himself and what to do. He didn't halt his hand movements, knowing it would probably draw attention from the person who caused him the boner.
He made sure Kyle still had his eyes closed before tapping Jimmy on the knee, earning his attention. He blinked his eyes at his friend, trying to hint his situation. Jimmy didn't understand at first, raising a brow and tilting his head in confusion. Only when Clyde grit his teeth and flicked his eyes down to his crotch did the other teen realize, really trying his hardest not to fall into another fit of laughter.
"Hey Clyde, you sh-should probably go re-wet this." He said, grabbing the damp rag that rested on Kyle's pillow that he had noticed a few minutes ago.
"Y-yeah man, sure thing." Clyde choked up a bit, dropping the ice on Kyle's stomach and taking the rag. He shot a grateful look to the other, giving Kyle a small smile when he realized the redhead had slightly opened his eyes. He turned away before he stood up, doing so to hide the tent in his pants.
Clyde rushed to the bathroom down the hall instead of the one in Kyle's room, leaving the two alone once more.
Jimmy chuckled softly, shaking his head before he switched his attention back to the smaller male. He reached one of his hands to do Clyde's job. But instead of ice, he just used his fingertips to gently trace over drying water marks, the ice already having melted in a small puddle of water leaking off the side of Kyle's hip bone.
The redhead shivered at the light touches. A thing that Jimmy found very alluring to watch.
"He okay? He seemed a little tense." Kyle asked, his voice slightly thick from all the coughing he had been doing earlier before the guys showed up. He had even accidentally coughed and sneezed on them a few times, which ultimately embarrassed him.
"Heh, yeah. He just got a c-c-call from a little f-friend of his." Jimmy said knowingly, stopping the ministrations of his left hand to instead intertwine then with Kyle's, letting the other continue drawing small circles.
"Call? Huh, I didn't hear a ringer go off." Kyle mumbled, ignoring the way his heart fluttered when he looked at their hands weaved together.
"Yup, he got a call. A rather sudden one at that." Jimmy laughed, loving the clear confusion on the other's face.
"From Craig, I'm assuming?" Kyle pressed on, not wanting to seem too nosey but he was curious. The taller teen could only just barely hide his chuckles, shaking his head softly.
"N-no, someone much thicker." He said, his voice tight from how hard he was keeping in his laughter.
"Uh... Cartman?" Kyle tried again, and this time Jimmy couldn't help but break. Laughing freely in amusement from the whole situation. Clyde with a boner, and Kyle being completely clueless for once in his life.
"W-what?!" Kyle demanded, frustrated by the fact that he didn't know what was going on. He can usually read his friends like open books but Clyde and Jimmy were just so different from everyone else. It was much harder to pinpoint things about them.
"N-nothing, nothing." Jimmy snorted, waving it off and just downright admiring the way Kyle's face pushed itself into another pretty little pout. In that exact moment, Clyde came tumbling back into the room, his face looking a bit flushed as he held the damp rag.
"Sorry, I needed to piss too." He excused for taking a bit longer than needed. Jimmy chuckled softly at that, but didn't look up from his work at tracing Kyle's skin. It was hard to look away anyways. What with his star shaped freckles and his curvy frame. It was too mesmerizing. He wasn't sure when he'd get another chance like this, so he embraced it.
Clyde shut the door behind him yet again, not wanting to explain to any of the Broflovskis why two of his friends were hovering over Kyle and caressing him like a China doll.
He stepped back to the edge of the bed, sighing as he took his former seat. He reached over to the redhead, pushing a few of his bright locks away from his face. Clyde chuckled at the small noise of complaint he got at the action. Kyle never really liked when people touched his hair. Let alone saw it.
Clyde carefully placed the rag on his warm forehead, making sure it didn't drip into his eyes. Kyle let out a small sigh of relief, chills running down his neck at the coolness.
"Ugh, it's freezing." He mumbled, gripping his blankets tighter.
"Huh, the window's closed. Need me to ask your m-m-mom for more blankets or something?" Jimmy asked, glancing towards the sealed windows. Kyle lightly shook his head at that, closing his eyes that suddenly felt droopy. And the feeling of Jimmy's warm fingertips on his belly weren't helping.
"No it's okay. I don't think blankets will help anyways." He sighed, feeling a wet trail of water slid down his temple from the rag. A thing he hated most about being sick, was the constant half-hot, half-cold feeling. He seriously despised it.
"I...have an idea." Clyde suddenly said, humming in approval to himself as he stood back up. Kyle looked over to him in question, watching as he clumsily took off his shoes and tossed them on the floor.
What Kyle least expected, was for when Clyde walked back up to the bed and started to climb in, crawling over his body and plopping himself right behind him. Kyle couldn't find the words to use as Clyde wrapped his arms around him, Jimmy shrugging to himself and doing the same.
The redhead flush matched his hair, and though he was way too flustered to even curse the two out for being so bold, the comfort did feel nice. Nicer than what they were doing before, and he hadn't thought that was even possible.
"Y-you guys! You're gonna get sick!" He eventually managed to splutter out, refusing to smile when Jimmy's hand found his once more.
"It's f-fine. I get over it easily." The latter explained, smiling ear to ear as he snuggled his face into Kyle's chest. And he was sorta disappointed that they hadn't just taken Kyle's shirt off in the first place, because he would love to have skin to skin contact. But this was nice regardless, so he wasn't too unhappy.
"Same here. Plus, I kinda like being sick. I always get pampered." Clyde grinned, pulling Kyle closer to his chest without thought. He had been hesitant to come here in the first place, but now he was completely satisfied with the decision he had made to stay and not pussy out.
"Is that why you guys are being so nice to me? Because your parents do this to you?" Kyle asked, raising a brow as he slightly turned over to look at Clyde.
"Ew, if my dad ever cuddled me, I'd leave the toilet seat up for him." The brunette gagged, the other two laughing at the unexpected dark humor. They weren't entirely sure that the same death of his mother could happen to a male, but it was still a messed up, funny thought.
"Anyways, no. I just like cuddling, and you seemed like the perfect size for a body pillow." Clyde explained, nuzzling his face into Kyle's hair for emphasis.
Oh how he had always wanted to do that, and the softness didn't dare disappoint.
"...did you just indirectly call me short?" Kyle asked, causing Clyde to freeze in his movements. Kyle always hated his size. Going as far as to beating up someone for making fun of it. Cartman uncoincidentally being the only one to suffer that wrath, but it was clear enough to make a point to others.
Clyde fell into a nervous silence, and not being able to see Kyle's face just made him feel even more paranoid that he had fucked up.
"Uh...Jimmy, help me on this one." He tried, tightening his grip on Kyle again to make sure he wouldn't lash out and punch him in the face.
"Sorry, y-you're alone on this one pal." Jimmy snickered, hearing the genuine fear in his friend's voice. Clyde cursed, the other two laughing at him. But surprisingly, Kyle didn't seem mad - or even annoyed for that matter - so they weren't too worried about him kicking them out.
"Thanks guys, I really appreciate this all. I'll make sure to repay the favor when you get sick." Kyle said, rolling his eyes as he shifted his legs to get more comfortable. His bed wasn't small to him, but with two much taller and wider boys by his side, it definitely did feel like it went down in size.
"Who said we'll get sick?" Jimmy teased, simply enjoying the smell of his crush so up close. He felt like an absolute weirdo, but he just couldn't help but indulge in it.
"Jimmy, you guys are literally in my bed, cuddling with me, and I already coughed on you like, three times. I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna get sick." The redhead giggled, carding his free hand through Jimmy's hair. He smiled at the feeling.
"W-worth it." He admitted, snuggling impossibly closer.
"Agreed." Clyde said, doing the same as the other boy and pressing his body as close as he could get. Which wasn't very much because they were already back-to-chest.
Kyle just rolled his eyes for what felt like the tenth time, smiling never the less at the fluttery, warm feeling seeping into his chest. And not the bad kind like his sickness offered, but a pleasant kind. The kind that he felt multiple times in forth grade but stopped feeling after he realized relationships weren't his thing. He has stopped trying.
But this was nice. And he found that he wouldn't mind feeling it some more. He'd never felt it often with boys more so girls, so it was strange that he felt this way for Jimmy and Clyde. But in all honesty, it made sense. They were nice, sweet, and really caring when they wanted to be. It made sense for him to like them this way.
He snuggled back, feeling the edges of sleep pull him in. Usually he wouldn't dare let himself fall asleep near his friends unless it was Stan, but even then Kyle was hesitant. But he had a feeling he could trust these two. They'd showed him this much care so far, so he wasn't gonna second guess himself.
***
A few days passed and Kyle was able to go back to school. His sickness had only lasted two days, but it felt like forever to him before he was allowed to go outside again. It turns out, Clyde and Jimmy hadn't been there.
It was strange considering they had visited him and kept him company on the days he had been on bed-rest. Bringing him homework, giving him snacks they bought. It wasn't later from Tolkein that he found out, they had gotten sick.
It was funny, really. How they insisted they wouldn't get sick even though they had cuddled him for hours at a time and he had sneezed on them more time he can count. But, he had made a promise. So after school, he went straight to Shakey's to grab a few to-go milkshakes.
It would be difficult considering the two lived in different houses, but he'd find a way. They had done enough for him, now it was his turn.
He smiled at the thought, humming to himself happily as he walked down the street, shakes in hand. He could feel that weird tingle in his chest again just at the thought of them. A weird tingle that he knew of and what it was, but something that he never really listened to. But now, he really wanted to listen to it, because he felt like this time would be better than any little fling he tried in forth grade. A thing he messed up with Nichole, with Rebecca, with Leslie, with Bebe.
But he was sure he could give love a try again. Just this once, for Jimmy and Clyde, he could make an acception.
