★ so first of all I feel like date nights between you would be structured much differently than how allo ppl structure their dates. I’m not aro but I’m ace and I’ve always noticed how people’s dates are structured so heavily sometimes around sex, sexual attraction, physical attraction, setting the mood or whatever. I think date nights in a couple where both ppl are aroace to some degree, especially with lottie, would hold much less pressure and in general would be more chill. your dates wouldn’t be to try to force any sort of sexual or romantic themes, but rather favoring emotional and intellectual intimacy. you’re both busy with the wellness center so you want to hear about everything that lottie has been doing and working on — and in my head lottie is autistic and maybe adhd as well, so she’s more than happy to infodump about all that she has been learning about wellness and spirituality. you spend a lot of nights like that, getting closer by means of shared ideals and affection without the pressure of sexuality. it’s very soft, very stable. you like to talk about different life philosophies and theology together, culture and history and religion. and she wants to hear about whatever your interests are too, whether you show her a new hobby you’ve been learning or tell her about your job if you have one outside the wellness center.

hey glam!! omg i'm so excited to answer this because diary keeping is one of my absolute favorite things to talk about (and do!!)... i've been keeping diaries since i was 9 years old and i have boxes of them under my bed that i sometimes read through when i'm feeling nostalgic or need to remember who i used to be. so yesss, of course glam, i'd love to give you a little guide, i hope this post answers your question well <3

✧ mindy's guide to keeping the most magical diary ever ✧

first of all, let's talk about WHY keeping a diary is literally life-changing:

• it's like having therapy but it's free and available at 3am when you're spiraling

• you can say things you'd never say out loud (and sometimes just writing them is enough to feel better)

• it creates this beautiful archive of your life that future you will treasure

• it helps you notice patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that you might miss otherwise

• it's the perfect place to dream without anyone's judgment (including your own)

✧ finding your perfect diary format:

the biggest mistake people make is thinking there's only one "right" way to keep a diary. there isn't!! here are some formats i've tried and loved and hopefully you like it:

• the classic narrative diary: just writing about your day, your thoughts, whatever comes to mind

• the bullet diary: quick points about what happened, how you felt, what you're thinking

• the themed diary: keeping separate journals for different parts of your life (one for dreams, one for creative ideas, one for processing emotions)

• the question diary: answering the same set of questions every day to track how you're evolving

• the art diary: more visuals than words, perfect if you process feelings through colors and images

• the structured diary: using prompts and templates to guide your writing (i'm actually going to be selling prompts + journaling templates on my gumroad soon)

personally, i switch between formats depending on my mood and energy levels. some days i write pages and pages, and other days i just jot down three bullet points before falling asleep. both are valid!!

✧ making your diary absolutely beautiful:

• invest in a diary that makes you excited to write in it!! (this is so important... if you don't love looking at it, you won't reach for it)

• create a "diary aesthetic" with special pens, stickers, washi tape, pressed flowers, etc.

• designate a special spot in your room as your "diary corner" with good lighting and cozy vibes

• develop little rituals around writing (i light a specific candle and make rose tea before i write. i also love putting on the soundtrack from legally blonde on or sometimes even harry potter music, weird right?)

• don't be afraid to make it messy!! perfect diaries are usually abandoned diaries

• use different colored pens for different moods or topics

• leave space for future reflections (i leave margins so i can add notes when i reread)

• include little artifacts from your life (movie tickets, dried flowers, polaroids)

✧ what to actually write about (for when you're staring at the blank page):

• write a letter to your future self or past self

• document the tiny beautiful moments that would otherwise be forgotten

• write about what you're learning right now (about yourself, about others, about the world)

• create lists (things i'm grateful for, things that made me laugh today, things i want to try)

• write about your dreams (both the sleeping kind and the aspiration kind)

• describe someone you love in detail

• write about what's worrying you and then write advice to yourself as if you were your own best friend

• document your current favorites (songs, foods, people, places, outfits)

• write about the version of yourself you're becoming

✧ how to keep it up long-term:

• lower the bar for what "counts" as a diary entry (sometimes mine are literally two sentences)

• connect it to an existing habit (i write right after i brush my teeth at night)

• don't try to catch up if you miss days (just start fresh where you are)

• give yourself permission to be boring, repetitive, and contradictory

• read old entries when you need motivation (it's so magical to see how far you've come)

• remember that you're writing for YOU, not for some imaginary reader

• create seasonal "check-in" dates where you review and reflect (i do this every equinox and solstice)

• experiment with different times of day to find when your thoughts flow most easily

• use voice memos when you don't feel like writing (you can transcribe them later)

✧ making your diary extra girly & coquette ✧

i know this was your main question, so here is a long list of a bunch of things i personally do to make my diaries cute and girly <3

• use pastel gel pens for different moods (pink for happy days, lavender for dreamy thoughts, baby blue for sad reflections)

• decorate your diary cover with pressed flowers, lace trim, or tiny pearl stickers

• create "pretty borders" around special entries with delicate doodles of flowers, hearts, or ribbons

• use strawberry or rose scented stickers as entry markers (scratch-n-sniff diaries are elite!!)

• add little bows or ribbons to mark important pages (i tie tiny satin ribbons to the corners)

• press flower petals between pages (roses and lavender dry beautifully and make your diary smell divine)

• use a soft pink book light for nighttime writing to keep the aesthetic consistent

• write in your prettiest handwriting for entries about things that made you happy

• add little watercolor washes as backgrounds for special memories

• use heart-dotted i's and swirly flourishes when you're feeling extra

• create "memory pockets" by gluing tiny envelopes to pages where you can tuck away small mementos

• draw tiny butterflies or hearts in the margins when something good happens

• use coquette-core stickers (bows, ballet slippers, swans, cherries) to categorize different types of entries

• spritz your favorite perfume very lightly on special pages (just a tiny bit so it doesn't damage the paper!)

• decorate with vintage-looking lace tape along the edges of important entries

• use a pink silk ribbon as a bookmark (i attached a tiny crystal charm to mine)

• draw little crowns above dates that were particularly magical

• create a "glossary of feelings" in the back with different symbols for different emotions

• use glitter gel pens for birthdays, achievements, and other celebrations

• write quotes from your favorite romantic movies or books in fancy lettering

• create little "note to self" sections with pink highlighter boxes around them

• use strawberry-scented erasable pens so your diary always smells sweet

• add tiny pearl or rhinestone stickers to mark especially precious memories

remember that "girly" means whatever feels feminine and special to YOU. there's no right or wrong way to express your femininity in your diary!! the most important thing is that it feels like a beautiful, safe space that you're excited to return to every day.

gotta say I agree with ur opinions on the kcd2 headcannon stuff because

1) the game makes you chose its ending and the future for henry, as seen by the monologue henry has with his parents. my personal opinion is that the choices in an rpg are sort of the inner monologue of the character and any choice portrayed in the end of the game is cannonically seriously considered by henry

2) kcd3 is not released yet, and though we have no idea about the creative direction of it at all yet the open ended narrative and choices in kcd2 mean the narrative can be changed according to the whims of the player.

3) the historical accuracy stuff is what I’d say a loose foundation for the characters in the kcd series, as although the game is historically accurate in a lot of aspects, the characters based off real historical figures in game aren’t exactly like them, eg. hans being older than 15 etc etc. the characters are in no way bound to live in tragedy because you have choice over the trajectory of the narrative ingame, and the ingame cannon has strayed from real life events meaning the game is separate to historical events because bro after all it is literally a game and does not need to fit into some strict rulebook because games are creative works. after all it’s a funny and lighthearted game omg

people saying that henry cannot live happily are the same people saying that there is no way he was canonically bisexual in the series (which is bullshit) and people who can’t comprehend that happiness is also a realistic thing that happens!! also henry is proven to be an extremely capable person who is able to take care of all the hurdles in his way so why would that really change?

if anything, any choice you make for the ending however specific (which it can’t really be too specific) is cannon.

He’s so used to his brothers making fun of him and he takes it personally sometimes, so I feel like youd be like a safe space for him. But at the same time, I feel like he needs someone who won’t always go along with his schemes and will call him out sometimes, and you would absolutely do that. However I think you’re a bit too quiet for his tastes.

- I also thought of Lucifer because of your ability to push people to become the best version of themselves. Luce likes someone who’s stubborn and unafraid to stand up. He likes someone who will be upfront with him and call out his faults. He likes someone who will push him to be the best version of himself that he can be and I totally think you’d do that, but I think you’re too confused for him.

- Satan is perfect for you imo you’re reserved and quiet when you first meet people, which is a nice contrast from Satan’s obnoxious brothers. - so enochian magic is a language that is used to communicate with spiritual beings, like angels, right? but by celestial law, humans in the human world are not supposed to know about the existence of angels or demons (hence why Lilith was punished when she tried to save the human she fell in love with). so i can imagine that you had little to no resources on enochian magic in the human world due to crazy censorship from celestial laws.

- however, ofc you’re in the Devildom so you’re able to access more of these books and more information on enochian magic. Even if you didn’t list reading as one of your hobbies, i could see you trying to take advantage of this opportunity you’ve been given and checking out a few books on enochian magic. and when you show up to the library with your hands full of books on this specific topic, it piques Satan’s curiosity. I feel like he’d outright ask you how you know what enochian magic is and why you’re interested in it, and from there on, I could see you explaining.

- you’re super easygoing so I can def see Satan getting a really good impression of you. Plus he’s not used to seeing humans be interested in topics like enochian magic, as well as demonology and vampires.

- but you match eachothers freak so well. You’re both easy to get along with, you just happen to be more reserved but Satan likes that. It feels so nice to him bc it’s like a break from his brothers and the chaos they stir up LMAO

- Satan is very knowledgeable, especially in demonology, so I could see him telling you a lot of interesting things you didn’t know before and I could also see him referring you to specific books that could tell you more (although whether you actually read them like he suggests is up to you !!)

- also forgot to say this before but you do fit Satan’s type. He canonically likes someone who will understand his temper, and you described yourself as having one/getting frustrated at small things occasionally. Trafalgar D. Water Law; Boy or Girl SO Preference?

If you look at Flevance, they resemble a typical small Christian community, even if it isn’t explicitly stated. There were religious crosses, nuns, churches. There was most definitely a theme in Flevance’s religion about hope and the good in others, as the nun that Law sees says smth like, “There’s always a hand to help you.”

Flevance also had a high status of wealth (the whole diamond scheme) and the average cost of living/luxury of the average person was reasonably high. There vastly majority of the couple in Flevance were also probably traditionally monogamous, with one man and one woman.

I think if Law had grown up in Flevance his romantic interests would solely be focused on a female partner bc that would be the socially acceptable way and he wouldn’t view males in the perspective of a potential suitor. (Idk if this is recent interpretations of the Bible or not but it’s realistic to say that there would be stigmatism surrounding same sex couples in Flevance as most traditional believers of Christianity view same sex romantic relationships as ‘wrong ish’. At least where I live..)

However, the destruction of Flevance brought change to Law’s character and perception of love. Because of this and his loss of faith from this experience, I think adult pirate Law would be more willing to engage in a same sex relationship. (Would actually be a good writing moment made by Oda if it did happen imo but I digress)

I don’t ship LawLu, but I think Luffy is a real example of the type of person that could help Law heal and has aspects of what Law would need in a relationship. LawLu is good on a companionship/spiritual level imo but sexually/potentially romantically I do not see it at all being reciprocated by either Law or Luffy.

Just the fact someone like Luffy exists that had met Law is a good argument for Law being with a male, just not Luffy specifically.

Law’s significant other to me represents stability, safety, and humanity. This can manifest in people differently though so I don’t see him looking for something based on physicality.

Because of that I don’t see Law in canon having a preference between boy or girl for a partner. Perhaps a leaning towards female because that’s the traditional way of his hometown and in the One Piece world it seems like.

He’d need someone emotionally before he’d need them sexually imo, so if he found someone that worked for him and he was ready, that’s it no matter the gender.

Sexually he would probably be more attracted to females, and a lot of times sexual tension is mistaken for romantic tension but I don’t see Law acting upon either.

Hate to leave this discussion without giving u a definite answer anon but I just don’t think there is a definite answer yk.

My personal preference tho is him with a female because I see him falling for someone with a strong maternal presence. Yk little instincts and gestures they do towards him and the crew that sometimes make them sigh ‘okay mom’ while drawing out the ‘o’ in mom. Someone that reminds him of the feeling of safety and peace he felt as a kid in Flevance where his body wasn’t so tense all the time.

first of all i wanna start off with this. if you think they were ever “in a relationship” or “girlfriends” you are making your first mistake. here we have a woman who has just lost her mother and the real love of her life within a week, and then immediately she is handed more power than she even truly knows what to do with, try as she might to make it seem like she has it under control. she’s grieving and heartbroken but she doesn’t have time to manage anything  because she has a war to deal with. and then we have her subordinate, her coworker. imagine you are a girl with a raging hard on for power who has just witnessed a very hot officer ascend to leader of her house and your commander. she’s also in such a vulnerable position that it would be impossible not to offer her your shoulder to cry on. caitlyn is not herself, maddie is a horny twenty year old lesbian. i don’t believe that maddie was a traitor from the beginning, but i do think she was being remarkably selfish and did not care that caitlyn was using her. furthermore, i think she was into that part of it.

THAT BEING SAID! there is nothing wholesome about what was going on between the two of them. maddie’s smart, and she feeds cait all the praise and validation she needs to create a bandaid on her heart, and caitlyn takes it all in because nobody else is around to take care of her. at a point where she has never felt more unloved, here is a girl willing to smother her. fine. 

i do think that the deleted scene where maddie approaches caitlyn at a bar and has a heart to heart with her did happen. i think that’s how it started. i think they shot the shit and had a few too many drinks and caitlyn invited maddie home with her, and it startled her the next morning when she realized she didn’t feel any regret about it, only a dull sort of. well. that happened. it was kind of cathartic? i actually think she had a spring in her step following the first time, which pissed her off because it meant for sure that this probably wasn’t going to be a one time thing. and it wasn’t. 

maddie loves it. she sees it as being useful and helpful, but she also folds so easily for a girl who will boss her around. she’s a follower to her core: when someone’s in charge, she has to be the best for them (i.e. gold star sticker — good job, maddie!)��

maddie lovesss getting to stay the night at cait’s. her sheets are soft and always clean, there’s no risk of being interrupted or overheard, and she will take every opportunity to use her fancy shower (and maybe— no, definitely— all of her expensive products. you can’t convince me that she isn’t secretly having everything showers with cait’s stuff) 

maddie is an abhorrent bed sharer— blanket stealer, toss and turner, the works. the only way cait is able to get under the covers fully is if she snuggles up to maddie, which maddie occasionally (unwisely) mistakes as genuine affection. its not, really. (although, cait will sometimes relish in the comfort a little more than she should, too. but she’s more aware of herself) 

i wish i had a clear answer on how i think maddie switched sides, but it’s so difficult to sort out in my head because i do think season 2’s writing is really flawed in a lot of ways (not an unpopular opinion), one of those being maddie’s whole character. i think ambessa manipulated her though, i don’t think maddie turned on cait on her own. if anyone has thoughts on this i’d be interested to hear them!

I'm so tired of being multiple people. I don't like acting out when I'm embarrassed because I like learning from my mistakes and being mature about them or being the bigger person I don't like when my writing style changes all of the time from bigger and more formal words to "omg!!! Cool!!! :333" I know a little bit of who is what. I know that Andrew uses bigger words and likes to be the bigger person. I know Reno likes to act out sometimes and I don't want to have to take the responsibility for that when he does because I don't want to be him and I'm not him. I don't like it. I don't like when I am him. But I'm worried about what It means for me when I'm not him or anyone else because I'm nothing on my own. I'm worried that I'll get hurt in the process or that I might even stop existing or stop being around. I'm probably selfish. I don't even like existing. They told me their names or I gave them one to keep track of their specific behavior that I viewed as separate from myself so they're officially not me and shouldn't have to pretend like they are. And now that I know those who I thought were a part of myself are not I don't know what is me or who I am but I won't ever be given a chance to figure it out if I hold on to them. I just need to figure out how to let go of they'll let me. This is such a headache because I feel like I misinterpret a lot, what if my perception of who they are is so different. My head hurts. I shouldve been sleeping right now but I can't. I thought I should post this rant here because I know some of you notice the difference from when I change how I text, to when I go from "I love and respect everyone and everyone should feel safe here and positivity yaddah yaddah" to "I hate these specific people and let me argue with you or post a whole rant on why people who have this opinion are wrong actually." I don't think my opinion is important, I don't like being negative.

And I think it's great that people hold different beliefs than me because people being different from eachother is really cool. It's not a mood thing. I wish it was but I know it isn't and honestly I didnt even notice when this happened before I just thought it was annoying that I couldn't act one way all the time. I heard that changing your personality for others was something that some people did and I was like "okay, me I guess. I do that." But I always saw everything, inconsistencies, me not liking how I act after I do as myself as a whole. Who am I if I'm not whole? Maybe I'm just overexplaing emotion but you shouldnt feel like you act like a completely different person when your emotion changes you shouldn't always feel like "why would I do that. I'd never ever act that way if given the choice." Or just always feel stupid and have regrets like I wasn't actively there making the decisions. Unless that's changing emotions is just how it's supposed to be and I don't know because my sense of whats supposed to be normal or how I'm supposed to act is just gone because of this.

Tumblr is the only place I feel like we can somewhat be separate and the fact that someone wants to delete it because we feel embarrassed of the things we say is not right. I want it to get deleted but I feel like I don't always have control of that, like I just do things that I don't want to and regret them.
