You come rushing back into the kitchen, ready to shoo him out of it and up to the bathroom to take a shower.

“Lovie, you know I don’t mind. Plus I got in earlier so I tidied up and I decided to get a start on dinner. Shepherd’s pie good?” He kisses your forehead and nudges you out the arch of the kitchen with his hip.

“It’s great but let me help you baby,” pulling out the baby is a wicked little trick you learnt that got James to let you get away with whatever- especially pampering him.

“Not this time angel. Go sit down and read your book to unwind, pretty girl. Just want you relaxing.”

Your heart clenches at the ease and lack of pretense from his words. There’s no hidden anger or reproach in his voice. James’ time only holds fondness and respect.

“Okay but we can shower together? And I’ll wash your hair and give you a massage after?” Your hands reach for his shoulders as he butters the dish and you feel all the tension built there. “Please, baby?” You kiss his jaw for a little extra umph.

“Yes lovie, now go. Put your feet up and nap if you need,” he kisses your lips then. “Let me take care of you yeah?”

You’re going to have to pester him until he finally says what’s on his mind and appreciates when you try to find a middle ground for him. He adores your considerate nature so very much.

AITA for not asking if anyone else wanted something I ruined for everyone else?

I (16m) am kind of the garbage disposal of the family. I eat stuff they don't like. Onions, pickles, olives and so on get tossed on my plate. I was also recently handed a bunch of raisins from my younger sister(13) and her friend's(13multiple) traillmix? They were all eating a little bowl of it then gave me the bowl of raisins. It was weird but I did eat them.

Basically my family and I do not agree on what constitues as gross and/or inediable.

Much like the fact that I am obsessed with Marmite. I could live off the stuff. I eat it more than I should but I can't eat it in front of my family. I typically have to hide in my room. The reason for that is that because they hate it so much the can't keep their comments to themselves on how disgusting it is that I eat it. It's to the point that I'm kind of insecure because even just us seeing it or hearing about it makes them go "Look it's that gross shit you like/how can you even eat that/Nasty/for some reason our son is obsessed with that stuff no idea how he even stomachs it he must be an alien" It's not fun. They are also not joking. They look at me with genuine disgust all over their faces and most of the time I have to buy it myself but my dad will sometimes buy it for me because while he does join in on calling it disgusting he doesn't think it's his buisness what I eat. It's actually recently gotten worse and I feel anxious eating in front of them at all. Which has lead to more comments about me not eating with the family, it's annoying but I'll live. That's not the issue here.

Four days ago I did something that while I will admit it was unsanitary and gross, even in the context that I am the only one who eats this, I did not think was a crime. I had a fresh jar of Marmate that my dad ordered for me and when I was putting it on my toast I got some on the rim of the jar and licked it off before closing the lid so it wouldn't get all over the lid. (It was also extra umph concentrated which was funny). My mother flew off the handle at me and asked why I would do something like that because now no one else can use it and called me selfish. I kind of stopped for a second and admittedly got a little smart and responded with something to the affect of "Now no one can use the stuff that I have to use in secret becauss no one in this house can shut up about how disgusting I am for even considering eating it?" She hesitated but then doubled down and said I needed to be considerate of others in the house who might have wanted to use it. I am beyond lost here so I'm asking Tumblr.

Am I the asshole? Willing to admit I'm the asshole and apologize if I'm deemed in the wrong. But I was honestly under the impression that I would never have to worry about my family wanting this stuff.

Vivica's entrance onto the stage was nothing short of mesmerizing. With every step, her hips swayed in a hypnotic rhythm, a captivating dance that drew the gaze of every person in the room. The spotlight followed her, casting her in a radiant glow as she moved with effortless grace and confidence.

As she reached the center of the stage, she paused, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her lips. She exuded an aura of command, her presence undeniable as she prepared to make the announcement that would set the stage on fire.

She delicately cleared her throat, before speaking into the mic, "How you ladies doin' tonight?"

The women erupted into a chorus of cheers and applause, their excitement reverberating off the walls of the venue. The sound washed over Vivica like a wave as she took in the adoration of her audience.

She gestured towards the unseen dancer, feeding the energy of the crowd.

"Well, tonight I want to introduce you to one of my new dancers," she declared, her voice filled with enthusiasm. "His bronze skin glistens like no other, and just his presence alone will send chills down your spine. Woo!" With a playful laugh, she fanned herself with her hand, the motion adding to her performance.

The audience responded with a chorus of laughter and cheers. Vivica's infectious energy had them hanging on her every word, eager to see what she had in store.

"Got me sweatin' and he's not even out here yet," Vivica continued, her pace quickening as she took over the stage. "But he's not going to be heating it up in here. No, ma'am." Her words were punctuated by playful chuckles, her eyes sparkling mischievously as she teased the crowd with hints of what was to come.

With a wink, she leaned in closer to the mic, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Oh, no. His job is to put the fire out, if you know what I mean." The crowd erupted into delighted ooo's, eagerly awaiting the reveal of the mystery dancer who promised to extinguish their burning desires.

"Everyone, welcome... Fire Chief Reigns!"

With a final wave to the audience, Vivica swiftly made her exit from the stage, her heart pounding with hope. She couldn't help but silently pray that Roman would deliver a stellar performance and bring in some much-needed revenue for the night.

Roman's journey with Black Magic, Vivica's exotic dance company, had begun several months prior, when he had auditioned for a spot. Despite his allure—his captivating smile, his soft pretty lips, his confidence, and undeniable charm—Roman had fallen short during the auditions. The collective sigh of disappointment that swept through the audience mingled with the sound of eager applause and the rustle of bills being thrust into the air. With each bill that fluttered to the stage, they silently pleaded for him to continue his teasing, desperate for just a few moments more in his presence.

He chuckled seductively as he approached his chosen target. His eyes drank in the sight of her, drawn to her pretty brown eyes, the velvety richness of her chocolate skin, and the way her curly brown locks cascaded in unruly waves around her face, framing her features like a halo. With a confident flair, he grabbed her chair and pulled it forward, removing her from the crowd of other women.

As he straddled her, he made sure not to exert too much weight. With a firm grip on the back of her chair, he began to roll his hips slowly, each movement causing his muscles to flex and ripple.

She clutched onto his firefighter pants, her fingers trembling as she slipped ones into the fabric.

"Damn," she groaned, her heart racing faster than it ever had before.

He seized one of her hands, guiding it onto his chest and then slowly sliding it down his body and into his pants. It felt like a test of her patience, an invitation to explore further, to indulge in the forbidden. His intentions were clear, and she couldn't deny the feelings coursing through her veins.

And then, in a daring move that stole her breath away, he placed her hand on his bulge. It was a sensation that weakened her yet made her feel good that she held a power over him that none of the other women in the room possessed. Their gazes remained firmly fixed on each other, a silent and intoxicating communication that spoke volumes without a single word being uttered.

hi love !! so i want to start writing smut but i’m afraid it won’t be great or it will be cringe. do you have any ‘dos and don’t’ tips for writing smut??

i don’t necessarily have any like ‘don’t write this’ or ‘only write this’ kind of dos and don’ts but here’s a few tips that may help!

don’t listen to the ‘i hate when writers use this word for that body part’ or etc, because you can’t please everyone. use the words that feel most comfortable and best for you. if people don’t like it they do not have to read it, or worse case they skip over the word and continue reading the fic. there’s only so many words to describe a dick!!!

and with the above said: don’t try to appease/please anyone but yourself. at the end of the day YOU are the writer, if you’re writing what does not feel right with you it’s going to show in your work and the words will not flow. if you want to write smut but only explain the feelings? go for it. if you want to write toe curling i need jesus smut using the word rod for dick? do it! write what feels right to you and ONLY you!

there are so many posts and masterlists on here on how to write smut for beginners and they have tons of tips, whether that may be reading others works to get the vibes and how scenes flow, or going on the hub and seeing how the mechanics work to help you put it into words. so i highly suggest utilizing those sources (a simple search on here or google will put you in the right direction)

but here’s an excellent ‘smut guide’ that i came across years and years ago that can also help!

a little something that i personally think adds an extra umph to smut is adding the inner monologue / feelings of it all. we know what’s happening but how is it making the characters feel? what are they thinking when character a makes that noise etc etc

don’t be afraid to reach out to your fav writers and ask for tips from them as well, this community may seem intimidating but some of us are so welcoming and ready to help <3

write write write! even if it’s bad: write! you need to practice to get better. even if you don’t share it with anyone, write!!!!! no one’s born with the skill to be able to write smut incredibly well. so don’t be hard on yourself, you got this, it’s easier than you think!!

Hi, I love building in my game and only recently starting doing it within the past 8 months but for some reason I find them quite lacking, like for some reason I don’t understand layouts, idk they always seem awkward to me. What do you use as references and how can I improve? Also if you don’t mind how do you take such great photos? Taking screenshots in my game have never seemed that impactful like yours do even with my reshade preset.

Here comes a really long-winded answer because I'm overly procedural and detail oriented, lol. To improve your understanding of how to design layouts, I would recommend a combination of the following:

Before you build, figure out what architectural style you're going for, and then study some floorplans online to get a sense of how those homes are typically laid out. Here is a website that has thousands of floorplans for homes of many different sizes and architectural styles that you can familiarize yourself with.

Spend some time planning what rooms you know you want to include before you build. Decide if this home would suit an open concept, or a more traditional home layout when you are choosing which rooms need to be included.

Once you know how many rooms, then decide how large these need to be (I tend to think in terms of furniture placement). I always design my houses around the kitchen, living, and foyer/entrance space. These are the key areas that I enjoy decorating and are the focal points of the home, and once I have figured out the placement and footprint for these, the rest of the rooms come naturally. For example, it makes sense that a panty is located right next to the kitchen. It makes sense to put a formal dining area near the kitchen too, etc.

Always think about the way that rooms connect to each other in real life. Hallways. I was so terrible when I first started building at accepting that some of my floorplan is there just to connect sims to other areas of the home. Hallways are now some of my favorite things to make beautiful.

If you can, for fun, go to some open houses in your area. This is one of my favorite 'hobbies' — I'm lucky to live somewhere that has an annual parade of homes from high-end luxury builders, and I adore walking through and learning about the spaces they designed.

Practice makes progress. Don't be afraid to save your lot, name it version one, then start over and fix what isn't working. Saving an earlier version gets rid of the fear that you'll make things worse and not be able to get the original back!

Regarding Part II of your Question

Reshade aside, I pay a lot of attention to building to capitalize in-game lighting situations because this gives shots that extra umph of atmosphere. Then, I use the in-game camera the same way that I would a real camera. Focusing on details that would catch my eye if I were there in person, and using tab mode and the w, e, s, d keys to 'walk through' builds in a more first person perspective. This will help you see different and more interesting compositions for your screenshots.

Homemade Attraction Oil (for attracting money/success/ect.)

Hi! first thing's first, this is an easy way to make attraction oil that is not to be confused with attraction oil used for attracting love or potential partners. This oil is specifically intended for attracting other things and opportunities. Again, this oil is not intended for attracting love or potential partners, but rather opening up new opportunities for you in life and opening new doors. This oil is made to increase your luck and prosperity, so if you feel like you're in need- please try out this recipe! Any ingredient listed can be substituted out for one of similar correspondence to really make this working your own- just do what feels right. This is a recipe brought to you straight from Lazarus and I, so I do hope you try it and enjoy. -Leviathan

Step 1: Find a jar or container to hold your oil- substitute the amount of each ingredient depending on the size of your container.

For us, we chose one glass bottle with a cork for each of us - and filled them up about a quarter of the way full with a carrier oil. Our oil of choice was extra virgin olive oil, though you can substitute that for coconut oil or almond oil if you prefer. It is ultimately up to you.

Step 2: We began adding our ingredients in this order:

clear quartz and citrine crystal chips

frankincense resin (an odd touch from Lazarus but fuck it, we ball)

gold mica powder for a little umph (it is not necessary for the attraction oil itself, do not fret)

at least 5 pieces of Star Anise

several juniper berries

a healthy pinch of rose buds

some ground ginger root

next, we moved on to the essential oils.

sweet orange, juniper, and the smallest pinch of rose. Remember, this is a different kind of attraction oil.

Step 3: Creating a sigil for the bottom of the container/side of the container to really set our intentions

Using one of several methods available to us, Lazarus and I workshopped an attraction sigil to put at the bottom of each container we made. Once we agreed upon our sigil, the working was done and we had finished our attraction oil. :

Each ingredient amplifies our intention in different ways. The star anise amplifies your luck, the clear quartz chips amplify any and all intention, citrine attracts wealth, abundance, success, ect. Juniper berries for attraction, good luck, and prosperity, ect. As you can probably tell, each ingredient was carefully chosen to promote a different intention, all leading to this very powerful concoction we like to call our own brand of attraction oil. Try it for yourself and see how you fare!

Episode 1:

-I can't believe they foreshadowed the final boss with fucking Sonic trivia

-Ngl if I asked out a girl and she didn't know anything about neither Sonic or X-Men, I'm dipping the first chance I get

-I was wondering why Scott had the star t-shirt at the beginning, since he only got that at the finale battle with Gideon, to signify his love for Ramona, but with the added context it's not supposed to matter, it's there because it's his most recognizable look

-Matthew's entrance doesn't have the same umph as the movie's. His actor really went all out in that scene, XD

-Sucks that Scott wasn't very involved in this, since he is the title character, but I still loved everything about this. Hope we get to see his arc in the next season

-Why is Ramona dyeing her hair so damn satisfying?

-Edit: The fact that STEPHEN of all people was the one that gave Scott a euology and was the only one that actually gave a damn XD

-The fact that all Matthew needed to defeat Gideon was confidence is actually very inspiring. The probable reason why he's so extra (besides being a theater kid) is because Ramona dumped him, which really hurt his self-esteem. And while it's kinda sad and pathetic to let a middle school break-up bring down your self-worth, that doesn't mean it didn't suck for Matthew; and after realizing that Ramona wouldn't take him back just because he beat Scott, he finally got a reality check and decided that their goal was pointless, so he moved on from Ramona and decided to make something out of himself, and using the confidence he got from "beating" Scott, he unleashed his true power and was able to defeat Gideon, take his company, and then became successful Broadway actor

It's nice that the Exes are actually cheering for them to kiss, or maybe they're just teasing because they can't; either way it's nice

Sucks he didn't actually use their powers, I would have loved it if he used Vegan Powers combined with mystical powers, maybe instead of Demon Hipster Chicks he summons little Nega Scotts, he has stronger skateboard tricks than Lucas, he some robot arms that can shoot lasers and can help him do the Twins' combo moves, but doubled

Also this was kinda foreshadowed in episode 2, at the end of Matthew and Gideon's fight, where she mentions wanting to get Vegan Powers after seeing how convinient they are. I need Half-Ninja, Vegan, Lesbian, now!!!!

played the Joseph: Collapse dlc for FC6 tonight and wow do I have Thoughts About That!

spoilerish content below the cut I suppose, about something that’s been out for a hot minute (but I digress)

As a Jacob Seed Girly™️, I have nothing to say except: Ow. Really, this was so painful on his end that I could hardly react from emotion, rather, I was literally just getting nauseous anytime we’d get backstory with him. I have nothing bad to say about the Jacob sections of the memories and visions, which speaks volumes because I always critique extra hard about characters I love? But nah, he was great. Broke my heart a little extra, but great nonetheless. I feel like, even if this DLC isn’t hard canon, it still solidified a lot of my headcanons for Jacob and really added some extra umph to his characterization. 10s across the board, 5/5 stars, but at what cost?

As the best friend of a John Seed Girly™️, I was also a bit disappointed? As far as we found, John didn’t have his own “big moment” like Faith and Jacob did, outside of the family excursions where you’d see stuff with all of them, or have to fight/find/save all of them. We need to go back and replay, because we missed one thing we for sure know about on our first play through, but it seemed like he didn’t get his own set aside event/memory with a big bad John fight at the end of it, the way the others did. I guess it could be excused if you were to say that Joseph felt less guilt there due to XYZ reasons or what have you, but that feels kind of like a cheap copout. That aside, I do think it’s likely that we could have just missed it somehow due to the nonlinear gameplay style and how there aren’t quest pickups/you don’t have to complete everything to beat the DLC. We did think that we had scoured every inch of the map, but it could be worth combing back over more finely. I WILL SAY…. The John crumbs we did get sprinkled throughout the group stuff??? Delectable. All his talk of “the urges” had me rightfully unsettled. Once again; GREAT addition to characterization here, I have to say that they really gave us more personality with all of the guys.

That being said…….. while the guys got some great new depth to them, I wish that, if the DLC was going to focus so heavily on Faith, we could have gotten more FAITH. Not Rachel. Or a mix of both, perhaps? I would have loved to have seen Rachel being brought into the fold of Eden’s Gate, or material with the past Faiths, or even the ORIGINAL Faith- and what she meant to Joseph, and the Seed Family overall. I feel like everything we got from Faith in this is DLC, was stuff we already knew about her from FC5. We didn’t really get any new depth to her character here, it just felt like her storyline from FC5 rehashed, which sucked a bit considering that so much of this DLC seemed to revolve around her.

Do not get me wrong, I LOVED this DLC. As a Jacob fan, I was eating it up (and by that I mean choking on my tears before they could even form). I just like to pick at things and critique them when applicable, and I feel like maybe this DLC struggled a bit because it was a bit too focused on trying to paint Joseph as being irredeemable and awful, and it missed out on really truly digging into why he was the way he was, or at the very least his family dynamics. Which… to me, kind of seemed like the whole point of a DLC about the mind of Joseph Seed? Not to paint him to be an awful terrible person and sling bias on him, but just to take a sterile approach to his life and see it though his eyes- his mind?

Anyways all that aside this DLC has hella replayability and I will be diving back into it at least 50 more times before all is said and done with.

Draken told us to hurry and meet everyone at the shrine and Baji and I were the only ones there! He sounded like there was an emergency and now, we were the ones waiting.

Sitting on the steps, Baji sat right in front of me, sighing:

“That’s Mikey and Draken for you.”

“Yeah, why be surprised,” Who knows how long we’d be waiting for them!

Sitting with an propped elbow, it was so quite and boring, till Baji leaned back against my knees, making sure to fix his hair first.

His hair was the most gorgeous I’ve seen, even better than mine. Out of curiosity, I ran my hair through and every long, black strand was silky soft, not a single tangle.

“Wont lie, I’m kind of jealous of your hair,” I giggled as he stared at me out of the corner of his eye.

“I’m sure you’re not the only one,” He chuckled, being extra with a small flip of his hair.

I thought it was so cute, running my hand through again and asking:

“Care if I braid it? You know, to pass time?”

“G-Go for it,” He sat up straight and a bit stiff, fixing his hair so it was all behind his shoulders, “Been a while since I’ve braided it.”

“Just relax,” Rubbing his shoulders before finding the top of his head, he loosened up some, massaging his scalp some too as I parted his hair down the middle.

“I just don’t let people play with my hair often,” It was understandable, the way he was feeling, but as I began a French braid, I joked:

“You think I’m hiding scissors and I’m just gonna cut it off?”

“If you did, today would be your last day on earth!” He sounded so serious and it made me laugh more, shaking my head:

“I’m teasing, Baji! Your hair’s too gorgeous to cut anyhow!”

“Better be teasing,” He growled playfully, hiding his own laughs and I just shook my head more, continuing to braid and tying off the first one.

As I came to a finish, I had an idea in mind, Baji asking first:

“All done?”

“Give me just one second,” Tying off the second braid, I was looking at the charms on my bracelets, taking my favorite one that was a golden heart, clipping it out of my bracelet and placing it in his hair by his temple where it could be seen, smiling at my finishes work, “Now, I’m done!”

Baji was dying to see, pulling out his phone, handing it to me:

“Take a picture so I can see it!”

Sure enough, I got up and did as he said, handing him back his phone with the photo displayed, “What do you think? I think it fits you pretty well.”

He was silent for a moment, trying to imagine the photo like a mirror, hand softly tracing his braided hair, up to the charm:

“Wait a second, isn’t this your charm?”

“Yeah,” I nodded, smiling nervously, “I thought it would give it some extra umph, ya know?”

“But it’s your favorite. I remember you punching someone over it,” We both laughed at that memory and he wasn’t wrong, earning a smile from him as I murmured softly:

“Lucky and special, huh?” The look in his eyes made my cheeks get warm, only nodding as he stood up, taking a step toward me till we heard:

“Sorry to keep you guys waiting.”

Mikey, Draken, and the rest of the guys were finally here, Pah being the first to notice, laughing at Baji:

“What did you do to your hair, man?!”

“What are you laughing at Pah, huh? You’re just jealous! And what took you guys so damn long?!”

We were a crazy bunch, after their yelling, we finally gathered around and got down to business, discussing some next moves and maybe another target.

It was always something, but like always, we thought of a plan and with nothing else left to do, I waved off to everyone, ready to go home, till Baji stopped me:

“Need a ride home, Y/N?”

I did walk over here since it wasn’t far from home, a smile forming as I joined Baji on the back of his bike:

“Can’t complain about a free ride.”

Hugging his torso and laying my head on his back softly, I enjoyed times like this the most. The night was beautiful with a clear sky full of stars, the roads empty, so it was a nice ride home.

“Thanks for bringing me home, Baji,” Sitting up straight while he parked his bike, he was the first one to hop off, smiling with his hand out:

“No problem. It’s not a fair drive so.”

I got that warm feeling from before when I took his hand, so soft in mine, taking in every bit of the small moment while he walked me up the stairs of the apartment complex that I lived in, taking me up to the door.

“Thanks again, Baji. Text me when you get home too, okay? Just so I know you made it okay.”

“Don’t I always do that?” He giggled, taking a moment to get serious before I reached for the door, “Is it okay if we talk for a second, since the guys interrupted us earlier?”

For a moment, this felt like dream, hooking my arms under his and holding on tight, the contact bringing me to reality, let alone when he pressed his lips a little harder, parting for a moment, then leaving another soft kiss.

“I wanted you to know, I’m not only one who’s special,” He whispered softly, our eyes opening at the same time to connect.
