i miss the trains in england. and europe 😔

#also i know they’re not 100% reliable but guys. my city has one train installed in 2019 that breaks down every time it snows or rains #when i went to italy we travelled by train as well and i missed it so much when i got back home too loool #i yearn for a decent railway system #i still don’t understand why canada hasn’t built it we have so much flat land #even just around ontario and quebec??? or connecting it to the northern usa cities?

lowkey very obsessed with the concept of italian summer with kageyama… very fitting all things considered

but just walking the cobblestone streets hand in hand. late night dinners at some small pizzeria. it’s located in a small and intimate alley, atmospheric lighting and some distance music setting the mood

or having a slow morning on the terrace of your rental, maybe just eating some grapes and crackers before you head down to the ocean which is the purest form of blue

and you’re so busy gushing about the beautiful scenery italy has to offer. “my god, isn’t it beautiful?” and kageyama will just agree quietly, “yeah, it’s breathtaking.” but really, while you’re admiring your surroundings, he has his eyes glued on you the entire time

I remembered i hadn't watched the latest Hetalia season yet (yes i'm very late) so i did that!! I liked it a lot it was very fun and cute 🥺 love the new characters and I'm so happy the ending continued the past couple seasons' tradition of Italy doing the wildest dance moves next to Germany and Japan kinda awkwardly dancing 🥹💖 sillies

Sad that it was over so fast though 💔 i miss the first couple seasons having like 50 episodes

I do think it’s kinda funny that EN announcers for trains, etc. in Germany will translate Hauptbahnhof into “central station” but in Italy there is zero translation of station names, or city names for that matter iirc

#Italy in general very so-so about EN translations just in general which is fair #germany is very hit or miss also but it feels less like a ‘we expect even tourists to speak a little German’#and more just that the country perpetually feels about 10-15 years behind in a lot of things #have you ever used a German website? doesn’t even have to be a govt site #you will know what I mean even covid couldn’t impact that much sfsfdfd

I don’t know how to explain it but, sweaters, knitted black and red, thick warm leggings, socks on the carpet, golden lights, family around, adults talking, children running around, cups of tea, music barely heard over the chatter, you smell something delicious, it’s cold outside.
